Several plugin MiniVan Fires. Scheduled a recall to check if our 2018 was bad. Yet our dash had flashed a BIG red triangle on dash while waiting to get in. Drove down there & Chrysler said keep driving it as it could take MANY weeks before they even got a new EV battery for it. We refused to take it back as we didn't want our house to burn down. Weeks passed & they finally got the new/several hundred pound battery in. Removed the old one, installed the new one & programed it over a couple days. In the shop for WEEKS but they only paid rental reimbursement for the couple days of install.

I am writing to formally express my extreme dissatisfaction with the handling of the recall on my 2024 Jeep Wrangler Sahara 4XE, announced October 30, 2025. This recall, which prohibits driving due to a fire risk, has rendered my primary vehicle unusable for over six months. Despite multiple attempts to contact your dealership, I have received no resolution or timeline for a fix. I am paying over $1,000 per month, yet the vehicle sits idle, unsafe, and unusable. I demand an immediate response, including a clear action plan and compensation for the months I’ve been without my vehicle.

Been waiting for an ABS Module for 7 months. Once a month or so, they call and give a tentative delivery date, and it gets put out every month. My truck won't pass state inspection now. I will probably be very hesitant to buy another Dodge.

One awful experience after another, first and last time. It’s bad all around, the sales manager, the service department and then to top it all off is customer care. Roadside assistance set up a tow truck to take my jeep to a dealer for service and that dealer rejected the vehicle because it was not purchased from them. The vehicle was returned to my house and I was charged $175 for the towing. No other dealers will take the vehicle because it’s not purchased from them and my dealer’s earliest appointment is in May of 2026 and in the meantime the vehicle is dead in the street and unable to move it.
Customer care got an appointment with a dealer and had it towed there, the vehicle been sitting there for 7 days now and they didn’t even know they had it. It’s unbelievable how Chrysler allow their dealers pick and choose who they service. Customer care is as bad as it gets, no help whatsoever. No courtesy car and they want me to rent a vehicle at my expense and submit for reimbursement later on and they decide how much to pay out. I would never deal with Chrysler ever again.

We bought a Dodge Durango 2022 in January 2023. In November 2025 the car failed I two ways. Firstly accelerated by itself hitting the car in front of it and the second failure was the ABS didn’t work. The car was less than 3 years old and less than 36,000 miles which means it was under manufacture warranty. Chrysler didn’t accept any responsibility and closed the case!!! Obviously the car was defected. Would you buy a car from them again?

Terrible customer service. My truck broke down because of a warranty part that is now backordered. Chrysler said they would reimburse towing and they did not. They also will not provide me with a loaner vehicle and have no date in sight when my part is coming in. It is available to purchase from Mopar, but Chrysler won't order it, they said it has to be through the warranty department. I will NEVER purchase another vehicle from Chrysler.

I have worked in the auto industry for many years and have never been treated worse than how Chrysler has. They have not stood by their product at all and have left us with a vehicle we purchased new knowing all the motors issues and now have declined our claim. Stranded with children and a $12,000.00 bill for a new motor. They are the worse company in the world to purchase a vehicle from and I will spend all the energy I have leaving reviews and letting people know not to purchase their products EVER!!!

To anyone who reads this review, DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT ever purchase a Chrysler product! Here’s why. In the last 8 years I have purchased 5 Chrysler vehicles totaling around 450K total for all 5 vehicles; a 2017 Ram 2500 Diesel 4x4 Laramie, 2019 Grand Cherokee 4x4 Limited, and in the last three months, a brand new 2024 Grand Wagoneer, 2025 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4x4 Altitude, and a 2025 Ram 2500 Diesel 4x4 Black Widow package. So obviously I have spent a lot of money on vehicles, especially in the last three months on the above-mentioned vehicles, only to get shit on by the Chrysler Cooperation.
My experience with my first two vehicles was an okay experience except for a backup camera issue I had with my truck. While it was still under the 3 year 36,000 mile warranty I took it in to the dealership to have the problem resolved; however they said they were unable to get the truck to duplicate the problem even after I had provided them pictures of the defect which occurred just minutes after leaving the dealership (Haddad Dodge, Bakersfield, Ca.).
Fast forward to September 2025, I traded my wife’s 2019 Grand Cherokee with 77K miles in for a brand new 2024, Grand Wagoner thinking I would get my wife a really nice vehicle, but instead I paid over 100K for the biggest piece of shit car I have ever owned. The car started to produce some technical electrical issues on my way home from the dealership the very first day. I took the vehicle back to the dealership and they said that it was most likely a software issue and that updates are routinely completed. That sounded reasonable to me so I went on about my business.
A few days later, my navigation screen would black out for no reason, again the dealership said just change screens and it should repopulate. I told them that a vehicle at this price point, I should not have to keep switching screens for the app to work correctly. I waited until the software update had been completed before saying anything more. Well, you guessed it, the issue still continued after the software update. Then the AC/Heater fan would surge off and on, then from low speed to high speed all on its own. The surging began on our way from home after taking delivery of the vehicle. Again I contacted the dealership and they scheduled an appointment for me to bring the vehicle in, but could not get me in until a week later.
During that time waiting for to take my vehicle in for diagnosis, the vehicle completely stopped moving after attempting to back out of a parking lot. After several attempts of placing the vehicle in park, drive and reverse, even shutting the engine off and restarting the vehicle the vehicle would not move until after the third attempt. Although I was able to get the vehicle to move, the transmission began making a grinding noise, like gears grinding. I thought that I may have accidentally engaged the four wheel drive but after looking, the four wheel drive was not engaged. The grinding lasted approximately 20-30 feet of distance then ceased. I thought that was odd but figured that it will just be one more thing to tell the Service Dept when I drop it off for my appointment.
The problems don’t stop there, in addition to what I’ve described, I also experienced issues with the heater engaging when the a/c was on then back to a/c and vice versa, a/c turning on when the heaters was running. Then on the day of my pre-scheduled service appointment which happened to be a sub-freezing temperature morning, the passengers seat heater switched off from heat to cool. My wife told me that her seat was freezing and when I looked at the seat control, the cooling system activated itself from heat to cool. Almost immediately after that happened, the back passenger a/c /heating unit activated by itself and began surging from low speed to high speed.
Once we got to the dealership I informed the service writer of all the above-mentioned problems, then left my new vehicle with them. The service writer contacted me days later only to inform me that the “radio head” was faulty and that the earliest they could get one would be March 2026, four months later. Then the service writer said that they discovered one of the axels had broken and grease was all under the vehicle, but they should be able to get the axel in about a week. Well, long story short, I got my vehicle back 33 days later after making several calls to the Chrysler Corporation. Upon picking up my vehicle, I learned that the faulty radio head as a common problem with this particular vehicle, in addition to them having transmission and engine thermostat issues. Needless to say, I was not confident in having my wife drive this $100K pile of crap.
When I explained all of the issues I was experiencing to Myra the claims representative for Chrysler, I was asked what I wanted. I told Myra that I wanted Chrysler to by this train wreck back, only to be told that I would have to wait until the vehicle had been fixed and then they (Chrysler) would evaluate my case, but if I wanted to, I could asked the dealership to take it back on a trade; like this was going to be a financially wise decision and that the dealership would absorb all the loss. Myra did inform me that I would be eligible for up to 3 months reimbursement for car my car payments, but I would need to provide a copy of my purchase contract, lien holder information and proof of payments made.
After providing Myra with the requested documentation, my case was transferred to a different representative (Levis). After multiple failed attempts to contact one another via phone and email I was able to have a discussion with Levis. Each time I tried calling Levis at the provided number and extension, even after calling immediately, within seconds after missing his call, I would get the same voice recording saying that he was either on another call or away from his desk but please leave a message or email. Well the email address that was provided would not accept emails from outside sources. Imagine my level of frustration at this point. Seems like the old avoidance tactic in hopes that the complaint will just surrender and go away; I’m not that guy and in fact this type of behavior will only make me pursue the matter even harder.
After a brief discussion with Levis on December 22, 2025, I was informed that any reimbursement would have to be reviewed by “the higher-ups” but he would get back to me later in the day. Well, this time Levis kept his word and contacted me later in the afternoon only to say that since the vehicle had been traded in there was no further assistance they could provide. After asking about the promise of making my car payment for having my vehicle in the shop for 30 or more consecutive days, he said that they were not going to honor that nor would they make me whole by reimbursing me the $6300-$6500 I had to eat when trading that piece of shit in for a more reliable vehicle.
I again explained that I was not a one time Chrysler product owner but that I not only traded the piece of crap in on a new car but also purchased a $100K truck. Did that make any difference; NO it didn’t! I informed Levi’s that I wanted to speak to a supervisor only for him to say that he would but it won’t matter because he was the one who made the decision to not compensate me for any of my losses. When I confronted him about lying to me by saying that he had to consult the higher ups he denied making that comment and informed me that all their conversations are recorded. I said good and that he better go back and listen to not only his conversation with me but also my previous conversations with Myra.
I was then told that he do not have access to any previous conversations with other representatives to which I told him that was BS. I again asked Levis if he had any discussions with his supervisor or anyone higher up than him regarding the decision of my case to which he said no. I told him that he was a liar just like Myra was and that Instill demanded to speak to a supervisor. I was informed that a supervisor will be calling me but it would be at least one business day before they would contact me. After all of this BS nonsense and blatant lies by Chrysler, I will NEVER purchase another Chrysler product and make sure that I tell everyone I can not to by their product!! I am not trying to get anything for free, but only to be made whole and for them to accept responsibility for a beyond poorly designed and manufactured product. No longer are the days in where a man will stand behind their word or for this matter their product.

The absolute worst customer service I have ever experienced. They sell vehicles with batteries that barely last the 3 years and then they charge you $900 if you have a main battery and auxiliary. $680 if you just have a main battery. They do not back their vehicles. They sell junk and have an offshore team that you have to work with who are completely useless and do not get back to you or follow up on what they say they're going to do. Toyota and Honda are 200% better than Chrysler customer service.

We have a 2024 Jeep Compass and have had nothing but issues with it. Been in the shop twice for rear differential. They wouldn't warranty a manufacturer defect on a rim that was messed up. Do not buy this vehicle. This vehicle has become a lemon.
