    Great service and fast reply. I had my problem solved very fast no other company have moved so fast. Every concern I had was addressed and solved. Most companies you have to wait a long time or have a hard time contacting support. Highly recommended.

    Very poor management and electric bill higher than normal. I was a customer when live an apartment. TXU charge out site apartment community electric charge which is normal than 6 times and I cut off 3 month some unusual bill which has no prove and I move other services company. TXU put in Experian zero dollar collection and down 53 points. TXU energy has fraud and identity theft relation with debit collection with Experian. Other hand Experian id the one of fraud and poor rating identity theft company use for suffer the user.

    I want to lawsuit against the bill charge and I paid off. Experian put in collection as FCRA agreed and paid off and credit score down. If it's paid of 2023 December then why Experian put my credit report 17 times and remove and again report. Is it not fraud? Be aware of TXU energy use and new customer to be aware of not contact TXU energy. Also be aware of Experian is one of identity theft from TXU Energy. I've contacted TXU energy company, very poor managements and fraud customer services. Wastage of time to talk. Please be aware of this company use electricity as as service provider. ITXU energy is worse in Dallas TX. I'll update you all the status as long Experian keep collation zero dollar due or written paid status. Please not all TXU bill bill whatever you received 20% to 30% fraud and TXU pay unfair way to Experian keep customer poor score.

    I made a HUGE mistake by recommending TXU Energy to my friend, and now that I’ve seen the bill, I’m absolutely SHOCKED! There’s nothing I can do now except feel embarrassed that I recommended this company. I’m sharing my bad experience so that NO ONE, under ANY circumstances, ever uses this company! I’m currently a subscriber, but I want to CANCEL my subscription ASAP, because now I realize how badly we’ve been taken advantage of!

    Horrible experience. The company said they would only help to adjust our bill if we chose to resign with them. Very rude. It is also hard to get ahold of anyone. Even the automated system threatens a convenience fee if we speak to an actual person! TXU is horrible.

    I had moved to a new address told them I needed to transfer my light that same day and they never told me the new address I was moving to didn't have a meter so I called them back and they keep pushing back the dates on them. Remind you I did call TNMP and they told me that my light company needs to request it for them to come put a meter out here and all I do I keep getting the run around I have been with TXU for 3 years. I guess now it's time to sue them cause they don't want to do their jobs. They need more ** people who can understand English.

    I have been with TXU since 2014 in a 2300 sq ft house I rent. In 2014, there were three of us in the house; myself and my two young adult sons who had computers, TV's game consoles and so on that seemed to be running 24hrs/ day! LOL! The house is 100% electric everything and has two a/c units, one for downstairs and one for upstairs, with programmable thermostats. During the summer in the early years, a/c set to 73 in summer and heat to 72 (I kept mine downstairs to 65 as I like to sleep cold).

    My bill during the summer with all of us at home (and someone was home 24/7 as my boys worked night shift) was around $270/month, using over 2000kw on average. In the winter, the bill would be around $325/month, as the heater and the overall insulation of the house and windows is not all that great). Long story short, my sons are married and moved out a couple of years ago. I am at work all day, and the AC is set to 75 for both units, as no one but my dog is upstairs in her kennel while I am at work. I changed all the lights to LED bulbs; use smart lights and devices, and I don't turn on the lights in the living room until it gets dark outside.

    After the "freeze out" here in TX, I noticed my bills started to increase to my latest of $462 when my actual use bill says $218! I have called several times and get all this "average" bill nonsense and how it saves me money! Really? I live alone in the house that is empty all day long M-F, no lights are on, and just the appliances and TXU talks around me when I ask how is it that my bill keeps going up when less is electricity is being used compared to when three people were in the house. I had one TXU rep tell me I should shut off my a/c to save money!

    I told her what to do with herself, as she for sure does not understand Texas summers! Done with them and I switch to Reliant who confirmed no "average" billing ** and that I will pay for what I use. What a concept! That TXU nonsense would be analogous to going to a gas station and when you fill up your vehicle, you do not pay what the pump says, but have to pay $500 because of the average gas the company predicts (TXU uses predictive analysis) you are going to use for the month. What a SHAM! So be quite aware of TXU and the games they play when you can actually understand the person you are talking to. Caveat Emptor!

    I've been with TXU Energy for over three years now, and I couldn’t be happier with the service. When I first signed up, the representative "ELVIS **" helped me choose a plan that fit my usage patterns and explained everything clearly — no surprises on my bill!

    Just worked with Paula G.to set up new service at our new house which we close on 4/25. Already a current customer of TXU and adding this new service was easy. Need to keep my current service for ~1 month after the start of the new service.

    TXU COMMITS HIGHWAY ROBBERY AND FRAUD. I am a home owner. My home was rented to tenants for the past year. The tenants were evicted with also, apparently an unpaid balance of $1389.30 to TXU. TXU placed a switch hold on my property which denied me the ability to get power in my name. I provided proof of ownership, I proved to my new provider and Oncor that the unpaid balance was not mine and I am the new occupant. 9 days later, after I moved back in, TXU denied the switch hold release. They shut off power, leaving me 7 months pregnant with my 2 young children and a freezer full of breastmilk without power all day. My new provider was unable to get them to release the hold. I was forced to pay $1389.30 of someone else's bill to restore power and even have the hold released so I can now hope to finally get power in my name.

    I cannot believe this is even legal and your company is a disgrace. You should be ashamed of making someone else pay a bill like this that isn't theirs. I will be leaving a review every day and escalating as far as I can until someone gives me a call with answers and a refund of my money. Your company is big enough to go after the people who actually owe you money. And I have the entire 1 hour phone call recorded proving that your rep forced me to pay this obscene bill or go without power, indefinitely.

    Horrible! Make up tons of lies! And unreal charges! Ask for deposit when you already paid the late fees. Bill won't change even if you disconnect everything and do not have appliances, every thing is unplugged and bill stayed the same and give you a million excuses! Say the rates fluctuate with the market!?? WTH?? Get ready to get ripped off one way or another!

    I would not recommend TXU to anyone after my latest experience with them. My account was supposed to be closed on 1/26, because my ex-wife was taking over the family house and requested to transfer the service. She selected another (probably better) provider and TXU rejected the transfer without contacting me. Today, 2/18, I received a bill for $350.00 for the period the account should have been closed and they refused to own their mistake. Never using them again!

    Absolutely would not recommend, and if you are an existing customer do not sign up for autopay. The scam like so many other companies do as well is hit you with “miscellaneous charges” that they make up and bill you for without saying. Since you signed up for autopay they say you “agreed” to it. $580 extra was charged to my account under this and they said "oh it’s what we saved you on average every month“ for a program we have no record of you signing up for.

    They cheat you. They said something else. They charge you too much.I made a biggest mistake in my life to choose TXU. I was paying less to Ambit Energy. Around $500. Now TXU charge me $900 which is too much. Never choose TXU.

    TXU Energy customer services provide a great experience. You can get electricity from hundreds of different companies, but TXU makes a difference with the privileges it offers to its customers. Billing options that vary according to your needs and customer service that you can easily reach when needed are great luxuries today.

    The experience I had was excellent and very helpful. I needed to make arrangement to pay this month bill and I was able to do it online because I am disable. I wanted to see if there were a better plan and I was assisted with that plan, which will save me $330 a month. It was a good feeling.

    Buyer beware!!! You think you are paying the price per the plan you signed up for, but if you have free nights, they charge $0.10 more for regular hours. Not sure how TXU is allowed to get away with this scam, but they are. No honest answers from customer service that make sense, so please make sure you ask the right questions before signing up, as in, "are you going to upcharge me thinking I will not catch it on my bill?".
