I spoke with Cristobal **, they helped me with the process of transferring my services to a new home. Made it quick and easy. There was no hassle. Took about 10 minutes if not less. Exceptional job today, thank you TXU! Been with them 2 years and will continue to be a customer!

Allan ** was incredibly helpful in setting up my electric plan for my apartment. I wasn't able to find my apartment in the search options on the TXU site, so Allan contacted my leasing office for me to acquire the missing information I needed. Then we finished out the enrollment process.

Chat agent was very helpful, and answered questions. Renewal of contract was quickly done. However, I was somewhat disappointed that she did not pick the lowest cost plan at first. I had to tell her about it. Also, the website did not display this plan when I first clicked on "renew now". I had to search for it myself.

I am a long time customer of TXU Energy and I asked to have a better rate plan suggested. I was given a couple of options and chose a new plan. It should save money on my monthly bill. I like the ability to make the changes online without having to speak to anyone other than an online chat.

I just had the best customer service experience of 2024!!! I needed an avg monthly bill amount for two houses. I spoke Richard #**. He was very professional, thorough, knowledgeable and kind. TXU 4 Life.

Customer service representative was very easy to work with and quick with responses. He was also attentive to my specific needs as someone from out of town who is renting an apartment. Highly recommend.

Worst company ever, their prices and fees are outrageous, they basically charge whatever the hell they want to screw you over, my last bill was $900, it was not late or anything, the month before I had to pay $400...I called to try to figure out why went up like that, they just said that is what it is, pay or get disconnected...I switch companies right away, not paying $900.

This was a very easy and helpful process to renew my energy contract. The chat provider was very knowledgeable and helpful. I would recommend TXU to my friends and family. I did not know they offered a way to get a home appliance warranty.

TXU's customer service is rude. I can barely understand what they are saying and when I ask them to repeat what they said, they get an attitude. I work with people from all over the world and never had a problem understanding anyone with accents, but this is different because the people that work for TXU do not know what being polite is. For how much I pay for electricity one would think they would have excellent customer service, but they don't. I will be looking for a different provider.

I changed energy companies after months of confusion with what plan/rate I was on and the insane amount of money I was paying for my new house which was much smaller than previously and supposedly more energy efficient. Needless to say, the process with TXU was flawless. The person assisting me was very knowledgeable and helpful. Needless to say, I switched and very happy with my new service!

My daughter has TXU and let me just say she’s in a 1 bed apt and her bill has been $300 a month, she has a disabled child on a breathing machine and our ** tribe has been paying her electric. TXU has a horrible intake dept, the tribe sends the payment out and it takes TXU 21-30 days to process the check and place it on the account. It shouldn’t even take that long so she has to call every month to make sure they help her with an extension so that THEY CAN GET THEIR STUFF TOGETHER AND PLACE THE MONEY ON THE ACCOUNT!! With that being said the representatives all told my daughter she has to pay $100 for an extension because their team takes 21-30 days to process a check from an agency to my account. This company doesn’t care at all that there’s a child on a breathing machine. We will be changing companies as soon as they get paid off.

I am very satisfied with the chat-based conversation with a TXU agent. He went through my usage details, answered my questions, and finally provided me with a product that fits best to my usage habit. TXU has great customer service.

This company is a ripped off. Don't purchase Night and Day plan. I moved out of my house and shut off all HVAC but still got charge over $200 per month for day energy usage. I called TXU multiple time to complain but got do nothing and send the bill to my old address. Two months later they reported my bill to credit report. My credit was excellent over 800 score and brought down to 600. I called them and they tricked me to pay off the balance and write me a letter but they never did. My credit is now damaged and prevent me to obtain the mortgage at excellent rate. HORRIBLE COMPANY... My suggestion, never gave them your social security. I suggest you create an llc and EIN number and give them that number. Their executive office is another especially the rep name Nikia and her extension **. She promised to review and call back next day and never did.

I asked question in live chat about programs, and spoke to Ricardo, who was very helpful and knowledgeable about their products. The whole experience was pleasant, for a change, when it comes to such services. We were able to get the product we wanted and it was an easy process.

I hate the service. You can NEVER actually speak to someone and when you finally get someone on the phone you might as well have spoken to the automated system. I hate it. It is aggravating that you cannot just simply call a number and speak to someone. All the promos and things offered quickly disappear. I Just wish there was another option.

I had a very pleasant experience with a very professional representative: Cristobal on chat. He provided me with straightforward information and we discussed options also. I went with his suggestion considering costs and length of contract, with a locked in rate. So I am pleased with his assistance and did not feel pressured to 'select a specific plan only', but rather a thoughtful discussion with numbers/data and costs.

Man let me tell you… my wife had ran into a rep at Walmart and told her a bunch of lies. Quite foolish she may be she signed up. (Argument of course) Next thing you know 3 days later I get to termination fee from my current provider. I called and said this was a mistake but they kept saying how good the plan was. 1 month later and my first bill was $1000. They said they gave me free nights but what it was was a free scam. Don’t do it.

Amazing customer service providing lightning fast resolutions. Was able to engage in a chat session to end contract due to moving out of a covered area and have the termination fee waived. Thank you TXU!

The experience was 1st Class - very well organized - we negotiated a successful agreement -and I am continuing on as a TXU customer - - the New plan should save me about 15% on my energy bill next year!

Chat feature worked great. I was able to find a plan that suits me that I did not see online. The agent was able to pull up my current usage since I am already a customer and make a recommendation to lower my monthly bill.

Customer service is a joke. All I need is to have my account transferred out of my partner's name and into mine. That's all. The ridiculous emails, incomprehendable phone calls, and lack of any movement over weeks of attempts shows indicates that TXU has outsourced customers' service and could care less about helping their customers! Not to mention the opaque nature of the emails coming from customer service that have very little to tie them to TXU, so they look, sound, and feel like a phishing expedition and are hard to trust. Time to start looking into alternatives... These folks have taken their eye off the ball and forgotten where their revenue comes from! Confidence lost!

I used a Super Saver TXU energy plan for my small apartment in Dallas. During my time there, I had no issues with service and billing was simple. I had to cancel my plan early and it was very easy to do so. I would recommend this company!
