I've had these tires for roughly 5,000 miles (~3 months). One thing I can say that as good as these tires are on dry surfaces, they are equally as BAD on wet surfaces. They lose traction on the slightest of wet roads and will hydroplane across puddles...even at LOW speeds. Borderline dangerous to drive in wet weather, I'm taking them back to exchange them for a different brand.

These tires SUCK, buy at your own risk. Both, yes both front tires at the same time began to bulge at 27K miles. These were factory tires from Honda. NEVER, NEVER buy these. I contacted customer service about the issue hoping they would something, anything, their reply was, "It's your issue, most likely road hazard." What a way to handle it Continental, blame it on the customer and avoid any and all responsibility for your defective product. Showed it to my tire guy, He said broken steel belts, most likely a manufacturing issue, tires showed no signs of road damage.

I'm 77 years old and drive very respectably. That said I wanted to review my experience with Continental Sure Contact RX tires. The tires are good handling, quite, good in rain, etc, However, I only have 22,000 miles on them and only 4/32" tread remaining. I typically get a minimum of 45,000 miles out of tires. Very bad treadwear!. With the price of tires, I can't afford to buy Continental. I bought these tires from Tire Rack and they treated me excellently!

After 73,000 kms highway driving mostly, plus recent tire rotation and alignment, tread's less than 3, and almost bald on insides. Pure garbage tires, beware, they wear unevenly and are dangerous. Worst tires in my 48 years as a motorist.

I've driven Mercedes for 40 years believing in their safety. I recently had a belt break in my Continental tire while driving on the turnpike. I am a senior and could easily have been killed. Further inspection revealed another tire bubbling and ready to break! Tires are out of warranty of course, even tho driving mileage is low. Two faulty tires! Definitely a problem. Going back to Michelin.

Continental has Very horrible customer service and tire quality, My First front set of continental tires contisport 254/35 zr 21 on my Tesla, one of the tire blows out with 12,000 miles on it, so I had to buy front set of tires for $900 and then again one of tire blows out with 2000 miles in the same manner, so called continental for help and they say warranty is expired and asked me to take it to discount tires for further investigation and after wasting my two hours discount tires gets the same answer what I got, can't do anything as warranty is expired, Never buy this brand tires as the company does not stand behind their brand!!!! I purchased a set new from my local dodge dealer. 65,000 mile warranty tires. Have just over 22,000 miles on them and down to the wear bars. 1 tire now has a wobble to it. Religiously rotate may tires and yearly 4- wheel alignments. Today they get replace with some new Goodyears. I will never purchase thrash tires from Continental again. And yes I'm returning the garbage to the dealer to see if they will help me deal with the company that fails to back its warranty.

The poorest-quality tires that I have ever purchased had the worst warranty service. My brand new Tesla's front tire started leaking at 17,000 miles. I took it to TESLA and Mavis, and both people said the tire is fine; there might be some manufacturing issue. I contacted Continental, and I returned the tire to them. There was no reply after that, and when I inquired, they said the tire had side wall damage and was not covered. Where did the damage come from? It was not there on two facility checks. Everything is fraud, and they do not want to provide the warranty service promised. I will never buy nor recommend these tires in my life.

I purchased a 2024 Acura Integra A-Spec with the technology package, the stock tires are Continental garbage. To date the vehicle has 759 miles on the odometer. On top of having to air these up every two weeks due loss of tire pressure activating the sensor. I drive in the city and not that much as is evident by my odometer reading. These tires are dangerous and will likely lead to avoidable tragedies should the manufacturer actually care about the quality and safety of the equipment they pander. Acura is also at fault for not holding their supplier to strict performance and safety metrics. Also, for choosing a poor company to partner with, bringing brand reliability down with it.

Purchased continental tires due to good reviews (which I now believe were clearly fake) and had two blowouts and numerous bubbles all within one year. I finally decided to replace all the four tires with Michelins and have not had a problem since. In addition my daughter purchased a CRV with BRAND NEW Continental tires, less than one year and 20,000 miles later we are having to replace all four due to bubbles in sidewalls. I am waiting for some smart lawyer to start a class action against Continental as I see many people have had the same experience.

Our 2023 Integra came equipped with Continental Tires. With only 1500 miles on them, a blowout occurred driving over a railroad crossing at around 30 mph. There wasn’t anything abnormal about the crossing, just average bumpiness, but the sidewall on one of the tires blew out. Of course, Continental claimed “road hazard,” and refused to do anything about the tires. The attitude and knowledge of the customer representatives we talked to was poor. The tires had low mileage, were not driven on poor roads, and were maintained at the proper pressures. In my opinion, the manufacturing quality is extremely poor, and is matched by the company’s refusal to back their product.

I’ve seen numerous Continental tires with bubbles in the sidewalls on random cars, when I bought a brand new car (I was sad the factory tire was a Continental) and found a bubble in my sidewall after going over a speed bump, I was disappointed but not surprised. Luckily I have a full-size spare and switched it out. The warranty on a new car excludes road hazard as opposed to a set from a retailer. Boo! Cannot wait to replace with Pirelli or Michelin. It’s like the sidewalls are made of paper mâché and completely pathetic. Shame on Continental Tire for selling trash.

I purchased the above tires because Continental tires are highly rated. 65k miles warranty treadwear. Not cheap tires. The warranty fine print is for 72 months. I purchased for the 65k miles. Thinking these would be the last tires I will purchase. I drive very few miles on an annual basis. In 5 years I have driven 23k. The tire tread is down to the wear bar. I am not covered under the warranty. The warranty paperwork does not say conditional on rotating tires every 6 mos or 5000k miles. I rotate tires. Still worn out. The warranty is a scam. Purchase tires with a different brand. Do not believe mileage warranty relates to quality of tire.

I currently lease a 2021 Chevy blazer with 32k miles on it. On February 8th, 2023. I went into Taylor Chevrolet to get a tire repair due to a nail stuck in my front driver's side tire. I was advised that the tire P265/45/R21 could not be fixed, and I needed replace all tires because they were completely worn out. I was totally upset. How could ALL of my tires be worn out evenly at the same time with only 32k miles? I have my tires rotated at the dealership consistently. This led me to believe that I received a defective set of tires.
Called Continental Tire tires at 800-847-3349 and spoke with Customer service. Rep replied there is nothing she could do. Tires last between 20k and 30k. I was not satisfied with paying such a large amount for tires that were defective. I feel like as the consumer the company should stand behind their products. I feel like Continental does not stand by their product, I don’t ever want Continental tires on any vehicle I purchase going forward.

I just had these new tires installed a little over a year. While driving my car along I-5 with my son. The front passenger side tire just burst for an unexplainable reason. I was so shocked and afraid. As I know how dangerous it is to have a front tire burst while driving along a highway. Thus, endangering my life and my son’s as well. And mind the other commuters and drivers. I have some video how the tire look like when I stopped. And to be honest, I’m still wondering how I escaped and avoided a tragic accident. Good thing I was able to maneuver and handle my wheels, as straight as I can until I was able to put it to a complete stop.
Now, to anyone who see the video, can you possibly share with me your thoughts what might have happened or caused why the tire burst. Because I am really confused if this is a manufacturer's defect or installer's mistake? I pray if it is manufacturer's defect, that whatever I experienced will not happen to other consumers who bought the same product/same tire.

My 2022 Kia Rio S came with Continental Tires. At under 8,000 miles, one of the tires went flat and could not be repaired. I took it to the dealership (an authorized reseller) and learned that Continental Tires do not stand behind their product. I always buy my new tires at Costco (which warranties their tires for road damage and gives prorated prices on tires that require replacement).
I cannot understand why Continental Tires wouldn't provide coverage for its tires to last at least 8,000 miles. Because there is so much tread on my tires, I only need to replace the one ($166 installed at the Kia dealership -- no discount, no prorating, and no warrant from Continental Tires); otherwise, I would go to Costco for a new pair (or all four). Bottom line: avoid Continental Tires. Costco Tire Center spoiled me.

I have a 2013 Toyota Camry 16" base LE trim. Continental Control Contact Tour A/S Plus tires have serious quality issues. All the sidewalls cracked caused a blowout while I was driving. I've only been driven less than 30,000 miles on those tires with 80,000 miles warranty. The technician that looked at my car told me he doesn't often seen a tire blowout so uniformly on the sidewalls that appears someone slicing a cake with different portions. He said most tire blowouts would either ripped apart from sidewalls or look different than mine. He said those Continental tires had such a weak sidewalls that's what caused the issues with mine. I will never buy another Continental tires again. They have serious quality control issues and could have caused another person serious injury while driving on defective tires. And manufacturing defect only covered under 1 year. Do Not Buy from this brand!

I take my car for its regular service and tire rotation only at the dealer. I ask if there is a proration period on my tires. After checking into it they would cost me more to go that way rather than just buy them new without the proration. I ask how can a 65,000 tire be no good already and they reply was because of the roads. I have never had tires go bad so quick and will not invest my money into tires that will not last.

Have a 2016 Nissan Versa. Have been changing tires right and left since I bought this thing (car only has 35K on it).The Nissan dealer changed out all four original Continental Tires (which I paid for). Since then, in the last year, I’ve had to change out 3 of the four tires (all have gone bad/flat, etc.). I’ve been to Pep Boys three times in the past year (switching out these tires with Kelly tires), thankfully I have only one Continental tire left.
These things are terrible. I’ve never have had any problems with tires like these things. Every time, I get a flat tire, it’s with the Continental tires. Even if it’s my fault somewhat, why did my original set only last like 25K?This is a work car back and forth to work, that’s it. The car has been maintained every 5K. Don’t buy Continental tires. Actually, I’m surprised Nissan recommended them to me at the dealership. Haven’t had any problem with the Kelly tires, either. All of the problems/money spent have been with Continental. Don’t buy, they’re garbage. You’ve been warned, spend the extra money for better quality. Kelly tires have been doing fine since purchased, too. Haven’t had any problems with them like these Continental ones. Overrated, don’t buy.

Had my 4 tires replaced on my Mercedes C Class by the local Mercedes dealership. At about 14K Miles (1.5 years later) I was returning from a trip and the rear of the car started shaking so violently I had to pull off the Highway to inspect. The Left Rear Tire Was obviously not round. After getting the car back home I contacted MB. They just said they were over a year old and would not warranty. I contacted Continental. They basically said talk to the dealership. I finally wrote a letter to MB stating my dissatisfaction being a long time MB owner. They finally agreed to replace the tire because of tread separation.
When I got the car back it was pulling noticeably to the left and would shake at speed and when the brakes were applied. I brought my car into a local reputable tire shop. They put it up on the lift to show me that two other tires (Fronts) were not round any longer and that was the shaking and brake pulsation problem. These tires are defective and dangerous. I just replaced them with Michelin Pilot Sport 4S. What a world of difference. Continental tires are sadly garbage now and they don't stand behind any warranty. BTW this is my 5th Mercedes that was equipped with Continentals. Never a problem in the past but that being said I would never buy Continentals again nor a car equipped with them.
