This company has unrivaled customer service and follow through. I asked them to give me two years and follow up as we needed more time. They did just that. Super impressed. I am ready to move forward with my purchase.

When I called to inquire - I was greeted with Excellent customer service from Dallin **! He was knowledgeable and was quick to answer all my questions. He was friendly, and w attentive to steel building inquiry! We will definitely do business with them again.

I spoke with Charlie ** at Armstrong's about a building, and was very pleased at helpful Charlie was and how easy the process to get a quote was. We discussed what I was looking for and in no time at all there was a render in my inbox. Very happy with the customer service!

Garrett ** has been amazing! He was super helpful for me planning my future in building a barndominium! He was very thorough in finding out exactly what I wanted and how I wanted it. The fact that you have such amazing people helping you, and the building is backed by a 50 year warranty I can’t imagine going wrong.

I signed our contract for a 40x60 steel building November 28, 2021. I was told that I would have the engineered plans in February and the building will be delivered in April. They have collected 30% down payment. That is the last time they have initiated contact with me. About every two months I attempt to contact them and eventually am told it will be another two months. It has been about a year and I was just told that I won't have things until next year. I still don't even have the engineered plans. They have graciously offered to cancel my order if I wish, but they will keep all my money, $20,000. No communication, broken promises, I feel like a hostage waiting for them to give us what they agreed to. I have attempted to call their "Customer Advocate". There is none. Everyone seems to be quitting.

Working with Brandon ** has been a blast. He really knows his buildings and the buyer's perspective. Got me where I wanted to be and under budget. Couldn't have asked for more insight and support. Can't wait to finish this project. It's going to be huge!

I just needed a quote for insurance purposes and James ** helped me out without a negative word. I've talked with many sales people and he let me talk to make sure he understood what I needed. Thank you James!

In the beginning they are very helpful until they get your deposit and then crickets! It has been a year. No building and now they are almost doubling the price! Contacted them several times with either no contact back or giving us the runaround. They finally contacted us when we turned them into the BBB! I’m ready to join a class action against them! They refuse to give me my deposit back! The original price was 33k and now they want 61k! It’s not my fault it has taken them a year!

My husband loves his 'getaway' shop! With his pickup, Charger, and several other toys, we needed a protective yet enjoyable space for him. He's so handy that he built this shop with his own bare hands, sweat and, hard work. Everyone we know compliments him on how great the building looks! We're always happy to show off our Armstrong building.

I chose Armstrong because the price was great for the quality building I received. The competition here in Texas was more expensive for not as great of quality. I trusted Armstrong Steel and really liked how they didn't required I pay most of it upfront, unlike other companies I had looked at who required 50%. Being able to pay the remaining balance upon delivery really put my mind at ease, I knew I was in good hands. I love my 50x100 barn!

Great customer service from Zach, Ultimately how our property is, we aren’t going to able to build the shop we want. He gave us a lot information and explained how different buildings have their supports located, making a difference in our plans. Zach also understood when we ran across issues that made it impossible for us to build our dream shop. Great value and customer service!

Building Shop 30x30 was great. Working with Chris on this project at this time I am not able to put in a new shop at the house. Thank you for the time spent on the project. I would like to send a recommending to any one that is looking for a shop to get built on their house and land. The only reason that I will not be building one is my back yard space is not large enough at this time at my house so I am working on getting the land that is next to my house. Chris was a huge help on the building project with me and I want to thank him for the help in the building project.

Zach ** was incredibly helpful when it came to helping me choose the right outbuilding for our needs. I do not have much experience in building construction and had a vague idea of what I was looking for. He took the time to explain the different types of roof lines and materials used in their builds and compared them to other outbuildings I was looking at. Definitely a great guide for a large undertaking in a project like my own.

I was very pleased with this company. Their follow through was so good. They e-mailed and even called to let me know when the stove would be arriving and where it was in transit. Their prices were the best I found. I will do business with them again for sure.

I cannot remember the last time that I received customer service like I have from Armstrong Steel. Our Armstrong Steel project manager, Jeremy, was extremely knowledgeable and assisted us at every turn. Kitty in the shipping department was on point and always had answers to our questions with respect to our scheduled delivery date. In short, everything went smoothly and you guys did everything we expected of you. I am sure that the other folks I didn't deal with directly are just as helpful - because it seems to be a part of your company's culture. We're in Princeton, West Virginia and we bought our church from Armstrong Steel. So far, so good. It's erected and looks great on the outside. We're still working on the interior finish out but our experience with your company was seamless, no regrets.

I am one of the Directors of the Fox River Trolley Museum in South Elgin IL, where we display and operate a collection of antique trolley cars. Our Board has started exploring options for additional storage buildings, looking to get more of our cars stored indoors. On their web site, Armstrong Steel offered the opportunity to obtain a quotation for one of their buildings and had several FAQs which were a great help for a non-architect like myself. Based on that, I requested a quotation for a building with some non-standard dimensions. I was very pleased with the quick response that Joni ** and her team at Armstrong provided. She developed a price for the building kit and walked me through their rules of thumb for the cost to erect the building on our site. These data were very helpful for our Board to begin the decision process among several differing options.

Great company to work with! We were under time obligations to deliver on a project. We hired Great Western Building that still has not delivered the building. Armstrong stepped up and delivered the building when they said. I will only use Armstrong for my future steel building projects.

I signed the contract for the building on February 24, 2021. I just received the blueprints via email on Jan.11, 2022, and the shipping agreement on Jan 12, 2022. Then on Jan 24th, 2022 after talking to her on the phone, she sends me a email for verification of purchase which had a $31,520.21 increase on it over and above the original price that they agreed to in the contract. I told her on the phone that was ridiculous. More than a 100% increase from the price we agreed on. Then on Feb 1st, 2022 she sent me another email. Said she was able to get the increase down to 21,013.47.

Brandon ** at Armstrong Steel Corp has a wealth of knowledge about anything concerning steel structures. He really helped point me in the right direction for what I'm wanting to build. Highly recommend him as well as the company. Response to communication fast also, emails back and phone calls returned quickly. Definitely ask for Brandon.

I had a great experience getting a quote from Armstrong Steel. Robert ** was friendly, knowledgeable, and very helpful getting me a prompt quote. If we end up going with this building, I have full confidence in Robert and Armstrong.

Where is the option for NO STAR? Armstrong is worse than a sleazy used car dealership. At least at that car lot you actually leave with something you could at least scrap out. My husband and I signed a contract for a 30' x 80' metal building. We put +$15k for the deposit back in March 2021. Armstrong goes MIA for NINE MONTHS until November 2021 when we receive our preliminary drawings. We were verbally told we would get our building the first of the new year. Negative. The only thing we received at the new year was an additional +$52k in miscellaneous material price increases. A building we signed for at $40k is now over $90k and still no delivery date. It's been OVER A YEAR and still no resolution.

The representative, Chris ** at Armstrong Steel has been very responsive the several times I have talked to him. He has given me answers to my many questions, several quotes on some options I am working out, and has a thorough explanation of the process and products. No other metal building company has been this responsive, helpful, and purely willing to help me.

Spoke with Chris a lot during this process. He was very helpful and I appreciate his efforts. I did not end up buying one at this time, as I am in the research phase, but I will be back for more in the future.

I have been working with Conner ** on getting quotes for our, what seems to be, ever-changing project we have going on and he has been amazing. He has had to deal with a lot of changes and has happily helped us out and we could not be any more grateful. Conner's helpfulness and willingness to go above and beyond is a big reason for us choosing Armstrong.

I want to tell Armstrong how blessed I was having such a qualified, caring, helpful employee, Joshua ** Building Consultant help me. Joshua took time to help me with a quote for a building I was looking into getting. You see my husband was the decision maker. He and his mom died 3 weeks and 4 days apart each with COVID19 pneumonia last July and August. Then 2 weeks after my husband's death hurricane Ida came through South Louisiana and damaged my house and blew down my husband's shed. Joshua explained everything to me and sent me emails to help me see exactly what he was talking about. I appreciate his time and understanding and knowledge in your company. Though I had checked with various metal building producers, they really never took the time to educate a novice who really wasn't sure what I wanted and for sure what I could afford. Chris ** did that for me. Though I haven't yet gone elsewhere, I am trying to find a plan that I can afford. I also wish there was some way for potential customers to look at some buildings Armstrong has built and talk with the owner. It would also be nice if a novice could talk to a builder in my area who has built an Armstrong building in my area and is able to help me know what building erection costs are. Chris is a real gem.

Everything went very well until I got to the blasted door handles and door locks. They would just not work properly and I had to replace both of them. The insulation was a very good investment. The building is very secure and sturdy, exactly what I wanted!

I ordered a steel building in October of last year and Armstrong was six weeks late from the maximum extended date. A week out, before I was supposed to take delivery the building, Armstrong decided they wanted to charge me $16,000 more as the price of steel went up. They didn't care about the signed contract. They extorted money from me. I would never recommend them to anybody else. Hopefully, this will keep people from having to endure what I did.

We have a project requiring steel buildings. We contacted Armstrong Steel and ended up with Joni the corporate liaison. Our experience with Joni has been wonderful. She is positive, a good communicator, has excellent follow-up, and is more than competent. If you are in the need of a steel building, Joni is wonderful to work with. If you have a steel building project you should consider using Armstrong Steel Buildings.

Had a great experience working with Mike G on some projects that I'm working on. Would highly recommend both the company and Mike G to anyone. Make sure to ask Mike G about his monthly specials if you're on the fence about your decision with a metal structure, he's working with me on it now.

I am still putting the foundation in. I got the building kits two weeks ago. I'm still waiting for some of the components and add-ons from Armstrong's vendors. I spoke with the project manager the other day and she gave me an estimate for when I'm supposed to get some of the components. Everything that I'm looking for from them is either in production or on shipment right now. So, I should have everything that I ordered through them shortly, is my hope. It was just that after we had the contract signed, I got contacted by them and said that we were going to have another price change. That was not something that I would typically have dealt with. I would have told them that I'll go somewhere else just because we had already confirmed pricing and then they called. That was the one frustrating thing for me. Other than that, I've been okay with them. They have good structures and very good products. I just didn't care for some of that side of things.

Working on buying a commercial building from Armstrong Steel and Conner has been very professional and quick to get us a quote. Will post again once project is complete. We look forward to seeing our vision come true on the exact building we are looking for.

I've been working with Joni ** and she has been a great help and resource in helping me develop the plans for our project. We spoke on the phone for about 30 minutes and she had drawings to me that perfectly captured what I want to do within a day, it was a really great experience.

Armstrong Steel overpromised and under-delivered. They completely promised a delivery time. Then I kept asking the question, "Are you sure you can do this on time? Are you sure you can do this on time?" I never got noticed that there were any production delays. We got into the point where I put a down payment on and I still kept saying to the lady who took over from the salesman, "I need this building by this time." She kept promising. She said, "Okay. So I have one last question. Do you want this certain flock insulation put on the steel?" She wanted to charge me $10,000 for something that she had no spec sheet on, no information on, and expected me to make a decision on the spot.

It is truly rare when you get quality customer service these days. I began working with Tyler on a new build today. We got a ton done, due to his overwhelming patience and kindness. Tyler is a true asset to Armstrong. Steel. Thank you again, Tyler.

The rep was really helpful. I didn't know what I was looking for and what I needed but he took hours daily just to talk to me about what I could do. And then he actually went out of his way to find a builder for me. He listened to what I needed. We sold my mom's house and we needed a building ASAP. He says, “Hey, I understand that you're after that building. But since you're building your mama’s building, I have this building. This will work for you, and won't have to spend all that money.” So he found me a council building that was coded for California, immediately, and got the contract done, and got us into it. That worked out even better because we hit a snag with the bank. By buying his building, it allowed us to be able to do everything we needed to do and we're not in a rush now for the other building.

My experience getting a price quote for an Armstrong steel building was prompt and handled with professionalism. Jim ** has been a pleasure to work with. I had provided a rough drawing of what I was wanting in a shell for a home, and he provided me with the possibilities and limitations in matching my schematic. I received a rough estimate within a day of my request!

As vice president of our local volunteer ambulance corps I was charged with providing a 5 year plan to our town board outlining our needs over the next 5 years. Our main need was a new building, our old one is outdated and overcrowded. In researching steel pre fab buildings I contacted Armstrong Steel corp. for a quote and was directed to Mr. Brandon Schempp. I told Brandon up front that this building might never happen and/or it might take up to 5 years.

Brandon is very helpful and knowledgeable. I would recommend Brandon and his sales team to help with any steel building questions. The info packet I received was the perfect amount of information I needed to help answer any questions I had regarding the project that we were discussing.

He is super friendly and great to work with over the last few months. I had done a lot of research when looking for a company to work with for our building needs and Armstrong had been the best in price and customer service. This has been a wonderful experience and would recommend for anyone's steel needs.

The day I inquired about a building project I received a phone call back right away. Connor ** walked me through step-by-step what I would need in order for them to design my project. He also included three different manuals explaining step-by-step instructions of set up, prep and getting permits, etc.

Armstrong Steel took care of us from start to finish. Through initial consult to design to delivery. Design team took into account our needs and budget to deliver a stellar building with the highest quality components in a timely and organized manner. Our contractor said he had never seen a building delivered so complete and so organized allowing them to erect our building quickly and completely in 5 days. We will never shop anywhere else! Armstrong Steel is the only metal building manufacturer we will ever use.

I liked Armstrong Steel's price, and they had great reviews on their website. Also, with what information I could find about them, people seem to have good experiences. I purchased a 40x52 steel building. The initial person I talked to was very pleasant, helpful, answered all kinds of questions and got me to pay for things in advance to lock in some prices. Then when I got moved to the next salesperson, it was less than pleasant. Once all the changes I wanted and things were ordered, it was blackout for eight weeks. I sent an email to confirm what's going on because they told me it will be four to eight weeks for things to come. I said, "Hey, still, can you give me an idea where is this at? 'Cause I've got permitting, all kinds of things I'm trying to get in place to have ready when I get this building." They sent me the same exact email back. So, it was completely useless information and there was not a helpful person at all.

I really wanted to write a great for this company however I cannot. I purchased a 40x42 shop in March and as requested paid the $8k deposit. Weeks later I received my initial drawings and I approved them as drafted. The product was to be delivered in June. Well we are now close to August. My contractor after several attempts to contact Armstrong Steel with no response has walked. I called and emailed and after over a month of being ignored, I received an email that my project manager was on leave. The new person assigned to my project sent me plans that were incorrect and when I pointed the errors out to her, to my surprise I was told that I could not get a refund and too bad that my contractor after a 6 week delay has walked away.

The whole reason I bought from Armstrong was because they sold me on the fact that if I do it now, they're going to lock my price in because steel prices are gonna go up. When the building got drawn up, I showed the sales representative what I wanted with the doors. He quoted me the price and I got it. When I got to the PM, he said that I don't have any openings. They're going to add those and it's going to cost me money. That was the first change order. Then they hit me with another change order after the fact, even though they have a price lock guarantee. Then after that, they hit me with two more change orders for material escalations, which I had to negotiate down. I haven't started erecting the building yet. But to date, I wouldn't buy another building from Armstrong.

Wanted to give a shoutout for Brian **. Brian provided a quote on a metal building for me. He was professional, patient and followed up promptly. He was informative and in speaking with regard to competitors, he did not bash them, but pointed out some relevent differences to look for. All in all, Well done!!

They were one of the main companies that have pretty good customer service as far as getting back to me promptly and interacted. So I stayed with them. I reached out to them in March, then we went through March and April with the planning and the design process. Then in May, we solidified the order. The building was shipped and delivered in September. But some of the design parameters were not quite clear. I had to really get down in there and hope that I was doing it right because the design wasn't very detailed. But other than that, they did pretty good as far as getting me the material and what I needed.

I liked that Armstrong is a local company and I thought it was going to be easier to have them make my building. I thought the process was slow but it was pretty fast. It took six months or so. They were asking to deliver the building before I needed it. I told them I didn't have room for it. I was not ready and didn't have the permits. But they did a really good work on everything except that I got a few pieces that are bent. When I start erecting the building, I'm pretty sure my neighbors are gonna come by and check it out and I'm gonna recommend Armstrong buildings. It’s really nice.

Was in the market for a metal building, but found a home with a nice metal building already on site. Chris was a knowledgeable salesman and was good about following up. Thanks for the help! Armstrong Steel very responsive via phone and email. The delivery was right when I asked for it. Everything looks great.

The sales representative was good but the project manager, not so much. He needs to improve his attitude. But everything else went great. The building that we're working on right now is 100 feet long and about 50 feet wide. They don't want to send out the plans for the floor until the building is ready to be seen. I could already have my building going up if I had the floor plans a few months ago. But we're fixing to start putting the steel up and it looks as good as any of the others I’ve ever seen.

I had a general idea of what I wanted. I called a couple of local companies. Biltmore was one that was recommended, but it was a lot cheaper of a design. Armstrong was more of a quality fabricated steel versus the type of what I would consider more of a pole-barn-style steel building that I didn't like. Also, their customer service was the most helpful and cooperative. I ended up going with the vendor of the building. Any questions I had, they were quick to respond whether it was email or phone call. They don't have any representatives in my area, so I went straight to Armstrong in Colorado. That is what drove the price to be so competitive. And I got the building I got. They gave me an inventory list, and they gave me five days to verify everything was shipped.

I'm very happy with the result. The only thing that I was not happy is that it takes too long for the engineer drawing. It was too much paperwork for something very basic. Also, I had to keep calling to push to the limit, to get the delivery. When the order was placed, to the time that the engineer drawing was done, it took too long. But at the end, I understand. It’s just step-by-step. Everything came out the way that it’s supposed to be. If somebody asked me, “Are you happy with the people that they made the metal building kit for you?” I would say, “Yes, I'm happy. I'm good. Everything came out good, but it takes a bit longer. That's the way that it's supposed to be.” If I have to do it again, I would do it with Armstrong.

I was looking for steel building and I found Armstrong on the internet. Their reps were pretty quick to respond if I had any questions, and they gave me all the information I needed. The only thing is they should send anchor bolts with these buildings when you buy them. That's one of the most major things to get the building up. As far as the materials, everything looks good.

What appealed to me about Armstrong Steel was their buildings. The quality of my purchase looks good to me. The only complaint that I have is that they didn't send me any anchor bolts with the building. I kind of have to find those myself.

I liked working with Armstrong. I had checked into a couple of companies, and they were not getting very good reviews. When I checked the reviews for Armstrong, they were much better than the other companies. Plus, they didn't have the kind of a bait-and-switch. The other companies were like, “Well, if you buy one that somebody didn't buy, I'll take $3,000 off.” That didn't work well for me.

It initially looked like Armstrong Steel's pricing was good. I didn't have any problems with the sales representative. I misunderstood a couple things, and so I had a little bit of a learning curve, but things went well. I was happy.

Armstrong Steel was extremely difficult to work with. They took money from me because there were some things I didn't ask for and they included them. They want to charge me $5,000 but then told me that it was their mistake. They were just gonna cut that in half for me and I said that I still didn't want to pay it. I'm not interested in this. Because I wasn't interested, they still charged me a 25% fee to take that thing which I never wanted off.

The guy doing my erecting said there are no gutters, no trim for all of our nine roll-up door openings, and no eve trim anywhere on the building. That's a lot of steel. They would have noticed that they didn't get those on the truck. That doesn't make any sense to me. Then they had a policy that they got to set up those in four days. The erector was trying to figure out how he would do that with all that's missing. I told him that he's got to find a way to handle it as I got a million things going on. I want to get what I paid for. 26,000 square feet is quite a building and that’s a lot not to be in the shipment. He also said that if he was to unwrap all that tin and it’s a month before it ever gets put up, it would be exposed to the elements, getting some rust and dirt all over it and clay blowing on it. They don’t do that.

The sales rep's knowledge was very good. That helped out a lot. However, we did a steel building and there could have been better communication at all ends. Communication was key for me. The time frame, also. The time frame that Armstrong Steel gave me wasn't the real time frame, and they didn't explain it. They said it’s just ‘cause everything that was going on, it took longer. That's the only thing I heard of it.

We were looking for a building and we had honestly considered Tuff Shed. Then, my husband said, "What about a metal building?" We looked it up and found Armstrong Steel. This is a business project. We haven't erected the building quite yet and our contractor is still assembling the foundation and all of that kind of thing. We won't have this building up until the first week of May. The gentleman that's installing it for us though and building it has built these before, and he's assured us we're going to be very pleased with it so we're expecting that.

The sales representatives have been smooth. Not had hiccups. They've helped out whenever they could to move things faster. So far, we have received one out of two buildings that we have ordered. The building is being erected and everything seems to have worked out correctly. I'm happy. All in all, it's been very satisfactory. If I were to look for a building for a business in the future, I would definitely reach out to get a price quote from Armstrong Steel.

The drafting took a little longer than expected and they could let the customer be more aware of the process. Trish, the rep I was working with, told me how long the wait would be but she wasn't a follow-up person and it would have helped if she let me know. When I'm the one following up, it makes me feel like my project has been put aside for delay or on a back burner. Also, when I was following up multiple times and sending out emails, the response rate wasn't as effective. Communication can be improved. But other than that, the price is good and the work is amazing. Once I received the plans, I realized how much work it looked like.

I have an order in process with you now (#**). I've been VERY pleased with my Sales Associate, Otto, but since then things have not gone so well. I was originally told the design time would be about 2-3 weeks and AFTER I was assigned a project manager I was immediately told the design was going to take 6-8 weeks! This was very misleading by the company as I made my decision based on time of delivery. My major complaint is I've been BEGGING for some assistance on the base platform of the building so I can stay on schedule and get my concrete poured. Each inquiry has had the same response; "design will take 6-8 weeks". This change in time and lack of assistance is killing me!

I haven't heard from them since I got the delivery. I would think they'd call and say, “How’d it all go? Did delivery get there in time?” But they haven't even asked.

Armstrong Steel has good customer service, but they work on a high price. I was shopping around 'cause I went through a million-acre forest fire and lost everything. Their salesman called me back and offered me a good deal for some leftover stuff, and I took it based on price. I'm also a retired contractor, so I have a little experience with buildings. Overall, after the first glitch with the first salesman, it went good. Of all the people I worked with, Sue was the best. She was the most attentive and on the spot with my requests.

I liked Armstrong Steel's price and availability. We got a metal building for a business expansion. We haven't installed it yet. It seems good, but there was some parts and stuff that were missing. I sent them the part numbers and I haven't heard back yet on what we need to do to resolve it. It’s been a week and a half, so that process has been kind of drawn out and I haven't really heard much. A door and a few little miscellaneous things should have come in with the building, but they didn’t. Other than that, the experience has been good. The reps are very professional.

Ordering the building went great, delivery was a little tough personally due to the location of my building, but we got it handled and unloaded on schedule! The staff was friendly and made the ordering process go very fast and efficiently.

Armstrong Steel delivered for us a steel building for a workshop. We have not put it together yet but the quality is good. As far as communication, we got where we needed to be, but it wasn't as fluid as I was expecting. I would reach out and I wouldn't hear back. The follow through wasn't as good as I would have wanted it to be.

Armstrong gave me the best package for the price and things went perfectly with their sales rep. We're almost done with the set-up and the quality is excellent. I would buy another one from Armstrong if I need to.

I'm dissatisfied with my experience with Armstrong Steel. I bought the building in October and it's now March. I still don't have all pieces. They lied to me right out of the gate and they misled me with a quote. When I asked about doors and windows, they said, "You will do all that in the design phase." They were all energetic and excited to sell me the building. Then the moment I moved to the design phase, the cost of the building skyrocketed. It went from 13,000 to almost 22,000. That was just one door and one man door and no insulation.

Everything was good with my experience with Armstrong Steel. I had a couple of people that were a little pushy, but overall, pretty good. We got what we needed. I'd order from them again.

I bought a metal building for my shop from Armstrong Steel. The sales representative was great.

One of my buddies bought a couple buildings with Armstrong Steel. I also decided to pursue a 60 x 45 shop with them. There was a little bit of active communication with their reps and my experience with them was pretty good. But the delivery dates were kind of off by about three months. Originally, I was supposed to get the products by end of October or November, and I didn't get them until three weeks ago. I was getting the building delivered in Montana and I live in Colorado. So luckily, they had a light snow season, so it has all worked out. Other than than, they have a good product and it was still a good deal.

I had a pretty good experience with Armstrong Steel. My building was delivered to my house ready to put together. The one thing I wasn’t too thrilled about was having only 5 days to go through everything. Overall, I’m very happy with my building.

This is the best purchase I have made wherein I actually received more than my money's worth. Excellent combination of metallurgy and design. The people at Armstrong are great to work with. Easy going very professional. And they worked hard to get me the most for my budget. On the outside this building looks like most buildings (I bought a standard design) but on the inside, that is most definitely when you realize the difference. The only steel with a paint coating is the beams and the sheets. All other material is zinc or galvanized. Not the cheap primed in Red oxide junk. I don't know if they sale that stuff too. But do yourself a favor and don't get the primed. Because in no time it rusts and primer starts peeling, because no one follows the rules and paints it like advised. Who going to paint each and every purlin etcetera before installing.

We ordered and built an Armstrong building. The instructions were excellent and all the parts were there. The permitting process was a bit trying so check with your county before beginning the project. Need some special equipment if you are to assemble yourself.

The quality from Armstrong Steel has been good. But the last couple of pieces came out damaged. We rejected them two weeks ago. So the rep had to send them back. So, we're not done. I'm still waiting for the rest of the materials.

Armstrong Steel had local manufacturing and they had local offices, whereas a lot of the other options that I looked into were not Colorado based. But they were not that great to work with. They had some pushy sales tactics and they set me on this 30-day time crunch to get everything done. I submitted things to them then conveniently, they were out of the office. And by the time they submitted my paperwork, the 30 day thing had come through so they got a nice little 10% price increase.

Trish ** has been incredibly helpful in getting our project completed. Constant communication, timely responses, and honest answers about timing of various stages of the project have ensured Armstrong is part of the success of our multi-million dollar expansion. Thank you Trish!

Armstrong Steel delivered the product on time and it was what they said it was. Working with their team went fine as well but there was some poor communication on their part about some things that were promised and the time frames that they were promised in. When I looked at everything, it looked as if everything is as it should have been.

Armstrong was a pleasure to work with from start to finish. Building was engineered and quoted very quickly. Very accessible and helpful in the building process. Only had one issue which was resolved in a timely manner. Would gladly do business with them again.

With the full in-house, I don't have to do the engineering separately someplace else. My experience with Armstrong Steel in the past has been good and I think they do good. It's just that there has been the COVID stuff and everything else that's been going on. Some projects go smoothly, while some don't. There's always something. I have a project that hasn't gone smoothly from the start. Part of it was COVID and part of it was just delay. They delayed about a month and a half on engineering, so I'm behind on my schedule. I know it takes some time, but there was a beam that was misdelivered that didn't show up on time.

Armstrong Steel's sales representatives were helpful and the delivery was the day they said it was going to be. It was for our hunting camp and they’re putting a roof on it today. I'm a general contractor, so I put up a lot of metal buildings, and the quality of their product is very nice. But we had some metal that was bent wrong and I had to personally go to a place here in town to get some more bent. Armstrong sent some more, but it was about two weeks after we needed it.

We're a public health department and we are doing a building that we could use to store COVID-19 personal protective equipment and supplies. Armstrong popped up on Google first when I put in "steel buildings". I looked at two or three others and Armstrong seemed to have a really good reputation with others who have used them both in quality and delivery times. There was also the assurance that you would get the product and everything that was supposed to show up at a certain time would show up. And in fact, it has, with the exception of one item which was really out of their control.

When we were having an issue with the delivery, I got told what an incredibly difficult woman I was. Then when I talked to who I thought was the owner but ended up being her husband, he said, "Oh, she's got great customer service, so you must've been really difficult." It hurt my feelings because I was in panic and they were threatening to charge me $3,000 extra. Also, it's in the middle of a pandemic, which makes everything even harder. But the building itself is great and the engineering is wonderful. The price is good too. My problem is you waited, waited, waited for the engineering and them to do all their part, and then they shoved the delivery date down your throat. We're a building company and if you can't take it on that day, then you incur a huge cost.

I have a friend that works for another steel company and we were also dealing with other steel companies to see pricing and how quick people could get it to us. We ultimately chose Armstrong because it was comparable on pricing. However, there were some issues at the beginning. We were told one thing then a different thing happened. Originally, we were told that when we make the down payment, then we would get the permit drawings within a couple days after that. That's what takes a long time. You apply for the permits then it's gotta go through the county. After we did everything and the going back and forth, they said it was gonna take four to six weeks for the engineers to do the permit drawings.

I needed some quick pricing and Armstrong Steel had pricing available over the internet that was ballpark-ish that I could at least make an initial judgment of whether or not we were in the right money for the project. The process with Armstrong was okay. But it seemed like they shifted me to different people within their company quite frequently. So, it was sales and then onto budget management, and so on. So, I didn’t have one point of contact throughout the thing, which I did not like. But everybody I worked with was very friendly and to the point. So, I didn't have any issues with them. They were pleasant to work with.

I found Armstrong Steel on an internet search, and what we were looking for specifically was a non-traditional structure. We were looking for somebody to build us a custom structure and they had the capability of doing that and the promise to do it even before the time frame. However, there were a few hiccups. There were some deadlines that they set on themselves, and then they were the cause of the delay. But for the most part, they did a good job of getting it fixed quickly. It's not assembled yet but everything looks like it's gonna be just as good as anything I could have bought locally.

When we bought this place, there was an existing Armstrong building on it and we were happy with it. It was a metal building and I wanted to match the color of the siding with my barn, which was why we did that. Everything went like clockwork with the delivery. It was smooth. The building is up and I'm just waiting on a contractor to put the two large doors on. I've got everything in and for the Dutch doors on the front side, I'm just waiting for the hinges to come in on that. I built those doors myself. So, I've already got hay in it and the tractors.

I wanted a storage barn. I got Armstrong Steel to build my own little storage on my property. They told me I had everything to get my building permit, but I didn't have everything to get my building permit 'cause I needed a foundation thing. It would have been nice if they just put a thing on there that said, "You may have to get a foundation plan for your area." I didn't know that. There was also a little hiccup there where they put the connections for the roof purlins in the wrong spot. The computer should have caught that. But it is a good product. They used quality materials and everything was good. The price was good and the free shipping too. I was just a little overwhelmed by what had to go on. It cost a little bit more money than what I expected. But it all worked out in the end.

The Armstrong Steel representative tells you things. Sometimes they are true, sometimes not. I only had a window to get it delivered because I wasn't ready for it. The rep said, "Oh, we can deliver it whenever you want.". But that didn't happen. I'm still missing stuff. I never got the overhead doors and the doors. They keep telling me it comes from the manufacturer, but I haven't heard anything yet.

Armstrong Steel talked a big game in the beginning. I got my order but I'm not impressed with the company. There were signs all along the way that I should have paid attention closer to. I realized when it was too late to pull out that the company is a piece of crap. I had already given them the deposit which was non-refundable. Once they had the check, they ghosted. I never heard from them again.

The sales rep was easy to work with and the delivery went excellent. The material looks kind of thin but according to my specs I gave them, it should be okay. The primer that they put on it when they shipped it over was thin and it rusted that's why I'm painting it now. But for the price, it's good. I priced out different buildings and I was going more for cost because of my funds. It suits what I need.

Alexandra has been a pleasure to work with. Very intuitive and attentive to my every building need. I would highly recommend her for your project. You would be lucky to have her looking over your shoulder and making recommendations that would be in your best interest, not just a sale. Very professional and I give her 5 stars!

Armstrong Steel didn't tell me I had to go rent their equipment and load it, and I was gonna have to unload it all myself. I was trying to get the delivery rescheduled but they said, "No, can't do. This is the date that's set." Also, a lot of the information was not put in front of me before I purchased the building. I asked them for estimates on what it would cost to erect it and they gave me an estimate that was way low. They weren't very informative. The only thing they were informative about is, "We need money. We need money." It hasn't been worth a damn 'cause I haven't been able to erect the building. I still haven't got the insulation yet and I paid extra for that. It was coming from somewhere in South Carolina but I don't know where it's at or what's up with it. I don't have the number from the woman that called me back months ago. She said it would be six to eight weeks out.

Armstrong Steel appeared to be of better quality based on what I found. It was for a large shop building. I've had all the parts and pieces delivered. They're all stacked up and loaded and it looks like it has very good quality. I probably would have done more research before I bought this one and look harder at the competitor.

Three years ago, I started doing research on steel companies. Over the course of time, different companies were like, "If you're not gonna buy it this year, call us back next year." But once a year, Armstrong would call us back to ask if we were ready that year and if we wanted to talk some more. When we were finally ready to pull the trigger, we appreciated that Armstrong was still there. Their people were all good. We're working on a barndominium. The metal is done and we built a custom porch onto the metal structure. Armstrong provided the roofing so that it matches. Today, they are spraying waterproofing inside so that we can put drywall on the inside. Quality-wise, it looks great.

I went through a package setup with Armstrong Steel and then they contacted me. Purchasing the building was good. But it took us too long to offload it and then trying to get it inventoried in five days was not enough time for the size of the building that we had. We had some issues with pieces that were supposedly there that weren't there. We identified it and I talked to them a couple of times about it. But they said that I would have to buy it because I was outside the inventory window to file a claim. So they should have an Armstrong representative there that would know what every piece was and could help identify those for inventory purposes. So I would know that I was getting everything that I was supposed to get. Other than that, everything else with Armstrong was really pretty good. The contractor said it was one of the straightest steel buildings that he had ever erected. He was very impressed.

The price and the quality of the material made us to choose Armstrong Steel. I've never had a metal building like that before. I was looking at a couple other ones and they were really lightweight 2 x 2 or 2.5 x 2.5 steel, where this is welded I-beam steel. It's more like a commercial building. The original guy that I had talked to and got an estimate from left so I had another guy and that guy was like a young kid. He did not really meet my needs. He would not listen to me. I told him I needed to talk to somebody else 'cause he was not getting it.

It went pretty well with Armstrong Steel. They were by far the cheapest and they had the most efficient design and cost. The upfront cost made sense. There's a little bit extra I had to pay once we got all the extras like the garage doors and the installation that I wasn't aware of right away. But it all came out to where we wanted to spend money-wise for a 40x60 steel building for a garage. If something came up or they were needing something, it was a two-way communication other than everything getting sent to my junk mail. But I searched through that and made sure I got all the emails from them. I'm still waiting on the garage doors to show up. They said they were supposed to ship out tomorrow but I haven’t heard anything on those and I haven’t seen an email about them yet.

Armstrong Steel just delivered everything. From what I could tell, the pieces look good. I had some little issues with them on one change. But they have all been taken care of.

Armstrong's sales rep was great. I liked their pricing, and the delivery went well. We got everything done, reset on the truck, so he could take off and go. Everything was on time.

I went with Armstrong for the price and some of the secondary framing components were galvanized instead of red iron. The sales reps were great. I ordered some extra components and I had to put an add-on and that kinda got lost in the shuffle. But the primary building components all arrived on time. The other stuff showed up later. The quality in the materials was good. But it was a lighter building than I had anticipated. I had asked for a higher wind load rating and I don't think that was quite up to par as what I'd asked for. They substituted some of the bigger beams for some smaller little C-channel like purlin stuff for our main column. I bought heavier steel and replaced those columns on the end wall because they looked too light to me. Other than that, it was fine.

I had a problem with the concrete as far as some of the measurements. We had the columns up until we discovered that the measurements were off on the concrete. It all started out when I needed the blueprints and I didn't get those until the day that they poured the concrete. They didn't get the anchor bolts in correctly. So then they had to come and redo some of the concrete. They did that last Monday and then the wind’s been blowing. So we haven't been able to do anything. We're waiting for the weather to cooperate.

I wanted an all-steel building then I asked my ironworkers if Armstrong Steel is a good company, and they said that they're a great product. Everything is high-quality and I’m happy with it so far. The sales representatives were helpful. They were always there if I had any questions.

Jeff worked with me regarding a steel building on our Montana property. He was very informative and easy to work with. As it turned out, we were unable to implement the project this year. However, he was great about keeping it on file and checking up on me in the future. I'm looking forward to working with him and the folks at Armstrong Steel in the future.

She is very good, great understanding of the product and knowledgeable, delivers when she says she will. Answered all of my questions and was very helpful with insightful details.

Been working with Rick ** on a Barndominimum and super happy with the walkthrough help and whole process of getting this project going. This is all new to me and with so many companies I wanted to make sure I found a solid reliable company to work with here in Colorado.

Rick ** was quite responsive to my initial inquiry, in providing a quote and specs. So far, so good! The quote was better than I expected. I have not as yet ordered a building, but based on my initial impression, Armstrong will be my likely choice.

We had a guy that burned down the whole city block and our business was one of them. We're gonna stay local and we thought we bought a building, but the guy just took our money and ran, and never had the building. Then we decided to go with a bigger company that we knew we wouldn't get ripped off. We ordered in March and Armstrong Steel told us it was only gonna be eight weeks so we thought we would have our building by May but it ended up being in July. They could've improved on a little bit more in communication. We went through the product, counted it, and it all looked great quality. We haven't put the building up yet. We're working on the permits and just getting ready to start the foundation. Hopefully, in the next two weeks, we'll have that.

Armstrong's price was about right and with needing a building and all, I wanted to try a all-steel structure. We got a building lying out here on my ranch. We'll use it for putting a tall sidewall so we will put our camper, tractors and vehicles in it. Armstrong's reps gave us good information and answered the questions we needed. The only thing is when I first was getting it all figured out, I thought it was all steel in the building. I thought the doors kinda came with it, but it wasn't the way it was. Armstrong could give a little more information on the structure and the doors.

They’re a little bit more money, but they’re a larger company, well-funded and they build good products so I went with them. The rep that I talked to did a good job. Everything went fine.

Everything went good with Armstrong. The delivery was botched, so I could not unpack the unit and make sure that everything was there. Since I wasn't building it for a few months, hopefully when I get there to build it everything's there. That's about the only thing that I didn't care for. The interactions with them were good, but their response was, “We only have 72 hours to confirm the delivery.” What happened was they got here so late. I had eight guys there ready to unpack it and go through it all. There were employees of mine, they were gonna be in the area, but they all had to fly back. The delivery guy got delayed by 10 hours, so my guys were all gone. I was by myself to unload the truck. There was no way I can unpack all that and get back home by the next day. So, I was unable to do that.

Everything went pretty well with Armstrong. I got most of the answers to my questions. I tried to be a little bit thorough to know what I was getting into. This is the first building I've set up like this too, so that makes a difference. When they always sell, they always try to get the cheapest price, which is normal. But then I upgraded to collateral load, which I'm glad I did. It was on the paperwork that I get upgraded to three pounds per square foot. So far, everything fits together pretty good. All the main members seemed to go pretty good. The drawings are pretty good.

When trying to settle my father's estate, I needed an estimate only. Joseph V was very prompt about returning my phone calls, and gave me the information I needed, although he was pretty sure I was not going to purchase anything from him. Very Helpful company. If you ever need a good sturdy structure, I would highly recommend Armstrong Steel buildings.

I wanted a steel building. I didn't want a pole building. I went with Armstrong Steel because that seemed like the right thing to do at the time. But after I did, I'm painfully sorry about it now. I’m missing one sheet of the roofing and like five pieces of steel that go on the side of it. I gave their rep my number, told him to call me back so we can discuss this, and they just keep texting or sending me emails. They say that they did send the stuff. But if they sent it, then it should be here and it's not here. It’s been about three weeks since they delivered it.

We have had a number of metal Companies that we have worked with and by far we have enjoyed working with Dany. Well informed and very helpful in all areas. Always calling and Asking questions on follow up issues that would arise during the process.

Dani ** in particular was very response and knowledgeable. She made the process simpler and less confusing. She was detail oriented and followed up as promised. He attention to detail makes me feel a bit more comfortable working with Armstrong.

My realtor suggested I contact Armstrong Steel and I was connected to Dani **. She has help me understand the process with quick turn around on my drawings. It has been a good experience and I look forward to working with her in the future.

I like how the steel is built. I didn't want support beams in the middle. The I-beam construction is what I wanted to do. I talked to 15 different companies. I felt Armstrong Steel had the best customer service and best product for the price. The shipping went well. I received my steel in about seven weeks. It came sooner than I wanted. However, I had to tear the structure down because there are no instructions. I've never put one up before. How they show measurements and things like that, they were not specific as to where you measure from where. It's confusing.

I used Armstrong Steel for my garage. I haven't erected the building yet so I assume it's good because I've moved it. The representatives have been attentive and friendly. They seemed very professional and knowledgeable, and they were helpful. Laurel was very accessible during the process of doing the paperwork for the logistics piece that she was involved in. The only issue I had and I discussed it with them was the delivery of the building, where my house is and how it is situated geographically. It was a difficult delivery. And it wasn't until just before delivery that I became aware of the limitations on the person delivering the building which then had made me have to pick a secondary drop location. They need to be a little bit more upfront and clear about the restrictions or the limitations for people delivering buildings to sites that have challenges, like, windy driveways, steep inclines, narrow passages. That wasn't known until just before delivery for me.

Armstrong Steel is a terrible company. The first thing they did is the way they got me online. They did a Black Friday sale. So, it tells you you're almost gonna get $4,000 off. Based on that price, it comes out really cheaper than everybody else. When you do it, you don't really get the details of everything because they said, "Oh, project manager will give you the details of everything." When you sign up for it, on the bottom, it tells you, you have 30 days to figure out all the details to keep the Black Friday's pricing. So, I got that. Two weeks went by, there still was nothing. I did it on Black Friday, which was around Thanksgiving.

We were looking for some possible expansion opportunities and Armstrong Steel seemed like a good deal at the time. There was good communication and it all went pretty well. There wasn't any major hiccup. The quality seems pretty good so far.

I liked Armstrong Steel's price and the way that the buildings were made and the material that they were made out of. I am building a barndo. The quality of steel is good. The barn is up, and I have no complaints except one. On the final drawings, I said I caught where my threshold on my door was even with the bottom of my window seal in the kitchen, which I sent the plans to. They said, “Oh, I think it’s just like that in the drawing.” It wasn't. My window is supposed to be above my kitchen sink and it goes all the way to the floor. So we are having to redo the whole plan of the building to drop the floors. That is the only complaint though, and I didn’t point that out. Now, it's gonna cost me a little bit more money in the long run. Other than that, I worked with Trish who was absolutely amazing. Even though there was a little screw up, I would highly recommend Armstrong. I just would tell the next person, “Just make sure."

Working with Conner was Refreshing. He was Professional, knew and answered all of our questions and concerns. He was quick to get back with us and Offered a GREAT Product at a GREAT Price. We were not able to purchase for the simple fact our Contractor, Family and others were Solidly Booked and had no one to help facilitate the Erection of the Building to fit our Time Table for this year. Conner did offer Solutions but did not work out for our Situation. Conner is an ALL in Professional, it was a pleasure working with him and will DEFINITELY Refer him!

We had worked with Armstrong Steel before on other projects. They're competitive. They've built a building for us, an outbuilding for storage, and they built us a mezzanine. Everything went together well, and it all looks well-painted and well-manufactured. The reps from Armstrong Steel are polite. Sometimes, during the COVID, it was hard to get with anyone because people were not in the office. But when they're available, they're fine.

I knew I wanted a steel building for our 5th wheel trailer, but didn't have a real firm idea of what I needed. I filled out the on line quote request and Jeff ** called me promptly and helped me get a firm idea of what I needed. I have some other things to consider, like what all I want the building to be, and have put the building purchase on hold for now. But Jeff was very helpful and I did not feel any pressure to put money down before I really knew exactly what I wanted. Jeff is easy to work with and is very helpful.

Had an excellent discussion with Eric S. at Anderson Ref. a steel building I was jobbing. Prompt, courteous, great to work with. Estimated building for the snowy north, specific to our region. Excellent price. I've kept his number handy. They have job manager who will work with you on specifics & question when you construct. They have access to all the doors/etc. or you can sub them out. Recommend them.

Armstrong Steel was recommended to me by another colleague and I used them for a personal machine shop. I don’t have it erected yet, but from what I have seen, I have no complaints. The purchase went pretty smooth.

I had the pleasure of working with Jim ** at Armstong over the past 6 weeks. He took me step by step through design of the steel building I was looking for. I had many questions and those he couldn’t answer he was quick to get back to me with a follow up. At no time did I feel pressure during the process. Because we live in Alaska freight cost was a big concern. Ultimately I have decided to build a wood structure to save on costs. Great guy to work with.

I live in Colorado and Armstrong Steel is made in Colorado. So, I was able to go down and look at their plant and see how their steel buildings were made. They're great up until they get your downpayment and you can't back out of it and then they disappear on you. I asked them to deliver it on the 1st of May and it actually showed up the second week of February. It was really hard to get in contact with anybody or get anything fixed. So, it was very frustrating. The building seems to be great but their customer service is terrible.

I found that Armstrong Steel was a pretty good product, so I went with it. It looked like it was a substantial construction. And the cost was about right for this product. I'm going to build a garage and I received all the steel but the garage door but they're gonna deliver it this week. The quality of the product is fine. Their rep was informative and he helped guide me through the process. Then, five other people were involved, one with the purchasing of it, another to attain the engineering and calculations for the building. Then, another person to schedule delivery and then, the final one was an individual who tracked it for us to tell us when it would arrive.

I like Armstrong's price and that they were close to us in Denver. The first building we ordered was for a girl's dorm at a church camp. We've purchased from them three times so far. The first building has been delivered. We're just waiting for the foundation to be poured. My biggest problem with Armstrong is that none of the dates that I was promised ever came through. The second building I'm supposed to have was ordered six months ago, and nobody keeps me in the loop as to when it's gonna be. I wish I had not ordered the third one from Armstrong. The people were okay. I was dealing with Trish, and she was trying, but somewhere up the line, Armstrong kept dropping the ball on this. Trish was working from home a lot and the phone system was messed up. So, I don't blame her so much for that. But I was told that they'd deliver the building in three months and the first one took six months. The second one is going on seven months.

I looked at a bunch of different sites and saw that Armstrong Steel is a little better built and their pricing was decent too. Getting the pricing was good. Past that, it was a challenge to get it engineered and everything done right. It was a little hard to get somebody to call me and it seemed like I had to call them. But I did an alfalfa barn and the quality of the product looks pretty good. The sales rep also seemed pretty knowledgeable about everything, could answer my questions.

We priced at some other steel building companies but we went with Armstrong Steel because they said they'd deliver on time and because of their price. Armstrong Steel delivered it on time. It’s all just staged right now but everything looks okay.

Armstrong Steel contacted me after I put out that I wanted quotes from a bunch of steel companies. I’m still building the foundation. The building’s sitting on the ground with the insulation. I’m just trying to get the permits through but working with the county sucks. On their site, Armstrong should just say, “Working with the county of your local jurisdiction is gonna suck way more than just buying the build.” The building was the easiest process.

Had been seeking information from another steel building company but they'd not work with me until I'd secured the lands I've been seeking, Whereas Armstrong would and did. I've been working with Chris **, and information and sample stick building designs come very quickly, which gives me a model to work with but also then a price quote for budgeting the project I'm working on, which is a house to be constructed within an all steel building, thus a sound and bug resistant exterior. Goal is to create a Victorian Design but very fire resistant, as area I'm seeking property is prone to wild fires. But also seeking a well insulated house where I can then build the interior walls to the designs for door and windows fitting to the Armstrong design.
