I had my system go out completely. I thought it was the entire inverter that maybe needed to be replaced. I contacted NRG via message to request assistance, and was reached out to by Shelley. I had a wonderful experience working with Shelley. She provided me with all of the assistance I needed and some tips that ended up saving me a ton of money trying to replace something that was not broken. Shelley was a pleasure to work with, kept in touch throughout the whole process, and followed up after the issue was fixed. Thank you Shelley!

Shelley at NRG is a absolute professional who helped me navigate the complex process of uninstalling the existing solar panels, reinstalling, and then submitting paperwork to city planning. Beyond her expertise, she was incredibly empathetic and accommodating. I was juggling the arrival of a new baby while working on this project, and Shelley was exceptionally patient with my delayed responses. Her guidance made a stressful process manageable.

I've been very impressed with NRG from initial consultation to activation. Alberto ** has especially been helpful during the permitting phase. He kept me informed and communicated well with me when we had issues with PG&E and our permits. We got through with this eventually, and Alberto coordinated efforts with others within NRG. I'm looking forward to enjoying the benefits of our battery back up system and eventually will install solar panels once the roof is replaced.

I recently went solar with NRG Clean Power for my home here in California, and overall, I’m really glad I chose them over some of the national "big box" installers. It wasn’t a flawless, hands-off process from start to finish, but the end result is a high-quality system that is already wiping out my utility bill. Here is my honest take on the good, the bad, and what you should actually expect.

After over a year, we finally got our system installed - incorrectly. The backup batteries were not connected correctly and we've been trying to get them to come back out and fix for two months. I now get no response from my sales rep or customer service. Now the loan is coming due and only half of my system is installed. Please do not use this company!! There are so many other companies to choose from.
