This process includes preparing the roof, installing the mounting system, placing the panels, installing wiring and setting up the inverter. When these tasks are complete, your system will be ready to activate. 

For solar battery storage installation, Current Home uses Tesla Powerwall, which comes with a rechargeable lithium-ion battery that offers about 13.5 kilowatt-hours (KWh) of energy (7kW at peak and 5 kW of continuous power). The company says it's best to install solar batteries inside your home (not outside).

Tesla Powerwall can work in tandem with an existing generator. First, the Powerwall will go on in the event of a power outage. Once its charge is run or consumption exceeds stored capacity, the electrical load automatically shifts to your generator.
