Moheb **. I am extremely happy with AMECO Solar, they install my system in 35 days only from the date I signed contract. Excellent customer service. Amazing sales rep James. He's very efficient answering my question and returned my phone promptly. Also Travis CU very efficient and fast. The field rep IVAN was very helpful and the installer crew was very hard worker from 8am to 7 or 7:30 pm. In general AMECO staff that I worked with they are super STARS, extremely fast answering any question and reply to my email with every detail promptly. They compete with other solar comp. with latest materials in market, I am strongly recommend them.

Ameco has a great team and we were very happy with the service and expertise they provided. Stan did an excellent job managing the entire project and keeping everything on track. James was fantastic during the planning process, took time to explain everything, make sure we understood our options and were getting the best system to fit our needs. The whole team was professional, responsive, and easy to work with. Highly recommended!

We had an outstanding experience with Ameco Solar & Roofing from start to finish. Before installing solar panels, we decided to replace our aging asphalt shingle roof, and the Ameco team made the entire process incredibly easy and stress-free. They handled everything, including helping us obtain approval from our HOA architectural committee and coordinating all the necessary city permits. Their communication was excellent throughout the project, and they kept us informed every step of the way.

I want to start by saying our installation was bumpy, which is why I think they deserve the 5 stars.

Ivan from Ameco was the person overseeing the project. He was very helpful on every aspect of the project. He was prompt in answering all of my questions and concerns. He was able to get my solar panels faster than I expected. He was easy to communicate with via phone call, text, and email. The rest of the staff at Ameco was so kind and helpful. The price of the panels were beyond reasonable. I interviewed 4 other companies and in the end, they have the best reassurance. I recommend them to anyone who wants solar. I recommended my cousin to Ameco as well.

Ameco Solar and Roofing did a great job once permits cleared. The installation was smooth and timely. Jason ** in sales was incredible — hours of help and walked me through the 30% federal tax credit. Carol in customer service spent so much time explaining the Powerwall and app. Project Manager Ivan kept everything on schedule. Inspector Christian was thorough and courteous. Installers were skilled and respectful. The crew left both gates wide open and left some installation debris in the yard. A final sweep and securing the property would make it perfect. Very pleased. This company and its employees have been outstanding from start to finish. They listened to my needs to help design the perfect system. They were always quickly available when I had questions. They were proactive when explaining how recent govt changes could be dealt with. The installation was quick, on time and very professional. They even matched my house paint to help hide the conduits. I am working now with Stan who takes complete care of me and has sent many communications to keep me in the loop. I highly recommend this company because of its people and look forward to enjoying and growing into the solar system.

Received excellent support for the start up and software program tutorial from Tigran at Ameco solar. Looking forward to using my solar energy storage to eliminate my energy usage from the power company. But the power co's NEM 2.0 requirement, creates new income stream to offset income lost to solar, yet again residential customers continue to pay for growing standby & delivery chrgs & once quiet dandelion-like growth for massive data centers all over our beautiful country that the power cos in every region & state quietly support through shared data center construction costs.

We weren't sure what to expect, as selecting a solar company was a confusing process with information overload and aggressive phone marketing. We chose Ameco because they were knowledgeable, well priced, and not pushy with sales. And what a great experience! We have been consistently impressed with the quality of the plans, responsiveness of staff, and overall high competency experience. Shout outs to Robert in sales for helping us save a lot of money with a tax rebate, and to PM Carol for helping us navigate decisions and installation steps with calm and kindness!

Had a great experience with Ameco Solar. One of my microinverters unfortunately had to be replaced, but it was still under warranty, so the part itself was covered. I did have to pay a service fee for them to come out, but everything was explained clearly upfront. Their team responded quickly and scheduled the service without any hassle. They showed up on time and fixed everything fast. Overall, really solid and professional service—I appreciate how smooth they made the whole process and would definitely recommend them.

Ivan and the crew from AMECO Solar were very knowledgeable and professional during the whole Solar install process. They answered all my questions and gave me weekly updates throughout the whole process. We had a power outage in Hermosa Beach and my Tesla Battery kicked on and I didn’t even notice. Great experience using Ameco. Everything was done very professionally, from talking to their Sales Consultant (Adar) with regards to the many questions like costs, materials, warranty and timing, to the project managers (like Stan B) about phases, permits, solar operationing instructions and lengthy delays (on my end - thanks to PGE's power line only 3"s below my driveway cement which was being replaced before roof project was starting), to the workers getting work done with quality and efficiency.

Ameco installed my solar system 2 years ago, and I’m very happy with the system. I had a series of recent questions regarding some additional services and possible modifications to my system. Tigran, in customer service was able to promptly and completely answer all my questions, I also recently had one micro inverter go bad, I notified customer service, Tigran responded, and I was very pleased with how fast they got the part approved for replacement by the manufacturer and then sent a technician out to get the repair made.

I have used AMECO twice for two of my homes and I am very happy with their service and products. I highly recommend them and will hire them again for my next project.

I've purchased solar before, and the only reason I didn't go with the previous vendor is because Ameco offered me super products at a better price. I was suspicious of the offer, but with the company being in business so long with an A+ BBB rating, I didn't think I could go wrong. Boy did I. Once I signed the contract, I had several delayed install dates, miscommunication with their sub-contractor - people literally showing up at my door to install unannounced with no materials on site. Then, when the sub-contractor and materials did show up, they were drinking on the job. The project lead had the nerve to come to my door at the end of the day, and the smell of beer blasted me.

Ameco is the worst company I have ever dealt with. In July 2025 I started solar today March 6th 2026. Still have not been completed. The electric company Silicon Valley power has said they showed up at my home and Ameco was no where in site. So I have been waiting 8 months paying full price for electricity. Whatever you do DO NOT HIRE AMECO FOR YOUR SOLAR NEEDS!!!! If you want a company that will ignore you, then Ameco is your company.

Ameco Solar provided an incredible sales consultation, and was able to give me the most affordable quote for the solar system I've purchased. They are the only solar installer I know with the Price Match Guarantee, and they've honored it even after I've signed the contract. My project has been fully completed last year, on time and with high quality workmanship. Support team is excellent and very helpful.

After opening a ticket for a question regarding the Tesla App and our solar system, I heard back the same day from Tigran, Ameco's tech guy, who thankfully resolved my question the next day, within 24 hours.

I had Ameco install 19 solar panels almost 5 years ago. Last Wednesday I called the 1800 number to inform them my micro inverter is no longer working. Tigran from Ameco reached out the next day and placed the part order with Enphase for me as I was under warranty. Once I received the parts I informed him and he scheduled a tech to come out and install the part. Whole process took less than a week. Thank you Tigran for the great service and ensuring my panels are working. Great service and I’m glad to be a Ameco customer.

We originally worked to get our solar installed and after the initial paperwork, it took months of following with both Ameco and SCE so that it could get permitted. It's frustrating to have to be the one to follow-up with both entities when each just keep pointing at the other as the reason for delays. We then paid for 6+ months of solar panels with them not generating any power due to the lack of prompt set-up.

I want to sincerely thank the loyal and dedicated team at Ameco Solar. Every person I interacted with was exceptionally helpful, professional, and friendly. It was refreshing to speak with real people instead of automated systems, and no question I asked—no matter how basic—was ever dismissed. Whenever there was a delay or question, I could easily reach someone by phone, email, or even text. The staff maintained constant communication throughout the process, which gave me peace of mind.

I was having trouble with my Powerwall not charging and they diagnosed and fixed the problem quickly and efficiently.. The problem turned out to be that I had signed up for the virtual power plant so the generated electricity was going to the grid instead of my battery.

Tigran from Ameco Solar worked very hard for me to get my Solar up and running after we purchased a home that had non-functional solar panels. We needed a part that the supplier was back ordered on and he followed up both with the supplier and me frequently which is why I’m sure we got the part faster than many others. He then went a technician to install the next day. This was all within the bounds of the warranty on the system so Ameco and Tigran weren’t even doing this for the money, but just to restore functionality to their install. I also received text and email follow up and support for technical issues.

Good experience overall. Good communication while the purchasing stage, the sales manager is good at explaining and communicating and is very responsive and helpful to answer questions. The installation was smooth, everything went as planned, the work is done in good shape. After the equipment was installed, the system was well monitored and issues was resolved in a timely manner. I had a roof issue and wifi connection issue with the gateway, and I was able to get helped and issues resolved.

After searching couple solar companies, my husband decided to go with Ameco Solar based on good reviews with highly recommends. We deposited the first $1,000.00 to Ameco for the drawing plan and get the city permit on 09/2024. Ameco requested us the second payment 13K before setting up for schedule installation in October. We paid Ameco 13K, they emailed us and cancelled the installation due to short Tesla battery. We have been waiting for them to reschedule the new installation date and keep contacting them so many times until January 2025. My husband contacted to Ameco manager, they scheduled for installation late January and demanded for the third payment almost 17K without solar materials delivery.
