On January 6, 2022, I stopped at Rite Aid Pharmacy in Derby New York to pick up a prescription that was ready. When told them there was new insurance and gave them a letter from insurance company that stated "Until insurance cards arrive, please use this letter to verify that the individual is insured". I presented letter and some women said I would need card. The pharmacist never bothered to read letter from insurance company. The people were extremely rude, and it was an inconvenience to fix this for a patient. I was informed that would take care of this when they had time. I would think this is not how a patient should be treated when when giving business to a Rite Aid Pharmacy. I would have waited for the prescription but they would not even give me a time that it would be ready.
On July 5, 2021, I purchase an eBay gift card for $200 and found out the card did not have any money on it and was used July 4, 2021, before I even purchase the card. I got this information directly from eBay and they told me to tell RiteAid to return my $200 because this card was no good if I purchase a gift card that was used before I purchased it. eBay gave me Ref # ** and told me to give it to Rite Aid and ask for Rite Aid to reach out to eBay to let them know that the card is no good. Rite-aid management refuses to call eBay and refund my $200. I call the police and contacted eBay again to let them know Rite Aid will not refund my $200. eBay had me file a complaint with IC3 and also send me an email for me to give to Rite Aid asking them to refund my money and to file a complaint against Rite Aid. I gave the email to Rite aid on July 6, 2021, and Rite Aid still refuses to refund my $200.
First off.. if I could give them ZERO stars I would... but I have to click on at least 1. I recently walked into what I thought was my local Bartells Pharmacy on 6th Ave. in Tacoma only to find out when I went to pick up my husband's monthly $22 prescription, it had gone up to $88 because I was now purchasing it from RITE AID... I had no idea they bought Bartells (I don't follow the news much).. but to be SHOCKED with such a HUGE increase in pricing for a GENERIC medication for a mere 28 tablets is a total RIP OFF. It's funny how one pharmacy charges $8... another $22.. and now Rite Aid $88 .. I will never step into that store EVER again,, will NEVER go to a RITE AID pharmacy.. and will go back to driving 14 miles away to get the same $88 scrip for $8 from CostLess.... Rite Aid is a Rip Off!!!
Rite Aid Pharmacy Located on 580 Bailey Rd Bay Point Ca 94565 has the worst service. I’ve been a long time customer but had to look for more reliable Pharmacy! Don't tell your customer to come back multiple times to pick up their Rx.., and there shouldn’t be an issue because it’s only a refill and not even a controlled medication.
If I could give Rite Aid 0 stars, I would. I paid for my daughter's prescription 2 weeks ago, but they didn't have everything in stock, so I was told to come back today. Then, today they tried to charge me AGAIN for what I had already paid for. When I became upset, they had the nerve to lecture me on "being respectful" when it was THEM who were horrifically disrespectful. NEVER GO TO RITE AID. THEY CANNOT BE TRUSTED.
My experience: Having been alerted weeks ago (Jan 13, 2021) that RiteAid pharmacies in the San Francisco Bay Area had appointments available for those 65+ for the first of the two Covid-19 vaccinations, I jumped at the opportunity that same day. It's a good thing, for the slots at various RiteAid locations disappeared very quickly. I was willing to drive anywhere and thus ended up going to one of the 2 locations in Antioch, CA, about 30 miles away, even though a RiteAid is located within walking distance of my home. Meanwhile and for safekeeping, I also tried to apply through the Contra Costa County, Safeway, and Muir Medical Group, of which I am a member. I persisted - (telephone, email, websites) and never heard back from any of those providers.
Yesterday, I received my 1st vaccination at the Antioch location at 20 East 18th Street (store #05908). I did not feel safe or comfortable. When I entered, some customers were not wearing masks, which should have been an omen. The store is relatively small, and the pharmacy was situated in the back. The area in which the vaccinations were being administered was directly adjacent to the pick-up line for medications, and there was a long line with customers not necessarily observing social distance. I expected to be ushered into a private room, as my friends had been who had been inoculated at other RiteAid locations. Instead, I had to sit in one of two chairs in close proximity to each other - and furthermore SURROUNDED by others as I awaited the shot. No space, no privacy.
After 15+ minutes, a technician appeared. She briefly explained the procedure, although I had trouble understanding her due to a language barrier. When I asked her a few (what I felt) were routine questions, she seemed unwilling or unable to answer them, anxious to move on. When I voiced a complaint about the lack of privacy and social distancing among others, she responded with "it's always crowded here" and dismissed me. She told me to remain in my seat for 15 minutes (standard operating procedure) but didn't bother to check on my condition. I left the store, feeling grateful that I had succeeded in getting vaccinated in the first place, overcoming the challenges of making my way through the chaotic system.
I have tried to re-schedule my 2nd appointment for the shot that will occur at the same location. I personally visited the pharmacy of a close-by RiteAid store and was told it had no ability to alter appointments. I contacted the Corporate RiteAid customer service department and was informed that no central phone number existed by which I could change my appointment. Instead I was directed to the website of the County Health Offices and to the original email address by which I booked the appointment (neither option worked). I have filed a written complaint.
The Rite Aid on Chicago in Riverside is unsafe to shop in. Transients sit in front of the doors!! The guard sits on a cart on his phone oblivious to the surroundings! If you call no will ever answer the phone in the pharmacy! Moreover they could care less.
I stopped using CVS because of constant issues and went straight to RiteAid. My prescription is always ready when I call to refill and the employees are courteous.
The pharmacist looks for the best deals on our prescriptions so if there are coupons that will make them cost less than our insurance she uses them to bring down our costs. Plus they are fantastically
I have been with Rite Aid 14 yrs, and they saved me money by suggesting my prescriptions be filled for a 3 month period. Also been extremely helpful with question, concerns, and contacting my Doctor!
I have been going to my local RiteAid since it opened some 15 years ago. They always have what I'm looking for. The shelves are always stocked and easy to find. The pharmacy tech know me by name....
RiteAid's location is casually ok, but not great compared with CVS being more comfy when entering. Few pharmaceuticals within logically are not that friendly which lowers my interest within.
Rite Aid pharmacists (in Lee, NH) have always been very professional, helpful, informative, and efficient. That store also has some of the best clearance sales I've ever come across at any Rite Aid.
Last of the old time pharmacies. Still make compound drugs. Delivery. Bill once a month. Have about everything in a small store. Great customer service!
I have an uncommon medication that I use daily. Rite Aid orders my prescription ahead of time then they text me when it's ready for pick up. This way, I never miss a dose.
Aisles are organized; sales associates are available and knowledgeable and check out is a smooth transaction. Rx can be picked up/dropped off at a drive thru. Stress free experience.
RiteAid pharmacy is the only pharmacy I have used in the last 10 years. All employees, and especially the pharmacist make all their customers feel like family. I know I will always get great advice.
We have been with them for several years now and have been satisfied with the services that we receive with them. We have taken advantage of the services provided and it works for us.
Even though Rite Aid is a big store, I always get a small store feeling. I like that. So much to choose from and a high degree of professionalism, but never impersonal.
I use Rite Aid because it is close to home and my insurance recognizes it as preferred. The pharmacist are friendly and helpful. It isn't a large pharmacy so occasionally they have to order my refills.
I haven’t used them to fill prescriptions just to buy non prescription items, so I don’t know how they would compare with CVS or Walgreens pharmacies, neither of which I would recommend at all.
The pharmacy that I go to at RiteAid is exceptional. The pharmacist always answers my question and I can rely on him and his advice. The service is always fast, it’s professional.
I like my local RiteAid where I get Wellness points that provide discounts on later purchases, and it has an ice cream counter, and friendly staff.
Staff is usually somewhat friendly but uninterested and unengaged. Like they just don’t care. It’s best not to need anyone who works there unless it’s a question about where something is.
Whenever I need a prescription filled, my local Riteaid pharmacy helps me quickly and makes things easy for me. They are very friendly and professional. They have convenient hours.
Though I've moved from the area in which this pharmacy is located, I continue to utilize their services. Over the years a comfort level developed based on their extraordinary staff and service.
Friendly staff, helpful pharmacy staff (fast fill times, great communication, offer to deliver meds for free in times of COVID, etc.), great supply of everything you could need, from liquor to food!
They typically fill my prescriptions with no issues. The Rite Aid in my neighborhood only carries $5000 worth of medicine in their pharmacy. Certain meds have to be ordered which is a pain.
So sad most of them have/are closing or being bought by Walgreens. Rite Aid was my go-to over the other competing pharmacies (CVS/Walgreens).
The store is well designed, well stocked and all employees are very helpful. The pharmacists are exceptionally helps at all times. I have also taken advantage of their Redi-Clinic.
