We purchased a big bag of Rachel Ray's dog food with no chicken and it does. All her products have some sort of poultry in it and my dogs can't have and they won't eat it anymore. They just lost interest. We can't get them to eat it. We put stuff in to entice them but no. They just don't like it.

Currently sitting in the parking lot of my vet waiting on my dog to get IV fluids. My dog has been on RR nutrish for a while but recently it has been hurting her stomach leading to diarrhea and bloody stool. After reading the reviews I can see this is an ongoing issue that needs to be addressed before people's pets dies because of their food.

Unfortunately this food caused quite a few health issues for my little pup. Nonstop bloody diarrhea and occasional vomiting. We had several vet visits and they could not find anything wrong. As soon as we changed food brands at the recommendation of another vet, the problems started resolving themselves. I feel whatever formula they are using is not good for dogs' digestive system at all. Save your pup and yourself the heartache and pass on this brand please!!

My dogs had been eating Nutrish for a couple months. They probably need to take a better look at quality control. This last bag has made 1 dog vomit every time & she can’t eat it at all. The other dog only will eat it if he is starving… idk what happened. But I can’t take a chance & I'm not going to buy this dog food anymore.

I started transitioned my service dog/fur baby on Rachael Ray Nutrish chicken and vegetable in September 2024. Shortly after he started throwing up. It wasn't everyday at first. Over the last 2 months he has been throwing up almost everyday. I could tell that he has lost weight. I took him to the vet 3 weeks ago. The vet said that this food isn't good quality food. My Henry has lost 15 pounds. The vet has me start him on a bland diet. Henry will not eat now. I have done research on the companies who have owned Nutrish which has been sold numerous times in the last several years. This is what the FDA said. We also want to alert readers to the fact that, in late June 2019, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) identified Rachael Ray Nutrish as one of 16 pet food brands that may be linked to heart disease in dogs and cats. Apr 25, 2020. The previous companies have been sued.

If I could give it zero stars I would. My Yorkies have also showed signs of the bloody watery messy poo. My youngest also with the vomiting and was taken to the vet. A shot to stop the vomiting and anti-diarrhea meds as well as a bland home made diet per vet instructions. Started to return to the food and it happened again this morning. So furious this crap is on the market with the amount of complaints I've seen. I'm upset with myself for not doing a deep dive on the dog food after the vet visits and clear test results.

My Lhasa Apso almost died from Rachel Ray Nutrish Beef, Pea and brown rice recipe. His dog groomer first noticed purple lesions on his body when cutting his hair. My dog was also extremely itchy like never before.I took him took the vet and was told it was allergies due to the time of year (Spring). The vet gave him an allergy shot and it seemed to get better but never cleared completely up. The vet told me that he would require an injection every 30 days until allergy season was over. My Lhasa Apso was 6 years old and never previously had allergies of any kind. After another 30 days the lesions were back in full force but now he was vomiting blood with bloody diarrhea. I took him to a different vet that did a blood test. The blood test came back that his red blood cells were very low. The vet kept him overnight and gave him steroids.
He called me the next day after a 2nd blood test that showed his red blood cell count had dropped to 0. He told me to come get my dog and take him to the animal hospital immediately as he feared he may not make it through the night. I took him to the animal hospital and their blood test showed the same 0 red blood cells. They hooked him up to 2 IV's and gave him steroids and **. They told me he may have to have a blood transfusion. After 3 nights in the hospital they told me his condition was improving. They sent me home with oral steroids and **. They told me to take him back to the vet within a week for another blood test. His condition was still improving but would require blood testing weekly for the next few months. His condition steadily improved and no one could tell me why this happened to him and that it appeared that he was poisoned by something.
Needless to say, I stopped feeding him Rachael's poison and started feeding him Dr. Pol's. This started over a year ago and he is still on ** and I only have to have his blood tested every 2 months. $12,000 later and I learned a hard lesson. Thank god my best friend is doing well. Please DO NOT feed your dog Rachael Ray's dog food!

I don’t usually leave reviews but I felt obligated to leave one about the Rachael Ray chicken and veggie recipe. I tried it for my 2 dogs, a husky and a small terrier mix. Well, for one they weren’t interested in it at all (and my husky is a little piggy, she‘ll eat anything, but not this) and when they did finally eat it, my husky has had diarrhea in the house for 3 nights (just from one bowl) and now my terrier is having bloody diarrhea and vomiting. I purchased the Rachel Ray Nourish wet food because it was on sale at Publix and I only feed my maltipoo puppy food with human grade ingredients, like Cesar or Freshpet so I thought this would be a good fit for her. Within 30 minutes of eating this food, she went from her normal happy puppy self to whining, laying around, and not moving much as if she feels awful. I found this site by searching online to see if other people had the same problem after feeding their pets this stuff. Now I feel awful because my poor puppy is obviously miserable and I am throwing out the other packs I bought. There's something wrong with this food and this company needs to be shut down for selling something that they know is causing dogs to get sick. I'll never buy another one of her products and just pray my puppy feels better soon.

DO NOT BUY THIS FOOD. My dog can normally eat anything and everything without getting sick. I'm talking salsa, chocolate cake and huge chunks of meat fat. He has never gotten sick from switching dog foods. After a few days of this food he had awful bloody poo and had to be taken out 10+ times a night. He was howling when he pooped and straining to poop more small clots of blood out. The vet did some expensive tests and said it was probably just an upset stomach. I gave him chicken and rice for a few days and he got better. Since he felt better, I switched back to this food and he was immediately sick again hours later. I switched to a different dog food and now he's fine. Has anyone had success contacting the FDA about this? I'd like to get the food tested in a lab to see what's in it.

Just no way she knows or cares about dogs!! I ran out of a regular dog food and had to run in a retail store grocery store and buy some dog food so I thought the best choice was going to be Rachael Ray. Boy was I wrong. Every bit of what my dog ate came out the other end with 30 to 45 minutes. It was all soft. It messed up his bowels. He is trained and had to go in his crate. That says a lot. Having such a low bar product on the shelves angered me to know when and it angered me that my dog's system was messed up for for three days. Shame.

We started feeding Rachael Ray's Just 6 a few years ago for the simple fact it contained minimal ingredients and it was affordable. Early on our dog did fine with it but apparently it was discontinued and our next order came in labeled as NUTRISH (9 simple ingredients). By doing a bit of research we found out the company was under new ownership and obviously the formula had changed. Now it was EXTREMELY TOXIC and our dog was suffering with EXPLOSIVE DIARRHEA, PROJECTILE VOMITING, DEHYDRATION and was overall SICK AS HELL.
After 2600.00 in vet bills she was diagnosed with SEVERE PANCREATITIS. The same as the others in the previous reviews. We took her off commercial dogfood altogether and now feeding her a homemade diet. She appears to have made a full recovery. Hopefully Rachael Ray's TOXIC CONCOCTION hasn't caused permanent damage to our dog's digestive system. DON'T FEED YOUR DOG THIS POISON AND SPREAD THE WORD.

Our 6 y/o lab has been on Rachael Ray's for almost 2 years. Several months ago he started getting very sick. Non stop bloody stools, loss of control in bowels and bladder because of so much diarrhea. He was literally having blood dripping from his rectum. We went to the vet, ran tests, gave Several different rounds of medicine to try to help him. We were at the end and vet suggested to put him down because his quality of life was so miserable. We swore it couldn't be the food (vet suggested it was a possibility) because he's always been sensitive and Rachael rays until that point had been just fine.
To try to soothe his stomach we cooked fresh chicken and rice for him every day for 2 weeks. He finally started to improve. We decided to slowly add back his kibble hoping the stomach issues had time to settle and he was going to be ok.. But immediately after adding the kibble within hours he was passing bloody liquid stool non stop the entire night. It took him a week of more chicken and rice to get him solid again. The vet has determined it was due to the food. We have switched him to blue buffalo sensitive and he is finally starting to gain weight back and no longer pooping himself.
I have reached out to rachael rays and I'm hoping to hear back soon about what they are going to do to make this right and keep it from happening to anyone else's babies. We almost lost our boy and he has suffered miserably for months. He started to get abscesses around his rectum due to how horrific the diarrhea was no matter what we were doing to try to soothe him. We used dry rachael rays chicken formula as well as occasional canned and the plastic dish wet foods. We used trial and error with the foods at the expense of our dog's comfort and health because we trusted this brand and we're failed. I pray the company takes this seriously as well as the hundreds of other customers I've found complaints from that have had the same issues since June this year alone.

My dog eats twice a day. 3 cups divided by 2. So mixed one cup of his regular food with 1/2 cup of Nutrish. He wouldn't eat for 2 days. Then finally on the third day, he dumps the bowl and he actually picked out his regular food and left the Nutrish laying spread out on the floor. When I swept it up and checked it was exactly a half cup. So he didn't eat one piece of the Nutrish. So the next day I reduced the Nutrish to 1/4 a cup and the same thing happened again. He dumps it and doesn't touch one piece of the Nutrish. So we decided to fill his bowl with nothing but Nutrish and for the next 3 days he didn't eat. The bag and the bowl are still full. I won't even donate this to a shelter. It's headed for the landfill as you read this.

We just bought our 17 yr old dog a bag of Rachael Ray's dog food - we have always fed him the cheap stuff, but we thought maybe he deserves some good food so why not Rachael Ray?? She's a good cook - BAD MOVE!!! Our poor old Sparky is now on his death bed... It only took two weeks and in that second week, he seizured 5... FIVE times!! He was partially blind to start with and now pretty darn sure he can't see at all - runs into tables, corners himself in corners and can't get out - He's become aggressive because he can't see NOW and is scared to death - He stands in the middle of the room howling at the top of his lungs DAY AND NIGHT and can barely walk - It's like he's standing on ice!
Let me add this dog has never been sick a day in his life - 17 YEARS. We put him back on Kibbles and Bits, it's been a week now and no seizures, but his life has now been cut VERY short and we are debating on having to put him down. Maybe his quality of life will improve a bit in a week or two but pretty sure the damage is done. Miss Fancy Pants Rachael Ray should have to pay for this - pay everyone's vets bills and pay everyone for the heart break they endure because believe me, just watching our beloved Sparky and listening to him basically scream day and night is heart wrenching. BAD RACHEAL RAY - BAD GIRL!!!!

Please do not feed your dog(s) this brand. My healthy Pomeranian got extremely sick in a very short period of time eating this food. Like many aforementioned reviews, my fully house broken dog could not control his bowel movements on this food, and to watch it unfold was nothing less than heartbreaking. My dog is on a very regular daily feeding and walking schedule, and has never had an accident or issue with bathroom breaks, until I tried this food.
His diarrhea was so bad, I was staying up with him at all hours of the day and night to take him out, and luckily my spouse and I have different work schedules that could accommodate this in shifts. He is trained to vocalize to me if he must go out in an emergency by grabbing his leash, or he will sit by the front door barking/crying until one of us take him outside. On more than one occasion, he didn't even make it to the sidewalk. This only went on for a week, before I realized it was the food, however, I am making this post, because I have read an unsettling amount of stories from other pet owners that waited too long, and lost their four-legged family members - and I don't want that to happen to you, too.
I bought this food, because the store I went to was out of the food I normally feed him, and I personally feel the posh label marketing was incredibly misleading. It appeared healthy, however, with very little regulated guidelines on dog food, how are we, as a consumer, supposed to know better... Seems like they can print whatever they want these days on a label, and call it food - or like this brand, blatantly lie. Next time, if the store is out of his food, I will make him food myself, until I can get him a brand I trust, because it's not worth the suffering, or the risk. Rachael Ray, you should be ashamed of yourself.

He has gotten better since we stopped that dog food but it has taken a week for him to start eating again. It was Rachael Ray Nutrish Dog Food with Salmon and Sweet Potato! Beware!! I’ve been feeding my cat Rachael Ray Nutrish for over a year. Most recently over the last few month, she has been eating the Salmon flavor. My indoor cat is over-grooming and pulling out her hair. She has been treated as a preventative for parasites. The vet can’t find any reason for this behavior except for the food. She loves the food but it is making her itchy. It should be checked to allergens.

We have been feeding their beef dry food to our Fred, an almost 3 yr old Lab, Border Collie, Aussie mix, think it was a good food and believing the label. He had an ear infection in his right ear for 7 months or more only to be healed by a product from Innovet, called PurOtic. Wonderful product, btw. Now, Fred is having seizures and after talking with a friend, advising we are feeding him this product and him telling us stories of his dogs issues, his daughter's dogs issues, we looked into it and found so much bad about this product. We have thrown out the rest of the food just now and will be switching to another food TONIGHT!!! I will try and post a follow up in a few weeks, probably, to give the new food a chance but he eats way more than he should, seems hungry even right after we feed him, too. Our friend advised that there is absolutely NO nutritional value in this food. Update hopefully coming, as I said. Wish I could rate 0 stars...

I can’t tell you the horror I experienced when I noticed some type of burn on my dog’s face after feeding him Rachael Ray dog food for months. It kept getting worse and worse, tried all kinds of meds, ointments (that he absolutely hated) and vet visits. Nothing worked until I changed his food. Only thinking that a more holistic approach could work. Little did I know, her food was the problem. I realized this after he would flare up again anytime he was put back on the food! Once I connected the dots, I read other reviews and was mortified. I couldn’t believe it. Oh, and these photos are just to show ONE of many issues my poor pup had. He actually ripped out a ton of his whiskers (possibly forever)! This was over a year ago now and they’re still gone.

I have been using Rachael Ray Nutrish for a few years and never had issues with the product until recently. I bought a refill bag and noticed that after a day eating the new bag of food my dog has uncontrollable diarrhea. She had bloody, watery stools multiple times throughout the night and the following day. I put her on medicated dog food and got a fluid injection per the vet's instruction and stools went back to normal. The vet recommended to try a little bit of the Rachael Ray dog food once the stools returned to normal to see if that was the culprit for sure. Once she was back to normal, I gave her a handful of the Rachael Ray food and sure enough, she had a watery stool. I had to throw out a large bag of dog food and made a point of buying higher-quality food from a different manufacturer. Waste of my time and money on the food and vet bills. I recommend staying away from this food as it seems to be hit or miss.

Unfortunately, I had to give one star in order to post this review. If I could have given negative stars, I would have. After switching my completely healthy 3 yr old GSD to this food, she began having seizures. We had to rush her to the emergency vet. They had to give her multiple doses of multiple meds to stop the seizures activity. All test for congenital epileptic disorders were negative. The tox screen is still pending, but the vet said she's 99% certain she had been poisoned. It only took one Google search to find out that this brand of dog food is linked to multiple class action lawsuits. This variety in particular was involved in a class action lawsuit because this food contains the weed killer glyphosate.
I also found information on the "Just 6" variety. It is involved in a lawsuit that states it contains actual dog DNA. Interesting enough Rachael Ray sold this company to the Smuckers company a few years ago. The Smuckers company had multiple dog foods recalled in 2019. Of those recalled, there were some that contained **, which is a euthanizing agent used in animal euthanasia. It has now been 36 hours since she last ate this food & although she is better, she still has residual weakness in her legs & is unsteady when walking. We can only pray that she makes a full recovery. I would hate for anyone else to have to go through this. Please do not feed your dog or cat any of Rachael Ray's varieties of pet food!!!

I purchased Rachael Ray Nutrish Little Bites Small Breed Natural Dry Dog Food and Rachael Ray Nutrish Real Chicken & Veggies Recipe Dry Dog Food for my two dogs two weeks ago. I mixed the new food with their old food for a few days as you are supposed to do, and within about 10 days of starting the Rachael Ray Nutrish my smaller dog, 10 pounds, started having accidents in the house which is not typical. When cleaning up one of the accidents, my husband noticed that there was quite a lot of blood in the urine.
Our veterinarian said that Rachael Ray Nutrish causes crystals to form in some dogs' urine and to stop giving it to our dog immediately. An antibiotic was prescribed along with the recommendation to feed wet food for the 10 day course of the antibiotics. Now, it is 4 days after the incident with our smaller dog, and my husband had to take our other dog to the vet, because he was having accidents over the weekend and wanting to go outside about every 5 minutes. Our veterinarian prescribed an antibiotic for him and said to stop the Rachael Ray Nutrish immediately.
I read reviews about Rachael Ray dog food before starting my two babies on it, and I didn't see anything that caught my attention that it was causing health problems. Now, however, when I search Rachael Ray Nutrish urinary tract infections, there are lots of articles. I feel that we are one of the lucky ones though, because there have been other cats and dogs that were not able to recover from the infection and either passed away or have life-long complications. I have contacted Walmart already and am in the process of contacting Rachael Ray's dog food company, too.

Last weekend my dog got into this food at a friend's house and got SEVERELY ILL within 12 hours. He is otherwise perfectly healthy and vibrant and was SO sick we had to go to the ER TWICE. He was vomiting, wouldn’t eat or drink, beyond lethargic, super weak, acting strange, pacing, etc. He ended up with hemorrhagic gastroenteritis so with that also came tissue sloughing (his insides so inflamed, they literally start “shedding”) where inside tissue is just coming out of his bum and blood with diarrhea. He had to get IV fluids TWICE, multiple meds (injections there and a course of meds this week to continue) and it was the most distressing experience for both of us.
I literally thought I was going to lose him. Cost almost $2,000 on top of that. He is finally recovering now, a little better each day. I was blown away when I saw all these other reviews with similar severe illness after eating this food, so I had to add my story as a warning to others. Stay far away from Rachael Ray products, your pet's life depends on it. It is disgusting and unbelievable any of her stuff is still on the market.

After a very costly vet bill and antibiotics for the past 2 weeks, they are not getting any better. Did some research today and it said " have you changed your cat's food recently?" The only thing that has changed in this entire household has been this food. Looked it online reviews and it seems like everybody else is having the same issues. Not too long after his symptoms, my 1 year old cat started to throw up and share in the same symptoms but she was still able to use the bathroom. I never had issues with other emergency foods before.
I had to rush my cat to the emergency where it was hard for them to figure out what was going on with my 3 year old. They gave him an enema and sent us home. When I took him in they had to perform an extensive procedure on this colon in order to clean him out and now he's just not the same! He's not the same baby! I fed a pouch of this Nutrish broth pouch, and within an hour my cat is crying in pain. Then I read the ingredients. What BOOB thinks putting coconut milk in cat food was a good idea? Yeah, feed this stuff to your cat if you want it dead! Coconut milk can KILL your cat after several feedings. I tossed this hazardous cat food in the trash. It should never had made it to the shelf.
Rachel Ray would be aghast at this company delivering not just unhealthful but lethal products under her name. I'm sure she will never hear of this. The company depends on her image. I figured the Nutrish brand would know how to make healthful recipes for cats. Seeing coconut milk as an ingredient after my cat went into pain proved otherwise. I normally feed Fancy Feast broth pouches, Sheba wet food, and Friskies lil soups to my cat. NONE of them list cow's milk, coconut milk, or any type of milk. Odd that everyone but Nutrish knows you don't feed milk to cats as a general rule.
The percentage of cats that get sick on cow and coconut milk is very significant. They can kill a cat. If they continue adding coconut milk as an ingredient, they should put a noticeable warning on the front to warn customers that their product contains milk that is known to make cats sick or cause death. No one should be putting cow/coconut milk in any mass product and mass delivered cat food.

Out of ignorance, I switched to this food because I thought the Simply Nourish that I'd been feeding my Dakota since pup-hood had caused issues with his stomach. The reality of it was that I like to alternate flavors and ended up switching too quickly without blending. Rookie mistake. He was on Rachael Ray Nutrish's turkey and venison dry food for two months with a spoonful of wet food for each meal.
During that two months, he gained 6-7 pounds despite attending daycare and exercising regularly. He also developed bad diarrhea that was brought on randomly. One minute he was solid, next I'm waking up in the early morning hours to clean liquid crap off my floors before a 6-7 am work shift. He's only a year old, but I had him potty trained within a week. He never goes in the house unless he's sick and unfortunately, I sleep like the dead most nights. The smell is the only thing I can't sleep through, and this is coming from someone who's had trees collapse just outside her bedroom window.
The final nail in the coffin was when I was looking to purchase his wet food through Chewy instead of going to the store. I scrolled to the individual containers and saw them listed as grain-free despite the variety packs only having them listed as gluten-free. I remember being in shock, my jaw dropping at Rachael's blatant dishonesty at labeling her products incorrectly. Because of all the speculation around grain-free foods, I've gone out of my way to avoid them until the day it becomes an absolute necessity. I was angry. Who knows what long lasting damage could've been done to my dog had I kept feeding him this junk?
How can I be expected to trust that the dry food I'd been feeding him wasn't grain-free or that it was even made in the US like stated on the package? I fed him enough to switch back to Simply Nourish and that's where we'll stay until I'm given a reason to do otherwise. Ironically, I switched to avoid stomach issues and he ended up suffering through those problems anyways. Never again...

After 5 days of eating Peak Western Grasslands Recipe with Bison, my dog is no longer running on walks, needs help getting in/out of the car, lost most of her energy, dizzy when walking and has fallen over, rapid breathing periodically without any movement prior...something is definitely wrong with this food. After reading the reports online that this dog food can contain chemicals from roundup weed killer and/or traces of euthanasia drugs, our beloved dog will never eat this food again. I wish we did our research before trying a new dog food, but we ran out and needed to grab something from the Grocery Outlet store across the street. Please do your research before using this dog food.

My Beagle has been eating this food for about two weeks. The first sign was itching. He developed a hematoma in his ear from the shaking due to the itching. Cost over $1,000 in vet bills with 2 surgeries and draining of his ear more than 3 times. For the past 5 days he has had diarrhea and been vomiting. He also has a patch of hair missing on the outside of his other ear that was not operated on. His bowl has remained full of this food as he now refuses to touch it! Big Red Flag. Last night in an effort to get him to eat I made him cooked chicken breast with white rice and he licked his plate clean! This food is going in the trash immediately!!! Waste of money! I wouldn't feed this to a starved stray... It's that bad.

I have been feeding Rachael Ray Nutrish dog food to my American Eskimo dog Bear for over 5 years now. I also fed it to my other American Eskimo Teddy, before he died of old age a couple of years ago. I have had zero problems with this dog food. No health issues at all. As a matter of fact, about 3 weeks ago my wife decided to buy some Kibbles and Bits for Bear because he eats the Rachael Ray Nutrish pretty slowly and she wanted him to have something different. Within days he was throwing up and had bad diarrhea. We stopped the Kibbles and Bits & put him back on Rachael Ray Nutrish & he is back to normal.
I am reading that there are supposedly dogs on Rachael Ray Nutrish that have developed heart disease. 10 dogs to be exact. While I am sorry to hear that, I have to ask you how many thousands of dogs, like mine are eating it every day (mine for over 5 years) with ZERO issues. I believe it is a good, healthy alternative for your dog. Bear is 12 years old, is in great health and runs around the house like a maniac sometimes! He doesn't gobble down the food, but is very healthy & not overweight at all. He gobbled down the kibbles and bits and it made him sick. We give him treats every day and sometimes people food too, but mostly Rachael Ray Nutrish dry dog food. I highly recommend it.

People wake up!! If it’s not safe for humans to eat it’s not safe for your pets, My dogs are currently experiencing the side effects from this so called good food, they are vomiting, constantly itching, they aren’t absorbing any nutritional value whatsoever and due to (No Vitamin D) my dogs that (HAD PERFECT TEETH) are now becoming obese. Gums that are bleeding, their teeth are totally decayed to the point they are loose and falling out, they are losing fur!!! Rachael Ray you need to go back to chef school because you certainly fell short of this product that you endorse and due to my pets failing health my vet bills need to be reimbursed for all 3 dogs... My dogs now have to eat soft food which my sister cooks for them every day because they can’t chew anything due to rotted decayed bleeding gums and teeth falling out!!! I foresee lawyer visit in near future due to this matter!!

Please beware of Rachael Ray Nutrish Small Bites Dog Food (kibbles). I will never again feed this brand to my dog and would beg the same of any friend or family member. I'm even here begging you, a total stranger, to please not feed this to your pet. Halfway through one bag of Rachael Ray Nutrish, my 12-pound Yorkshire Terrier began to have serious diarrhea, vomiting, and skin inflammation. I stopped feeding it to him immediately but he has developed food allergies as a result and it's taken several weeks for him to start feeling better. He has scars all over his ears from the constant scratching and I'm still trying to figure out what I can safely feed him. If I could give it negative stars and still post this review, I would. This food made my healthy pet terribly ill.

For some reason, my Beagle is very choosy when it comes to dry dog food. I’ve tried several brands and so far, and this is the only one he will eat straight out of the bag. He would smell all the others and back away. Can’t say that I blame him, they truly stink!

Had my dog try Nutrish, he really liked it and I liked the ingredients except the peas, he doesn't attempt to eat them, they are hard as a rock and he leaves them all over the house which is a pain. He likes peas fresh or frozen but these are way too hard. They should freeze dry them or take them out all together.

Nutrish is one of the few brands that have not been recalled. My dog came from a foster home and was fed with a premium brand that was home delivered. I was told he was a "grazer". I put him on Nutrish soon after I got him, and he just loves it. I mix a little bit of the wet in with the dry.

I was using Pedigree dry food. I wanted to put my dog on a diet but didn't see any diet food I wanted to buy so figured maybe just a better dog food would make a difference. I tried Nutrish when it first came out and my dog wouldn't eat it. Then I accidentally purchased Nutrish Peak (twice the price of the original almost) -- I actually thought I had picked up something else, purchased it and didn't notice til I got home. Turned out my dog absolutely loved the more expensive Nutrish. Amazingly, I have three cats as well and the cats liked the dog's dry food. Wish I could buy both the wet and dry of the Peak, but it's too expensive to buy both.

This is for the small dog breed. My two Chihuahua's love this dry kibble. When I switched from Purina One, I noticed, they gobbled it up, a very noticeable difference in increased activity by the third day. It has real ingredients, no artificial coloring or preservative. It's also less expensive than the other brands for an all natural kibble.

I like feeding this to my dogs because it doesn’t contain any fillers or unnatural ingredients and it’s fairly priced (usually purchase at Walmart). If this isn’t available I will purchase other brands that are wheat and soy free.

I like the grain free one. It is available at grocery stores, which is so convenient. The ingredients are easy to understand. My dog is very sensitive, and will start scratching its fur when given other high end dog food at pet stores. This line also has amazing treats that he loves as well.

The price and quality are good. Tried other brands but my dog would not eat them and some of them she would spit out some of the bits she did not like. Just because a food is more expensive doesn't mean it's better.

This brand makes their food and treats to human standards, meaning we humans can eat it safely if we choose to do so. There's no artificial colors or preservatives and they are literally gobbled up by my baby boy and he's the picky type.

All three dogs in our household, two of them picky eaters, will eat this. The third one eats anything and everything but does seem to eat this food a little faster than most things. Several other dog owners I know whose dogs have tried this agree that their dogs find Nutrish especially tasty. I did a lot of research on the health value of Rachael Ray's dog food. Seems to be about average quality. Her Zero Grain seems to be the only one above average.
I have a very picky eater, a 9 month 50lb pup. I have to rotate even "high value" treats for this guy. My roommate, on a much tighter budget than me, started buying Nutrish for his small dogs at Walgreens. While one of his dogs sometimes prefers my dog's healthier Purina One, my baby loves the Rachael Ray. Because he's so picky, I often have to mix his kibble with wet food, which is expensive - he's a big guy and still growing! I started mixing Nutrish with his healthier food and that seems to be the best way to get him to eat close to enough for his size and make me feel that he is getting more than enough nutrition. The beef flavor is like a treat and is the only kibble that gets him to completely clean his food bowl, and fast! Otherwise, he usually leaves some dry food, and even wet/dry mixed, when he's done eating his meal. I sometimes worry about him under-eating, never overeating, except with the Nutrish beef flavor.
