I paid $1 for a one time use of the site. I don't know where it said that I automatically get a monthly account after 7 days, but I sure didn't see it anywhere. I used it the 1 time with no real results and never used it again. 1 month later I'm hit with a $30 withdrawal from my PayPal account. I feel like I was scammed.

The service was able to confirm my suspicion that I was dealing with a scammer. It's unfortunate that these days more than ever we can't take people at their word. No ongoing need but I will use the service again on the future should the need arise. They seem to do what they say.

BeenVerified is a scam and complete rip-off. To obtain a report you must sign up for a monthly subscription and there are no options for a one time fee. I paid almost $30 for a background check on someone, after paying for a month-to-month subscription that I didn't need. The information contained in the report (addresses, phone numbers, associations, etc) I had already seen through internet searches by simply running the person's name and state of residence. But the most important information I needed (Criminal History) was locked and you had to upgrade and pay more money to obtain it. Moreover, in the report each heading uses the word "Possible" such as Possible Relatives, etc. Possible data implies not verified, despite the company's name.

Due to a divorce and my ex moving out of state, if anyone moved we are required to notify the other person about that move. I found out that my ex moved out of an apartment and into a house through our son. When I asked my ex about the new address, he would not provide it. I signed up for BeenVerified under a Promotion in March of 2022, I canceled the account in April and they refunded me the monthly charge of 27.98 I have since been charged every Month from April of 2022 through December 2022 $27.98 when I called and spoke with customer service they told me they have to have a different department call me after Christmas because this account is canceled and doesn't show they're billing me. I have every 9 months of billing from them showing in my bank account. When I spoke a few months ago with someone over email from this company they asked me to email them a copy of my back account statement which I didn't feel comfortable doing. The Customer service rep on the phone today said Therese nothing he can do to help me since it shows canceled, yet I'm still being billed 9 months after canceling this. Seems really sketchy to me.

She uses the Hidden Super Administrator app to change my passwords. Yesterday I signed up for an account with you to see the damage she’s done. This saved me time and heartache and I really appreciate it. I was also able to cancel my service with no issues and it was easy to cancel. Completely worked for what I needed it for.

This is the sleaziest and most intelligence-insulting website I have ever been on. It will force you through endless fake loading times (yes, all those loading bars are fake- cheap psychology trick) and then try to milk you for everything you have once you've been forced to invest all that time (sunk cost fallacy) both data-wise, and financially, for a crumb of useful info. You might get something useful if you spend money and go along with the demands but you're wasting your time otherwise. They should just be upfront about it instead of trying to manipulate you for their own gain as much as possible.

There were two unauthorized charges from beenverified.com on our church debit card. The rep who answered my call this morning (Carlos) went above and beyond to locate the charges and to close the account, which was set up by someone unknown to our church who lives in another city. Carlos was very friendly and helpful and was as invested in finding the answer as I was. Both of us ended the conversation encouraged and I asked if I could send a positive review on his behalf. She was very personable and took the time to discuss all possibilities to help me find the answers to what I needed. The BeenVerified service has been really easy to sign-up for, easy to use the service, and very simple to cancel once I'm no longer needing it. I have signed up for this service a few times now for several months to a year each time. Normally services are extremely difficult to cancel when no longer needed. I signed up for the $1.00 trial because I only needed to look up 1 person. But I forgot to cancel so I got the $27 bill at the end of the trial. I contacted support about the issue and they were very kind and understanding. They gave me a refund for the $27 and were very courteous. Really great people work for this company.

This is a good service but I only need it occasionally. I did not need to subscribe so I used it and then cancelled to stop the reoccurring monthly billing. Cancellation is easy, and if you forget to cancel before another billing you can cancel and get a refund with little effort.

Several months ago I purchased a Been Verified report for the Vin number for my used car. Red flags went up when I tried to sell it to Carvana and they told me that couldn’t because apparently had been some issues with the car tile I was unaware of. BeenVerified was one of the organizations that popped up as a resource to help you with your title history. Unfortunately after I purchased the title history it was not complete & it only gave the sources of the title issues but no details. So the information I was looking for was not there.

The support email and online service has been a terrific experience. VERY quick response and resolution time! I am an intermittent user and will continue to use Been Verified as needed. BV has been easy to work with and appreciate their product and service.

I found this site to be inaccurate and severely lacking in important information. I looked up several people for a deeper dive. I knew basic information to be true. That was confirmed, however, it did not show death of people I know to be dead for over 7 years, incarcerations and felonies for people that were over 7 years old. Many misleading and outdated parts of info that made my investigation moot.

Biggest scammers. They charge you $1 for a trial. Then waste 20 minutes with one bar filling up then the next then the next. When the data is finally "complete" it asks for a $25 one month membership. Apparently the trial wasn't enough. Biggest schemers on the planet.
