Maria was great. She solved my problem immediately. Because of her I would use BeenVerified again! My initial use of BeenVerified was helpful, but there was still ambiguity about the two individuals I was looking for. I understand that it's impossible to pinpoint all the information, however. If I were to do another search, I would use BeenVerified but I'm not a PI, just an administrator, and needed it just the once (so far).

I spoke with a representative yesterday about canceling my been verified subscription, I believe his name was Antwon or something like that. He was extremely helpful and patient, and should be given a raise, customer service like that isn't very common in my experience.

I signed up for BeenVerified under a Promotion in March of 2022, I canceled the account in April and they refunded me the monthly charge of 27.98 I have since been charged every Month from April of 2022 through December 2022 $27.98 when I called and spoke with customer service they told me they have to have a different department call me after Christmas because this account is canceled and doesn't show they're billing me. I have every 9 months of billing from them showing in my bank account. When I spoke a few months ago with someone over email from this company they asked me to email them a copy of my back account statement which I didn't feel comfortable doing. The Customer service rep on the phone today said Therese nothing he can do to help me since it shows canceled, yet I'm still being billed 9 months after canceling this. Seems really sketchy to me.

The reports are showing not as actual. So better, to go for a good website. So, I am trying for new platforms parallel to Bumper which is better. So, that's the reason for canceling the membership. Please expedite the website and get your information correct.

I did a search for someone who has been very difficult to locate. BV wanted me to give them money without being able to verify that they had the right person. Why would I do that? I would have to be an idiot to do that. Which I'm not, BTW.

I was hesitant to give out my c.c. Information via the internet. This company offered a free trial. I used their service, and they promptly canceled. However, they continued billing me, and I just caught this. No, I had to cancel my c.c. and am waiting for a new one. This card was linked to many automatic payments and has caused me a litany of trouble. Do not trust!

I was contacted by a young woman looking for her father and her father's family. I asked how she came by not only my name but my cell phone number and she said she obtained it from BeenVerified, which listed me as a possible relative of her father. I cannot fathom how my information got linked to this man, who've I been in the same building with twice in my life and have never even had a conversation with. He would not know who I am if you told him my name yet this site lists me as a potential relative. My research shows that he is a habitual felon currently in prison.

This service was super helpful. I was "catfished" by a fake account and fake phone number. Once I searched the phone number, it confirmed that the person I was talk to, was fake and that the phone number did not belong to the person I was talking to. I was able to stop the person from contacting me going forward. This service confirmed the phone number and location, and I was able to stop contact with this person. This saved me time and heartache and I really appreciate it. I was also able to cancel my service with no issues and it was easy to cancel. Completely worked for what I needed it for.

I have written this company several times and phoned. It becomes a full-time job trying to cancel my subscription. Emails not going through and the automated telephone system keeps hanging up on me. Their system hung up on me today three times. Can’t get through with emails. This is just plain wrong!

For the most part, The information concerning myself was correct. Concerning the person I was looking for, Once again your agency was not able to find any information on her whatsoever. You do a lot of work Persuading a person to believe that they will get their questions answered through your agency, But I think this is the 3rd time I have tried this, and still I did not receive any information that I had not already known about: even though I have sent y'all pictures in the past, given telephone numbers, And even a other information. I am requesting your agency and staff follow-up more thoroughly on the leads given to y'all to aid in aims sought for, for both our common interests.... I may try once more, in the future. The representative was very helpful in responding and resolving my issues. She went above and beyond to provide different options in providing excellent customer service. I was very crumpy on a Thursday morning, but I felt a lot better after speaking with the rep.

Updated on 09/30/2022: The response to the problems reported in my previous review was to send a form letter containing all the ineffective remedies recommended during the live chat. My response to that is:
