⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5-Star Review for Safe Travel Moving. I had a great experience with Safe Travel Moving with my move from Florida to California. The movers showed up on time, were very nice, polite, and professional, and were able to get all of my belongings loaded onto the truck efficiently. They made what could have been a very stressful process feel much easier.

Safe Travel Moving Storage call them for a quote from Florida to New Mexico. Albuquerque, the price was excellent. I was very happy with the price. When we made an agreement on the price, I decided to set up my shipping date. It was very helpful, especially the secretary, Pearl. Today we loaded the truck and they left on my way to New Mexico. I had a problem: a breakdown with my car. I called him right away to let them know. The girl, Pearl, was on top of it. If he said, "Don't worry, sir; we will get your stuff there on time. And we will make sure everything is taken care of."

If I could give more stars, I would! We had an amazing experience with Safe Travels Moving & Storage Moving company! Excellent customer service, communication, and helpfulness!! They answered all of our questions and checked in regularly to make sure we had a great quote and everything we needed! The movers were so kind, fast but careful. They took great care of our items but also worked very efficiently. We have used this company twice to move my parents and now us. All of the movers are so great! They are very professional and skilled! And even fixed a drawer that was loose on our dresser!! We are very appreciative!! Our move was smooth as could be thanks to their team!!

I want to take the time to acknowledge Cory ** as a wonderful representative. During my time with him I was able to understand the complete process of my move and he thoroughly answered any question that I had and he made my experience wonderful the entire process. He was very trustworthy and was able to relate with me and actually had an awesome attitude and was funny. Made the experience very smooth. Stay away from this company. Almost a month and a half after they picked up my father’s furniture to move it to Florida, it’s still sitting in a warehouse in Downsville, NY. We’re getting the runaround from everyone involved, and even with a delivery date given yesterday of 9/12 (today’s 9/11), his belongings are still in Downsville. Terrible company, terrible customer service, and no respect for the fact that an 85-year-old man has no furniture for a month now.

Warning: Safe Travels is a deceptive broker, NOT a moving company. They took a massive $1,000 upfront deposit and only left the actual moving crew with $700 for a simple local move. Because Safe Travels took almost all the money, the actual movers weren't paid properly, and the entire experience was an absolute nightmare. Here is why you should avoid this scam at all costs: Hostile & Slow Crew: The movers were deliberately slow to milk the clock. The crew leader was extremely rude and constantly tried to manipulate the situation to tack on hidden fees. Extortion for "Stacking": They literally tried to charge me extra money just for stacking items, forcing me to move multiple pieces of furniture myself because they refused to work. Severe Property Damage: They severely scratched my TV and glass tables, left deep gouges in other tables, and completely shattered the glass and mirrors on my curio cabinet.

I moved recently and was truly happy with my service. Pearl helped get me through the entire process and really took a lot of stress off my hands. When the movers arrived. It was a little later than I had expected but it went wonderful after that and the movers were happy and efficient.

DO NOT WORK WITH THESE PEOPLE. Their verbal promises never align with what actually transpires. They completely lack a customer service mindset. Any time you have an issue, they regurgitate the same script and never actually do anything that helps. I was promised a date by which I would receive my items by - a week after that date passed, they still couldn’t even tell me where my possessions were.

We are still trying to get our delivery!!!! Our furniture and such was picked up on 25 June, and called by the driver sayng the delivery will be last Wednesday. The delivery was originally agreed to be Friday. No delivery Wednesday. Nothing!!! Repeated calls learned the broker aspect and the person answering could only state he had no information and had to wait for the shipper dispatch to respond to his inquiry. We finally learned that the furniture was taken the wrong direction and is now apparently in Storage at a location in Chicago. Address unknown. We paid extra for faster delivery even though they state an average of 3-14 days.

Don't even think about using Safe Travels. They are nearly impossible to reach and then agree to everything with zero follow-up. I believe we were low balled on costs. They promised us a reputable moving company but then the move was passed on to another company that proved monumentally unreliable and negligent in packing and moving. The moving company, called Cross Country Long Distance Movers showed up very late, ended up costing us more than double, took nine days to move our belongings to Chicago from CT, only had two guys for delivery and then several pieces of furniture were damaged, glassware, two TVs, a sculpture, and several pictures and frames. All in all it was a horrible experience. Avoid these guys at all costs and you will be spared a lot of money and aggravation.

PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!! Our moving truck picked up our belongings from Texas on the morning of June 10th and we have yet to have any update on where our belongings currently are. It is JULY 6th!!!! That is nearly one full month of not having any idea on where our items are! People rent a moving company in order to get their items to a destination in a timely manner. ONE MONTH and NO UPDATES is NOT a TIMELY MANNER!
