We used Rapid Interstate Movers last month and had a fantastic experience. The 30 days of free storage saved us a massive headache while we waited to close on our new house. The crew was fast, polite, and handled our furniture with care. Highly recommended!

I chose the all-inclusive option so I could have a dedicated truck for my move. It gave me tremendous peace of mind knowing my belongings would not be mixed up with anyone else's inventory. I was able to call the toll-free number for updates during transit, and everything arrived exactly in the condition it left in.

A lot of moving companies try to hit you with hidden fees, but Rapid was upfront from the start. The video estimate was super convenient to calculate our cubic footage. I also really liked how the payments were broken down into three equal installments: booking, pickup, and delivery. It made budgeting for a long-distance move much easier to manage.

When our house was finally ready, the delivery was prompt, and the team even assembled our beds right where we asked them to.

Rapid Interstate Movers handled my relocation from New Jersey to Ohio, and I could not be happier. I opted for the full service packing tier because I simply did not have the time to do it myself. The crew came in, inventoried everything, and wrapped my furniture beautifully in heavy duty blankets. Not a single item was scratched when it arrived.

Solid moving company from start to finish. The pricing was incredibly transparent with their three installment payment plan, so there were absolutely no surprise fees on delivery day.

I had a terrible experience with Rapid Interstate Movers and would not recommend them. During my move, they failed to pack numerous items from my kitchen and garage. They returned the next day to pick up those remaining household goods, but nearly four months later, I still have not received them. Since my initial delivery in April, I have been calling repeatedly to get answers. Each time, I am told that “100% your delivery will come next week,” but then no one follows up. I wait another week, call again, and hear the same story with no real resolution. On top of the missing items and lack of communication, numerous belongings were broken during the move, including my coffee table. I wish I had read reviews before hiring them. I booked the move through a broker called Safe Ship, but based on my experience, I would urge others to be extremely cautious before using Rapid Interstate Movers.

BEWARE!!! READ!!! The movers arrived two days beyond scheduled delivery day, and this change was notified last minute. The pick up window was between 8am to 11am, and the truck did not even arrive on site until past 3pm for an interstate move that was scheduled WEEKS in advance. The crew arrived with NO packing materials, and several men were just sitting around on their phones for hours at a time. They REFUSED to begin until the initially agreed upon price was raised by over $2000 due to an increase in cubic footage EVEN THOUGH I already paid my deposit on a "Binding Quote". However, I was told whether the said cubic footage was reduced or not, I would still pay them the same increased price.

Horrible company. No communication based on packers' limited English. Upcharged excessively with no explanation. Broke items. Did not wrap or box couches. Stood them on end direct contact. Company stopped communicating after signing. Should have done my homework.

Had a horrible experience and company offered to pay for a good review after my first review. I did not take it or follow their direction to change review. After 6 months now, I am still missing items that were packed to be shipped. I just shake my head, and ask God to remove the thought of this company from my mind. I pray no one uses this company for long-distance moving. Even making final payment was shaky - it cost me additional to get a postal money order to pay them and so many of my items were missing. I hope they got good money for household items, school supplies and family games.

This place seemed very shady from the get-go. There was only one person who ever picked up the phone. Right after I shared my credit card information to book a move, I got the first scam charge that I've ever gotten on that credit card later the same day. I had to cancel my credit card of course. I then called back Rapid Interstate Movers to cancel, and I was within the 48 hours stated on the agreement. (The agreement was also exactly the same template as another company I checked out, which seemed suspicious.) The woman I dealt with told me they would issue the refund in a few days. It never happened of course. I had to then dispute it with my credit card. Eventually through my credit card's dispute I was issued a refund -- 3 months later. All of this took up so much time, energy and stress. Not worth it.

Guys did a great job. Everything was well taken care of, timely and my boxes were fine. A couple broken glasses but that may have been on me. I’d definitely recommend this to someone else making a long distance move.

I used this company for a move from SC to Al. The initial process with Kristin was excellent. She went over everything for the process and answered any and all questions I had. Everything was straight forward. Even though I didn’t use it but they offer a free 30 day storage option if you need some extra time to finalize your move. The day of my move, crews members arrived and quickly got to work. They were all nice and professional. The items I did not have boxed like furniture items, they wrapped each item with heavy duty blankets and moved it with absolute care.

I moved from Chicago to Middletown, Connecticut. The moving coordinator was good and responsive, and I got all the information I needed. The actual crew was good, too. They were pretty efficient and did a good job in terms of time.

Rapid was honestly really good. I chose them because they were local, and my move was just an hour away. They did have to increase my quote when they came out, because I guess it was more work than expected. But, the crew was good and nothing got broken during the move.

I was pleased with the people who delivered my furniture. They put up my beds together and did everything I asked them to do. However, a couple of my stuff got damaged. My bins were all broken up as well as some of my pictures, and my bed rail was bent. The price was reasonable but the move could have been a little better.

I want to give a review for Martin ** and Luis L. They were professional, courteous on time and helpful. Kept me updated on their arrival. They moved my boxes with care and speed. These guys represent your company very well. I would recommend Martin and Luis for future moves. It was a pleasure doing business with these 2 personnel.

The process in the beginning dealing with Kristin was excellent. She explained everything in detail. The crew showed up at my place and quickly got to work. They wrapped all furniture and handled it with care. The only complaint I would have is lack of communication with the crew arriving and delivering. I asked when it would be delivered and he stated, "By the afternoon the next day." I was moving from SC to Al so I left at 2 am to make sure I was there before they arrived since they left the day before. In the afternoon I had to call about the status and the driver told me they were in traffic and probably be arriving later in the evening.

I had an estate move that involved multiple states with multiple stops over multiple days. It was complicated and emotional for me. Rapid Interstate was easy to work with - they were compassionate and reassuring and professional from the beginning on the phone through the move out to the last moments of the delivery. Oh! And they were affordable! Just the best in every way. I highly recommend this company.

Movers were extremely fast and careful with my furniture. Friendly service from Gerardo and Giomar. Both were professional and cleaned up after themselves. Also had great communication with the coordination of scheduling my delivery. Very organized and helpful in making sure all my furniture was properly placed in its designated area. I would highly recommend Interstate Rapid Movers.

This morning I had Martin and his team come to pick up my shipment of household goods at 7am. They were exactly on time and packed everything up so beautifully and was in and out in a timely manner, my transporting of goods was so last-minute planned, and they helped out severely and got my stuff taken care of in a timely matter, and I will most definitely be using them again!!

The service was very smooth and time efficient. They were able to disassemble the furniture with ease and was held great professionalism throughout by assessing the layout of the apartment and what was needed to make the best use of the space to get all essential items needed into the truck. I would definitely use this company again in the nearby future if we decide to move again! :)
