I used this company for a move from SC to Al. The initial process with Kristin was excellent. She went over everything for the process and answered any and all questions I had. Everything was straight forward. Even though I didn’t use it but they offer a free 30 day storage option if you need some extra time to finalize your move. The day of my move, crews members arrived and quickly got to work. They were all nice and professional. The items I did not have boxed like furniture items, they wrapped each item with heavy duty blankets and moved it with absolute care.
At my new address, the crew arrived and got right to work. They asked where I wanted the items set up and placed them in that location. They even assembled the furniture back. I didn’t have to do anything. After they were done they cleaned up the items they used. I highly recommend this company for anyone looking to move. Even if you have a mover you're thinking about give Rapid Interstate Movers a call prior to your final decision. You will not be disappointed.

When moving from Chicago to Middletown, Connecticut, I found the moving coordinator of Rapid Interstate Movers to be quite responsive, providing all the necessary information I needed in a timely manner. The moving crew themselves were efficient and handled the logistics well, staying on schedule.
While the quote provided was accurate, reflecting what I eventually paid, not everything went without a hitch. There were some items that got damaged during the move—specifically, a metal storage shelf and my TV stand. I was able to fix the TV stand myself, but the shelf remained bent.
Overall, I’d rate my experience with them as a 4 out of 5.

Rapid Interstate Movers is a local company in my area. The move itself was about an hour away, which wasn’t too daunting. The moving coordinator was quite helpful, answering all my questions efficiently, although I did notice they had to adjust the initial quote on the moving day, as they determined it was more work than anticipated.
The moving crew did a very good job packing everything securely, and nothing was broken in the process despite this minor hiccup with the quote. Their service was commendable and met my needs. Pricing was reasonable given the quality of service, although it wasn’t standout. Overall, I would recommend them based on my experience and would rate them highly.

The process in the beginning dealing with Kristin was excellent. She explained everything in detail. The crew showed up at my place and quickly got to work. They wrapped all furniture and handled it with care. The only complaint I would have is lack of communication with the crew arriving and delivering. I asked when it would be delivered and he stated, "By the afternoon the next day." I was moving from SC to Al so I left at 2 am to make sure I was there before they arrived since they left the day before. In the afternoon I had to call about the status and the driver told me they were in traffic and probably be arriving later in the evening.
By evening time I still received no call so I called the driver and he said it would be delivered in the morning the next day. Since it was around 7 pm and I had no furniture which I thought I would have since being told. I had to pay for a hotel room for the night. The next day the crew arrived and quickly got to work. They arranged and assembled all items that needed to be. The only complaint again is lack of communication.

My experience with Rapid Interstate Movers was a mixed bag. Some of my belongings, like storage bins and picture frames, were damaged during the process. It seemed like they didn't handle the packing with enough care, as my bins were broken, and my bed rail also got bent.
However, the delivery team who brought the furniture to my new place was great. They were attentive and went above and beyond to ensure everything was set up correctly, including assembling my beds. Their effort somewhat balanced out the earlier mishaps.
Overall, while the initial part of my move with Rapid Interstate Movers wasn't as smooth as I'd hoped, the dedication of the delivery team was commendable. It would have made for a better experience if the same level of care had been applied during packing. Their pricing was reasonable, but the service left room for improvement.

I had an estate move that involved multiple states with multiple stops over multiple days. It was complicated and emotional for me. Movers were extremely fast and careful with my furniture. Friendly service from Gerardo and Giomar. Both were professional and cleaned up after themselves. Also had great communication with the coordination of scheduling my delivery. Very organized and helpful in making sure all my furniture was properly placed in its designated area. Great experience. Professionally done. Worked with a lot of care and as a team. I’d totally recommend these two people for your further moving and from now on I’ll keep them in mind if I ever need to move again. I had 0 damages with my belongings and they were really good at packing everything together and making it work.
