MobileHelp pricing

Total costs at MobileHelp vary depending on the system, devices, features and upgrades you choose. For example, it costs an extra $6.99 per month to add a protection plan that covers the cost of replacing stolen, lost or damaged equipment. You can also add a waterproof help button that attaches to a wall for $2.99 more per month.

The prices below are accurate as of the publishing date.

MobileHelp charges $12.50 for shipping. Indoor fall detection costs an additional $10 per month. Fall detection for both indoor and outdoor use costs an additional $20 per month.

How MobileHelp medical alert systems work

When there’s an emergency, you can press a button on the MobileHelp device to send a signal to MobileHelp’s monitoring center. The operator immediately accesses your information and establishes two-way communication. They find out what happened and what’s needed, pinpointing your location through GPS technology. Finally, they either call your primary contact or dispatch emergency services.

MobileHelp runs on AT&T’s nationwide cellular network. Wearable MobileHelp devices are waterproof and can be safely and effectively worn in the shower or the bath. The base console station is roughly the size of an answering machine; the mobile devices weigh about 3 ounces and are nearly the size of a deck of playing cards.

About MobileHelp monitoring centers

MobileHelp partners with Rapid Response Monitoring to provide state-of-the-art, UL-certified emergency monitoring services. All monitoring response operators are based in New York, California and Nevada.

According to MobileHelp, operators are highly qualified and rigorously trained. The company always has bilingual Spanish operators standing by and uses an interpreting service called LanguageLine to interpret more than 240 languages.

How long does the battery last?

Once fully charged, the mobile device battery should last at least 24 hours. With in-home systems, the base station’s battery lasts over 30 hours, and the help button battery lasts more than five years.

Do I have to sign a contract to get a MobileHelp system?

You don't have to sign a contract to get a MobileHelp medical alert system.

What is MobileHelp’s cancellation policy?

If you’re not happy with your emergency alert system, contact MobileHelp customer service to cancel. All equipment must be returned at your expense, or else you’ll be charged for the items and have to pay service fees. After MobileHelp receives your returned system, you may be eligible for a prorated refund. If you return your system within the first 30 days, you'll receive a full refund.

    It takes a bit of getting used to. Initially it would go off for bouncing against my chest or when I took it off and it would brush something. I didn't really like how obviously the necklace was against my chest, but I have gotten used to that and don't mind it anymore. It took a few tries to figure out how to quickly cancel a nuisance alarm, but once I started listening to the voice response it became easy. The main reason I got the device was because I live alone and was worried about possible accidents without immediate access to my phone--which I do not carry with me from room to room. I have not had any problems with falling, but as I age I realize the possibility increases. So it has brought me a sense of safety.

      I was looking for a device for my 75-year-old brother who lives alone and fell - he was able to yell for help and his neighbor called emergency services. He was ok but worried about falling again. So I did some research and chose Mobilehelp based on their services and our families ability to get help for my brother should he fall again. I spoke with Ms ** who explained the devices, the best plan, etc. I was happy with her detailed information, but I had to get the ok from my sister who holds the power of attorney. I got the clearance and set everything up the same day. We now have the device - my brother wears it around his neck. He is happy and feels secure knowing that help will come quickly should he need it, and his caregivers will also be notified as well. We went with the yearly plan as it was most cost-effective.

      Our family is so happy with MobileHelp! We had a lot of questions before we purchased and they were very helpful and detailed. Now we feel so much better now that our mom has the necklace with fall detection. We love that we get a text immediately. My mom feels more safe now too that she can press a button and speak to someone if she needs help. This will definitely keep her in her house longer which she really wants and gives us peace of mind when we are not with her.

      Easy to talk with personnel about the equipment and the cost associated with each system. We selected the Solo System because of the fall detection system will function without any assistance from a person. Another feature we like is the Lock Box for the front door. A key is safely stored within for use by First Responders (after given the code), they can enter the home.

      We purchased this for our 95 year old mother. She refused to get it and was not happy with us three adult children for going behind her back to get it. She is wearing the necklace from the time she gets up and dressed and takes it off at bedtime. It give my siblings and I additional peace of mind.

      Went smooth. When tested 1st time took a while (10 12 seconds) for AI response asking if ok. Just tested, response was within 3 seconds. Lock box for door doesn't work. Too lazy to send back.

      It's too early to write a review. After several weeks and multiple shipments, the system is still not operational. I've had positive and supportive help from Technical and Sales sides, but the system will not be operational until at least next week, when I should have received and set up a final component to the system. Feel free to ask me late next week what my experience has been. Thank you.

      Buying MobileHelp is like buying insurance. You are buying peace-of-mind. But there is a difference. Every so often, I begin to wonder if the device is still working. It would be nice if we could do that. Has any thought been given to a testing procedure?
