I had this plan for 4 years with no issues, because I wasn’t taken any prescriptions. Then I had some heart issues and after the first month of prescriptions I was sent a letter dated “July 1, 2024” that I “will be disenrolled from your Humana prescription drug plan on 06/30/2024.” Their reason was “You now live outside your current plan’s service area”. I’ve been living in the same zip code for 8 years and the same home for 2 years.

Ordered mother Parkinson's meds to be delivered. No meds yet. In fact they on auto refill and no reason for hold up. Paid copay over the phone, reps said order was shipped May 28th and will arrive in 3 business days. Nope! Called back on June 3 and was told there was a hold on her meds and for what, they are paid for and she needs her meds. Rep stated again after copay they will go out expedited today. Well June 10, no meds still. Now FedEx has them and it still says in Tennessee for the last 5 days. I never had this issue with her meds until now. When calling last year I dealt with an **. What's up with all this foreign customer service crap. They are nice but you can't understand what they are saying. What the hell Humana. I will be moving her meds to a reliable pharmacy. Stay away from this company unless you want a relapse or setback in your health.

Humana plays fast and loose with the health of their drug plan subscribers, not to mention making it very inconvenient to be 1 of those subscribers? When I tried to refill my prescription for a drug taken daily, my pharmacy told me Humana wouldn't allow the refill until 2/14/24. On 2/14/24 I'll be taking the final pill I have from the last refill. So I'd better be available to get to the pharmacy the next day and hope they have my drug in stock! It's ridiculous not to be allowed a refill a week or 10 days prior to running out of a medication. At the end of the year when it's time to review Medicare drug plans, I'll be trying to find one that shows more consideration for their subscribers and has sensible rules.

Apparently, this pharm. will not treat pain and depression/anxiety at the same time. Although they often occur together in a vicious cycle. They refused to fill my psych MD Rx (in which all of my MD's involved agreed upon) even after she called and sent in TWO authorizations. My advice is DO NOT USE this pharmacy if you suffer from these two conditions. I made no less than 10 calls to 4 pharmacists and 6 CS reps. for a total of 4 hrs and was told that they would take care of it. They never did nor did they call me back. Now I go to pick up my prescriptions the price is tripled. I was not told the truth. They'd lie just to get you to join. Be aware of insurance companies doing this to you.

They want me in constant pain so they can save money, they have no concern for my health or quality of life. Humana/CenterWell Pharmacy is the absolute worst pharmacy I have ever dealt with. First of all, it takes way too long for them to process the order before it ships. The representatives that answer the phones and the so-called “supervisors” are clueless. Every month I have an order, I have to call them several times to get the status of my order, and each person has a different story, contradicting each other. It’s just very frustrating having to call numerous times asking, “where’s my medication?”

Also, they should be available 24/7 like most all other mail order pharmacies are, but they close @ 8:00 p.m. and are closed on the weekends which really delays your prescriptions. And you would think a mail order pharmacy (especially one that takes so long to process orders) would offer next-day or even two-day expedited shipping, but they only have three-day FedEx shipping which is not even considered expedited shipping. I cannot wait till open season in October to get rid of them!!!

If you have a med that you need to survive on, don't use Humana. The timeframe to get your meds might not be on time. Worst phone system ever to try to get an answer also. They seem to have to confirm the prescription with your doctor after they already received the prescription. If you're going to have a colonoscopy, schedule it at least a month out so they can get the medicine you drink the day before to you on time.

New member to Humana Walmart Value Rx Plan, broker said they had good ratings. Real experience proves otherwise: terrible customer service, terrible online portal. When I signed up for Medicare Part D Walmart Plan I received two page mailer with card that had no details on how to sign up for mail order or phone. Not one sentence in mailer addressed when and how to sign up for Humana.com portal. I tried reaching out by phone to numbers offered in mailer only to have automated system state the system was for 'providers' only.

The online portal is poorly designed: It took an hour to learn from the IT Tech Division (No mention of this number on the portal) that new Part D members can't sign onboard until the 'active' date of membership, which means you will not have access to setting up your mail order account online until that date. This would be a useful tip to add to a new member marketing letter; I shared this suggestion with supervisor reached on phone, who said it wasn't his job to make them. For those of you who depend on life saving medications don't count on Humana: if you don't have extra refills on your prescriptions handy from your old insurance, count on some nail biting as you wait for your date of activation, then scramble to create your online account and wait week later to get refills in the mail.

I was offered an opportunity in my fifth call to customer service to set up mail order account over phone and transferred to Mail Order Division at 800-379-0092, where I was informed I could sign up for Humana Pharmacy. I mentioned I signed up for Humana Walmart Value Rx Plan (!) only to be told that they didn't have a phone number for that so, if I wanted to sign up now I could easily get Humana Pharmacy plan. Talk about bait and switch! New members beware: check Google Humana Pharmacy online ratings before you buy. I'm going to guess that New Member Mailing I received hasn't been revised since 2005, which is the identification date noted in footer on the bottom of page.

Awful experience. Company representatives will tell you amazing prices, just so that you will feel comfy and transfer all of your Rxs to their mail order pharmacy. 1st rep stated to me that I have to call Walmart and have them transfer the Rxs to Humana. Walmart told me that it works the opposite way. That Humana has to call Walmart to make transfer. Should have been the 1st red flag. Staff also quoted me prices, which made me approve the transfer, because of the low price.

Then was told that my doc had to write me a whole new Rx to send to Humana. And they could not transfer that 1 particular Rx. Reason that the representative gave me was, because of the fact that I only want that Rx transferred because of the price being cheaper. I was quoted a really low price. Then was told later that it would be 0 copay. My doc sent over an Rx. And I went online to check when the package would arrive at my home. Humana charged me $90 for that Rx. Awful experience. Avoid by all means. Reps will say anything you to get your business.

I transferred my Rxs to Humana Pharmacy in 10/2020. I told them that I did not need a refill on my ** as I had just refilled at local pharmacy and doctor had cut my dosage in half. I took all of those pills from local pharmacy. Fast forward to 8/2021 and I opened the sealed ** from Humana and the smell knocked me over. It was very pungent and kind of petroleum smell. I took them to local pharmacy and the pharmacist said there is usually a slight odor to ** but never as strong as my pills. I called Humana to get a return envelope so they could dispose of drug properly. They refused saying I had drug for 9 months and it must have been something I did to drug that made the sealed drug smell. All I wanted to do is return the drug. I will have all scripts filled at local pharmacy where there is a pharmacist that will discuss any concerns that I have. I have to wonder if Humana is using off brand drugs or if they are made in China.

I've been a Humana Medicare part D since 2013. My first premium was something around $14.00 per month. I'm 72 years old but have relatively good health and currently take one drug, **. This is a low cost medication. You can use a prescription discount card and the cost for a two month supply is under $14.00 for a two month supply. Humana has been supplying me this drug for approximately $20.00 for two month supply.

I contacted Humana several days ago to ask a few questions one of which was how much my premium was. They responded that it was $56.00 per month with a $400.00 deductible. I asked why I was paying so much premium. They said they sent me an e-mail last October notifying me of this increase. I don't recall this e-mail and if I had would of looked elsewhere for medication part D. This is approximately $672.00 per year. Far more than the $120.00 that I now pay. This is outrageous and I can't seem to do anything about it. I will be looking for a new Part D carrier but until 1-1-2021, I'll be paying $56.00 a month. Far higher than the cost of this medication. I feel like I'm being ripped off.

If they have a problem with filling your prescription they might contact your doctor but they won’t bother contacting you. So you need to constantly monitor the website to see if it is still “in process “ after the 7-9 day period that they process your order. I’m on my first day without pain medicine in 20 years because I didn’t constantly check to see if things were going smoothly. Don’t depend on your doctor or pharmacist to care whether you get your medicine. Patients are slaves to these people.

I call again 1 week before it is due and there is no record of my phone call.
