Bought an outdoor furniture couch from Restoration Hardware. In less than two years this thing completely chipped away and fell apart. It looks absolutely terrible now. When I asked them to replace it given, it’s embarrassing Loocke, and terrible craftsmanship. They refused and told me I just needed to buy their product and treat it. Absurd. Front Gate when presented with a similar issue quickly replaced it. Do not buy from Restoration Hardware. Buy from front gate. That seems to be the lesson here. Customer service from restoration hardware was abysmal.

RH has changed mills for their Belgian linen quality - used on upholstered furniture & blinds - and the new quality is coarse, scratchy, unlaundered & a slight girly different hue to the fog color I have purchased previously. Why is this a problem? Because my Belgian track armed sofas are the original color & quality & my new ottomans are in the new quality. So annoying as I was planning on new linen blinds next. What to do?

My husband and I went to RH outlet in Clearwater Florida, Sunday, 2/1/26, to look for an extra large coffee table. We saw 2 that we really liked, one was $1,230 & the other $1,050, which was more within our budget. When we got home we decided that we wanted the Oslo for $1,050. I called first thing Monday and Bryan said he could put my name on it if I picked it up in a few hours and I said okay. I called Bryan back a little later to ask if someone could help me load the table, and they said yes, so I rented a van. I called the store one more time later with my eta because I'm an hour away.

When I arrived they had moved the table closer to the front door and had me inspected it. When I was paying for the table I noticed on the sales agreement the price was changed from the day before and was increased to $1,505! I was taken totally off guard because I wasn't prepared to pay that much and now my husband is busy at work and it wasn't easy for me to go get this table by myself, besides having my heart set on it. I questioned the price and he showed me the discarded, crumpled up, and hand-written tag, which was clearly changed from the day before. I didn't know what else to do but pay for it, and resolve it later with my husband, because I needed to get the rental truck back or I would suffer an additional charge. After speaking with my husband we decided we would call the store the next morning and speak to a manager to try to have them adhere to the price that was on the table that Sunday.

I called the next morning and spoke to Bryan who said that prices get changed all of the time and I questioned such a steep amount. He said he would speak to a manager and call me back, which he did, and told me that the table must've been marked incorrectly on Sunday and that his shift leader couldn't adjust the price, but that we could bring the table back. I don't know if that was in order to receive a refund or to get a credit. My husband thought that possibly by speaking to a manager in person it would be a better so he made a trip to the store the next day. He explained the situation to a different gentleman who he thought was the manager, because we've seen him there every time we have stopped in, and was told there's nothing that could be done about the price, and oddly enough, that we could not bring the table back at all!

I understand that it's an outlet store and the differences in policy, but I don't think that it's good business to change a price tag somewhere between closing time on Sunday to sometime on Monday, and then not mention it during any of the 3 phone conversations that we had, before I arrived there, an hour away, with a moving van, extremely excited to be getting this beautiful, almost 300 pound, coffee table.

We had an amazing initial visit with Restoration Hardware's Roseville team- Dee and Kathryn **. From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely welcomed and cared for. They were attentive, thoughtful, and intentional in creating a comfortable experience — offering water, inviting us into a private meeting space, and taking the time to truly listen. We also appreciated how inclusive and respectful the environment felt. We left feeling valued, excited, and confident about moving forward. Highly recommend.

A few years ago, I bought a RH reclaimed wood, VERY rustic, planked dining table on an iron pipe base. It has scars, split wood, dents, etc. as planned. Supposedly it was reclaimed from some river. I wanted rustic. However, there is something deeply imbedded in the wood that I cannot clean. From the start, very wipe or washing completely stains the cloths. I have no idea how to solve and just covered the table. RH customer care has been useless. Due to concerns about toxicity, I give up.

Updated on 11/17/2025: We are extremely disappointed with our recent experience with HR. This is the second home we have furnished with HR, we came back because we trusted the brand and appreciated the quality of their furniture. Unfortunately, this time, it has been THE WORST EXPERIENCE WE HAVE EVER HAD. The level of communication has been completely UNACCEPTABLE. After expending a significant amount of money and time, we have been left frustrated and disappointed.

Two representatives from RH's corporate office contacted us, assuring that they would personally help us to resolve our issues. However, after that first contact, WE NEVER HEARD FROM THEM AGAIN. NO FOLLOW-UP, NO UPDATES AND NO SOLUTION. We have been waiting for a proper response ever since. We hope RH takes responsibility and addresses our concerns as loyal returning customers. What once was a brand we trusted has become an experience full of neglect and poor customer care.

Original review: We are very disappointed with the service from Restoration Hardware (HR). While the furniture quality is excellent, messages are ignored, calls are no returns, and it seems there is no care of passion for their work.

I used to be the happy owner of a RH European white down comforter but following their washing and drying instructions, and despite having the down sewn into individual squares, the feathers migrated and now I have squares that have down and many others that do not. When I spoke to customer service, despite having the original cover the comforter came in, their UPC tag and the washing instructions tag, apparently without the original sales tag (who keeps that???) they would do nothing and were very blasé about my problem. As a result they have lost one customer and I hope many others based on their non-service.....

Let me first start off by saying we have been buying from RH for years. I have never had an issue with their product till now. We just purchased thousands of living room furniture from them and every time it comes theirs and issue with the fabric. Runs in the fabric, small holes starting, snags, list goes on. My problem is this didn't happen once we are on our 3rd switch of fabric...2nd switch of fabric all together to see if something gives. Well it's not...same issues with this. RH quality in my opinion has completely gone down hill. We contacted our sales person at RH whom has been very kind.. Said she talked to her team. They would give us 500.00 off. Talk about a slap in the face. Keep that 500!!

Make it right RH. Get it together. I'm going on every social media platform and letting them know our experience. Your furniture is NOT worth the money you pay period!!! People save up to buy your Brand and expect to have quality pieces. Don't know where you have fallen off but you have missed the mark completely here.

Met with the gallery manager yesterday. While the situation is still ongoing, he listened to my concerns and made reasonable suggestions towards resolving the issue.

      Original Review: Aug. 4, 2025

I ordered two Italia Leather Track Arm Two-Cushion Sofa - Burnished Bronze Base at full price in June 2025. Upon delivery, there were black marks on many of the cushions and various parts of the sofa. I promptly contacted the RH gallery where I ordered the sofas, sent pics and was told the marks are natural scarring of the hides. I believe that marks are the result of the delivery. The delivery truck did not have a lift gate and the deliverers had to drag the box off the back of the truck. The sofa is wrapped in a dark plastic and I believe it transferred to the leather while being drug off the truck. The sofas were exchanged. The new sofas are showing the exact same black marks. The exchanged sofas will be sent to an RH outlet where they will be sold at a 50% discount.

I've offered to accept the current set of sofas as-is if I am offered the same discount. I've been told that is not an option and I can either exchange or return the sofas. The frustrating part for me is that someone else will get my sofas for half-off and I am not being offered the same opportunity, even though I was willing to pay full price. Absolutely ridiculous.
