My movers were on time and they got the work done in a hurry but without breaking anything. They were also courteous to all of us which may not matter to everyone but it sure makes a huge difference to me. Another thing I noted was that they make sure to ask you how and where you want something fragile or expensive-looking moved instead of just assuming they know best. That gives me some inner peace knowing my things are being cared for by the people who are lifting and moving them. Altogether a very good move characterized by hard work and smart movers. I am confident that I will hire them again.

I love this company! We have hired them several times now and this move was to shift my office from Tennessee to White Plains, MD. (United Nation Van Lines had done our home move last month the same way) While there was much less stuff than my 5 bedroom house, a lot of it was bulky, fragile and expensive equipment, especially copiers, PCs and coffee makers, etc. I think United Nation Van Lines did a very good job of packing all those things to ensure they were safely protected when they were being moved. Delivery was done specifically on a weekend at my request because of the better traffic situation at the new office location. I am very happy they could accommodate us and I would gladly hire them again.

A huge THANK YOU from our family to everyone at United Nation Van Lines who helped us make our recent move so successful and stress-free. We were moving from Missouri to Texas after spending almost a decade there. As you can imagine, that means a heck of a lot of boxes for a family of 5! It was no big deal for the pros at United Nation Van Lines. The movers came, saw and loaded. Their crew was fast, polite and very capable at their job. We are very happy how they completed the job on time. I recommend this company simply because I would hire them again myself based on how well they did this time.

United Nation Van Lines was very helpful when they stepped in to complete a moving job that I had contracted out to another company that went bankrupt halfway through. They picked up the slack, got the job done safely, and almost met the original deadline, too. It was a phenomenal effort and I really appreciate the hard work and effort that they invested in our move. Even though the deadline was not met, it was through no fault of United Nation Van Lines – they would have finished way ahead of schedule if I had hired them right from the start. With the fantastic job they did, I know I can trust them to be my first choice for my next move.

DO NOT HIRE. Hired this company to move us from AZ to AR. Paid for them to pack our items as we had many trinkets and fragile items. Many items were broken and missing including a dresser. They did not pack many items just threw them in a box which is why they were broken. Most of the boxes were unlabeled, smashed and torn. They took no care in anything they did. We had advised and signed a contract that we would not be in AR till a specific date. 3 days prior to the date they called and said they were delivering the next day, when I stated NO that was not what we agreed. They started threatening us and stated we agreed to the earlier time. I asked to send me that document and they could not.
They then threw all our items in a storage locker (not the one we rented) and did not tell us for 4 weeks. I kept calling asking where our stuff was and they said they did not know. When they finally told us it would be delivered to our storage locker we found out it had been sitting less than 1 mile from us. When they finally moved it from that locker to ours we found items that did not belong to us. There was a business card in that items so I contacted that person and they had a very similar experience. I will be filing a complaint with they company for compensation for all the missing, lost, broken and damaged items.

Here is a company that really knows how to engage with its customers and keep everyone apprised of the latest developments with their move. That was very important for us because we were moving from two separate locations in New Jersey to a single shared house in Georgia. We hired United Nation Van Lines to do the entire move because it was simpler having a single point of contact. United Nation Van Lines proved itself more than capable of the task, picking up all the individual boxes from the separate rooms from two different houses and then delivering to the exact right room in the new house in Georgia. It was all very professionally handled within no loss or damage. I would use this company again.

I decided to hire United Nation Van Lines based on a recommendation from several colleagues who had moved from NC to FL (we were moving the other way). They said that this company is known for its reasonable pricing despite delivering faster than many of its competitors and charging very reasonable rates. That is absolutely true. They are as reliable as any movers that I have ever used before. The people are nice to deal with and always made us feel privileged to be dealing with them. Overall, it was a very enjoyable move, as far as moves go! I have seen for myself how good they are and I would recommend them to anyone moving between Florida and North Carolina.

I am rarely impressed by the service industry but the United Nation Van Lines team really is something special. They were so good with their packing that none of our things had a drop of water on them despite being unloaded in some pretty heavy rain at our new place in California. I am so happy with that! No review of United Nation Van Lines would be complete with also mentioning their office team. They make the magic happen and don’t get enough credit. Full marks.

It’s hard not to give 5 stars when someone exceeds your expectations by such a long shot. (Given of course that my expectations had been severely lowered based on my previous experiences with movers!) All I know is that for the first time in my life, after about 10 interstate moves, I am finally happy with the service I got. That really counts for a lot. I have no problems recommending United Nation Van Lines to anyone who will listen. Personally, I would hire again the first chance I get.

A very responsive customer service phone support and great attitude by the entire United Nation Van Lines team has me grading them 5 stars. They were initially not even on my shortlist until someone told me they were one of the best. I thought from that statement that they would be very expensive but they aren’t! One of the most affordable options for a moving company and yet one of the most efficient. I have no complaints at all and would hire them again in a jiffy. Good Christmas present for me. Thanks.

No damage to anything, delivered right on time, polite moving crew, excellent office team, perfect experience. Those 5 things earn United Nation Van Lines this 5 star review. No doubt about it, I am going be a repeat customer for this fabulous company. Kudos guys.

Literally the best movers I have ever had the pleasure of hiring. They were very careful with my boxes that I packed myself and packed some of the other loose items with their own material for added protection. Unsurprisingly, it all arrived unscathed by the long journey from Georgia to Ohio. I would have been ready to pay more for this level of excellence but United Nation Van Lines is a very reasonably priced company. I rate them 5 stars and recommend them highly.

I contacted United Nation Van Lines as well as 4 other moving companies and United Nation Van Lines offered us the best rate of the bunch. However, the more important thing is that they charged us that price at the end, too. Take note, not all movers do that and many make their money by conning you with an undervalued quote and jacking up the extra charges after they have your things. This company by contrast is honest and forthcoming. I trust them enough to rehire them.

The movers were very careful with our things, and they used good quality boxes and packing material. We watched them at work at our old house in Alabama and it was like watching people who own the things themselves handling the packing. When they unloaded and unpacked, they showed the same gentle attitude. It was enough for my wife and I to decide that we will definitely hire them if we need to move again. I recommend this company.

Since it was my first time hiring pro movers, I went the extra mile and looked up over 10 movers who serviced our area. The reason I chose United Nation Van Lines was that they were honest about their pricing when I asked for a quote. Just 2 other companies were as forthcoming but both their quotes were about 10% higher so I chose United Nation Van Lines. I don’t know how well other would have performed but these guys were superb. NO complaints, 5 stars.

We were moving from California to Oregon and decided to change movers because our old ones had overcharged us for the two previous moves. No such nonsense from United Nation Van Lines. We hired United Nation Van Lines for a relatively simple job this time. We had already packed our things to be moved into storage as we are heading off for a family reunion in Europe and will spend 3 months traveling there before my kids go to college. United Nation Van Lines just sent a team of two movers to get the boxes and transport them to a storage facility in Greer, SC. They arrived, loaded the things within an hour and left. Next thing we know, everything’s arrived at the facility 2 days early. Just more of the amazing, speedy work that United Nation Van Lines is known for.

There is a simple rule I follow: when in doubt, hire United Nation Van Lines. I have hired them off and on for a few years now and have found that every move they handle for me gets completed without a hitch. I hired United Nation Van Lines to move my mom from her home in Ohio to her brother’s place in Maryland. The old home had a lot of stuff that had to be moved to storage, too, and we hired another local movers for that. Those movers messed up big time, broke things, were late and overcharged us. United Nation Van Lines did its part flawlessly. The difference could not be starker between a good and bad moving company. I really regret not hiring United Nation Van Lines for both parts – it seemed cheaper before but now has ended up costing us more. I won’t make that mistake again.

United Nation Van Lines gets stars for my move and they fully deserve each one. They are good across the board but the main reason that prompted me to write this review is the fact that they were so clear about what each package includes and what it doesn’t. There is no confusion about what you will have to pay at the end. The other thing is that they are very particular about sticking to schedules. Our pickup was made on the dot and the delivery was done right in the middle of the window they gave us. I would hire them again.

I give United Nation Van Lines full marks overall for doing a fantastic move despite some poor weather. I wish they were a little cheaper than they are but I guess you have to compromise somewhere. Note though that the compromise isn’t that severe – you can find many moving companies that are not as good as United Nation Van Lines charging the same amount, if not more. The team that they have in their office is also excellent. Very helpful with queries and always ready to help. I will certainly be recommending United Nation Van Lines to anyone who needs to hire movers. More than that, I will definitely rehire them myself.

A 5 star move by United Nation Van Lines that really helped us out. We hired United Nation Van Lines to move our 2 bedroom Mississippi house to Ohio. You simply can’t go wrong with United Nation Van Lines. That is a simple but vital lesson I have learned over the past few years as I have moved across the country. Every time I have hired them, I have had a positive experience. Every time I hired others, there was drama over delays, extra charges, rude behaviour, etc. Every single time. I have learned my lesson the hard way – stick with United Nation Van Lines and everything will be right. If you aren’t convinced, just call them up and enquire, and then compare them to other movers. We hired United Nation Van Lines for our move from Roanoke, VA to Ocala, FL. The old house in Virginia was a small 2 bedroom flat so we didn’t have many things. However, we also had United Nation Van Lines collect the rest of our furniture and boxes where they were in storage in Florida and deliver them all together to our new 4 bedroom house. 5 stars again. I was introduced to United Nation Van Lines a few years ago and haven’t looked back since. They are not the cheapest option but that is a small consideration when you realize that you are entrusting everything in your house to movers from a moving company. You have to pay for honesty and reliability, and few companies come close to these guys in that regard. Combine that with the fact that they are always on time when picking up and delivering and you can see why I love them. A really reliable company that is very open with its customers about the most important factors when you are moving: time and cost. I could have chosen other movers who gave me lower quotes but I went with United Nation Van Lines because of their upfront attitude. It was a refreshing change from the (seemingly deliberate) obfuscation I got from virtually every other company I called. In my opinion, their best feature is their emphasis on doing everything right. They don’t cut corners with things like parking illegally for convenience, which in the case of my old house in Chicago, IL meant that they had to move things further. Stay away from this fraudulent outfit!!!! They misrepresent their services (of course also price) completely; their sales rep Darrell ** stated that the move would take 10-14 days from California to New Hampshire; that was also confirmed ("0-17 days") on their written estimate but when the truck was loaded and we were handed the actual contract, it listed in small print that they reserve the right to take up to 30 business days to ship from their local warehouse!!!! And that, 30 days from the first available date provided by us that they could deliver! There was no mention of any warehousing in their initial sales pitch! Later on said Darrell ** admitted to me when I was expressing my surprise and outrage at the delays, that this has been their "busiest summer in 20 years"... So he knew perfectly well that his "promise" of two weeks was a lie!
And of course didn't mention any possibility of delays when he was vying to get my business!!! But that's nothing. They picked up our furniture on August 5th. Thirty days came and went, they left a message on my voicemail that the goods would be leaving the warehouse on 9/25. Today is 10/15, twenty days later, nothing! They do not pick up the phone ("problems" with the phone system). Do not respond to messages left for them. No idea when and how this will get here. We have been without our household goods for ALMOST TWO AND A HALF MONTHS. There are multiple complaints against them in Ohio, California, Florida, and legitimate review sites are also full of similar stories, long delays, broken and stolen items, nonexistent customer service. Frankly I do not know where ConsumerAffairs is getting these glowing "reviews" of the company...

Avoid this company at all costs! They are fraudulent, unethical, and don't follow public health guidelines. They stole our $3500 deposit. We had paid our deposit in advance, as instructed. The two movers arrived. We asked them to please wear masks inside of our home. They refused, despite us reminding them it was both current CDC (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention) and OSHA (Occupational and Safety and Health Administration) guidelines to wear a mask indoors in areas of high transmission (which applied to the city in which we lived). We are both doctors and know these guidelines well. In addition, we had an unvaccinated 6-month-old baby in the house so this was especially important to us in addition to the guidelines mentioned above. They continued to refuse to wear masks. The lead mover said he didn't believe in science.
We called the customer service line and no one called us back. This was Saturday. We left repeated messages and no one returned our calls. The movers left for the day and said they would be back the next day but that customer service would agree with them. The next morning, we did get a call from Nadine, who I see online is their top-most customer service representative. At first she told us they would only wear masks while doing paperwork, not while moving furniture. We again told her that was not good enough and referred to CDC and OSHA guidelines. We asked to her to please send a team that would wear masks, otherwise we just wanted our deposit back. She called the movers and then called us back and said they had agreed to wear masks inside. The movers rang the doorbell and said Nadine had never said they had to wear masks while moving furniture, just while doing paperwork.
Given this obvious discrepancy, we put Nadine on speaker phone with all of us where it became obvious she was telling each of us different things. Nadine then said that because it was Sunday, it would be better to resolve this on Monday. She gave us her personal extension (later we found out this extension was wrong) and said she would help resolve it the next day when she was in the office. She told us to send an email to the ‘cancel link’ and we told her we would not – we were not canceling the move, we just wanted a team who would follow basic public health measures or we wanted our deposit back. The movers left. No one called us on Monday.
We called repeatedly and left many messages. Nadine’s “extension” was not really her extension. Finally we got in touch with another customer service agent who had not yet been involved, Tina. We explained the situation and she said she had to get in touch with Nadine and dispatch about sending us another moving team and she would call us back in 30 minutes. She never called. Again we called many times and left many messages. Late in the afternoon Monday Tina again answered the phone. She said she had never said she would call us back in 30 minutes. She also said that the notes in our file said that the movers had agreed to wear masks the entire time, and my husband would not let them in the house because he didn’t trust them.
Thus they had fulfilled their contract, no one else would be coming, and they would not be refunding our $3500. This was a complete lie, as they never agreed to wear masks the entire time (only while signing paperwork) and conveniently lied about is so they wouldn't have to refund our money. Tina said Nadine wasn’t available and no other supervisor or manager was available but that someone would call us since we were understandably upset. Shockingly, no one ever returned our calls and we never got in touch with Nadine.
Simply put, this fraudulent company stole $3500 of ours in deposit and lied about it so they wouldn’t have to refund it. This company uses deceitful, unethical business practices and does not follow public health guidelines as published by CDC and OSHA. We thought following these guidelines would be common sense, but now in looking back, many other companies publish their approach to preventing COVID-19 transmission on their website, while this company says nothing about it. Clearly your health is not their concern. Their customer service is terrible. They don't answer the phones or avoid calling you back if you have any issues. And they will outright lie in order to keep your deposit. Never use this company.

United Nation Van Lines put a lot of effort into my move and gave us the best moving experience that we could have wished for. However, I think their best feature is their competitive rates which give you far more than you would think. I have paid much more for smaller moves before this. (This was a 2-bedroom house being moved to Florida from Maryland.) The office manager is a great guy with a really good customer-oriented view on things. It was always a pleasure to speak to him and have things clarified. He is definitely a huge part of the reason that I recommend United Nation Van Lines to my friends. 5 stars all the way.

We hired United Nation Van Lines for a full-service move from San Francisco, CA to Dallas, TX. That includes all packing, loading, and transport as well as unpacking and arrangement of boxes and furniture at the destination. Basically, you don’t have to lift a finger and your entire 4-bedroom houses ups and moves itself to another state. I have to say that the package was a tad on the expensive side but when I compare it to the level of comfort and convenience, there is no question that I would use it again. The moving crew was very proficient at their job and it showed. By doing such a fantastic job, they have earned my loyalty and this 5 stars review for their company.

I am very happy to recommend United Nation Van Lines since they did a wonderful job with our move. I had contacted them upon a friend’s recommendation and instantly felt like they were a capable bunch after talking to their customer service person. She helped me choose the right package for my needs and gave me an estimate (that turned out to be very accurate at the end). My movers were a team of 3 men in their 20s. They packed up our 3-bedroom house within a few hours. They then completed the drive from Knoxville, TN down to Colorado a full day ahead of schedule. We received all our items and of the boxes we’ve opened, nothing is damaged. Recommended.

This is our 8th move and by far the worst. I hired this company to move my belongings not to destroy them. There are some chips and scratches here and there and then there are broken parts that cannot be repaired. There isn't a single piece of furniture that is not damaged. Their customer service is horrible and unfriendly, they will not return calls, their phone system is an indication of how things work there and their email probably does not go anywhere because they do not reply.
It all started on September 22nd when some guy shows up in an unmarked Enterprise rented 26 foot truck. Then three hired help show up to supply muscle. They get the stuff loaded and then leave. They will not hand you a copy of the inventory or other paperwork you have to take pictures, you must pay in cash, money order or backdraft. The inventory was done after the loading off the cuff and from memory, very unprofessional and completely inaccurate. The estimate went up from 8k to 12k and then 14k. They charge by the square foot and not the weight. We were ok with paying the amount expecting to have our belongings delivered as they were when they were picked up.
After he left, crickets, you won't hear from them and they will not inform you of the progress of the move. You don't know where your belongings are and you will not have a definite unloading date and time. This company cannot be trusted and will damage your belongings. I will never deal with these guys again and so should you. United Nation Van Lines movers has been nothing but a nightmare and a horrible experience.

It was great to watch our 3 movers get to work and then not waste any time in doing a good job, fast but safely, too. You can really tell the difference when you have professionals working because everything runs so smoothly. There are no pauses to figure out how to do stuff, just a continuous stream of action that get the job completed. I have seen some of the other reviews for this company that say that they are expensive. I would give this company a 1 star rating, however, the packers and delivery people were their saving grace with regards to their friendliness but that is all. Customers need to be aware that the packers or movers are not employees of United Nation Van Lines but subcontracted so it would seem that quality of service or liability is not guaranteed; possibly because of COVID and inability of to hire workers. However, that is beside the point. The main point here is the unresponsiveness of United Van Lines, evasiveness, and delayed delivery.
Pickup was on 7/12/2021 and completed as scheduled, packers (contracted) were somewhat sloppy with packing items and completed packing approximately 2 rooms of furniture plus 40+ prepacked boxes in 2 hours. I was told by Ron (United Nations Van Lines rep/scheduler) to be ready to receive goods in AZ by 7/19 give or take 1 or 2 days. As a result, instead of a leisurely travel from No. California to AZ, I immediately left CA on 7/17/2021, after signing the title papers from the sale of my home.
By 7/22 no delivery, no response to my calls (from Ron or any of the phone numbers listed on invoice). 7/26 made contact but customer service call was dropped and no response when redialed. Made daily calls thereafter but still no response until 7/30 when I was told delivery was being scheduled; subsequent calls I was told it was being loaded, or driver will call when he was in the area. All untruths.
Long story short, my household goods were finally delivered 8/20 by a recently hired subcontracted driver who informed me that my goods had been sitting in an LA warehouse. This person also asked that I pay a portion in cash because it would take United Nation Van Lines 2 or more weeks to reimburse him for the rental of truck and pay him but I refused. I also have noticed, in reading other reviews, that I more than likely have been overcharged. A reviewer stated that their move from Washington to Texas was a little more $4K for 2 rooms of furniture; whereas, I paid $5K plus for relatively the same amount, shorter distance, and with a senior citizen discount! I certainly will not recommend using their services to anyone!

United Nation Van Lines moved us from Georgia to Maryland and we are extremely pleased with the wonderful job that they did. Our 3 bedroom apartment on the ground floor in GA was a relatively easy affair but the maisonette in MD we moved into has stairs and pretty narrow hallways which complicates things when you are moving large furniture and appliances. After the movers had finished, I took an inspection of the place and found that they had left no scuff marks or damage on both the walls and the floors. Great job!

We so regret hiring United Nation Van Lines. They were awarded after comparing to several other companies. We compared reviews/price and they had fewest bad reviews. However, I do not know how they could have such high reviews now, after our experience. There is nothing positive about them. Soon after we paid deposit, they called to verify they estimated low and needed more money to bring more packing material to avoid double charges, if we went over estimated Cu ft. Then they were a day late crew to start. They sent two different crews, which did not work together at all. They ended up taking 3 days to pack what they estimated would take 2 days. They broke several items that we found (They would not have told us). The 3rd day only 2 of 5 crew showed up and we had to help.
I tried contacting customer service, but they never answered until 3 weeks later. When we called for them to bring our belongings to new home, they confirmed they could not deliver until 4 weeks later, due to peak season. Once they did delivered our belongings, we found many items broken or damaged. We are now in process of filing an insurance claim. Damage was due to poor packing (not wrapping of items that were broke or not using blankets properly). We are still unpacking what they were supposed to unpack (furniture). We would not recommend this company to anyone.

With each contact telling us of additional delays, each representative asked if we wanted to “cancel”. Cancelling means we’d forfeit our nearly $3,000 deposit.
Ultimately, on 8/7, when we had an email that movers would present between 11 am and 2 pm, we were contacted after 2 to say that there was a “problem with the truck” and the representative “hoped“ someone would be there “before dark.” We assumed at this point that no one was going to show up and made other arrangements. We hired United Nation Van lines to move from California to Texas. It all started well with lot of promise. In fact, the pick up was on time and packing was decent and hence the two stars. The shocker part is waiting for the delivery and not knowing whether and when things will get delivered. After nearly four weeks of pickup, I am still waiting and do not know when my shipment will actually arrive... Customer care is nonexistent. The calls mostly do not get answered and there is no call back if you leave a voicemail. The lady who picks up very occasionally has mostly no clue about when the shipment will get scheduled. At this point, I am hoping my items will arrive at some point... with hope getting lost daily.
Have been sleeping on the floor with no furniture and no household items past three weeks... and not sure how long this is going to last. If customer service can't tell me when my delivery is likely to get scheduled and cannot give me a estimated delivery date, it shows that the company is not equipped to move things reliably. I don't know what else to say. I really hope I get my items delivered...Fingers crossed.

– “We had not changed what we were moving”. This statement is not entirely true to say the least. Original Estimate was given for 164 items to be transported. Revised estimate – 194. 20% increase. Despite our attempt to give as accurate estimate es possible (viewing photos of each room from MLS listing online) customer still fail to provide us with ADDITIONAL 156 items that we picked up.
Never received a response to multiple messages I left on several different voicemails/extensions.
– We apologize for that, and we will look into it.
Everything above their estimate was charged at twice the pack rate. They were unwilling to provide any real discount to help rectify the situation.
– Customer had promotional price for packing during the booking process. Additional packing was done according to our tariff. Customer was aware of that and signed that disclosure at least twice. Why it is a surprise now – we don’t understand.
They also told us they would deliver the next day which they did not. After pick up we were informed that delivery would be in 3 days vs next day.
– That statement is not true at all. The distance between pickup and delivery is about 800 miles. It would take at least 16 hours to drive. Without stopping for gas, food or any rest.
We are regulated by DOT and DOL and we are NOT allowed to drive more that 11 hours a day. So, no one would make a promise like that.
- On top of that our estimated delivery window to GA from PA is 10 business days. Customer also was aware of that because they signed for it at least twice.
The movers themselves were great- Efficient, careful, polite. I would not use this company to move again.
– We are sorry to hear that customer would not use our company again, and we do appreciate being honest and giving our movers great review.

I practice punctuality in my own life and I like it when the companies I deal with respect my time. In that sense, United Nation Van Lines is the best moving company out there. They have always turned up on time and finished the job either on time or ahead of schedule. The second factor I like is that they dress neatly and speak professionally. No part-time college students, just real movers who do this job every day and know it inside out. The only downside would be that they are more expensive than other movers. If you can afford it, hire them.

Lots of stars for being able to handle a home with 2 adults, 5 children and a nanny. We had an entire mountain of things to be moved from our 4-bedroom Louisiana house to a bigger one in Florida. We needed professionals and United Nation Van Lines comes highly recommended by all the people who have used them before. Our house was magically transformed into a thousand boxes and loaded on their truck within a few short hours. The delivery was right on schedule and there was no damage despite the speed at which they worked. I can recommend them strongly enough.

Volume of moved items – original estimate by sales person 3000 cf after viewing house, QA rep estimate 4200 cf after viewing relator.com photos (no basement or garage), actual volume approx. 3800 cf after pictures of van and partially empty boxes. “Will only have to pay for actual volume” per estimator and QA rep – had to pay for full truck – 4200 cf or driver would not start to unload. See picture of empty space in van – six sections near rear of van were only partially filled - about 1/3 – yet claimed the van was full. Total empty space was about 400 cf., not counting space at top of van in adjacent sections. Request refund for 400 cf – have pictures.
2. QA rep stated that final payment could be by money order, cash, or Zelle (not possible due to limitations on amounts). Driver demanded cash, but reluctantly accepted money order, and threatened to hold all items hostage until paid before unloading started.
3. QA rep stated that if not paid for full load prior to move, some items would be left behind or increased prices for volume and packing materials – coercion to increase price. An additional cost of $6,000 was required for a total of almost $22,000. The original estimator stated that 3000 cf was sufficient, but QA stated a full truck was required and the move would cost more based merely upon realtor’s photos. Is this standard procedure – low estimate to obtain contract and then switch afterward to increase price? We were requested to decide on the volume. Is it standard procedure to require the customer to decide on the required volume?
4. All movers were assured, more than once, to be company employees, but local laborers were hired to pack and load and only local laborers to unload. The only company employee was the lead packer. The driver was a wildcatter.
5. We were informed that a company truck would be utilized for the move – van and tractor were from wildcatter.
6. Lead packer was focused on kitchen packing and did not effectively supervise the laborers on the second floor.
7. None of the dish pack boxes were provided with packing inserts, which resulted in numerous broken items. Heavy items were placed on top of delicate items resulting in damage.
8. Special packing for expensive and antique items was requested and acknowledged by the estimator and the lead packer; however, this was not done for a number of special items and damage was incurred to those items, such as a crystal chandelier.
9. We supposedly paid for a full pack, which was to include emptying of all drawers and special wrapping of delicate items. This was not performed.
10. The wooden desk drawers were not emptied and packed which resulted in damage to the interior wood supports and guides of the desk drawers and top.
11. We requested documentation of the packed inventory when leaving but was refused (they took a picture of the first page of the contract with my camera, stating that all docs were provided only electronically). We still have not received the electronic documentation. We had a heated discussion about lack of documentation and refusal to provide information about names of senior personnel of company for complaint purposes. All of our belongings were sent and we had no documentation. We were informed that lead packer and driver only knew first names. “Documentation” consisted of a scrap of paper with driver’s first name written on it. The lead packer and driver refused to provide names or contact information of senior personnel so a complaint could be made. The packing “inventory” merely consisted of a hand-written arrow that ran through several pages. No identification of the boxes or count was conducted.
12. None of the boxes were numbered and the majority of boxes were not marked – lead packer had to borrow marker for the few boxes that were identified.
13. A number of boxes were not full. More than 8 boxes were 2/3 full (one was nearly empty and contained movers’ trash – water bottles, wrappers, etc. Excessive use of wardrobe boxes was used (o maximize volume in the van?)
14. Broken items include, but not limited to are: statue of thinker, vases, plates, saucers, lamps, figurines, dressers, desk, antique cabinet, clocks, four poster bed, four antique lamp shades (packed without wrappings). Damage was incurred by the absence of packing material, limited packing materials, or careless placing of items that caused damage due to contact.
15. Kitchen antique ice cream stools (iron) were mishandled and the sliders on the feet were displaced (one was found in the street). The chairs damaged the wood floor in the kitchen eating area.
16. Scratches were made to the wood flooring in the Family Room, Front Hall and Living Room because runners were not placed down until the driver told the hired laborers that they scratched the floor.
17. A number of boxes had small items that were not wrapped, just thrown into box.
18. Moving tape had been applied to an antique picture frame and caused damage wh. en removed.
19. Various parts from several items were packed together randomly and not marked. Example: grandfather clock parts were packed in five separate boxes and none were marked. Weights and pendulum were not wrapped. Winding chains were not secured and no protection for the mechanism was provided.
20. Requested special packing for ceiling crystal chandelier – not done – it was just placed into box with other items without packing and was not wrapped separately. Damage was incurred including a displaced missing crystal. The chandelier will have to be re-wired as five of the eight lights were damaged and do not work.
21. Grandfather clock was not packed properly – chains and mechanism were not protected. The weights, pendulum and finial were packed separately but not marked. We were assured that they knew how to pack grandfather clocks and other clocks as well. None of the clocks were packed properly.
22. Direct TV receivers were to be separated for return (lead pacer was reminded); however, the receivers were packed in separate, unmarked boxes - still looking for them.
23. Antique wall clock was not packed properly – not wrapped. Pendulum packed separately but box not marked. Clock damaged – will not run and will have to take to clock repair shop.
24. Another wall clock was damaged (broken trim) as it was not packed properly – loosely placed into box without wrapping.
25. Mantle clock was not packed properly – wood trim was damaged, will need to repair.
26. Antique carved wooden lamp was damaged – part was fractured and broken off.
27. Damaged 4-poster bed - chips and scratches.
28. Damaged desk – scratches, chips, scrapes
29. Damaged two dressers – scratches
30. Damaged antique cabinet – broken rear panel
31. Driver was impatient to leave so the final packing was rushed and items were not marked.
32. Many items were not wrapped and were just placed loosely in boxes.
33. Statue of Rodan’s “Thinker” had been placed unwrapped in box and was broken into two pieces.
34. A number of boxes exhibited severe damage.
35. A number of antique silk lamp shades were destroyed due to poor packing (nested without packing).
36. Many un-marked boxes were placed randomly during the unloading and due to the large number of unloaders, items were placed about the house and garage without concern for the locations.
37. Boxes marked “this end up” were stacked and loaded in random positions, including upside down.
38. No attempt was made to pack similar item in same boxes – random placement of disparate items in boxes - very difficult to organize while unpacking.
39. Expensive bed coverings were used for packing materials and not packed separately.
40. Packers used $10,000 mink coat as packing material - jammed around a shelf and a toy airplane.
41. Example of poor packing – computer and peripherals were packed in six different boxes.
42. Rush to finish packing and unloading resulted in disarray of unmarked boxes and difficulty for us to unpack in any type of order.
43. Used expensive bed coverings as packing material.
44. Placed antique wall clock in box without packing – special packing was requested and acknowledged but not done.
45. Antique silk lamp shade was not wrapped and jammed into box with wooden shelves – destroyed.
46. Antique lamp was packed in box with iron stool without wrapping – item damaged.
47. Tried to unload large furniture from front side door - would not fit – forced item with great effort.
48. Driver very impatient to unpack so he hired additional day laborers (per his comments) and as a result, beds and large 3-piece bookcase were not re-assembled, large three-piece bookcase was not re-assembled. Bolts to secure sections and shelf supports had been placed in separate boxes unmarked. The unpackers (day laborers, not employees as promised) were hired to expedite unloading in order to leave for California on another trip to haul freight (per driver comments).
49. Bolt for day bed was bent due to rough handling. Bed was not re-assembled. The pull-out sofa bed was not re-assembled.
50. The items were not inventoried or counted – just unidentified sheets without numbers or identification. The main sheet (first page) was not provided – we were allowed to take a photo of the sheet and it was promised that the sheet would be sent to us. To date it has not arrived. We were informed that no listing or markings were necessary as all items were from our house.
51. Specialty bed leg carpet protectors – three of four are missing.
52. Designer large coffee table wood mesh tray chipped.
53. Waterford crystal glasses (2) – chipped, broken stem - poor packing. No dish pack inserts.
54. Vintage chair – canning was caved in and decorative wood top piece broken off from chair.
55. Packed delicate pottery in bottom of carton with heavy items on top – 4 pieces shattered – minimal packing around items.

5 stars again from us for United Nation Van Lines. We run a small real estate company in Texas and were looking to set up shop in Arizona. We had hired United Nation Van Lines to help with our clients’ home moves before but this time, it was our own office move. They transported a lot of office equipment as well as some boxes of personal effects of the staff moving to AZ. With the new office up and running now, we know that nothing was damaged along the way. We were put in touch with Connor and he managed to put us at ease as we had a bad moving experience once in 9 moves. This was the absolute worst move we have ever had. The movers were supposed to pack on a Monday and load on Tuesday..a woman called to say they had a full crew and would be packing and loading on Tuesday. 3 men was their full crew. A little while into packing Alex said it was going to cost more and stopped the other guys from packing until we agreed to pay more money for the move..He did that two more times. You know you're in a situation so we felt forced to agree..Needless to say the move went up 5k from the original estimate. And I will add I told them all of my items and over estimated.
The truck they showed up with couldn't fit all of our stuff and Alex said at the end that I had to decide. Two workbenches, a garage refrigerator, and 4 rugs were not able to be moved. By the time all was said and done both of our cars were jam packed with stuff they didn't pack (a bathroom, pictures they left on the walls, and other items). The two guys that came to deliver a day late due to truck issues were much better..however it wasn't the truck that our home was originally packed on. After opening every box we discovered that there are many items missing.
My jewelry box, jewelry that must have fallen out of the jewelry armoire, all my makeup, all my nail polishes, drawers of personal stuff from the master bathroom, my hairdryer, luggage, Towels, watches and a tray from my MB. Needless to say I am beside myself. I have called and left messages for the guy who delivered and Customer Service and have gotten no response. My advice is to find another company. I am going to pursue recourse.

This is definitely not a common trait among most movers that I have seen. The people factor also ranks highly with this company. Their staff is polite and knowledgeable. My wife and I THOUGHT we were getting a reputable and professional company and in the beginning we had high hopes. The people who booked our move and the follow up lady was very attentive and easy to deal with. It wasn’t until the actual moving men showed up when I started feeling “funny.” When you get one or two guys start making statements about being “taken cared of” at the start of a move, you start feeling uneasy. I had to ask to have certain items blanket wrapped and in their defense, they were eventually done, but I don’t think I should have had to ask. In fact blanket wrap and shrink wrap should have been done on every piece of furniture automatically. I had taken it upon myself to go out and buy my own blankets and 4 rolls of shrink wrap and I wrapped and shrink wrapped at least 3-4 pieces myself prior to the movers showing.
I also broke down several big pieces of furniture to make things easier for the men. Anyway, as the truck is being loaded, I get updates from the movers foreman (who was actually very professional and apologetic) that my original estimate was going up and it might end up being close to $3000 more than originally estimated! Obviously, this ruined the entire experience for me and my wife, as our belongings were now deep in the confines of a 26 foot truck that I could have rented from Uhaul for about $3500! Estimating a move based on weight or space is to me, a rip off.
Again, the foreman or lead mover was being as cordial and professional as he could be because honestly, I was very upset and his office places him to hear the complaints from the customer. If I would have rented a Uhaul and paid for their professional helpers on the other end, I’d still be better off price wise. Anyway, I could tell one of the guys in the original crew wasn’t to happy when I came out and said I hope no one was expecting to be tipped BEFORE the job is completed and delivered. Who tips like this before a job is done?? You get tipped when the items are delivered and everything is as damage free as possible, plain and simple. I got an answer that they may not be the same guys at the end, and to me, that’s not my problem.
Well when I got my furniture delivered, there was one dining room chair that had a nice gouge taken out of it. I had some dings and dents to other pieces of solid wood tops and my $800 mountain bike decided to lose its $50 aluminum kickstand. And when you’re asked, “are you sure you had a kickstand?” That in and of itself tells me you don’t deserve to be tipped. But because the lead guy was back on delivery (hmmm I wonder why he was there and not the other two?) and he seemed like a good guy I did tip him and I actually tipped him well.
I will never use a moving company again, not unless they stop this silly stuff about weight and or space. A 26 foot truck would have fit all of the contents of my house but because the estimate number kept climbing, I was forced to leave items with the new homeowner who was only to thrilled to accept them. Oh yes, I am not sure these guys were even actual employees, I believe they were a third party moving company because the truck was a Ryder rental and no one had a shirt spouting the company logo. Again, I’ll never use a moving company again, get a better iron clad estimate or expect to be overcharged at the end.

Such a pathetic moving company. It is quite ironic that on their about us page it says a few people started this moving company with core values of reliability and speed. My experience with this company has been unreliable and slow. Quite frankly, it has sucked. Our belongings were picked up in Phoenix Arizona and to be moved to Clayton, North Carolina. Stuff was picked up on the evening of April 14th.
Today is Monday May 3rd, nearly 3 weeks later and our stuff still has not been loaded onto a truck for dispatch. My wife spoke to a Tina last Tuesday the 25th who told her it would be loaded and the truck would hit the road that day. I called Friday April 30th for an update and our stuff is still sitting in some Warehouse waiting to be loaded. When my wife spoke to tina, she could not tell us where our belongings were or even know what Warehouse they were in. That's quite pathetic. When I called Friday April 30th, Tina told me that it might be loaded early next week. She then called back and said it could happen this past weekend. It would then take 5 to 7 days to arrive. She is quite incompetent.
Today is Monday May 3rd and I called for another update. This woman was no help either. She said her belongings still had not been loaded and that she would contact me Wednesday for an update. This is a very incompetent company who does not do the job you pay them to do. They don't give a damn about you once you put down the initial deposit. Complaints have been filed with the better Business Bureau and the US department of transportation. I will keep hounding this company until we have answers and proof that our belongings are finally on the way to us. For whatever reason, our goods are being held hostage and no clear answer as to when we will ever receive them. They are pathetic and we are demanding answers.

This was a nightmare from start to finish. I went with United Nation Van Lines based on Consumer Affairs suggestion and it was the worst mistake I could have made. This company cares nothing about its customers. They pulled every dirty trick in the book to squeeze me for more money. I was originally quoted a reasonable rate but that ballooned thanks to hidden fees and ridiculous conditions hidden in their contract. For instance, they counted the seven steps to my apartment as a flight of stairs and count going up and then down as two flights in total. Absolutely absurd. They sucker you in by giving you what sounds like a decent rate and then pull out all the stops to try and make that number grow once you've signed a contract.
So on the day of my move three guys show up and the one in charge immediately tries to grift me saying I had more stuff than was estimated for. This was totally untrue as I was quoted for all my belongings AND 90 boxes worth of stuff. I moved 54 pieces total. And yet he claimed I would need 1,000 cubes of space, equaling half the space of a semi tractor trailer.
After a ton of back and forth, lo and behold the truck only used 1/4 of the space. This is an absolute grift to try and trick people into signing for extra space because they claim the estimate was wrong. They wanted more than $2,000 extra! I still couldn't get out of paying a bit extra because I just wanted my stuff moved and had to be out of my apartment the next day. They also charged me $150 for materials when they used a couple of cardboard boxes and a few rolls of tape. A total scam.
Now let's talk customer service. I'm convinced there is a circle of hell where your punishment is dealing with United Nation Van Lines customer service for eternity. The operators are extremely rude and dismiss your concerns as not their problem or "well, you should have read the contract". They couldn't even be bothered to give me more than a day's notice that they were coming and so I had to drop everything, both for pickup and delivery, to be ready for them in time.
When I complained they pretty much told me to go to hell. But I was already there. In a moving hell. It then took an entire month for my stuff to arrive. Numerous calls provided no answers. My belongings could have been on the moon for all I knew. I'm amazed they bothered to show up at all. Then after arriving they demanded an extra $500 or they wouldn't take my stuff off the truck.
They claimed that it was because they had to get a smaller truck and move my items onto it since a semi wouldn't fit on my street. Any reasonable company would have this included in their service, especially for a move that costs now more than $5,000. But this was just another opportunity for United to grift money off of me. The idea that it could cost $500 to rent a smaller truck locally and move two bedrooms worth of stuff onto it is simply outrageous. In my estimation they pocketed $300 in profit off of this alone.
The dispatcher threatened to take my stuff to a warehouse in Baltimore and I would have to come and get it if I didn't pay right then and there. If in 30 minutes I didn't cough up $2,000 in cash they would charge me an extra $150 in "waiting fees" per hour. Total mafia tactics. The dispatcher was threatening, belligerent, and rude. It's worth mentioning too that at both pickup and delivery there were zero COVID precautions. No masks. Nothing. "You know how hard it is to work all day with a mask on?" the dispatcher asked.
I plan to file a complaint with the consumer affairs department in my state and the Attorney General. This was an absolute scam from start to finish and even after paying them thousands of dollars they still treated me like garbage. You'd have better luck hiring a hot air balloon and try moving your belongings that way. Avoid United Nation Van Lines at all costs. Oh, and the most important box of my whole move showed up nearly crushed and all of my boxes and furniture were coated in a thick layer of grime from sitting around a warehouse for a month.
This was a nightmare from start to finish. I went with United Nation Van Lines based on Consumer Affairs suggestion and it was the worst mistake I could have made. This company cares nothing about its customers.
- Very strong statements but let’s see if any of them is true. They pulled every dirty trick in the book to squeeze me for more money.
- Customers estimate was $5767.00. Final charge $5426.50.I was originally quoted a reasonable rate but that ballooned thanks to hidden fees and ridiculous conditions hidden in their contract. For instance, they counted the seven steps to my apartment as a flight of stairs and count going up and then down as two flights in total. Absolutely absurd.
– Still don’t understand what customer is referring to. We charge one time for the flight of stairs, regardless of how many times our crew have to walk up or down. They sucker you in by giving you what sounds like a decent rate and then pull out all the stops to try and make that number grow once you've signed a contract.
– And again, we absolutely confused. We estimated total cost for the move to be $5767.00 and at the end we charged customer $5426.50. How and where did we inflated the price or hided the charges, we don’t understand.

A stellar performance worthy of 5 stars by an extraordinary company. United Nation Van Lines moved us to Florida from Georgia and it was a pleasure to have them do such a fantastic job with so much care. We were initially pretty surprised that they only sent a 3-person team to move our 4-bedroom house even after doing a personal assessment of the volume of items. However, the 3 men were very capable and it did not seem like a problem to them at all. In fact, they even completed the loading phase faster than expected. I would use this company again.

I arranged two moves with United Nation Van Lines a week apart just so I could get things up and running at my new home in Colorado before the bulk of my other less-important possessions turned up and took up all the space. They performed admirably both times, arriving on schedule and beginning their shifts right away. Their sorting and packing was flawless – everything ended up in the right place and arrived at the right time as I had planned. Totally satisfied with the service I got and the price I paid for it. Kudos to my favorite moving company for pulling off another smooth and hassle-free move for us. After having used United Nation Van Lines over many times in the past several years, we know that they are a distinct cut above the rest. That sentiment covers how well they perform on the job, of course, but also how well they interact with their clients. That goes for both the movers on the ground as well as the admin team in the United Nation Van Lines office. Regardless of who you speak to, you will get the same professional and courteous tone and all the info you need!

If you have been let down by a moving company before, you need to switch to United Nation Van Lines. I have been burned twice, once with exaggerated charges and then another time with a very haphazard team that mixed things up and caused a huge mess at the destination. United Nation Van Lines, on the other hand, was on time for the pickup, were very orderly in their loading and unloading, and stayed within their advertised timeframes both times. I wish their prices were about 10% lower but after the drama from the previous movers, I gladly paid more for peace of mind.

I won’t be looking for another company if I have to move again. United Nation Van Lines was just excellent in the way they handled our move from Alabama to Pennsylvania (4-bedroom houses in both states). Not only were they able to meet their deadlines for collection and delivery, they also came in right on the dot with the final price versus the initial quote. Needless to say, we are especially happy to report that after unpacking, we found nothing to be damaged in any way. All in all, United Nation Van Lines did everything right and we could not have hoped for a better move.

Moving is stressful, no doubt, and moving company's got you by the..! Although the guys were nice the company and customer service sucks. We were told our stuff would not get offloaded during transit to our new location, and it did to a warehouse, our delivery date changed numerous times and many phone calls to the company ignored as to when we would get our belongings (there seemed to be no end), multiple damaged items with a result of a $94 credit (wet moldy mattress, broken bed foot, ripped & missing pieces from outdoor patio umbrella, broken boxes, etc, etc). When they did arrive, they would not offload our stuff without a certified check, cash or money order (this was on a Sunday, three weeks after our original delivery date).
- We do apologize that customer feels that way. But let’s take a look at the statements and see if all of them are true or accurate.
We were told our stuff would not get offloaded during transit to our new location, and it did to a warehouse,
- Not true. Pick up date for the customer was December 16th and first available day for delivery was indicated as December 30th - customer requested 15 days storage. No one would tell the customer that for 15 days the job would sit in the truck as a storage.
our delivery date changed numerous times and many phone calls to the company ignored as to when we would get our belongings (there seemed to be no end),
- Shipment was delivered January 10th. Well withing our estimated delivery window of 17 business days.
multiple damaged items with a result of a $94 credit (wet moldy mattress, broken bed foot, ripped & missing pieces from outdoor patio umbrella, broken boxes, etc, etc).
- We apologize for that. Settlement was calculated according to coverage on file.
When they did arrive, they would not offload our stuff without a certified check, cash or money order (this was on a Sunday, three weeks after our original delivery date).
- Those forms of payment were disclosed to the customer before we even booked the job, let alone that customer signed for it multiple times and was reminded again when the truck was on the way, so customer had plenty of time to get the correct forms of payment.
- May be we don’t know how to count, but form December 30th to January 10th is only 10 days, not 3 weeks.

The guy who I spoke to originally was amazing. Great quote and very approachable. The pick up date was spot on and the loaders were amazing. After that it all went downhill. My 24 hour window of awareness of the delivery was shortened to 12 hours. The time given for delivery was not met. There was no call when they arrived. The truck was unable to drive to the storage unit when large trucks here in Vermont do it there daily. They then informed me that it would need to be loaded on a smaller truck.
I had my boyfriend arrange to meet the driver at a specific time. They were 2 plus hours late for that time. They demanded an additional $400 or they would not deliver my personal belongings. There was only 1 person to unload after the shake down. So my boyfriend, who has a bad back had to help unload. If I was there and not working would this be expected of me as a woman? So disrespectful and so disappointing. Not even sure if all my things are there because the check list was never checked off... DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE!!! You will be sadly mistaken...
- The guy who I spoke to originally was amazing. - not 1 star review sentence.

- They demanded an additional $400 or they would not deliver my personal belongings. - we did NOT demanded anything. The shuttle cost according to our contract was $700. We even DISCOUNTED it to $400 to compensate the inconvenience. But looks like some people do not appreciate when you trying to help them.
- There was only 1 person to unload after the shake down. - One person was more that enough to unload that job.
- So my boyfriend, who has a bad back had to help unload. If I was there and not working would this be expected of me as a woman? So disrespectful and so disappointing. - Nobody asked anybody to help us unload. As we stated above 1 person was enough to unload entire shipment.

We are very happy with the deal that United Nation Van Lines gave us and the amazing service that came with it. Their price undercut the previous cost that we had to pay a similar professional moving company to move us to Arizona last year. Considering that moving rates increase year on year, I don’t know how United Nation Van Lines does it but they do a mighty fine job of balancing cost and quality.
This is actually our first time hiring this fine company. However, it feels like we have known the team for ages. There was always a genuine edge to their conversations with us. You can tell that they care about doing right by the customer and not just treating everybody as a number to earn money. That is true for the sales team in their head office as well as the moving men.
The practical side of their work is just beyond compare. The team of movers cleared out our 2-bedroom apartment like it was nothing, even with all the large appliances like refrigerators, washing machine and drier. I think a large part of that is their brand spanking new equipment - all the dollies were shiny and clean, and that probably made moving things a whole lot easier. The one thing I am not so sure about is how they managed to charge us such a low price. I am happy they did but I am just wondering if I missed something? Regardless, I would hire them at this price again.

United Nation Van Lines organized and executed my move pretty much like a military operation. I am not even kidding – they had these guys come in with clipboards and measuring tape and made these little diagrams on their pads about how things would fit together nice and snug. (Apparently, it saves space (which means saves me money) and also ensures minimal movement so things don’t break). Then, they rolled in those carrying things with wheels and rolled out everything in my house, snugly into that truck. The unloading and unpacking was just as good and I’m happy to give them 5 stars.

Also, my house isn’t built yet here in Montana. So, they had really wrapped up my stuff very well in blankets, they put plastic wrap over that, and then taped all that up. I had wanted to have it left that way. Normally, they would put it in your house, unwrap it and put everything together. There was an additional cost for the packing blankets, but it was super cheap and it was very worth the convenience. They’re 100 bucks. It was 25 packing blankets. So, that was really cool. The coordinators that reached out to us were great. The gentleman that we worked with was Vic, and he was awesome. He found hard working people in Colorado and in Arizona, to help get our stuff out of the truck and into storage. But it will quickly decline from the initial low estimate they give you to sign up with them. Not only did we have problems with overcharges, but a huge delivery delay, new day-of-move charges, charges for tape (that is supposed to be included) and emotional abuse from a manager (Nadine) and a representative (Lisa). They don't answer the phone, they took 3 weeks to get us a manager and I have 17 emails with a manager who didn't try to deescalate the situation at all, or help. We were not allowed to read the contract we signed the day of our move, and were threatened that our items would be left behind (literally in the street at that point) if we didn't agree to a higher charge and sign the contract without reading.
We have contacted BBB and DOT. Hopefully someone holds this company accountable. We have damaged good and missing boxes. Instead of trying to find the boxes and furniture that is missing, Manager Nadine emailed us the claim form and told us we have 9 months to fill it out. Not one mention of trying to locate the missing items. When we asked to speak with someone higher than Manager Nadine, she said the only person higher is the owner, and refused to give their information. I'll end with this: the next to last phone call we had with Lisa (who also works in the customer service department, as well as disputes, they all seem to hold many hats), she screamed at the top of her lungs and told me, "we never lose!" Is that the type of company you want to trust with your most precious things?

When my goods were delivered only one man showed up to unload them. I was in awe that he could do everything by himself. He was courteous and polite and worked quickly and efficiently. I would highly recommend this company.

I would personally like to leave 5 star best review for Moving Nation and everything they did for my Mother Liz in her move to Georgia, with a special mention to Tina ** and the moving driver and trucker Mr. **. Miss Tina ** coordinated all actions of my Mother's move and kept us informed every step of the way. After losing my stepfather Charlie April 8th, it gave my family great comfort to know Moving Nation had our back!!! Mr. ** upon arrival carefully moved all of my Mom's belongings and unpacked and set them up in a very respectful and professional manner. His dedication and caring attitude really meant a lot to us all like he was one of our family!!! Thank you Moving Nation, Tina ** and Sergei for getting my Mother to us in Georgia safely and flawlessly!!! Will do business again!!! Always Mark ** USAF Retired

I was overall happy with the moving services provided. Both on the pickup and delivery. The driver who delivered my items in Arizona was very friendly and funny (can’t remember his name). I would definitely recommend this company to friends if they are in need of moving services.

I had high hopes that Moving Nation would give me a professional and seamless moving experience, unfortunately, that is not what I got. If I could give this experience a zero I would. At the end, I decided to fire the company and cancel my move with them. Read Below for Details: I was sold a job that would be direct and efficient. What I got was NOT AT ALL what I was sold. My movers showed up 2.5-hours late to their pick-up window. They were supposed to arrive between 2-4pm and instead showed up at 6:30pm. Earlier in the afternoon, I had tried to contact the company and was told by customer service that: "We cannot reach your movers, they seem to be having poor cell phone connection." I am in Pittsburgh, there may be some spotty service but overall, they should have been able to get in touch with them. It was not until 5pm (an hour after the pick-up window) that I received an update on timing.
Instead of a truck that was going directly to my destination, as I was sold, I got a small truck that was headed to a warehouse where my belongings would be transferred to another truck—again, NOT what I was sold. Lastly, these are strange times with COVID-19, but I would expect every company to be diligent and adhere to mask wearing and social distancing (as much as possible with moving) to protect their own employees and clients. I had to ASK my movers to put on a mask (I was already wearing one). It slipped off their noses and they never attempted to put it back on properly. They did not wash their hands or use hand sanitizer and had just come from another job.
After looking over the paperwork together and realizing that they would NOT be the same team that would unload at my destination (again, not what I was sold), I cancelled the job. The customer service tried to blame me asking me why they would send a larger truck to my smaller move...I don't know, I'm not a professional mover but these conversations should have occurred long before the movers showed up. They told me I would not get any refund, but I am demanding at least a partial if not full refund on my deposit.

Beware! Super friendly, open, detailed on intake, seemed reputable and transparent. But was a total bait & switch. Once they have you over a barrel, upcharges everywhere. 1BR move 300 miles went from $3600 to over $9000!!! Absurd. Then even more upcharges on delivery. Disgusting. Totally unethical and unprofessional.

Hello dear reader, I pray listen well – and bear ye witness to my tale of woe; of movers whose help was a living hell, and for whom there is no rating too low. My ask was simply to just use one truck, and to this one request they did agree. But once cash changed hands, I was out of luck; instead of one truck, they would now use three. I wish this lie would also be the last, But beyond lying, they also weren’t fast. I called to complain, three trucks would not do. “Too bad,” they said, “you signed and you agreed.” What their salesman said mattered not, I knew, Phone conversations leave nothing to read. Lo, they did say they recorded all calls! So I bid them play our conversation, And hoped they did not have me by the balls. But, alas, I found more consternation. The files, it seemed, were all there - except one. “It’s unplayable,” claimed Moving Nation.
Three hours we spent, arguing on the phone; But customer service refused our pleas. “We’ve got you now,” said the rep’s icy tone, “You’ve no choice but to pay our surprise fees.” At this point despair started to begin. With less than seven days until the move, Our contract made it clear - we were locked in. We told ourselves things can only improve. Unfortunately, this was just the start. There’s worse yet to come, but that’s the next part. At least the movers came on the right date, Though they did give a two hour time line, And arrived forty and five minutes late. They packed our things, and again made us sign. We should have known, by this point in the tale, To expect trickery to be in play, They used fine print to change the terms of sale, And increased costs which we then had to pay. “The worst’s done,” we thought, but we were naive. Now they had our stuff. There’d be no reprieve.
Moved into our new place, yet without stuff. We called about our delivery date. As you expect, the news we got was rough. Our things may come up to thirty days late! Ten days, contract said - thirty's too delayed! But no, the fine print snuck something in deep. Their receipt stated, beyond that we paid, “ONE MONTH ‘fore we’d have our bed back to sleep.” Cared not what they said during their sales pitch. It’s just their M.O. to bait and then switch. Disney was planned, but they cared not for me. Asked if they expected us to postpone, They said, “Hope not,” but gave no guarantee. They told me that one reaps what they have sewn. A month passed us, without our clothes or bed. Phone calls showed they did not know when they’d come. By now our hope for good service was dead. Completely at their mercy, we were glum.
Fearing that they might want to punish us, We grew meek, and did not put up a fuss. Finally, our delivery day came. It arrived over three hours late, mind you -but of course they did not accept the blame. At least no shuttle was needed; that’s true. Our fragile boxes all came rather squished. Our bed and chairs were, of course, broken too. They told us to report it if we wished. WE would report it, to them and to you. So noble reader, we draw near the end, But don’t leave ‘fore I tell you of my friend.
This tale does not end with me and my things, It’s not just me that was duped by these crooks. They lost my wife’s crafting box and some strings, And gave us someone else’s photo books. Some wedding pictures, and a child’s first steps, All of this left with us without a thought. We found names and called the company reps, We knew the owners must be quite distraught. Moving Nation did nothing; one more fail. We found the owners, and sent it by mail.
And so it ends, this moving tale of woe, With every moving fear all come true, My things broken and lost; my spirits low, Few recourse options, but I could review! Please heed my warning, whoever you are, Do not listen to their saccharin lies For the worst; Moving Nation sets the bar. It was so bad, I hope their business dies. I have nothing more to say or to tell. Moving Nation, your business ethics smell!

Moved us from Reno to Denver during Covid-19 lockdown. They showed up on time and did a great job of packing us and shipping. They arrived 3 days after they left and unloaded everything in 5 hours to the rooms we designated. They all worked very hard and efficiently.

Based on my experience with Moving Nation, I would not hesitate to recommend them. What you want from a mover is an efficient job at a reasonable price and a sense that you have real people communicating with you along the way. Pre-move: proactive, informative, thorough communication without any pressure. Moving process: went exactly as described. Movers showed up in a timely manner. Efficient, friendly, professional.
One glitch was that their truck broke down en route to the destination which delayed their arrival until first thing the next morning. But I was texted immediately to alert me to the problem. Upon arrival they were very careful with moving the truck onto our property and, in fact, parking about 100 feet from the storage pod where the furniture was to be unloaded. This required them to hand haul the furniture that distance. The pod was stacked efficiently. I am only half unloaded so I can't comment on the condition of my belongings but so far so good. Follow up: emails and phone calls to make sure I was satisfied with the process. I am. Conclusion: I would highly recommend Moving Nation.

I used this company to help me move furniture for my business from PA to NJ. The team was excellent and hard working. It was a lot of work and they did it in stride. They spent the whole day as it was a lot of work and never complained or cut corners. I was very impressed. I will use this company for all my personal and professional needs!

Moving Nation has turned out to be one of the most reliable companies I have ever hired for any purpose, ever. They are very clear with their pricing policy and that transparent attitude is sorely missing with almost all the other movers I have used. The company also abides by its timetable just as reliably so you know you won’t be surprised with a massive overbill at the end of it all. It is their staff, though that makes it all come together so well. My move to a 3-bedroom in Tennessee could not have gone so well with all their help.

We actually chose Moving Nation out of pure coincidence but it turned out to be a really lucky one! My wife and I were actually looking for another company with a similar name and accidentally called their office. But after we spoke to them and heard their rates, it seemed like a better deal. We looked them up online and the slew of great reviews convinced us to give them a try. As a summary, I can say that Moving Nation is affordable, reliable and accurate with their estimates.

They managed to do it according to the schedule they given me in advance, they did not break or lose anything in the loading or unloading and they stuck to the price they quoted me when I first spoke to them. In my experience, none of these are what you can always expect from other "professional" movers. In fact, they have managed to change the poor impression I have of this industry over the past few years.

Moving Nation sent us a good team of movers that did a fantastic job. We paid for the full service of packing, loading, unloading and unpacking so there was a lot of work involved. Fortunately for us, the team was experienced with big moves (4 bedroom house) and each person knew their role inside out. We just sat back and watched our entire old house get packed neatly into a large truck and then sat back again and watched the whole thing come out at our new place. So easy and so convenient.

There are quite a number of scammers in the moving industry but Moving Nation definitely is not one of them. I first did not want to consider them when moving my 2 bedroom house to South Dakota because they were slightly more expensive than what I wanted to spend. But after reading a lot of the reviews and asking around, we thought to give them a chance. I think we dodged a bullet by choosing this company because the reviews showed that the cheaper companies usually charge a whole lot extra after the move and end up being a whole lot more expensive.

There is no doubt in my mind that Moving Nation is the best possible company to use if you need professional movers. I was desperate to move to Dayton for a job I had been offered and even though I only need a 2-bedroom home, I have a lot of stuff. It was impossible to handle on my own and I was recommended Moving Nation by a colleague. Their advice was spot on – these guys are quick and efficient and affordable, too. I am enjoying my new job in my new city and a lot of the credit goes to the movers! Haha.

We decided to use Moving Nation for our move pretty much on the same day we first spoke to them to get a quote. While the other companies were vague and even evasive about how they calculated the final cost, the sales manager for Moving Nation was open and told us all we wanted to know. Basically, they are a high-quality premium service and will work well for anyone who prefers good service to just the cheapest deal. I think their competitors can learn a lot from them.
