I was getting ready to move and I was having carpet put in the house. The two guys stood there between 30 and 40 minutes before somebody on Luna’s end could answer the phone to approve my credit card. Everything was here but they couldn't proceed until Luna answered the phone. I asked the guys if that happens all the time and the guy said that it happens quite regularly. It was foolish and it was a lot of waiting time for everybody. But the quality of work was fine and the professionalism. Everybody was excellent and I would recommend Luna.

I had carpet installed on March 18, 2021. By April 6th I noticed the carpet was coming up from the corners. I had called on April 6th and they had made an appointment for April 9th to come and "fix" the problem areas. I waited around ALL day on Friday April 9th. No one showed up. At 4 pm I received a call stating they WON'T BE SHOWING UP and I had to call back and make ANOTHER appointment for them to come and "fix". So we made yet ANOTHER appointment for Tuesday April 13th. I told the lady I spoke with that I needed them to come in the morning because I had doctor appointments in the afternoon.
She told me she will put us down as the first appointment. Well obviously that was a lie because it's 1:45 pm and they're still NOT here and still DO NOT have an arrival time. So now, I have to cancel my doctor appointment so I can sit around and wait for them to hopefully show up. They have been dodging this problem since I called and I would not recommend them to anyone. I paid $2200 for it to be crap installation. I should have taken my money elsewhere and I will be letting whomever I can know NOT to go with LUNA FLOORING. Take your money elsewhere. So irritated.
Melissa, we understand that your time is valuable and sincerely apologize for your experience. We've located your account and will be in touch with you soon to further address your concerns.

We liked Luna's products and their prices. Everything was straightforward and easy with them. The salesperson that came out kept a very good eye on us until the sale was over and the installation was finished. His name was Mark and he was forthright. We had the vinyl planking installed in the kitchen and a foyer inside of our sliders. We also got wall-to-wall carpeting on the main floor and combination living room, dining room. Then, we put the same carpet on the steps in the landing as well as the upstairs hallway. When you walk in, it feels like a brand-new house. I love the vinyl because it's not slippery like the original flooring we had. You could be walking in your stocking feet and slide across the floor on that. But this is more of a vinyl that's not as shiny. It has some sheen to it, but not as much, and it's got more of a texture, so even my cats can't move the rug on it.
But we have a ripple in the carpet and I haven't heard back from Luna to see what has happened with the carpet since. Mark guaranteed everything but he couldn't guarantee help when customer service is going to get back to me about the ripple. Other than that, there were two teams who came out for the installation, one for the vinyl flooring that did a marvelous job, and one for the carpet who left the ripple where the two seams come together. And the gentleman that came out to try to repair the ripple originally on the 6th of April told me not to allow those installers back in my house.
But despite what happened, the installers were knowledgeable and they knew what they were doing. They took their time to care about going around the edges of the wood and up against the cove base of the wall. They moved our furniture back where the way it was supposed to be when we had them move it out and everything else was great. The quality of the products is good as well and the cost is relative. We got a good buy.
Joy, thank you for sharing your experience. We'll be further reviewing your concerns.

I got vinyl planks for two rooms and laminate for three rooms. I also got carpet for my steps. These products were installed in the three bedrooms, the hall, and the family room in the basement and Luna had three different installation companies come in. The first one that came was good while the second one, I had to wait for an hour for them to call their office to get approval to go on and do the floor. And the third one, I was on their second tier of their installation stairs but everything came out okay. I love the quality of the carpet and I like the laminate and vinyl flooring. The reps who came out were all very professional, too. They moved things back and they cleaned up after they finished, so I’m satisfied with the work that was done.

We were replacing the floors and the top two levels of our house. So, we got the kitchen, the entryway, our living room and dining room area, hallway, a couple of steps, and three bedrooms done. We decided that we needed new flooring and our carpet in the bedrooms and hallway was really worn out. Then, our tile was starting to crack in the kitchen. So we just decided to go with one product all the way through to give it an even flow. We had gone with Lune eight years ago to do laminate flooring in our living and dining rooms and we knew that they did good work. When we checked with them again, we were able to get a really good price and we were comfortable with it.
We liked that the flooring that we got was waterproof, kid proof, and dog proof. We have three kids and one dog, so the luxury vinyl planking was really nice for all the spaces that we put it in. It was something versatile and able to be used throughout the whole house. The first price that our sales rep, Rick, showed us was a little bit uncomfortable for us. It was a fair price, but it was above our budget, and he really worked with us to get it within our budget. So we really appreciated that. He also took his time with us because we weren't sure about the coloring or what we wanted. He showed us all of the samples and let us take them throughout the house to see how they looked in each room. So it was nice and we didn't feel rushed.
Then, the installers were great. They worked really quickly and efficiently. It took two days and they stayed pretty late the first evening, so they weren't here too long the second day. They also checked in with us if we had any questions or concerns about what they were doing with the product. All in all, the flooring seems like it's pretty good quality. Plus, it's really easy to take care of even more so than the laminate that we had before.

I’m a contractor and I tell my customers that I try to find the cheap price and the good quality. Recently, I bought carpet from Luna and I chose them among the three companies I was considering because they had the best price. They were $10 less than the others. The carpet was installed in the basement of a home and the guy who did it was fast and good. But he left something to my crew to finish.

Salesman was great. Product is great. However, installers ripped my safe from the floor which was bolted down. Then lights inside were broken while doing so. It’s been over two weeks and still no resolution. Have called and texted but not a good experience at this point. Very disappointing because I really liked our salesman. Stay tuned for how long it’s going to take for some sort of financial reimbursement.

I went online on a Friday night to see if I can schedule an estimate. My mother doubted I would get anybody out here on the weekend. But Luna scheduled online for an appointment at 9:30, Saturday morning. So I scheduled that estimate. The rep came in and he was very professional and efficient. He brought in carpet samples. I was looking for a specific color variant carpet, and they had one very, very similar to the one from Lowe's. It was a great price when he estimated it out. In fact, it was going to be cheaper than the carpet at Lowe's. It was a better carpet.
I told the rep that I would go with them if he could get it installed in the next two weeks. He said he could have it installed Monday morning. I'm glad he is the rep for this area because I have 10 more carpet put in the house. He was very courteous too. I really enjoyed him. He could answer my questions. He didn't do a lot of hmm’s and huh’s, and “Oh, I got to look this up,” or “Oh, I got to call them.” He had answers for me just like that. He knew his stuff.
The rep brought up the pricing, all discounts and promotions that Luna was offering at that time and he was able to apply as many that I would be eligible for, which helped a great deal on the price. So he wasn't in here to take money from me like the other companies. He explained that when he was done, the cost was the cost, and that includes everything, including the haul out and the installations. He was all about making sure that I felt the price was reasonable. I have a respect for business people like that.
The padding is great. The carpet is thick. It's lifetime warranty carpet. But I got a thicker pile and I love it. When I walk on it barefoot, I can feel the rebound of the padding. The old carpet that was in there was 30 years old, so the padding was flattened and when you walk on it, you hear the subfloor creaking. But now, I walk on it and it's deep enough pile. I can dig my toes in.
If somebody was getting carpet installed, I'd definitely recommend they call Luna before calling the local Lowe's or Home Depot. The people are quick, efficient, professional, and accommodating. They have a lot of great carpet and flooring samples. We've got to eventually replace flooring in the kitchen and dining area and the foyer of our home, so I will probably call Luna to come in with a waterproof laminate flooring sample for that when we're ready to do that.

Everything was good with our experience with Luna. The salesman brought us some good deals. He was knowledgeable about his stuff. So that was what really helped, especially to people who don't know more than much about flooring. The contractors came in and were knowledgeable and nice. They knew what they were doing. The vinyl planks were installed through my family room, kitchen area, powder room, and the areaway. I went with Luna for the pricing and everything was upfront. I loved when the guy that was keeping the supplies came out because there was no sales pitching. He asked me to tell him what I needed and he said that he was gonna tell me what they could do. He also told me exactly what I could get at a better price.
On the installation, the guys came and discussed the best plans. They were in my living room and dining room area and I already got hardwood floors. So I wanted everything to flow and have a good transition and they made sure that everything had an even lay on the floor. So everything is flowing in the same direction. I love the way the flooring feels and it blends with the interior. Everybody loves the floor when they come in through the door. The durability makes things a lot easier. You don’t have to worry about carpeting in the family room anymore. If somebody spills something, it’s easy to clean up. I love it.

The process with Luna went smoothly. We had two different projects. The first project was a basement, hallways, stairs and a family room. We really liked it a lot. So then we had a second one done two weeks after that. It was a dining room. The process went very well. The installers were very professional and did a nice job. The overall experience was really good.
I just have one minor concern that just came up in my mind. There was a section of flooring where the carpeting butted up to wood. At that point, the installers gave me a couple of options. We were talking about if they left the carpet with one tack strip, the wood may be a little exposed. Or if they put two tack strips, then the carpet came on top of the wood. So I went with that choice. But it looks sloppy. I don't know if a better choice would have been a wood strip. I’m just concerned that because it’s such a big overhang, that after vacuuming and foot traffic, that might become an issue. If it does, I hope that Luna would back their product and do something about it. But the product I have is a really nice carpet.

There were two different jobs that Luna Flooring did. There was one team who came out and did the bedrooms. They did a really good job. Another team did two rooms in the basement. It was okay. It could have been glued down a little bit better, but it's acceptable. The second team only had two little rooms, and they had four techs. The other three rooms that they had to do was just two techs, and two big rooms. The two techs in the beginning had to wind up working their butt off. The second set of techs ended up just laying around on the floor playing with their phones because there wasn't much for them to do. I think it was just that the job was overscheduled.
But all in all, they did a great job. I’m trying to talk to my wife about getting the rest of the house carpeted at the beginning of next year because it is cold in this house. I called them out to do the two little baby floors to see what kind of job they would do. They did a really good job. So, I figured, “Hey, it's worth it.” So, I called them back out to do the other floors for the $99, and it worked out.

The process was very seamless on their part. They were able to find exactly what I needed, and then find me a good, economical price. The financing was a good pitch. I like the carpeting itself. I had it out in in the living room, dining room, and two bedrooms. The installers got here early, and they got it done quickly.

Some family members from two different families had used Luna, so we went on their recommendation. We ended up going with carpeting to replace carpeting in our living room, hallway, master bedroom, and then in our basement and hallway downstairs. Our salesman was great. He was pretty much no punches, very high-energy and tell-it-like-it-is. “This is the product. This is what we have. This is what I need tonight to close the sale. If you decide to wait, I can't guarantee the pricing that we've agreed upon.” He was a straight shooter and very personable.
While our carpet and padding was pulled up, and we had the replacement done, we went over tile upstairs, and there were some tiles that were missing. So, we have some low spots. I wish that would have been pointed out before the padding was late. We didn't inspect the floor. My husband and I wish we had either pulled up the carpet and padding to see what was underneath and what we were dealing with, or if the installation team maybe would have pointed out, “Hey you're going to have low spots here because you're missing your eight-by-eight or your nine-by-nine tassels underneath." We wish we had thought about that because we've got some soft spots now.

Luna's flyer says that whatever price I find, they can beat that price. After I signed with them and they installed everything, the reps said that I had to purchase online for them to give me the discount. Nobody helped me with that. I asked the rep what the difference was and said I was purchasing from the same company. Luna's price stayed the same. It wasn't that high but it wasn't that cheap either. Another company's price is different at around $700. The material of their flooring is not bad and maybe because it's new, I feel good about it. But, after it was installed, I feel something different like something was stuck underneath it. Luna also says they have better quality. But their flooring is all the same with those from other companies. It's nothing special.

My husband and I bought laminated flooring for our living room. I had a few quotes from other floor companies. Our salesman beat the other two companies' prices, so we went with Luna. The salesperson had to get approval for the price. We had the quoted price on the signed contract. We bought flooring in November, we needed to paint living room first.
In December my husband called to set up a installation date. Luna paperwork showed we owed 210.00 more than our paperwork. Husband said we have a contract stating our price. After 6 weeks and my husband on the phone with them they finally "APPROVED" sale. Again, we had a signed contract. So my husband set up a date in mid January. They called and confirmed. My husband took off work to wait for installers. No one showed up. Husband called again. They said again it was a money issue. Husband called managers. No one seemed to care or want to help. So I get a call from New Mexico. Women confirmed everything. Was good to go.
We set up installation again for end of January. Once again my husband gets a call the day before to confirm installation and he takes off work again. No show again. We were furious! My husband spoke with a manager named Robert. He could care less that my husband lost 2 days pay waiting for the installers. My husband was told our product was in stock by installers took by mistake some of our for another job. All Robert said was he would refund our deposit. After many many many calls we finally had another date February 4th. Installer were great.. Luna is an extremely unprofessional company. Once they get your deposit, they treat you like a second class citizen. My advice to everyone pay the extra money and don't buy from LUNA.

We had some stuff done a few years ago and we came back to Luna as returning customers to complete the job and some other rooms that we had. From that perspective, everything went well. The only issue now is the financing that I requested was not submitted correctly to Wells Fargo, but I’m working with one of the consultants to get it worked on right now. Other than that, two levels of our home are completely done with wood floors. It’s an expensive cost for your home, so you want to make sure it's done correctly. The installation guys were great. They did their job, in and out, and as quick as they could. The work is done correctly and well. There's no doubt about that.
In any business though, people can’t control every single employee. There are gonna be some employees who might slip up here and there. I understand the concept where they try their best as a organization but there are some employees who stray a little. The initial sales gentleman that came by to do the quote, I wasn't too happy about his COVID precautions. I have children and I asked him to put his mask on, but there were times where he had taken it off in the house. I made a note, and I called in after he left. The Luna Rep was really awesome; however, the installers were very rude. Due to Covid 19 guidelines the installers refused to follow facial mask requirements. Then proceed to enforce us to wear our mask in our home. Being a first responder, I take my health and my family health very serious. If Luna hires these type of people to install flooring, my family/friends will no longer use them for their services. My health and safety is more important. I have some light color brown carpet in three rooms installed by Luna. The color is great. I was gonna go with Empire. They say, "Install three rooms for $200." I was gonna do that but someone highly recommended Luna. The gentlemen that came into my house was very respectful. I enjoyed all three of them. They came and they left in about one hour. That's how quick they did it. I had everything ready for them. I moved everything out of the rooms and it was easy for them. They kept everything clean.

We found Luna Flooring and we had a hardwood floor put in. They had the best price and we liked the quality. I was a little disappointed that it didn't have the shine. They took the shine down, so it was more of a mat look. Still, the workers were great. They came, they clean up behind themselves and they were constantly working. The floors really do look good. The only thing is the shine and the color. I know sometimes, depending upon the stain that they use, it could be a little off compared to what was shown to you. It was a little off than what I had picked out. Otherwise, the floors were good. I told my daughter about Luna because she recently purchased a home, and eventually, she wants the carpeting gone. So, I told her she should check them out.

Luna Flooring was the first to keep the appointment. I had several appointments with other companies and they canceled. We had them install hardwood and carpet. When they did the hardwood floors, the guy recommended that I put boards underneath from the floor to raise it so everything would be even. When they did my carpet upstairs, all my floors at all different levels. I wish they would have recommended me lifting those. If they have a salesperson come, they should also go over the level and the floor so that would be included in the cost. But the quality is good. Everyone was all the time professional. When I had an issue, it was addressed right away. Overall, I'm satisfied.

I have had a horrible experience from day 1. After the floors were in installed I noticed one of the tile was making a hollow sound when you walked over, so I called to see if it could be fixed. Over time the tile will come up. 2nd day ran my washer and I had water all over my floor because I was told after the fact the installers don't connect hoses back. That could of been explained and advised to me so I knew to connect it back. Also the side trim literally came off. Supposed to have waterproof floors but when someone came out I was told it was damaged. I've made numerous calls to get it fixed and four months later it still hasn't been fixed! I never thought I would have such a horrible experience with a large company. I got 4 estimates prior to choosing Luna. Thought it was the best price for what I was getting. If I could rate a zero I would. We had the free estimate done and decided to go with Luna for our carpet installation due to the price that I was able to negotiate with the salesman. We were scheduled for an install yesterday so we moved all of our valuables, small furniture and disassembled beds etc as we were directed, leaving our home in complete disarray. We get an automated call yesterday confirming our appointment but the message states we are the second stop for the installer so a time could not be confirmed. We sit and wait all morning for a call with a time and finally the installer calls around 1pm saying they were on the way. They arrive an hour later and proceed to tell us they can’t do the install because it is raining out and they cant roll the carpet out to cut it and we would need to reschedule.
They leave with no resolution of when they could return. I call customer service only to be told someone would call me back to reschedule. I got no call back so I reach out to my salesperson who I originally dealt with and am told we are rescheduled for the next day. The next day comes and I get the same automated call saying they can’t confirm a time. 2 hours later the installer calls to say they will be here in a hour. 20 minutes later I get another call from “customer service” saying the installer suddenly blew 2 tires on the van and couldn’t come until later today.
An hour later they call back to say they can’t come at all and we would need to reschedule. So here I am after missing two days of work with no carpet and only another call saying we are rescheduled for tomorrow...and I’m sure tomorrow will come and there will be more excuses. Even better when I say I want a refund I’m told I cannot get my deposit back. So no carpet and out a large deposit only to be told they will be here tomorrow?? Trying to get someone in customer service is useless as they continue to say they can’t help and need to transfer me to another department where I’m then put into voicemail with a promise of a callback. Just a warning... If you’re looking for carpet, go someplace else.. You may pay a bit more but won’t be left with a mess of a house, no carpet and empty promises and a ton of excuses.

Updated on 10/23/2020: Writing a second review because it's been FOUR Days and I have called half a dozen times and have yet to be contacted regarding the incomplete installation, the mistakes, damage, and overall sloppy workmanship of the partial install, or when/how it will be completed/resolved. As each day goes by I find more and more mistakes with the installation work, insufficient adhesion of the vinyl, improper sub-floor installation, bumps and wrinkles, sloppy/incomplete edge sealing, etc. At this point I'm thinking remove the crap and refund my money.
Original Review: So I had a couple different companies quote installing sheet vinyl in my kitchen and foyer, I chose Luna based on the sales representative and his knowledge of what would be required for the best possible result. They would first need to remove the existing vinyl and tiles before installing a need sub layer and the vinyl. I was told the installation would take one day but if it ran over they would return the following day to finish. After showing up late and staying till after 8:00 at night they only have half of the vinyl installed and it isn't installed well. A lot of damage to the walls from removing baseboards that did not need to be removed, improper assembly of trim and baseboard heater and the vinyl trim work is horrible.
They informed me that they would not be returning the following day because they had another job to do and I would be hearing from the installation department as to when they might be back to finish. I have called multiple times and still no response, meanwhile I have bare plywood on half my floors and no idea when the job will be completed. Really wish I hadn't paid for the job already but I always have the option of reporting the payment as fraudulent t be reimbursed.
As an added bonus they didn't have the proper materials to do the job when they arrived and didn't clean anything before leaving. The installers were also very free with unplugging things so they could charge all their phones and using whatever they wanted without asking permission (still don't know where a water jug I keep on my counter went). Buyer beware and read the fine print...One of the documents they have you sign says that they are not responsible for any damage they do to the walls.

We wanted to replace kitchen bamboo flooring with a nice, solid kitchen tile. Rep talked us out of getting Porcelain & Ceramic Tile Flooring. The reason was it's outdated, hard to install, and more expensive. Much better product on the market and cheaper called Luxury Vinyl plank. I saw many very nice samples (thick pieces that resembled thick tile).
When the installation team arrived, they questioned why there was glue under our bamboo flooring. Did not remove old glue, installed Luxury Vinyl plank on top of it without our consent. I noticed uneven flooring, floor developed cracks due to uneven base. Now the floor makes a crackling noise when walking. I called support (requested 30-day guarantee). The inspection team came over and documented the issues. Jolysa called few days later, left a voicemail. I called back about 7-10 times, left voicemails, spoke to Customer Service reps. Customer Service reps opened a case against Post Installation team for not addressing my issue. It's been over a month I don't have a new floor. No idea what is happening or what will happen. Installers pulled up our old carpet but failed to remove quarter round or other tacks underneath the old carpet. The home we bought had hardwoods and quarter round underneath and the homeowners had carpet over it. Instead of removing, they decided to install all of the carpet with an inch gap from every wall. I have never seen this before in my life. Now we have white painted trim boards, unfinished brown quarter round and an inch gap from the carpet to every baseboard. Also did not follow our directions on the stairs. Left garbage and scratches all over walls and banisters. Told me they would call their manager for me to speak to after saying they installed carpet with quarter round all the time, but all ran out and jumped in their van and left without telling us. Completely terrible. Recommend you avoid. Called to complain on phone and to salesman - still no call back from manager and no promise to make it right.

Nightmare though-out this whole process. Sale-person came to give us a quote and she was well aware that we had a few episodes of water coming into the room in the past. She informed us and recommended a certain flooring that would not be affected by any water if this would occur. In fact she was informed that we would rather go with ceramic flooring to be safe but she assured us that this other flooring with the cork backing would and should be the best flooring for us. Also she was aware that we could not remove tack strips from prior carpeting due to the old tile suspected being asbestos tile. We also requested PRIMED WHITE OAK TRIM that was listed on my contract.
Installation was started on 9/2019. They did not finish the installation and it took us 11 months not kidding 11 months to get a response to complete the job. The only reason I finally got a response was..I suspect because I reached out to the lender and complained. The salesperson measured incorrectly so not all the trim was initially put up. The trim was installed terrible, the pieces did not match up. I found out I did not get Oak Trim. I would have never known until the trim I had started peeling up, I was charged Oak Trim but this trim WAS NOT OAK - this trim had some kind of white paper over it. Seriously! Then the installers made a hole on one piece of flooring that was covered under a small runner. Also the drain was cut out very unprofessionally. That was just the beginning of my nightmare.
Once they finally called, they wanted to set up an appt to have contractors first look at the job that needed to be done and them of course make another appt to get the job done…. but no one gets back to me about why I did not get Oak Trim and of course this should be a difference in the price. No one ever got back to me regarding these charges.
09/2020 When the contractors came out they pointed out all the mistakes and of course agree this is not oak trim and Luna does not carry Oak Trim…Their own salesperson does not know this and I was under the impression I was receiving WHITE PRIMED OAK TRIM and being charged for this. Also they agree that the job was not done professionally and of course now I have to set up another appt to get all this completed.
When they return the contractors start with removing a piece of trim that separated my flooring from a section to start their job and come to find out that I had mold on the tack strip that was left behind due to water and that this strip was still moist. I have never had any mold in my room and of course this raises an issue on the flooring that we were advised was the best product if water ever did get in. The contractors had removed along the strip to check the flooring and decided that the best plan would be to let this dry and make another appt to complete the job. We had them check another area where the tack strip was and this was also with moisture. They pulled up a section along the tack strip and they voiced this flooring SHOULD NOT have been installed down here.
Without our knowledge, they ended up pulling the whole floor, everything, when we did not agree to have the flooring removed from the house. We did not approve of this and did not know until the flooring was in their van, when they were done they said they were working with Luna and will get back to us on what flooring should have been put here and that’s why they pulled this up. We did not authorize for them to take the floor.
When we contacted Luna to discuss everything they said we will have to pay for another install. What person in their right mind would allow anyone to take their flooring that was fine except around the tack strip that needed to dry and pay for more flooring. When all they were there for was to complete the job that was started 11 months ago. From the beginning every time I called Luna, no one had any updated information in their system. No one can locate anyone to help. When a manager called us we were told that we have to pay for flooring we do not have and new flooring to be installed. Seriously, they seem to not understand that we did not authorize the removal and this is their contractor that told us they were communicating with them.
Now we are without flooring and of course I am paying for a floor I do not have. The only areas that were wet were on the tack strip and they decided to take our floor making it seem like this is what their process is?? We were scammed. Also the regional manager called and said they will only charge us half the amount. This is such a serious issue. Not only did they take my floor without my approval, they are seriously scamming people. From the salesperson who clearly does not know the products they provide to never getting the job done. Stay clear away from this company. I am a nurse and take pride in my job, Luna should not be in business and all the people within this company that make these decisions to not help their customers. All I have to say is KARMA!! They need to make this right!!
Kevin and Patricia, we take your concerns seriously and will be in touch with you shortly to start working on a resolution.

Experience was good until actual installation. Salesman had told me installers would come at 8AM so I decided to get installed on Saturday, so would not need to take first hour off of work if choosing Monday. Saturday arrives and get automated call at 8:15am that installers will not be there until 'later'. I initiate my own call and am told installer will not be here until 11-12. Installer calls me at about 9:45am indicating would be there in 40 minutes.
After about an hour, get call from Luna stating installer was in a car accident and would not be coming at all (my complaint is not really based on the accident as I realize these things can happen and are out of Luna's control). But then the woman (Janine) makes no attempt to resolve issue (when would it be installed?). When I ask when, she said she 'will see' if can find a time on Monday. Given my work situation, I ask if Sunday install is possible and a discount if can't get installed then (before Monday). She said she would check and get back to me. The woman NEVER calls me back so I am unsure if they are coming Monday.
I text my salesman (John) who was not aware of cancelled install but saw in system that someone would be coming Monday. Then on Monday the installers do not show until 10am. Fortunately due to COVID updates, I was not to go into work on Monday (or I would have missed like 3 hours of work!). However, I was still inconvenienced because was working from home so needed to be on Zoom meetings etc, during the installation.
I got off a meeting to greet the installers (10am) and reviewed installation. At this time I find out, that despite my salesman (John **) stated he would have installers use 'odor eliminator' before installing new carpet (one of main reason for getting new carpet is prior resident had cat which had left many strong urine stains and I would not have carpet installed without it) the installer did not have that on his order, had no odor eliminator in truck, and had no way to get any, so could not do it. I texted my salesman of why it was not on order and how to proceed. He NEVER got back in touch with me.
The installer agrees that if I go out to Home Depot and get some, he would use it. So I need to take more time away from work meetings to go buy two products at HD (cleanser and primer) for cost of $45. The installer says he could not do primer on all floor (too long to dry) but will do for most problematic area (I provide him with roller and roller pan) and use cleanser on the other spots.
A day after installation I get the standard call (from Henry) asking how installation went and I share the above information, again asking for a discount and/or reimbursed for supplies I bought. He states that he or Janine (prior Luna rep) will call me back within 3 days. I NEVER receive a call back from either one. I get an emailed survey and in that state I would want someone to call me. Someone called me back within an hour. Again I share my concerns. He states someone will call me back by Monday. Luna rep does call me back and says I will not get any discount nor reimbursement for supplies I bought.
I text my salesman one last time asking why installers did not know about applying odor eliminator. He does get back to me that if put on order it would have charged me like $125 but he had saved me $40 on installation so it should just 'be a push'. Not really relevant to me how it gets communicated or how it would show up on order. He made a promise to provide this service and it was not provided (without me taking time off work and spending my own money and getting agreement from the installer to work with me.) Just overall did not feel supported by Luna given false information, not getting calls back, and not providing any compensation to customer for poor service.

We have an uneven floor and were concerned about how vinyl flooring could be laid on top. After calling his supervisor/ manager the sales rep told us that the flooring would laid after the tile had been cut and removed. All the flooring would end up being the same height as before.
Day of Installation: I have paid $250 for our fridge, washing machine and dryer, dishwasher and oven to be disconnected. I had received no contact from Luna about the installation. I had to call them 3 times to get the information I required about the installation. When the installer arrived he immediately saw told me that his work order was for laying the vinyl over the top of the tile already in place. This is not what the salesman and his manager had told us. The installer told me that the work order would not work for the flooring we have.
The installer has determined that the floor tile needs to be removed, under flooring installed and then a different tile put on over the top. I have no spoken to: Customer services associate, customer services supervisor and the installation supervisor. All told me they could not help rectify the problem. I am now waiting for the sales manager to call me.
I don't understand how Luna can sell flooring that can't be put into place. The contract for the work order literally can't happen. I have paid $850 so far to Luna. I owe them another $850. I have been told I will have to pick new tiles and sort out a new contract. I will also have to pay a plumber to reconnect all of our appliances and disconnect and reconnect again. The fact that I have been waiting 60 minutes for the sales manager to call me is awful- I was told it would be 10 minutes. I have no idea if this will cost me even more money, time and inconvenience. I called several times and was told the installer would call back, which he did at 4PM and said the product was not included on the truck from New Jersey and would have to wait until the following week. Nothing done for the major disruption to my home and work schedule.
I cancelled the order because of the no call/no show and was told I would get a refund. That has not happened because of their "computers". I spoke with Ernesto who needs retraining in Customer Service about my refund and the one week went to 30 days. He would not resolve the issue and asked me if that was all I had to say after telling him of my poor experience. I hope Keith Weinberger realizes his staff is at best poor.

My wife enjoyed Luna Flooring's service. We had the carpet installed in the living and dining rooms and the laminate on the front entry hallway. The carpeting is stain-resistant and easy to clean up. On the other hand, the dogs run on the hardwood flooring but it shows no markings. It’s top-notch.

I was in the process of getting estimates. I have seen the ads for Luna and I had scheduled with Empire too. I was informed that they were sister companies so I kind of scratched that one and got some other estimates from some other folks. But the ability to have the 0% financing with Luna was pretty much the deciding factor for me. The other folks were somewhat a little bit cheaper but they didn’t offer the financing.
I got vinyl plank flooring and I went with that because it's for a rental property. I had carpet down before but it can get stained and smelly. With the vinyl, hopefully, it lives up to the waterproof name, the durability, and looks good. For the installation, they gave me some options. I had to reschedule and they were good. They showed up on time and just pretty much asked me to stay out of the way. They went to work and got it done really quickly. I was surprised at how fast they got it done. It was a pretty good experience for me. It wasn’t a really high-pressure sale. They were able to work with me financially. And they were flexible with the scheduling. The quality was really good. I was really pleased with the end result.

I had to have a carpet and padding installed in my living room. I took a couple quotes, and Luna's came in the best. When the installers came in, they had the old carpet and padding gone in 20 minutes or less. They laid down the padding then the guy came in with the new carpeting and laid that down as well. It was a small room, so they were very quick about it and I was impressed with how fast they got the old stuff out and gone. They were very friendly too. Everything was great and the quality looks good. It's a very nice woven carpet that's very easy to clean.

Luna Flooring installed hardwood in three bedrooms and a living room for me. The installation was quick, which was great for me. This is the second job they’ve done for me and the installers were not as good as the first ones. They moved a lot of stuff but didn't put it back. They moved my table off my deck and didn't put it back. For some reason, they also took out a screen in my bathroom window, but we didn't get the bathroom done. That was hard to get back because I never took one out.

I am highly disappointed in the horrible service I have received from Luna, who despite taking my deposit money, was a no call/no show on installation day and a manager has yet to reach out more than 24 hours later. As a First Responder I had to take off from work to get this install done and Luna wasted my entire day, but this is not the first time they have done this, it’s actually the 2nd time. Over 16 hours of personal leave wasted due to this company’s poor service and operating functions.
In an effort to avoid a second no call/ no show, I called them the day before and five times on the day of the install. Each time they promised to send an urgent email to the person in charge of installs in my area, and one time they gave us the local number to call, which no one answered. I even reached back out to my sales person who was so responsive when he set the appointment but has since disappeared, refusing to answer or return calls. Luna is a horribly unprofessional and unreliable company and I am going to be sure to continue to spread the word until they fill their contracted obligations or return my money.

We had waterproof laminate flooring installed in our kitchen, two bedrooms, and the living room. It was a bit more on the expensive side, but it was kind of worth it because they were willing to come whenever was best for us. Had it been the next weekend, they would have done it, but we had to wait because we had to get stuff moved. When the installers came out, they worked like dogs. They were extremely professional, courteous and were as nice as could be. I appreciated them getting it all done in one day, which was a tremendous help. So far, I'm very happy. Got an email from luna supervisor stating an appt was set for this Saturday and installer would call me half hour before arriving (NO mention of in need of a reply). The salesperson and the workmen that came out were highly efficient, organized, professional and pleasant. Nicolas, the sales guy, was very clear and together. He also did a lot of follow up to check because I didn't do it the first day, and he was not overbearing in his follow up. He just wanted to check if there were any other questions he could answer for me and I ended up going with them. There were a couple of companies that were better, but the timing wouldn't work for me. I just moved into the house and thought I'd get away with shampooing the carpet for a while since it was newish, and the whole house smelled like a dog and poop that got wet, so it had to go immediately. We got carpet for 90% of the house, including the bedrooms, living room and dining room.
However, Luna Flooring named the padding levels and there was a misunderstanding on my part because I wanted a thicker pad. I thought premium meant thicker and it didn't. It's not the highest end and that's fine, but they should name it what it is, so there's no confusion. Still, the two installers who came in were great. My little girls were here and they tried to keep a low profile. If they moved from one location to another, they announced it. If they had to walk through a room and I was there, they would ask if they were disturbing me. They were polite and they worked consistently too.

I’m really satisfied with the quality for the price too. I wish I had known that it was a much thicker padding and I feel that there are more print marks when people walk across it, but it’s a nice product. Also, the salesperson was very personable, had good suggestions, and really got back to me right away from the beginning. I liked him. We purchased our carpet in February of 2019. The salesperson advised us on the type of carpet and padding that matched the product we had. The installation was scheduled and completed as promised. Shortly after we noticed that the carpet was separating and lines were showing up in all areas. Additionally the padding sounded we were walking on a bag a chips.
We filed a complaint and Luna sent an investigator. The Luna personnel inspected the carpet, our vacuum and asked about our cleaning practices. We explained that the carpet was vacuumed daily and it was only 3 months old at the time of inspection. We did not receive a call about the results and finally reached out to Luna and were rudely told there was nothing wrong with the carpet and we could hire a carpet expert to do a test. When we asked the customer service person for a reference for an expert we were told she didn’t know of any. A year has gone by and the carpet couldn’t get any worse and the padding is non existent. We now are faced with removing the product and replacing it again. We would not recommend Luna or Shaw brand carpet.

I had the carpet steam cleaned every 18 months as required and kept proof with receipts. The last time I had my carpet cleaned, I noticed regular wear and stains were not coming up so I contacted the company to exercise my warranty. After 3 months of failing to return my calls and giving me the run around, they finally declined my claim stating that I didn't get my carpet cleaned by specifically approved cleaners, a condition that they had never previously notified me of and was not included in my warranty! They are refusing to live up to the terms of their warranty and now I have to sue them to get them to replace their faulty carpet. Do not do business with this company!!! They are FRAUDS!

We’ve been in the house for almost 20 years, so we needed a new carpet and a new floor. I saw Luna Flooring on TV that they had a special $99 for a room, but in reality, it’s not really $99 a room. However what we really wanted, we really got it more because of the salesman. He was nice but he didn't tell us if there would be any problems, that there’s gonna be more charges if they had to do anything.
The installation was fine. I just didn't like what happened at the beginning with the floor. When the people came for the floor, the installer leveled the floor and said they're going to charge us for it. We were to pay $1,000 on top of what we already paid. We ended up paying around $1,300 more so they can level the floor. I know the materials don’t cost that much. I know they had to charge for the labor, but $1,300 for what? I think they overcharged us for that. The guy who did the floor showed us in detail after he was done. The only thing about the people from the carpet, though they were professionals, didn't go in detail what they did to the carpet upstairs.
I hope Luna will make sure that the salesmen would tell if there’s extra charges. Nobody else should get another surprise like we did. We didn't get the expensive flooring, but what we purchased is good for right now.

I had wood floor planking put in by Luna Flooring in the kitchen, dining room, bathroom and family room. I like the ease and the convenience of going with Luna better than going to different stores that I had gone to. That seemed confusing, so it was nice when they came out and showed the samples in my house -- it felt a lot more comfortable. The cost may have been a little bit more, but I like the quality of what I got. I may have gotten a better product than what I was looking at in the stores. The stores had so much to choose from, and they had anywhere from the lowest grade to the best kind. So, it was nice having similar stuff that was very equal and still within a price range that I could meet, and so I liked it.
I had the house prepared, and they were able to move the rest of the big furniture that I did not move and worked around that. I was very happy that we did this on the weekend before Christmas. The installation guy said he could be out on Monday, which was fantastic. But, then, they ran out of stock. So, there was not enough in the warehouse when they picked up enough to come out to my project. They were 100 to 150 square feet short to finishing the whole project, and there was a delay to get them back in stock. Nevertheless, when the stock came in, they came back and did an excellent finishing up job. I was pleased that it still matched because I was afraid that even though it was the same stock, there might be a little bit of difference in the coloring with the different dyes of different batches, but it was not. You could not tell where it stopped and started, which was a great thing.
Luna was very conscientious, and they did a great job. I got to be there on the second day when they came back, and I got to see them measuring and making sure things fit right. And if it did not work, if they made a bad cut, they threw it out and got another piece. But, I only saw one cut that did not work for them, so they were good. They were not wasting stock. So, they were very professional and they worked very good together.

It would have been great if there wasn’t a hiccup. It threw everything off. That kind of stuff just upset me because I had a set day for them to come out and I wanted it done all in one day, and then they had to come back out. The sales person provided an initial price and I said it was more than my budget. She then said she could go lower but it will be at cost so she can't go lower. I agreed to the new price and then she went to bring samples of the flooring. Before she brought the samples I said I wanted one similar to my basement but once she brought the samples I changed my mind and she said that was okay. All the same price. I signed the contract and schedule for next day. The flooring was good the first day no issue, sent her pictures, all good.
Same day I noticed the contract I received in my email had the initial price instead of the new price. I called her, text her, no response. Called customer service, they said they will contact her. No calls from her after a couple of days, I called customer service again was told she said the initial price was for the first sample I chose and when I changed my mind the price changed....she made this up. The same day I texted her, she did not respond, she could have said that the first day.
If I complained about the initial price being too high why would she not say something when I selected a different one if the price was higher. She said she could not remember the details. I regret going with Luna. I went with them because I saw mostly positive reviews and the sales person seem helpful the first day even said as long as I have the flooring call her before customer service because she can resolve issues quicker. All that went away from the day I complained about the pricing. Also in less than 2 weeks after the flooring was installed, bumps appeared on the flooring. They could quickly install carpeting in the living room and bedroom of an investment property, which made me go with them. However, because the rep knew I wanted it installed quickly, he took advantage of that. A year ago I had about the same amount of carpeting installed in a larger unit for 1,100. This time, he charged me 1,900, and I talked him down from 3,400. I needed to get the property on the market, but I was not happy with the pricing, which could have been more competitive. When I was looking for different companies to install carpet in the living room and three bedrooms, the Luna Flooring rep was the first one to show up for the appointment. I agreed with the price and the installation day and purchased from them. Three gentlemen came to install the carpet and they were the nicest three-man crew I ever had working on the house, whether outside or inside. They were very polite and clean. They picked up everything that they had in and they wanted to clean up some other stuff. One guy said not to worry about it and that he didn't have anything to do so he'll finish up. It was perfect all the way from the start to the end. The salesman, the service, and the installation were great. That right there is half the battle.
However, I'm not 100% satisfied with the carpet's quality. I didn't go with low-quality or high-quality carpet. I went right in between. But even in between, it was not as good as it used to be. It was the first time I ever used Luna, but my parents and other people had carpet a few years ago. Their carpet had better quality than what I had. It was a little tighter. The price also was a little higher back then.

Luna Flooring sent me an email that said they were having a sale for $50 a room and Empire was $100 a room. Then Luna sent me a coupon for 150 off. The deal sounded sweet. When the lady came out, she was really nice, pleasant, and explained everything to me so I used Luna. The gentlemen contractors came in and did what they had to do. I was leery at first because I just got lamps in my living room, and when they came, it was getting dark outside. I asked if they would be able to install the carpet with no light and they said that they got some light. They plugged it up then hung it over and did the living room and hallway. They had to come back and do the steps going to the basement because they didn't have enough carpet for that.
They didn't stop 'til they were finished. They were able to answer my questions even though they didn't talk my language, but I knew what they were saying and they understood me when I was asking them about the padding and stuff. They moved the furniture out and put it back. They did a really nice job and I loved their quality of work. I want to get a carpet for the bedroom too but then I'm gonna wait. Overall, everybody loves my carpet.

I was a third time customer of Luna and have spent about $10,000 with your company in the past 4 years. Between lack of installation and then lying about installation, lack of follow up, having to tell the same story at least 10 times, a wall hanging being broken and getting the runaround, I am disgusted. It has been a month and nothing has been resolved. It is a shame, the carpet looks great, but the customer service and lack of knowledge is horrible. I’d think as a returning customer or just a human in general, I’d be treated better.

I purchased vinyl flooring from Luna January of 2019 costing $5,000. Late May early June I noticed the floor was buckling at the ends. I called Luna to see if they could make it right and they sent out a manager to inspect it. When that manager was in my home he told me he thought it was a manufacturer defect. He wrote in his report that it was an installation problem. Luna wanted to replace only the boards that were affected. They told me if I contacted a third party certified flooring expert they would respect his report and go with this recommendation. I did that paying out of my pocket $275. The third party inspectors report said the kitchen area that the floor was installed in is too sunny and hot for a vinyl product. If it was replaced with the same product it would happen again. Luna's recommendation was for me to put up window darkening curtains.
I called the Luna customer service every two to three weeks for the next 7 months trying to come up with a resolution. Not only are they not willing to resolve the issue by correcting the problem and going with the third-party inspectors recommendation like they promised but they don't even call you back. The customer representative said her manager Ellen would call me at least three times that I spoke with her but Ellen never called me. At this point I would never recommend Luna to anyone. I wish they would pick up my floor and give me my money back. Please feel free to contact me I will tell you everything you want to know about Luna and their customer service.

Luna sale people recommended me the luxury vinyl floor planks. I decided to purchase the product for my entire living room area, my son’s room and kitchen area last year 2019. I had this product installed last year way back in July and my floor pop open. The entire living room area, my son’s room and kitchen area are wobbling when walking on the floor.
So, I called Luna and someone from this company came and told my husband that this how luxury vinyl floor planks. They tend to wobble and THERE IS NOTHING WE CAN DO. So, if this is a case why doesn’t sale people told me since first time, we purchased it. Why they scammed us almost $7,000 of product price and my floor and service were terrible. I am disappointed and this company is reported to the Bureau of Consumer Complaint and I am filing a consumer complaint for the product that they scammed me. Luna will be hearing from me good one. To whom it may concern. This is regarding Luna Flooring. We had vinyl floor put down on November 26th. The flooring was not payed right. They put white caulking in the doorways and did not know how to fix the doorways and admitted that salesman said floor would not scratch. Told him had to make sure it doesn’t because of our dog. We have scratches been. The installers did not speak English. Asked for another crew that spoke English to come out and the next two times they sent Someone it was the same crew and the crew leader is very intimidating and would not leave until I wrote a note and signed a paper saying he could speak good English because I told the company he could not speak good English.
We paid 6000 dollars for this vinyl. They are not backing their guarantee or trying to fix the problem. Supervisor will not even answer a phone or call a person back. Her name is Melissa. My floor looks terrible. My crown molding is not right and the white caulking is horrible looking. I will never ever recommend this company and I feel like the only remedy to fix this is problem gonna be to seek a lawyer.

I would NEVER use this company again. They called and gave us a 2 hour install window and were 4 hours late. They then RAN OUT OF CARPET! The installers said it happens ALL THE TIME. I called several people none of whom could help me. They continued to say someone would call me back NO ONE did. I had to spend 2 days and countless hours on the phone before getting a date for them to finish our carpet that we already PAID FOR! They literally collected the money and left the job half complete. I escalated calls up to top managers who offered me $100 off for the inconvenience. - What an insult on a $4,000 job. They then gave me incorrect phone numbers, transferred me to lines that I sat on hold for hours with no one answering and were flat out RUDE. THIS IS THE WORST COMPANY I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH!!!!

First they canceled a date that they selected. Then they finally came. They never mentioned they had to put a corner bead of 3/4" round all along our molding. It looks hacked in, but that's not even close to the worst part. They did my son's room and completely ripped off the baseboard heat from the wall and never even told us about it. Screws sticking out of the baseboard in my autistic son's room. After dodging our calls and emails and the lad on their website who texts when you talk to them constantly just cutting me off, we finally were able to get a hold of them. They basically told us it's our fault and should have expected damage, and the lady on the phone (not a plumber) doesn't understand why a licensed plumber would have to drain the system to reattach. Clearly because he's the professional who doesn't want to flood our house if the pipe breaks from bending back and forth, but ya the secretary knows best I'm sure.
Will never ever use them again. I work in construction and will make sure no contractor or homeowner will ever, ever, even consider them as an option. Completely ridiculous. If I had even the slightest amount of time on my hands I'd contact the news. Such a simple fix for such a big company. Yet they think they are better than you, and once they get your money they treat you like scum. I highly suggest you go with absolutely any other company on the planet. Home Depot. Lowe's. Mom and pop shops. They will all at least treat you with respect and dignity. Not leaving exposed screws in an autistic child's room without even letting you know they did it. I'm in complete awe that any business would ever conduct themselves this way. A true joke. If possible I would have given negative stars. Not worth it. Go somewhere else.

Set up for a Luna territory manager to come out for a quote on 1-9-2020. He showed up, seemed pretty knowledgeable and showed us the flooring they had. We picked out vinyl plank and he said they could do it. Figured I'd finance since it was an option. Signed papers and set a date for 1-11-2020 at 900am which pleased us and we were excited for new floors. So Friday night we moved all the furniture out of the room was an empty room for installers. At 830am got a voice recording confirming appointment which stated crew would be at location around an hour or two. We was getting excited.
I got phone call about 10 from strange number I answered and said hello twice and they hung up, was it the installer? Wasn't sure. But at 1030am not hearing anything from luna my girlfriend called their headquarters. She was told that installers van broke down. We would get a call when they knew what was going on. Stuff happens. But at 130pm we called again to find out something since we didn't hear anything. Of course they didn't have a clue on how long. But gave us a number for the regional office. So we called spoke to a guy he informed us he didn't have knowledge of any of his installers van breaking down so he put us on hold. He came back and stated was broke down and if he knew earlier he would have sent another crew to get material out of the van but it's only 200pm you still can but sounds like the communication in this company is non existent.
Now after like 8 different calls to both numbers dealing with people that is reading whatever is typed under remarks for your address. Got a call from regional. He said he was sending another crew to get material and they would be here within an hour. Great something going right again, Not at all. I was even close on that assumption. Crew of 2 gets here about 340pm in a van that looked like it shouldn't be on the road. But they are here. Guy carries in a box of flooring and one 8' piece of threshold. He said his van broke down. Ok same crew as original I guess? Asked him if he more threshold and he looked at me and said no. I then showed him the job he's supposed to do with flooring which involved 5 doorways and he didn't have enough materials. Then he gets his level out for the floor. Older house not going to have complete level floors. And I know my floors are not completely level.
Then I watch him record while he is got the level but he's got his hand at back of the level on carpet and pushing down. Ok check however you want I guess. So he calls someone at luna then hands me his phone. She states floors are not getting done to unlevel but same sentence she asked me if I wanted him to start the room and wait for other material? Really no I don't want a noncompleted room seriously? Meantime we are just frustrated over the whole day.
So Monday comes. Haven't heard anything from luna. Here we go again. We have to make the calls to them. Where is customer service? Not with this company. So after leaving messages and no return calls we get in touch with a lady that supposed to be in charge of the crew. Stated floors are too unlevel for the flooring we picked. Stated we'd have to set another appointment for other options. OK so the regional manager doesn't know anything about flooring? He looked at the floor. He measured the room and hallway. We picked out the flooring but he couldn't tell us the flooring wasn't going to work? Ok they ran my credit. I have to schedule for the sales guy to come out again so I scheduled it Monday and was set for Tuesday between 6-8 pm on 1-14-2020.
On Tuesday my girlfiend stated women from luna called her and was going to call me. I waited an hour and decided to call her. So I called and she stated management said they wasn't going to do my floor? My girlfriend and I decided we was changing products so once the sales guy showed up we would pick other products. But while we was sitting there she said she was going to confirm the appointment. Wow to our surprise it was canceled so we called and found out it was canceled by a rep. I messaged the lady and ask why it was canceled and no response once again from this company. Need to go back to whatever job they came from without customer service & communication. Now I'll just receive a sorry notification from this review trying to make it look like they care.

Luna did a pretty good job. But they laid the flooring in the opposite direction that the wood goes. I should have picked it up when they were laying it down because our other flooring in the house goes in a different direction. This is such a small little porch area so it wasn't a big deal. But if we were doing a big kitchen or a big room and they did it, I might have to ask them to come out and put it back in. The installer should have brought the subject up. But other than that, it was fine. We didn't have any problems. They were very efficient. They did the work. They were very professional, and pleasant people to work with. The cost was competitive with other pricing that we have received.

The installers and the salespeople at Luna that I had at the time of delivery were very good and excellent. The installers knew what they were doing. They worked very efficient and well-organized as a team. The salesperson knew what he was talking about. But the girl from Empire that came out didn't know what she was talking about. I'm not a company installer, but I sure do know how to measure things and she didn’t. She wasn’t well-trained in the position she held. Luna told me to call and I did and asked the time they were gonna install tomorrow. They told me to call the next day at 6 o'clock to find out roughly when. I called the following day and they didn't even have an order. And then the sales representative said they were loading the truck at that time. He had to handle the day of installation. So somewhere along the line, the right hand didn’t know what the left hand was doing. But that was the only bad thing about Luna.

I asked why would you just pack up and leave without first telling me that the job was incomplete. The installers spoke very little English. At first, I had Empire coming out to take a look and give a quote. The cost was what made me decide to go with Luna Flooring, and I had them install a laminate in the closet area and then carpeting in the rest of the family room. The installation itself was easy, but trying to set it up was a little difficult. I was on vacation when they were calling me to try to set it up, but I wasn’t able to answer the phone. When I called back, they said they didn’t have the order number, to which I responded, “Somebody called me to tell me it’s there and they’re ready to confirm the installation. So, the order number has to be there.”
So they had to put in a lost order number call, and they said that it would be resolved within 24 hours. I gave them 48, I called back, they said they couldn’t find it and that they would have to do a missing order. I said, “You guys had already done that. People have been calling and I’m just trying to return the call to confirm. So somewhere in the system, that order number is there.” Finally, they tracked it down. It took a bit of back and forth on the phone with them, but they were able to get it resolved on a Wednesday and it was being installed on Friday. With being on vacation and not being able to answer the phone, had I been able to answer the phone immediately, it probably wouldn’t have been as big of an issue as it became.
It was very frustrating to try to repeatedly tell them, “You guys called me.” As a customer, I shouldn’t have to tell them that. That should have also been a key that they'd need to do a bit more investigation, and then the fact they said that they would get back to me in 24 hours and within 48, it still hasn’t been resolved. Also, I had a laugh at the context of the message of their automated order line because it said, “Your installer will be contacting you shortly, but certainly within an hour or two.” It would have been easier to say, “An installer will be scheduled. Please wait for the call.” Luckily, the installer did contact me within 15 minutes. But that wording could have been a bit better. Nonetheless, I was happy with the final product and the installers. Those couple of hoops that I had to jump through knocked it down a bit, but it still doesn’t detract from the actual end result. It’s a beautiful carpeting and I'm very pleased with the results.

It was installed in my home in four bedrooms and a hallway. Their customer service was excellent as well and when the measurer came in, he was very professional and got everything measured. Also, the date that I gave them to install got modified and they were able to adapt to that quite easily. When they said they could do it in a day, I believed they could. But at the time, I needed to get some contract work accomplished before they came in. I needed to get some other painters and stuff through the rest of the house and didn’t want to jeopardize the carpet. So there was a delay of four weeks, but that was my doing. Then, we downgraded to the 2-year carpeting and kept the higher-grade vinyl flooring and that worked well for us. The price was comparable and my wife, who’s a buyer by trade, kinda forced him to call somebody else and give us an even better deal.
We had Luna Flooring install vinyl flooring in the main living area. The stairs and all upstairs, two bedrooms, a hallway upstairs and two bedrooms downstairs were carpeted. On installation day, the vinyl people showed up first and then I had another group come in with the carpeting. We got the paperwork squared away and the flooring was short seven boxes. The vinyl installer picked it up and he had to go probably an hour round trip. Then he stayed and finished the flooring. Everything was done in one day so it was awesome and the installation was very good. The installers were great as well as the flooring guys. I had to call the estimator because they wanted the money upfront. He said to call him and I did. He got it squared away for me very quickly so I’m quite pleased.
The quality was quite good. The carpeting was comparable to other brands but the vinyl flooring was much better. My son and my cousin were there, and instead of telling them, "I need you to move this,” the installers called back their office and rescheduled because there were things that still needed to be moved.
The second time, they didn’t think there was enough carpet. But then, they said it was best to put the vinyl down first anyway, that way the carpet can be tight when they eventually put it down. With that, the vinyl plank flooring got put down first. The third time around was a charm, the two gentlemen that came and installed the carpet were great. When they were ready to get to a section where things still needed to be moved, they said, “Can y’all move this now? I had to reschedule and there was no problem. They were very efficient, very courteous and friendly. The technicians turned out to be very useful and reliable as well. They're just a good company to deal with.

Updated on 03/01/2020: After 6 months of trying to get Luna to handle the issue with my 1.5 year old carpeting, they have disregarded my complaints. I have asked them if they stand behind a product that frays and unravels after this short of time. No comment. No response. I’ve taken my complaint to the BBB as well as the ABC7 investigation team and am hoping that Luna will stand behind their products and replace the cheap frayed carpeting.
Original review: I contacted Luna about a year after our carpeting was installed. It was installed in three bedrooms. They sent out an inspector who took pictures of the holes and snags. The holes and snags were in all three bedrooms. After the inspection, they decided that if I wanted it replaced that I would have to pay for it. They blamed my vacuum- which is top of the line. I asked the company to explain to me how it was my vacuum’s fault since I only vacuum about once a week. I’m very disappointed that they do not stand by their product after a year or their manager hasn’t contacted me (as promised) to resolve the issue.

Dealing with Luna has been nothing but a headache. The sales rep did a good job of trying to fix the situation, but that was the only remotely good thing about this experience. I have cancelled my installation and they are now refusing to give me my $500 deposit back, even after all of the issues I dealt with. Do not use this company.

I called Luna in addition to another company, and as strange as it would be, the pricings were comparable but I had a personal connection with the person who was selling it, just in general conversation found out we had several histories. So, I said, let’s go with Luna. The other reason that I went with Luna is that the sales rep took a little bit more time to isolate how colors were gonna impact the look of the wood for a 100-year old home.
We had two rooms and a staircase carpeted. It was the same product all the way throughout. We met on a Friday and we had some work renovating the house and work to do during that week, so we set it up to have the carpet installed the following Saturday. And they showed up on time and it was installed. They were in there an hour and it was done. Each time I'm over there and I see it, it looks great. It was competitively priced, and everything was done according to the agreed-upon work.

Luna Flooring installed carpets and flooring in our living room, kitchen, and steps. Their sales rep was very nice. The installation went okay. I let the gal know when she called to follow up that there were still soft spots that we thought that they were going to repair in our living room, and that has not been done. When we got it put in a couple of months ago, I have called and emailed them about it, and I haven't heard any response. There was one for the laminate flooring and one for the carpet. They were very professional. They came right in, did what they were supposed to do and they got it done quickly. They were excellent. Overall, the quality was decent. It was good for the price. However, they needed to have a wider selection of options, particularly on the carpet. It was good for what I wanted. I got exactly what I wanted, but when I was looking in general, there should’ve been a bit more selection.

We bought laminate flooring in March 2017 for 3 rooms in a rental property. Spent over $4,000. In September, when the tenants moved out, we realized that several of the boards were separating from each other in low traffic areas. There were also boards which were literally cracked. Additionally, there were other boards which were lifting up from the floor creating a fall hazard. Also, some of the boards were chipped....again, in low traffic areas. There were holes in the middle of some of the boards where the nails were popping up.
When I notified Luna, I was asked for photos, which were provided. They then said my warranty on installation had expired within 2 years and the damaged boards were not a product defect. They offered to have a technician come and tell me know what could be done to fix the issues, but I would have to pay $100 up front for them to come and then I could pay for the repairs. I've filed a complaint in the Better Business Bureau and if nothing can be rectified, I fully intend to take this to arbitration or file a lawsuit against them. I hope my review helps others avoid going through the same nightmare.

Some years back, I bought carpeting from Luna Flooring for my daughter's home. I was happy with it, which was why I called them, again. I bought engineered hardwood flooring and the installation went well. The flooring was not the quality that I thought it was though. I moved some things across and the flooring had indentations. If the wood was scratched, that's one thing, but indentations were not quite what I expected. Also, I specifically asked if the flooring might sound really loud and I was told no, but when you walk across the floor, it sounds like it's hollow underneath. And if you walk across them, even in house shoes that have a heavy bottom, closer to a street shoe, it clings. I'm not satisfied with the flooring.

I had waterproof Pergo floors put down through Luna completely throughout my whole entire first floor of my townhouse. The guy who came out to my house was fantastic. He was a wonderful person. And then, from there, I didn’t know what to do so I called back the main number to say, “Hey, I found a better pricing and you guys ended up matching it, so I went with you all.” I didn’t realize that I had to go back to the salesman that came to my house. So, I think they need to be a little bit more crystal clear about things. But I like the flooring. It looks really nice. I had a hard time understanding the installation guys, they spoke very broken English. But other than that, they did a great job. They were done in one day.

I made an appointment with Luna Flooring and had the guy come out to give me an estimate. When I made an appointment, I told him that I had to work that day and I couldn’t be home until 3:30. He said, “No problem. We'll put you in for a 4 o’clock appointment,” thinking, okay. Maybe if he was telling that I can have an appointment time, I must be able to have an appointment time. I got to work the next morning at 7:30, my phone rang, and they were coming to my house. They were on their way, and I was like, “No, I'm not home. I have an appointment in the afternoon.” They said, “No, we don’t give appointments.” I was like, “Well, your guy gave me an appointment.”
Then I tried to get in touch with him three times and he never returned my calls. And they wouldn’t accommodate my later time that I needed that day, so I had to wait and take more time off from work so that I could get a timeframe that currently works for Luna Flooring instead of me, the customer. The flooring is fine, just the process to get it done was a **. But the installers were really nice, helpful and moved all my furniture. They were great.

This has been the WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! I found these guys on HomeAdvisor and I wish the website never existed. It started out horrible from day 1. The first crew arrived at my home at the last second of their two-hour window. They finally come inside and they notice that I've got a glued down floor. They installed then tells me that he does not have the correct tools to take up the current floor. ARE YOU KIDDING ME?
So we have to reschedule. The second crew shows up... AGAIN at the end of the 2-hour window. They finally get to work, taking up the floors. Initially, I was told by the sales rep that this would be a 1-day job. It took the guy 1 day to take up half the flooring that I had. The installers seemed to know what they were doing, but they managed to get all kinds of hand smudges all over my freshly painted walls.
So they finally install these cheap floating floors. Granted, I was never given the opportunity to have them glued down like I initially owned. I would think the salesperson would say hey... Your floors are glued down, you're going to hate the floating ones. Nope... No Option Given! I'm guessing the profit margins are better for a floating floor for them.
The new floor isn't level at all. It sounds like I'm inside a racketball court or something when I walk on the floors. Portions of it are solid and other portions move like a trampoline. I call customer service and tell them, Hey we need to use the "Love Your Floor Guarantee that the salesperson told me about. The portion she forgot to mention to me is that you'll be paying for the install again if you choose to use this. I hate this floor so much, that I agreed to pay for the install... AGAIN. Sure, I'll sit at home wait for the end of the two-hour window, only to watch your guys take lunch 1 hour after arriving. ***AWESOMENESS*** Sign me up for more.
They show up to do the install for the 2nd time. You wouldn't believe it. They show up with the wrong color wood. At this point, it's comical. Also, the installer leans up against my freshly painted Biscuit Walls and leaves another freaking handprint. Good thing that bleach wipes works. So or course we have to reschedule. I confirm with the guy in my living room and we even pick the date. Friday the 18th. We confirmed it because he had to pull out his phone. I'm sent a text message the very next day to confirm as well and I go through that process.
Well the day of the install, I haven't received a call from the scheduling department. I know something is up, but typically they'll wake me up with the phone call at like 6:45 to confirm. This is the point where I completely lose it. I'm told that my install was CANCELLED by the installation manager because it's been rescheduled too many times. WTF?? What do you mean I've rescheduled it too many times? Are You FREAKING SERIOUS? Do you mean the reschedule from the time your guys showed up and didn't have the proper tools to do the job? Do you mean the time they showed up with the wrong color wood? Yes, those were not rescheduled on my end. It's because of the incompetence of your company.
I was told it was because "I wasn't ready." Um...Yeah, I'm not ready to have mismatched wood in my house. So then, I'm guessing someone pretty high up in customer service calls me back. They act like there is nothing wrong with this scenario. It's just business as usual and we'll have someone there on Tuesday. If you're reading this. Just chose another company. It's not worth the headache. I wish I had chosen another company. Better Yet, just go to lumber liquidators and get a quality wood and pay an installer. You'll be happier.

Luna is the worse company I've had to experience. I had hardwood steps installed in April 2019 and the installers left my walls with nicks and dirt all over the area they were working in. After several phone calls and promises that this will be taken care of, it's October 2019, and my walls have not been repaired. An area supervisor or should I say, liar, continually texted me and asked for pictures. I did everything that was asked of me, only to get someone to finally come out to do the repairs in September 2019! And paint and to find out they were at the wrong house for the pictures that were sent. What kind of business is this?

When the carpet finally got installed we were told by the installer to call Luna to schedule the door shaving. 5 days later we were told it couldn't be done. If you hire Luna, they will send a contractor out to sell you the carpet, and a subcontractor to install it, and a call center somewhere to answer any questions (actually not answer any questions). Our bedroom doors now do not close due to the pad the sales rep sold us. There has been zero accountability. We were willing to pay extra for this, but they got paid, so they've just moved on.

Monday comes and no phone call to me by Luna so I called. Said I could do a re-select if I paid $300. Me pay for you bringing wrong carpet? Or they would discount the carpet on my floor by $100. So $900 for carpet we did not order. Yeah right. The padding was to be like memory foam, nope, carpet 1.5-2” pile, nope. Color is silver, not what we were shown in sample book.
