I had Luna come to my home and the experience was what I expected but the two lads brought two boards of carpet samples (one inch by one inch) and didn't give me any to examine quality or thickness for my records. I tore out my own old carpets and padding and when my new carpet appeared and I saw all the clear plastic threads mingled amongst the beige threads shining in the sun outside, my heart dropped this was ABSOLUTELY NOT the carpet from the sample board I had ordered but looked like the cheapest thinnest example I may have seen in staging homes, it's not what we ordered which was a level 2 plush. We had no carpet, I could have just refused (which I should have done) but learned a lesson, they guaranteed it for 10 years, said it was tested by elephants at the zoo, and nothing changed its integrity.... but the carpet started bubbling within two years. I will not have it restretched to sort out the bubbling. I learned my lesson.
PLEASE pay the extra $`1000 and chose your carpet carefully with a sample square at Home Depot or a more reputable firm... This was the switchiest bait move I had ever seen, they know you are desperate, wish I had just put a small amount down and had the manager come back out. I have carpet in my 20 year old home that is in such good condition compared to the plastic crap Luna placed here 6 years ago, I wanted to freshen up the halls, guest room, and home office that is rarely used. And it's torture looking at them now. Those guys installing my carpet knew how upset I was, as if it's not the first time this has happened. My own fault, get the name brand, the maker, make them guarantee it, and better yet, go to a reputable company get samples and some accountability.

They made an appointment with me. I called to confirm they would arrive by a certain time. They never showed. I called to see what happened, and a customer service person said, "oh no one was assigned this call. That never happens." I agreed to reschedule for the following week. I get a call the next day and am told. Oh, we do not service this area but we can have one of our associates come, but never scheduled it. The woman who called told me she would escalate my request to have an executive contact me about the horrible experience. I never received a call. Clearly whoever is running operations needs to be retrained! So not a buyer...but only because they couldn't get their act together!
Wendy, thank you for bringing this to our attention. We regret that your experience did not reflect the standards we hold. Our carpet became loose and bumpy and is buckling in several spots and looks worse than our old carpet that we had for years. We trusted Luna and their reputable name but were very dissapointed in their work!
Dayan, thank you for taking the time to express your dissatisfaction with the quality of the carpet installation in your home. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience it has caused. I would not use them. I had my floor put in in 2001. It does not hold up, the installers made some bad cuts and now some pieces are coming off. The shoe molding does not hold up to Roombas. I called to have some issues repaired and they said that the floor type is discontinued and they cannot help. So these floors are just temporary and can never be fixed. They never gave us any extra material. When the guys did the job they rushed. They left saw dust all over the floor from cutting inside my house, I couldn't even see the floor when they finished. Unless you want to pay for a new floor in five years I would stay away.
Tim, we regret to learn that your experience did not meet your expectations, and we wish to assure you that your concerns are taken with the utmost seriousness. We acknowledge your prior communication with our customer service team regarding these issues. Please do not hesitate to contact us should you require any further assistance.

I had Luna put down my flooring throughout the whole house. I can show a receipt for how much I paid for right now. My receipt is in Delaware and I am in Texas for the next few weeks. When they first put the flooring down it was beautiful then I started getting some spacing. Then I got cracks. Spacings got worse. I called Luna two separate times to have them check it out and they told me they would come out and check it and if they found out that it was not the manufacturer‘s fault or their fault of putting the flooring in or anything else I would have to pay them $400 so I refuse twice. As soon as I got to crack in the floor I said, "You know what I’m calling." They sent a gentleman out. He did all kinds of test. He took pictures of the cracks in the hallway, the kitchen, the living room, the dining room he took pictures and Moisture content of like seven different areas in the living room the hallway, the dining room. Everything was perfect.
There was one spot in the kitchen that he said showed up as a very low moisture content. When I called the company today to get the results they told me it was a very high moisture content, so I’m asking them to send me the paperwork on that to prove it and then my next question was to them and I’m waiting to see if I hear an answer. Did they would they should have took a moisture content before they put the flooring down so at the end of it they tell me that they were $9800 which is probably more than what I originally paid just to fix the areas between one bedroom and another bedroom. I told them I’m contacting attorney because I think this is wrong. They should not be able to get away with this. They are not backing up their product and this will affect Empire too because Luna is part of empire so if you decide to use either one of them companies for your flooring, please be careful. I hope this helps people in the future because I’m not very happy and I’m sure you understand why.

I saw that Luna has the tiles that I could choose from. The installation team were very professional, thorough, and were able to answer the questions that I had. They were thorough enough to come back and correct the four areas that needed to be corrected. It was no problem for the individual to correct it. I love the floors that I had them do.
However, there were some scheduling issues that caused cancellations. One time I had to call in to schedule and they couldn't find my information until I said that I was with Luna. They then directed me to the right individuals. On another occasion, I canceled the installation, but the installer still showed up because they didn't see the notes that it had been canceled. There were three scheduling conflicts in total. Also, when the installer came out, he didn’t know who Luna was. He said that he was from Empire."

I checked with different companies but Luna had a slightly better offer and deal at the time. The project was for the carpeting of three bedrooms. Two people came here on time. We had majority of everything set up, so there wasn't anything left in the rooms. They took the old one out, cleaned up, and put all the new stuff in. They were nice, respectful, and got it done really fast. They double-checked and made sure I liked it before they left. So, I was happy. The carpet looks great and I like the extra padding. It makes the carpet softer to walk around.

Making an appointment online with Luna Flooring was easy. The gentleman who came by was very professional, polite, and thorough. The quality of the flooring is good and is holding up well so far. It’s pretty much what I was looking for.
In most jobs I’ve done, like fence installations, painting, roofs, and moving, you pay half upfront, and the rest after the job is complete. It’s kind of scary when Luna asked to be paid before the job even started. What if something goes wrong? Then you’re stuck. I don’t know if Luna has had instances where they could trust people, and people didn’t follow through on their payments.
But I think overall, the company should be a little bit more trusting in their customers that they would pay at the end of the job. They could also offer financing options that customers are eligible for, something that’ll give them some incentives.

I had carpet installed on the second floor of my house in October 2023. The carpet was installed in four bedrooms, four closets, the hallway, and the staircase. In November of 2024, the carpet in two rooms and the hallway started to pucker and roll up. I called Luna to complain. I was told that it would cost $600 for a contractor to come out and stretch the carpet! This is ridiculous! 13 months after installation, the carpet starts to come up! I live alone, so there is no way that my footsteps caused this. I had a contractor from a competitor look at the carpet, and he said the installation was poorly done in those affected areas. Because they were installing carpet in my basement, because there was no way I was going to use Luna again, they stretched the carpet for free! I am very disappointed with Luna.

The guy quoted me an initial price of $3,200-some for 250 square feet, one room. I said, "That's crazy." He made a call, came back and said, "I just called my boss. We have some leftovers in stock that will cover and now we're looking at $1,997. We got enough to cover and it's your benefit. It's gonna be very cheap." Two thousand dollars for one room is still not something I would consider cheap or inexpensive or reasonable. I said, "I'll think about it." He said, "You gotta make a commitment right now in the 1,997." I said, "I'll think about it." I called the local provider. Same manufacturer of the carpeting. Same model. I paid 1,400 bucks installed.
I'm never going to Luna Flooring. The prices are outrageous. The salespeople play by overquoting and tryng and make people feel better by giving them a lower quote. I just want them to shoot straight with me. But the kid did a great job. I'm sure that's how he was told to sell this stuff. Luna and Empire, it's a large, overrated corporation. The behavior is a little questionable. I will always go local first.

Within 18 months our floor has been splintering and coming up in pieces. Contacted Luna, they had us get a third party assessment. Upon the assessment, they agreed it was a delamination issue but it was the fault of the manufacturer. They filed a claim with manufacturer and they wanted to replace the boards. However in that time, more boards became delaminated and started splintering. We asked Luna to appeal. They sent out their own assessment team and concluded there was excess moisture, even though the third party assessment showed that wasn't the case. I asked for a report of their assessment and they continue to not respond. Have asked on multiple occasions to see the evidence and they won't reply back.
They claim it will cost $5,000 to repair the boards affected. Yet, they agreed previously that it was the fault of the manufacturer. At the end of my patience with them. I need to flooring removed as it poses a danger to our family which includes two children with disabilities that find it difficult to navigate over all the splintering. This is a massive problem and Luna will not respond.

Do not do business with this company. The sales/quoting experience is pleasant and their quote comes in lower than other bids/contractors, but there is a reason why. The installers are completely unqualified and have no clue what they are doing. From the minute the installers arrived, they did not have materials required to perform the job as scoped. They were supposed to install LVP and new baseboard. In addition, they were supposed to chip up tile and install LVP in an additional area. Upon arrival, they did not know they were supposed to chip up the tile, and then tried to get out of doing the job by saying they could lay the new flooring over the existing flooring. They had to go out and purchase baseboard during the day, and purchased pieces that were way too small and required additional cuts to install.
Finally, they removed additional baseboard that was not supposed to be removed and now I am left with an unfinished basement, and entry way to my home. This company is an absolute nightmare. Do not do business with them.
When trying to cancel the workers from coming back, I have been promised calls back with no luck, so I have no clue if workers will be showing up at my home today. I put in a request to have all materials removed from my home and want a refund. They make promises of one day flooring and that their teams are experts at installation, when this could not be further from reality. When you see the quote come back much lower than others, It really is too good to be true. Run away!! Do not give them your money! It is an absolute disaster waiting to happen.

Luna's salesperson was very knowledgeable and helpful in regards to our concerns. I have two young children, so I was expressing my request of certain flooring and he suggested something else that I hadn't even considered. We went with his suggestion because it was cheaper and it made more sense. It was, overall, a good experience. I even kept his card. So, when I'm ready to do my upper levels, then I’m going to be calling him back. We ended up getting a carpet. The two gentlemen that came in and took the old flooring out and put in the new carpet were quick and prompt. They went right to work. It was awesome. I kept my kids out of the way, and they were at it. Everything looks great. Even now, a month or so afterwards, everything looks the way I wanted it.
