The Luna salesperson wasn’t upfront as I picked out a flooring. I told him, “This is thin. Once you take out my carpet, it’s not going to reach up to the level of the floor next to it." He said, “That’s not a problem. We’re gonna put some padding under it, and it’ll bring it up. It’ll be just fine.” When the guys came out to put in the flooring, we were off by almost half an inch and ended up having to pay an additional third of the price to get plywood brought and put in to bring the floor up. Lucky for me, I could afford that. But for a lot of people to have their flooring taken out, and then being told that it’s gonna cost nearly another $1,000 in order to get it up to where it should be, that's a hit.

Still, the Luna installers are the best guys ever. We only had two guys, and we had three rooms to do so it was a lot. We had moved out a lot of stuff and there were still a lot of stuff to move, but they were absolutely awesome. With how they got it done and cleaned up after themselves, they were great. I would have to warn my friends about the sales though.

The rep from Luna brought samples and I was able to match it with my walls and cabinets. She was very good about explaining the products. Then, the guys who came to do the installation were very friendly too. I had vinyl sheeting installed in our kitchen and dining room, and the ease of taking care of it is my favorite. Overall, I would recommend Luna Flooring.

I got laminate flooring from Luna. I was gonna do Empire but I really liked the floor that Luna offers, so I cancelled it with Empire. The sales rep of Luna explained everything. He did a good job. Also the guys who came out were very professional and very clean. They did everything. I really appreciate how they did it. I like the color of the flooring the most because I got the cherry on the bottom. I wish I would have done everything the same color of the one I did on the rooms because the cherry flooring is a headache. I have a puppy and his footprint is all over the place. So I clean it up for everyday. But Luna is good overall. My neighbor just got some Luna flooring because of me. They asked me, “Can I see your flooring?” I said, “Oh my god, here you go.” And they went home, and all of a sudden, two weeks later, Luna was there. And they got the same thing I had.

Luna did the carpet in my basement and I love that. Then, I used them again to install the tilework in the bathroom. I like the way the guy did both installations. The carpet went straight and it was a really smooth service. They had the wrong tiles for the bathroom but other than that the flooring has met my expectations. The quality is wonderful, too.

Our carpeting from Luna Flooring was installed in two bedrooms on the upper floor and hallway, and going down the stairs. At first, I thought of Empire and then two other local companies here. I had Luna carpeting at another home I had, and I was very happy with that. It just kinda snowballed. Everything just took off right away. The other two local ones were ridiculously expensive, and I just thought that I never worked with Empire per se. Then when I found out that Empire and Luna are sister companies, I thought, “Well, doesn’t matter. I already started with Luna so I’m gonna go with Luna.” I was just surprised with the price because way back when I used them at my other how, I paid $1,000 for all 25x12 living room. I’m a retired person so I have to watch my penny. But I was able to get financing, and as far as the quality, I was very happy with it.

The only thing is I heard the fellow taking off my old carpeting down the stairs scraping. So, I went over and I said, “Hey, hey. Take it easy. You’re ruining the wood.” He said that he’s got a time frame and he’s gotta do it. I asked if he could use the pliers and pull them out, and he said that would take time. When I told him that the gentleman upstairs was doing the same thing and he was not gouging the wood, he said, “Do you want me to do it or not?” He was not rude, but just matter-of-factly. I told him I wanted him to do it but I’d like him to be more careful. The other guy doing the upper floor was wonderful. He was careful. He was slow and considerate. He listened. He didn’t say like, “I had to get it done.”

I was very happy with the work that they did and the carpeting. I called the next day after the carpeting was in and I told someone what happened, and they were kind enough to listen. Then they offered me a $100 discount. I’m gonna have laminate flooring put in as soon as I pay off a good chunk of this year. So, the person I spoke with was kind enough to give me $100 off on that. I would definitely recommend them highly. I’m very happy with Luna. I like the quality.

Everything went great in our experience with Luna Flooring. They installed vinyl plank in my living room, dining room, and family room, and we also had carpet in two bedrooms. We considered other brands prior to purchasing from Luna and they didn't include the labor and everything in it. So, we went with Luna because of the ease and convenience of having someone come to the house and tell us everything we wanted to know and bring the samples to us and take care of everything. Nathan was the representative we had and he was excellent and fantastic. Then, the installers were very good too. They were here for 2 days and the carpet for a third. They were all very neat, prompt, did what they said they were gonna do when they said they were gonna do it, and cleaned up nicely.

There was some water damage in the basement. So we have carpet installed by Luna Flooring. The representative was supposed to come out here and she called me so many times all up to dinner hour to change the time to come. I told her to just forget about it. I didn't wanted to deal with them and I was getting ready to go with someone else. They asked me if I would talk with another representative and the manager said that they were very sorry for what happened and they would make it worth our while. They also dropped the price, which was very nice of them. My expectations has been met and if I decide to use Luna again and something happens, I know that they will fix the problem.

First, the guys showed up abominably late, then said they needed to come back to finish. This was on Wednesday. On Thursday, we waited while they were supposed to show up in the morning, and then they said they had to reschedule. They would call in the morning on Thursday to set up a time. At 1pm on Thursday, a customer service rep called to ask how the installation had gone. Ha. Never heard from them. She said the installers would call back within 3 minutes. Half an hour later, after hearing nothing, I called, and the rep who said he’d check with the installers to get an ETA, left me on hold for 25 minutes, at which time I hung up. I called AGAIN and was told that the rep would check with the installers AGAIN. The rep called me back and said the workmen were 90 minutes out. The ETA is now 6 pm on a Friday night. I’ve never dealt with a more unprofessional company in my life.

We contracted Luna to replace tile in our basement bathroom as well as level the perimeter of the basement floor to lay carpet down. TWICE they came to do the first part of the job (tile install and floor leveling) and BOTH times the crew did not have the materials needed to do the job. BOTH times I sat on the phone for over an hour where I was told “management could not be reached”. After the first installment attempt failed, I was promised the next installers would have all of the materials and info needed to complete phase one of the job I had paid for.

The very next week, the installation team showed up WITHOUT the needed materials AGAIN. That’s 2 days of my time, waiting for them to show up, keeping my kids out of activities to be here for the installation, for them to come unprepared and without a resolution to get the job done. This is the most incompetent company I have ever dealt with. I had to call repeatedly to get anyone on a position of authority to speak with me. Even after that, they still came unprepared. Hands down, this is the WORST experience I have ever had with customer service of any kind.

Luna Flooring's quality and price were much better compared to other brands. And the salesperson was very informative. We had carpet installed in the front staircase. Luna's installer and the salesperson were absolutely appreciated. And we had Empire out before Luna Flooring and it was not nearly as good of an experience. We asked for a quote on the staircase, and Empire's rep was like, “Eh. I’m gonna say like between 800 to 1,000.” He didn't show us carpets and it seemed like he was really uninterested. It was a much better experience with Luna. We were also looking at hardwood floors, but we have existing hardwood floors and it’s an old Victorian. And Luna's rep took the time and even went in the basement to check out the floorboards. He went way above and beyond and he was very professional and very courteous. He was great.

I had floors installed using Luna. The paperwork/loan process was great and I thought the installation had gone smoothly. But then our floor started to bubble near the foyer. Luna sent an inspector out and he informed us that the flooring was not installed properly. Humidity and air got underneath the flooring, causing it to buckle and bubble in the summer heat.

Luna responded by telling me that they could not do a partial installation of that particular area because they no longer carried that style/color of flooring. They said I needed to pay $1100 because there was some "topical swelling" in another area which they believe was negligence on my part, not at all related to their shoddy install (which has caused other areas of the floor to swell and bubble). I refuse to pay for them to fix the problem that stems from a poorly done installation. When I informed Luna I was told they "cannot offer anything at no cost. This replacement would need to be paid." I have email correspondence to back all of this up. So now have a crappy floor that I paid thousands for with no fix in sight.

I’ve had my whole house redone in different floorings with Luna, and what I had to experience over this last couple of months was not even comparable to the service that was provided years ago. And I know that we had different crews, everybody’s work ethic is not the same, but at the same time, Luna has a name that it has to stand for. And so, they have to have the right representation.

I’m very disappointed that nobody has reached out. I had some floors put in in my bathroom, and they had this some kind of a blow machine, and they were rolling it back-and-forth between the rooms. I just happened to notice as soon as they were leaving, and I called the office ASAP that they have to be careful because they were dealing with so much space. So, I have a little hole in my hallway, and I reported it on that day, and nobody has resolved it. There was a scratch on my floor going from the hallway into the other room, and nobody has resolved it.

Also, I’ve had appointments that people didn’t show up. It caused me to lose time off of my job, and they didn’t even have the courtesy to call to say, “Hey, we not coming today.” And then, they came in to repair in front of my patio door. The floor inside is buckling and turning. It started fading from the sun. So, it might’ve been a bad batch. But what happened was when they put that floor down, they left three boxes of materials. So, I informed the guy that I got three boxes of material downstairs. My husband took them down there. He looked at it, and wrote the job up and said, “All right, we can fix this.”

So, then they were supposed to come out on that Saturday. I understand things happen, but nobody called me. And then they rescheduled it, and I got it done on Friday. But there is a flip side to what I got done on Friday. And I’m not sure who’s held reliable. But they tore the floor up, and then the material they were gonna use was different. I had no choice but to put that down, but it doesn’t even match. I have two claims. And from day one, I had spoken to the manager. I even spoke to her on the day of, and he said he looked at the material and it’s the same numbers as what was on the floor. But he tore up all the floor, and we ain’t have any material. And nobody called me back. He told me, “I’m gonna call you right back. I’m walking over to the other side to speak to the higher superior.”

My husband says, “You know what, it’s just over there, it’s by the door. Let’s not worry about it. And then maybe after Christmas, we’ll just redo the whole floor.” But they still need to compensate me. We should’ve paid attention to make sure that that was what they left us. But they said it was our extra material. So, we showed it to the man. Before they started the job, they should’ve made sure that what that box said is what it was supposed to have been. I still have the box. But it’s not the same flooring. It’s hardwood flooring, but the hardwood floor that I have was a gloss. So, that means all that area over by my patio door and that dining area, which is like 58 square feet, is all a different type of hardwood.

Nobody’s called but then I get a bill in the mail that say, “Hey, your payment is due.” Luna should make sure that the workers that they’re bringing in are representing them. I’m going to fight paying them. My experience was awful and I have come to the conclusion that I can’t work with them. I’m not gonna recommend them to anybody.

My husband moved our heavy furniture including a piano into our dining room and kitchen, tore up the old carpet, and replaced the sub floor. Furniture moving and removing the old carpet was part of our install, but my husband did it to make the install smoother. We painted and worked late into the evenings to make sure everything was ready for Saturday. We were told we would get a call between 6:00AM-8:00AM. NO ONE CALLED.

I called at 9:00AM and was told that they were getting the supplies ready for the job and would arrive at our home around 10:30AM. We waited and no one showed up. I called customer service at 12:00PM and they said they were running behind. Shortly after we received a call stating the installation was canceled because the installer was hurt on another job, even though we were told we were the first job that was on the schedule for the day. We explained that we waited all day and that our house was upside down because we moved furniture and had no flooring down. The customer service agent put us on hold and when she returned she said that she couldn't reach anyone from installation and the soonest we could reschedule was Tuesday!!!!

We asked what time because either my husband or I would have to take off of work and she couldn't give us a time, and that MAYBE the installation would be Tuesday?!?! I am so angry and disappointed. I can't use my kitchen because my couch and love seat are in the middle of the floor. I have 3 more days with my house in disarray with a MAYBE we will have an installation on Tuesday. I would like for Luna to be more transparent when they come out to measure and give you a price for your floors. They don't tell you anything but the price unless you ask for more details. They still don't tell you how many boxes of flooring is needed for the square footage. I love my floors however they just need to be more transparent.

I’d definitely recommend, too.

We felt that Luna's price was fair. The installers were really nice. They did a really good job on their installation, and their customer service was really good. Also, within 90 days if we didn’t like the carpet, they'd come and reinstall.

Luna was quite a bit more than Home Depot but I told the rep that and he worked it out that they matched Home Depot. I had carpeting installed in the living room and the hallway, and the guys who installed them were very helpful. They moved everything and put them back. They did a decent job of installing it and we were very happy. I liked the thickness of the carpet, which was very good, and that it looks nice. Luna Flooring did a very nice job too.

Luna Flooring's cost was a little bit high. I considered one of the Home Centers, but Luna was recommended, so I went with it. I had carpeting installed in the living room, dining room, and the bedroom. And the installation went well. The workers put my furniture out on my balcony, but in their defense, there really wasn’t anywhere else to put it. I was warned when I called to make the appointment that I might get sticker shock. And it’s a little bit of like, “Oh, did I really get my money’s worth?” So, the one thing I did not like is that I did not get any type of detailed invoice that showed the price per square foot, what all the prices were, and what was included.

Price-wise, after doing more research and talking to people, Luna was fair, but I didn’t realize how expensive carpet is nowadays. But supposedly, I got a free padding upgrade, and I got this, and I got that, but there’s nothing to show me. And as a consumer, it’s really important to see details. But they were really good. I had some furniture that also needed to be disassembled and my sales guy was awesome. He said, “We’ll take care of that for you.” Overall, I’m pleased right now with the quality of my carpet. I’m really liking it.

I called again to cancel the entire order and was told I would have to leave a message on an answering machine and wait for a call from someone. Still no call. I've had to call my bank and report this as a fraudulent transaction. They are horrible! How do you run a business by voice mail? Communication is terrible with these guys.

We are desperately trying to get our house ready to sell and chose Luna to redo the kitchen and living room with laminate flooring throughout as well as the bathroom with ceramic tile. Now we are dealing with a large step up into our bathroom and an unauthorized shaved door. When we called customer service we were given the run around and expected to wait up to 24 hours for any kind of resolution to our problem. We are extremely unsatisfied with the look of it and wanted it fixed immediately. If you are going to choose Luna don’t! But if you do make sure you are there to check that the right materials are being used and that they have the right instructions for how your floor should be laid. Both times they came out to lay our floors they have had the wrong materials and wrong info. We obviously made the wrong choice with Luna. Don’t make the same mistake we did.

I decided to go with just one product for my condo, and ended up having to purchase about 950 square feet of laminate flooring from Luna Flooring. I had to have it installed in two days, but I also had the product put in to my bathrooms, which was the discussion when the salesperson came out. There was a whole discussion about doing the bathrooms and what it would entail. The installation people that they sent out did a great job, but they speak very limited English which can be very difficult to completely understand what they’re trying to tell you.

There was tile around the edge of the bathrooms, so in order to install the product, they had to take this little rim of tile off the bottom of the wall. They had not provided a baseboard for the bathrooms, and they told me that there would not be one provided for all the other rooms because there’s already baseboard there. But it was never brought up about the bathrooms. The salesman did not take it into consideration. At the time, I offered to go out and purchase the baseboard, but they didn’t want me to leave because they said they couldn’t stay there alone. So, I couldn’t do that.

I let Luna know that same day that the job wasn’t complete because they wouldn’t take into account the baseboards in the bathroom. So, from that point, it took me several weeks, and I ended up getting their attention by putting a complaint on Facebook. Once I put a complaint on Facebook, I got a call. And they made a deal that if I would go out and purchase the baseboards, then they would send somebody back out to install it at no cost. They would also credit me back some money for the inconvenience. I heard from the salesman three times. I had to contact him every time, and I always got a response, “I’m trying to work it out. I’ll get back to you this afternoon.” The third time he was gonna call me back in the afternoon, but I have never heard back from him. And I didn’t bother to text him to let him know that it had subsequently been fixed.

Every time they would call me to ask me how did I like the flooring, I would always respond, “It’s not complete.” So, finally, I went out and I purchased 24 feet of baseboard from Home Depot. I live in a third floor condo and I hiked these baseboards upstairs just for the sake of getting the thing done. Luna sent somebody and it took just a few hours to install it. It looks perfectly fine now. But my biggest concern was I really had to shame them on Facebook for them to actually talk to me and negotiate a resolution. The flooring itself looks beautiful, and the installation was done very well. Even though there was a bit of a communication issue with the installers, they tried very hard and they cleaned up after themselves. They were very meticulous.

Luna Flooring should have been more diligent to follow up the complaint from a consumer. I talked to no less than three people, not including the salesman, before I finally made a complaint on Facebook. It could’ve been resolved quickly and clearly. I was willing to work with them to resolve it, but I couldn’t get anybody to take me seriously or to talk to me about how to resolve it. Their customer service really failed when there was a hiccup. If there is a hiccup, they need to respond. They need to talk to people and try to resolve it, and not just ignore them and hope that we go away.

Luna Flooring is very popular. I have a friend that had them install carpet late last year, and he was very pleased. I had them install high-quality carpet in my living room, dining room, hallway, and bedroom as well as laminate at my front door. However, I had an issue because the laminate was installed first and the tech for that job said that the carpet layers had the little strip that goes between the laminate and the carpet and that they would be installing that. But then, the carpet layers came and they said that was the laminate installer's job.

So, I had to wait because the following weekend when I made the appointment, the installation guy was on his way and said that all of a sudden, he didn't have enough of that strip. I had to wait about three weeks for the installation to be complete. Though it wasn't a hardship, it was kinda aggravating. Still, my saleslady, Carla, was great and I love my flooring. Everything has been fabulous thus far.

I had an interesting experience with Luna Flooring. And overall, it was good. Our sales guy was great, and we ordered a particular carpet. And when the installers came, the carpet did not look like what I had pictured. I took a picture of the carpet that we bought, so it didn't look the same. I didn't think it was the same carpet. And other people who looked at the picture and looked at the actual carpeting weren’t sure. Now, our sales guy was sure, but it took me a minute to get in touch with him, but he did get back to me. He also came back to our home and showed us the sample and put their sample on top of that sample, and so we could see that it was the same. So, then he made all the arrangements to have it reinstalled the next day.

The next day, the installers came and they didn't have enough carpeting to do all of the stuff that we needed to have done. So, they said we needed to order more carpeting because what was on their sheet was not enough and that was what was in the truck. So, they went away the second day without installing the carpet. So, the third day came and they showed up, and the installers were there bright and early. We got the right carpet. They were a little delayed because they had to go and get this extra carpet that those first set of installers said was needed. And when they got back to the house, it turned out they really didn't need any more. I don’t know where the glitch was. The sales guy said some computers print out a particular number, and he thought that that was where the error was.

So, on the third day, the installers came with more than enough carpet. They installed it. They were fastidious in their work. They did exactly what they were supposed to do and they got it done quickly, and we’re very pleased with the final product. Our salesperson recommended that we get a particular thickness and pad, and that was a great idea. The carpet does feel so good under our feet and it looks fantastic, so we’re very pleased. It all worked out in the end.

Before using Luna Flooring, we also considered Empire. Luna, at that time, was having a sale. So, they’ve stuck out in our minds. But also, we had originally thought we’d go with laminate flooring throughout in the areas that we had carpeted, and the price just wasn’t to our liking. So, we ended up going with the Berber carpeting, and that was the best decision anyway. The salesman recommended the color that he said goes best with the flooring we had gotten, and he was right on. So, it’s great.

We would use Luna again and we would recommend our salesman highly to anyone who is looking for carpeting. He was really a good guy. There was a little bit of an ordeal, but it all worked out in the end, so it was a good deal. And financially speaking, it was a good deal for what we ended up having carpeted. We had the carpet installed in three bedrooms and a hallway upstairs.

The wrong color was ordered and all of a sudden I needed underpayment for an additional charge, which is the opposite of what I was told at time of contract. I needed this installed by the following Tuesday latest for realtor photos. Didn’t hear from the installation manager until Tuesday mid day (now too late) and have been playing telephone tag with her ever since.

Tried calling customer service (actually, I have to repeat my story because the installation manager doesn’t have a direct line), finally asked for a customer service manager who sounded as though she would make progress. Line was disconnected (likely on my end) and when I called back she was no longer available, nor was the installation manager. I used Luna Flooring before for carpeting in my basement and they did a good job. This time, they installed wood floors in the upstairs and the stairway in our home. Our new flooring is far more easier to manage now. And I don't have to deal with carpets anymore. The installation went good. I thought the installers would come out a little earlier than what they did. They started up loading the trucks the morning. So, it wasn't extremely late, but it was a big job. They got here at almost 10:00 in the morning. I thought they would be out here a little earlier. But other than that, it was fine. They finished up around 7:00 at night. I planned just to be at home anyway that day. Luckily, I didn't have anything planned.

We had a mix-up the first time. When the salesperson came out, then we signed everything up, she said that I had to get back on her. She said it would be two installations. So, she said the stairs are done separately from the other parts of the house. So I said, "Okay, let's do one weekend the stairs and the following weekend the rest of the house upstairs." She said that would work. So, I got a call the day of the first install and the installation guy said they were on their way to come do the whole house. I told him I wasn't told that but I was told that the stairs is sort of like a separate install. It was 7:00 in the morning. I couldn't wake everybody up. My kids were asleep. We hadn't broken anything down. So, I would have to reschedule it.

I got back with the salesperson. She said it didn't seem right. I told her that was what the install guy told me. She then said she would get back with me. And she called me back. And we're up and down. I don't know who she called. And she's like, "That's the way it normally works. People get stairs done and they get all the parts of the house. It's two separate install." So, nothing got installed that first day because of the screw ups. But I didn't really make a big deal out of it.

I was kinda upset. I was preparing myself the one weekend the stairs were gonna get done, so I knew what I had to move on the stairs. And then the following weekend, I knew the upstairs will get done. We were gonna start a day before like Friday. I'd take off work and start breaking everything down for these guys on Friday morning, but that never happened. There was a miscommunication somewhere. I was just kinda surprised when I got a call the first set-up. Other than that, everything went good. And the floors are great.

They were willing to provide the cleanup and taking away the materials. Other local contractors wouldn’t provide that. It was all-inclusive with Luna. They were clear in communicating, gave us the information, checked everything first, and told us the plan. The hardwood floor and the carpeting were handled very well by both of the installation crews. We’re very happy with how everything turned out.

The only downside is when the salesperson came out, they didn't remind me to use my $150 coupon. So, I wasn’t able to apply the $150 coupon I had to the total purchase, which was a good $10,000 in flooring. And I called Luna's office and asked them to apply it. I got a callback and it was a general voicemail from somebody in their office. I called again and I never heard back. But the flooring and the work that was done were excellent. The salesperson was excellent too. But Luna Flooring should encourage their sales reps when they come out to ask if the customer got an email or any kind of discount that they wanted to apply, because I signed up right then and there. First off let me say that installation was amazing and this is in no way a negative review on the carpet itself or the installation. However my initial sales associate and nearly everyone I have communicated with at Luna has resulted in a less than positive experience. First, sales associate was to run my husbands information for our credit card check. We were informed that Wells Fargo offered financing terms that worked well for us. Turns out, Les (our sales associate) ran my name with my husband's social security number. Which resulted in a denied application with Wells Fargo (which he never communicated to me). He then reran the same incorrect information without my knowledge with their second financing option Fortiva which changed our financing terms. His iPad kept dying and he was having trouble showing us documents. I had received an email from Wells Fargo so I thought all was good.

Two weeks later we are very pleased with our carpet but I get a bill in the mail from Fortiva with a financing term that I had no knowledge of. Since then, I have had to have another salesperson come to my home (causing me to take another day off work) to rerun our credit information correctly. We have been approved for the Wells Fargo card that we originally wanted but since then I have been unable to get the balance moved.

No one at Luna seems to have the authority to call Fortiva and have the balance reversed. I have spent the past four days on the phone with person after person who says I will receive a call back within 24 hours because they have "escalated" my case. 24 hours later, nothing. When I call back again I get the same song and dance. Long story long, use another company because while the product is good, you get buy quality carpet and have it installed by people and ALSO get good customer service with billing/finance. Will never use again or recommend.

Over the last 3 years we had a new roof, new sidings, a new AC, had a water-softener put in, had all 37 windows changed and about a year ago had a new vinyl floor put in on the 1st floor. The floor was the worst experience by far. Had the Sales guy in, reviewed everything and agreed on the floor type. Once the installers showed up they saw in minutes that the sub-floor was uneven, i.e. not the same height as we had some areas with carpet, a small patch with hardwood and some areas with plastic vinyl. While I would have expected an experienced Sales person to see that, he did not and we had to agree on the spot to throw in another $2k to even out the sub-floor.

The installation team was really messy. Once they were done I had cigarette butts in my yard, we had to pick up water bottles and soda cans all over the place. They did not clean anything and some air ducts were full of several inch long pieces of wood (only saw that as one cover was not on properly). not just saw dust. The pieces were that big that they would luckily not even go down the bend of the duct.

Then we saw that they had not put a trim under the entrance door. So I called and made an appointment for them to come and fix it. I was home, he never showed. He called me later that he could come next day same time. So I had to go home from work again. This time he showed, but even though I clearly said what the issue was, he did not have the right trim. So he had to come again a week later with the right trim, which means I had to go home from work again. I did not inspect it after he put it in as it was just a piece of trim, but when Mrs came home she immediately saw that it was not even nailed down. It was just cut to size and put in without attaching it. I could not be bothered to call again.

Now about a year later we have a weak spot right in the main walkway. It is very obvious that they messed up something on the new ($2k) sub-floor as there is about a 3x3 inch area where the vinyl planks are now caving in and starting to crack. Again had to call and have somebody to come and inspect it. He immediately saw that there clearly was an issue with the sub-floor and they would have to pick up the vinyl floor in that area and fix it.

Yesterday (a month after the inspection) finally had the appointment for them to come and fix it. So we cleared out that whole area and had to remove a mounted shelf to give them enough clearance to work. As we had no clear ETA I decided just work from home (which I am in a lucky position to do so). By 1 PM I called Luna asking them what is going on as nobody showed or called. The CS lady called the local office and then told me that they just need a few minutes to call me back and give me the time of arrival. The whole rest of the day no call and no show.... so called them again this morning. I have been given a new date.... in two weeks!!

Now I have to move everything back in place, as I am not living 2 weeks with stuff standing in the way, just to move it away again in 2 weeks. I was told that a Mgr. from the local branch office will call me to explain the no-show. Well, what a surprise the workday is getting to its end and so far no call. If I did not have to have that area fixed I would tell them to never contact me again. The amount of times I had to call, leave work early or stay whole days at home is ridiculous. I am dreading what else is going to happen in 2 weeks... Mrs. and I were discussing getting floor on the stairs and the whole 2nd floor redone... Well, it will not be with Luna.

We’re familiar with Luna Flooring's commercial, and so we called for an estimate. And we had another estimate from a different company, and Luna’s was much better. We had laminate installed in a big hallway and one bedroom. It looks like hardwood, but it isn’t. It’s cheaper. The installer worked really well and really fast. The installation was all done in one day. We’re happy with our flooring.

And I had a luxury vinyl installed in my bathroom. I also had indoor/outdoor carpeting installed in my pool area. I'm pleased with all three. My condo is on the market, and I've gotten lots of compliments.

Definitely will never do business with Luna. I had them out on Monday. Did sign up for some carpet and flooring after some other quotes. Found out how truly expensive they are and it's really funny because they started out at about 10 grand. All the way down to 6900. Just very slimy way of doing business and how pushy their sales and management team are after talking with the salesman regarding cancellation and how the whole attitude changed then when management called continually ask me the same question over and over again. Wouldn't listen to what I had to say so hung up on him and will dispute my deposit on my credit card after receiving a email back from the salesman and telling me how he didn't handle returns and I would have to call the guy that I hung up on. Don't do business with Luna. So glad I cancelled the order. Couldn't imagine if I had a problem after purchase how I would be treated.

Ordered carpet in December 2018. Luna was supposed to install carpet by December 31, 2018, however, the dispatcher sent the wrong color and measurements. Second day dispatcher sent wrong padding and still wrong amount of carpet. When I called the company customer service they asked me to do half of work and I said no. Third time they brought guess? Yesss, Wrong measurements. The mistake I made was to give them another opportunity. The installers came installed carpet. It is May 7 2019 and look how bad my carpet is looks. I called customer service. We waited all day. They came at 7 pm. The installer comes and tells me that the reason for us to step in nails was cause carpet was to thin.

We paid 6k for a supposed to be the best quality carpet and also carpet was unravel. I responded that his excuse was unacceptable. Also he asked me if I had a leftover piece for him patch my carpet. I told him I will call his supervisor. He left cause he said I had to call customer service if I wanted the affected area replace cause he had no saying. I called the company and they told me they can't make any decision because it was close for today. Luna can is expensive and are very fast to take our money but they are the worst in customer service and carpet installation. Don't do business with them.

We had a great experience with Luna Flooring. We didn't have any problems with the workers or their product. They have hard workers. We were going to go to Menards and get our own product because we did the kitchen when we moved here, but we didn't have anybody available to install it. We went with Luna Flooring and the installers are married, first of all, and they worked together. I never saw anything like it. They're outstanding. And they installed laminate in the living room in our home. They were very organized. They came in about 9:00, and they left after 4:00. But everything was cleaned up. Everything was fine. And he told us what was expected of us, and we stayed out of his way so he could just install it really quickly. They got good workmanship. I like that I can clean our new flooring up easily. I love Luna, my sister likes it, my neighbor likes it, and we’d recommend it.

Last fall we carpeted many areas with Luna and spent over $6000.... We were told to wait until the spring for flooring sale on luxury vinyl for the rest of our floors downstairs - which is a big area (kitchen, laundry room, sunroom/eating area, hallways, bathroom, dining room & office). We waited and yes they were honoring the sale. Same sales guy came out and really had pushed the luxury vinyl, which we did love. We went back and forth on the price a bit and finally agreed to have it installed.

On 4/16/2019 installers came about 9am, I verified the product and they finished by 7pm that night. Everything was going well. Then things turned from there. The installers broke the handle off my oven door, tried to glue it (which it fell off that night) and never told us. I called cust service at Luna and the following week they sent an inspector. He said gluing was not the best option, which he could try but not recommend. I agreed. The following Mon (now almost 2 weeks later) cust. service finally called and said I needed to get quotes to repair it since I wasn't willing to have it glued back on. Which I told them I never said, plus they scratched the handle so would need a new one. Note the oven is 19 years old.

So finally got ahold of Sears confirming the handle is no longer available and they told me what it probably would have cost to order a new one & repair it. Luna finally agreed to reimburse us that amount but now I am forced to go buy a new stove when mine worked perfectly fine due to the negligence & dishonesty of the installers. And not this was after much back & forth with Luna and they put it all on me to figure out what needed to be done.

The bigger and more upsetting issue is the flooring. After 2 days we had 3 planks buckling. The same guy that looked at the stove looked at the flooring. The sun was shining in and he took the temperature in that area and in a shady area. It was about 80-90 degrees & the shady area was in the 70's. Not a big difference. They told us after about a week of waiting that it was due to LONG TERM sun exposure from the high window and from EXTREME heat from the long term exposure. They would come & fix it but at OUR expense and we also would need to buy window coverings on this very high window or it would happen again.

They claim it has happened in so many homes that they install this flooring in. Do they expect people to live with their blinds closed 24-7?!?! So WHY would they sell it?!?! Our sales guy said no way, but now he no longer responds to me! I am mad I filled out their survey that came too quickly and I gave them good reviews. I wish I had it back!!

So it's such a scam.... They allow their sales team to sell a product in areas where it probably isn't the best suited (according to customer service) and then after 2 days of being installed it looks like crap. But they don't care that we just spent $9000. We will have to pay more to fix it, yet we don't believe the sun is what caused it. We think it's bad installation! By the way the installers marked up our baseboards horribly so they are not careful at all!

So now Luna has sent a claim to the manufacturer (which by the way is LUNA) and it'll take 30-60 days to get an answer. I guess they are seeing if it's faulty product. It's not faulty product, it's faulty installation. They left no room for expansion. They need to come and fix this at their cost, not ours. It was TWO days!!! If we do the 30 days love it or leave it, then we have to AGAIN pay for the installation. They don't break down their quote by the way, so who knows how much the product was and how much installation was. So they can get you there too and charge the reinstall at a very high price even though the replacement product is supposedly free!

We also have another plank with a weird mark on it that I had to set up another inspection for and so all this is now going on 3-4 weeks, with no end in sight. When nothing goes wrong then it's great... But when there is an issue, they have horrible customer service, people that lie to you, and they don't care at all about keeping happy customers. I have told everyone I know never to use them. And I will be posting this review on more sites! So not sure what will happen but it's been a nightmare so far on this very expensive flooring!

Getting carpet installed by Luna was one of the most unpleasant experiences in my life. If I could give 0 starts, I would. My carpet was supposed to be installed Thursday, 4/25/19, but when the installers arrived, they claimed they had the wrong size carpet roll. In broken English, one of them tried to explain to me it was too short. I was confused because the roll seemed like enough carpet--60 ft by 12 ft. My one-bedroom condo is 772 square feet. I wasn't carpeting the bathroom or the kitchen, so a roll that is 720 square feet seemed like enough. The installer claimed it was 8 feet too short because my living room/dining room is 20 feet long. He tried telling me this in a little English and pointing to things, so it was hard to understand.

I spent over an hour on the phone with multiple people trying to get this resolved. I took a day off of work, so I wanted Luna to fix it that day. They insisted they couldn't and that I'd need to reschedule. I asked what they would do for me to make up for the inconvenience of rescheduling. At first someone told me I could take care of changing the price AFTER the carpet was installed. Are you kidding me? Haggle after the work is done?? No way. I'm sure no one would have given me the time of day after installation.

Then this woman talked to someone and told me the best they could do was give me a $75 discount. $75 to take off another day of work??? Insulting. I pressed, and she insisted it was the best she could do. So I said I wanted to cancel. She transferred me to the office that would handle that. After waiting on hold for a bit, I got voicemail. I wasn't leaving a message. I'd done that before when I was just trying to get this scheduled, and no one ever called back. I wanted to talk to a real person!

I called back and explained what was going on. The lady I got told me she'd transfer me to the right person. After being on hold for 10 minutes, I hung up and tried again. That time I got transferred a few times and finally reached a sales manager who offered me a $250 discount for rescheduling to Friday, 4/26. I told him I needed to be at work in the afternoon--I was running a meeting at 1:00--and he assured me the installers would be here at 8 am.

Well, Friday morning at 7:15, I got an automated phone call from Luna saying my installation was scheduled for the afternoon. I pressed 0 to talk to a customer service rep. Neither he nor his manager were much help. They said they could see the note that the installation was supposed to be in the morning, so maybe the auto call was wrong. Yeah, or maybe the installation office ignored the note. I finally called a local sales manager who said he'd check and call back. After about 15 minutes of not hearing back from him, I called him again to see what was up. He said the installation office couldn't fit me in the morning. I explained this was unacceptable. He seemed insistent that he couldn't do anything, but said he'd call the installation office to get an ETA. I again told him this needed to be this morning. We got off the phone and a few minutes later installers called me to tell me they were on their way.

They arrived around 9:00. As they were doing the installation, I noticed they had to seam together separate pieces of carpet, so I did a little Googling on standard carpet roll sizes. Yeah, I think the installers who arrived on Thursday actually had enough carpet, they just didn't know how to seam pieces together. So, I was totally inconvenienced by Luna because they use installers who are not trained. The installers who did the installation on Friday did a nice job, but they didn't finish up until 1:00, so I didn't make it to work to run that meeting. I'm still trying to get it rescheduled, which is another inconvenience for me. If these installers had shown up on Thursday, I'd probably give Luna a satisfactory review. Instead, I'm telling everyone I know to never use Luna.

Luna - Never Use Them. I ordered to have new engineered hardwood floors put into the first floor of my house that included 3 bedrooms, 5 closets, a foyer, and a hallway. The day of installation, the installers show up and tell me that my floors have leveling issues and they need to pull up the existing floors, put in new subfloors, and charge me an additional $6,700. Without this additional costs, they could not do the install. I was not expecting this additional costs and didn't understand why they would not have someone come out prior to the install date to assess the floors to determine if there would be an install problem.

The resolve by the inside salesperson was to reduce the additional cost to $3,131. That doesn't help me when that was not in my budget. They refused to cancel the order and give me back my full deposit without having me incur a restocking fee of over $700. Then they tell me had I not given a deposit, I would not incur a restocking fee. This seems like a scam if you ask me. I will NEVER EVER recommend this company to anyone as they are not transparent and will try to force additional unplanned cost on the customer no matter what that expense is.

I liked how fast Luna Flooring could get the job done for me. I had them install carpet in my home. Their sales guy came and showed us some samples but then I had to know my stuff because the pricing was all hidden. I wasn’t given a complete rundown of what all of each individual costs were. The sales guy just told me the flat bottom line price to which I said that I didn't wanna pay that much. He was then able to knock $1500 off the price without even batting an eye. He quoted me at $4,000 for $2,500. If it was that price, he should have just given that to me up front.

However, I had already priced it out, so I had an idea of a pad, square footage-wise and what it’s like to do the math in my head to figure out whether it was a good deal or not. But for somebody who didn’t do that, they wouldn’t know. The sales guy never told us the square footage but I had already pre-measured it. Luna should give customers a breakdown because when they go to any other place to buy carpet, the salespeople there would tell you that their carpet is x-dollars a square foot, the padding is x-dollars a square foot and what the installation charge would be. They tell you the weight of the pad as well. Luna's sales guy told me the had to get the upgraded pad but then he just rated it by pounds. There was never any mention of the specs or the amount of pounds. They could be more transparent about what the customer is paying for.

The installers were awesome and did a better job installing Luna's carpet than when I had carpet put in my basement from Home Depot. They did a really nice job on the stairs and buttoned all the caps. They were on time and cleaned up as well. The quality of what they have installed is great. Going with Luna was much better for us overall.

We had several price quotes for replacement of our flooring. We had hardwood, tile and carpet. We came up with a priority list of 1-durable for our 3 large dogs. 2-similar to the existing wood (staircase, French doors, baseboards etc). And 3-value. We decided on Luna as our salesman was specific to say that the luxury vinyl we went with would, “never be scratched by our dogs”. This would be the primary issue of our displeasure. List of grievances:

1-The installers cracked our tile floor in the kitchen at the transition. I understand accidents happen but I was told I needed to find the tile, but it and they would replace. I told them they could use existing tile in mud room, under washer and dryer. Still have cracked tiles...
2-Noticed scratches within the first couple days and contacted Luna to inspect.
3-Had 3 inspections and all said that there was no way the floor would hold up to our dogs.
4-After almost 12 months, still no resolution to our problem, even after we were given an option of hardwood at a discount (which we could sand and refinish when we move), then was told they wouldn’t do.
5-Only option we have on the table is a laminate that does not match any colors in our house.

6-Poor customer service follow up (no calls, no response to emails and no solutions for their poor and misleading sales practices).

In recap, I would not recommend using Luna or Empire (their sister company) for any flooring needs. I wanted to try to get the issue resolved fairly and quickly, but after almost a year, I have lost all faith in this happening and will make it my mission to let as many people know their way of doing business.

For the basement, my flooring needed to be redone. I didn't wanna go completely gray because everything's gray nowadays. I picked one that had a nice mix of brown and gray. This coming week, I'm getting my basement done with the final plank flooring. The installation team was fantastic. They were prompt, they got the work done and they were very neat and clean. They were really nice and they did a really good job. Everything's been fine so far. Hopefully, the basement goes as smoothly and we'll be all set.

Luna's sales rep did a really great job explaining the product, and then her sales manager did a very good job of negotiating the price. And then, the thing that sealed the deal was the timeliness of the installation. The installers did a great job. When they first got here, they had me meet them at the truck and confirm it was my carpet. Once they were done, they showed me around, had me confirm everything. The carpet was installed in three or four hours at the most and it all went very smoothly. The gentlemen were very respectful. They moved the furniture and moved it back in when they were done. They had me go in and look at everything and they cleaned up nicely. We were looking for something very soft and that's what we got. It's very nice and comfortable. We got a neutral tone color which matched potential wall colors. I love it. It's fantastic.

I understand the dance Luna has to do when they're trying to get as much margin as they can. But when I shopped around, and then when I went back and told them, "Hey, I'm going with this other company" and they were able to drop their price as much as they did, and as quickly as they did, that was a little upsetting. To think that I was some patsy that was gonna overpay $1500 because I didn't shop around. But I understand that's the game. I had other companies who gave me quotes similar to what my initial quote was from Luna. But when I got the other offer for so much less, that was it. I've recommended Luna Flooring.

I had Luna Flooring install a carpet in the basement and upstairs in the master bedroom and hallway. The price was very good. I felt comfortable with the salesman, the price that they quoted which - was good for square-foot, and the timeframe in which they could do it. Perhaps they could could do online rather than have somebody come out to the house. I know that’s part of the customization, but just more options to quote and price online. But the installers did a great job. They were amazingly personable, professional and very helpful. That was the best part of the whole process. The project took 9 or 10 hours over two different days.

We've considered a few flooring companies and Luna's cost was a little more than the others but close. We had laminate flooring in most of the house, picked up the carpeting, and we had tile on the dining area and the walk-in closet. The job was really good and the only problem I have is they were supposed to put oak quarter round around the dining area and the walk-in closet but they put a gray quarter round there instead. It’s in the contract that they were gonna put oak quarter round and that was supposed to be around the whole house. The part that they put it on looks great but the part where they put the gray looks like a real eyesore. It really ripped the look of the house. I called them last week but I haven’t heard from anybody since then. They don’t seem too anxious to resolve it. So, I’m dissatisfied at this point and I’ll be very dissatisfied if they leave it be.

We needed it for a flight of stairs so we didn’t need to go with the highest grade. We went somewhere in the middle and the pricing was affordable for the area that we needed it done. Previously, I used Luna's services for carpeting in my great room. I decided that when that wore out that I wanted to go with a hard surface instead. I have a friend at work who did her floor through Luna and she recommended Luna. I was looking for a flooring company and with the other places, I would just get the product and then I would have to install it myself. With Luna, they were fair the last time I got them for carpet. When I decided to go back to them, they were running a special wherein I would pay for the product for 1 room and I would pay $50 for each additional room. Since I was doing the majority of the house, it was a good time to go with Luna.

I went with plusher carpeting and a better pad underneath. When I stepped on what was installed, it is springy. It's nice and soft and I like it a lot. I was so amazed at the installation of the carpet as the two bedrooms took about two hours to do. I was also very happy with my choice of laminate over hardwood. They had the laminate done in one day and it looks really good. Overall, Luna did a fantastic job and I wouldn't hesitate to use their services again.

Luna Flooring has good reputation and price so we got the oak floors from them. We liked the look and the durability, and we had it installed in our four rooms and the stairs. The installation took three days and it went very smoothly. They were here on time, always very promptly and they worked extremely hard although we have large rooms and quite the challenge was the stairs in the landing. The first two days there were three people and the last day, there were two people and they did the stairs. I love the way the floor looks and everything was done with the minimum amount of fuss and inconvenience to us, considering the amount of space that had to be uprooted. And I have very elderly people in the house as well as a child. One of the days, it was raining all day and even with that, there was minimum amount of dirt. I cannot compliment them enough on their work.

However, the sales guy was way too eager to sell. He did not go through the things that he should have gone through with me more in-depth when the installers came in. When he came in, we were already sold. We already made a decision. So, he should've warned us about some things, but he didn't. For example, he said that the wood could be installed the same day, which was not the case at all. The wood had to sit here for a week till it acclimatized, which was a big thing because we ran around like mad people, clearing out the drawers and the cabinets and moving breakables, which didn't have to happen because we had a whole week to do it. So, he needn't have had to make things sound better than they had to in order to do the sale. That was not necessary. Because the reality of installing brand-new floors in the house where you live in such a huge area is a big upheaval and there is no escaping that.

I had Luna Flooring install vinyl flooring in our home. I only did one room because I wanted to do the basement, but the basement was too expensive to include on that installation. I considered several brands before but I chose Luna because of the commercial that I saw on TV. They were advertised at $99 for an additional room but when their rep gave me the quote, it was almost $13,000 which was ridiculous. But I wanted the product that she showed me. It was the color and the texture that I wanted for my flooring, and I went ahead and got it installed.

I was looking for something that looked like real wood. I wasn’t particularly interested in laminate flooring because there’s an additional charge for the layer that you have to put down before the laminate floor goes down and I only had a budget of $10,000. The rep showed me carpets at first, which I told her I was not interested because that was the reason why I wanted floors. I have dogs and dogs have accidents on carpet, and it’s hard to find the accident right away until you start smelling it. And I just don’t like carpets. I did keep the carpet in my room until I could save up enough money and get that replaced as well with the same type of wood or laminate flooring.

But when I looked at the samples, it was the color that I was looking for. It was more of a rustic color, which I told the salesperson on the phone to have the person that comes over to bring samples of a rustic-looking floor, like dark browns and livid grays, and it would go good with my furniture since my house is pretty much monotone. When she opened up the samples, I looked at it and I pointed at what I wanted. I actually thought it was wood. She said that it is a high-end vinyl. The texture feels like wood and I liked it. My dog doesn’t like it, so now he doesn’t wanna go into the living room.

The installation took two days. When the installer came in and was removing the carpet, he found some stains in the floors which was strange because I kept the dogs out of my living room for days and he happened to find two wet spots when they haven’t been in that room. He asked me to buy a paint primer and put it on the areas where he indicated and within two days, the floor was dry. The installation was supposed to be on a Monday and they wanted to postpone it into Saturday and I said no. I walk barefooted in my home and I cannot walk on this plywood sticking, pricking my feet. So, they sent the installer back out. Overall, the product that Luna brought me was within my budget and I’m happy right now with my floors. I love my floors.

Initially, I was going to do the whole flooring job myself but once I figured out the material and the warranty, I figured that it might be worthwhile paying the extra money to go with Luna. I was told not to do laminate because the water will pull up wood later on. Also, some things are going to take some wear and tear. I figured I'd go with vinyl, considering the thickness. I had it installed in the kitchen and in the dining room, and that was fine. The problem was that I found out after the fact that there was a defect. They had put underlayment down in the dining room and I don’t know if one spot wasn’t hacked down right but when you walked over it, you could feel it moving underneath. That aside, they did a beautiful job. So I don’t understand why those guys screwed up.

Then I was chasing after Luna Flooring for about a month. It was not easy to talk to somebody. But everything’s fine now. Someone came out and fixed it in about two hours. He had to pull the floor all up over in that area and check it all. He did a good job and I'm happy. The flooring has also very much so met our expectations and Luna's image is a little better. I guess they know enough to make the customer happy.

Updated on 03/19/2019: Update from last night's post*** Didn’t hear from Luna today either so I decided to call customer service for the last time before taking further action. I was finally able to get into contact with the supervisor James who was the original person who gave me the deal. When I questioned him regarding getting my entire refund James placed me on hold and returned two min later and told me "per Ernesto in cancellation Dept, my refund will be mailed on March 22nd." I thanked James and told him I was sorry that we could not do business due to the several communication problems and I was no longer wanting carpet. I will give it a few days to receive the check if not I will go with further actions and more reviews. Prayerfully Ernesto and James are men of their words. Let’s see if they really resolve customer issues.

Original Review: I was hoping to give a great review after purchasing Luna carpeting. I have had the worst experience in my life with a company that is supposed to be giving you a service. I ordered carpeting for two rooms in my home. I gave a deposit and signed the contract. The very next day I contacted my salesperson, Tiffany to let her know that I was changing my mind and only wants it one room of carpet. She did not get back with me until the next day, day one of my contract. I asked her to find out pricing for the one room prior to coming out because it fit was ridiculously priced. I would need to cancel. Tiffany never got back with me so I called her on Tuesday which was the third day, last day that I had to cancel.

She still did not respond, so I called customer service. I explain to customer service my concern and that Day was my last day to cancel and she informed me that I had three business days which meant Wednesday would be the date that I could cancel. I told her I was waiting for an estimate for the one room of carpeting that I only desired at this time. She transferred me to the installation apartment. I spoke with Ernest who informed me that my price could only be cut in half for a very small 182 ft.² bedroom. During their conversation Ernest was very rude, interruptive, and would not allow me to speak at all. He refused to listen to the situation that I was trying to explain to him. He could not answer any questions regarding my pricing, but he was able to give me pricing?

He told me I need to reach out to my sales person because he had no details. Sounds like a sham to me. How can you give me pricing but you don’t know what square foot I have, or help how much you’re charging me per square foot? I told him I sure will cancel the installation and I want to cancel the carpeting. I then contacted Tiffany via text which I have still in my phone, and also I called her directly and left her a voicemail because of course she didn’t answer the phone. I then called customer service yet again who informed me that she would have someone to contact me because of my cancellation request. I don’t know or understand why someone has to continue to call me back when I simply want to cancel. Two days later Tiffany, my sales person finally contacted me via text calling herself telling me off because I cancel and change my mind again regarding getting carpet.

I have a very rude text message in my phone from her telling me I have the Audacity to change my mind considering the great deal that I was given and that they were “jumping through hoops” to please me. To put icing on the cake it is now the very next week and I still have not heard from anyone from customer service. So I called again tonight. The young lady, Alfred told me that she showed my order was canceled but that I would not be getting a refund because I failed to respond within the timeframe allowed to cancel. Really, are you kidding me! I am seeking resolution to this issue regarding my deposit. Please contact Me so that we can resolve this issue expeditiously.

I saw Luna’s commercial on TV and they had a good deal where you pay for one and you get the other floor for 50 bucks. I called them and the guy came out and gave me a good price. I was happy with it so I thought of going with them instead of calling other people. I was very busy and I didn’t have time to have people come to my house. However, Luna should have the salesman bring samples when they come to your house. Home Depot has wood samples. I don’t want them to have a book because you can't lay a book down on the floor. I was kinda ticked off about the guy. I was gonna buy a floor from them and he told me to go to Home Depot for samples. Nevertheless, it was a fair deal and I told them to put the floors in.

I had them install hardwood floors in my kitchen, family room, foyer, powder room and mudroom. The people who came for the installation was a Mexican crew and although they couldn’t speak English, they were extremely hard workers. They got there at 10 o’clock and didn’t leave until the job was done. They did a great job. However, I noticed the other day that there was a scratch in my floor. I wish I would've noticed it at the time they put it in. It was kinda dark and I didn’t notice it until the light hit it.

I liked Luna’s advertisement and I had them install laminate flooring in my den. The experience was great. I was notified ahead of time that they would come and I moved some things out. They left no debris. Within two hours they had moved what furniture is out and was putting in the new flooring. If I went in there and asked questions, they answered them. One of the questions was around the edging and he said to give the floor time because it contracts. If it doesn’t have room to contract, it will buckle which was why they put the edging down on the floor. They were very nice and when they first came in, they checked to make sure everything was paid for, and it was all good. I have no complaints.

I asked the installer about the $99 for the other room and he told me that it was not all-inclusive. I had another room in mind but I had a wall unit bedroom set, which the salesperson took a picture of and sent in. The installer said that he would charge me a price which would be about $100. However, because of their agreement with Luna, he couldn’t just do that. They have a contractual agreement with them. So, I was a little disappointed. I found nothing wrong with that but I wanted the other room to take advantage of the sale price and I could not. I wish they could do something about that. We had looked around for flooring brands, but Luna Flooring has good price and the quality of their products is very good. They could also do the job quickly. The installers were excellent. They installed hardwood flooring in the kitchen and family room, and carpet in the living room, bedrooms, hallway and rest of the house. When they left, it was clean. They also moved the furniture like they were supposed to. The new carpeting makes everything look new. So, everything went great.

The only problem I had was with the salesperson. I was not happy with him. He got there before I got home from work and he was so pushy. It was like he was rushed and we had to make an instant decision. It was very uncomfortable to where the point is I don’t know if I would recommend Luna to somebody just because of that fact. And the other thing that I wasn’t super happy about was it was like bait-and-switch. You see their advertisement for buy one room for a price and get the other rooms for whatever. But that’s never gonna happen because that ain’t the way it was set up to go anyway. So, it’s not the flooring that’s available.

My consultation with Luna went well. There wasn't a lot of selection especially for carpets in terms of color. There are only one or two colors in each grade of carpet that I could select from. For the hardwood floor however, we already had some hardwood throughout our home. Luna has the same one we have. I was very particular with what I wanted, so that worked out fine. We had them install the carpeting and hardwood in our home. They put the carpeting in a few weeks ago and I'm having them come to install some more today. This time, I'm doing more of a plush type.

I had Luna Flooring do my carpeting for the living room. The sales guy, Greg, was very helpful. But the carpet was scheduled to be put in on a Saturday, and I waited and waited and nobody showed up. So finally I picked the phone up and called, and during that conversation we came to find out they weren’t coming that Saturday. I was not contacted and my morning was shut. But it was scheduled the following week, during the week of which I took off of work. It worked out wonderfully.

The two gentlemen that showed up did a wonderful job. The only thing that bothered me about them was one of them didn’t understand and or speak English. They can't communicate with their customers even if it's small talk. It makes it a little uncomfortable, not only for me, but also for them. But that wasn’t a big deal. I like the color of the carpet and the fact that it was reasonably priced. However, I was supposed to have nylon and I hope they installed that and not the polyester. I have noticed on the steps that the carpet seems to be getting pushed down easily. But it is flexible. Vacuuming does wonders. I'm looking forward to having another salesperson in the next 6 months because I would also like to do the upstairs.

My sister recommended Luna to me and got them to do the re-carpeting for three bedrooms and the stairs. The representative was very knowledgeable about the product, and he brought in many samples. I picked the upgraded padding and carpeting, so I needed something that would be durable and comfortable at the same time, based on the level and protection of the padding, as well as the protection of the carpet. I see a little piece hanging out on the side on my stairs. I don't wanna cut it, so I'm gonna call Luna so they can have this person come back out and assess it. But the carpet has met my expectations so far.

The representative that comes out to sell the product need to be versed with what the installers have to go through. I was told by the sales rep to take everything off my dressers and any furniture that can move, because if anything falls over, they're not responsible for it, and that's fine. I understand that. But when the installers got here, that was not the process. You have to have everything out of the room. So, the installers acted like movers, and they had to take the beds apart and take the mattress off. Everything had to come out the room. That cut into their installing time, because they took a whole day. Luna needs to check the communication between the sales rep and the installers.

I have very, very large furniture, and the installers had specialized little pad things that go under each of the furniture which are moving, sliding the furniture. Everything had to come out of each room. So they would push stuff into another room, and then pushing it to another room, then pushing it to the bathroom and to the walk-in closet. They were improvising, and they got it done. I commend them, and I tipped them very well. I was very fortunate that that team that came was even willing to work with me because I had no one here to help me move this stuff out of the way. They did an exceptional job.

Overall, I would recommend Luna Flooring. But I would caution people from inception to maturation that you need to know and get verification from whoever the representative is in regards to what needs to be moved. Because based on my experience, it almost caused mission failure, and I almost didn't get my carpet put in until I had to hire somebody else and move all that stuff around.

We’ve done carpet with Luna a couple of years ago and now we had luxury vinyl floors put in a combo kitchen and the hallway. The salesperson who came out was fabulous, made sure that we got a great deal, and worked within our budget. Our installer was fantastic too. He was very courteous, respectful, and really quick. He was a really nice man. Then, I was supposed to have a balance due at time of delivery. For some odd reason, paperwork got messed up, and it showed no money was due. And because that was what showed, the installer wouldn’t take money. I’ve been trying for over a month and a half now to get them that money but they will not send me a statement. I owe them $1,000 and it’s like they don’t wanna collect it.

Luna has called me 3 times and at first, I told them that I need them to send me a statement which they can mail to me. I wanted to see the statement since they were supposed to give us another discount because they wound up not picking up our old floor. After the second call, I asked them to just email me the statement and when I see it then there would be no problem as I would pay them online. I would also pay it right then over the phone if they would just give me the statement. They said they would get that emailed right out to me but it never came. Other than that, the flooring is standing up perfectly to my expectations and I can’t wait to get the rest of the house done.

When I finally picked a sample, Carl pulled it up on his little computer, and they didn’t have it. Then the process started all over again. I didn’t think I was too difficult in picking a color. I didn’t want a vibrant red or anything like that. I wanted a mushroom color. So, I was a little disappointed in the samples because he only had a couple. But that was okay. Maybe if they did a little more intake information, they would have some clue as to what samples to bring people.

But Carl was very accommodating and would go back and get some more. We talked about what I wanted, and finally settled on a carpet that I like, and he quoted me a price. The quote was more than I expected it to be and he asked me what I was looking at. And so, I gave him my range. He went away for about five minutes or so, and he came back, and he said a price that was the very top number that I had suggested to him. Carl also came when he was supposed to.

The installation team were very professional and courteous. They had the supplies that they needed and they were in and out. They showed me where they had to have to seam it and that you could not even detect it. And the whole experience was great. They showed up when they were supposed to. We had Empire install carpet about 8 years ago and the experience was so positive, we decided to go with Luna for tile flooring. The sales rep was fantastic. He suspected we had asbestos tile currently downstairs and he nailed it because once the guys arrived to put in the tile, they noticed immediately that it was asbestos. So once we had the asbestos dealt with, we contacted Luna to reschedule the new flooring. This took 2 weeks, while we lived with all our crap piled in two rooms upstairs. I had to threaten to cancel the order if we couldn’t schedule it ASAP. So finally we are on the schedule. This is a HUGE job. Over 800 square feet that had to be tiled, grouted and sealed.

They send out 2 guys. TWO GUYS for this huge project. We had to take off 4 days of work! Now that they’re done, it’s not to my satisfaction. They haven’t sealed it yet, after 4 days of work, and some of it has to be regrouted because it’s so sloppy. They didn’t cover anything — not even the air intake — so since they did all the tile cutting there on the spot, now we have a thick dust throughout the house, upstairs and down. The items left downstairs was not covered, including a large tv. Hope it still works. The job still isn’t done but so far, I’m not happy with the work. They may be great at carpet and wood floors but go someplace else if you are having a large area tiled.

The customer service for this company is terrible. I've had my appointments canceled twice by them. One was due to weather (which is understandable). But the second I was told is due to a vehicle issue. Now I've been waiting for carpet for one room only for almost two weeks now. I have furniture piled up in my dining room and living room for the installation. I am scheduling other repairs in these rooms as well which require me to change every time my carpet installation is changed. I am losing wages every time I take off for an installation as well. I've spoken to 3 different people today about this and wanted to reschedule and receive a discount because of the inconvenience this is causing us. Being told I would receive only $50 is unacceptable but I'm not going to argue with another customer service rep over the phone because it makes no difference to them. It's not their problem!!! So I'll do that here.

From the first cancellation to the second, it has been handled badly with no regard to what the customer is dealing with. And with everything involved as far as lost wages, furniture removal and scheduling changes with work and Luna!! Had I been offered at least 25% discount, maybe I wouldn't be writing this bad review. But that's not the case today! I don't have a problem with the installers. But as far as the company goes, this experience is extremely disappointing to say the least. And the BBB will be notified as well. It's worth the $5-$10 I have to pay to put them on notice...

She said we had to sign a contract in order to get the estimate, but could cancel any time, even after the 3 days. I was clear that we were getting other estimates. We went with the estimate we got the following night, so I called Luna to cancel. I was transferred to a number after speaking with someone to finalize the cancellation. After a long wait, I was sent to a voicemail. I called back and was sent to Claire (sales manager) at the Northlake IL office. She argued with me about the cancellation and clearly did not want to cancel it.

She told me that we did not need to sign a contract to get the estimate, as we were told by Atlean, our sales rep. What a scam! BEWARE! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED! I just kept having to tell her I wanted it canceled. Finally after a long phone fight with Claire, I simply asked her if my contract was canceled, she said yes. I then asked if there was anything else I needed to do, she said no. I said goodbye, and hung up. I had zero confidence that Claire canceled, because she refused to send me confirmation of the cancellation in an email, so the next day, (day 3) I had my husband call to see if it was indeed canceled. He received numbers of cancellation. This entire thing was ridiculous!

He said we could cancel at any time and that he would price match and told us to get as many other estimates as possible. We got some more estimates and tried to contact salesman numerous times to get price match and more information on the carpet we picked. Salesman never returned calls so we called corporate and got transferred numerous times. We finally canceled by asking for a supervisor from customer service (after leaving numerous messages with the cancellation dept but they also never called us back) but they refused to send us an email confirming the cancellation. All around the worst customer service I have ever dealt with.

I would recommend Luna Flooring. We used them six and a half years ago when we bought our house. We had carpet put in. I had heard them advertised on TV. So, we were a repeat customer. This time, we had them put in some carpet in two large rooms and a stairwell. The saleswoman that came to the house was excellent, really informative, and really kept her time.

As far as customer service on the phone, I felt like I got tossed around. I had to postpone a couple times because we were doing a renovation and then a day of installation. The phone people, when I was trying to find out when the installers were gonna be here, were awful. I never got any direct answers. I felt like the people answering the phone were not as very well trained or know how to answer. I had to keep calling to find out when they were gonna install. Other than that, the installers were excellent when they got here. They got here around 1:30, and they left around 7:00 at night. I couldn't speak any higher of the two gentlemen that were here. They were very polite and they did a great job. Overall, Luna is an excellent company.

I wanted to compare Empire Today versus Luna, and I soon found out through the representative that Empire Today was affiliated with Luna. So, I decided to go with it. They had fair prices and they had the exact flooring that I was looking for. I had the flooring installed in five rooms in our home. It was able to go in bathrooms and kitchen where there is a lot of water. I liked that it had the hardwood look, but it was durable enough. I liked that it was pet-friendly, too. I have a dog and a cat, so scratching was a concern for me. They really offered the desired look that I was going for. I liked the gray, kinda slatey, wood look that would match my house perfectly.

Luna's salesperson wasn’t pushy. He wasn’t like a typical sleazy, “Buy my product and try to make commission and money off of you” vibe. H wasn't like the really creepy salesman. I really liked that. Our interaction was really straightforward. He was very informative, but he was also very laid-back. If we had a question, he answered it fully and to the best of his knowledge, and he never pushed us in a certain way. He gave us time to talk, think, and go over options. And when we wanted more options, he was more than adequate to display that for us. So, I had a very good experience with him.

Our flooring is very good. I’ve gotten a lot of compliments, and I’m very happy with it. Considering what I had before, it’s night and day. And I hope that the new flooring is feasible for the next owners. That was one reason why we wanted to put new flooring in. We were thinking about moving. I think that it has enough quality to be very pleasing for the next person.

But Luna could get it done right away so we got them to do the carpet in the living room, dining room, and a hallway. The installers were fantastic. Two guys came in and started working. They knew exactly what the other guy was going to do, so they were in and out fairly quickly. It was just unbelievable how efficient they were between the two of them. I've never seen two guys like that working together that did good. Compared to my old carpet, Luna put a larger padding in it, and it's a lot softer, walking on it. Also, it has stain resistance. We got a fair number of pets, so we were looking for something that really would take the beating. Overall, it was a very good experience.

So disappointed. Be aware that the salespeople who come into your homes have no idea how to thoroughly check your floors for installation issues, at least the one who came to our home in NW Indiana didn't. They are looking for the sale. Plus he told us he could smell mold in our carpets, which was untrue and nothing was glued down. Also be aware that Empire bought Luna, so they are the same company operating separately. We read bad reviews and should have taken the advise of other consumers, but we didn't.

We loved what we selected and the price seemed reasonable. But when you have installers come out twice and tell you that your floors aren't level enough to install the top grade flooring you selected and that you need a carpenter to come out and level the joists in your home, how frustrating! I have called the salesperson and the customer service dept for resolution, no one is returning the phone calls. It's just so disappointing when you think they know what they are doing, not to mention when the carpet people don't show up on day 2 because the carpet you selected is no longer available. Apparently the salesperson is driving around with old samples. We will not be buying anything from Luna or Empire.

After getting a quote from Empire, we decided to get one from Luna. The salesman from Luna originally quoted me several hundred dollars more than Empire. Luna has a 110% price match guarantee, which the Luna salesman informed me of. He agreed to beat Empires price by $150. Sounds great, right? Not so fast... The catch was I had to commit and put a deposit down on the spot. If I didn’t, the price wouldn’t be good as soon as he left my home. What?? Do you have a price match policy or not? It shouldn’t matter if I decide now or in a day. I was pretty sure I wanted to go with his quote, but my husband was running late and couldn’t be home for the quote, so I wanted to talk to him about it after he got home. The salesman copped an attitude and left in a hurry without leaving me any info about the quote or his card!

I called Luna and told them what happened. The supervisor was shocked at this salesman’s unprofessional behavior and told me they would be honoring the price he gave me for the price match. He scheduled a different salesman to come out a few days later to close the deal. In the meantime, I had Home Depot come out for an estimate as well. Their price was a bit higher than Empire, so I decided to wait for the next Luna appointment.

A few days later, the second Luna salesman comes in. He walks around and takes measurements like the three previous estimates. I explained the situation of the price match, which he was not aware of. After being in my house for about two hours, constantly in and out on the phone, he tells me he cannot give me the price match price that the first Luna salesman quoted me. In fact, he quoted me hundreds of dollars more than the first Luna salesman and Empire! When I asked why, he tripped all of his words and finally came up with excuse that the previous salesmen must have measured wrong. (The second Luna salesman was at 170 square yards.)

So I pulled out the two previous quotes to compare. Both were at 171 square yards. I asked him how he was hundreds of dollars more when he had our carpet at one square yard less than the other estimates. He literally had no answer! He told me to call Luna and ask them! After he left I did just that. I asked for a supervisor to call me back because they were not available to speak to me at that moment. No call back as of yet. I am blown away by this company’s unprofessionalism. I would leave zero stars if I could.

I was pleased with Luna Flooring. The whole thing was great. When the Luna estimator came, she had the same tools that the other team did as far as the little sketch pad that measured the room but she was able to show samples, price it out right on the spot and then schedule the install within an hour, which was awesome. All the paperwork was brought to us too. It was nice and I was surprised at how quickly that went. Having the samples in the light of the house was super nice too. It was very beneficial. The lady from Luna was much more helpful in planning the thing and that made it easy to go with her instead of the other guys that came out.

With Home Depot, the guy came out and just measured. He told me that he would send it back to Home Depot then they would get back to me in a few days. He had no samples and he had no idea about timelines, people who would install it or cost. It was a mess. So I loved the fact that with Luna, it was all in one. It was really convenient. Also, I initially thought that I was gonna have the cheapest go at it with Home Depot. But the Luna lady was able to find some stuff that hadn’t been used in a warehouse and was able to give a good discount which was really nice. It was a medium-sized project and I got carpet and a little tile entry for the basement area. And it's great. For the price, the product was nicer than the stuff that I would get at Home Depot. I had a flat cream in there before and this one is softer. The color is a lot nicer too. It's much better than the builder's gray carpet that I had initially which is awesome.

In October of 2017, I had Luna install laminate flooring in the first floor of my home. That included the living room, dining room, kitchen, hallway, 2 closets and master bedroom. The salesman was fantastic and very helpful. The installers were also very professional and completed the project in one day when I was told it would be 2 days. I was very grateful for this. I noticed almost immediately, where the hardwood panels meet, they were lifted slightly in some areas.

When Luna called me for feedback, I notified them of this concern but I said it was fine due to it only being a couple of areas. I also notified them that one of the closets weren’t completed, which they referred me to the contract and it clearly didn’t show it so I took the responsibility. Overall I was very satisfied. However, as the year has progressed, about 90% of my laminate wood flooring is lifted where the panels meet. It’s lifted in every room where the flooring was Installed, including under the furniture. So I decided to make a claim on the flooring as I paid a lot of money for these floors.

I called them at the end of November and set up for an inspection the following Tuesday. I was told I would receive a call the day before or morning of to confirm the time they would be arriving. I didn’t receive anything, no one came. I called the next day and notified them of this, which we set up another appointment for the next Tuesday. That following Tuesday morning the inspector came, who was actually the same person who installed the floors, and was literally in my home for 2 minutes. He walked through the living room into the kitchen, measured one spot of the flooring, and said we would receive a call with the report the next morning. We never received they call so I called Thursday and was told I would receive a call back later that day or Friday.

Long story short, that back and forth has lasted about 2 weeks and I finally got a hold of my case manager today. She notified me that the floors were 19% water damaged and it wasn’t covered under my warranty. I voiced my concern that it was the installer who did the inspection and I believed we had an integrity issue because in my opinion, over 90% of the flooring is damaged. I also voiced my concern that he didn’t check all the flooring as he went to the most obvious spot and was in my home for 2 minutes at most. She agreed and now I have another appointment set up for January 12th. I find this very frustrating as the floors are not water damaged and why they sent the installer to complete the inspection.

More importantly, why is the process of completing a claim taking almost 2 months when the installation process took a week all said and done, from meeting with the salesman and the installers completing their work. Mind you, all I wanted was new flooring and I hate having to complain. I’m only 24 and work very hard to earn a good living and have a nice lifestyle.

It’s very frustrating when you feel you wasted literally thousands on something. Yes, I also know my credibility in the matter is questioned due to me telling them in the beginning the errors were okay. I learned and in the future will be sure to have things taken care of ASAP. Something I also learned is to NEVER use major companies, such as Luna, to complete renovations as they’re more focused on cashing checks than taking care of customers. I say this due to them taking almost 2 months to process a claim when they were in such a hurry to get the flooring installed to get that check.

I had Luna Flooring install the carpet right before Thanksgiving in the great room, the living room, the dining room, the two staircases and a lower hallway. At the time, they were having a sale and I wanted to take advantage of that. The gentleman who came out acted like he was hurried, and I asked him if he had some place to go. He said sorry and that he was going a little bit faster than he should. He slowed down, we talked and I got the color and the carpet that I wanted. The installers were very professional and efficient in installing the carpet, moving the furniture and putting it back where it needed to go. When I ordered the carpeting padding for the lower hallway after that, I didn't know about the basement so I had to wait a couple of days for them to get the other correct padding for the lower hallway. They came back and did it. They took care of it very quickly and I'm happy with it.

The carpet is holding up very well except for one area and the reps are coming Thursday to check it. The way they put the carpet where you come out of the kitchen into the great room, it looks like the threads are starting to pop up on the seam but it’s not the carpet. When the carpeting was in here before, they didn’t have a seam there. They installed it in the opposite direction so the seam was not in an area that was heavily travelled such as this one. This time, when they put it in, they started on a back wall and went towards the front of the house. I haven't had to put any carpeting in for a long time because the carpeting that was in here was when they built the house. The cost was around the same amount that a couple of installers said that they would charge to install the carpeting and I would have to buy it. I paid the same amount for the carpeting and the installation. So, I saved a lot.

They were standard colors, but there could have been more. The guys who did the luxury vinyl did a great job. But I was not as thrilled with the guys who did the carpet. The gentleman that came in rushed through the walk-through. And when I found an area that I wasn’t happy with, he was refusing to fix it until I insisted. There was a step-up into the bedroom and the excess carpet was covering the curve of the step. Everybody was installing and I was in the sunroom kind of looking through a window just so I would be out of the way, but I could see that the carpet where it’s supposed to be tucked under that lift was hanging. I put my hand under there and I could feel where it wasn’t stapled. Half of it was stapled and the other half wasn’t.

I just thought they’d fix it but the guy said they couldn’t do it because he couldn’t get the staple gun under it. I asked how was it that he got it under half and not the other half. Still, he said he couldn't do it. I told them I was not happy and I expected them to finish it. And then he spoke to another guy, and the guy came over with the gun and he stapled it. They went on their way, but he was very arrogant at that point and I didn’t think I was being discourteous asking him to fix the area. Also afterwards, when I was looking at my furniture, I can see there were scratch marks on a lot of the stuff. The walls had marks on it. Other than that, the gentlemen who did the vinyl floor were courteous, helpful and offered suggestions. It was like night and day difference.

But I told the Luna representative that nothing was damaged before the installation. The furniture was damaged afterwards. Other than that, I’m really happy with everything.

Luna Flooring did a room for me on the fourth floor, and I was really pleased with it. I liked it, so I also had them install laminate flooring in two bedrooms and a hall in the third floor. But when they left the last time, I didn’t know that they had broken my clock that was downstairs. Nobody said anything. A young lady called me in regards to what rating I would give them, and I told her about the clock. She told me to not to worry about it and that Luna would take care of it. But I haven't heard anything else about it. Other than that, I was very satisfied. They were very good, and I would recommend them.

When I was considering BBK Floors and some other private carpet places, I was also considering a carpeting place that my brother told me about. However, I went with Luna because I had them lay carpet five years ago and I liked what I had. I had a lot of problems with it but they were gracious. They came out and stretched the carpeting a couple times a year. It went on but they never once told me they wouldn't come and do it. We knew there was a problem when the carpet was laid. It didn't adhere to the tack board and I ended up having a flood in my house this summer. That equated to the padding being destroyed underneath the carpeting and the tack board was all damaged with the water. They were due to come out to stretch the carpet once again through the upstairs and I decided to have Luna come out to tell me what they could do to put the carpeting down.

There was a special deal that Luna offered. The guy said they can change the carpeting both upstairs and downstairs, and that they would give me a fair price. With that, we got the bathroom floor done too. It was very small and they didn't take the cabinet out. They ended up just replacing the tile that was in the bathroom and I paid for that the day before. So, I felt comfortable because since they were gracious to do the carpeting over and over and over from when I had them five years ago. The guy told me that he would give me the best quality carpet. I told him that I wanted the best padding. I've had five homes and as well as in this house, I've done a lot of carpeting.

When the installer came and shared with me his samples, he brought in the provisional. He then told me that I was getting the five-star carpeting and the best padding. I explained to him that we were going forward with the carpeting because I had to pull up all the padding because of the damage. When I pulled up the carpeting, and I saw that the problems were there, I was supposed to get the insurance company back and tell them because they were gonna pay for the carpeting. Unfortunately, the episodes that happened when the carpet people came here was a nightmare. I told 22 people at Luna what happened with that experience and I was very disappointed.

I was supposed to get five-star top-of-the-line carpeting and top-of-the-line padding but this is not how it went down. More importantly, I've never experienced people that I hired to come in to do a job, scream at me and threaten to leave me because he didn't want to take up the tack board that was supposed to be taken up. The helper wasn't even gonna take the padding up out of the closet.

When I told him that I thought he was going to take up the tack board, he screamed at me and said he was not taking it up to put it back down. He was taking up the padding that was down on the floor but instead of making sure that everything was smooth, the crumbs and the residue was left on the floor. He was taking his foot and just trying to get it up. I didn't want that left on my floor because somewhere along the line, that will be another problem and then, I told him once again about the tack board up there. When I saw that the helper wasn't gonna take the padding out of the closet, I told them we would not be doing that and that I paid for it and told them the way it had to be done. I went back downstairs and when I went to go back upstairs to see what job they were doing, they blocked the steps off. I couldn't get up there.

He went there doing the steps leading down to the entry level. I noticed right away that the padding was not correct and there were some pieces that didn't fit. They were cutting the padding into pieces and was stapling them down. They also didn't cover the padding over the tack board. It was all exposed. I got pictures of it and it was awful. The man screamed at me two more times verbally and threatened me after my furniture was all piled up like junk. They said they would leave. I was here by myself and I had to think quickly. I told them I was going to let Luna know about it and that it was totally unacceptable. It went on from there and he cut in pieces my entry level as you're coming. Then, they cut the piece in the living room to make that all one piece and cut another piece in the living room. I have never seen anything like it.

When they were doing the steps going down the basement, they pulled up some of the tack board and I asked if they were gonna replace the tack board and he didn't. They just resumed to do the same and the carpet was laid on the steps in the same way they laid the padding. It was one step at a time. On top of everything else, the man told me my furniture was too heavy and that I had too much furniture and it was quarter to 5:00. He told me to open the sliding door since he was putting my furniture out on my deck in my yard. It was wet, dark and damp. I told him no. I got the manager to come in here tomorrow. People know about this and I'm waiting to see what Luna's gonna do about it.

One of my friends' mom used Luna and she said it was reasonably priced. I then called Luna Flooring and went with them. They called several times and the customer service was really great. The rep said it was a lifetime warranty as long as you own the house. I had them install laminate floors in my living room, dining room and a downstairs bedroom. The guys came, introduced themselves, told me what they would be doing and they went for it. I love my floors. They met my expectations, above and beyond. I would refer Luna Flooring.

Salesman was in such a hurry to make the sale. Carpet looks cheap and not at all what I was expecting for the price I paid. Very disappointed??? Specifically told him I wanted something nice. Not happy at all. Installers were very nice, efficient and fast.

Luna's name has been stuck in my head from when I was a child so they were the first thing I thought of when I wanted my carpets done. The rep was very nice and smart. One could tell he was good at his job and he wasn't pushy. Also, the two guys who installed the carpet were very nice.

Ok so I'm going to make a long story short. I had my laminate floors laid and within the week I found a peel in the floor. I called Luna. I got a ticket number no call back. I called again same thing got another ticket # no call back. On the 3rd time I lost my mind when they wanted to give me another ticket #. Well they sent an inspector here and he said it was the installation and it would have to be redone. Well guess what I haven't heard from anyone. I have left messages and no will return my calls. PLEASE DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY OR TIME WITH LUNA.

Recently moved into a townhouse and chose Luna Flooring to replace the upstairs carpet with hardwood flooring for a really good deal. The installation and process was perfect. For this reason I went again with Luna to replace the flooring of a half bath with Ceramics. Luna sent a salesperson for a quote quickly and installation was scheduled the following week, much like the first time. However the experience this time was far from great. The morning of the scheduled installation Luna called to inform me the installers decided not to show up and so rescheduled a few days later. When the installers did come, they pointed out the order only contained the Ceramics and grout and that’s it. No molding and no transition step as the sales person (who was apparently a training manager at Luna who does sales from time to time) promised.

The installers did have some extra molding in the truck and installed for me. However no transition step which just looks awkward. Nothing separates the hardwood in the living rook from that of the Ceramics in the bathroom. Tried to call this sales person (who wrote down his info on the back of a random card. No business card provided) and his voicemail box is always full. Emailed the address he provided and got bounce back stating the address did not exist. Called Luna's customer service almost everyday just to be told this other person named “Melissa” responsible for my market should have called me back within 1-3 business days. They even supposedly opened a complaint ticket on my behalf regarding this issue and still no call back. Very poor customer service.

Luna Flooring's service was great. The salesperson was wonderful and very helpful. His name was Mike and I really liked him. But right before Luna came, I had Empire Carpet come and I had a horrible experience with them. Because I wouldn’t guarantee that I was gonna buy something from the guy that day, he literally came and left. I would never ever try or use them again. But Luna was wonderful and I have been recommending them to everyone. I loved them. Also, their price couldn’t be beat. They had some carpets I wanted that were on sale. I had to get it.

The carpet was for a rental property so I was looking for something durable and I needed some neutral color. They happened to have the square footage in this certain carpet that was left over from another job and it was marked down so it worked out wonderfully. Then for the installation, I let the guys in and they did their thing then I came back after a few hours. The new flooring looks wonderful and they did a great job. I had a wonderful experience with Luna.

Luna Flooring put in the flooring for my kitchen and living room a couple of years ago. They did such a great job, so I called them when I needed carpeting for my two stairways. The salesman that came out was very efficient. He knew exactly what I was looking for and showed me the colors, and multiple different carpets and padding. I picked out the one I wanted, he wrote up the bill, and I had the carpeting within two weeks. It was supposed to be delivered that Saturday, but I had to postpone it due to work. The installers came the next Saturday morning. The two guys came in by 8:15, and they were out by noon. They were pretty efficient. They cleaned up and they did a really good job.

I had Empire up first, but then I switched over to Luna Flooring. Empire offered the same thing, but Luna's was $400 cheaper and their installation warranty was longer. I had laminate flooring in the kitchen and the installation team was very respectful and knowledgeable. They got there when they said they were gonna get there, and they were done when they said they were gonna be done. They said two days, and they were done that afternoon. Also, they were like two machines. They didn't even slow down. Our favorite feature of the floor is the distressed look and it has met my expectations very highly. I had a very pleasant experience and I would check with them in the future for my other needs. Check out Luna Flooring because they're good. Go for it.

Luna Flooring installed carpet on two staircases and the entire second floor of my home. I really liked the salesperson and the way she sold the company. She definitely knew her products and knew exactly what I was looking for. It was a well use of my time. I even ran into some financial difficulties and Luna Flooring cut the price a little. I like the carpet's color and feel. The installation crew that was here was very polite and thorough. They didn't have enough carpet to do the stairs because they were told one thing, and the stairs had a landing which wasn't accounted for in the carpet cuts, but they came back two days later and did an excellent job. They knew what they were doing. I have recommended Luna Flooring to friends and family.
