    Our new carpeting is beautiful. Luna Flooring installed wall-to-wall carpeting in our living room and the dining room, and it met my expectations. I was satisfied with the salesman that initially came out and went over everything with me and showed me the samples. And price-wise, he worked with me. I looked at other brands before purchasing from Luna Flooring, they never came out. Luna was the first to respond to my needs and I was satisfied with them.

    Luna is by far the worst company that I have ever dealt with. They are absolutely horrible. Customer service stinks, trying to get anybody to return phone calls stinks. I was trying to sell my house and they showed up with not enough carpet so it had to be rescheduled and it took a week and a half before they could come back. The second time they showed up with not enough carpet again so we had to reschedule for a third time, meanwhile I couldn't put my house on the market. I was told I would get a $200 credit by a man named Ernesto in the installation department but I never received it and he refused to returned my messages and let me know what was going on with my $200 credit. Never did hear back from him or any supervisor for that matter. Do not buy anything from this company, ever! I'm going to be calling the Better Business Bureau.

    The Luna representative was honest and low pressure, but he came prepared to talk about what I was looking for. He showed me samples. The guy from the other company that we were considering didn't, and he told me that they can always come back if we decided to go with them. So we got Luna install carpeting in our living spaces and bedrooms. I love the carpet. I liked that I was able to get it done quickly, and I also liked the cost. My overall experience with Luna was good.

    I understand the whole concept of not wanting to give a time that the installers will be out, but that's tough for people around the holiday time. You have to be here in order for them to do the work. My installers ended up coming at 4:35, and they weren't done until just before 8:00. But they did an excellent job. The guy managed my expectations. Once he got in the door, he told me that given their start time, they will be done by 8, and then he asked me if I wanna do it. I couldn't take another day off from work, so I had no choice but to roll with it, and they were done at 7:45. But that was the problem for me. If they had even said, "Look, ma'am. You're not our first customer so, this is gonna be later in the day." I would have done something more productive in the morning. They didn't have to give me a 3:00 to 5:00 installation window, but they could have just said that I'm not in their morning appointment, but I'm in the afternoon appointment.

    I learned a great experience dealing with Luna which will not happen to everyone, but it happened to me. I have read a few reviews some good, not so good and others are flawless in their experience with Luna. Not mine. I am still digesting my bad experience. The next time I would choose a small private company or a company who does not mind admitting their mistakes and allowing for some compensation even if it’s just an apology.

    One important issue about Luna is the installers have no contact with Luna Representatives once your deal is on the table. I would call when issues arrived with the installers. No one could contact them, excuses were made that they did not pick-up but we left a number was left with them. My installers were rude, insulting and unprofessional in manner. At one point one of the installer's behavior was like that of a hood-rate. Unbelievable! Communication was very poor. I asked myself, “Where do they get installers like this who represent them?” My laminate was laid with a few issues, but my carpeting never got delivered on the delivery date because Luna dropped the ball. The installation was rescheduled, but still never happened because the installers had a job in New Jersey and they call to say they would be 3 and half hours more.

    At this time its was 5:33 pm. 9 pm no one wants workers coming to their home. The job would not have taken any more than a couple of hours. Why Luna sent the installers to New Jersey First is beyond me. I told the installers it was too late for them to come to my home. The installer I quote said "Yea mama". Really? My experience with Luna was a very troubling one. I would not recommend them or use them again. As the man said in the movie TAKEN "Good luck".

    My experience with Luna Flooring was great. We wanted an update and we were on a time constraint. We just needed to get it done and we didn’t really have time to shop around. Luna Flooring was the first consultation we received and we went with them. I chose the laminate floors and carpeting in our basement. The installation was great. The two people that did the carpeting were here in and out really quick. And the person that did the laminate who was supposed to have a partner, worked by himself and was super-efficient. Although the laminate installation took two days, he respected our privacy and he was really nice. Everything stands out - the color and the way it looks against the walls. It’s just really nice.

    I saw Luna's commercial on TV one night and it sounded like a good deal. It was like buy one room, get one room free. The price was a lot more reasonable than some others I had seen. I took a chance and gave them a call. In about two days, a lady came out and she was very good and thorough. She showed me samples and gave me an estimate. I knew how much it was gonna cost me before she left. It was a good experience. I got laminate flooring installed in my dining room, my living room and my sunroom. It took about six hours and it went very well. I've had wood flooring in my home before and I like what I had installed. When I had moved here, I didn't like carpet everywhere and that was why I decided to go ahead and do it.

    PEOPLE GO SOMEWHERE ELSE TO GET YOUR FLOORS DONE, I order floors late 2016 and I've been having problems in less than a year. Today is November 16 2018 and nothing has been done yet. 3 inspector came out 2 said it was due to moisture and the other said it was bad flooring. Whatever the case may be it should have been covered under the warranty but they try to tell me that the flooring isn't water or moisture resistant, why would anyone purchase flooring that isn't resistant to water or moisture. I made sure I requested water and moisture resistant floors. Then they try to tell me my warranty for installation was only for 1 year and that it was a installation problem, but I know that it is a 2-year installation warranty.

    The moisture level was supposed to be checked prior to they laying the floors to make sure the customer wouldn't have future problems with the floors due to moisture, that was never done. Today I was told that my warranty doesn't cover water or moisture damage, then what does it cover. I have a warranty that covers me for several years but she can't tell what it cover, she just knows that it does cover water and moisture damage. What she didn't realize was I had already talk to someone weeks earlier and I was informed that was water and moisture resistant but not water and moisture proof.

    Customer Service and these managers are telling customers anything hoping they won't call back. Again terrible customer Service, voicemail boxes are always full. That way you can't leave a message and if you managed to leave one you will never get a callback. I had to call the Texas Corporate office just to have them make the Baltimore branch call me back. They tried to offer me $700 and call it a day or I could pay $500 to have them come and replace the floors, I asked them are they water and moisture proof and she said no, so why would I pay 500 more dollars to have the same floors put down just to have the same problem with the floors, again makes no sense; and if I didn't have a warranty why are you offering any anything.

    They are lying to people, not honoring their so-called warranties. I've read so many reports about people having the same problem also. I could go on and on about the problems I been having with this company but this is the short version. I will be suing them for a number of things including pain and suffering, and I'm going to report this to BBB. PEOPLE PLEASE DON'T USE LUNA OR EMPIRE. They are the same company. PLEEEASE DON'T DO IT.

    Installers did not show up - I took the day off... I called customer service and they wanted to reschedule me up for next week. I should not be penalized for their "no show"!! I had to call them about the no show - there was no communication during the day and none this evening. Fast to take your money but horrible customer service. (Call center was fine but they have no way to get in touch with the installer except via "email", which means NO response.)

    I was doing the flooring of the entire house and Luna had a discount. So that was the first name that came to mind and the sales rep catered towards my needs. Just make sure you know exactly what you do and exactly what you want. I have asthma so it was about quality and Luna's warranty really stood out. The only problem that I came into was the first installation people. It wasn't noted and they didn't have enough people to move furniture. But Luna called and we got everything scheduled for another day once enough product came in. And the next crew that they sent out really took care of us. This was a three-story home and there were two people. They moved the furniture and put the carpet down there themselves. It was an all-day job. It took about eight hours. All was great and it was a wonderful experience. I enjoyed it. I'm very comfortable with the carpet too. The pattern is really good and the color is good.

    Everything with Luna Flooring went well. I liked that I could get my flooring installed quicker and within a day versus with a contractor in which I was gonna have to wait, and it would have been longer. Their cost was fair and they were running neck and neck with other companies. Luna was on time for installation, and that was good. I was happy with the hardwood as well as the carpeting. The hardwood livened up my entire house. I feel like I'm in a new home with it. I wish I had covered my living room furniture. I have a light-colored couch and they pushed it all aside. They had to get that cleaned. Other than that, Luna's communication was great and I was satisfied with the installation.

    We had a flooring company come out and examine it and they did some measurements. But I didn’t think they knew what they were doing because they said I had a hump in the floor that would have to be ground down before they would estimate it. I didn’t find any humps. I didn’t think they wanted the job and we looked at a couple other places that we didn’t have any representatives come to the house. We had neighbors that have had work done by Luna and they were very happy. Also, Luna came out very favorably in terms of cost and quality compared to the other brands. We decided to go with them.

    The reps knew what they were talking about and they explained everything including the different types of flooring we could consider. We had them install a vinyl plank flooring in the whole house three weeks ago. The two guys that came out to install it were great, very friendly, and informative. I asked so many questions and they were very happy to answer. Also, they were very careful and they moved heavy furniture and put things back. They did it on time and less time than they even told us it would take. The finished product is beautiful and we love it. We're very happy with the result.

    We have our hardwood floor installed this April, several places were bumped up severely. I contacted the customer service to request the repairs. Luna sent the contractors who installed our floor to our house for assessment, and the conclusion is water damage. We could not agree with this conclusion since there is no water resource at all for the places bumped up heavily. This was unacceptable! Luna then sent the advanced technician to come for further assessment. The technician tested the humidity and they concluded that it was due to inappropriate installation procedures for the plywood. I contacted Luna five times, each time they said they will call me back to give me a plan.

    Finally, they said they will send someone to repair on November 2, so we moved everything from the rooms, another contractor came and said it was due to the plywood not been installed correctly, he said he need to buy more plywood and floors and will come back on November 5. My husband and I got that day off from work and wait for them, nobody show up!!! I called Luna during the noon and was told it will be reschedule! But nobody called me to notify me!

    Today, the customer service called me and told me that the contractor came to our house last Friday implied that it was due to water damage, so they would charge me for the repairs. I was told that if the issue is due to installation, the original contractor will pay for it. Very disappointed about Luna's guarantee solution. I'm still waiting for Luna's final solution. Hope Luna could treated the customer fairly. Not only stands for the contractor. If it is could not be resolved, we will find other solution to make it.

    We had just moved in and had not planned on replacing carpet because ultimately, we wanna match the floors with the rest of the house. So when we were looking for new carpet, price was a big factor because it isn't gonna be down forever but only for a limited period of time. Luna's product was not quite as good as the one offered by Next Day Floors but the pricing was good and that made us go with them. Aside from the wall-to-wall carpeting, Luna also installed vinyl tile in a small area in front of the front door of our home.

    I scheduled to have the hard floor installed on Friday and the carpet was to be installed on Saturday. But Luna called me about the installation to verify that the process was switched where the carpet was gonna be installed on Friday. It was very disruptive. I work from home and the installers were here for about 12 hours. The two poor gentlemen worked really hard but they did a little bit of wall damage. When they moved my king size mattress, they totally ripped off the bedding, which was not old. They must have grabbed it pretty hard and it took me a little bit to figure it out.

    But they were very pleasant and they did the best they could. There was only two of them and it was a whole house full of furniture where they had to put carpet in the living room, three bedrooms, and hallway. It was a lot for them to do. If you're gonna get much of the whole house done, you really need more people to help you move the furniture and stuff. That was a long day for them and they were here until about 11 o'clock at night. I felt terrible but it was amazing. Also, the carpeting is not the best, but it certainly did its job. So, I was fairly happy with that besides the other issues.

    But the installation of the hard flooring got canceled three times. On the first Saturday they were supposed to show up, they called and said that they had car trouble so they said they couldn't make it to our location. The second Saturday, it was the same thing. But at least they called earlier so I could get other things done during the day and not have to wait for them all day just to be told that they weren't gonna get to me. When they finally came, they did a great job. So overall, I was satisfied but there were a few little bumps on the road.

    The brands of the different styles of flooring and the stuff Luna has caught our eyes. When we saw they had a sale, we contacted them immediately. The agent who assisted us was a big help. He worked with our price range and had a lot of knowledge on the products, the policies and the different programs. Two weeks ago, we had hardwood flooring installed in the front entrance, the living room and the main hallway of my house, and carpet flooring was installed in the bedroom. The flooring definitely met my expectations and through the housing process right now, wood is very popular and that's our favorite thing so far. I’ve recommended Luna to a couple of my friends and I raved about the agent and how the product was installed perfectly.

    On 10/19/2018 I met with a lovely Luna sales representative regarding installing wood flooring. The current promotion is buy 1 room and any additional room is $50. I ended up choosing solid hardwood flooring from Lakeshore. I was told the wood was Acacia and the style was Barrel. Total number of rooms was 4 (living room, dining room, stairs, and hallway). I was told by the representative that the price before discounts was a little over $10,000. However, with the discounts my price was $7,292.92. I skimmed over the contract and put $500 down (representative said I needed 10% but she cut me a break). After she left, I reviewed the contract thoroughly and noticed that there was not a detailed itemization of cost. All it had was the total contract amount minus my deposit.

    On 10/20/2018 I contacted Luna customer service to and requested a detailed itemization of costs including installation. The customer service representative stated he didn't think they would provide that information, but he would refer my request to another department. On 10/22/2018, I received a call from a Luna's Contract Service Team member. She stated she would see if the information could be provided. She sent me an email that said, "We have attached your contract as requested."

    Well it wasn't what I requested, it was the same contract I received on 10/19/2018. Needless to say, I canceled my contract. I find it very concerning that Luna doesn't provide a detailed contract specifying costs. I am not sure if this is fraud, but I believe it warrants additional research. I have attached a copy of the initial contract, and the contract sent on 10/22/2018, advertisement, and screenshots from Luna's reply email. Also, I am a returning customer. I purchased carpet last year for 2 rooms and earlier this year for 1 room. I never thoroughly reviewed those contracts, I just signed and paid.

    Don’t waste your hard earned money on Luna flooring. I have lifetime warranty which they don’t offer now. I called to fixed a transition strip (the metal strip that goes between where the carpet ends and floor begins). They first said labor warranty is only two years. I called few times then I was able to email the supervisor with my lifetime warranty copy. Now she said, "Oh since you touched it our warranty is over."

    In every transaction I've had with Luna, they've been good and they've followed up. The only ever issue I've ever had is that after the wooden floors were installed, I did some price shopping and I found out that it was on the expensive side. That install for the living room was 210 square feet and it came out as a little bit over $3,000. When I did a price comparison at Lowe's and Home Depot, I found out that I could have gotten it done for around $2,100. So there's quite a big difference. But I probably would have had to wait longer and that was my fault for not doing the price shopping. The wooden floors look good though. The carpet has always been really cheap too, and those had been done well also.

    Updated on 11/12/2018: I contacted Luna on October 23 and asked to have someone come take a look at the floor that was installed on June 9th of this year. It is coming up in places, Someone named Melissa left me a voicemail and I have been trying since then to contact her. I call at least every other day and am either disconnected or put into a voicemail where no one calls me back. I called again this morning, 11/12, was giving a voicemail. The initial person I speak with on the phone does not "handle" issues with flooring and has to transfer me - always. The company was quick to come look at what I wanted done, quick to install the floor but not at all willing to come back to look at the problems with the flooring. I'm wondering at this point what my options are? Maybe a call to the Better Business Bureau of the Baltimore Area is my next call. So disappointed. I wanted my floors to be great for the holidays!

    Original: How ironic, contacting Luna is on my list of things to do this week. Very disappointed with the quality of the flooring. There are several places where the flooring is lifting up from the other boards. I have other laminate flooring in my home and this has not happened. I was given a great price for the floor and I see why now, it is cheap flooring. The flooring has been installed since June, 4 months. My other floor has been down for almost 20 years.

    My wife and I are expecting in February of 2019 and wanted to get our floors redone prior the babies arrival. We were looking at a few options and due to having two dogs who are rough on floors we wanted a durable laminate that was easy to clean, looked nice, and held up to the wear and tear. Enter Luna. We had a gentleman by the name of Mike come to the house to show us some samples. The salesman was very nice and spent about an hour with us measuring and allowing us to discuss our options. We found a flooring we liked and decided to purchase the flooring, however, he stated to us that the stairs would be an extra $2,000 more due to having 6 pie shaped steps.

    The salesman for Luna, Mike, stated that we could purchase and have the 6 pie-shaped steps installed for around $400 additional and we could order more of the flooring to be delivered with the installation of our 1st and 2nd floor and we could either install it ourselves, as my father and I have done construction work prior, on the remaining 7 stairs or slip the workers a $100 and see if they would do it at that time. We were told the install would be a Friday and Saturday. My wife took off of work to be home as my job required me to be in training those days. What we were not told was she would be displaced all day with two dogs.

    Remember she is pregnant at the time at 20 wks and now has to find emergency arrangements for 2 dogs and herself for the day. They came on Friday and installed both upstairs and downstairs which I was very happy to have all done in one day, however. Upon inspection in our master bathroom the tile had been cracked and grout had been chipped out after placing the transition. The tile is now loose and I unfortunately do not have any spare tile to fix the issue. They also did not deliver the extra material for the stairs nor did they have the pie pieces necessary to even install those. In our kitchen we have a pantry which required them to notch the board around the wall into the pantry area. They originally cut it too short, installed it and then tried to cover it with quarter round.

    When they realized that the pantry would not open with the quarter round due to it being a folding door they removed the quarter round and left it; glue and everything exposed. Upon the crew's departure they had me signing a piece of paper saying that it was completed to my satisfaction. The problem was none of the workers spoke English for me to voice my concerns to. I wrote in the space provided that the job was not completed and the issues I had found. That Friday that they came to install the floor we, my wife and I, attempted to call Luna and speak with someone about the extra flooring, however we were placed on hold upwards of 45 mins to over an hour a few times and occasionally they never returned to answer the line.

    We had to call back multiple times. Approximately 8 calls were placed that day to Luna with no answers. We called all weekend and left messages as well. Monday came and no return phone call. Keep in mind it has been 10 phone calls now without a return phone call. Not even anything about when they would complete the job we PAID FOR! More days had gone by without a return phone call. Tuesday, silence, Wednesday, silence, and finally on Thursday of that week someone called back. Upon voicing our concerns and the issues we had we were told they needed to verify the claims and an email needed to be sent. Emails with photos were sent and we waited yet again for someone to contact us again.

    On Friday we received another phone call. This time they stated that we, "misunderstood" what the salesman said to us because, "we don't sell extra material and your floors wouldn't be under warranty if you installed them." When we explained that there was no misunderstanding of what was said to us we were told again it was a misunderstanding. When asked what they were going to do to rectify the situation they stated that they would install the stairs for free but would not fix the tile in the bathroom. When we stated that that was not good enough due to the tile being old and a different dye batch color we were told, "well you're aware of how much the stairs cost extra and we are giving those to you for free so."

    This is a response from a company that is supposed to install flooring and that is how they treat their customers. Absolutely horrendous customer service and I will NEVER have them install anything in my house again ever or recommend them to anyone for any type of home improvement. The worst part about it all is my wife is in Real Estate and looking to recommend a company for further business to their clients. Worst part about it all is we had to be displaced yet again while they were doing the stairs. I hope no one else ever has these issues with this company or their other company Empire.

    Luna Flooring gave me a better price for my kitchen floor tiles after I had contacted someone else. I used them and one concern I had during the installation was the fact that they have workers who do not speak English. One of the guys spoke English and he was outside but the other guy who was inside couldn’t answer my question and ignored me. He stepped out for a minute and I had to wait ‘til he came back to get my question answered. I don’t like that. I understand that labor is cheap but it bothers me that I’m not able to communicate. When somebody’s in my house doing work like that, I need to be able to ask some questions and they should be able to reply. But since I’ve been remodeling my home, I found that contractors do that a lot. They’re still gonna do what they wanna do regardless. Other than that, my kitchen floor met my expectations and it looked well with my newly installed granite countertops.

    Had flooring installed a year ago and it has been an ongoing battle with small issues but I am not happy with it and it is impossible to get it all fixed. Manager even came out to inspect and said it was a poor install relating to a not properly inspected sub floor. Issues are still arising and it is impossible to get this all fixed. At this point I would rather have my money back. To top it all off their "Customer Support" Is anything but supportive or helpful, they couldn't care less.

    My mother passed away six months ago and we’re in the process of refurbishing her apartment so we could put it up for sale. I was looking for a product that was not that expensive but good. The salesman from Luna Flooring brought up several boards with carpeting on them and I chose one. It was gonna be too expensive so he said sometimes they have pieces in the warehouse that they can sell at a discount. I gave him the okay and he checked to see if they had this particular carpet. As it turns out, they did and he gave me a very, very good price. The color and the texture were right. I hope that it will hold up as well, as it looks like it will.

    The salesman played a big role for me to choose Luna. The other salesperson was extremely pushy and just kinda tried to pooh-pooh anything that I said because I saw Luna first. I didn’t tell that salesman who the other company was because I understand there’s a kind of relationship between the two. I just told him that I wanted to consider what he was saying to me. He kept calling and texting me. He just won’t leave me alone. Even when I told him I’m going on another direction he continued to pursue me. So I was glad I had signed the contract with Luna.

    I like the carpet very much. It looks really nice. One of the bedrooms has an attached walk-in closet and an attached bath. I’ve personally been working on the bath and I’ve been walking down the carpet. You would never know I was walking on it. It was good. I was just really happy that the salesman went ahead and checked into like a short piece off of a roll that he could give me a better price on. I could get the two bedrooms in under $1,000 so it was a good deal.

    Luna did the carpeting for our living room and dining room. The guy presented us the price and he went down to a price that we could handle and said we could get it the next day so we signed up. But we have one problem with them and it's still ongoing. I have not gotten any satisfaction. He said that the fellas that installed the carpeting were supposed to leave us with the warranty and the maintenance for the product. I've called at least five or six times requesting it and they keep telling me that it was sent out on the 6th of this month and it takes 15 days. It still has not come and I'm pretty ticked off about that. They could install a carpet the next day and then it takes them this long to do something like that. That’s sort of ridiculous.

    The people on the phone could also be definitely be improved. They put me on hold and they never come back. When I called back, they put me on hold again and then they dropped the call. It's just one thing after another when calling there. But we're happy with the installers. They were good and the salesman was also okay. I also enjoy the carpet.

    I like the Twist which is also known as a short shag. I learned that the density per ounce is between 50 and 60 which made it a good rug. I checked several places and went to Home Depot. They came and estimated but I’m concerned with their calculations. I measured 550 square feet and they measured almost 800. They wanted 3,000 bucks just to do the job. So, I made two different appointments with Luna and Empire. The Luna salesman was very nice and very informative. Apparently they don’t sell by square feet. They go by whatever room dimension and they picked out a plush rug. They told me that the density is 41 which was less than the sample I had because I had samples from both places. But he said, “Well, that’s a different rug, but we have that.” And they did.

    Luna Flooring has the Twist which I like. He said, “Well, it’s a little more expensive, but it’s okay.” And he quoted me 2,000 max. I said, “‘Huh? From 3,000 to 2,000.” It was the rug and the color that I wanted. I also found out that they are sister companies with Empire and that they get their rugs from the same warehouse. So, I cancelled Empire and I went with Luna. The installers came and they moved all the heavy stuff while I moved the small stuff. They tore out the old rugs, took them away, cleaned up, installed the rug and put all the furniture back. They did an excellent job. They were very friendly and kept on working steadily. I’m very satisfied with the installation.

    My old rug which was installed by Empire 14 years ago has a lot of debris when we vacuumed it and was getting worn in the whole area that’s why I decided to change it. I've had the Luna rug for three weeks now. So far, I vacuumed it three times and the first time, I expected to pick up a lot of the stuff and I did. It wasn’t overly though as compared to the old rug. The second time, it was less and the third time was even less. So, it’s holding together. Overall, my experience with Luna Flooring was excellent.

    We had carpeting and laminate flooring installed through Luna. We looked up a few others on the computer but Luna seemed like a real good one. When the salesman came to the house, that convinced me because he was so nice and thorough and just absolutely wonderful. He answered all the questions. My favorite thing about the flooring is the color. It brings life to the room and it looks very nice. I also like that it is stain-resistant.

    However, we noticed last week that the flooring by the end of the patio window is loose.     I was disappointed that it took me two and a half months to get an appointment for someone to come and look at my carpet for it to be repaired. Once the installer came out to do the repair, he informed me that he was unable to do the repair that day because it was not put in as a repair but a restretch and he would not get paid for it. He advised me to make another appointment and to specify that a repair was needed and that I already had the carpet but needed the padding. I did as he asked and made the appointment for 3 weeks from that day. However, the day before the installer was due to come out again, I received a phone call stating that the appointment had been cancelled and that I would have to make yet another appointment and take off another day of work.

    I cannot believe how much of a run around I have gotten within the last 2 and 1/2 months just to get a repair done on my carpet that I spent $2,000 on for two rooms. I didn't get this much of a run around when I needed someone to come out here and give me an estimate of how much it would cost me to do my two rooms in my home. I would expect no less when it comes to repairing something that you've already purchased. I am extremely unhappy, upset and very disappointed to say the least. Had I had known the run-around that I was going to be given if and when a problem would arise, I would have gone with another company. I have other rooms in my house that I would like to update, but in light of what I have been through I will be going with another company.

    Luna has been our go-to place for all of our carpeting and any other needs, and their reps have been very responsive. When we moved in four and a half years ago, we had them put in carpeting in our house. And most recently, we had carpeting put out here in our three season room. It had what we used to call linoleum back in the day, but it was tile. It was nice because it was easy to use and we didn’t spend as much time out here as we thought we would. But since we were upgrading things in our house, we decided that we would get carpeting to cover the ugly floor. And since the room has three-sided windows, I’m concerned about the sun having an effect on the carpet. It’s a really light-colored carpeting and I don’t know what the sun would do to it if it were exposed to it for a long period of time. Nonetheless, the carpet looks elegant and we would recommend Luna.

    Horrible and frustrating from start to finish. The original sales person wasn’t able to make the appt. so another sales person said he would come instead. Ended up calling us hours later and said he couldn’t make it, but we decided to give him another chance and rescheduled once again. When he finally came, he sold us on some “great deal” that included new carpet for two bedrooms and the stairway (in the contract). When the installers showed up they said they didn’t have an order for the carpet for the stairs. We called Luna and they said they could reschedule the stairway carpet installation. We scheduled for last Friday morning (first thing) and my husband had to take off work to be at the house for the appt. They called that morning and said now they wouldn’t be there until 1-3pm, when originally they were supposed to come first thing.

    We waited for them to come until 250pm and they never showed. My husband called customer service and she couldn’t get ahold of the installers either. So he waited around all day, took off work, and they never showed. What is incredibly frustrating is the fact that this was a HUGE inconvenience for us, especially when we rescheduled because of Luna’s screw up. We ended up rescheduling AGAIN and they are installing the carpet for the stairway today. While we are satisfied with the quality of the carpet, we are beyond irritated with the customer service, salesperson, and installers. We would go out of our way to tell others to not use Luna. Not worth it. I’d rather pay more and actually have the company follow through with the contract.

    The work Luna Flooring does is good quality job, and there’s a whole lot of projects that I have for them to do. They just finished my den and I wanted my kitchen done. I wanted it done in ceramic tile but they said they couldn’t put ceramic tile down over what I had down there without taking all that stuff off. The salesperson didn't tell me that though and I had paid over 2,000 and something dollars to do it. I told them to forget it and I cancelled the requirement. They were supposed to refund my credit card. But I waited from a Friday all the way to a Wednesday. I checked my credit card and it still was not refunded.

    I called them but the customer service is not in Baltimore. It’s somewhere up north and they don’t seem interested in working with the customers. They kept springing me on and sending me from one person to the next person. It took about four days to get an answer. I had changed the material and now, what they've decided to do is take out what I would pay for that flooring and then refund the rest to us. But it’s still gonna take 10 to 15 days. It should take no more than three days because it was done on our credit card though. The customer service sucks. They need to sharpen up their customer service. That’s what brings customers back. But I’d still recommend Luna.

    The carpet before was horrible and the place is a rental property so I was looking for a carpet in the color of dirt. I looked at other brands but we had a contract on price with Luna Flooring. Plus the carpet I got there is actually a very pretty color of dirt. It's dark but not too dark where it takes away from the room. It allows enough light in the room and it looks pretty stain-resistant. So we're happy.

    We had the carpet installed in three bedrooms, a hallway and the stairway, and it went well. The installers were on time and since we had painted before they did the installation, they were very careful. They didn't scratch the walls and we didn't have to go over any issue in areas where the carpet was laid. They were a little short on measurement so they didn't complete the stairs on the first day. But it wasn't their fault. Besides, they came back and finished it up without a hitch. Luna Flooring did a good job. In fact, I'd probably call them again. There's another rental property where we're gonna need the carpet replaced.

    Updated on 12/13/2018: They don't warranty anything. Then inspector come out and tell you one thing and then you get a call from Luna. Randy or Robert telling you that's not what the inspector said. Even when I recorded the inspector stating it's Luna fault and they would need to replace the floor. But no they don't stand behind their own inspectors. So it's lies from the beginning from the salesperson to the installers to the management. WOULD NEVER recommend this to anybody. Use your local stores - Lowe's, Menards, the mom and pop stores!! Luna sells you the cheapest FLOORING and charges you outrageous prices. They only bring in the cheapest flooring. They will not bring in the better flooring. I was told they are never to bring in the good flooring. Read the reviews. Go to BBB and read their reviews and it's the same guys Randy and Robert.

    Updated on 10/17/2018: This is my 2nd inspection. The 1st one was not an inspection. It was an installer coming out to see if he made mistake. Saw that there was water damage. Said was not his fault so they send another guy. He was a inspector. I recorded him starting at the Laminated flooring was open and needs to be replaced. Customer service called me and told me that it was my fault due to washing of the floor. Apparently you cannot wash laminated floors from Luna or Empire. Even following the directions on the packages of the flooring they do not warrant to it.

    Original Review: The installers stolen my padding. Replace it with cheaper padding. At time we are still checking to see if they replace my carpet with cheaper carpet. Because it is already Wore out and it's only been not even 6 months. My laminated floors have already buckled. They're been replaced once already because then scholars do not do it right. I am blocked. My cell phone my house phone my son's cell phone. We are all blocked and just get answer machine. Still waiting on a technician to come out to inspect the laminated floors. Never again. I just want my money back.

    Due to the significantly low cost of the Luna product, we decided to use Luna on 4 separate occurrences for flooring requirements in our homes. I should have never used Luna again after the first situation when our installers arrived intoxicated and unable to perform the flooring work less than two years ago but due to the very inexpensive flooring costs from their competitors, we continued to use Luna for a total of 4 projects.

    Less than two years from installation from the first project, patches of our carpet are completely bare now. We have had the Luna flooring "inspection" completed and have been unable to retrieve any information from our alleged Luna representative managing the claim. This individual is always "not in the office that day" when contact is attempted to be made and one customer service agent mentioned that I will be charged for the repairs. Please do not use Luna products and be swayed by their competitive pricing. Their lack of quality and customer service is pathetic and will never use them again. If I could rate them zero stars, I would have.

    It was a Saturday and I got online looking for flooring companies and found Luna Flooring. I got on their website and they wanted to know when we’ would be available for someone to come out and I said, “You can go anytime.” A lady showed up the next day — on a Sunday, bought some samples of the flooring, went up and measured everything. She was a very nice lady. Then on a fine Tuesday of that same week their installer came back to install it. It was great that they responded very quickly. So far the engineered wood floor that we had installed is still looking real good. If I needed more done, I’ll definitely be using Luna Flooring again.     Why does it take an Act of Congress to get flooring installed when you have had an appointment for 2 1/2 weeks??? THEY cancelled the first time due to "lack of installers", for carpet. The wood flooring was still as scheduled. I rescheduled the carpet. The day of installation for the wood flooring, got automated phone message he is on his way. 3 hours later we call to find out where he is at for he has not shown up yet. We call Luna. Luna calls the installer, gets no answer and leaves a message for him to call me. The installer calls, the installer claims to have broken down on the way to install my flooring.

    I call Luna, they have not heard from the installer. Luna wants to reschedule the wood flooring. I need to get my flooring done ASAP due to it going up on the market to be sold and I have people coming to look at my home in 2 days. I want to cancel. Luna assures me that both the wood flooring and the carpet will be done the next day and compensates me a little for my trouble and aggravation. I agree. The next morning, I receive the automated call saying the wood flooring was on the way and that I was 2nd on the list. Ok. No problem. Meanwhile I get another phone call from Luna saying that my carpet would have to be rescheduled due to lack of installers for the day.

    At this time, I am HIGHLY upset. I call the person in which I spoke to the day before that assured me that my flooring would be completed on this day. She says that the phone call was a mistake and that my carpet was being loaded on the truck to be sent out to be installed today. Ok. I am fine with that. My wood flooring was completed. I am very satisfied. Carpet was suppose to be here between 3-7 p.m. At 5:15 p.m. a phone call was made because I had not heard from anyone about the carpet. Luna says the installer is having trouble at the job site prior to me and did we still want them to come. I still want them to install the carpet. They are suppose to call when they are on their way. At 8:30 p.m.still no call from the installer. I call Luna. The man I spoke to did not know my situation and asked to give him 10 minutes to check out the situation and call me back. Now it is 10:30 p.m.

    I have not heard from ANYONE!!! The installer never called. The person from Luna NEVER called me back. I AM ANGRY!!! Someone will hear about this in the morning and I am one ANGRY customer! My home cannot be shown to people who have made appointments and I could possibly lose out on the a sale of my home. I WILL NEVER USE THIS COMPANY EVER AGAIN AND I WILL NOT RECOMMEND!!

    We used Luna once for a friend and we had a really good experience with it so we went with them, too. We had carpeting and hardwood installed and we like the quality. We had a prefinished hardwood put in and it almost perfectly matches the hardwood that we have on the first floor that was sanded and stained and the whole nine yards with that. The prefinished hardwood is perfect. Luna's installation team and the guy who came out to give us the initial quote and measure up were good. Their installers called and gave us the time they were gonna be here and they were here on time. When they ran into traffic, they called and told us they would be about 10 minutes late. They didn’t leave us hanging. Everything was very good. I'd tell others to definitely go with Luna.

    Had laminate flooring installed on almost entire main level on Jan 27, 2017. After a year and a half, the flooring has started to separate in one area, a threshold piece has come unglued and after a stove repair, we discovered a complete chop floor job was performed under the stove by LUNA. I called LUNA to schedule an appointment for an inspector to come out on June 28th. The inspector was very thorough and noted the 3 issues and told me that LUNA would get back to me in 3-5 days.

    After 2 weeks of waiting for LUNA to call, I called LUNA back and got Louise on the phone. She was very nice and appeared helpful after apologizing to me that no one followed through and called me back to schedule the repair. She also informed me that the company is going through "growing pains" and that things are tough right now. Louise scheduled the repair date for July 18th so I took the day off from work to accommodate the 8-12 time slot that was given to me.

    At approximately 4pm on July 18th, I finally received a phone call from who I thought was the repairman, but it turned out that he thought he was coming out to do an inspection. I explained to him that the inspection was done in June already and that I was waiting all day for the repair to be done. He was very difficult to understand so I asked that he have his boss call me. His boss called back after a half hour or so, to tell me that he was the repairman and that he would be able to do the repair after all. Complete communication breakdown by LUNA after me taking a day off. So the boss told me he would call me back the next day to priority schedule me for another day that will accommodate me, I am still waiting for his phone call on August 2nd.

    Meanwhile, I called Louise back on the 19th to find out why this happened and got her voicemail. I left her a very nice message that day and never heard back. I called Louise again a couple of days later and still, no phone call returned today. I waited about a week after hearing from no one at LUNA and called LUNA again to schedule and explain the situation from the round one inconvenience. They made me a "priority" for Aug 2, morning priority, between 8-12. That doesn't sound like a priority to me... 8-12, four hours of waiting again! At 11am, I called LUNA to find out the status of the repair technician. I was told that he "should" be at my house around 1 or 1:30. So... another full day of work missed just so I can be LUNA's "priority!"

    I am not one to complain about this kind of thing normally, but this is absolutely the worst customer service I have EVER received from any company in my lifetime. I, as the customer, don't care that the company is going through "growing pains." I am a customer who wants their flooring repaired in a more timely manner than almost 1.5 months. LUNA's scheduling for repairs is POOR at best and their communication and follow through is worse than poor. I would, without question, avoid using this company and will never recommend them... at least until they can tell me that their "growing pains" are done!

    The main thing I called Luna Flooring out for was to get quote and I told the guy that I wanted to wait six months for financial reasons. But he told me that they could put off installation for a couple of months and he kept on and on. I was high pressured into it and we ended up going ahead and signing the contract with him. But even today after the flooring has already been installed, I still would have preferred doing it in January.

    I told the salesman I'm a big collector of everything and that it would take me a month to pack everything up. That was even pushing it because I'm 73 years old and I don't get around like a spring chicken anymore. He told me that if it was not ready by July 31st, we could send it back. I finished packing around the 15th of July so I called the office. I told them that we could go ahead and set the date up earlier since we had already signed the contract and that they could go ahead and do the installation because my husband didn't want to walk over all the boxes for an extra two weeks.

    We set a date for them to come out to do the install and they said they would call us before they got ready to come out. I waited and waited and until the day before the install was to be done, I still hadn't heard anything. So I called the office and every time I call the office, I would get the runaround. They told me they would get somebody to call me back but nobody did. The salesman was having an emergency with his son and I can understand that but when you can't do something for your company, you get somebody to take your place until you're able to take over again, right? But I still didn't hear anything.

    The next morning, they showed up around 10:30 but I was gone by then. I had an appointment so I had to leave the house for a while and I thought they would be here at 8 o'clock so I got up early, made sure that my husband and I were dressed and everything was ready to go. And when they showed up, they wanted the money immediately. But we couldn't do that. We had to have the money and we were planning on doing the 12-month zero interest plan. They kept saying they couldn't start until they got the cash so my husband put it on American Express. Then they went ahead and installed. But that was a miscommunication again and everything got wrong.

    The installers were courteous and efficient in applying the flooring, and they answered all my questions as they proceeded. They had to come back the next day to finish the job. They came back later in the afternoon and when they had finished the job, they couldn't get out of here fast enough. They gave me something to fill out for the install only but they gave me the customer copy instead of the office copy. That was wrong. So I said I needed copies of something that would show what they had done. So I made a copy of all the paperwork so I had something.

    But I never knew how many boxes of product was ordered for the job. While they were installing, I told them that I wanted to keep whatever was left over. When they finished the job, I got a a partial box that they were working on to finish the job. I could have paid for 63 cartons and they installed 50. I have no guarantee. After that, I waited several days but I still didn't hear anything from them. I asked where the warranties and the guarantee on the product were. They told me that I would have to maintain the product and that they would send that to me. They said it would take three to five days, but I had to call them back again a week later. They said they would email it to me in two or three days. Well, I finally got the email yesterday.

    Besides talking to the office back and forth, I talked to the salesperson also. He said he would check into it and call me back but he hasn't gotten here yet. I had to wait a while and also stay on top of them. We got the new vinyl wood look flooring and I like the product, as well as the install that they did. But as far as working with the office, they were all idiots. I was very dissatisfied with the experience and I will not be going back to Luna again.

    We saw an advertisement on TV saying Luna Flooring has a sale of 70% off, so we decided to contact them. The sales manager who we dealt with was very nice. He seemed to know a lot about carpeting and the business. We got wall-to-wall carpeting for our living room, dining area, and hallways. The installation team was from a different company, but they were fine and polite. There was a problem though where they said they wanted to rip out the cork poured on the bottom of my wall and put the carpet in that way. I wasn't told by the sales manager that that was gonna have to be done as I would never have approved it. So, I called him and explained what the installers wanted to do. He said he'd never heard of that before and then, he emailed the company that was doing the work.

    There was kind of a stall because the installers weren't gonna do anything until I gave the okay and until they heard from their boss. Then, a man from the installation team told me that we would have to get a different company to come in and do the work because they didn't have the equipment to do it. The sales manager said they could just put it up right to the wall and he didn't understand what the problem was. This took about a half hour. Finally, the installation team got a call and they were told to put it up against the wall like what the sales manager had said. From that point on, there was no problem but I was a little irritated that we had to go through that. They did the work which just took longer, but they were trying to save time. Once everything was done, the carpeting has met my expectations and looks really nice. I would recommend Luna Flooring.

    I had new carpeting installed in the basement of my home by Luna Flooring. The gentlemen from Carpet One, the company that installed the original carpet came in and gave an estimate which was kind of high. A flyer came in through the mail from Luna so I contacted them. Thereafter, somebody from came and showed some samples. We picked one and they gave us an estimate of how much it would cost to install.

    However, something was not right. Their installers came and then they had to go away because the material was short. The next time, another group of installers came and they were provided with the first material which was short to begin with. They installed even then and as they were running short on time, they had to standby. I told Luna that this was not professional and that I should be compensated because I am waiting for them to go back since the material was short. I'm not satisfied with them.

    I decided one day to get my flooring done and I reached out to Luna Flooring because of the speed of how they could do things. I got dark colored vinyl planks and had them installed in three bedrooms. They have an old look to them, they're dark brown and they're very nice. I like the easy care of them as well. The only thing is they had removed my closet door and it was kind of off the track. And the guy came back the very next day, then he put it back on the track but he also told me what to do if it pops out again. And it did pop out again and I couldn't fix it. And he suggested that I needed a new door, but the door is only a couple of years old.

    Luna Flooring was wonderful! We had them install hardwood floors in our whole house. We used them before and I was so pleased with them so I just called them right away this time. When I first got them, they were much better in price and the quality was much the same as the others. The sales rep I dealt with this time, Brian, and the guy who put the flooring in were wonderful. We have to finish putting the flooring in because we were redoing the kitchen. So the guy who put it in gave us his card and told us to call him. He wants to put it in so that it all looks uniform, which I thought was awesome.

    I like the color of our new flooring. But Luna needs a little bit more variety. It wasn't the exact one I wanted, but it was close enough that the price was worth it. And it looks wonderful, too. The only thing is their threshold that finishes off the flooring from one room to another doesn't look as nice quality as the flooring does. So they need to upgrade their thresholds, and they would be absolutely perfect.

    I liked Luna Flooring's selection much better than some of the other companies I had an appointment with. They also offered the best deal for the laminate in the kitchen and carpet in the living room with a little bit on the walk-in at the front door. I was looking for a particular color and was able to find something that matched up with what I wanted perfectly. The carpet is very soft, plush, and nice to walk on which is good. I live in an older home and the baseboards and the woodwork is natural wood color, and we were able to match the laminates to the existing woodwork almost perfectly. It was amazing.

    The installers were wonderful as well, particularly Roman. He was the gentleman who installed the laminate in the kitchen and he was fantastic. He was so polite, conscientious, very detailed-orientated and professional. He did a beautiful job installing the laminate and he cleaned up after himself. The place looked better than it did before he came in the house. It was awesome. The carpet guys were great too as well as they cleaned up after themselves but Roman was more personable.

    I called Luna to get a second estimate on carpet. I decided to use them. They told me a date 06/07/2018. No one called to set up a time so I called. 2 hours later I get an automatic call back stating they will be there by noon. About 1 I called back. 2 hours later they called and said, "We are at your house but the lady said she was not expecting carpet." Of course they were at the wrong house. 30 minutes later they showed up and proceeded to get the carpet done. Ohh oops not enough carpet ordered so now he tells me he will be back the next day around 10-11. I agreed.

    So on 06/08 he shows up close to 12 stating traffic was bad. When he finished I saw seams and asked why. Now please understand I speak English and he spoke Spanish. So language barrier from day 1. Of course I am walking bare feet on the carpet trying not to mess anything up when my foot gets stuck. Hhhmm so what’s this. I started feeling around on the floor and get cut by nails. Come on. Why are these nails up?? I called them and they said, "We will get back with you in 24 hours." Well no call so. So I called them back and then was told that someone would be getting back to me today. Well that was on 06/25 and to this date no one has called. I will be calling back. And I will follow up when this situation has been completed. But right now the service has been horrible.

    I had Luna Flooring in my front room, dining room, and a bedroom and in the hallway about seven years ago. I went with them again and had them for my kitchen flooring and a bedroom flooring, one laminated and one waterproof. The reps at Luna gave me a hard time because they said the floor was gonna be installed one day and it wasn't. And then they said it was asbestos on the floor but when they checked it and had the job open about two weeks, there wasn't any asbestos on the floor. The guy that came over said, "How could they even say that there was asbestos on the floor?" It was a little nerve-racking. That kind of held me up and I was kind of disappointed with that.

    Then, one lady told me that she was gonna give a gift for my trouble but that never happened. I didn't like the customer service at all. They weren't honest with talking to me. If I say I'm gonna pay, I'm gonna pay. And I believe business just has to be business. Do what you say, that was what I was looking for. But the installers were fast and punctual. They put things back and cleaned up real well. Also, our floor looks good and so I'm satisfied with that.

    I had laminate flooring installed by Luna Flooring. I got a ton of different estimates including Empire, 50 Floor and Carpetland, and they were all much higher, or the product wasn’t as nice for the price. I went with Luna Flooring and had a sales rep, Jordan, come by several times. I’m surprised he even put up with me, so he was awesome. And then their customer service over the phone was good. The installers did everything perfectly, and they were very professional, fast, and they cleaned up. A different crew came back the second day to finish upstairs, and I pointed out how the lady who was in charge the first day told me that they would staple back this cable wire that they had pulled apart in the living room, dining room, and kitchen. So they went to Wal-Mart to get the staple things to do that for me. They were wonderful and I couldn’t be happier with them.

    I would brag about how great Luna Flooring is. I would definitely tell my friends to use the sales rep that I had. Luna is also definitely the best value because the product is so wonderful and better than I expected.     We love the hardwood floors installed by Luna Flooring. They called me because we had used them in the past for some insurance replacement work, and offered me a good deal. So we went with them. However, the sales guy gave me one price but when the guys came out to do the install, they said that a lot more work was required than what they were told. And I said, “Well, more work typically means more money”, and they're like, “Yeah”. So then they called the headquarters and in the end, it was an additional $900. We had to get the floor down because we’re trying to get our house listed to be able to sell it. So they had me and it was very upsetting.

    Their customer service told me they were sorry, and they took $100 off of it. And I had no choice so I told them to do it. Other than that, the flooring is beautiful. The product is great, it looks durable, and it really makes my house look a lot nicer. And the guys who did the install were very professional and nice people. They said they were really sorry. But I kept telling them that my anger was towards the sales guy. To get thrown that curveball on the day of the install put a really bad taste in my mouth. And I'd tell others to be careful of the sales guy and to make sure their sales guy understands the project fully and that he really inspects for what it is that’s being done.

    The sales person who claimed he was the manager came out to my house yesterday when I asked for a quote. He never brought samples, he told me he had carpeted townhouses in my area before, he said the sale ended yesterday if I wanted a discount. I told him I wanted a quote please, he was there a total of 4 minutes, and told me when I was serious give him a call. He never looked at the entire house, he did nothing to show he was interested in my business. I would NEVER use Luna even if they were giving it away for free. He was rude, pushing and was not even interested in my business unless I signed a contract. Good luck with that Luna. You stink. He quoted some off the wall price.

    I'm very happy with the man that installed the laminate flooring in my living and dining rooms. Luna Flooring was timely in coming out and how long they were here. They were very careful, especially with my china cabinet. Before I could caution them on it, they had already moved it with no breakage at all. I love my floors and it was within my budget. I got a good deal out of it. I have waited long to do it and now that I've got it I am very happy. But there is one spot on the archway from my living room to my dining room where my doorbell wiring runs under the flooring. And when you stand on that spot or someone walks on the dining room to the living room and vice versa, the doorbell rings. I hope they can correct it.

    I called Luna and Empire. But once Luna came I cancelled Empire because I liked the deal I was getting with Luna based on the price and the quality. I wanted the carpet, but it didn’t have it in that color. I wanted the stain protector and all that. It was all in the earth tone colors and that, but it wasn’t in the grade that I purchased. I wanted black. I had Luna install carpet at the house's lower level and the two guys who came in and installed were quick and professional. Two people asked me about my carpet before and I had told them I had Luna. Both of them asked how it turned out this time.     Going with Luna was the easiest option. We have laminate flooring installed by them in our living room, dining room, and hall. The flooring has been good, and it is not carpet and does not stain. Luna, however, was very reluctant. Where I live, I don't exactly own this place. And they wanted just a statement that Luna is licensed and bonded. I had a terrible time getting that out of them. It was very frustrating -- many emails, many phone calls. I was getting whole lots of people, and they all said they'd do it but they didn't until I threatened to just cancel the whole thing. Nevertheless, I am satisfied.

    LUNA NIGHTMARE. Luna arrived at my new home and the employee immediately notified me that he did not have enough materials but he would start the job. That day he left when 80% of the job was done and he could not confirm that they would come the next day to finish. Both he and I contacted the company. I contacted a customer rep named Stephanie. Stephanie seemed concerned and promised to follow up with the problem but she did not. This is two days after the work was started and NO ONE from Luna has called me back. I have sent five emails and left numerous voicemail message. What kind of company starts a job and then simply drops its duty to the customer. If for some sad reason you go with Luna, do not pay in full because they will treat you like garbage once they have all your money.

    Luna Flooring installed a carpet for me in two levels of my house. Luna's salesperson was very effective, except for one thing. I was going to get the financing for one year until I learned that Wells Fargo was the bank and I decided that Wells Fargo is not a bank that I wanna deal with. So I paid for my purchase with another credit card and that worked out, except that I ended up getting a credit card from Wells Fargo that I didn’t want. Compared to the price of the carpet at 50 Floor and Home Depot, I got a very good price and good quality with the carpet of Luna Flooring. Also, the carpet is comfortable. I don’t plan to be in the house very much longer, but the carpet needed to be replaced and it’s great that someone can move in without having to replace it.

    The sales rep was a great rep, but the installers are who messed everything up. Mind you I took a day off for them to come out. First of all they didn't even show up on time. They didn't even have enough carpet to complete the install. Prior to the install they measured the room and told me they couldn't do it because they didn't have enough carpet. I called in to customer care whom didn't care. Called my rep who notified his manager named Dee who gave me a call days later. She was telling me that it's not their fault, and it didn't make sense they didn't have enough carpet.

    I asked for compensation to no avail and she would not refund my deposit. So I asked to speak to her boss whose name is Kevin **, which he is the BIGGEST ** there is. There is no reasoning with him. He stated that I concocted this whole thing up with the installers to try to get something out of the company. Then stated that I am "lucky" that they are not charging me for them being short (mind you they took pictures of the layout and drew the layout and took laser measurements).

    He also stated that they won't be charging me for having to come out again which was their fault to begin with. I demanded that I get my money back and he refused nor would he compensate me for my time for having to take the day off. He was very rude and condescending. In the end he told me these exact words, "I am refunding your $200. Take it and go shop elsewhere". Worst company with the worst service. How could you even trust their warranty if their customer service is **?

    We had Luna put in hardwood flooring in the living room as well as carpeting in the hallway and in the washroom downstairs. They worked with us but in the end, the flooring had to be redone and it took them four tries to get the flooring. The people who put it in did a good job but now, everything’s coming apart. Also, they told us the hardwood floor was not scratchable and now, it’s scratched up. I wouldn’t recommend Luna to anybody.

    We got a hickory product from Luna Flooring. However, the salesperson said that it doesn't easily get scratched at all but that wasn't the truth. That bothered me a great deal. So, we've had to be extremely careful with the floor just on everyday use. I specifically stated that I needed something that would be scratch resistant. Nevertheless, installation wise, Luna Flooring was fine. The guys who installed did a great job and they were mindful of my home. They worked really hard and got everything done. I was really happy with the service they provided. Still, I would not recommend the product. I would've made a different choice had they not told me it was scratch resistant.

    It was time to change up the flooring in my home. I purchased carpet from Luna Flooring and I had it installed in the bedrooms and stairs. The price seemed good at that time and I was satisfied with my experience. But I don’t feel like a good job was done and I’m completely not happy with the padding of my carpet. It feels super cheap, I can’t live with it, and it's awful. I called them about it and I need to set up some time when they’re gonna come in to fix it. But it’s gonna cost me some money and will be a big inconvenience. Their sales reps should have the padding upfront and people need to be able to walk on it to understand the difference because it was never really stressed that I should look into this.

    I realize most of these reviews are excellent... but... I had the salesman come to see if they could match my current wood floor for my office. We agreed on a product that was very close. I had a certain time I had to have installation done. After choosing a time and date we put everything in writing. I was told I would receive a call to confirm a day prior... no call until the day of... recording... ok, choose #1 if you have any questions or concerns... ok... just wanted to make sure the time is correct so someone will be home as agreed. Person answered and stated to let her call the installer to be certain they would be on time or at least close.

    When she returned... stated he would not be able to make it because he had a large job. Now you called me to confirm... if I had just hung up... what then. I had moved furniture already and was looking for my installers. Now of course being concerned I called back and spoke to 3 different people who assured me all was corrected and my install would be as scheduled. Well no show. No call until 3 or 4 days later to reschedule??? Like nothing was wrong... no apology or anything... I do think the price was a little high for the size of the room but I will pay for good service. I did finally receive my paid in full refund. No more Luna for me.

    The rep from Luna was very knowledgeable and we felt comfortable selecting them. They were the first and we did not allow another company to come in. The other company that we would have allowed was already a part of Luna. We had floors installed in the living room, dining room, upstairs, hallway and three bedrooms.     I like the quality of the products that I got from Luna Flooring. Their sales rep was excellent and I ended up getting hardwood floors for one part of the house and carpet for the other part. I considered another brand but they were not as good so I chose to go with Luna. The people that came to install both the hardwood and the carpet were also very professional, very competent, very courteous, and polite. But there was some kind of a confusion and mix up among the staff and the head office because I got one of their people to say that he would come soon for the installation of the carpet which was not true.     We had Luna install laminate flooring in our dining room and the master bedroom, all the rooms upstairs and almost the whole house have carpeting. I worked with Empire years back and I wasn’t impressed with them at that time and we thought we’d have Luna this time. The carpet that we got for our den is so much better and softer. The padding is great and not flat like the other carpet. The laminate could have a little bit more padding underneath it, but it looks great and it matches our woodwork. We picked it out because we have oak trim all through the house and it really looks nice. Now, all I have to do is mop it up.

    The installation was awesome and the guys were very hard workers. For the carpeting, they didn’t figure that upstairs, downstairs and all the stairs going up had to be carpeted and so, there was a two-day set up. They came out at 2:00 which was a little late, but they were done by 9:30 at night. They were non-stop and there were no breaks. I even gave them a couple of pies because I felt so bad for them. But they worked great together and one was in one room doing one thing and set the other up.

    We still had some bad stuff in there to move out of each room and I had nowhere else to put some of the furniture. So I loaded them in the upstairs bathroom completely and there were still things in the room that they had to move around in order to install it. Even with the landing, they were done in two hours. It was in and out and I never had any problems with anything being laid. This was great and I couldn’t ask for a better crew that came out. I worked most of my life, I just retired and I know what hard work is and they really put it out.

    We had an estimate for Empire coming in on the same afternoon that Luna's salesman was talking with us. He was able to negotiate a deal for us if we canceled that and Empire's guy never showed up anyway so we went with Luna. We had them install hardwood flooring in three bedrooms and a walk-in closet in our home in Dover, Delaware. The rest of the house had hardwood flooring in it so, we wanted to take the carpeting up and lay hardwood to match what was already in the house.

    The contract said that the series of flooring was gonna be Woodbridge but all the boxes for what was installed said Bruce Flooring. We also had an issue with how the installers didn’t get the information that they needed or didn't properly judge the amount of time the installation was gonna take. My husband went down to Dover from Maryland to be there while the flooring was installed and it's a two and half hour drive down to Dover from where we live now. The installers arrived 9 o’clock-ish, which was the time they said they would be there, and they were there till 2:00 the next morning installing the floor.

    Apparently, there wasn’t enough manpower to get the floors installed in a timely manner and they were still installing the wood way later than they should’ve been in a retirement community. Plus, the salesman told us that Luna had their own installers. But that was not true because they were subcontracting out the job and the three guys that came to install the floors told my husband that they didn't work for Luna.

    I liked that Luna's reps came to the house and showed me the samples. So, I chose them to install carpeting all over my condo and my experience with them was positive. I gave them some parameters that narrowed the choices on the carpet so I really didn't have that much of a selection in the bottom line. I was also a little rushed to decide which one to get and I ended up having the nylon, which is good. It's got nice padding and looks like melted spat. But I didn't want anything that showed footprints and the one I got did, though not as bad as real plush ones do. Also, I have a glue thing in the hallway which I reported already but so far, I haven't heard anything from anybody. Other than that, they did a good job and the guys that installed it were very nice. They played their music and it was very pleasant.

    I love the color and the feel of the carpet from Luna Flooring. It's nice and soft. The quality is nicer than another company's and Luna matched the other company's price. I ordered everything, gave a deposit and scheduled the installation. Then they showed up on a Saturday which was what I wanted and started the work. But they couldn't finish it because they didn’t bring enough product. I wanted it done immediately and originally, I was going to have to take a day off from work but they weren’t able to do that. They told me that they would be able to come on a Monday but then they told me that they weren’t going to be able to and that I'd have to wait another week in order to get a Saturday. It was frustrating to have my house in disarray and the work to be done over two days when that was part of what they had done. They came and measured. It was not like I measured and sent it to them.

    I thought about it a little bit afterwards and I wasn’t sure if they really did not have enough product with them. They showed up at 8:30 in the morning and they were there until almost 2:00. When they came back the next week, they were at the house for a good three hours. If they were at my house 'til almost two and they spent another almost three hours doing the rest of it, they would have been finished at my house around 5 o'clock. And they had to do another job on a Saturday. So if you start to think about it, did they really not have enough product? How would I know?

    I saw what they had there and they left quite a bit of remnants behind. They asked me if I wanted them and I told them I would take them. But I don't know if it would have been enough. It was an entire staircase that they didn’t do. Otherwise, the installers were very pleasant and apologetic. The same two guys came back the next week to finish the job and they did a nice job putting everything down. All around, I'm happy with it and I would recommend Luna Flooring.

    The estimate for the small kitchen floor was six thousand dollars. I thought that was excessively expensive. The salesman suggested that sometimes they have leftover material in the warehouse from a large job and they might be able to find it at a cheaper price. They did and I got the floor for two thousand. That was still too expensive, but I purchased it. The men did a good job and were very fast. I thought they were suppose to put down a subflooring, but they didn’t. They said I didn’t need it. I called the salesman and reported it, and they gave me a two hundred dollar rebate. I don’t think I would use Luna again, as I thought they were too expensive. Everyone I’ve talked to said I paid too much for the floor.

    Luna Flooring was the most convenient among other brands I considered in terms of time frame and price when I had floors installed in a rental property for me. I fell in love with the convenience of them doing the next day. I was getting the place ready for the renters to move in and Luna Flooring installed the wooden floors in the living room, dining room and hallways, as well as the kitchen area. The contractor is real professional and they finished the installation in one day. The work and the craftmanship was great.

    So, I'm satisfied with everything except for the way that the salespeople do their pricing. For instance, the sales guy came and I explained to him that I was an existing customer and wanted the floors done. He gave me a price of $8,000 and I told him that was too much. I also asked him how much are they charging to install a square foot of floor and he couldn't tell me. Then he said that he'll make a phone call, and he came back with a price that was $3,000 cheaper. He was like a car salesman, and that made me mad. This is my second time and both times I had to have that conversation with both salespeople. The very first time it was a lady. I get that they work on commissions, but I didn't care for the price guy part. I didn't like that part of negotiating the price for the floor because the price is what it is but don't gouge me.

    Somebody told me that Luna and Empire were owned by the same company. It didn’t matter which one I went with and so I used Luna Flooring to install carpet in 3 bedrooms.     I got my vinyl flooring through Luna and it was interesting because it was Pergo flooring that I was looking at. And I would’ve thought that the thickness would’ve been more with the Luna Flooring. I didn’t pay attention to the fact that it was thinner than that product. But I was looking for something with durability. I’ve had that flooring before. But the thickness was the only thing I wasn’t happy about. I just would’ve preferred it to be a little bit thicker.     The carpet on the living room and dining room was rank and old, and it was time to go. It was installed when the house was built 20 years ago. I called Luna Flooring after I got the flyer for a sale and a salesman came out to my house. He showed me the samples, told me a price and I could work with it. We set everything up and the process was pretty smooth.

    Then Luna Flooring sent some people out who were fantastic and they installed the laminate flooring. They came in and I got out of their way. They had enough people to do the job that it only took maybe three hours. They knew what they were supposed to do and they were quick. They got through and that was great. They let me know when they were finished and I looked at the flooring and I liked them a lot. The installers were very good and I was very happy with them.     This is the absolute worst company I have ever done business with! Beware-once they have your money it is near impossible to reach anyone if you have trouble and we had massive issues!! The first time they came out they had the wrong product so we had to reschedule. The second time they came out they tire up the tile we had but didn’t put up any plastic. As a result we had white dust covering everything in our house. They did not have enough product to finish and they did not do the floor correctly so it clacked like plastic when you walked on it. They promised they would come out the next day and finish the floor and never did and it was 1:30 PM in the afternoon before I learned no one would be coming.

    I was supposed to be on VIP status because we are having a wedding at my house this Thursday and it is 12:21 pm and no one is here nor can I get anyone I spoke with yesterday to call me back after 12 calls and 12 voicemails. They have given us a credit but that does not make up for the lack of customer service from this company. I will be speaking to the Better Business Bureau as well as letting everyone I know know what service I have not received and how bad this experience has been and how stressful I am feeling right now. The funny thing is it was just a 350 square-foot job in the kitchen and dining room so it wasn’t even a big job. I tried calling the salesperson numerous times and he has never called me back. I guess once they get your money they really don’t care! How sad!!! I am giving one star since zero does not affect the overall rating!!! I wonder if this review will get a reaction and someone will call me? I hope so!

    Consumers thinking about using Luna Flooring in the Frederick MD area should read this review and be aware. I had a not so satisfying experience with Luna. There is a sales guy named Les that you should avoid. He uses high pressure sales tactics to get your business really quickly by telling you that you will miss out one deals like the 70% off deal unless you agree to install your flooring within that week. He also is a rookie that does not do a good consultation. He overlooked some key things that needed to be addressed in order for the job I needed done to be done properly. I called him and asked him if he missed these key things. He assured me he didn't and that the installers could handle the work that I needed.

    Well the day the installers walked in they immediately saw that thing that the salesperson told me that they could handle with no problem and the installers told me that they could not handle that job and that other things would need to be done, much of which they are not allow to do. This salesperson Les actually lies to you just to get your business. I ended up not getting all the work done that I needed them to do but I still have to pay close to what they originally quoted me. On the day of my installation when all of the problems arose and I needed the salesperson the most, he was not available although we called him repeatedly. We chose the financing option and the installers showed up and asked for cash on delivery. They actually asked me for all of the money upfront. I told them that I chose the financing option and thus, I don't have to pay for the job upfront.

    They called the home office to verify but this was annoying because Luna should have their business together. It's been a few days and I still don't know what my payments will be for the flooring we had installed, this tells you how bad this salesperson is. However, he assured me that my payments would be low or close to the amount I want my payments to be. Again, I now recognize this was a ploy just to get my business. Again, he told multiple lies. Bottomline is that this person was likely trained by Luna and is a accurate representation of the character of the company. I want to spare you of the agony we went through. Think long and hard about dealing with Luna. If you live in the Frederick, MD area, do not let them assign a guy named Les to be your salesperson.

    I had called Luna Flooring looking to do my kitchen floor first. I needed real hardwood, but when the sales rep came to my house, he told me that they only do prefinished. Because he was there and knew I needed to redo the carpeting on my stairs and in my hallway upstairs, I said, "What do you got for carpeting? You're here, let's not waste the time." So, I ended up doing the carpeting.

    However, after I had already done my deposit with the salesperson, I saw an email that I had gotten a couple of days before the salesperson came out, that would show a discount that Luna was running. So I called the customer service and said, "I see this discount in my email. The sales rep didn't mention any discount to me. Can you tell me if I'm eligible for it?"

    I ended up on the phone with a woman named Stephanie, who was great. And she was going to have the salesperson call me back. But he never did. He told her he was going to call me. He claimed that he had already given me a discount but there was nothing reflected on the email with the contract, that there was anything discounted. It turned out that there was a disclaimer in the email at the very bottom that I overlooked, that had a minimum amount that I have to spend to get that discount. However, Stephanie gave me a $175 discount anyway. So she was awesome. She followed through every step until the guy showed up. She called me the morning of, "He's coming between these hours."

    The installer was amazing too. He worked his tail off. He was extremely professional and very detail oriented. He cleaned my house and it was cleaner when he left than before he got there. All the areas, he took all of the scraps and remnants of my old carpet that he ripped up with him. He gave two options on how to do the stairs 'cause of the way that they have been done previously when I built the house. And I went with what he was recommending, which was different. But it came out better. He did it all by himself and he worked really hard all day. He answered all my questions too. I also asked him his name and said if I have any more carpets, I was going to ask that Luna sends him.

    I got carpet flooring for my house from Luna and the quality of the carpet is good. My favorite part was the price. However, the only concern I had with the installers was that they didn’t put the vents back, closet doors and whatever doors they took out in order for them to put the carpet in. They wanted to leave, but it was a good thing that I came home and I made them put the doors back. The doors were heavy, and I could not do it. They were upset about that. Moreover, they took out 20 vents and they did not put all of them back.

    The installers did a good job in putting the carpet, but they did not do the small things that they were supposed to do to 100% satisfaction. Luna should consider more training for them. They have to put everything back in the same place before they started the job and not leave them for the owners to do. Aside from that, however, I have had a very good experience with this company and I would definitely recommend it.

    I am writing this review because every time I walk into my kitchen I regret using Luna. I did a partial remodel of my kitchen eight months ago and I thought over time the feelings of my bad experience would go away but they haven't. I take responsibility in continuing with Luna even after a terrible experience with the salesperson who was confused and very pushy. He showed up to my house without calling me first and that's because he called another customer (who lives 40 minutes away from me) and then came to my house. So, during my visit he spent a lot of time on the phone with the person who was expecting him.

    The installation was wrong too. I was expecting new underlay and border, and I got neither. It was a hassle to get that all sorted out and the customer service/manager person I spoke to was not sincere in the company's mistake. The laborers where very messy with the grout. All over my floor is a thin layer of grout that won't come off. I called for them to come back and take care of it and they showed up to my house at 9 pm, and I was expecting them at 6 pm. My lesson is to leave plenty of time for remodeling projects. I continued with Luna because I wanted the project done during my vacation time and that pressure caused me to compromise the quality service and product that I deserve. I am reminded every time I'm in my kitchen! Please take note of this terrible experience.

    Luna Flooring installed a luxury vinyl and a carpet in my home. It was put in the dining room, kitchen and the hallway. Compared to other brands, Luna Flooring's cost was better and I got a pretty good deal. The luxury vinyl is durable, waterproof, and easy to clean. However, a lot of things I didn't know popped up. For example, instead of putting a piece of vinyl on the top of the stairs, they tried to put an aluminum plate which looks really cheap and cheesy, and I didn't appreciate that. Even where the floor goes into the carpet, they put these gold strips and that was really outdated and cheap. I had to go and buy my own because they didn't even offer it so I was unhappy about that. And then I wasn't getting the answers I wanted or the callbacks from the salesperson. Pretty much, he was out of it once he made the sale and he wasn't forthcoming. Other than that, their installers were excellent.

    I liked what I saw at Luna Flooring when I was doing my research, so I went with them. The quality looked good and the cost seemed reasonable based on what other people might say.     We had the Serena flooring installed by Luna Flooring on four bedrooms and a hallway at the second level of our house. The flooring was of ¾ wood and in the American style. My experience with Luna Flooring has been very seamless. The installers were awesome and they did a very good job, especially in certain areas. They explained to me what they had to do, which was great. The flooring that Luna installed for us looks great. It has very much met my expectations and I’m very pleased with it. The quality of the product is very good, but we’ll find out over time if the quality of the flooring withstands its years.

    The only thing I was disappointed in was that, when I spoke to the rep that sold me the wood floors, I explained to him that my newborn baby that's a little premature was supposed to come home the next day and I didn’t want any dust track, and he said that they could get the work done in one day, but right before the installer installed the flooring, he mentioned that he could not get the work done in one day and it was going to be two days. A hotel room had to be rented in order for my newborn baby to not be in the house, so that was a bit disappointing because I ended up spending extra money and extra time. But it was just the time limit that threw me off. Other than that, the salesperson was great.

    I had tile and carpet installed by Luna Flooring in the whole home, except the basement. They had a mixture of the carpet and the color of the tile, and everything that I wanted. Also, there was the friendliness of the person who came to do the measurement. The sales rep was amazing, really nice and good, and she answered every question that I gave her. I like that my new flooring is not 70’s style anymore. It looks way better the way it looks now. It was worn, shag carpet in black and white checkered style in the kitchen.

    The installation process was okay, but I wasn't 100% impressed with the carpet installers. They didn’t remove any of the tracks for my closet and they just laid a piece of carpet inside of the closet and glued it in there. You can see where the carpet that they put in there is missing some pieces, as well as the floor underneath it in the corners. I’ve already had them come out here and fix a couple of things, and one thing still needs to be fixed.

    The carpet guys could have taken their time a little more to do the work. They took four hours to do the carpet for the whole house. There was more carpet than there was tile, but to rip out the carpet and everything else that they needed to do could have taken them at least another hour and they could have had it all done perfectly, instead of slacking a little bit. On the other hand, the tile guys were amazing and they did the job. It was a big job for them actually, but they did it in a day. On the whole, Luna Flooring did a pretty good job.

    I'm selling my home so I wanted to make it as best as possible. I had limited time to make a decision and went with Luna for the convenience and timeliness. I had carpet and laminate wood installed for their comfort and style. However, I was expecting a different color. I told Luna before that the carpet itself was great, but what I got was not what I selected, or at least not what I thought I was selecting. The only thing that they were able to offer was the warehouse here would be able to offer free labor. I would just need to repurchase materials that I would prefer better than what I would install. But I don't have the time nor the money to do that. Overall, the experience was good. The installers that came to the house were extremely fast, professional and did their job. They were also fast with delivery and following up with their installation. But I'd advise others to double check and make sure that the product they're selecting is exactly what they want.

    When we moved into the house, it had old carpet and it some old vinyl in the kitchen and the hallway. We had talked in the past to a couple of other places, and then the week before we spoke with Luna, we went to Lumber Liquidators and looked around, got pricing from them and estimated the cost. The pricing was comparable, but we felt better with the presentation of the products we saw from Luna. I had oak hardwood floors, luxury tile vinyl in the bathrooms and I had a carpet in the family room. The hardwood floors are much nicer looking. We also had them put hardwood on the stairs instead of the carpet. And the vinyl in the bathrooms has the appearance of a ceramic tile but it’s not as cold.

    The gentleman who came to sell us the flooring was there two nights. The first night we were giving him lots of flooring options, hardwood throughout or hardwood in everything but the family room, while looking at price combinations. He got to a point where his computer seemed to mess up on him, and so he wasn’t able to finish the quotes. And my concern was that, “Maybe this was a dodge to be able to play with the numbers more and come back.” But when he came back, the numbers were what we had gotten before. Then there was a little confusion about how the payment was gonna be made. When the installers got there, they were expecting cash when I had arranged to finance it. But I got several calls from Luna over the two and a half days of installation and they were very good. They were very responsive and they fixed the problems. I was very pleased and I would recommend them.

    When I considered purchasing a vinyl tile, I didn't want to do the work. I wanted somebody to install it. I went out on a limb and called Luna Flooring and asked them to come out. I was happy with what they had and went ahead. Besides, somebody had suggested vinyl because they have animals and they're a bit destructive. The salesman came up with a price, and when the installer came, he said he knew something was wrong because we didn't put cork padding underneath. It's like the salesman didn't know his product. So I got an extra 1,000 bucks for it. But then, we negotiated.

    I met them halfway. When I went to give them a check, they said the check wouldn't clear but I know the money was there. Then they figured I wasn't going to cancel the check so I paid it with a cashier's check. While I wasn't really happy about them not taking a personal check, the flooring installed by Luna is fine. I'll tell friends or family to go ahead and see what's going on with Luna, but to make sure the salesman knows what he's talking about.

    Absolute liars! They will say anything to get a sale, and make plenty of promises they fail to follow through on. My father recently passed away, and I was trying to repair the carpet in his apartment for his landlord. The landlord told me that they had originally used Luna, so I decided that might be the easiest. The landlord called and set up an appointment, and I followed up with one of their representatives named Anthony, to better understand the cost, as the landlord informed me it was $95 to just get an estimate.

    Anthony informed me that that is true, however, the $95 gets applied to the cost of installation and product if I accept their quote. After I asked additional questions, he informed me that the total cost including all fees, costs, and taxes should be $95 (since the installation and product should cost less than that). I also asked that he send me personally an estimate before they do the actual install so I could approve it, and to send me invoices for all work done for legal reasons. They never bothered to get me any estimates or invoices for the work, and went ahead and did the work without my approval.

    Additionally, when I reviewed my credit card bill, they put through an additional $100 charge (which I never authorized). When I called to inquire about the unknown charge, they informed me that the final bill was $195 ($95 for a service fee, and $100 for installation and product). I spoke with Anthony, and he informed me that yes the original service fee gets applied to the installation, but that the installation includes a service fee (which makes no sense to me).

    He then went on to state that when he told me the bill would be $95, that did not include any product or installation since he had no way to know how much that would cost until he spoke to his general manager, and that at the time we previously spoke, he was simply telling me the costs that he was sure of. So to sum it up, they put through unauthorized charges. They refused to actually let me know the work that they were doing. They lied about their fees (despite their online advertising saying otherwise). Finally, they refused to give me a free quote (despite their online advertising saying otherwise).

    When the Luna Flooring salesman came out, he was very nice and good. I just stayed with them and didn't look anywhere else. I bought some carpet and hardwood flooring. The hardwood was for my kitchen, dining room, and living room and the carpet was for the stairs, four bedrooms and a hallway upstairs. The flooring is nice but I had a couple of problems.

    One of the carpets that came wasn’t quite what I expected but they changed it and I received a better upgrade. My salesman followed through on his end. He also kept in contact with me and answered any problem. Then, we had the hardwood put in and the installers mentioned something I should order so I changed my order. I might have stuck with the dark color like I originally wanted if the installer had not mentioned anything. The new order's light color divides the house and I have mixed feeling about it because I have two-color floors. I think the installer's heart was where it should be. But it looks really good and they did a great job.

    They didn't do a quote on the kitchen floor. I didn't tell them I had laminate down and they had to cut it out. They charged me $228 for that because it was extra work and the guy took almost all day to do that but he did a great job. In addition, the salesman gave me extra padding and it raised the carpet up so the doors didn’t match. I have a house in Wisconsin and worked with a smaller family-run company that cut down eight doors up there for free. They got an installer who knew he had to do it. But Luna Flooring charged me an extra $200 and let somebody else cut my doors down. The guys who came and did the job were great. They did exactly what they needed to do, cut down 12 doors, and were in and out in two hours. They were also concerned and took off their shoes at the door. But I don't think I should have paid that $200 and they should add that as part of their service when doing a flooring upgrade.

    I am kind of upset that an upgrade and cutting of the doors is more than the guys who had to cut the floor. But everybody had my interest at heart, from the salespeople to the installers, and the flooring is not bad. I'd recommend talking to Luna Flooring and making sure all things are dotted and fine rather than signing right away.

    Luna Flooring helped us install carpeting and tiles in our game room, stairwell, and bathroom. I liked carpet's color and that the dirt or stains can't be seen. I had considered another company, but the salesperson had mentioned that they were under the same umbrella. He also told me that it would cost the same. The salesperson was good and he had everything we needed right there available for us. But the installers didn’t meet the time frame that they gave me. They were supposed to be there by 2:00, and they were supposed to give me a call en route. When they didn't show up, I called Luna Flooring and talked with three different people. Everybody kept putting me on hold and transferring me around until the dude finally showed up 30 minutes after the given time frame.

    We had vinyl tiles before and it was leaking. When the salesman looked at it he said that it will be okay for them to just put the tiles on top of it. But when the installer came, he said that we needed to get it repaired. We already had to wait a while to get an installation date for the tiles, and then we had to scramble to get somebody to repair it. When they came out to repair it, they said that it wasn’t that bad. Then they replaced all of it. We ended up doing a repair just to have Luna Flooring come back to install the tile. But overall, Luna was reasonable and the installation for the carpet was quick and we had to wait a while for the tile.

    One of my neighbors just had flooring done in her house by Luna Flooring and she was really happy with it. Also, compared to other companies, Luna has a much better cost. So we had them install our carpet in the living room and the tile in one of our bathrooms as well. But it would be a good idea to get either a quote sent to our email because I couldn't remember the exact price to tell my husband.

    The installers didn't take the old carpet and the padding away because it had pet pees. We have a really big living room and luckily, my brother was able to take it and cut it off. But both of installers were fantastic, especially the carpet people. I loved them. If I could get them back at my house for other rooms, I'd do it. The bathroom is really small so it didn't take them very long to work on that and the tile is pretty. Overall, Luna Flooring is really, really nice to deal with. They were very accommodating except for the carpet disposal part.

    I had laminate flooring installed in my kitchen and the cost that it came was about exactly what we thought it was going to cost. We just took a guesstimate because we looked at the product, and we looked at installing it ourselves. We tried a little part of the kitchen and it just didn’t come out right. We knew we couldn’t do it ourselves so we figured someone would have to do it, and the price that we figured product and labor-wise came exactly to what Luna Flooring charged us.

    The guys who installed it were so precise and exact, and they were exceedingly professional. My house was built in the 50's, so it is crooked and tilted and they made it come perfectly. They were also neat and friendly. So far, the flooring looks better than I expected it to look. I know a lot of people who had laminate put in and theirs looked cheap. It might have been due to the color they picked. However, this one is exceptionally nice. Other than that, when the guys laid the floor, they were afraid there wasn't going to be enough product because the salesman, who was very nice, didn't account for doorways. So, I ended up with three boards where there's usually six in case there was a mistake. They laid it with just little to spare. Overall, I was very impressed with Luna Flooring and I would recommend them.

    I had Luna Flooring install some carpeting in our bedrooms and hallway. I just needed it at the time and had a rush order for it. I liked the velvet carpeting and I noticed that even with the traffic of people going up and down the stair, the carpet doesn't go down anymore. It doesn’t show dirt either. But a week and a half after the installation, I vacuumed and carpeting threads started coming up in my vacuum cleaner. We got that all resolved last week though and my carpet still looks perfect now.     I have never written a review before, but I had to let people know of my experience, lack of professionalism, and lousy product. This is just a few of the issues...

    My experience with Luna has been a nightmare!! And still is not over!! Flooring bubbled up, flooring installed too high where I cant open the door all the way without scratching the floor, trim work not sealed all the way. The installers couldn't speak very good English so communicating with them was difficult. They set up a crockpot of Spanish food in my upstairs carpeted hallway...really?? Not to mention other situations that happen. They were unprofessional and I still do not have everything taken care of and it's been over a year since the installation. Would never recommend this company! My experience, the product, the installers...awful!!

    I had Luna Flooring install a carpet in our lower floor family room. I looked at a number of different carpet installers with their own products as well as multiple products that the Luna representative showed me and Luna's was the most cost-effective and the quality seemed to be very good. It was also not a type of carpet that was available at the other companies. The sales individual came in with a number of samples and he did his best to understand my needs, and then clarified the process as we moved forward. There were some unique items for what I was wanting and it really fit the bill. I’m very happy with it.

    I expected their installers around 8:00 but they ended up showing up around 9:00 to 9:30. But other than that, they were done within the amount of time they said, which is no more than a couple of hours. And when they arrived, they showed me a physical sample of the carpet itself and I had to really stare at it hard and asked, “Was this the carpet that I ordered?” The reason I say that is when you’re looking at a very small swatch of the carpet with only small differences amongst the type, it might create a bit of concern that the wrong stuff gets delivered and therefore gets installed. They should cut off a larger swatch when they bring it in for the owner.

    Overall, my experience was very positive. I'd tell a friend to do their homework, but for the best combination of selection and price, they’ll probably end up going with Luna Flooring, unless there’s something very particular they’re looking for. What I was going for worked out really well. I really like the color. The carpet has enough colors that it allows me to match a number of different things within the room. The stain resistance seemed to be quite good. This is separate from what I use, but I ended up upgrading the pad that was underneath. They have a recommended pad and I went with that. It’s thicker than a general pad. It’s really good and it changes how the room is experienced.

    Luna had a good price so we had them put in hardwood floor in the living room and dining room. The salesman was nice but the installers were very excellent. They were timely and it took them a day and a half to install it. They did good clean-up and they took away the old stuff so I was very pleased with everything. This was in December. My experience with Luna Flooring was very good. It’s only been a couple of weeks, but I am hoping that the floors will hold up as good as it looks now. It looks beautiful and I like the color.
