We had Luna install carpeting and laminated flooring in three rooms and a hallway. The presentation was really pleasant from the beginning to the end and the salesperson was very likable. He gave the typical sales spiel, but he wasn't too pushy. Then, the installation was quick. We saw the salesman on Thursday and it was all done by the following Thursday. Two separate crews came in and they were really efficient, confident, and knew what they were doing. Everything went smoothly. I would tell others how impressed I was and how quickly we got it done. We might have paid more than we needed to, but the end product was worth what we spent. We're pleased with the quality and they made it easy.

I filled out the information online and then Luna called. Then someone came out to talk with me and I selected the carpet and took it from there. The gentleman who came out was very good. He was thorough. He showed me several selections of what I could choose and we talked about the demand and what type of traffic that was coming in the home so we could figure out which carpet would be more durable for the home. But the installation was a little messed up. When I saw the carpet that the installers were bringing in, I told them that was not my carpet. I took a picture of it and sent it to the representative that came out and they quickly got the correct carpet in and started installing. Then from there, the installers said that I had furniture that was oversized and they couldn't move it. So in order for them to move it, they needed 75 more dollars, which I would have paid from the beginning so they could be moved. I paid that, we moved on and everything was done.

I had the dining room, kitchen, and living room done first, and I had a room that had carpet and I decided to call Luna Flooring back and get the same tile for that room. They understood my needs and worked with me on the price. Also, the installers took less time than I thought it would and was still able to come to work. I took off of work, but they were done in almost four hours. I couldn't knock on the second install. Took less than two hours. It was a perfectly square room. It was beautiful.

Great install but when we found a problem two days later, Luna was unwilling to come and fix it without charging us for an entire service visit. If we fix it ourselves or bring someone cheaper in, it will void the warranty (which should cover this). Since the warranty means nothing so you are better off going somewhere local instead.

I have been trying for a week to reach someone at Luna who can address my concerns. I have contracted for flooring throughout my apartment. Luna came one month ago, ripped out some of the existing flooring, and then said that the concrete underneath had to be repaired. They promised to send a contractor, but nothing has happened. Half of the flooring in the living room has been removed and is sitting there. I call customer service and they say that someone will contact me, but nothing happens. This is terrible customer service!
Matthew, this is not how we like to do business, and we deeply apologize for the lack of response on our end. You deserve immediate attention, and we hope we can turn this around for you. We’ve located your account and will work closely with you to rectify this matter.

From the beginning. The salesperson made false promises and drew the diagram for flooring wrong. We then had to contact her (who said she was always available and responsive within 24 hours). We did not hear from her for 2 weeks. Luna did not help. We got it figured out. The carpet installers damaged our wall.
Then hardwood flooring contractors came and said we needed to replace subfloor and if we did to call them and they would return the next day. They did not answer and never returned the call. We decided that since we were waiting anyways we would change the color, as it was too light. It took over a week to get the sales rep back out so we could get our flooring done. I had to prep the floors myself.
Finally the new contractors come. They break a bolt on my toilet and replace it with bolts that are not the correct size. They left literal poo all over the toilet. I asked them 3 times if they would be cleaning that up before they left. They said yes and did not. Then... they nailed new quarter round trim to existing quarter round. I asked him to fix it and he said he cannot because then he would have to replace the whole floor because he did not cut it properly. Apparently I would have to pay for that... He had an attitude and at the end had me sign. He said, "Sign this. It means we are done and we did not break anything..." I was nervous so I signed it. I did not want any more confrontation.
I called customer service many times through the whole thing and they were helpful and one woman was even beyond rude. They kept calling me to confirm installation before lli was ready to install and I could not get ahold of the sales woman to confirm. I asked them to stop the calls and nobody did until it had been a total of 3 weeks. One woman told me she cannot make a note in the system and I'd just have to disregard those calls. I later found out that was not true. I went through over a month of disputes. I was expected to pay before the flooring was even done and I was told by the salesperson that I did not have to pay until 30 days after TOTALLY INSTALLED.
They sent the same contractors to come fix the trim issue. They called in the morning and started yelling at us that they are not paying to fix the small bathroom and that we would have to pay and we need to call customer service. The woman handling the dispute inevitably ends up telling me that the only resolve will be that they will send someone else to fix it and they will pay for materials but we will be charged 200 for labor. DO. NOT. DO. BUSINESS. WITH. LUNA. This has caused me SO MUCH stress.
Kayla, this is definitely not the experience we'd want you or any of our customers to have, and we would like to fix this. We've located your account and will be in touch with you soon to rectify this.

I think this is a possible case of bait and switch. I was scheduled for LVP installation on April 5 with Luna. The crew showed up promptly at 8am. It went downhill from there. They placed 2 planks down for my approval prior to installing. They were clearly grey in color. I had informed the salesman during selection that I did not want grey. The installer called to tell the dispatch that I was dissatisfied. They left the house and I called the salesman to let him know the issue. He informed me he was working on it. He came to house to see if there was other planks I liked. I selected another color. Was informed it would not be available until April 26. I said that would not work. He later informed me that the manufacturer would have a delivery on 12 april. I said okay. I just needed a new contract so we could move forward. They refused which was strange and shady too. I would NOT recommend you using Luna.
Dollie, this is not the experience that we wish for our customers, and we apologize for your experience. We understand that your order has been cancelled per your request. If you continue to have questions or concerns, please get in touch with us.

Luna Flooring installed my living room carpeting. I was working with Home Depot, but they couldn't install it before the Christmas holiday. I needed it done before Christmas and Luna Flooring was able to get it done quickly for me. They were very professional and caring with what they did. They took into account all I asked them. They went over and above. I have some heavy furniture, and they were able to move it and get the job done on time.

I ordered vinyl flooring, the wood grain material-ish, from Luna Flooring and I had it installed throughout the main floor of my home. It matched the short grain wood that I had in the floor on the stairwell, the railing system in the fireplace, and the wood I had already in the house with my regular furniture. I told the reps how I wanted it and they asked me details on how I wanted the finished product to look. They came out the very next day, put it in as I made my order, and it was done in less than a day. So, I was very satisfied. They did a very professional job and I was impressed.

The sales rep was a nice gentleman. I showed him what I wanted and everything turned out good. I really like it. It was a good installation too. The group of guys that came out here did a great job. The carpeting was a little pricey though. Luna matched what Home Depot matched, but I could have gotten the carpeting for a better price. However, I haven't bought carpeting in such a long time, so maybe I just thought it should have been cheaper.

The carpet is beautiful and plush, Installers were friendly and moved as swiftly as they could. They worked a long day at my home, leaving at 9:45pm which I consider to be extremely late. They were tired and overworked, being their third job for the day. We evaluated the carpet and I noticed two areas that needed reinforcement and at this time the installer appeared frustrated which is understandable considering his long day, he fixed one area of concern and I let the other be because I felt if he attempted to fix it the carpet would look bad.
The following day when it was full day light and my mind was refreshed I noticed rippling in the carpet on the bottom of two stair landings. I contacted the company and informed them. Due to scheduling issues by Luna and 4 reschedules by Luna it took over a month for the same installer to return and fix the ripple. He denied it was him who did the work the entire visit and also told me it was nothing wrong with the carpet and he did not know what to fix. After guiding him thru the tacky work he grudgingly fixed and at this point I asked him to leave. It was not worth the headache any longer. The customer service rep I spoke to each time was very helpful and tried her best to remediate the issue but the installer was the problem, not the company.

This is my second time using Luna Flooring. The prices are good. They offer good deals. I like the payment options that were offered to me. And if they say they would be there, they would be there. We would be installed. They had different selections, and as far as color and quality, prior to this last installment, I had my basement floor done by them. That was the laminate. I have carpet put on my stairs also by Luna.
The rep was friendly and courteous. He made me feel comfortable when he provided options, and walked us through the process from beginning to end of what type of work would be done and in coming days. He explained the process, if we would finance it and what our options would be, and let us know that we would be enrolled in interest-free payments. It sounded good, and depending on what we get, it was affordable for us to go ahead and get it. That's why I keep using them. Also, we woudn't have to keep applying for credit because it had been over a year that I had the basement done. I had to requalify again, which was not a problem to open up a new line of credit.
The sales person set up the appointment while he was still here initially. They gave us a call that morning and gave us the window that they would install. And they gave us another call when they were on their way. They called to actually confirm, “Would you be available? There has to be an adult present at home.” Once they were on their way here, the installers called us again and let us know what time they would be here within 10 minutes. Three guys showed up. They did it so fast. I expected it to be longer, but they were prompt. Also, they were polite. They did what they had to do. I'm perfectly happy with my floors. The quality is great, they're low maintenance and seem to be anti-scratch resistant. I just use a Swifter mop on it. After these are paid for, I've got one more bedroom that I need done.

Go ahead and use Luna Flooring's service. They told me the day before that somebody would call before they came. But they did not call. I woke up and they were already here, 8 o'clock in the morning, which wasn't a problem, but it surprised me. They sat out in my driveway at 8 o'clock. The two gentlemen were very polite and professional. They moved our furniture for us and everything that we expected. They had a couple of problems with some of the places where the carpet met other surfaces like tiling to make a border. But they were in and out in good time. They did a good job.
Everything was good except for the problems that they had with the places where the carpet met other surfaces. They damaged some of the edges that were already there. But I was able to fix it myself. They were such hard workers and moved all the furniture. I didn't have to do one thing. They put in the floor, moved all the furniture back and cleaned up. They said it was a one day installation. I thought no way but they did it in one day. I was very impressed. It was little bit more expensive than I thought, but I wasn't that surprised 'cause I know the cost of things have gone up. Luna Flooring came in. They did the carpet. But they cut up our kitchen floor to the living room badly where it showed on the floor. They cut it too much. So, we had to call a bunch of times. Then they finally came out. They wanted to put this little steel piece over. And the steel piece would not work, of course, 'cause they cut it way too far back on the floor.
We didn't get flooring. We got carpet. So, we had to call again. Finally, one guy came out. They didn't cut it right again. And the other guy came out. He looked at it and said, "You need a piece of wood stripping to put there." And we told him, "We don't do wood strip. But you guys screwed up the carpet to the floor.” So, they wouldn't do it. This other guy came. He did it. They charged us an additional $150 for that after their mistake. I was upset about that. They should give me the 150 back.
We called and said, "Can we talk to a manager?" But nobody called us back. So, we called back again. "You guys should give us the 150 back." They wouldn't come out unless we paid them the 150 to do the stripping, which was crazy. We had carpeted the whole house, the basement, the living room, the front room and the bedrooms upstairs. I spent $13,000. But they still haven't called me back to go over that. I'm not gonna pay them that 150. They gave me a year to pay the whole thing off. I'm paying 1,100 bucks a month for 11 months. So, I don't have to pay the additional charges because they gave me one month of no service charge. If they wanna take me to collection, they can for the 150. It's ridiculous. I have a small business I've owned for 30 years. If I feel we messed up, I would pay the 150. But it was on them.

LUNA sales and installation was a smooth transaction. My disappointment started when I change my mind on the downstairs steps carpeting. The very next day I called and had several tickets open to have someone from sales come out again and assist me on my options to change the carpet from downstairs steps. The change was within 30 days of satisfaction. The sales rep advised verbally that change of carpeting would be seamless and I could pick another style of equal or less with padding included for less than $100. This would be consider a change. I had him confirm twice for that pricing and he said that's what it would be. I agreed to this.
Within a few days a received a call from Sales Office and advised that I would have to pay $430 for this change. I advised what I was told in person that it would be less than $100 and she insisted that amount was completed wrong. After a few calls back to me, the lady that quoted me $430 said she could do for $350. I still did not agree to this and still don't understand why LUNA would haggle price for a change. This to me is sketchy. I'm very disappointed and have not recommended LUNA to anyone and will not do so now or in the near future.

I had carpet and laminate floor installed in two rooms. I like it so far. I did it online, and somebody came. He was caring and super nice. He answered questions and made suggestions. It costs way too much. And as soon as it got done, I saw an advertisement online from another company, and had I seen that before Luna Flooring put your floor in, I would have went with them, only because of the cost. I paid $4,000 for two rooms. But it was great service.
Luna Flooring sent two guys. The younger guys didn't speak much English. And the older guy was more in control. The first thing was they got guys pulling everything up, and he put some tacks around the floor. I asked him if he went all way around with the new tacks, and he told me, “No, some of them didn't need to be changed.” I said, “Then some of it needs to be taken off my bill.” He said, “What are you talking about?” I said, “I'll call them and tell them I'm not paying for it. I paid for all new tacks.”
He said, “That's a complaint.” I said, “I can't help that. You can't give me not even a half, a quarter of them, and say the rest are still good, so you're not gonna change them.” He said, “Then I'll change them.” So, he changed them all. I didn't have a problem with that, but I shouldn't have had to tell him, “I paid for new tacks. Go all the way around the room with new tacks.” Also, he put two pieces of carpet, and I understand that mine is a very big living room. And in the middle of my living room is where the break is, and I watched them install that and push it together so you couldn't tell that there was a break there in the carpet. If I see anything lift up in the future, that's the only thing I'm skeptical about. Other than those two issues, the job was wonderful. I was happy with the installation.
When they were done, the older put stuff in the truck and told the younger guy to clean up. That clown swept the laminate floor, dust and everything, onto the carpet. I said, “What are you doing?” He said that he would just vacuum it up off the floor. “No, you just gave me a brand new carpet. You don't sweep dirt onto carpet to vacuum it.” The younger guy did it after the older guy left. So, he knew what he was doing and pretended he couldn't know what I said because I talked English and he spoke Spanish, but I know he understood. So once we got past that barrier, everything went well.

I called Luna Flooring ahead of time and asked for a price and they said they couldn’t do that and would have to take measurements. I said they could come out but it’s a waste of their time if their price range is out. I have no frame of reference for what flooring even costs. The rep came in and took forever. He was not responding to my questions and not even speaking words back to me. He just kept waiting for the tablet to load. The whole time, I was asking him what the price was gonna be and the price per square foot. I measured myself beforehand so I could give him a close tape measure number but he couldn't give me any pricing. He finally gave me the number and it was way out of my price range. I couldn’t possibly afford it. It was more than double what I was expecting. But the price wasn't the real price, so he was going back and forth with the office. His phone was not working.
In the end, the price he gave me was less than half of what the original price was. The whole time, he was asking if I like these carpets and I was trying to get him out of there. I told him to stop showing me carpets. He could show me the least expensive carpet or leave. And he wouldn't do that. Then finally, he gives me a quote that's one-third. The first quote he gave me was 6,000 and it ended up being 2,300. I ended up going with it because the ending numbers were right in line with what I was expecting from looking at other places and doing a tape measure measuring throughout the apartment to start with. And 45 minutes in, we eventually just scheduled it. We had this horrible interaction when he could have just given me this price. That was exactly what I wanted from the start and what I thought was reasonable. And they put the floors in. The installation was totally fine and the carpets look good.
Brian, we take your feedback seriously and will treat this as a learning experience. After all, there is always room for improvement. We hope you are enjoying your new flooring! Thank you.

Luna Flooring put in vinyl plank flooring in my living room and hallway. Their cost is higher than other companies but they have a lifetime warranty on the floor. I was at work when the floor got installed and I'm still arguing with them about the installation. The floor that they put in is nice but they just didn't finish the job. The house had oak transitions, a transition that goes to a tile floor over in the dining room from where the floor was that they put down, and a ceramic transition that goes into the mudroom to go outside. They tore all of the oak transitions out and never put a transition back in. It's been two months and I still don't have transitions in the house from one room to another.
I talked to one woman who was supposed to be the install lady and she told me to send me pictures so that they know what they need and she gave me an email address. Every time I sent an email to send her pictures, they wouldn't go through. I contacted the salesman whose name is Charlie and I told him about it. He told me to send him the pictures and he'd forward them to her. He did and she said that they had tried to reach out to me but we haven't had any contact. How could she ask me for the pictures if we didn't have any contacts? I still have not heard from anybody.
Also, they put a quarter round down, which is fine, except I got oak baseboards and they put a white quarter round down. Then, they smeared all this caulk all over it, which I get is to fill in the gap between the quarter round and the baseboard, but there was so much caulk. The guy who was painting wouldn't paint it. I ended up spending $600 on new trim for the room they put the quarter round down just so we could get it finished. The floor is beautiful, though, and they did a nice job putting the floor down.

They didn't give a time that they were coming for the installation. They said they could show up any time after 7:00 am so I had my cats locked up from 7:00 in the morning. I kept calling to get times and nobody showed up until 4 o'clock. Two people showed up at first and started ripping up the carpet. Then, another two guys showed up. But one of the guys was taking his time. One was cutting rugs and the other was sitting down on his cell phone. They were cutting the rug in the middle of the street and every time a car came down, they would have to move the rug. Also, it was very hard with one guy because he didn't speak English and we had to call somebody to translate for us. But he was really nice. It took until 9 o'clock that night to do one big living room and a staircase. Other than that, the carpet is beautiful. They did a fantastic job and I love the carpet. Also, the cost was great. But I probably wouldn't go back to Luna to have another room done.

I knew what I wanted and the salesperson was very informative on the different types of flooring that would work for that and had the samples that I needed to see to make the correct choice. The price is fair, and I love the flooring I chose. It's a composite, hardwood-type, and it took five hours to install in one room. It was awesome. The installers were very polite and informative. They were also respectful of my home. I've recommended Luna. I've used them before as well. I had some rental properties and I had carpet installed. The quality of the carpet was good, and the install looked great. They thoroughly cleaned the empty rental unit. There was no mess left behind, and it's a big part of it. "Please don't leave another mess for me."

The sales rep, Scott, was excellent. Everything after that was extremely disappointing. Installer initially refused to fill in areas of the floor that were just subflooring. My contractor had to come over and convince the installer (who barely spoke English) to fill in the areas so the floor would be level. After it was done, if you step on that area of the floor that he 'filled in', your foot sinks down. All I heard from the installer is what he couldn't and wouldn't do. I had to pay him $100 (which Luna reimbursed me for, thanks to the woman who did that - I forgot her name) to cover other areas of the floor with the vinyl plank (the entire floor was not covered where some cabinets stood). When you get to a job site and discover the floor is not prepped to the installer's expectation, do your job as a flooring company and FIX IT!!! That's what you do...FLOORING. While the floor looks good, I know where the flaws are and have to live with it.

I liked the salesperson from Luna. The flooring went in my kitchen. He gave me two choices. He had samples and the one that I chose looked really nice and it was on sale. The installation went great. The only problem was they didn't level my dishwasher. I didn't realize until the next day when I went to use my dishwasher and I opened it up and it hadn't been leveled. I had called Luna about it and nothing was done. I never heard anything back. Other than that, the installers were great. They were neat and tidy. They were pleasant. They did a great job. I love the quality of the flooring. I was very happy. In fact, I've recommended Luna to several people.

I would encourage anyone considering Luna Flooring or Empire Today (same company apparently) to RUN AWAY AS FAST AS YOU CAN. This company has been horrible from start to finish. The BIGGEST issue being that we paid 28k in full by check, they cashed it and then 3 weeks later deposited it AGAIN as an electronic check deposit. We sat on hold for 2+ hours and never received a call back from their customer service team like they said we would to address being charged TWICE. We eventually had to go through Bank of America's FRAUD department, and they reversed the second electronic charge. We never heard back from Luna about this second charge.
Their sales person was polished, but after the fact we realized clearly had no appropriate training for taking measurements or understanding what can and cannot be done. We were told quarter round trim would be no problem, that our floors were level and would be no problem, that a closet that was not finished and needed a door, would be no problem to run new LVP flooring over threshold. Installers came out, none spoke English except a a very young teenage boy with compromised hearing, who did his best to translate so we had language barriers trying to make payment by check. It took an hour before they would start work because of this.
The install was messy, we had glue all over a closet, with jagged cut edges of flooring showing under a minuscule threshold. The installers told us opposite of the sales guy, that quarter round trim wouldn’t work, and we needed at least 4” moulding, which they didn’t have with them. The second closet they ran flooring inside of it but left the threshold bare with no flooring because apparently their install team are subcontractors and could not be expected to cut the closet framing on floor to run the new floor all the way through, something the sales guy should have pointed out and informed us BEFORE install began.
One of our stairs started coming loose within a month. We finally got them to come back out to fix these issues, but the company refused to have them redo the second closet. They also told us that the manufacturer of the floor has no wide transition pieces, nor would they give us the manufacturer information to contact on our own. So if anything ever goes wrong again with this flooring, we’re out of luck and unable to get replacement pieces.
Nancy, we are so sorry to hear you had installation issues. This is not how we like to do business, and we want to turn this around for you. We've located your account and will contact you soon to resolve this.

I made the mistake of the year in signing my hardwood installation with Luna. Luna lacks transparency and are plainly lazy, they exploit their client's lack of knowledge about the flooring, they don’t communicate well with their contractors, they give conflicting and damaging advise all around, they convince you to place a deposit refundable only in 3 days, and they delay the construction so that they can tie you down with your deposit. When you confront them, they threaten to cancel the contract and that your deposit is no refundable.
Here’s my full story:
They have been terrible from the very first step. When the salesperson came to give me a quote, he convinced me that I should give them a 25% deposit and that I can cancel it in three days no questions asked. Naturally I scheduled the installation on the fourth day. When the contractors came, they told me that they won't be able to install hardwood because their nails are too long and would reach the concrete underneath the plywood. (They also said that they weren’t told about fixing any plywood which was something I signed in the contract). They later convinced me to remove all of my existing plywood and install engineered hardwood directly on top of the concrete. I agreed but after a few back and forth cancellations both from my and their end.
Different contractors came with engineered hardwood completely different than what the salesman led me to believe, the color was different, the thickness was as thin as paper, and the width was 5”, my whole house used 3.25” for reference. The thickness brought was also much different than what I signed in the contract. I was told that changing from hardwood to engineered would bear “no noticeable difference” and that the thickness and width is “similar”. Not to mention the contractors told me that I shouldn’t place it directly on concrete and that plywood subfloor is better— the exact opposite of what the salesman and the previous contractor told me.
I’ve honestly never been forced to stay with a company that will not do the work!!! Yes I rescheduled myself a few times but even on the times they came, they would bring up a whole new excuse that is the exact opposite of what the person before them said. I demand to get my full deposit of 1497$ back, I will not be extorted through my deposit. Whoever is reading this, my name is ibra **, my number is **, if you have any questions let me know. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! And don’t believe those positive reviews.
Ibra, we regret to hear about your experience. We take matters such as this very seriously and will be in touch with you shortly to discuss your concerns.

I am writing to express my utmost dissatisfaction with the poor installation I received from Luna Flooring; and the follow up customer service and failure to uphold the warranty. As a customer, I had high expectations for the quality of service and professionalism, which unfortunately were not met. On 8/8/2023, I contacted Luna Flooring to file a claim against the warranty because of poor installation. The representative that I initially spoke with appeared knowledgeable and assured me of Luna’s support. However, the lack of support and failure to honor the warranty has left me deeply disappointed and frustrated.
Firstly, the communication throughout this entire process has been abysmal. I experienced repeated delays in receiving responses to my inquiries, both via phone and email. It is unacceptable to be left waiting for days without any update or clarification, especially when making a significant investment in a product and service. Furthermore, the installation team that was sent to my property displayed a lack of professionalism and attention to detail. The workmanship exhibited was far below the standards I expected. Moreover, they exhibited a careless attitude while handling the flooring materials, resulting in visible damage to several pieces. The lack of respect for my property was evident, and the overall quality of the installation was subpar.
As a result, the flooring in my kitchen is lifting, peeling, visibly warped and chipped throughout; and coming up after only 36 months. According to the warranty it is supposed to be for 50 months. They wanted to charge me almost $200 just to come look at the problem; and even more to fix it. I paid upwards of $10,000 for my flooring and a lifetime warranty. https://www.luna.com/luna-service-plan.
Additionally, the post-installation support and follow-up have been severely lacking. Despite bringing these concerns to the attention of Luna Flooring's customer service department, I have yet to receive a satisfactory resolution or any indication that my concerns are being taken seriously. This disregard for customer satisfaction is highly disappointing and does not reflect the professionalism and integrity that I expected from such a reputable company.
April, we're disappointed to hear that you're unhappy. We understand that our team offered the best outcome possible. If you would like to move forward, please let us know.

We made the absolute mistake of using Luna for a near $15,000.00 flooring job in our home. Every step of this process has been a NIGHTMARE. We went with Luna a SECOND time because aside from an installer trying to collect a balance despite me paying in full on the day of the sale, the salesperson and installation were great for the carpeting in our rental property, and that issue was resolved swiftly. I’ve had no issues with the carpeting installed in January 2023. So despite Luna being significantly more than other some other companies, we went with them for this project because of previous experience, the fact Luna uses their own installers (which we’ve found out is a lie), and the company’s reputation and guarantees. I am going through a high-risk pregnancy, and my husband was recently diagnosed with stage 5 kidney disease, and we just wanted the job to be done professionally with no issues. That shouldn’t be a hard ask when you’re spending almost $15k!!
The salesperson, Carla was nice but made an error on the contract and selected 12 months instead of the 48 months we requested. Also, due to the time of day, she said the total contract price would be adjusted in the morning with the additional discounts agreed to. She sent us an email confirming this would be done (customer service at Luna refuses to view this email despite being offered the email several times). I contacted Wells Fargo, and it was never corrected and is still reflecting 12 months. They told us we had to contact Luna and, if they don’t fix it, to call Wells Fargo back to open a dispute on Luna. This is absolutely unacceptable.
Moving on to the day of LVP installation. When they got here on the day of installation, we were told by the install manager that we needed to pay an additional $7,178.00 for a new 1/4-inch subfloor underlayment. I told him no. He immediately said they could do it for $3,500.00. I still said no. He told me that he would call his manager and call back. The installers went out to their van and waited for an hour before coming back in with the install manager on the phone. He then said the best they could do was $2,500.00. I called my husband and tried to discuss the information so we could make a decision with the installation manager. The installer decided to start talking over me, complaining that we were wasting his time and that if we couldn’t afford it, we needed to figure it out and set this up for a different day. This was not an issue of afford - it’s the issue of an hour ago, you just told us we needed to pay $7,178 on top of the $12k+ we were already paying for the flooring, and now it’s magically dropped down to $2,500. The install manager apologized, and we agreed to the $2,500.00 and made the required payments.
The installer proceeded to explain to me that he has to pay the guy that was with him regardless of if they do an install, and since it looked like we weren’t going to get it done, he wanted not to be held up any longer so they could do other work for the day because they are a 3rd party to Luna. Quite frankly - when you are asking for an extra $7k for subfloors that we specifically asked about and told that it *probably* wouldn’t be an issue, you’re not going to rush me. Had I not said no to the higher offers from Luna we would’ve paid almost $5k extra! That is not an insignificant amount! The LVP install was completed on day 3. The actual LVP install itself was satisfactory. The installers damaged a table and shattered the light in my laundry room. Per the contract they’re not responsible for your personal items like the light fixtures in your house so just know those will likely be broken along with any furniture they move around to do the installation.
On the day of Carpet installation a different installer who claimed to be a Luna employee came out. He was pleasant and did a good install; however, he asked me to pay an additional $2,584.21. I told him we had already financed $12,614.47 and paid $2,300, which totaled the full price of both installations for a total agreed contract price of $14,914.47 (this included an additional $225 we agreed to for odor treatment before they told us we needed new sub-flooring so that service was never done - more on that in a moment). He said that *I* needed to call Luna because his install manager told him he had to collect the money.
I called customer service. I was told to call Carla. I called Carla, no answer. I text her. While I was waiting, the installer was asking what was going on. I said I’m waiting for the salesperson. I called customer service back, they said I must talk to Carla. I explained to them that I literally have this installer sitting on my stairs waiting to get started and Carla is not available so someone else has to be able to help. They said they would reach out to her. She text me back stating it was her day off and called the necessary people to let them know we didn’t owe anything extra. The actual carpet install itself was completed satisfactorily.
On the day of the LVP install, I realized the odor treatment was still on the invoice which we were told was $225 - this was later confirmed via text as well. Customer service said they would contact me back. I also asked Carla about it. Carla said this would be removed and credited back to Wells Fargo and that she would request an updated contract to be sent to us. I was called today and told that only $159.23 is getting credited back to the Wells Fargo account. Additionally, I was told by customer service that there was no way to send an updated contract even through they had ZERO issue sending a contract change email to us for the extra $2,500 underlayment.
To this day we are waiting for someone to contact us back about changing the Wells Fargo terms to 48 months. This needs to be resolved immediately! They’ve had June 7th to correct this. Luna has been an absolute nightmare to work with and I would never EVER use them again for any project nor recommend anyone I know to entrust their projects with them.
Sheila, this is definitely not the experience we'd want you or any of our customers to have, and we would like to fix this. We've located your account and will contact you soon to rectify this.

SCAM ARTISTS!! If there was an option to give less than one star I would. Luna sent a salesperson to my home for an estimate and he proceeded to lie about every single perk they offered.
2. Product I picked was waterproof - I only selected this because of this feature which also does not exist.
3. Was told that what I was buying was top-tier and could not get any better. I found out that in fact, this was middle of the road for a top price.
I called Luna because I found dents in one of my "dent-proof" boards a week after install only to find out that the dent warranty did not exist. And not only that the product was water resistant. This was not acceptable. I told them I have not used my basement since install and this damage was most likely from the installation process. They responded by sending warranty information and nothing else in an email. I was not expecting a full refund or anything close. But an acknowledgment that the sales team lied about almost everything, and to pay a fair price for the product that was put in. This type of false representation of their product is most certainly illegal. I would warn anyone looking at flooring companies to look elsewhere.

We had engineered hardwood flooring installed in the living room, dining room, kitchen set, hallway, and laundry room. The installation was crazy. It wasn't the same experience I had when I use your previously used Luna. It was a bad experience because when he got here, he quoted one price, but the salesperson quoted another price. I never got the salesman's number, so then I had to call the 1-800 number. That was a mess. When I called 1-800, they said the same price as the installer said. The lady was able to find the salesperson, and he called me, he told him that, "No, that's not the price." So he was able to give me the price that he quoted after he talked to the installer. But the installer to me, he acted like he really didn't wanna do the job.
When the installer came, he said, "Oh, I can't do your powder room. You supposed to have removed your pedestal sink." But the guy that came here didn't tell me I needed to move my pedestal sink. Then the installer went upstairs in my laundry room and said, "Oh, you supposed to have unhooked yyour washer and dryer. We can't do it." I was never told about that too.
I talked to the salesperson and he said, "No, you can still do it. You can do it." Then the installer said, "Well, okay, we'll just lift it up. And if water and stuff get on the floor, it's not our fault or whatever." The salesperson and the installer had a back and forth. Then I asked the installer, "Can you just put it in the pantry?" So then he measured the pantry and said, "Oh, the pantry is bigger than the powder room." I told him, "No, it's about the same or whatever." But he ended up doing it. I like the quality of the work. The quality was good. The installers were professional out there. If they wanna use the bathroom, they asked, and they took a short lunch break. All of that was cool. I love my floors. I would still recommend Luna. I'm gonna use them again.

Sales presentation and sales associate Jason were very informative and thorough. Our installers did an amazing job with our floors and even replaced a door for us, although they were a bit like bulls in a china shop. We have a hole in our wall at the front door and still have dust throughout out our house. Our issue is with the stairs, we were sold on flush stairs (which cost us extra) that we did not receive. Our installers said with this material there's no way to do. Also the stairs are two pieces, which has created another issue, our stairs sound like bubble wrap when walking on.
I contacted customer service and they set an appointment to send someone out to fix our stairs and to see about getting a refund for the upgraded flush stairs we did not receive. Made an appointment for the first Wednesday after install, unfortunately no one ever came. Customer service said they would look into the refund and call me back, which never happened. The installers were very professional and accommodating. They were quick and thorough. They got it done relatively quickly and it looks good. Dee was the rep that I worked with and she was amazing. It was a good experience. It was comparable prices and a quick turnaround. The only thing that I was not okay with was the lack of communication between the team that was supposed to work with me for the financing option. But other than that, the sales rep and the installers had it together.
I had let Dee know that I would be financing it. So there was a deposit and I said, “Well, no. I wanna finance the whole amount.” Then an individual from Luna called and said, “Okay. Yeah. That's fine. We can do that. Someone will call you to confirm.” But that call never happened. It was supposed to have happened prior to the flooring being installed. So I called Dee the day before the install was happening and asked, “Hey, I never heard about the financing. Where do we stand with that?” She said, “They never got back to you?” I said, “No.”
We had to go through this whole debacle. It was the day of the install, and the installers were on their way. Dee and I had to get together that morning to go through everything because we had to be together in order to do the financing and get it taken care of over the phone. So, that was a bit annoying. But because Dee was so outstanding and she made the time, we got it done. Luna was able to install it several hours later. But had the financing department not dropped the ball on that, we wouldn't have had to do all that.

The guys that did it were very nice, very respectful of the house, and they put down everything to protect everything in the house. They were very nice and got in and got out and just did their thing. As far as the new flooring, the quality has been pretty good. They had to come back yesterday because a seam had popped.
The only negative thing is when I contacted the sales guy about the problem I had with the seam, he responded to me immediately, but then I could not get a response from anyone else to schedule a date for it to be fixed. He contacted me multiple times saying that he had contacted other people that were above him to get it fixed or resolved. Then, all of a sudden, they didn't ask me what date I wanted, they just told me what date they were gonna come. So, I had to recall and reschedule a day that worked for me. I just thought that was a little weird that they didn't even contact me to figure out when they could fix it. It was all positive other than the weird scheduling.

I love the product that I got from Luna. The married couple that came here laid the flooring and they left the house in perfect condition. I would recommend them highly to anybody. I even went out and bought lunch for them because they were working so hard. I wanted them to take a little break. The wife knew exactly what her husband needed. She cut all of his molding, which was wonderful. The husband initially thought it would be a three-hour job. But with all the transition points, it took them six hours. He was an artist when it came to putting in the molding. He did an absolutely beautiful job, and anybody who comes in just raves about what he has done.
I have only one complaint, and that is with the salesperson who came here. I said to the man, "I'm not getting hardwood, I'm getting vinyl." He said, "No, you would never put lipstick on a pig." He was referring to my house as a pig, and you would never put hardwood on it. I have a lovely home. When I got the evaluation, I gave Luna all the extremes. But I gave him a lower remark. He seemed to be somebody who's been doing this for a long time and very secure in himself. But when he made that comment, I will not forget the audacity of that individual to say that to my face till the day I die. I didn't ask him to leave because I wanted the job done as soon as possible. So I endured that.

He had intimate knowledge of doing this with many other clients. He suggested carpets that were in the right price range and he suggested colors and it all worked out. The installers did the carpet very quickly. They didn't scratch up the walls. The tile guys came in on another day. Again, very efficient and quick, too. They all did a very great job. I would use Luna again and I would never call another company. Everything was great. It was way better than I would have ever expected.

The Luna Flooring representative had come in and let me see samples. He explained everything to me. He explained very well the texture of the one I got. I have a dog, and he goes, "This is the carpet for you to get." He was excellent. He recommended the best lining and the padding. He said that this was the best. If the dog would have an accident, all I had to do is get my shampoo and it will come right up. It wouldn't have any smell. I love my carpet. It made my house lighten up. I wouldn't trade it for the world. Luna has been really good to me.

Updated on 03/16/2023: On March 14th I wrote my horror story on this site about the horrific experience with Empire TOday/Luna and the company responded with an apology and that someone would be in touch with me. Well I am still waiting. This truly is a bad company!!!!
Original Review: I finally get to tell my horror story with Luna, which is the same company as Empire Today. I initially was going to have Luna install vinyl, so-called Luxury planks flooring for my home. On the day of installation they brought this piece of cardboard junk to install. The installer told me I would have caulking underneath my doorways because I had existing hardwood floors and carpeting and it would not look good. This came after their installer's recommendation which was NOT to install this vinyl plank because it was cheap. He even mentioned that customers of Empire had complaints over this flooring.
After hearing this report we decided not to go with the vinyl luxury planks. My husband and I called the sales representative who had come to our home and we let him know we were not going to go forward with the installation, he became very angry saying to me that he had told me there was going to be caulking. I told him I was not about to remove my wood floors for cardboard. I asked him how much would it be to upgrade to hardwood flooring, he then changed his tune and said he would come by the next day to show me samples. He first tried to talk me into hard-wood flooring similar to what I already had (which we ordered) and then I changed my mind.
The samples they give you are not very big but I finally chose one. This salesman failed to tell me that this type of flooring would stain easy, and that you can see every speck and crumb. This salesman got on his iPad and his phone and told me we were approved for the upgrade in financing. Two days later he calls me to tell me that he didn't know what happened but we need to apply for the difference and we needed to call Wells Fargo. We called Wells Fargo and they did another credit check which now my husband had 2 dings go on his credit report. This was unnecessary. I complained later to customer service with this complaint that the day they were to install the new hardwood flooring, they were not coming because they didn't have all the wood to do the job. Thus, it was scheduled 3 weeks later.
By this time, I was so upset because we had move so much of our belongings to be ready for them to install. I called customer service and they gave us a discount and they told me they would send their best installer for the hardwood flooring which was on November 25th (the day after Thanksgiving). Well on that day their best installer did not come. They had sent someone else and their team. The work was completed on December 3rd (it took 4 visits). These installers did a horrific job. I have nicks and scratches with lifted planks and big gaps along with loose flooring and visible nails in many places. When the work was completed my husband signed the paper that the work was completed but pending a walk through because I wasn't home.
I have been in contact with a lady name Coreena from Empire Today, and have have made numerous calls to her. Coreena has been the only one who has cared. I was so unhappy with the work from the installers and insisted in speaking with their regional manager. Coreena spoke with him and he gave me an additional discount. I was told by Coreena that the installers would come back and fix all that needed to be repaired. (I also spent $2500 on their warranty). The date was set for the installers to come and fix their mess and that Monday I get a phone call that they are not coming because they did not load (the necessary wood) on the truck for the job and they said they would come the next day. (This was a voicemail). I frantically tried calling them back, I made many phone calls and I finally got someone and they set the date for Thursday (same week).
Finally the installer arrived. The one who did the work. He started taking pictures. (I had sent many other pictures to Coreena.) I was under the presumption that he was going to start working and he tells me he was there to do an inspection. Why on earth would they send the same person who did a lousy job to come inspect his poor workmanship. He stepped outside my house and made a phone call, then came back to tell me that Luna would be in touch with me. I was furious! I called Coreena again and complained because I thought he was there to fix the lousy job he did and his team.
Also, I forgot to mention that during the installation they left tons of nails and staples all over my driveway and lawn where they were cutting the wood. (We had to hire someone to clean up the mess of nails). So again I call Coreena and now they send an installation manager to come and inspect the floors. He took some pictures and even mentioned they might have to do the work over. I answered and said to him all I want is a job well done. This installation manager said Coreena would be in touch with me by Tuesday or Wednesday to let me know what they were going to do.
Well, I finally got an email from Coreena after attempting to reach her all last week and she mentioned that it was now up to the Customer Service Manager how this will be corrected. What a nightmare this has been! This was a major job that was priced at $28,897. $1600.00 for two small rooms (carpeting and tile), and the rest for the hardwood floors. Whether the job is $29,000 or $24,000, what diference does it matter when you aren't satisfied with the job they did in any case.

I liked the flooring that looks like wooden pieces you put together. The Luna Flooring salesman that came had the perfect one and he had a computer thing program on his tablet that he put that floor in our kitchen and in our dining room with the furniture. The way he did that was so neat. However, he had no personality and he did not measure right. So, when they came to put the flooring down, they did not have enough trim. We put this rubber instead of doing the wood strips like you normally put around the edges like we did in the dining room. They call it cord around. We went with the rubber in the kitchen part because of it being so wide under our cabinets and it started to come apart. So, I texted him and asked, "Am I supposed to call Luna's customer service and let you know we have a problem?" He texted me back, "Don't call **." That was his last name. That was rude. He could have said, "I'm not the person you contact. This who you should call." So, I wasn't impressed with the salesman.
Installation day, they called and said they were on their way. They would be here by such time and they were. Neither one of them spoke good English, which we expected because we've had flooring put down before and that tends to be what we always end up with. They did a good job except there were a few things that they acted like they didn't know how to finish it and there was a call back over it. One of the things is we had carpet in the dining room and living room both. So, a split had to be made between the dining room and the living room.
Instead of cutting it straight, putting the carpet and put a border strip on the top, they cut it and tucked the padding under the carpet back under. My carpet lifted because it's a big bump. So, not happy about that. The rubber base stripping is coming loose at two places. The one sticks out. Those were the two main things. They're coming back tomorrow.
My roommate did not like the price and we're not happy with the installation because this will be their second comeback. Because the first time, they didn't have enough trim, so they had to come back and finish it which would disrupt my whole day because they told me they would be there between 8:00am and 6:00pm. I like to be here too because between my roommate and I, we see things that the other one didn't see that we wanna make sure is done right. But we love the floor.

We purchased luxury vinyl planks. Luna Flooring was the first company that we called and their pricing was equivalent to what it was the year prior, so we were already prepared, and they had flooring that we liked. I had some questions prepared prior to the sales gentleman coming out, and he answered all my questions about cleaning. He talked to us about how to take care of the flooring. There were some that I had looked on their website that he told me it wasn't necessary. It was too high of a grade for what my needs were, to try to help save some money. He gave his input but allowed the choice to be mine, which is exactly what I would have expected from a sales person. I saved that guy’s number because I said when I'm ready to do my next floor, we had such a good experience, I would like to mimic it with the same people.
The installers were a two-person crew, a female and a male. The lady seemed to be the head of the crew and did the majority of the interactions and made sure she showed us the product that we chose, and made sure we were okay with it. She wanted to make sure that we understood what we were doing, the amount of time it would take. We had a few questions about the preparedness of our home already with dust and items in closets. And they were very straightforward. It was the two people on day one, and they came back on day two but brought two other additional people to finish up, because they came Friday and didn't want to leave it for Monday.
We had one setback because they had told us we needed a different subfloor thickness than the one that was quoted. So, I was prepared for this bait and switch. But I texted our sales person, they took care of it. The people were respectful. There's one piece of trim that they put in my dining room that had a seam in the middle of the wall, which is the only aspect that I would have said something if I noticed it for earlier, but it's not that big of a deal.

I called Luna to get vinyl plank flooring. I showed the salesperson my lower level basement and the areas that were difficult to provide flooring, and were it was not level. The salesperson stated that the installer could definitely put flooring with no problem. They could go around the furnace etc. I asked him several times if he was sure because I did not want to see the old flooring at all and I wanted to make sure they could do everything so if looked professional. He said yes.
The installer is here at my home now. He is doing excellent work however he cannot do what the salesperson promised. The salesperson told me what I wanted to here so I would sign the contract! Also I found out today I need to pay the balance before they even install the floor. Nothing in the contract stated this nor did the salesperson mention this. I had to pay in full before it was installed!!!! I called the salesperson and Luna to see if I can do two different floors in my laundry room and they said yes. Now another person from Luna said they can't. If you are thinking of going with Luna do not go with them!!! You will be sorry. The good thing I have to say is the installer was excellent on what he was able to do. He is from Ukraine has has an excellent work ethic. Do not go with Luna. They are a bunch of liars!!!!

The work crew started on a Monday, finished on a Wednesday, and the quality of work is top shelf. However, we're still trying to get used to the sound change and the house. They assured me the hardwood was the same. Well, they lied. They installed red oak hardwood and my existing hardwood was white oak.
Luna Flooring management refuses to take responsibility for their mistake and flat out lie. So, now I am stuck with paying to have the hardwood replaced by a reputable and legitimate flooring company. The installers denied doing this, despite having never noted it on the initial walkthrough. Luna did not do anything to resolve this issue and we had to file a claim with the installer's insurance company. After a lot of phone calls and headaches, nothing was done to resolve the issue. The insurance company took the side of their client (the subcontracted installers), who completely lied and claimed that we told them that our dog chewed that piece of vinyl flooring. For a deposit this rep took my wife’s card and asked her to sign the document without asking her to review it and directly scrolling down to the last page where it says sign. And you are done. And now when we want to cancel the order they want to fork out 25% cancellation fees. And they say, "You sign the contract. Check your email, everyday 100s of email are there in your inbox you don’t go through it all." When I was looking at other brands, they were giving me something called a 60-pound per square inch. The Luna sales rep gave me a carpet of 48 pounds per square inch.
I have zero knowledge of how a carpet is evaluated. I only go with the look and feel. As a consumer, I would also look at the cost. Whichever falls short or reasonable enough, I will go with that. On the whole, the Luna sales representative was excellent and so was the implementation team. But if they don't tell the customer about the product he is buying, it would be very hard for him to understand.

I scheduled with the salesperson, but the installers didn't show up in the time frame that I had. They called me once and said it was gonna be another time frame. I stayed home all day thinking it was gonna be done till late in the evening and I was told, "We could still come." The guy said they had problems with the other house they were at. I didn't want some guy that was tired and already frustrated from a house that they've already been working and they had a hard time with to come and try to do my work at 7:00 at night. They said they went ahead and scheduled me for the next day. I wound up calling the salesman back. He didn't have anything to do with that, but he said to give him a call back if it didn't get done the next day. I didn't have to call him back though.
The installers came out the next day and installed my flooring. They did a great job. The only thing is the picture of the floor seemed lighter prior to being installed then after install, it seemed like it was much darker, but maybe that was just the lighting. We have wood floors downstairs in my foyer, kitchen, bathroom and hall. The luxury vinyl and wood floors feel different. I'm used to the wood floors, then I feel the texture, but it's good. The texture of those floors have to be discussed since it's in a bathroom and you don't want something really slippery. It makes sense that it was a different texture, but that caught me off guard too. I was thinking more like the real wood floors that I had in the other part of the house.

Luna Flooring is a good outfit. They're dependable, and they back what they say. I wanted go with them because they would do one room then one for $50. But I didn’t do the extra room for $50 because it was their carpet to select from. There wasn’t much to select from and I wanted the carpet that I wanted. But the rep was excellent. She came in, showed us the carpeting, and we decided we’d go with the one we chose. The installation was excellent. They were in and out of here in four hours. I was pleased that they got it done and got out quick enough. They did everything perfectly. I had everything emptied out so it would be light. They moved it all around, took it out on the porch, and were very careful with everything.

They came on a Saturday and it's not that big so they finished it up rather quickly. It was done by the afternoon. The quality of work is good, although there is one little spot that looks like it's kind of coming up. But other than that, it's very nice.

I called them and made an appointment for an in-home estimate. They sent a very knowledgeable and professional gentleman to us. He went through what Luna offers and we chose the carpeting we wanted. He did all he had to do to get it moving and arranged for it to be installed. They sent the installers and those guys were fantastic. They were the hardest-working men I've ever come across when it comes to putting down some carpet. This is the best carpeting I've gotten from Luna because the first time the carpeting was installed at a different address, that carpeting was terrible. But this time, it's really nice carpeting in here.

In the beginning, I was very happy with my carpet, after all, I am a repeat customer, first with Empire and now with Luna. I purchased low pile carpet, as I did not want traditional carpet as it tends to look worn out in high traffic areas. The problem with this low pile carpet is that you can see all of the seams, especially in my bedroom, there is a huge line that runs straight down the middle of the room.
I called customer service, they sent a crew out and they tried to repair the carpet, with no luck. I called again and emailed multiple pictures, then they sent a supervisor out, he examined the carpet and determined that they would need to redo the seam. Well, it's been almost six weeks and now I cannot get anyone to call me back. I left multiple messages for the rep that I was working with (Erin), she has not returned any of my calls. I also called customer service. I was told that they would elevate the my call and someone would call me back within 24 hours, it's been over a week and no one has called me back. I am so disappointed, I wish I would have gone to a traditional store, so times convenience is not worth it.

When I first reached out to Luna, a salesperson set up an appointment with me to come to the house to review materials and see what we wanted to have done. It was quick and easy. The cost was about what we were expecting it to be for the quality of the product that we wanted. The installation was also fast. It was within a week or two based on our schedule of when we were available to have them come. It took a while for them to install, but it was a big space. It’s not a square room. It has cutouts and the stairs are curved. So, it was a complicated project. But they got it all installed in that one day. So far, everything is holding up great and we're really pleased.

Our flooring was 10 years old and the carpet was buckling. We decided that we would want laminate in the closets, like a hard surface, instead of carpet. We got a few quotes. Luna Flooring was not the cheapest, but the salesman said that they could do our closets. Because we have California closets, they're a little bit harder to work around. But he was confident that they would be able to install the laminate.
The sales experience was great. The salesman was very nice and he was very good at understanding what I was looking for and was able to bring the appropriate samples out of his car, and we were very quickly able to arrive at the products that I wanted. He was a good reader of what customers wanted. Within terms of colors, just within a few minutes, he figured out what it was that I was trying to do.
The installation process, for me, was a nightmare, though. It was at that point that I wished I had never given them the contract. The salesman told me that in order to put the carpet in, I'd have to have all the furniture out of the room. My husband and I disassembled everything the night before installation, put it all in the hallway. Then, when the installers came, they said, "No, you should never have done this. Now, it's going to create more work for us." They almost said they weren't going to install it because there were so many things in the hallway. But we thought we were helping them by disassembling everything and putting it out of the room. The communication was really poor. The sales team and the installation team clearly don't talk. Then, they installed the carpet. That was not a big deal. But then, they told me that a different team would come and install the laminate. That was fine and we picked a different day.
Unfortunately, every time they would send somebody to install the laminate, the people would come and take a look at the closet and say, "This can't be done." That happened three different times. I had to take three days off work to have people come and install laminate. Every time they came, they would leave saying, "Wait, this can't be done." It took me all the conversations with customer service. Because every time they would leave, somebody would call and reschedule and say the next team could definitely do this and they were sorry that it happened and they would send another team. Twice, they sent the same team, which if they were taking notes, they would understand not to send the same people to the same house a second time that had already denied the project. Unfortunately, it took four tries to get the closets done. I made the decision to purchase in September and the job was finished in December.
People should make sure that the person who's trying to sell them the flooring isn't just trying to make a sale, that they can actually verify that the project can get done. In defense of the salesman who sold me the product, he foresaw that there could be a problem with the closets and took pictures of the closets and sent them to his manager, who then said that this could be done and they agreed to move forward with my contract. I also thought Luna was one company with a group of installers. But, all they really do is they take the contract and subcontract it to somebody else.
Shital, we apologize for your experience. If you have further questions or concerns, please send an email to care@luna.com with your contact information, and we'll get in touch with you.

But when she got here, she was very apologetic. She asked us what we had in mind, and dropped the samples out. I was still looking for something. She could tell I wasn't completely satisfied. And she said, “I have other samples if you like.” I felt bad because she brought in so many. I said, “Oh, my goodness. Where do I begin? Let's just say that I would not recommend Luna to my worst enemy. This company should be absolutely ashamed in the way they conduct business and the way they handle their customers. Let's begin, oh yes of course, the consultation. Of course when a company wants to make a sale they are on time, every time. I had a representative come to my home banging down the door excited to make some commission. I fell into the trap. The salesman set me up with a time for installation, I forked over the money, and so the shenanigans begin.
Luna was supposed to be at my house on September 2nd between 8 AM - 6 PM. I asked a friend to remove every last piece of furniture and personal belongings inside my home to be ready for this shameful business. Time goes on, hour by hour, and absolutely nothing. I call the company, and they don't have answers. The company that has these "top notch installers that WORK FOR THEM" can't track down their own employees. As time goes on, Luna is a distant memory. Luna is nowhere to be found. I used a vacation day at work and put all this effort forward for a bunch of no call no shows. But don't worry, it continues.
After approximately 20 calls back and forth, I finally get in touch with "someone who matters" per se. This individual, "Brendan", tells me that he will make this up to me and that the Boston office will have installers out for that Saturday to make this right. Considering I cannot use another vacation day, I pay a buddy with a 30 pack of beer to wait at my house for the ELUSIVE LUNA installers to show up. Guess what? NO DICE. I cannot get in touch with anyone at all, but don't worry, they are "sorry for the inconvenience". Touching, thank you so much for your generous words.
Fast forward a week later. This "Brendan" says he will "try to make it right" and how can he "change my mind" for cancelling. OH YES, how could we all forget, the ELUSIVE LUNA is going to lose out on their big $2500 sale. HOW SAD. "Brendan" says he will try to make it happen. Brendan yet again fails to deliver. Leading up to 20 minutes before this post, "Brendan" calls me and says the best they can do is two weeks out. Two weeks people? I have been sleeping on a couch for a week because of this company.
So everyone, I just want you to all know, your majesty "Brendan" has fully refunded me MY MONEY for the company's inability to deliver any amount of reasonable customer service. Your company is a joke, your customer service is a joke, and all and all, thanks for nothing. You guys are all stars, don't forget your place in the hall of fame. Do not use this company. The installation was immediately available and the discussion with the sales rep also was good. The pricing is also good. I had carpet installed in the bedrooms and the hallway. I like the padding. But the carpet that I selected was not installed. I raised tickets and somebody was supposed to come and check if the carpet was installed and was it what I ordered. The person came early morning but I was not available so I asked him if he could come a little bit later in about three hours. But he could not make it. He said I have to reschedule an appointment. But I also got busy and I never rescheduled the appointment.
Even though the carpet that was installed wasn’t up to mark, Luna followed up and that’s important. When I raised a concern, people called me and set up a call. But I was not happy with the salesperson. After the carpet was installed, I tried to reach out to him but he was not much help. Then I called customer service and the rep was pretty good.

We liked the flooring that we got from Luna Flooring. We had a good sales girl and we liked her a lot. We knew what we wanted to see and those are the samples she brought us. It was a good experience all the way. At the beginning, there was a problem with the computer systems. They thought they had our carpet in stock and they had agreed to deliver it on a certain day. But they called and they ended up not having it so I had to wait another 10 days. But as far as the people who installed, the people who delivered, the salespeople and the follow-up people, they were all great.

I had a good experience with Luna Flooring. Real professionals that installed the floor. They worked until they were finished. They were in and out and couldn't tell they were there. The job was well done. We had the living room and the hallway done. It was the wood floor, the snap-together pieces. They took the carpet up and the padding and they started from the bottom. Then, they put a half-inch moon-shaped runner on top of it against the wall. It came out really nice.

Luna has a good variety of options to choose from whether it was price range or color. It was an easy appointment to set up and I appreciated the payment plan option. It was pretty painless from start to finish. I got carpet installed in three bedrooms and I really like it. It appears to be good quality for the price that I paid. I had some family over recently, and they commented on how nice, plush and full the carpet was. I made a good choice.

I had laminate floors installed by Luna Flooring. They did my great room and my kitchen. I am relatively pleased. It's a good quality. However, I thought the floor would have more of a shine or sheen through it but it's kind of dull. I'm not really happy with that but it was not on the part of the Luna salesman. He was actually very knowledgeable and helpful. He was also very professional and friendly. He was able to answer both my husband and my questions fairly. We felt comfortable and I didn't feel like they bait and switched me. Initially, what prompted me to seek it out was the deal but when he showed me the difference in quality, it made more sense to go with what I purchased. If I hadn't done the deal, it would have cost more. I looked into another provider and that was Empire Today. For the area that I wanted to cover, the price with Luna was a really good deal. It definitely was the better bargain.

I have worked with Luna Flooring before and I was very satisfied with the outcome that time. I worked with them again for the flooring of my son's bedroom and he's very happy with it. Their reps were very great people. They pretty much pointed us into the right direction and told us what was better for us since we were kind of trying to keep something that will last a little bit longer than carpet and easy to maintain. They have a variety that you can choose from and the installation was quick, too.

Then a couple weeks later, they were at the front door and got everything taken care of. The installers weren't here very long, so it worked out great.

The experience with Luna has been terrible. The Installation is still not completed as promised and what has been installed isn’t done correctly. On July 15th we had a representative from Luna flooring come out to provide us an estimate for flooring. We made our selections based upon the information he provided. Laminate throughout most of the house, Vinyl in the kitchen that was supposed to have a tile/grout look and carpet in the bedrooms and stairways. We were quoted $10,900 for everything. When going to sign the contract the representative did not have a pen and the only pen I had on hand barely wrote. To proceed with the sale the representative asked me to sign my name on one of his contracts (he voided out) and he would transfer/carbon sign my name to the contract he fills out. The laminate and vinyl installation was scheduled for Thursday July22 and the flooring installation the following Tuesday.
The copy of the voided contract was emailed to me with the representative’s phone number. Per the representative, I could call or text him anytime and he would respond back quickly (he also said his preference was text). Prior to installation day I had called to request the time window for the contractors to arrive. I was provided the window of 8am-6pm. I explained that I live in an HOA if the contractors arrive at 6pm they would not be able to work very long as well as this being the longest time window we have ever been given by any contractor/company that we have had out. The call taker told me that they could not provide a more narrow time window until the day of installation so if I call that morning they would provide me with that more narrow time window.
I called the morning of installation and asked for a better time window. The call taker was not able to provide anything other than the 8am-6pm window but stated they left a message at the warehouse and the installers would call when they were on their way. The installer called Thursday morning at 8:11am and told me they would be arriving in about an hour. Upon arrival the contractors were going over with me what needed to be done and questioned which rooms the trimming needed to be installed. I text the representative to double check with him, unfortunately I never received a response back. The installer told me he would verify with the home office and get the approval to purchase the trim from Home Depot since he did not have the product with him.
I was a little upset and disappointed that anything was being purchased from Home Depot considering the amount that was paid for the product and installation, but I didn’t say anything at this time. We were present for the laminate installation when they arrived and later left after discussing that it was ok with the contractors and made sure they had our phone numbers in case they needed anything. The contractors were not able to complete the installation on Thursday. We called Luna to see when they would be coming back to finish the job, we were told to expect a phone call to schedule that. Friday morning at 8:21 am I received a phone call from the same contractor that was out the day before. He was on his way again and would arrive in about an hour. I could not stay the entire time since I had to go to work and no appointment was made for us to move our work schedules around so we could be there for the installation.
The contractor had me sign the form that he was there completing the installation then I left after the contractor agreed to lock up after they were finished. The laminate installation was not done properly. A cord was not tucked behind the trim as it should have been creating a potential trip hazard, there are staples/nails sticking out of the laminate throughout the house creating another hazard, quarter round is falling off, and one of the laminate planks is scraped/peeling. On Monday afternoon I received a phone call from Luna flooring they stated they were calling about my appointment that was scheduled for that day. I explained our appointment is scheduled for Tuesday. I never received any email confirming the appointment or a phone call prior to the appointment to confirm as I did with the laminate.
The installer never called me on Monday either to let me know he was on their way or at the property (I could have drove over to the property). The agent stated there must have been a mix up but he can reschedule for August. At this point my anxiety is up and I am panicking because the sales agent assured us that everything would be finished so we could be moved in by July 31. The agent and I kept going back and forth he even offered me $100 off for the inconvenience. I explained that if they did not come out as planned we would not be able to move in, we would have no rooms to sleep in, and $100 would not pay for the hotel that we would have to stay in until the floors were finished. I also explained that we went with the company because they gave us that assurance of fast installation, otherwise we would have went with Lowe’s who quoted us less than half the cost for the same job.
I asked to speak with a manager and he stated that he is the supervisor. The agent put me on hold and stated he could schedule it for that Wednesday. We agreed to that. Later on I called back in to file a complaint about the service, products, and installation. I was apologized to and a ticket was created for the repairs as well as having a manager call me back to discuss the situation further. I was told the Manager should call me back by Wednesday and the repair call should be received by Thursday. On Wednesday morning, I called Luna to verify the time window for the installers to come. The agent I spoke to said that she only sees that they are suppose to call me about the carpet but nothing about the installation. She left messages with the warehouse and customer service for me to get a call back and added that if I didn’t receive a call within an hour or hour and a half to call back.
Rather than getting upset and worked up I told her I would wait for that call back and also discuss it further with a manager. After 2 hours I never received a call. Both my boyfriend and I called in several times. We spoke to agents who would leave messages with managers and other departments, disconnect us when asking to speak to a manager, or transfer us to another non manager agent when we ask to speak to a manager. One agent even told us regarding the trim, that it was not their policy to come out and tuck the wire behind the trim that we would have to have the work done then submit an invoice to them (I am not paying another company to fix their mistakes if it was an issue the sales rep should have discussed it with us prior to scheduling or the installers could have informed us at the time so it could have been addressed properly).
The job is still not done. Any agents we talk to won’t/can’t help us and management won’t answer the phone. We are going to be forced to live in a house with no bedrooms to sleep in (they don’t have carpets) and hazards all over the place from poor installation and having to move our things over but not able to put them away because the company did not finish the installation with the only other option of staying in a hotel which is expensive but may be the safest option for my family.

After waiting hours on end on hold for customer service and then a manager and then a call back and still nobody calls us back and then we finally call again and get a hold of somebody to find out that actually he just cannot do the job correctly! So we reschedule for a week later where the new crew does not show up at all and finally after calling several different times to customer service they finally tell us they do not have the material for our job!! So now my kids' bedrooms have no carpet and the tack strips are still there while they are sleeping on their beds on a plywood floor!! We decided to cancel completely and we will go with a different flooring company!!! Run the other way.

But I had never gotten a missed call or voicemail. They said the voicemail was full. It was weird. They reschedule the service two weeks later. I was annoyed because I had to move everything. But it ended up being fine with the installation. The quality is a little bit less than I expected but so far, so good.
I'm just a little nervous that after the two-year warranty is up that I might have some issues like if the flooring would still be durable. The salesperson explained that there was a difference in thickness for the difference in price. Once the flooring was installed, it was really thin. Other than that, I love the feel of my flooring. It was extra little touches that they did that we didn't ask for. We have two bathrooms done too but in a different color. They didn't leave us any of that but the workers were superb. They were very precise and didn't leave any stone unturned. They had the installation all done in one day. We had a little bit of cleanup to do but that's expected when moving furniture. When I had my floor in my kitchen installed by Luna it was not cheap. Not by a long shot. Not long after I started having bubbling. Luna told me it was because the floor was in areas where water could be. Really? You think? It's partly my fault for being an uninformed new home owner. How was I supposed to know the floor they sold me wasn't made for the kitchen?
Honestly they are just shysters trying to crack a buck with a cheap, quick flooring. I'd have been so much better off paying more for a product that lasted more than a couple of years. Please take my advice. If you must go with Luna make sure if it's a kitchen, bathroom or basement that they are selling you a product that is waterproof. Confirm that it's made for moist or wet areas. If you don't they won't honor the warranty and you'll end up with garbage flooring.

(None of them speak English) Looked at the job and left... Best I could gather is they did not have enough carpet to do the job, so they left. WOW! Took 2 weeks to reschedule the next crew (never the same guys) so 3 weeks out my house is still in disarray and 1 guy shows up to do all the carpeting and there was a lot. So this guy is going to move all my heavy furniture alone. WOW Again. Well, the carpet guys was awesome so I ended up helping with moving the stuff.
Let me get back to the Laminate. HORRIBLE INSTALL. Instead of doing the job correctly and removing the baseboard from the wall and then installing the laminate, these lazy dudes do not remove the base board, install the laminate and then install a small additional molding around the floor and baseboard. Of course this small molding they install DOESN'T match the flooring or the existing base board. What a Horrible mess. Then came time to do the thresholds where they used the same small molding between the laminate flooring and my kitchen tile - of course it doesn't match the tile, has space between the tile and the molding and the molding stickup higher than the tile. Again, What a Horrible mess. So here I am hiring a contractor and paying $800 for fix my thresholds. NEVER AGAIN WILL I HIRE THIS COMPANY.

First I was told the vinyl flooring would take one day. It took about 2.5 days which I called off work just to be there but ended up not being able to because it took so long for the installers to get here, the first day they did not show up until 130 pm when I was told they would be there by 9am and then left by 5pm. Now here we are not even a month 3 weeks in and my floor is LITERALLY falling apart. The planks have separated and now I have pieces of blank floor just there not attached to anything. Not sure if they were supposed to glue them or anything but obviously did not.
The other thing I have floor boards and instead of taking them off they went around my floor boards and then put a trim around my floor boards which looks RIDICULOUS. Not to mention I cut my foot because the trim they put down from switching to my carpet to the cheap planks the nails came through. I would NEVER go through them again. Cheap flooring and I wasted my money and I should of just done the planks by myself.
