I purchased a brand new Jennair dishwasher from a third party. The unit was wrapped in original packaging materials and was never assembled. It was missing several gaskets front parts that were not designed to be customer assembled. Clearly, someone was malicious (very unlikely) or the gaskets were never installed by the manufacturer. The resulting leak cost me over $10,000 in floor damage.

Jennair did not stand behind its product. Its associated parts company (RepairClinic) sent me the wrong replacement parts and made me pay shipping in both directions. I own an expensive home, luxury cars, and luxury appliances. Jennair appliances may be good IF they work. Their service is AMONG THE WORST I have experienced. In the future I will pick a different brand that stands behind its product.

The appliances are beautiful but the service is horrible. Every machine needs service. We selected JennAir for our new home in Tracy, CA. We moved in back in October 2024. The dishwasher has malfunctioned and the online service form denies the existence of our dishwasher on the mandatory form that requires the serial number and model number. So, I called the 866 number. Waited for 20 minutes and Whirlpool answered and transferred me to JennAir which was a 30 minute wait. When she answered I was transferred to "Service" and they asked to call me back when a customer service person is available. I'm waiting, and waiting, and waiting. Meanwhile, the door of my new dishwasher will not close because the auto-open push rod is jammed.

We had a Thermador dishwasher for 12 years and needed to replace it. Went to PC Richard’s and a slick salesman told us not to buy anything but a Jennair. Probably should have bought the used car with square wheels instead. 2 years in, and error codes at least once a week, and now every day. Hand wash dishes now! 1600.00 machine is useless! Would never buy a Jennair anything ever again!

Jennair products are pure junk. We bought a house that unfortunately had their products in the kitchen. The dishwasher didn’t clean anything. Replaced it with a Miele and the difference is astounding. Now the oven doesn’t work after we lose power. Have never had so many issues with kitchen appliances before. Avoid this brand at all costs.

If you need a technician to repair your Jenn Air products, do yourself a favour and don’t deal with the company directly. Incompetent technician came 3 times and never managed to repair my 7 year old machine. I have a video to prove my awful experience. I complained of course with Customer service in Canada and they need to investigate. How much longer will that take?! I took 3 times days off for nothing. Dishwasher still not fixed. Exasperated. I recommend you deal with an exterior company and save your time and money.

I previously had a Bosch dishwasher but recently replaced it with a Jennair Dishwasher, Noir Trifecta, with three racks. I expected it to clean as well as my Bosch. I bought it because Bosch inventory was not available in my area. I first loaded it as I have always done with my three racks, and removed the silverware basket at the bottom. None of the silverware came out clean. Next, I loaded the silverware in the basket and used the upper rack only for knives. The knives do not come out clean, but the silverware basket in the bottom seemed to work well. Next, I noticed that the second rack was not cleaning my coffee cups or my drinking cups to the bottom. There is always grit at the bottom of everything loaded on the second rack. This dishwasher takes 3.5 hours to clean unlike my Bosch that took 2.5 hours and it does not clean. Yes, it is quiet. It looks good. But it does not clean.

Spent $15,000.00 on appliances with them. Control panel went out in dishwasher a month ago! I still have no dishwasher and customer service could care less! No timeline even when it will be fixed. Every time I call they act like they have no clue what is going. They are so rude one lady said she washed dishes by hand so did not see the urgency and another rep said I lost my magic wand. It is a shame to spend that much money with no solution and washing dishes by hand. They could care less.

I purchased a dishwasher, cooktop, built-in wall oven/microwave and warming drawer combo upon completing kitchen reno in home. NOTHING BUT FRUSTRATION AND DISAPPOINTMENT in less than first 3 years of owning it. Between replacing fridge motor (1 year in) and food still freezes when placed toward back of fridge, fridge french door “flap” (1x but still does not shut correctly), motherboard that controls oven units (took three months to get the replacement part and then it was not the correct finish), RUSTING dishwasher racks, wheels breaking and constantly going off track, broken dishwasher control panel and now the top rack’s little plastic supports have completely broken off track on one side making dishwasher currently unusable.

TODAY I WILL BE ORDERING A BRAND NEW KITCHENAID DISHWASHER to REPLACE the Jenn-Air unit as I do not want to deal with Jenn-Air ever again... Not even worth fixing as to avoid future frustration. Also, while searching Jenn-Air website, I just noticed a RECALL on my built in oven which I have NEVER received notice from company about... Yep... I’m done with Jenn-Air.

Bought 5 Jenn-Air appliances when recently remodeled kitchen so all would match, & have alike handles. All OK except Dishwasher. Construction of lower rack is that there is room for plates to flop forward crashing onto the next plate. There is no adjustment. Either the wires are too low or too wide, can’t figure out why it is happening. I called company and both times attitude of respondents was “so sad, too bad”. They offered no solution. At this point, don’t know what to do. I am considering trying to replace the lower rack with a non-Jenn-Air one, maybe Bosch? Don’t know if would fit or work. Very frustrating experience.

We've owned a Jenn Air dishwasher, range, and range hood since we built our home 4 years ago. About four months ago, the Trifecta Dishwasher JDB8700AWP stopped working. Bray and Scarff, the dealer where we purchased the appliances, charged $120 to come out and diagnose the problem (bad control panel), and another $120 to install the new part (the control panel itself was still under warranty). Today it stopped working again. Bray and Scarf wants another $120 to diagnose the problem, and another $120 more to install it. Jenn Air customer service has been useless, telling me that only the parts are under warranty - even though this new control panel lasted less than four months, costing me $240 in labor to diagnose and replace. Never again Jenn Air or Bray and Scarff.

We just moved into our new home and all the products are Jenn Air including the dishwasher. This is a high end appliance package - top of their line. So first, it is the quietest dishwasher we have ever had and we've had KitchenAid and General Electric. It also cleans beautifully. Perhaps some of the criticisms are for an older model or a different model but their top of the line is absolutely terrific... so far.

Do your research. These are terrible (Jenn-Air JDB8200AWP3). After researching several credible sites on dishwashers Jenn-Air came up as one at the bottom of the pile, but upon persuasion from my builder and being told about all of the wonderful customer service that they had and that she herself owned the same one and it was wonderful I went against my better judgment and went ahead with the purchase. The dishwasher immediately began having problems such as running and never shutting off, making various noises, and not cleaning the dishes well... and that customer service that I heard so much about quickly disappeared as I live in a rural area and the certified service company that they used took over a month to come out, repair, and get the unit into working order.

Shortly after that repair within another six months the unit began dumping water randomly on my brand new hardwood floors and again began running without shutting down again... (do not start these unattended or use overnight). After several attempts to again get service out to fix the problem they finally gave up and called another service provider in my area who completely went through the dishwasher. This was at the end of my warranty and within a week of service the lower wand blew off and landed on the heating element melting it and ruining it (probably used it 4 times after service).

Upon calling the wonderful service department I was informed that the arm coming off was not caused by the maintenance that was performed because it would have come off the first time I used it not after the 4th time and that the dishwasher was out of warranty and they would no longer pay for any work on the dishwasher. READ THE REVIEWS. DO NOT BUY JENN-AIR, KENMORE, KITCHENAID, or any other brand made by Kenmore DISHWASHERS!!! Don't make the same mistake that I made.

I called this morning to get a heads up on an issue I'm having with a dishwasher. The customer service folks seemed to only be able to tell me why they couldn't help me! My dishwasher is about 5 years old. I installed it as part of a kitchen remodel. I have had numerous issues with this high-end unit JDB3200AWS FY3101053. All surrounding the complete draining of the unit. It worked fine for a couple of years and then it didn't drain after each cycle. Pushing the cancel button would drain the unit. But I took the pump apart and found a small bummer that must have fell off one of the cabinet drawers or doors and some them got into the pump. I thought for sure, even though the item looked to be small enough to move through the drain without issue.

Well once the unit was back in service the same thing happened, wouldn't drain. I went and reset the power again and the damn thing worked for over a year. But now I'm back to the same place. Yesterday, I went up to my local appliance parts warehouse, Dayco Supply, I've dealt with them for years, I've owned a HVAC business for 40 years, so I've been around the block more than once working on any number of appliances. I want to get a new pump and water clarity sensor to see if that would fix the problem. I noticed the pump was redesigned and they had 12 clarity sensors in stock. I was all but sure replacing these two parts I would be home free! Not so much, same problem! All I wanted it to talk with a tech to get an idea of how I should proceed. I'm all but positive others have had a similar issue.

Based on my experience the next step would be to replace the brains (control circuit pack). I had to rate you with only 1 star and I can tell you this is the first time I ever rated a company that low. I'm a 4 or 5 star kind of guy! Good service deserves notice and poor service should be pointed out! I can be reached at **if you have the mind to give me a jingle!

Last thing, in looking at your other reviews, I'm not sure why I bought your product in the first place. That is something you should be concerned about even if you are unable to help me. You can't satisfy everyone as I found out, I had a 5 star rating for many years on Google and this year I was dinged! Now I'm at 4.9! The point here is you are at less than 2 and that should tell you something.

Several years ago we bought a Jenn-Air dishwasher and had several minor problems with it (rusting racks). Then, after about 5 years it started randomly overheating. We would start it before bedtime and it would still be drying in the morning and the countertop over the washer would be very warm to the touch. It melted several utensils and dishes. After reading about fires caused by overheating dishwashers and seeing Jenn-Air had several recalls for this problem we contacted them and they denied our model was subject to recall and they refused to take any other action. After contacting a consumer affairs agency, Jenn-Air contacted us and replaced the dishwasher.

Now, barely two years later, the replacement dishwasher is no longer cycling. Last night a one-hour wash that was started around 8:00 pm ran throughout the night. Several trials today have obtained similar results. When I contacted Jenn-Air their only response was to offer to schedule a repair visit or to sell us a $350 service contract. When I asked for troubleshooting information that might allow me to find and fix the problem myself they said they had no information for me. Their website claims to offer "exceptional customer service" but this seems anything but. I think I've found the part that might be malfunctioning and will attempt to make the repair myself, but that's no thanks to Jenn-Air. After these two experiences, Jenn-Air (Whirlpool) will no longer be a brand of appliance we will even begin to consider when we need to buy new appliances.

It should still work. KitchenAid contracts their work through Wind Service. That is another story since blind monkeys could do a better job on repairs. I simply received a lemon and Jenn-Air will not send any more service calls and after several attempts at repair, it seems futile. They said they would pro rate the value. After seven years, when it should have been repaired at the get go, I'll probably toss it and buy a Bosch. Very unsatisfied with Jenn-Air, to say the least.

I know this is going to sounds nuts, but I don't think I have ever HATED an appliance, or anything or anyone, for that matter, as much as I hate my dishwasher. Consider this a public service announcement. Right out of the box, it was a complete pain, it never really got my dishes clean, no matter what. And the machine was expensive to boot! Approximately $1300 - what was I thinking? This supposedly state of the art dishwasher does not do its job. I have to rinse (practically wash) everything before putting it in the dishwasher. If I don't, everything will come out with baked on food - with every cycle, including sanitize or heavy wash! And every cycle is an eternity...not one "quick wash" cycle. Before our house burned down, I had a Bosch, which I loved dearly. I would never have broken up with my beloved Bosch, but for the unfortunate fire.

I could put dishes and silverware directly into the dishwasher without ever rinsing them off and they would come out sparkling clean. Isn't that what you expect from a dishwasher! I have to basically wash everything before putting it in the crappy Jenn-Air dishwasher, and many times wash it all again after I remove things from it! I have tried it all, dishwasher cleaners, vinegar, dishwasher detergent with phosphates, dishwasher "boosters", JetDry. I am disgusted, and I think I have been beaten. I want my Bosch back, boo hoo! I understand that this is supposed to be more "green" and use less water. Hello, Jenn-Air??? If I am essentially washing one load THREE times, that is a tremendous waste of water! Nothing green about it. About the only nice things I can say are that it is an attractive appliance, and very quiet.

But I don't need something pretty, quietly sitting there, taking its sweet time, NOT doing its job in my home! (I've worked with enough people like that!) I have contacted Jenn-Air, their customer service is awful and dismissive... They got my money, won't do anything further and they don't care about pleasing the customer... simply awful.

Every single part that unscrewed in the bottom of the dishwasher was FULL of black sludge. It could not be good to eat off dishes coming from this Jenn Air. How could that happen? I always rinse my dishes before washing, clean the washer regularly, etc. It took an hour to scrub everything and sanitize. One BIG issue is that the drain in the bottom of the dishwasher is higher than the bottom of the washer--so dirty water is always standing there. I'm purchasing another brand--soon. I won't go thru this again. I have never had any luck with any Jenn Air appliance. Had a ss refrigerator that was a lemon, their gas range, too and now the bad design on the dishwasher. I never know if the dishes will come out cleaned or have food all over them, looking as if they had never been washed. The Jenn-air refrigerator I bought at the same time is a piece of junk. The rubber gasket around the door is coming apart, and not long after buying it, the plastic front of the wide storage drawer popped out. I have glued, cemented, and taped it to try to keep it from falling out. It has also been making a loud strained noise when running. These appliances are less than five years old, and I know that we will have to replace them in the not-too-distant future. I haven't mentioned the range and microwave because they were replaced due to a power outage. Did I replace them with Jenn-air? Never would I buy Jenn-air again. What cheaply made appliances they are!

The usual story.... Remodeled our kitchen and wanted to buy "top of the line" appliances for home owners on an limited budget. I could have bought the low end of the really top of the line appliances, like Wolfe, but wanted to buy what we thought were the Jenn-Air products that I have heard so much about over the years. Spent over $8K in appliances and got a "free" dishwasher (JDB3600AWS5). The pump failed twice in two years, had a service call on the microwave, stove top and oven. Were told they were made in the USA, only to find that they are assembled in the USA. The microwave was made in Japan, and that we knew. The $1200 range hood was made in Mexico.

We have numerous calls on the cook top and still it snaps on occasion with the electric start. Bought the appliances from Gerhards in Glenside, and that was a mistake. Was promised a three year warranty and still fighting over this two years into the ownership. All I know is that at least once a year from here on in, I can expect to replace the pump on the dishwasher. That is why it was free. They make the money on spare parts and generate service work. Jenn-Air and Gerhards and Gehards service are on the bottom of my list.

I had this cook top only six years and it had never worked right from the beginning. I called a Jenn-Air dealer and it could not be repaired. To repair it would have been 900.00 dollars. They could not get the screws out of the eyes. I have been without a cook top for a month.

I am so dissatisfied with my "supposedly" state of the art Jenn-Air dishwasher. I have to rinse everything before putting it in the dishwasher. Otherwise the dishes and silverware come out with baked on food no matter what cycle I use. I had an Asko prior to Jenn-Air and it was wonderful. I could put heavily soiled dishes into the dishwasher without rinsing them off and they would come out sparkling clean. That is what I expect in a dishwasher! If you have to wash everything before putting it in the dishwasher, why bother owning a dishwasher? I guess I got spoiled with my Asko. The only reason I bought Jenn-Air was because I remodeled my kitchen and wanted all stainless steel appliances so I opted to replace everything with Jenn-Air. Big Mistake!!! Will I ever buy another Jenn-Air dishwasher??? No way - they couldn't give me one.

I had it in last house, and I sold the house, now I'm renting and it's same dishwasher. I hate it! Doesn't wash at all! The dishes look same when I put in and take them out!

Purchased new Jenn-Air appliances when remodeled kitchen in 2009. Thought we were buying the best. The dishwasher motor was replaced in 2011... which was covered except for labor. I can't seem to find the right detergent to use. My glasses are too cloudy. Normal wash does not clean. Have to use the Heavy wash cycle. The Jet Dry type product recommended only made the problem worse. After the motor was replaced it's not as quiet as before. I have used 4 different appliances in different homes. GE was the best. It's disappointing.
