Aspen Heating is a great company with great employees who are fast and good at their job. They arrived on time and efficiently did their work. The prices were very good and I would certainly use them again! They even checked my other appliances and I was happy with that! They go well and beyond what they are asked to do and that makes them a wonderful company!

So far we have used three contractors we had found through HomeAdvisor. All three have been excellent and we will definitely use them all again. One contractor I contacted myself after reading their reviews on Home Advisor, the other two contacted me after Home Advisor made the request for me. All of the contractors we have used have contacted us in a very timely fashion which is greatly appreciated. This is an excellent service and we will continue to use Home Advisor for future needs in home updating.

I was a bit disappointed with the HomeAdvisor service. I gave 3 stars because it is where I found my maintenance provider, but that's it. HomeAdvisor emailed me on a Saturday evening stating that they canceled my appointment because they couldn't get a hold of the company to confirm appointment. This was a services that NEEDED to be done on Monday. I was left with no one to contact because they emailed me on the weekend, and with no replacement recommendation or anything. I also couldn't call them, because they emailed me after their business hours. Fortunately I was able to contact the company myself on Monday morning to set up services. I had no problem getting ahold of them... I ended up with a great company to help me with my lawn services.

Simple process with outstanding results. I'll be using it for any future needs. Ken contacted me the next day to set up my appointment. He worked with me on my appointment time and I could tell he understood the value of my time. We will be using Ken again in the near future.

Dave diagnosed problem quickly, and provided several options on how to go about getting our solar generation working at 100%. A replacement unit was ordered and installed, all within about 1 week. I am very pleased with the service (replaced solar inverter unit) provided by Roam Solar.

Easy way to get true professionals about problems (bugs, sewer back-ups) which nobody around has any recommendation or experience with. Each time, estimates and time frames were explained in a friendly, non-pushy way. Ease of payment also helped. Got a couple of responses and went with the one person that really followed through with me. The website was easy to navigate and let me specify exactly what I needed to have done (tree removal). The person hired did a great job, so I would look at HomeAdvisor again for the next job I need done.

I used HomeAdvisor to get work but stopped using them because it was not profitable for me. Too many handymen and I'm a licensed electrician. I couldn't compete with unlicensed and uninsured people working with no overhead off the back of their truck. So I stopped using them 6 months ago. I called to cancel the service and they said they would cut it off until fall and let me see if I wanted to start back. I didn't think I would but I thought it a reasonable request so I agreed. Then 2 days ago they drafted my freaking bank account for $307.46!!! I called and spoke to 3 people about it.

Siding estimate/gutter repair - One of the most honest contractors I have experienced. Provided estimate and recommendations on what could be done and what didn't need to be done. When I showed him a gutter issue I had noticed he fixed it on the spot even though he was just here to give an estimate on siding.

When I started using Home Advisor a few years ago, I'd state what I wanted done and a list of potential contractors would appear on the screen, complete with background, reviews, etc. I could then peruse the list at my convenience, and call who I wanted to and when I wanted to. The last couple of times I used this service, I stated what I wanted done, a list of contractors appeared on the screen, and before I could even read the list, the phone started ringing!! I think that's a terrible way to do it!! Please, give me some time to look over your listing and let me decide who I want to speak with, and when I want to speak with them.

Out of the five (5) times I've used them all the companies have been responsibly priced, had good customer service and completely followed through. Very easy service that provides professionals for small or large projects. They also do all the work for verifying insurance and make sure the business is of top quality.

Good recommendation. I have used HomeAdvisor twice and been pleased with who they sent both times, pest control (Pest Ranger) and electrician (Down To Earth). Both times the technicians were polite, professional, and did a good job. Sent 2 contractor names for item only 1 ever called me. The contractor that was sent did quality work, neat, polite and on time. I would recommend again. We did a garage door and an opener and he took all old items away and disposed of and left a sticker if we need any other repairs or additional work.

My referral happened so fast that I barely spent any time with HomeAdvisor. So, I can't really say at this point how good this company is. I plan to work with them again, and gain experience with them. HomeAdvisor was very efficient in helping me. For example, the contractor's phone number did not work. When I reported that to HomeAdvisor, the Cust Serv Rep quickly gave me another phone number. That worked, I made contact with the contractor. A couple of days after that the contractor came out and quickly finished the job. Overall, it went very well with both HomeAdvisor and this experienced good contractor.

NOT user friendly on two counts: the site should have known I had previously signed up and alerted me; notwithstanding that, the site should have held my review while it required me to log in. I am far from a newbie to websites; very poor implementation.

I went through HomeAdvisor to find a company for having our driveway sealed. I had the worst experience with a company HomeAdvisor recommended. How they could have recommended this company is beyond me. Obviously they really don't screen the companies that they recommend. I will never use HomeAdvisor again. Kentucky is a hard place to dig holes for fencing. However, pricing by many contractors is inflated, because not all fence holes need to be pounded or require an auger. Find someone honest! It may take longer with the little guy, but in the end, the work is just as good.

I was happy with my HomeAdvisor suggested A/C vendor. When the job was completed and I had posted my 5 star review of the vendor (now twice); I received 3 phone calls from HomeAdvisor. The first two calls I relayed the information that I had posted my review. The third call was yesterday. I didn't know it was a HomeAdvisor call at first. The caller, rushing through the boilerplate statement said it so fast and ignored my several plaintive "Wait, who is this?", "Wait, please speak more slowly"; which was ignored. Finally, I had to yell "Stop Stop" She didn't slow her rapid speech. She hung up on me. Only when I matched the numbers from previous HomeAdvisor calls did I realize it was from HomeAdvisor.

The craftsman we were referred to was perfect and fit our needs. He completed the estimate and when he came in lowest he only took 1 week to get to us and begin our fence. The rain was a barrier to his completion but was in the yard every dry second and the outcome is beautiful and keeps our dogs in the yard and our of danger.
