Global Home USA offers three home warranty plans: Gold, Platinum and Elite. Depending on your chosen package, plans start between $595 and $895 per year and service fees range from $60 to $100 at the time of publishing.

With Global Home USA, you can choose your own contractor, and there’s no 30-day waiting period before you can use your warranty coverage. Basic coverage includes HVAC, some plumbing, and the electrical system. The company also offers extra coverage to add to any plan, including an additional refrigerator, swimming pools and central vacuum.

Global also covers things that home warranties often don’t cover, like unknown preexisting conditions and home inspection services. The home inspection service guarantees a written home inspection for buyers and comes standard in the Elite plan; however, you can add it to any plan for $70. Global plans also cover permit and code violations, improper installation and removal of defective equipment.
