Just had to put my two cents in for how bad this product is. I purchased four back in February and out of the four one still works. The three failed after one and half and two months. So of course that was out of the warranty period. I called up their support line and mentioned this to them. The comment he made back was, "You know whenever you buy something off the internet you need to be aware of the warranty period because the products may not work and you need to let the company know if it is in that warranty period." Of course, I was a bit taken aback that he would actually admit their products do not always work. The long and the short of it is DO NOT PURCHASE anything from EdenPure. I believe they thrive on selling defective products that just make it over the warrant finish line so they do not have any further liability or responsibility to make sure their customers are treated fairly.

The EdenPure Thunderstorm Oxileaf Air Purifier was perfect for what I bought it for. To place in the area of my cats litterbox. It worked great on the ozone low setting. I could smell the fresh air in the entire room, until, after 2 months it stopped producing the fresh smell. The fan still worked so mechanically it functioned. I tried vacuuming the intake and exit areas as the instructions directed. There was no change. I varied the settings through the 6 different levels, ozone high/middle/low and plasma high/middle/low. Nothing changed. It did NOTHING. Of course it is past the 30 day warranty.

Purchased two EDENPURE OXILEAF II, THUNDERSTORM, AIR PURIFIER 2024 September. A small black device that you plug in the wall. One stopped working recently. I noticed the blue light wouldn’t come on. When I communicated via email on the Eden pure website which sent me the email stating shipping information when I purchased it, my return customer service emails never had the Eden pure NAME in it. It was always something else as far as customer service representation. When the product was shipped in 2024 it was from,”onlinesupport@suarezsbrands.com, that’s not a good sign, but I ignored it. I want a replacement even though they have a one year guarantee. A product with such a hype online that lasts only two years, that’s not good.

We bought the 3 for just under 200 in October 2024. "Radio special". Worked great, as a matter of fact had to keep it on the lowest setting and that easily cleaned the air of two rooms. I like the ozone fresh air scent but my wife doesn't. However, sadly, all 3 have stopped working less than two years later! Not sure if they can be repaired at a reasonable cost.

I bought one of these a couple of years ago. Only lasted 2 seasons. Total trash. At the beginning of the cold for this year, it started shutting itself off. An electrician friend told me that means it's shorting out. Of course the warranty is over. I called this company to complain and the lady told me the life of the product is typically 2-3 years. So...you spend almost $300 for a heater that lasts a couple of years? I have little floor heaters that are 15 years old and still heat like an oven! I mean those things are BEASTS and only cost me like $40-50. I bought this one because it promised not to dry out the air. But it's better to just run a humidifier than to mess with a garbage unit like Edenpure. Don't spend your money on this. And their Thunderstorm air purifiers? Work great for about 90 days and then POOF! 😢

I bought 2 and one quit after a couple of months. They replaced it, but now neither works. Big SCAM!!! I will never buy any products from this company.???

I purchased two of the Thundercloud units. They worked fine for 3 months and I didn't mind the smell. Neither one of them are still working. No wonder they only have a 30 day warranty...the product is garbage. Of course they will work for 30 days! Just about anything does. Typical...American company that out sources to China then sells them to American as an American product. They should be sold in Walmart for $30 a piece. That's the quality you are getting from this company.

I purchased two EdenPURE OxiLeaf II Thunderstorm air purifiers in March 2025. The first one stopped working after three months, and to their credit, Edenpure replaced it with a newer version. However, after nine months, the second one stopped working, and I cannot get a replacement. They are not cheap, and they are also not worth it. Don’t waste your money.

Had the original thunderstorms and they worked good. Bought the 3 pack of the Thunderstorm OxiLeaf. I noticed one not working after a couple of months, when I unplugged it there was a salty brine leaking out of the unit. I vacuum the little filter frequently but worried about the salt brine. It has corroded the prongs that go in the outlet. I fear they could be a fire hazard. Will never purchase again.

Wife and I purchased the Eden pure heater June 24. We plugged it in October 24 but it made a noise so we called customer service. I paid $15 for a return label and they sent me another one. We got it in November. Used it through the winter and it started to make noise, especially when it's cold and you turn it on again. Sounded like a bunch of loose parts. Called customer service for replacement again.... You know the one you're warranty.... Well it doesn't start when you get your replacement. It starts when you bought your first one. Too bad units in a row. Horrible policies. This is not the Eden pure. Your mom and dad had... stay away!

They work great at first, but not for long. I bought 3 and they all quit working in about 3 months. Two of them started squealing. They were sticky when they quit. I bought them hoping they would work for a while.

I purchased 2 initially and they worked great for 2 months. Then one started making loud noises. As I asked for a replacement, the second was quit working. Sent both back. I had to pay for return shipping. Received the replacements and they both quit working within 30 days. I sent those back. I paid for shipping. Received two replacements for the second time. One died within 3 months and the other lasted 9 months and died. I gave up.

I purchased a total of 7 Oxileaf III units, 3 initially then another 4 shortly after receiving and loving the first 3. Within months all units have corrosion on the prongs and 6 out of 7 stopped working.

Updated on 12/28/2025: I purchased 3 EdenPURE OxiLeaf II plug-in air purifiers. 1 stopped working within the very short warranty period and they sent out another. Then another 1 of the 3 stopped working but it was after the very short warranty period and they agreed to send another one but I had to pay shipping. That one worked for about 6 months. These products are cheaply made but they charge a significant amount for them. I would not recommend purchasing them.

I had purchased 9 Eden Pure Oxileaf ll Thunderstorms. After a few weeks, three quit. Then, in a few weeks, another two. I sent back 5, which they replaced. Two quit immediately, so I sent them back. They replaced them and here they are already quit in less than a month's time. I can keep resending them and pay for them several times over. Shipping isn't free. In my opinion, they are complete junk! Do not waste your money!

I received an Oxileaf II as a Christmas gift in 2024 brand new. In all its original packaging. The person I got it from passed away in January 2025. It stopped working 4 days after I plugged it in. I called customer service and they would not replace it because there was no information on record of this person ever buying it. I think it’s the owner I spoke to and would not even talk to me without the original purchase information. I wouldn’t use their product if it was free, which they aren’t, very expensive and poor quality.

It definitely eliminated odors; however, it does leave a chemical smell. We used it in a hotel room where the air was stagnate before the A/C kicked on. Also, in our mud room where we dry off wet dogs.

I bought the Thunderstorm 3 Because our dog had an accident on the carpet. Used it one day. The smell didn’t go away but I lost my voice and started coughing and my lungs hurt. I was not even in the same room as the unit. I had to leave the house. Tried to return but you need an authorization number and they don’t answer phones or reply to emails, so I can’t get the return authorization. I did research and ozone is damaging for anyone with a lung issue and for small pets. Luckily I turned it off before our birds got sick. I guess I will return it without authorization and get delivery confirmation and fight it out with my credit card company.

The Thunderstorm air purifiers unfortunately are not worth the money. When I first got them I LOVED them. The air smelled fresh and clean. Within a month one completely stopped working. I got ahold of the company and planned a return and exchange. By the time I had it ready to ship out (at my expense) the second one stopped working. I sent them both out and got replacements. The new ones don't even have a scent. I can't even tell if they are working but they are very loud. These are not cheap so I'd expect them to last longer than just a couple months! Very disappointed.

I bought an Edenpure copper heater in October 2023. It worked great at first. We used it from November until spring of 2024. So for 4 months no problem. The heater sat unused all summer and I made sure to clean the filter. Then in November of 24 I turned it on high and it ran for a few minutes and then powered off. Did all the troubleshooting and called customer service only to be told it seems to be overheating but my warranty expired so they won't fix it. I paid $300 for a heater I only used for 4 months. Such a waste. Just wanted to share my experience. They only have a 1 year warranty.

Bought two Edenpure Thunderstorm Oxileaf II's 2.5 months ago and both have stopped working. Visible corrosion on the plugs. I can get one to come on if I put it on an extension cord and carefully move the plug until it's just right, No luck with the other one at all. Very disappointed!

First 3 lasted less than a year - company replaced all 3. After 2 months, 1 of the three died - other 2 seem to still be operating - no warranty on replacements. They do produce a noticeable pleasant aroma, when they're working!. I suspect the remaining 2 won't last for long. A relatively expensive layout for a product that has poor longevity! Do your homework and find a better solution. I'm using Essential Air units now and so far, so good.

I decided to clean my new G9 Air Purifier a little early, even though the "C" reminder light hadn't come on yet; but after reassembling, the C came on and wouldn't go away. When I called customer service, she had no answers for that except to send it back, at my expense, for a replacement. I also asked about the sensor that is supposed to be cleaned, but the tiny pictures in the user manual don't make clear what it looks like. She had no more clue than I did. When asked if she could refer me to a technician familiar with the product, she said there were only the four of them answering phones.

I bought these because I knew of the technology and had a unit that I bought from a different company in 1998 that had finally quit working. The first one failed within a few days of plugging it in and Edenpure replaced it no questions asked. However, the other one and the replacement failed within three days of each other in September. I bought these in July. Edenpure will not replace them unless I pay to ship these back to them. This is horrible, I'd never buy another item from that company. I did buy a heater from them, but after researching, I doubt it will last one season either.

Was quite interested in a small plug in air purifier to take care of cooking smells or fireplace smells---intermittent use. I used this item twice and at first the ozone smell bothered me and upon second use I was used to that smell and appreciated the unit to remove a smoky smell from cooking bacon. --it was fine. Today I tried it for the third time and while plugged in, the blue light never came on. I have had this unit for maybe 3-4 months. What a disappointment that I have no recourse after only two uses. The warranty on the product is 30 days--I should have taken notice of that.

One unit broke in a little over 30 days and I was going to have to pay to return it but the woman gave me an exception and sent me a return label and then I had to wait for that unit to be returned for a replacement. Now I noticed the other two did not make any sound but the blue light was on. However, the units were not working and they won’t turn blue, they are dead. I purchased these in August 2024. These are garbage. Buyer beware. I can't believe John Fredrick’s could endorse this product. This product does not deserve a one star. I called and left a message again, I wouldn’t want to answer out of embarrassment so I request a refund.

I have had a unit for years and was a believer in the product, Eden Pure Ox leaf II Thunderstorm Air Purifier. I recommended this unit to friend and family. I ordered 2 more took 3-4 months before I received them. I assume the shipment for China was slow. Both units quit working within months and were replaced reluctantly by the company and they told me that they couldn't be returned or replaced. So they stopped working also within 6 months, so I give up. Not recommended, poor quality control of this product.

Like so many others giving reviews of these “EdenPure Thunderstorms” I bought 3 of them hoping to get the most bang for the buck. What a mistake that was! The smell emitted by these things is overwhelming indeed. They only seem to work when turned up to Max setting also. When turned on max there is a clinical type smell coming from them which is AWFUL imo. I would not recommend these things to anyone!

I bought these two years ago. I had three of them throughout the house. At first the odor was off-putting but after the break-in, it did seem to neutralize odor. Only lasted 11 months and then it was useless. Do not recommend the product. Some people online think that the smell that it produces could be unhealthy.

My friend who just passed away bought over $100,000 of these products. Worst company ever. Vacuums do not have any suction and are a waste for over $250. Each. Tried to get this terrible company to replace batteries and they want me to pay for all the shipping and will not replace them all. Need 6 that don't work. They only want to at my expense replace 3. ⚠️ ⚠️ ⚠️ DO NOT BUY THESE. THEY ARE A WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY!

I purchased 3 of the Thunderstorm Air Purifiers and they all quit working within a few months. They were covered under the 1 year warranty and all were replaced free of charge by EdenPURE. Within a few months, all 3 replacement Thunderstorm units quit working. By this time, they are out of the 1 year warranty period and I'm stuck with 3 Thunderstorm Air Purifiers that do not work. GARBAGE!

Company contacted me and said they will replace the item that has been broken since I got it. Hopefully they follow through.

I purchased three of the EdenPURE air purifiers. The science behind it seemed solid. Within several months, one stopped working, so I sent a very positive email to tell them I was still a big fan of the company, but one failed, and I asked for it to be replaced. I received no answer, and when I went to resend my friendly request, the second failed. I then sent an updated email requesting a refund or replacement. I patiently waited to give them the benefit of the doubt. Several weeks later, I wrote a more pointed email saying that I hate to put poor reviews out there, so I would appreciate them helping. Several months have gone by with no response. To my embarrassment, I came out here to find this is the company's modus operandi. Please do not spend money with these people.

Purchased 3 of the Thunderstorm Air Purifiers and they all quit working within a few months. They were covered under the 1 year warranty and all were replaced free of charge by EdenPURE. Within a few months, all 3 replacement Thunderstorm units quit working. By this time, they are out of the 1 year warranty period and I'm stuck with 3 Thunderstorm Air Purifiers that do not work. Don't waste your money on this junk!! Invest in a well made air purifier that lasts. I spent $291 on these and I am very disappointed. Again, please DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!

I purchased, 2 years ago, the Thunderstorm air purifier for over $100 and it lasted 2 years. Calling customer service, l was told that they usually don't last any longer than that! You never said that in your ads, l have been ripped off. The product worked, but not long. They would not help!

I ordered this product in August of 2022. Received my order in September of 2022. November of 2022 2 of the 3 have broken. I tried calling customer service several times. No one answered. I emailed 3 times with no response. Skip forward to January 2023. Finally spoke to a customer representative. She was very hateful. And the response was for me to pay to ship them back. They technically didn’t even work a month. And were not cheap. But I’m paying shipping. Plus my time and gas because of an inferior product. This company has no customer cares at all.

Purchased a vacuum. Would not pick up so sent it back for a return. Sent me a new one. Still did not work. Try to get a refund my money. They said it had been too long.. Their solution was for me to send it back for another and continue to do that… No resolution.. I have purchased multiple products from Eden pure over 15 years. Was expecting better customer service from a loyal customer.. Will never purchase another product from Edenpure.

I purchased 2 of the above heater/fans in August, 2021. I did not use them until November, 2021. Use was minimal. One of the heaters stopped working in March/April 2022. Since Eden Pure no longer has that heater, which was in excess of $200, the only thing they will do is give me a $56 rebate. I have spent over $2,000 with Eden Pure since last August & will not spend another nickel on their junk! They are unwilling to send me another heater (different model #, same price). STAY AWAY!!!!

I have a 300 sq. ft. kitchen and the Gen 4 cannot warm it. So I put a meat thermometer in the front of the Gen 4 and it got to 118 degrees. Put the same thermometer in front of my 15" screen laptop and it got to 99 degrees. Sitting 30 inches from front of Gen 4 and you cant feel any heat, you have to put your hand at least 6 inches from the front to feel heat. Highly recommend researching other types of heaters and not spending $300 for this brand. Mine has been sitting in the kitchen corner for 5 years unused.

Edenpure is selling space heaters that are NOT as good as the older one I bought in the past. Same price, best model and a lot lighter, smaller and not as much heat which means more money to operate. Way Back bought a Model GEN-3 which was great. After that wore out in about 8 years, they sold me a Model Classic Plus. Just not as good and cost the same.
