My bathtub upstairs was stopped up for a couple of days and called Choice Home Warranty. I have had service for over a year and never used them. They were all over my tub protecting it. The first Co they referred me to never called me back, they knew this and got me a new Co. ASAP. I called them and they were here the very next day. I am totally happy with the job, the Co. who did the work and of all the teamwork Choice Home Warranty did to do to get the job done so good and fast.

My first experience with Choice was exceptional. My service call was answered promptly and they scheduled service the same day (Super Fast). The service guy arrived on time, diagnosed and fixed the problem. All I can say is WOW!

CHW was very prompt with assigning a case/claim # to my issue. I called on a Sunday after discovering my central a/c quit blowing cold air. The repair person came on Tuesday, at 6:40 pm. The person that came to my house was very polite/cordial. He worked on the a/c unit and I was feeling cool again in about 2 hours.

Prompt action and a good service contractor. Paid to replace broken gear drive on old opener.

Service was excellent and the RPS plumbers were awesome. They were so polite and competent, got the job done accurately. Choice was very receptive in honoring the claim which resulted in two claims on the same day. Choice did not charge a second copay since the plumbers were still in the residence. Excellent job done. Will recommend them highly; in fact I already have. I recommended them to my cousin. Thank you Choice for job well done.

The service provided from both Choice and Eagle Quality Plumbing was prompt and professional in all respects. I would highly recommend both to anyone that needs quality service when a home problem occurs. The $45 charge was really nice also.

My poor technician is trying very hard to locate the part for my washer since it is an old machine. He is an excellent person.

Oven Range stopped heating. J&J tech came and replaced the ignitor. Good job.

A/C low on freon. They were on time. Quickly diagnosed the problem and fixed it. Very polite with a nice demeanor.

This was my first experience with Choice and it was great! I called the claims desk at 6:45 in the morning as my A/C was no longer blowing cold air and the temperature in the house was rising rapidly. I was given the name and number of a provider who I called immediately. He arrived at 9:30 AM and by 10:30 AM my A/C was up and running. There is no way you can get better service than that. Thanks Choice Warranty and your provider American Pride A/C Service.

They sent the repairman out in 1 day. The problem was fixed and covered by my Choice Warranty. The repairman was nice and I would give him too!

Choice Home Warranty is a life saver... My good friend Terri ** told me that I was crazy not to have a home warranty. She told me that Choice Home Warranty was the best - she was right! Our home is getting older, and I have never had a Home Warranty before... I didn't really know much about them, or who I could trust, with so many companies making empty promises. We have had problems with our disposal, and our garage door opener in the last month. The companies they sent out to fix them were fast, friendly, and did a great job!!! And it was easy to do. Great service. Just one call, no runaround... What a relief. Thanks so much Choice Home Warranty.

After the a/c being out for 4 days in 100 degree South Louisiana heat, they finally made a decision that the compressor is not covered because it wasn't "maintained" properly - by their definition. We have the unit serviced every year but they think the compressor is too close to the ground and gets dirty? Bottom line is it's an expensive repair and they don't want to pay for it. DO NOT use this company. There are lots more out there.

Choice Home Warranty was very helpful with my claim. They were able to send out a technician within a 24-hour period. Technician was very helpful, and able to take care of the issue.

Master Plumbers from Bradenton called me immediately after receiving my problem info. They came out the next day and replaced the garbage disposal. No problems at all. Phone call with Choice Warranty was easy and problem solved for timely.

My service call started off bumpy but ended well!!! The first company was a no show or call. I contacted Choice warranty and they also attempted to contact them and was unsuccessful. I had to wait 24 hrs and the 2nd company came out 1st thing in the morning and resolved my issue. Their technician was courteous and knowledgeable.

The service was handled professionally & quickly. The company that came was very professional & courteous. These qualities in a service are very appreciated!

Said they would replace fan but not apple for apple. My fan 200.00, what they wanted to put back a fun for 45.00.

Customer Service Rep. was very polite and courteous when claim was made. Held on while I got a pencil to take down information. Repairman called shortly after claim was made and told me the time he would be at my home. He was very prompt and courteous and listened while I described problem. He went straight to work to look at system to fix. I called him back the next day and he advised other things I needed to do, such as changing batteries in thermostat and filter if needed. He told me to call him back if I needed more help.

The best part I am writing about if my air ever goes down I want these people back again. This is how good, polite he was. Generations Heating & Cooling.

Choice Home Warranty assigned my claim to RPS Plumbing and Heating in Chalmette, LA. The owner and serviceman were both very courteous and friendly, and my issue was resolved. I was very happy with the service and I would recommend this contractor to others.

Fast, courteous service from both Choice Home Warranty representative and the JLBJ Septic Systems. We appreciated how quickly everything was taken care of.

The company came, checked the a/c. They decided it needed a new thermostat. They were nice, professional, courteous and it didn't take him long to get the thermostat in. So far everything seem to be working awesome.

I submitted a reimbursement claim for my AC unit. I had my local man checking my AC as I do on a yearly basis. He found my freon to be low and added the proper amount. Choice Home Warranty did reimburse me for the amount of the bill less my deductible which I felt was fair.

I had a fine experience reporting my claim. Very pleasant and helpful people at Choice. A little disappointed they could not find a service person on Saturday and had to wait till Tuesday for an appointment, but I had already lost all contents of freezer and refrigerator anyway.

This was my first service call with Choice Home Warranty. I couldn't be happier. The appointment was made at my earliest convenience, the repair tech came at the appointed time, and the repair was done quickly and correctly. The tech was extremely professional. The property is a condo we own, and CHW certainly made being a landlord much easier. The tenant was also very pleased with the promptness of the service.

Great service. My air went out around 2am Sunday morning. I called Home Choice around 4-4:30am to report the claim. The claim was assigned and I received service within 15 minutes of talking with the technician. I thought excellent service and so fast. Because of my house design, the technician gave me several other pointers to keep my house even cooler.

This is the 2nd claim I've made in 3 years. The last one was NOT approved for coverage. I was very pleased that this claim was actually covered. The prices went smoothly and repairs were made as promised. I am considering renewing my contact next year now.

A/C stopped working. Choice Home Warranty provided speedy service through a local A/C company. The problem was fixed the same day & we enjoyed a "COOL" house once again. Thank you Choice Home Warranty & your professional staff.

Sears was assigned to the repair. When service persona arrived the ignitor started working again. Two weeks later the ignitor stops working again. Sears called again to repair. Waiting now for a convenient date to meet service person. CHOICE is the best home warranty company I have ever worked with. I have worked with three other major companies in the last 12 years. By far CHOICE is the best. Their staff are polite and helpful. Online system seems to work well.

My air conditioner fan failed to turn one Sunday morning. Following troubleshooting instructions on an Youtube video, I suspected capacitor problem. Even though I could have gone myself all the way replacing it, that would take me a couple of hours and a trip to a store (and a chance that problem was not the capacitor after all). Paying flat service call fee is much more cost-effective option.

I had no air conditioning working, I only had the fan, that is my ceiling fans to try and keep cool. It did not take long for the tech to see my thermostat was not working. He was fast, thorough, mannerly, and a very pleasant young man. He also gave me suggestions on the right kind of filters to buy for the best results.

I have had two claims in last one and both time I got the great service from Choice home warranty. I got the service same day I have created the work order. I have already recommended choice home warranty to one of my friend and I got extra one month for my warranty. I will give 5 stars for Choice home warranty services.

Our AC unit was not working properly so we contacted CHW late in the evening and by early next morning, we received a call from a repair shop. They promptly came out to fix our unit. The temp was 106 degrees. Thanks so much!!

Probably the hottest day of the year, and I was out of town. My friend called and told me that my air was out. I called, and the next day, Bennet came out and fixed it. No problem. I paid my minor deductible, and presto - air was back on.

My experience with CHW has always been a very positive one. From the person I spoke with before purchasing the plan to the representatives I have dealt with when filing a claim through posting feedback about my experience with vendors. The highest amount of courtesy and professionalism is evident in all CHW employees I have dealt with. Concerns are addressed immediately and with superior knowledge of the program. I highly recommend CHW.

I had a great experience with the customer service. I just wish the service technician would have had a earlier spot available to fix my dryer.

I reported a bad AC. The person they sent was late - every time or did not show up at all. Did not do the repairs correctly the first time and Choice Home Warranty said the other repairs were not covered as they were secondary. When I pointed out the repairs were not done the first time and why was I not getting a refund, the liar at Choice Home Warranty changed her story to the first payment was "diagnostic." Pointing out if that were the case how could there be a secondary repair if the first one was only diagnostic, the liar went back to her script of this secondary repairs not being covered. Horrible and dishonest. Avoid this company.

The technician came to my house the very same day I put in the claim and was very effective and fast. Has resolved my problems immediately.

This is the 3rd claim they deny to pay for, stating on the 3 claims that it's rust and corrosion. They use individual contractors that they tell them what to say and write. This is a very bad company, all positive reviews are wrong, probably written by them. Don't ever use them, they will take your money and never pay for any claim, trust me. I usually don't write reviews but this time, I have too. Don't trust them or use them ever...

On all visits I received quality service.

They came in and fit and left. It is working great.

We discovered our hot water heater leaking from a valve and also from an outlet on top of the water heater. We placed a call to Choice Home Warranty and within an hour the repairman had made contact with us to set up an appointment for later in the day. Even though the issue with our hot water heater is not covered by Choice, the repairman was very prompt and knowledgeable and made recommendations to us and notified Choice of his findings. The next day Choice contacted us to go over the findings and to let us know that this issue is not a covered situation. We were very pleased with repairman and customer service at Choice.

I called the Choice Home Warranty claims team in the early evening hours to report my air conditioner problem. In less than an half hour I received a response from a repair service company. An appointment was set up for the next morning and a fan motor was then diagnosed as the problem. By early afternoon the replacement was complete. Both Choice Warranty and the service company kept informed during the process by phone or email. I was very satisfied with the quick response and professional service I received.

I have used appliances so I considered a smart decision to get Choice Home Warranty. Unfortunately I did not do my Google research to realize that "Choice Home Warranty" and "SCAM" are words that come up very often right next to each other. In my case I have this oven that was working properly then around ten days after my Choice Home Warranty contract started the oven would not shut off even when pressing the OFF button. So I made my claim. A courteous technician came and inspected the oven and told me that the panel was malfunctioning.

Plumbing line problem. Ajax Plumbing was out to fix it after just one day which was understandable. Since there were prior appointments already made. Came on the time they scheduled. Plumbing Tech was knowledgeable and friendly. Found my problem and fixed it at my property. Was happy with outcome. No other issues.

Customer Service was fast and friendly. No complaints.

My dryer was not heating. I called Choice Home Warranty and within 1/2 hour heard from a technician. It was 6:30 in the evening but he was not far from my house, on his way home and said he would stop by and check out what was wrong. It took him 2 hours but he repaired it on the spot. He cleaned the vent and behind the dryer too. Very professional, clean and polite. A wonderful experience!

Every time I have called Choice for a problem they have set it up for repair at once. I have had them come out about 6 times and it has always been prompt. They even replaced my micro oven at no cost to me. I really like their service and has been a big help to me. Thanks Choice.

Lou and Sons had come out and diagnosed my problem and let me know that the coils were dirty and needed cleaning. This was not covered under the warranty plan and I understood. I cleaned them and the freezer worked better afterwards, but not as before. I called Lou and Sons again and they did a follow up with me and Lou gave me more detailed effort on how to clean the coils more thoroughly. His thorough recheck, evaluation and advice was greatly appreciated and helpful!

The repair man arrived on time and was very professional. He presented his ID and business card before entering my home. He was polite. He was prepared and had all of the tools that he needed. He quickly identified the problem and shared it with me. He made the repairs and told me that if I have any further problem so, to please call him. He was very neat and cleaned up any trash made during the repair. He made sure that the air conditioner was working properly before leaving. He left me a receipt showing the repairs that he made. I was very pleased with him.

The customer service is excellent and available 24/7 to file a claim. Claim was processed immediately and I was sent the technician info in less than a hour. Service was usually completed within 24-48 hours. I have recommended this company to numerous friends and family.

This is the worst experience I have had. They show as #1 in customer satisfaction in their website. I took a chance and bought a warranty for peace of mind. My first claim with an ac compressor going out was denied. The tech who came to my house checked the system and told me that the unit was well maintained and in good condition.

The tech went above and beyond to fix the problem. Thanks to Worldwide Home Improvements, my refrigerator is working. CHW came through on my first time using them.

Had a problem with AC not cooling. Fixed, then broke again. Choice had no problem sending someone out again.

The technician came promptly to diagnose that the dishwasher can't be repaired. Upon which Choice promptly called back to give us a prorated cash option for the replacement of the unit. I think it was fair on the part of Choice to give us at least that option. Now I have the flexibility to buy the cheapest dishwasher brand new with very little contribution or buy an expensive one as I please. Keep it up folks.

Called Choice to have someone come out and fix my a/c unit, within three and a half hours my unit was fixed. They wasted no time and was very fast, this was a really hot day. In the past, with a different company it would take about 2 days if I was lucky! And they would always say they had to order the part. The company Choice sent out did not have the correct part with them but went and got it and still had everything fixed within 3 and a half hours from start to finish. Thanks for choosing a good company.

I called to file a claim on July 10. After several emails a service technician cannot be located 18 days later. I was given a service company yesterday and called and they said they will not work with Choice because they have outstanding bills. I was sold a 3-year warranty for $1,050.00 and a plumber can't be located in my area.

I switched from American Home Shield and have had nothing but trouble since then. This company finds ways out of paying for repairs and I have been rejected for two claims so far. Very rude and patronizing customer representatives. BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY!!!! I've spent thousands out of pocket so far!!!!

I agreed to pay $100.00 for priority service plus required service fee for same day service. The repair shop delivered. They were at my home within 6 hours of initial call. I was happy and cool within 2 hours. No money is too much for air condition in Houston, Texas in July.

We had a fairly minor, but annoying plumbing issue manifest itself about a month into moving into a new home. So far, Choice has been very responsive and the technician assigned to the case, very reasonable and attentive. No complaints. Nice not to have to deal with this maintenance issue ourselves so early into our tenure here.

Mr **, Eagle Quality Plumbing, was on time. Well equipped and got right to work and cleared the blockage problem. Thoroughly tested the drain to ensure everything functioned as it should. We couldn't be more pleased. Choice Home Warranty was very responsive to our need and facilitated the contact from Eagle Quality Plumbing within hours of our call to them.

They requested me to show 2 year AC maintenance receipts and I did provided them the 2 years AC maintenance and now they are asking 4 years AC maintenance receipts. I request others to be carefully when you sign up with Choice Home Warranty.

I had a issue with A/C tech. and wrote a letter. I had a manager call me on a Sunday a day after I sent the email following up on the issue. I was impressed. The warranty co. I had the year prior was terrible. They never replied to any emails or phone calls.

Our garbage disposer stopped working out of nowhere. I called to submit a claim. I received a call back less than an hour to be notified who was assigned my case. The tech immediately took action the same day for repairs.

I made my phone call early morning explaining what was happening with my A/C unit. By the end of the day it was fixed and running properly. Very satisfied with the service provided by D&D Air Conditioning and Heating Inc. And Choice Home Warranty service as well.

The plumber service was supposed to contact me before showing up, but he did not. Arrived before our agreed-upon time.

I placed a request for service 3:45 AM and received confirmation of order by 7:30. Serviceman was at my home by 12 noon, same day as the request. AC was repaired and we are happy customers. Never received such a rapid response for service from a home warranty company. Thank you very much for your rapid response. The Texas heat is very hard to endure again. Thank you.

Choice was outstanding with helping me. When my air conditioner went out, they sent out a company that was able to fix my problem.

I called Choice Warranty and within 5 minutes they had a repairman scheduled to come out to fix my problem. I was impressed with the quick response and the helpfulness of the technician that came out to fix my problem. I am very pleased with the service of Choice Warranty and their repair people.

I put in a request to have a leak in my kitchen repaired. It turned out the issue is not covered. However, the agent accommodated my request. This was fix and is working as new.

We called Choice Warranty late in the night. By the next morning they had a vendor waiting to fix our problem. The chosen heating and cooling company fixed our problem immediately. They were both professional and kind. All parts to fix our breakage was approved hassle free.

I had a warranty with another company for many years but they kept increasing their price every year so I decided to shop around. Am I glad I did! I got a much better rate with Choice and have just used their service for the first time. I called and spoke with an extremely polite, knowledgeable and helpful girl who immediately set up a service call to take care of my issue. She said the company would contact me within an hour to schedule an appointment (with the previous company, it was 4 hours). I had no sooner hung up the phone and they called! And then they had someone to my house within an hour! NOW THAT IS WHAT I CALL SERVICE! Plus, the first service call is FREE! It doesn't get better than that.

Air went out overnight. Called Choice. Set me up with repairman. I called to confirm appointment. Came same day. Got my air back on. Had to replace fan service. Technician Brad was courtesy and very quick getting replaced and my air back on. In matter of hours temp was 97 and 107 humidity. Thanks Choice and big thanks to Brad at Blake's heating and air conditioning.

We have used the warranty several times and have been satisfied every time with the warrant covering our issues. We would recommend this warranty!

I called for service to get my stove repaired late on a Thursday afternoon. I was shocked when Choice referred me to a company that came to check out my stove on a Saturday. The stove was repaired after a part was ordered and I want to thank CHW for the prompt service.

I had a very professional technician who was excellent in customer service and an expert in plumbing. Hope the majority of your technicians are like this guy. He was wonderful.

Scott and another young man came in and repaired the problem in a short time. I was surprised to see them because I had told the company that I could wait until the next day. I have referred Choice to several friends. I am extremely pleased with the service of the plumber and Choice.

This is the worst home warranty company I have ever had, and we have had home warranty coverage for 20 years. We have had them since March, and had a plumbing leak, as well as a hot water heater breakdown. For the plumbing leak, they denied the claim, and I was out the deductible of $60. I called their customer service line and argued with several people, and they admitted they denied the claim, and sent me a reimbursement check for $134. This was around $75 less than what it cost to get it repaired, as I now had to call another plumber on my own. After that, we had our hot water heater go out. Once again, the plumber came out, and the claim was denied. Apparently they don't cover hot water heaters, only the element. Once again, I have to pay the plumber $60 for the deductible, and the claim is denied. These people are a bunch of thieves.

I had a plumbing stoppage in my rental property. I called my Choice Home Warranty and they told me a technician would call me within an hour. They called me quickly and scheduled work for the next day. The technician showed up the next day as he promised and took care of the problem quickly. This is my first year with Choice and I will definitely renew!

This was our first service claim with CHW. Our air died on a 95 degree,103 heat factor, Saturday. We called and requested service. The provider did not return our phone call and VM stated they were open M-F. We called back and got permission to call another air company. They came out on Sunday and was fixed by the afternoon. We were offered a partial refund to our service bill. I was pleased with that. Most important was our air was fixed within 24 hours and not waiting until Monday to even set up an appointment.

Scott from Blue Star Heating and AC came and charged the system with refrigerant.

I was very pleased with the work performed by R&L Envirocare. The Technician was very professional and knowledgeable about the task at hand.

I had a different home warranty company for years but was not happy so I found Choice Home Warranty. I had to use the policy several times and was very pleased with the service, both the courteousness from the employees at Choice Home Warranty as well as the last vendor All State Electric. They were professional and completed the work.

This was my first claim since I changed from American Home Warranty on the first of several properties. The wait time on the phone was short. The response time from the assigned vendor was less than a half hour to schedule for early the next morning. They were on time and it was fixed within the hour.

My air conditioner just stopped working. The fan wouldn't even come on. It was the condenser. I received a call within a few hours of when I made my claim. He was so nice and tried so hard to get me in quickly. He was out within 30 hrs and he was amazing. My tech came in and had it diagnosed and fixed in no time. I know Choice Home Warranty is the best decision I have made in regards to my home. I LOVE it and have recommended to everyone I know. What a life saver!

RIPOFF, Company of Thieves, Deceptive Crooks! I had Choice Home Warranty for eight months. Today I am cancelling the service losing my $ 470 for nothing. I would give them a minus review. I have called for two items both of them they refused stating exclusions and lack of maintenance. Please save your money and take a company that is registered with BBB, do not sign up with this company. You will be disappointed and wasting the money. I was deceived by the false ratings of this company, stay away from the thieves. These are deceptive crooks who do not know what is meant by customer service.

Was Saturday, July 18th 2015. I did submit my claim and CHW team did everything possible to fix my air conditioning. By Tuesday, technician came and fix.

I had an A/C unit freeze up and needed help quick. I live in Arizona and the average temp right now is 110 July 20th. Quick professional service... My A/C was up and running in about 28 hours after it died. Thanks Choice.

I use Choice Home Warranty for the first time on Tuesday. My air conditioning had stop work about 9pm that evening. I call Choice Home Warranty leery how they can help me that late in the evening. I spoke to their service representative who was very professional and caring, who took my information and said, "We will call you once your claim is process." All I could think to myself it's going to be a hot week or longer. All I could think of doing was getting my family together (three children, ages one to three) and staying with family. To my amazement, Choice Home Warranty got in touch with early in the morning and my air conditioning was up and working by noon. The repairman was professional and courteous. Great Service. Will recommend this service to friends and family and strangers. Thank You Choice Home Warranty.

Be careful: Choice Home Warranty is a scam!!! They refuse to pay the companies that come out for the claims and they refuse to pay for the claim and offered us $300.00 for a $1300 washer that was less than 3 years old. When I got the plan it cost $1250 for 3 years. When I canceled the policy they prorated the plan to $59.00 per month of the 10 months we had the policy. The service fee on the dryer claim was $400.00 and they charged us that fee and an additional fee of $50.00. So for my $1250.00, I will receive back $200.00. WHAT A RACKET and I am not the only person taken to the cleaners.

Rainey Day Climate Control Company responded within one hour and dispatched service quickly. Parts were ordered and installed within 48 hrs. The technician Robert was very knowledgeable and friendly. The system is now working perfectly.

I have had this product for three years six months and am very happy with the service they supplied. Purchasing the service for a three year period, was much lower than the one year price, plus they added six months to the service. Also the service charge fee is considerably less than other home services I checked on. I've had a good experience with Home Choice and would recommend it everyone.

First serviceman sent Wed. did not diagnose the problem and lied to you about what was wrong with our A/C. The back and forth calls getting our problem resolved was exhausting as for our A/C was out Wed. and until 5:00 PM Thurs. When the second serviceman was sent to us from Sheerkahn Services (Sub Contractor) who diagnosed the problem in one minute changed a Capacitor and everything works fine. Do not use Jamerds Engineering on any of your A/C jobs in the future.

On the evening of July 16th 2015 I submitted a request for a/c service online and received a claim #. Shortly before 8 am the next morning I received a call from CHW with instructions to call Family Heating & Air to set up an appointment for service. Before I could make that call I received a call from Family Heating & Air stating they would be at my home at 9 am. I met the serviceman at 9 am and he determined that the A/C was low on Freon. He and his assistant recharged the unit with the needed Freon, tightened a valve that was leaking, and made sure the unit was running to my satisfaction. The entire repair was completed quickly and efficiently. I am very pleased and will continue recommending CHW to family and friends.

Very satisfactory as a first time user. Customer service was excellent and the technician they sent to my home (Taylor Mechanical) was efficient, clean and worked very hard.

If you have a tiny repair, you "might" be ok. But anything major, they will blame the issue on you and deny your claim. They say you should have maintained the product... as if you're a professional. No need for me to go into lengthy details, it's all been said about this scamming company and their horrible customer service reps/contracted repairmen 10,0000 times on these review boards. I warn you, they will find a way to deny any major claim and there's nothing you can do. Oh and the workers that arrive, always late, will add on fees that just happen to been missed ahead of time. Pay a little more and use a real company please.

They came right out and fix the air unit.

Claim was put in on 7/16, it was assigned on 7/17 and we made an appt. for the 21st. The technician was very quick after he identified that the disposal need to be replaced. We were very satisfied.

My A/C went out on one of the hottest weekends of the year. I contacted Choice immediately and within hour a repair services was in touch with us. They made every attempt to come over the weekend, but was at my house at 8am Monday morning. The technician put my frustration to ease. Choice Home Warranty saved me a fortune! Thanks.
