Do not use this company. Frank is a scumbag, they lie to you and very unprofessional. These immigrants from Ukraine and Russia to pack and move your items and an Enterprise truck to move your stuff. The quote of the delivery changed when they arrived and I was forced to pay 1000 more. They picked up my stuff on September second and I did not receive my items until October 10th. Most my items were damaged and they lost several of my items. Never use this company. There should be a lawsuit against them.

Also spoke to Frank and they were able to schedule me for the following morning (02OCT). Two men showed up and they were good with the general pack-up and moving activities. By the end of the day when we were going through paperwork and payment I was told that my things were going to be delivered out of state the same day. That was not a part of the plan; I needed my things brought to my destination on the 6th of October for the next part of my move. It's the 10th of October and I not only haven't received a call about delivery, but every time I call I get the same, "We don't know when it will be delivered, it's up to the scheduler."
I have a flight out by the end of the week and still have no idea when my things will arrive or how that's going to work out logistically as I'll be out of the country. Definitely a scammy company and I won't even go into the overcharging aspects. I just want my personal items back, especially as my medications for the rest of the month are in there. 0/10, would not recommend this company.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. I wish I could give no stars or even negative stars. I dealt with Luke who gave me my initial estimate September 16, 2024 and did inform me that the value would change based off of how much stuff I actually had. I was told I would get a call that following Friday to confirm my Sunday or Monday move. Come Friday no call. Saturday Diane called late afternoon to tell me my move was scheduled for Monday because they couldn't show up Sunday. Monday comes and I'm waiting for these people to show up. I get a call from Diane last minute like 30 minutes before the window she gave me to say the drivers' truck broke down and they would show up Tuesday. Mind you, I am closing on my house Wednesday and have to be out by then.
Tuesday rolls around and I had to take 2 days off work at this point which I cannot afford to do. Tuesday they are no shows again and this time I had to call Diane and she told me they were still driving from South Florida to Virginia and would be in Virginia that Tuesday night at 9pm and would show up 8AM SHARP. That's what she said. She didn't give a moving window that time but a specific time.
Wednesday comes and I have to close on my property and be out of the house and had a medical appointment I absolutely couldn't miss or reschedule. I get a call from the driver at 8:15am saying he wouldn't be able to show up at 10am. I said "What do you mean? You're already late you were supposed to be here 15 minutes ago because that's what Diane said. She said you would rest Tuesday night in VA and show up early in the morning." He replied, "I never said that. I told her we would be in North Carolina 9pm Tuesday and show up at 10am to your place."
Diane lied. I call her and she was extremely rude to me and said she didn't lie, that's what he told her and that was what the information she was given and that there's nothing she can do except give $100 of compensation for all the delays. She said she never gave me a specific time, that she would never do that but that she said 8-10am. Doesn't matter! because even so your guys didn't show up until 11am! I had an appointment at 1230!
They also didn't even show up in a company van! It was an enterprise van with a piece of paper taped saying "Alliance Movers". Given how late they showed up and my upcoming appointment, I had no choice but forced to leave these strange men alone in my home for an hour and a half so I could get medically evaluated. Luckily they didn't steal anything valuable to me. But before I left for my appointment he said he would be done before I got back and to just sign the paperwork. I was in such a rush to make my appointment I just signed but I knew he wouldn't finish before I got back. It was impossible. They hadn't even gotten to packing the furniture yet!!!
They started at 11am and didn't finish until 6pm. I had a small condo and it took them forever to back everything. The sketchy part was he had me sign and already pre chose the liability form and wouldn't let me have the option one that says the company is responsible for replacing the monetary value of the items damaged or broken. He made me choose option 2 60 cents per pound of the item! The guy packing taped the screws to the inner cabinet and I told him that it wouldn't stay and that he should put it in a plastic bag and tape it in to ensure the screws wouldn't get lost. He pretty much gaslit me telling me I shouldn't worry, he has done it so many times and I worry too much. I didn't trust my gut as I should have because he did a really shabby job packing my things working fast but sloppy.
It was at this point I wanted to cancel the move altogether but saw the contract about cancellations and how they would charge FULL PRICE for the estimated move!!! I decided to go ahead and just give the benefit of the doubt, I didn't have time to wait for another company I needed to be out THAT DAY. So, he asks me when I want my items delivered. I said October 14th, 2024 because that was the day I'd get the keys to my home in Florida and can move in. He said nothing about first available day and 30 days from the day I give. He also completely forgot to have me pay for the pick up. No one called me for the money. I had to reach out because they don't schedule your move until you pay. At this point, I had already chewed Diane out and wanted nothing to do with her or her attitude. Her manager Lily reaches out not speaking great or coherent English. I tell her I'll pay and I do.
Fast forward.... Come October 13th I call because I had yet to receive a confirmation call about my things being delivered the next day the 14th, this Is where my mother jumps in and we have Lily on speaker lying straight through her teeth about how I didn't call or communicate and telling us about anytime after the 14th I'll get my things but not on the 14th and then blatantly says "We absolutely conduct our services based off of our convenience and not the customer." WHAT?! I then get into a screaming match with this woman about getting her facts straight on the nightmare it was to pick up my things, having her people be no shows 3 times and that I had to call multiple times and I received unprofessionalism from Diane, huge attitude, etc. She hangs up on us after getting really nasty with us and super unprofessional as well.
Days go by and I get a call on Sunday October 20th, 2024 from the driver named Isaac that he was 2 hours away with my things and that he knows he was supposed to give 24 hrs advance but... "sorry"?? I said, "Um no. You can come tomorrow morning because absolutely not. 1) I'm busy today and 2) as you said "this is last minute and unprofessional." He agreed to come Monday morning at 10am and showed up. It was a man and his son which I'm hoping was 18 or above because that would be child labor and I was genuinely concerned. Clearly Alliance movers don't have their own employers they pay but hire outside help and lots of them don't speak English well.
The guy tried to replace missing screws (which I knew would happen as I heard them freely rolling around and falling in the truck and driveway) with his own screws and told me "Doesn't matter if it's the exact one, just that it stands up right and still." NO. What matters is that you don't lose my stuff in the first place!!!! I got my stuff damaged and even missing. My nightstand is missing and I tried calling Lily about my TV broken, shattered fish tanks, broken and dented kitchen items and busted headboard and dining table as well as the missing screws. She hung up on me twice. She texted me she would have Diane send an email to make a claim. Come to find out that claim does NOTHING!!! because in fine print they say they aren't liable to pretty much anything! Nothing broken or missing so I'm just out thousands of dollars on broken items.
I was waiting to be done with this company to write this review and as a military member, I know a lot of their customers are probably military, I will MAKE SURE NO MILITARY MEMBER EVER uses this company. I know a lot of people and rest assured they are going to have zero customers from VA or FL that are military. WORST COMPANY EVER. Unprofessional, lying scammers. Worst experience ever and genuinely traumatized from this company. I will warn anyone who will listen be it military or civilian. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

This moving company was terrible. I called in Jan for a June move and thought I had hired great movers but a week before my move I was informed the person that quoted me "no longer worked there" and they had none of my info. I was made out to be the bad guy because all the info I had given him about my storage units wasn't in my file. The movers charged me more than the original quote because they didn't have my info, plus, made me sign that I would give them a 20% tip. When it came time to deliver they wouldn't give me a date until last minute. The first person showed up late at my storage unit and then only was one person. How can one person move furniture upstairs.
I didn't let him move my stuff as he informed me when he surprisingly found out I have stairs that he was keeping my stuff overnight and delivering the next morning after he called someone new in from Craig's List! He refused to tag my boxes like they're supposed to so it was a no go for me. I had plans the following day and moving wasn't going to work that day. Two days later they suddenly told me they were delivering so I once again met them at my storage unit only to find one guy of two had broken ribs and couldn't lift anything. They were expecting another person who showed up at the very end of the unloading of my storage unit.
I watched as they placed a tall stack of wobbly boxes on the lift gate of the truck, all marked with fragile stickers, and started lifting the gate as my boxes were swaying back and forth and almost fell until I yelled to stop and they grabbed the boxes. I found one box with a bunch of broken dishes in the top. Of course it's not covered unless they pack it but it was so well packed, I use a ton of packing paper and bubble wrap. I'm sure it fell off of the lift gate and that's why they were broken. They were well packed but not packed for a high fall. The one guy that was brought in was like a bull in a China shop just shoving my things all over with little regard for my new house. My new walls are a total mess from these guys and most of what they delivered was boxes.
I had a house full of furniture delivered 3 days prior and not a mark on my walls. I had floor protection down on floors and stairs and constantly asked if they were OK rolling the hand truck with heavy boxes up the stairs and they insisted yes, it had air tires, but each stair now has 2 dents where the tires from that hand truck went clunking up my stairs despite my questioning it. Boxes came in upside down despite arrows on the boxes saying "this side up". I'm surprised more of my things weren't damaged. Would never ever use this company again. It was very stressful dealing with them and the guy leaving the company story really felt like a bait and switch to charge me more.

My Alliance moving and storage experience was marked by epic highs and lows, so read on for full details.
Low: To accommodate an exact delivery state for my stuff, the moving truck had to come 48 hours after I booked it. Also, the first representative I spoke to took a very different inventory than the one I listed.
High: Angel and his team were extremely swift and professional in moving me out.
Low: One of them peed all over my bathroom floor. Like, a lot.
High: Tiffany V. was extremely helpful throughout the process.
Low: The truck came a day early and I was quoted the wrong rate at delivery time. I had to undertake a lengthy intervention to turn both issues around.
All in all, a mixed bag.

We spoke with Darrin on December 2, 2023. He quoted us $6800 to move from Seminole FL to Ohio also stated it would take the drivers 3 days to deliver to Ohio… Darrin lies... Once, the movers came on December 15. They would not load until we paid them $2000 more. We paid because we had to be out of our sold home by Dec 18. Also don’t expect an Alliance Truck. They outsource and it’s a box truck with a piece of paper taped to doors!!! The movers were quick… but after the truck was loaded they stated a dispatcher will contact us with a delivery date and they took all our belongings to a warehouse in Georgia... which we didn’t know. Every time I called or texted Alliance I'd get the same answers that the dispatcher is working on it and a driver will call the night before deliver… We waited until January 18, 2024 for delivery.
The driver showed up with no helper. He spoke very little English, he and the Alliance dispatcher demanded $2340 before unloading our things...and my husband which has a bad back had to help the driver with unloading the bigger items We paid for full delivery set up and assembly. We got a drop off and leave mostly!!! I’ve tried contacting the company but I get no return response!!! BEWARE OF THIS LYING HORRIBLE COMPANY, DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY FOR A MOVE. I AM VERY UPSET. Worst experience of my life!!! Lots of damaged boxes. I am still to get a response from this company!!!

My husband and myself spoke to salesman Frank on several occasions. We had a big move and he promised us two trucks, two crews and the move would be completed in a day and a half and free storage for the 10 days we needed until our new home would be ready. I asked specifically if they outsourced trucks or employees and he said absolutely not. We told him our move out and move in days and he said no problem they would schedule it. What we got was an enterprise truck with a piece of paper taped to it that said Alliance Movers, only 3/4 was empty, 1/4 was filled with another move from Kentucky, which arrived a full day after I was promised.
When I called the company to see what was going on because I had a deadline and my closing on my home was the next day, Nancy acted like there was nothing she could do. I said, "2 men will never get this move completed on time. I need to speak with a supervisor." After being hung up on and sent to voicemails I used another phone and got “supervisor“ Lily. She was very rude and flat out lied to me. She told me Frank would never guarantee 2 trucks and 2 teams. Then told me that the moving supervisor at my house told her he didn’t need another truck or more guys because that would slow him down to go rent one. Well I had her on speakerphone and he heard her and said “no I never said that”. They lie and say whatever will stick to shut the customer up.
When I was stressing the time frame and that I needed to be out of the house that night she told me that they don’t guarantee the dates. They have a “DELIVERY WINDOW”. I said, "No. Frank assured me you guys could do it," and she said no. Dispatch wouldn’t get another truck. That was the first I ever heard the term “delivery window” during any calls or in the electronic contract I signed. Then 2 men started arriving to help. Soon after they were coming up to me saying they were hired from Craigslist and if I paid them extra and rented a truck they would work through the night. I said “I’m already paying thousands of dollars to this company for that exact same thing!!"
So I called Lily and asked why were outsourced workers in my home. She said “oh no we don’t outsource.” I said, "Yes you do. They just told me they are from Craigslist and asked me for more money!" Then she blamed the moving supervisor who was busy moving everything saying it was him who hired them, while he told me they place the ad and use his name and number to get him help. The next day the same 3/4 empty truck and two guys. The same two Craigslist guys showed up the next morning before the truck. They said they weren’t paid well. Basically trying to get me to compensate which I told them I’m not paying anything. They agreed to the amount so it’s on them not me. So they walked off the job 20 minutes later.
Then when the 2 actual Alliance workers went to take a load to the storage a “helper” showed up, introduced himself, gave the right names so I knew he had been talking to the move supervisor. He started getting things from the basement for when they returned. 30 minutes later we notice he pulled into our driveway then left. Well he stole some very valuable and sentimental stuff and we had to call the police and file a report. I called Lily distraught asking what her company was going to do about it all this. They wouldn’t return my multiple messages all day. Then at the end of the day she calls and says they were giving me a discount which didn’t even equal the amount of my stolen property let alone the extra $1000 I had to pay to rent the house back!
I had to reschedule our settlement twice and almost lost our buyer. We had to close as they were going to lose their rate lock and we had to pay $1000 to rent our home back for 2 days for these 2 guys to get this move done. The move took FOUR days! Then when they had ALL of our things I get the paperwork to sign that says because of the size of the move our estimate was almost DOUBLED!! I said no way. I can’t pay that, that’s not my fault Frank gave such an incompetent estimate. We were completely honest at the amount of things we had and my husband walked the property and house telling Frank everything. Then I was told, "Well you have to take it up with the office. If you don’t pay they will move your stuff to a storage unit and you will have to pay for that unit for 40 days and pay us or your things will be auctioned." I was stunned. They were literally holding our possessions hostage.
This was the biggest scam I’ve ever fell victim to. IT WAS EXTORTION! I partially paid and told them I would pay in full when All my things were delivered. Well they refused to schedule a delivery until I paid. So then I began to worry if they were going to deliver in time. I called Nancy, I called Lily begging to have it set up for the correct day because I have two adult disabled children and a disabled mother in law who need their durable medical equipment so they can maneuver through the house and bathe. I was told they would do their best no guarantees.
We move in, no truck. I call, heard Frank in the background say “I'm not talking to her“ then hung up. I left messages. It was a Monday, Lily called and said Wednesday. We had to go buy air mattresses that no one could sleep well on or get up from due to disabilities. My mother in law rolled off and smashed her nose on the floor and hurt her arm. They didn’t show on Wednesday. I called multiple times, got Lily, told her about my mom’s injuries and that we need our things. Told Thursday or Friday. Friday night told Saturday or Sunday. Monday morning I had to hire a lawyer to send a letter.
Finally got our things Wednesday. One guy, one truck. Took him 4 days! One helper showed up. I questioned him extensively about how he was hired. He was not through Craigslist and at this point I had no option but to let him help the driver. Multiple pieces of solid wood furniture were very damaged. FYI Alliance only pays $.60 cents a pound unless you pay them an exorbitant amount for insurance at the beginning. My family and myself are so traumatized by this whole experience. Do not buy into their sales pitch. They are liars and scammers. My lawyer said everything in their contract is written to protect them and not the consumer or their possessions. If you have to hire a company like I had to my lawyer informed me to use local smaller companies that built themselves from a family business and have a good reputation to protect.

Moved a 2 bedroom household from Thunder Bay to Vancouver. In summary, my experience with Alliance was harrowing and they lacked accountability. They are a third-party mover that contracts with different companies which adds many layers, and total disarray. Check the contract carefully since what you are told on the phone is likely not in the contract The contract is very brief and totally one-sided.
Get everything in writing. Near the day of the move I was told that packers would arrive between 8 AM AND 4 PM and movers would arrive after it was all packed. After paying $1500 for professional packing I expected thorough packing. No packers arrived and at 330 PM I phoned and was told a 53 foot truck was on its way and the movers were the packers. They finally arrived at 9 PM looked at the job and decided they would come back the next day. The movers did a good job and worked hard and at 5 Pm the next day they were finished and said they were off to Toronto, not to Vancouver, where the goods would be put in a warehouse, later the furniture would be loaded on a train and sent to a warehouse in Vancouver where it was unloaded again. This was news to us and now our possessions would be loaded and unloaded seven times.
We were fully paid by credit card and e-transfer then 2 weeks later some local movers arrived who said they need the credit card and cardholder present or they cannot unload. The card holder was not here so I had to e-transfer $1750 or they would not unload. I would not recommend Alliance Movers to anyone since a move is stressful enough and Alliance will tell you one thing and do another adding more anxiety. I didn’t feel they were helping with the move and seemed to have their own agenda and were dismissive regarding any of my concerns.

This company uses a salesman- Frank - to make the deal and promised that my elderly mom's stuff would be moved from PA to CA in 7-10 days. He promised that even though there were some poor reviews on company, to not worry he would “take care of us”. Justin came and packed her small household into the moving van and said the same promises7-10 days. Little did we know that mom's stuff would now go from PA to NJ to NC to a warehouse in FL where it now sits!! In the meantime my elderly mom is in an empty apt., sleeping on an air mattress without her items.
Numerous calls to company and texts. Nancy keeps telling us they are trying to arrange with dispatch to hook our load up with one coming this way. She also insists that the very long contract has a line item that states they have 21 business days to deliver goods!!! This was never told to us. Numerous calls provide no answers. They have 2/3 of the money and no delivery in sight. They misrepresented themselves and we should have checked all these reviews and stayed away! Alliance contracted with a 3rd party mover. The pickup was performed by a different smaller truck than what arrived at the destination. When the van arrived, there was a hole in the roof of the van and rain/snow had gotten onto our mattress and "soaked" it. There were 8 boxes missing. There were also 3 boxes/items that didn't belong to us, that were on the van. When contacting Alliance Movers, they fell back on the excuse that I had not purchased insurance. They took no responsibility for the van condition, lost items or numerous scratches/dent in furniture. The 3rd party mover went out of business within 1 month of our move.

This is the worst moving company. Whatever you do, do not use this company. Please read their contract and read it again. If you are quoted a price you can bet it will cost you a lot more money. If they break something, they refund the cost by weight not value that's if you can get the refund. I received two checks that bounced and took 3 months to finally get compensation that didn't come close to the value of the furniture they broke. I could go on and on about my experience but then again it's my time I am wasting. Please think long and hard before you hire these people.

As many have said, if I could give negative stars I would. They breached the contract on 5 terms, over $9000.00 in damaged goods and costs we paid to have our furniture moved into the house from the driveway or the garage. They held goods for ransom, threatened to drop the stuff in driveway, Scammed us on the price but then failed to even give us an inventory of the goods listed as being delivered. The second truck they sent (Due to them failing to send a truck that could handle the items on the original inventory) which cost us well over $8000.00 above the original estimate amounted to hostage taking of our goods.
They put a bed frame through my 27" Imac computer as they had put it in the truck unwrapped. The driver of the second truck showed up with no crew to unload on a Sunday. As a disabled Veteran I had to help unload the damaged goods from the rental truck the driver showed up in. Do not under any circumstances trust Benjamin ** (The Alliance Rep) or Ann **, the so called Customer Rep at Alliance, Whatever you do, do not believe or trust Conor, the sales rep.
These two companies are a nightmare. They hired a fly by night company out of St. Louis, MO that went by the name of Secure and Protected Moving LLC, The Contract company berated us, threatened to hold our goods hostage, threatened to dump our belongings in the driveway, The damage to our furniture was extensive, the customer service from both Alliance and Secure and Protected was a joke. They have countless BBB complaints and would not even answer the BBB in both Florida and St. Louis. I cannot stress this enough, Ann ** the so called customer service rep will do nothing to help resolve your issues if you are unlucky enough to hire these people, she has no intention of representing the customer, she is there to defend the fly by night people at companies they hire as contractors, Steer clear unless you want to see you wallet empty and your belongings destroyed!!!!

When the driver got there he uploaded my items and the next thing I knew is that I was owing them $6000!!!! When I called them, they said that the inventory list they had looks nothing like what I had and that they had to charge me extra, so I refused to pay because if only they had let me know before loading my items that there was gonna be changes I will had NEVER agree to the price because it was something I could not afford.
So they had my items hold for weeks and on top of that they told me I had to pay for the storage where my items were being held which is ridiculous because I had never agree to any of this. They refused to gave back my items saying I had to pay another percentage of the amount since they had already loaded everything (without my concern) and when I finally got my items back I had a lot of broken stuff but they didn’t care at all. I cant tell you about the movers and timeliness and scheduling, but I can tell you that I signed their "cancel" anytime 15 page contract. But when I realized I would be downsizing and chose to go another route, I called and asked them to cancel. This took 3 tries to get my 4k back. They finally said they would "forward the cancel request" to the proper department. After they slow walked the entire process, I decided to goto my bank and request a charge back... Bad idea. They have an inclusion in the contract specifically for this case. They fight the charge-back for three months to the bitter end and took $700 for doing nothing. Be wary of companies asking for a 50% deposit. Ensure they are the actual moving company. They broker moving folks and take 30% of the proceeds. I do NOT recommend this company and suggest anyone research what they are doing before the sign. Moving is already a stressful task. Dont make it any worse for yourself.

Free storage to them is when they are transporting your things. They multiply the amount of regular storage. They threaten to sell your things if you try to resolve the issues with them. Please the price they quote is not true. By the time you receive your things, you would have ended up paying double the price they gave.

The movers showed up the day of the move and refused to load due to the amount of items compared to the company's quote. I begged him to take the weight agreed to in the contract and he refused and drove away. He said that every time he goes to residential the quote is way way below and that the company is a liar.
Our house was sold and we had to be out by the end of the weekend. We had to scramble to find U-Hauls and drivers to get us to our destination. We also had to find help to load and hire help on the other end of the move in Missouri. This was a complete nightmare for us. Please save your self this torment and don't use this company. We ask for our money back and they refused. We were told that they are just a brokerage company and not responsible for the movers. When I think of dishonest ways to make money I guess this is a pretty good one.

I had scheduled our move from Placentia to Phoenix with Alliance Movers for $5,300 to be accomplished this morning. The deal was they were going to take everything in the inventory we gave them and bring 60 boxes, 20 large, 20 medium and 20 small, to pack our household and garage contents because we are elderly and I am a Disabled Veteran. 2 guys show up in a box truck and say they didn't bring any boxes and if we want them to bring boxes and pack them it will be an additional $6,000! I told them to get out of our house. Then their dispatcher starts calling me and saying they never agreed to packing anything and I told them I had been very specific about this, on Three Separate Occasions. Now they won't refund our $1,339 earnest money. Don't ever do business with Alliance movers! They are THIEVES!

Made contract to move over a month before move. Originally thought going to North Carolina. Found next week was Alabama and only 97 miles one way. Took 4 days of repeated calls, changed and was charged extra money for change. Aware of all things to be moved EXACT weight and type of furniture. Day before to move was called and told no movers would not be there between 9 and 11 next am, would be the next day. Movers were to be there 8 to 9 am. Mover called said they would be there at 9 am at 8 am. Showed up after 10:30 am. I had packed and moved much myself.
Moved 2 bedroom suites with queen mattress each one armoire, one Caesar wardrobe and one “hope chest”. One washer and dryer front loads on pedestals and one sofa, one chair with ottoman. Cost was 4500 dollars. Nicole from Alliance suggested cash. Justin had also suggested “cash”. Receipt was much less than paid and when they got it loaded wanted 3100 dollars more than the 1500 paid and estimate was 1100 due. That is 2000 more dollars than estimate.
Run from Alliance! Movers were from Douglasville, GA they said. Left wadded tape under the queen mattress/bed. Never even unrolled the rug they taped up. The others I had carried days before. Boxes from tv and mirrors which I had ordered and paid for from Amazon all over the house. Damaged stuff and walls. Disgusting! I am older woman that should not be held up when you load my furniture and demand 2000 more dollars. I moved lawn mower, equipment, end tables, lamps, all the things I could. Very little and truck half full. Warning honesty and integrity is not a part of anyone with Alliance!

We spoke with Justin at Alliance Moving and Storage. We were given a binding moving estimate and ask to put down a deposit which we did on Friday and after discussing with my husband we decided that we needed to make other arrangements. So I tried to contact Justin on Saturday morning and the office was closed so I emailed him. (This was done within the 48 hour cancellation) I have emailed him three times since but no response as to a refund. Our request was done within the 48 hour cancellation request. As of this date no correspondence from Justin or his company. Our deposit was $1,000.00. All we are asking is a answer to our request for a refund and cancellation.

If I can give this company zero instead of one I absolutely would. SCAMMERS. This incompetent salesperson quoted me $7000 to move from Texas to Virginia which I agreed to after I showed him thoroughly what needs to be moved. On the day of the move they sent this rude, intimidating unprofessional creature and he gave me a different quote of $22000. And he was threatening me if I don’t pay he will stop working and leave. My flight was booked and my house was sold and my closing date was only two days away. I was very stressed and scared especially being a widow by myself with nobody around for support. I reported them to BBB and filed a complaint. This company needs to be shut down. Do not deal with these SCAMMERS.

I agreed with the Alliance moving and storage company to take my stuff from Boston/MA to Little Rock/AR. First of all, I must say that this company does not deal with moving and all these pictures are fake. They work with Boost Express Van lines moving company. People from Boost van lines came to pick up my stuff not Alliance. They picked up my stuff on May 28th and when they asked for the delivery date we agreed on June 1st so I rushed and went to Little Rock that day only to find nothing. It is so hard to reach them and when they say they will call back they never do!
On June 1st, I talked with the representative from Boost van lines and the lady said that my stuff was in New Jersey and told me to wait around 5-10 days and so did I. After two weeks, they emailed me saying that my stuff still has not departed and that they are looking for an available driver who is willing to deliver my stuff!!! After that period they stopped picking up my calls so I called Alliance company to see what the hell is going on. I talked with the supervisor, he said he will call the company to get an update and call me back and guess what he never did!
I called the next day a representative who I talked to first when I was agreeing on a deal, he said a delivery can take 30 days but at first they said they could deliver it in 5-7 days and promised to deliver it in June 1st and made me rush so now I am in Little Rock sitting in a empty apartment with no stuff! Nobody is giving me an explanation about what happened to my furniture and I feel that I have been robbed. They took my money and the delivery never happened. If I had the option to give zero stars, I would not even give one star for this company, I am not sure if they are a legit company. Don’t work with them!!

The sales person harassed me with calls before I told her she was annoying (calling back when I denied call). She called me over and over again. When I told her that she responded with profanity. Manager said that he instructs them to call non stop till you pick up and said it was my fault she was rude. Would never do business with a place like this, also just look at the reviews, they're a terrible company clearly.

They gave me a bid for a certain price then the price tripled as they were loading the truck. When I received my belongings the boxes were smashed. There was scratching on my furniture. I tried to contact them by leaving phone messages and a terrible review. No one ever returned my call and they didn't offer to reimburse for my broken items. When the truck arrived they were tossing my things off the truck. They didn't have a ramp to bring things down from the truck. The worst experience ever.

I STRONGLY encourage you to stay AWAY from this company. They will hike up prices by $700, charge hidden fees, use dishonest weights, and they will keep your belongings hostage to coerce you into paying more.

Alliance was hired to move my elderly after from Florida to Connecticut. They communicated that his items would be in CT in time for his move to an assisted living facility. Items were picked up as promised (the only positive) but after a full week, when calling to inquire about the delivery date, they hadn't even left the state and they had no idea when they would be on their way. The dispatcher/manager/self-proclaimed "boss" told me to, "Read the contract". There is no guarantee on dates and they could take as long as they wanted. When the items were within a day of delivery, a full 17 days later, the delivery window changed 4 times in 12 hrs., and again we are told, it was our problem.
Finally, when we thought we were done with this horrible experience, I just received a call from another Alliance customer who someone received one of our boxes 500 miles away. Julia, "the boss", claims to be working on it. But since she has yet to email me a contract or return a phone call, I'm not holding my breath. I have to give the one star above to Gerard, who is the only person who tries to help and communicate effectively. I'm sorry he is associated with such an unprofessional and incompetent company.

Initial call sounded great. Their website has these great 5 star reviews but be very careful. They quote you a price over the phone, no house visit, for estimated square footage which is low so they sound competitive. They don’t tell you that if you go over estimate you have to pay a fuel surcharge. We never saw a contract until they came for pickup and they insisted they emailed it but we never got it. We have them a deposit 30 days in advance and set a pickup date. We were told that they needed an alternate date in case of weather problems.
A week before our pickup date we were told that date was not available and the alternate day, per the contract, was the pickup day. Very stressful and deceiving at the last minute. They also charged us $50 to wrap a glass table top which we never knew about. When the furniture was delivered there was only the driver who said his helper got sick. We had to find someone to help him unload who we paid because he was only willing to pay $15 hour. They broke our 48” TV, damaged an antique lamp and lost a iron plant stand and we still haven’t been paid for. Also check their damage policy because they pay you by the pound, that’s right by the pound not the value of damaged items. I would not recommend this company ever.

I was quoted a $3000 move from California to Texas. The sleazebag who lied this quote to me also said that the sizes of our boxes don't matter as long as they aren't the size of a washing machine. So we used the XL boxes from Home Depot. He also lied about having access to our specific moving truck and said it was the last available footage on his last truck to Texas. Turns out they don't even move their own trucks. It's all sent out to third party movers. He had no way of knowing what he pretended to know. He also added up all these "discounts" so it seemed like we were getting a good deal.
What he knew and we didn't was that he could say literally anything he wanted to get us to agree to the move. Including a false estimate on the price. He gets paid and we are stuck with a different number on moving day. Even better, they are willingly shady.. it's their business model. You know this is true because after the first guy promises you that he is personally taking care of your move and that you can call back anytime to ask for him by name.. you call back and all of a sudden "your case is in the hands of the customer service dept now". This is all part of the company's strategy of false promises, then deflection. Once they've got your signature they've got you trapped.
After paying this liar his commission and locking in our move moving day comes and of course it's a completely different company contracted by "alLIEance". Except for the fact that he knowingly does business with Alliance, the actual mover is honest. Unfortunately that means his moving price is real. It's $2500 more expensive than quoted. I'm now looking at over 5k for my move and can't afford it. But I'm stuck with it. Turns out Joe from Alliance's "box size doesn't matter" is a complete lie.
Items were damaged upon arrival at destination, the guy they hired to unload manhandled our boxes and complained the whole time. Lots of broken glass and leaking punctured liquids etc. They almost gave us free stuff that belonged to the next customer but I stopped them when I noticed its not our stuff. Could have easily taken other people's stuff there if I was as dishonest as Joe from alLIEance. These guys should be in jail because what they do is criminal. Will rent a pod next time.

Please please read the other comments as they are accurate. We lost every item that we were charged extra for that they packed and loaded into 3 different trucks. We waited 6 weeks for broken, damaged items at the monetary cost of $3500.00. That does not cover the emotional stress or feeling of helplessness that we endured. Tvs can be replaced, family heirlooms cannot. Even the totes arrived in pieces not to mention the stuff they boxed in cardboard boxes. They should be shut down as they are not reputable and steal money from clients. I've just begun to fight!

I am an older retired person recovering from cancer. I needed a quote to pack my possessions and move my furniture. Received a quote from Michigan to South Carolina. 1st driver had not enough space in the truck and no packing materials. Said he had to buy them and he wanted $2000.00 more than the quote. Argument ensued. He drove. Company said I lost my very high deposit. After conversation agreed to send another truck. My Daughter then packed all in boxes. Same thing. My daughter wanted to take pics of the loading driver. Got pissed and drove off leaving 25% of my possessions. Now I am pissed off.
The load arrived with the driver and his wife. They dropped the load, attempted to assemble a glass table and failed. Lost the fasteners. Followed up with a claim. A very arrogant man called to discuss. Pissed me off. I hung up. He called back and said, "Claim denied." For your own good ignore the smooth talking sales girl. They will say anything and do nothing. ADVISE FROM ME DO NOT USE ALLIANCE MOVERS. No stars from me.

Only giving this company 1 star so I can leave a review. WORST moving company I have ever experienced in my life. I don’t even know how to start... I should’ve known seeing everyone review on this company was TERRIBLE that something was wrong.. Boy did we learn the hard way on this one!! The movers clearly don’t care enough about any of your belongings. I had had 4 guys help us move. Only one guy really knew what he was doing. Two of the guys couldn’t even speak English and had no friggin clue how to properly package our belongings. It was a joke!! The other guy looked like he just got out of serving jail time telling us he still had half a bullet left in his leg??? Unbelievable. I don’t care if I’m coming off harsh but my husband and I spend a lot of our hard working money on our home furniture and I have no tolerance for messing up an easy job.
I made sure I labeled my boxes if they were fragile or had glass in them that they would be careful.. HA they didn’t even read or care about any of that. Our stuff arrives a week and a half later after we were told it would be there in 2-3 business days. Which is why we decided to go along with this company because my husband is active military and was soon to be deployed to go overseas and I can’t set up all the furniture alone. The movers arrive...finally. I go outside. The guys who delivered our stuff were a lot more together than the guys who packed our stuff. I gotta say that. But how they were taking our stuff out of the truck gave me excruciating anxiety. Our stuff was packed so thrown in. When they were trying to get our stuff out the truck since it was so poorly packed ... the other person's stuff next to ours was falling out the truck getting damaged. I couldn’t even watch. It made me so sick.
When they came in to place our furniture in our home I noticed not half but everything had damage. Couch was ripped, kitchen table had dents, chips all over it. My $14,000 bed frame had chips all over it with dents. I wanted to cry and I did cry. My furniture was in brand new condition. Didn’t have any chips or dents before it was in this company’s hands. As they are placing our furniture one of the guy goes “ya the last people we delivered for didn’t have their furniture for 2 months”. That’s when I KNEW this company was Helter skelter. Who can go 2 months without furniture?!?! Give me a break. Without all their belongings??? Even the mover said it was terrible. No crap! So yeah make sure you read all the reviews from this company and do yourself a favor and DON’T.

I had a very bad experience with Alliance Vans. Their contract was not correct and resulted in terrible customer service with the moving company Household haulers (who are also a terrible company). After I reported all of the issues, being screamed at by the movers, lost luggage, damaged goods etc. Alliance told me that it was my problem and that they were sorry it was a bad experience. They did not help me to recover my luggage (which was lost) or take responsibility for a poorly written and incorrect contract.

We contacted Alliance in February for an anticipated move to Austin, Tx in September. Our son and his wife were also making the same move in July. They gave us both "Guaranteed" estimates. When they showed up at our son's home, they gave various reasons why the price would be higher and it went up about an additional $4,000! What could they do? Their house was sold and they were hitting the road. They were very upset and told me what happened. I called Alliance and said the same thing could not happened to me! They said I had a Guaranteed estimate and as long as we didn't change the amount we were moving, our price would be honored.
As it turned out, we moved the moving date up a month, from September to August, which according to them, put us in "Prime time". The price went from $5,300 to $8,600. Again this was shortly before were were to move. We had few if any options and they knew it. When they came to our home on moving day, we were informed we were overweight and the price went up again to $12,000!!! When they arrived at our home in Austin, the drivers wanted to charge me an additional $210 to move some of the boxes to the detached garage some 40 feet away. I told them I would move it myself. I found their practices to be underhanded and extremely unethical. I will NEVER use them again!
