False advertisement. My glasses ended up over $500.00. My daughter's $450.00. My husband's over $500.00. Waited 3 weeks for arrival. Then I found out that they donate a free pair for every pair purchased. We're on Social Security, I could use a free pair! Scam!!!

Glasses are wobbly and cheap and after 5 weeks I have started to use my old Martha Stewart glasses I bought for 3.99 2024 in an outlet. Will never buy another pair from them.

Updated on 04/27/2026: WP did respond and answered my question about shipping practices. Suppose to receive order on 4/28, well over the two weeks we were told to expect order to arrive.
Original Review: Wife ordered two pairs of glasses from the local WP store. Sales person was not very qualified for the fitting of bi-focals. Received confirmation of order through email. Instead of shipping both pairs at the same time, the glasses were shipped separately. One pair (sunglasses) arrived at our home, but the pair of that was needed ended up shipping to the Midwest and to Oregon and back to the Midwest. It's been over two weeks since ordering. Contacted customer service and could barely understand the foreign speaking reps. They could just assure that the glasses were on their way, but had no idea why they were shipped that way. Hopefully the glasses will arrive in one piece and are correct. Keeping fingers crossed. Will not use them again.

I scheduled 3 appointments for eye exams because they advertise everything for 95.00! I was thinking they were similar to America's Best were the exam, and eyeglasses are all-inclusive with the price you pay for the frames included with your visit! MAN I WAS WRONG! THEY state the appointment and the prescription are for 95.00 and the frames are EXTRA! HELL I could have went to America's Best! This is crazy so now I'm out of 400. Bucks for 2 glasses! NEVER AGAIN! It's a shame the personnel was really Nice!

I purchased 2 pair of sunglasses from WP - 1 year apart. Both of them were poor quality lenses. I have a bifocal prescription, so I paid >$300 for these lenses. They both dimpled or got bubbles in them, making them unusable. I tried to work with WP to try something else, or get yet another new set of lenses, they offered me $20. Insulting. I have purchased other glasses from them over the years, and I will say the quality has gone down. The very first pair I bought 10+ years ago was the best.

The online experience for me is PERFECT. I can try on the glasses and order exactly what I want/need. The brick-and-mortar store on Walnut Street in Center City, PA, is horrible. I took my sunglasses in to be adjusted and have not heard back from the store. I NO LONGER HAVE SUNGLASSES THANKS TO THIS INEFFICIENT OPTICIAN AND STORE STAFF. I got no receipt and no order number. I was told they would have the sunglasses adjusted in a short time, so I did not need a receipt. They took my email and phone number. Guess I am ignorant for trusting them. Save time, money, and effort by using the online ordering.

Extremely disappointed. This is the second time I’ve paid for expedited shipping with Warby Parker, and the second time my glasses have ended up delayed with no clear explanation of where they are. There are plenty of other reasonably priced eyewear companies that reliably deliver on time. Based on my experience, I recommend looking elsewhere. I won’t be ordering from Warby Parker again.

I've tried Warby Parker frames multiple times throughout my life, purchasing about two of them, but trying on close to 10 pairs or so. After my favorite pair of glasses broke last night I'm reminded of how deeply and thoroughly uncomfortable Warby Parker's glasses are. Do you want to feel like your head is in a plastic vice grip all day? Then you're gonna love Warby! Do you want even the remotest amount of comfort from your eyeglass wear? Then please shop elsewhere. Needless to say, these frames are absolute and utter trash. Take your money elsewhere, for all that's holy.

I was skeptical about ordering glasses from Warby Parker, but several people told me they were affordable and worth trying, so I decided to give them a shot. After placing my order and submitting my prescription, I was told it would take about 14 days to receive my glasses. Almost immediately after ordering, I received an email asking for my PD (pupillary distance). The issue was that my PD was already written on the prescription I submitted—apparently, no one took the time to check. To avoid delays, I logged back into my account, added the PD separately, and received a confirmation email thanking me for the update. I checked the status of my prescription daily, but nothing ever changed. Then, six days later, I received another email asking for my PD again.
I contacted customer service through chat and was told I needed to add my PD. I explained that I had already added it and that it was also on the prescription I uploaded. After reviewing it, the representative confirmed that I was correct. Unfortunately, I needed these glasses before traveling overseas. Because my order sat untouched for six days due to this issue, the additional delay meant the glasses would arrive after I had already left the U.S. I ended up cancelling my order. From what I’ve since read in other reviews, delays like this seem to happen fairly often. With so many other companies offering similar services, I expected better attention to detail. At the very least, companies should consider offering some form of compensation or discount when delays are caused by internal errors.

Very upset with the customer service. I paid and place an order on 09/23/2025 for glasses with prescription. It took 3 weeks to get the glasses made not according to the order-prescription. They replaced them and the replacement was faulty. I request a refund. Finally after long time on the phone agent Roxi, I returned the glasses for refund. As of today 02/26/2025 no refund is made. Another agent Ari promised to refund today. This company do not deserve even one star.

They do offer stylish frames and at-home try-ons. BUT, and this is a BIG BUT, they could not get my prescription right. I eventually provided one written by my eye doctor. NOPE! I STILL COULD NOT SEE A THING THROUGH THE STYLISH FRAMES. Was it an atypical prescription? NOPE! I bought a pair of readers from Walgreens. NOT SO STYLISH BUT I COULD ACTUALLY SEE. To sum up: I now have a STYLISH pair of WP glasses sitting in a desk drawer collecting dust.

I order a pair of glasses which cost over $400 on December 2nd 2025. I was told I would receive them in 2 week. 2 months later I still have not received them. I continuously have to email them to get updates on my order. No one from Warby Parker has proactively contacted me with a status update. Each time I email it is a generic response from a different person, which makes me feel it is an AI bot. Zero Customer Services.

Where the salesperson did not get the correct mailing address, causing the order delay for more than 30 days! Unacceptable! The low price doesn’t pay for the aggravated situation.

I will never purchase another pair of glasses from Warby Parker. They want to charge me $165 to replace the Rx sunglass lenses on an older pair of sunglasses and refuse to let me pay $65 to replace the old, scratched Rx lenses with regular sunglass lenses. Do yourself a favor and buy a Costco membership. Better price, product and service.

Initial in-store experience was excellent but, my glasses are more than a month late and no one can tell me how much longer it will be. You can’t call the store you went to, it sends you to a corporate number overseas who is unable to access your specific order and give you a real update. Feels like I got scammed and now have to figure out how to get my money back. I suggest going to a locally owned vision solution, never again.

It was incredibly difficult to understand the dialect of the person voice from another area of the world. Also, their payment options were very time-consuming and unexpected. Also, the lenses scratch fairly easily and often, particularly for the amount of money they charge.

I was a customer for several years, and it's not what it used to be. Their policy of offering affordable eyeglasses no longer exists. Prices have increased considerably. The frames still offer at a lower price but then they added additional services at a high cost. They also offer the option of thinner lenses, but it turns out that's not what they actually provide, and when you complain, they say it's more expensive and not offered on their website. Just to add another charge. Also I tried to place a new order, and the price was lower than what I had already paid. I chose to return my order because I felt cheated.

Can I rate zero stars? I live near the store at Las Olas, Fort Lauderdale. The lady was so unfriendly that I couldn't understand what was going on, I never had such a horrible experience buying glasses. She should never work there if she hates people or that kind of job. It was a lady with short hair, over 60, today, Friday, Jan 16th at 1:30 PM. I did not buy the glasses. I will look in other places or come back when there is another person to talk to. You are losing customers with this lady.

I've been very disappointed by the quality of Warby Parker lenses. They scratch incredibly easily and, after a year or so, become very foggy and heavily scratched, despite the considerable care I take in cleaning them (micro-fiber cloths). My night vision while driving has become particularly impaired, as a halo effect from ongoing cars greatly diminishes my eyes' acuity. It is very disappointing to me, because I like the choice of styles and the overall ease of fitting and ordering glasses. My last two pairs -- both progressives and hence quite expensive -- scratched badly within a year (but were still usable during the brief six-month warranty period). Warby Parker really needs to conduct far better quality control on its vendors -- I would pay more for eyeglasses that are more durable. It's obvious that I must do far better research in the future to find well-manufactured and durable lenses.

I will never purchase contacts online with this company again. 2x I've called to find out when my order will be processed. 2x I was told they tried calling my Dr and could not get through. Funny that when I call, they answer within 3 rings, THE FIRST TIME I CALL both times. Now my DR has faxed my prescription, and they STILL don't have it. I will never order from them again.

I was so excited to realize I could shop in store (with selection assistance) at Warby Parker, having heard an excellent review-type ad as part of a podcast. I made arrangements to spend time in the store, but after about 20 minutes of try on, my associate left the floor. I remained for a bit but quickly grew overwhelmed. I recorded information about my frames I was considering and decided to try again following up with the store. I then learned I couldn't call the store (unpublished number), so I contacted customer service for help. Customer service indicated someone from the store would reach out via email. I began checking in weekly, and they indicated each time my request was in progress.
Eventually and around a month later, I obtained a customer service rep who shared there was a note that the store did not have my contact information -- including my email that was included in the email conversation they had received. She agreed this didn't make sense (they clearly had my email) and was confused about how this was unresolved by earlier follow up correspondence from me. She was truly very kind, but by then, it was too late for me to feel comfortable fixing this issue with Warby Parker. I just couldn't get over 1) how I had clearly "taken too long" on the sales floor and 2) how the representatives didn't even want to email me when I was providing my email in each correspondence. I feel truly disrespected -- and unwanted as a customer. It's been a horrible year for me trying to access basic healthcare services, and this just piled on.

I purchased 2 pair of glasses from Warby Parker in Woodbury, MN on November 12th 25. I received 1 pair in 14 days after purchase date. I called WP customer service and was told my 2nd pair of glasses did not pass quality control, and would take an additional 14 days to receive them. I was never contacted by email from WP.
I called again after not receiving my glasses and not being updated from WP by email. I was told by WP customer service, that they will check into this and follow up with an email of status. This did not happen, and I made sure that WP had my correct email on both calls, to which they struggled with this communication and verification. So I called again on 12-29-25. I gave them my order # and was told that they will follow up and get back to me with update and explanation. They did mention giving a discount of some sort. But, I have been an eyeglass wearer for 55 yrs and I was really hoping that this new business format of making eyeglass purchasing fun and simple with good results. This is definitely not the case for me. I believe this is my 1st time ever writhing a review, and this brings my no joy at all. However, I am disappointed.

Had an eye exam on 12/13/25 in Roseville, CA. Ordered new glasses and was told they would take about 10-14 days to deliver to my home. I asked if expedited service was available for an additional fee and was informed the fee would be $25.00. I had stepped on my backup glasses and was without any so I paid up without question. Two weeks later on Friday 12/26/25 I called Customer service to check on status. Rep couldn't find my order because Roseville, CA store had hacked my email address up. After getting email address corrected and verifying shipping address rep told me glasses would arrive today 12/29/25. I ask him to email me the tracking information, email never arrived.
Arrived home from work today 12/29/25, no glasses and no email with tracking number. Called customer service and they told me glasses had not shipped and they would ship tomorrow, that a UPS shipping label had already been created. I ask them to email me the UPS shipping number. After placing me on hold for 15 minutes they emailed me a tracking number and told me they should arrive Friday 1/1/26. This company is a bad joke with some of the worse customer service, wish I had read the reviews before placing the order!

The designs are very cute, which initially drew me in. Unfortunately, within less than six months the ear pieces stopped holding their shape, causing the glasses to slide down and not stay securely on my face. I initially assumed this was due to handling by my eye doctor or optician, but after purchasing again, it became clear this is a consistent issue with the frames themselves. Additionally, I tend to get headaches when wearing these glasses, likely due to the poor fit. While the aesthetic is appealing, the quality and comfort do not meet expectations. Overall, I would consider the product not great.
