Americord's policies were promising and were in the budget where I was thinking of paying off. I did it twice, both for my daughter and son. It is a bit pricey because I asked them to give a discount for my son because I am a returning customer, but I couldn't get it. But they came and collected the blood without any delays. As soon as we called after the delivery was done, they immediately came and picked the blood up. The whole experience of saving the blood was on time and good. When I did it for the first time, I recommended a couple of my friends and they also did it with Americord.

It was good with Americord. There had to be multiple back and forth because we were deciding on which services to avail. But they were very patient in explaining all of that. We had twins. I wish there was better discount because the processing was together, but it was easy to work with them. We didn't have enough time for the kits to arrive, and there was an emergency delivery, but they were still able to handle it by sending someone on urgent basis and make the kits reach us in time. They went out of the way. I also like that they had a referral bonus program. The friends who referred us got a gift card.

Everything's been great with Americord. They offered a little bit more packages as far as options that can be done with the baby's placenta. They explained everything. I have thyroid issues and my boyfriend has diabetes. So, I figured that if something happens, there could be something that can be used. For my next kids, I will use them again.

When I was pregnant, I looked for good organizations that could keep the cord and placenta for the baby. I read about Americord, then I went on their website, took their number, and called them directly. They explained to us the procedure very clearly, and they gave us the details of how that will be conducted, what we needed to take care of when we go for the delivery, and how we were going to include doctors and nurses in the hospital during delivery time. They picked up the kit. They came on the day of delivery then the next day of the delivery. Overall, it was a good experience. Americord did work professionally, and as of now, they are keeping our sets with them and charging appropriate fees. We are happy.

I had some major issues happen, but the owner called personally to resolve them all. They truly to try to pride themselves on customer service, and a personable experience. Thank you Charlie for your help.

I was researching cord blood banking, umbilical cord banking, and placenta banking. Americord was one of the first ones that came up that did all three. They had a fairly decent price compared to everybody else, as well as interest free payments, which was nice. Customer service was really knowledgeable and they were really helpful. It was pretty intensive because you have to be pretty spot-on. They give you very thorough instructions on what the doctor needs to do, what you need to do, and expecting the whole send-off after all the tissue has been collected as well. They're very thorough in getting that done and communicating that.

Americord was the most affordable. All the other companies were significantly more money, and I wasn't gonna be able to afford it. Getting everything set up was really easy. I just sent in an email that I was interested through the website and then they called me and set it all up with me. Then they sent me the box to put everything in. There were written directions for everything. I was able to give that to my doctor when I was giving birth. So they knew everything that they needed to do and collect. Then somebody came from Americord and picked it up. It was really easy and not much needed to be done on my part, which was really nice. I like that it's so affordable that I'm able to bank my child's cord blood for 20 years.

My experience with Americord was easy and convenient. Everything was organized. We have different packages to select from, so that was easier to make the decision. They sent the kit to me, and I took it to the hospital. The pickup was convenient. The courier who picked up the kit was good, easy to communicate with, and was on time.

I expected better, but my experience with Americord was still okay. Considering that I didn't know much about this, things should be addressed in a better way. But the rep answered all my questions and explained the process.

Working with the rep was a positive experience. For the potential value, the service is definitely worth it. The sample will be stored for our baby's lifetime. When they picked up our sample, it took almost a week before our profile updated to say that they had the sample. And so, there was some panic there. But now, it's fine again because everything has been updated.

Americord would bank the cord blood for as long as they need to or as long as we need it. It reassures me that in the future, if something happens, I have something else I could rely on. It was a bit pricey just because you're already having to buy strollers and cribs but the yearly plan is reasonable. If people can afford Americord, that’s great. But there is an option to donate to other places if they can’t afford it. Either way, they should not let the blood cord go to waste.

Americord has excellent communication. They were very patient and answered all of my and my husband's questions. One guy was from New York and on vacation in Chicago. But he took our call and spent 45 minutes talking with us. Their price is more expensive, but I like the services that they provide and the way that we could break down payments.

I wanted to save everything including the placenta and Americord did it for the cheapest. I had a conversation with somebody over the phone, paid the deposit, and they sent me the kit. I had the kit in the hospital, and the hospital providers packed it up. We called the people, and they were able to pick it up.

We have some doctor friends who recommended we do the cord storage. We did some research by googling the different companies out there. AmeriCord is one of the few companies that does the placenta, the cord, and the cord blood, and ultimately, we liked the price. They weren't the highest but not the cheapest either. It was a good range. Our cord blood specialist was great. He answered the questions. He added a personal touch, which helped seal the deal of why it was important. It was a good interaction.

The baby wasn't supposed to be there for another eight weeks. I called Americord last minute, and the rep did everything he possibly could to get us the kit. They even sent someone from Austin to Houston, but they got one available in Houston in that particular day. They were in Houston within eight hours. So the whole thing was super, super nice, and handled very professionally.

The gentleman from Americord had all his stuff down pat. You would think that the females would know more about cord blood banking, but a lot of the people that I spoke to were women and they were stuttering. The information that the Americord rep gave me was more detailed and complete. When I asked him a question, I got a direct and definitive answer. He knew what he was talking about, so now I understand exactly what we need and what we don't need. Also, the payment plan is very flexible where they have the different payment plans for the 24th of the month. The courier driver of the kit was awesome, too. He came and I wasn't quite ready since at first, the paper that they gave us said that we had to go downstairs because the hospitals wouldn't let them up. But he came all the way up to the room and we were a little discombobulated because we got a brand-new baby. He waited patiently with no issues and was a very polite gentleman.

We signed up with Americord, got the kit, and everything went smoothly. What I hoped was it happened behind the scenes and it made no impact on our delivery or hospital stay. It went smoothly and it was no detraction from our baby bonding time and everything that went on.

Everything was explained to me via phone call and then, followed up by an email. It was broken down enough for me to understand and I felt informed. Americord sent Metry Cab, which is a reliable but super old school cab service, to pick up the kit. The guy just knew he was picking up something and dropping something off. And maybe that was done on purpose. But we were at the hospital and the guy called my husband and he was just asked a question or two, and he was not friendly. That doesn't have anything to do with Americord, that's Metry Cab. But old disgruntled men would not be the right service. So that was odd. It was all very much like everybody will handle their part, which worked out. At the hospital, they have to know to go through each step that's on the paperwork. So that made me a little bit nervous. But the worst part about it was that whole pick-up thing.

I had a good experience with Americord. All the instructions were clear. When they picked it up, it was fast too.

Cost-wise, we found Americord more affordable competitively. The experience has been good, so far. We were given proper instructions as to how to use the kit at the time of birth and what would the overall delivery process be. So, it was a smooth experience without any hassles. The carrier was on time within the 72-hour limit which we had to send the kit to the designated place. So, there was no delay.

Americord has a good price and a good value for what you're getting.

Americord was the only one that I found reputable. And they did both the placenta and stem cell. The sales guy was super helpful. He explained everything. When we first got on the phone, I asked, "How long is this gonna take? I got stuff to do." He was very clear, got to the point and said, "All right. I'll send you an email with the rest of the information. Let me know what you think." We got the kit the day after we got home, and for some reason we had to send it back via FedEx. But we live in a rural area. It took me too long. Finally, I called the phone number on there, and Americord was out there that night. The guy had to drive four hours to get to our house. And it was 8 or 9 o'clock at night. He came, picked it up and took a picture of my driver's license and took it straight to the airport.

Americord's reps were friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful with discounts. We hope we never have to use the cord blood but having it gives us peace of mind.

Americord's price was reasonable compared to the other companies. The whole process was good. We called them, then the courier guy came within three hours and he picked up. He was nice, and he gave us all the information about everything. So, I would recommend his name. They called us to let us know that they are storing cord blood and cord tissue. So, they asked for the payment.

The experience with Americord was good. It was easy to communicate with them.

The rep is one of the best persons I've ever talked to. He is one of the more helpful attending persons. I definitely recommend Americord.

I had a very pleasant experience with Americord. It was new to me but I've always wanted to do it. The representative was very nice, explained everything to me and convinced me to do a few more things. Americord was recommended by a friend, and I recommended it to my friend, too.

The guy who coordinated it for us had answers to all the questions we had to ask. We received the package and it was picked up by a representative courier. Then, we received notice that it had been received. Those were 10 out of 10. We haven't had any bad experiences yet. We would recommend Americord to a friend, especially somebody looking for the same thing that we were.

We did cord banking with my son who is now 2 years and 2 months old. And we went again for my daughter because we are already Americord's clients. And they have been super helpful, especially Jerry with customer service. We had some unwanted and unforeseen financial issues, and he was able to help me get through those in a way that didn't hurt us too badly and didn’t have to have us give up services. Also, I got an answer every time I called. The first time, I forgot the kit at home and had a courier deliver one late at night. It was a great experience.

It was a good and very smooth experience.
