Audien Hearing is the worst company I have ever done business with!!! You have to jump through so many hoops in order to get any service that you are WAY BETTER OFF just going to Walmart and buy their "Oricle" hearing aids. for the price of the Audien Pro2 ($200) you can buy TWO pairs of Oricle's, and you don't have to hassle with an Audien Representative, pressuring you to but an upgraded version of their original piece of junk. I switched to the "Oricle" and couldn't be happier with the product, and if something happens to the pair that I'm wearing I still got the second pair and Walmart will probably still refund you your money or replace the defective pair with a new pair AND WITHOUT ALL THE HASSLE OF AN Audien REP. BOTHERING YOU WITH A PHONE CALL!!!

I ordered some hearing aids under Audien's 45-day trial guarantee. After 25 days of proper use and even consulting an audiologist, the product did not work for my hearing needs. Returning them has been a nightmare. First, I was forced into a high-pressure phone call to get a return authorization. After returning everything perfectly on July 17, another audiologist called, trying to upsell me more expensive products instead of processing my refund. On July 22, Audien emailed confirming receipt of my return, promising a refund in 2–3 days. It is now August 5. After three emails and more phone calls, I am stuck in an endless loop. Every representative tells me it is being "escalated to the team" or orders me to call another number. They even promised a written summary of our calls, which never arrived. Audien is weaponizing customer service delays to avoid honoring their own money-back guarantee. Buyer beware.

I ordered the Atom X hearing aides from Audien. Upon arrival I started using them and discovered that the left hearing aid was discharging much faster then the right one. I contacted Audien and they sent a UPS label to return the defective product and said I would have a new set in the mail within 48 hours. It has now been 5 days and they still have not shipped my new hearing aids. The representative I spoke to today said it will be a little longer before they ship. So basically I was lied to by the first representative. I also purchased a one year year replacement plan if anything happens to my hearing aids. The representative told me the plan I purchased when I ordered them was no longer available and I needed to upgrade to a better plan. I would not recommend Audien to anyone else because of their deceptive practices.

I bought the Audien ion pro 2 in Feb 2026. Almost immediately it started to fail. The volume of the earpieces kept changing randomly. I called them and got no real support. They would take them back, if I bought a new set, and then they might give me some refund on the returned set, it they wanted to. Recently the earpieces have started disconnected and then reconnected to the phone, even when I have the phone in my hand. I started to notice that the background noise reduction was no longer working. This morning one of the earpieces is recognized by the app but there is no audio from it. I called them and they said "buy a new set", we do not refund after the 45 day period. I would consider these earpieces "bad items" and don't send your money on them. Nice idea, bad implementation. I told them I was going to do a bad review of their product, no change in their stance on return/replace.

My partner purchased a pair of Atom 2 Pro hearing aids for me on 26DEC25. One of the hearing aids failed and was replaced on 22APR 26. The replacement hearing aid would not hold a charge, became staticky and stopped working after about an hour. An email exchange with Audien required me to call their telephone customer service number TO GET A RETURN LABEL FOR A REFUND. When I called that number, I was told that I COULD NOT GET A REFUND. My experience with Audien is that their Atom Pro 2 failed twice, and they offered me a refund that their telephone customer service denied. I would not recommend this company to anyone who may be considering buying from them.

Do NOT buy from this company. Terrible product and support. They claim to have mistakenly charge my card for an upgrade I never ordered. They admitted this. If I had not found it on card statement, would have been stuck with the charge. The bluetooth function is terrible. Their slick advertising is very enticing, but the product does not live up to the hype.

I read all the info on the Audien hearing aids and they sounded great (Audien Atom Pro). I bought a pair that said they were 20% smaller. When I tried to put them in, it felt like I was trying to put dinner plate in my ear. No matter how I twisted, tried different domes and pushed them to get them in. I could not make them fit. I tried holding them in place to see if they helped my hearing and there was no difference. I put them back in the case and stuffed them in a drawer where they sit. I never could use them! This was a total waste of my money. I bought a pair of Jabra hearing aids that work about 80%. I am not a small guy, I have large ears and these and they don’t even come close to fitting in my ears.

THEN I looked at eBay to see if they were available there. To my surprise, there are DOZENS of "new" Atom X's. I acquired ONE only to find it DEFECTIVE. What does this huge eBay supply of "new" Atom X's tell YOU? Audien produced 1,000's of defective devices and now they're being unloaded on eBay.

I have a problem with the charging base for the Atom One that I purchased from WalMart just a couple weeks ago. After reading other reviews on here, I see that I am not the only one. I will see if WalMart will take these back for a refund. I wanted to discuss the problem with a customer service agent, but apparently Audien does not want to talk to customers!

I found one email option that I could use to write out the problem, but there is no option to send the email! My only option is to click the 'X' in the upper-right corner, which I'm sure only cancels the email. The phone number given will only reply to vocal responses. There are no options to use the keypad instead. What happens if a customer is unable to speak, because of disability or simply an illness, is a rather rude disconnection.

I'm quite sure that no one will be able to read this review, as Audien will likely either simply delete it or whitewash is completely with so many computer-generated compliments that it will be shoved down the list a couple hundred times. If you want a product that is supported by a decent customer conscience-oriented company, look elsewhere.

I was very disappointed in the performance of the Atom X hearing aid by Audien. Even after three sessions with an Audien “hearing aid specialist,” we could not stop feedback and occlusion. When I wanted to return it, they kept me trying to fix it with another “specialist” until they said “you’re past the 45 days for returns.” This is a gimmick they use to keep you from returning and getting a refund.

Bought Atom Pro 2, along with their replacement plan, new in August 2025. Within 2 weeks, the charging case stopped working. I got it recharging with a thorough cleaning. I didn't use them for of couple months, and when starting a new job, wore them daily. They lasted two weeks and one of the two aids stopped working completely. Thorough cleaning again with no resolution. I called custumer care. They told me that it would cost an additional $50.00 plus shipping to replace under the purchased replacement plan. I inquired as to upgrading to a better model and pay the sieve in price, as when they stopped functioning, I searched and the failure of one of the aids is common. Customer care said there was nothing they were willing to do and my only options were to pay $100 for the same model or send another $400-$500 for some that might actually work. Essentially, it was a $400.00 purchase that lasted roughly the weeks of use.

When the product didn’t work out for us, we were told we were approved for a refund and even had to complete a Zoom call to get that approval. After we shipped the hearing aids back, Audien still refused to issue the refund and then expected me to pay to have the devices shipped back to me. Completely unreasonable and frustrating. This product + company are a complete fraud. If the volume on the aids exceeds 30%, they start to whistle loudly, which can be heard by those around you. Whenever you remove the ads from the case, the volume % stops working. They are very uncomfortable, regardless of the tip used. Plus, I only noticed marginal hearing improvement. I purchased a pair of Audien Ion Pro over-the-ear hearing aids in April 2025. I like the sound quality and the Bluetooth feature, but the battery life is terrible. They say they're supposed to get up to 16 hours on a charge (a full charge takes about three hours), but even with a mid-day recharge I'm lucky if I get 12 hours of use at times. Some days are better, but often not.

When I contacted them to see what could be done, they advised me that they no longer make that model (the new one is the Ion 2), but they would examine mine to see if there was a defect. But they wanted $14.00 first. So I stupidly agreed to pay the fee. They sent me a return shipping label, but before I could get to the UPS store, they emailed me and told me there was nothing they could do. I called and asked for a refund of my $14.00, but I haven't seen it yet. I've filed a dispute against the charge with my credit union.

Audien Hearing is using their Atom One $99 hearing aid as a come on to sucker elderly, challenged, low income individuals to buy so they can hound you for upgrades. They advertise these hearing aids with a 45 day money back guarantee which they refuse to honor. I purchased a set on their questionable web site that collected your information including billing info, they then forced you to navigate through a series of upgrade screens. As soon as you declined any upgrades they processed the order without an opportunity to cancel. An immediate call to customer service to cancel the order is futile. I became suspicious and contacted the BBB only to find there is 471 complaints in their database. The complaints range from inferior sound, failure within weeks, not working on arrival, etc.

Customer service and failure to honor the 45 day money back guarantee are also listed. It seems that the 45 day money back guarantee is only good if you participate in a video conference which they record and only then if they agree to a return. The conference call turns into a hard sell upgrade scam. Reviews for this company are good, However the good reviews are for the $400+ hearing aids. You have to look at the BBB site to discover the truth about their deceptive practices. I refused to participate in their conference call and they refuse to refund my money.

I found what I thought would be the answer to our (my husband and myself) hearing issues. We were thrilled to give it a try. They did not work for us. We asked for a refund and of course was talked into a higher quality pair of hearing aids, which of course cost more. We really wanted the hearing aids to work. We received our new hearing aids and my husband was able to wear the behind the ear hearing aids, but I was still only able to have the sounds amplified; all of the sounds. They also interfered with my glasses. I gave it my all and really tried to make it work.

I contacted the company for a refund and because I missed the return date by 2 days they have declined my return. I explained to them that I wanted to try as long as I could, because I already knew they were going to talk me into keeping them and trying something different, probably more expensive as well. I did not try to contact them over the weekend nor on the following Monday because of the holiday. Needless to say, they are standing firm on NOT refunding my money. I mean, come on, seriously?

I later decided that I do not want a behind the ear hearing aid. I got on line to ask for a refund and here is where their support fails. You text to a bot. Who texts you back until they agree to allow you to speak to a specialist for $5 that is refundable.

But when you go to pay you find the fee is actually $51. The $5 refundable amount and $46 to join JustAnswer. And that $46 is a monthly charge unless you cancel. So to get your refund it will cost you $51 if you cancel your subscription to Just Answer. To get a refund one should not have to pay to join anything. Maybe a mailing charge but not a fee like this.
