My partner purchased a pair of Atom 2 Pro hearing aids for me on 26DEC25. One of the hearing aids failed and was replaced on 22APR 26. The replacement hearing aid would not hold a charge, became staticky and stopped working after about an hour. An email exchange with Audien required me to call their telephone customer service number TO GET A RETURN LABEL FOR A REFUND. When I called that number, I was told that I COULD NOT GET A REFUND. My experience with Audien is that their Atom Pro 2 failed twice, and they offered me a refund that their telephone customer service denied. I would not recommend this company to anyone who may be considering buying from them.

Tried everything to get the feedback to stop even online with their instructor, no luck. Wasted money. Don't trust anything advertised on FB again. Found out they were charging me $4 a month for some type of warranty I don't believe I agreed to. My opinion is warranties are a rip and so are they.

Do NOT buy from this company. Terrible product and support. They claim to have mistakenly charge my card for an upgrade I never ordered. They admitted this. If I had not found it on card statement, would have been stuck with the charge. The bluetooth function is terrible. Their slick advertising is very enticing, but the product does not live up to the hype.

I got scammed on the trade in option. Poor customer service and support. Cost me two sets of hearing aids. Also as a sideline - I lost a very dear friend in the process.

I read all the info on the Audien hearing aids and they sounded great (Audien Atom Pro). I bought a pair that said they were 20% smaller. When I tried to put them in, it felt like I was trying to put dinner plate in my ear. No matter how I twisted, tried different domes and pushed them to get them in. I could not make them fit. I tried holding them in place to see if they helped my hearing and there was no difference. I put them back in the case and stuffed them in a drawer where they sit. I never could use them! This was a total waste of my money. I bought a pair of Jabra hearing aids that work about 80%. I am not a small guy, I have large ears and these and they don’t even come close to fitting in my ears.

Updated on 04/01/2026: Still waiting for my refund. It's been two months now. Don't order anything from this company.

Original Review: I ordered the Audien Atom ONE hearing aids. I didn't like them and returned within the 45 day return. I am still waiting for my refund after going on 2 months. They keep saying I'm going to get the refund but nothing. I would not order anything from this company. See an audiologist in person.

I have acquired THREE Audien Atom X. ALL proved defective as hearing devices but mostly as streaming with TV connection which was spotty. THEN I looked at eBay to see if they were available there. To my surprise, there are DOZENS of "new" Atom X's. I acquired ONE only to find it DEFECTIVE. What does this huge eBay supply of "new" Atom X's tell YOU? Audien produced 1,000's of defective devices and now they're being unloaded on eBay.

I have a problem with the charging base for the Atom One that I purchased from WalMart just a couple weeks ago. After reading other reviews on here, I see that I am not the only one. I will see if WalMart will take these back for a refund. I wanted to discuss the problem with a customer service agent, but apparently Audien does not want to talk to customers!

I found one email option that I could use to write out the problem, but there is no option to send the email! My only option is to click the 'X' in the upper-right corner, which I'm sure only cancels the email. The phone number given will only reply to vocal responses. There are no options to use the keypad instead. What happens if a customer is unable to speak, because of disability or simply an illness, is a rather rude disconnection.

I'm quite sure that no one will be able to read this review, as Audien will likely either simply delete it or whitewash is completely with so many computer-generated compliments that it will be shoved down the list a couple hundred times. If you want a product that is supported by a decent customer conscience-oriented company, look elsewhere.

I was very disappointed in the performance of the Atom X hearing aid by Audien. Even after three sessions with an Audien “hearing aid specialist,” we could not stop feedback and occlusion. When I wanted to return it, they kept me trying to fix it with another “specialist” until they said “you’re past the 45 days for returns.” This is a gimmick they use to keep you from returning and getting a refund.

So far, not impressed with their company… upon ordering, they stated 3-5 business days. Still have yet to receive them, and nothing but excuses. If upon receiving them, and they are a quality product, I’ll update this review!
