    We went to the IHOP in Kyle, Texas and could not have had a better experience. The greeter, the waitress and the manager that I talked with all had smiles on their faces (and you know when the smiles were honest). We don't eat out often, but when we do, it is important to have good food and good service. My compliments to Jaime, the manager and to Laura, our server. She took the time to explain several options for my wife, who is gluten-free and to me, because I have a focus problem. To top that off, the prices were fair compared to prices anywhere today. Please go to that IHOP in Kyle or to any of them because they are doing a great job for their customers.

    Such a pleasant experience at the IHOP in Christiansburg, Va. Our waitress, Courtney **, was such a friendly and professional waitress. She gave her recommendations and suggestions and made sure my 10 year was able to have exactly what she asked for. The food was very good. Thankful. Also, if you have some sort of employee recognition program I highly recommend Courtney for this. She is definitely worthy of such an honor.

      I came to IHOP late Saturday evening, July 13, there were several tables already and I was seated. Only 1 server, no host and people kept coming in on a constant basis. The server Kyle was REMARKABLE! He acknowledged and greeted everybody pleasantly and was amazing how he handled all this alone. Never a minute of showing how stressful this could be for one server. He rocked it all by himself. The cooks did awesome keeping up with Kyle's constant customer orders. The place was packed. I sincerely can't believe how he did it all with grace and enthusiasm. Very impressive. Food was great too. This server Kyle deserves a recognition.

      My name is Jami and I visit restaurants all over the Sacramento, Ca area and provide my honest review of businesses. Ihop has always been one of my favorite restaurants ever since I was a small child. Today I visited location #0649. It started off a little shaky when the nice young lady seating patrons seated others before me being I was a party of 1. My server was Jorge C. Nice young man. Despite the business and the complains from the party next to me he still kept a smile on his face trying to find a resolution to their issues. If I could make a suggestion. I would designate an individual to ensure silverware stayed rolled and handy when needed. Over roll they will all get used at some point. The server shouldn't need to roll silverware especially if the food has been brought out already. It's a horrible feeling to feel when your food is in front of you and you have to wait for silverware.

      Try to always put yourself in the customers' position. I know when I am starving and I go out to eat the last thing I want to do is have my meal in front of me smelling delicious and I have to wait for silverware to be rolled for my large party and myself. That could make or break my return to that restaurant. Something so small could make the decision for me on returning. It's the small things that matter the most when you're spending your hard earned money. I like the fact I seen the manager helping, encouraging, and providing her staff with her availability to their questions/concerns that they needed during such a busy time. That goes a long way with your employees to know you have that support. Keep up the good job Florin Rd store #0649.Always remember these things. You never know who is in your restaurant, you always have room for improvement and no matter the situation keep smiling. You got this!!! BE GREAT....

      For years, the only place I would order pancakes was IHOP. However, during the past 8 years or so, I’ve noticed a definite change in the flavor consistency and size of the pancakes and stopped ordering them. This week, I decided to try the new apple cinnamon pecan pancakes. What a most pleasant surprise! The pancakes were light and fluffy and flavorful. I ordered pick up and the toppings on the side. I was very happy I did because the toppings were sweet and I had control of the amount I wanted. I will definitely order them again soon and hope they remain on the menu. I’m still not sure I will try the other pancakes because I’m afraid they will not have changed. I wish ihop would stick with pancakes which made them famous and forget jumping on the latest fad in food. I only gave 4 stars because I’m not sure all of the pancakes are improved or just this one!!

      The server was new. Within management it was a lack of professionalism. When speaking of our food my eggs was not cooked to the point where my cheese was melted. My pancakes was not fluffy. We had to send food back several times due to not being right

      On Saturday October 12, 2024, my two daughters and I visited the IHOP in Englewood NJ store # 4630. We encountered a very unprofessional server and decided not to leave a tip. We all had separate checks and crossed out the section that says tip and just wrote the total. A few days later we noticed different charges on our card. The server had added unauthorized tips herself and made fraudulent charges on our Cards.

      I contacted the store manager Rafael. He did find the 3 receipts and as I imagined they were not the original. All 3 had tips and totals added but no signatures. How ironic for fraud. He apologized and offered a credit which is not an acceptable solution. This server is a criminal and needs to be terminated. I reached out to guest relations and they are no help. They do not answer emails or follow up. The entire IHOP company is trying to sweep under the rug that their employee committed fraud and stole from 3 guest. Please be mindful when visiting IHOP.

      My husband place an order. 5 pancakes. They was nasty. And the hostess has bad attitude like I don't have to spend my money with this restaurant which I'm not no more. No butter in the bag. 2 little syrup like this my lunch at work. Pancake tasted old like the mix wasn't fresh and they was not even busy. So no more. I'll just buy the mix at the store. I'm a tipper. The hostess needs be checked at high point, Parris Ave in NC. I will be spending my money on nasty food. It sucked.

      I’ve been going to IHOP for yrs. My Friday morning me time. This was the WORST experience ever. Coffee was cold, order was not right (and the fly) which she tried to catch (gross). When I mentioned I asked for no butter, she said “well I thought“. Just a bad experience (should have went to the usual IHOP). Spoke to the manager - she said “we can’t control the flies”. Seriously

      YouTube video: ** – trust me! OR put “Bad Customer Experience at IHOP Chris Brenner” in the YouTube search bar to find it that way. Wow... And not in a good way unfortunately! Go there to satisfy your curiosity maybe. One of the 2 female servers who works closing shifts, saw me walk in at around 8:30 pm when they close at 10 pm. She gave me a belittling smile while saying, "Oh God... You gotta be out of here by 9:30" and then she turned around. I replied with, "good evening, [name]. Nice to see you too." She ignored me and kept her back facing me.

      The next time I came in, she gave me crap for arriving at around 8:50 pm. She got pissed off and didn't hide it that I'm someone who could arrive between 8 and 8:30 pm and still not be walking out of there until sometime between 9:45 and 10 pm. How dare I, right? Maybe because I order 3 dishes and eat slowly because it's more comfortable and healthier. My right. She wanted me out by 9:30 so I couldn't possibly prevent her from leaving as early as she could. Kitchen closes at 9:30, she can cash out at 9:30 and... If there's any customers left in the place preventing her from leaving, it better not be me! Wow... Again. I had told her that she was acting like someone who didn't enjoy her job very much. Her response, "I love my job! You're the only one I don't like."

      Can totally tell that she loves her job with how quick she was to deny it and her eagerness to leave as early as the system can allow. She called me rude and condescending and stated that I need to show more respect. I mentioned the respect I show by proactively offering to pay before 9:30 pm so the cash out can happen ASAP. She gave an insulting whoop-dee-doo response to that. Well, I could easily have been rude and condescending towards her a few times when I was in the process of defending myself. It was retaliatory. There's other restaurants that I frequent and I get along great with all the servers. No other server has treated me (bullied me) like that. Not one! Not even close.
