We liked that they offered ease of communication and a collection structure that suited us. They take a portion of the recovered invoice, which means we didn’t have to pay additional fees like we might have done with an attorney in a civil case. The onboarding process with The Kaplan Group was smooth, and the collection was both effective and efficient. They have already completed the process, and it worked out well for us.       I opted for The Kaplan Group due to their local presence and their fee structure, only incurring costs if we successfully recovered payment. I approached them because I needed help collecting payment from a customer, as they specialize in collections. The onboarding experience was simple and straightforward; we set up our information in their system and handed over all necessary communications for them to handle.

      Within 30 days, The Kaplan Group notified us that the payment would be made in full. After the check cleared through their processes, they ensured we received the collection in a timely manner. The service provided was very effective, and the outcome was exactly what we were looking for. I'd confidently rate their service a 5, as they achieved all that was expected.

      While I wouldn't say that working with them has drastically changed my life, successfully collecting payment from the client was a big win and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to others. The customer service we encountered was fairly basic, but since the desired results were achieved, I'd give the relevant aspect of the experience a top score as well. In terms of costs, since there were no upfront fees, I would rate this at a 5 too.

      My experience with The Kaplan Group’s debt collection service was positive overall. What impressed me the most was that they handled everything as middlemen, which meant I didn't have to interact with people I wasn't on good terms with directly. This made the process much smoother for me.

      Although the resolution required some compromise on the amount I recovered, which was less than 100%, I believe it was likely more than I would have managed on my own.
