A company that presents itself professionally in a type of industry that doesn't have a great reputation is important. Nobody wants to go and find a collections company, but The Kaplan Group was everything we could have asked for. We were very satisfied. We had a customer that had run up substantial debts with us, and we reached an end of the road in terms of our ability to persuade them to pay. We sought out a collections agency to take care of it for us. The Kaplan Group was good at dealing with this specific type of situation, which was higher values, specifically in business to business type setting. They were very transparent about their fees and their communication was better than other companies in this kind of situation. The initial interaction I had with them was straightforward and positive. The way their onboarding process works made sense and was straightforward.

It took a long time for us to get to the end of it, but that was mostly down to the company that owed us the money just not having any. Kaplan was patient and good at regularly communicating. They gave us options, communicated regularly what the response they got was whenever they reached out. They resolved it and got us a settlement. We're happy with the outcome. Everything went exactly as we planned.

We googled companies and tried one, but they failed. Going down the list, we reached out to The Kaplan Group and they didn't fail. Onboarding was straightforward. We filled out some forms, had a call or two with them, then they got to work. They got us the settled amount and we didn't have to go through the court. Our experience has been good. We've been getting the money in our account on time, exactly what I wanted, so I cannot complain.

Onboarding was easy. Interactions were primarily via email. We had a client who did not pay their invoice and was not responding to our inquiries. We chose The Kaplan Group because of the ease of communication and the structure in which they collect. They take a portion of the invoice recovered versus having to pay additionally to an attorney and go to civil case. It was effective and efficient, and we're already over.

Onboarding was simple. We got set up in their system, which was pretty straightforward. We handed off all of the communications to Kaplan and let them take it from there. I was looking to get payment from a customer of ours. We were notified about 30 days later that the customer would be making a payment in full, and that the payment would go to them. Once it cleared, they gave it another 30 days to send us a check. Sure enough, 30 days later, they contacted us, said they were going to submit payment to us, and we got paid in full. I'd definitely recommend Kaplan to other people. They did exactly what they were supposed to do.

Kaplan is effective at what they do. I had a client that was not paying, and Kaplan played the middleman, negotiated with the client, and got it done. I was very comfortable dealing with them.

I liked that I didn’t have to communicate with someone I already wasn’t getting along with, since The Kaplan Group did that for me and acted as an arbitrator. Everything went well, though I do feel like I had to compromise on how much I got paid because they negotiated for less than 100% of the payments. But other than that, it was a good experience.
