How The Credit Pros works

Once you are a client of The Credit Pros, a specialist will begin sending letters to the three credit bureaus addressing inaccurate items on your credit report. It takes about 60 days to see improvements on your credit report. When you receive updated credit reports, you then mail or fax them to The Credit Pros. You’ll continually send updated copies throughout the process.

The Credit Pros disputes negative marks on your credit report on your behalf. You can start with a free consultation, which won’t affect your credit score. Once you’re a client, a specialist will begin sending letters to the three credit bureaus addressing inaccurate items on your credit report.

It takes about 60 days to see improvements on your credit report. When you receive updated credit reports, you then mail or fax them to The Credit Pros. You’ll continually send updated copies throughout the process.

Once The Credit Pros successfully removes an item from your report, the company will reinvestigate for free if the negative mark gets reinstated to your credit report.

The company uses secure sockets layer (SSL) security technology to encrypt sensitive information. When you browse The Credit Pros website, you do so anonymously, and your personal data isn’t collected. Your information is then maintained with industry-standard safeguards.

The Credit Pros plans

The Credit Pros offers three monthly plans. The Money Management Plan focuses on building credit, while the Prosperity Plan and Success Plus Plan include credit repair services.

  • The Money Management Plan includes one credit bureau report and score, dark web monitoring, TransUnion fraud alerts, real-time account syncing, bill reminders and tools for budgeting and debt payoff.
  • The Prosperity Plan includes all of the features from the Money Management Plan, plus unlimited disputes with all three credit bureaus, creditor interventions, cease-and-desist letters, letters of reference and access to reports and scores from all three credit bureaus.
  • The Success Plus Plan includes everything in the Prosperity Plan, plus positive payment reporting and a credit-building tradeline, which may help clients add positive payment history to their credit reports.

The Credit Pros fees

The Credit Pros offers three tiers of service at different monthly rates:

  • The Money Management Plan costs $69 per month and has a $119 first-work fee.
  • The Prosperity Plan costs $129 per month and has a $129 first-work fee.
  • The Success Plus Plan costs $149 per month and has a $149 first-work fee.

You can cancel your service at any time.

The Credit Pros is available in 46 states. At the time of publishing, it’s unavailable in Kansas, Maine, Minnesota and Oregon.

Does The Credit Pros offer any guarantees?

Yes, The Credit Pros offers a 60-day satisfaction guarantee. Like all credit repair companies, The Credit Pros can’t guarantee an outcome. But if you’re unsatisfied after 60 days, the company says it will extend your service for free for up to the same number of months you’ve already paid for.

      I enrolled with The Credit Pros in April of 2026 and paid $149. I was told that I wouldn't be charged again without my permission. It is May 2026. 2 days before I was supposed to be charged again and I called to cancel because I'd rather spend that large chunk of money on something more useful as nothing had been done to improve my credit currently which I figured it wouldn't happen fast but all they did was spam the same "does not recognize this inquiry" to try to dispute hard inquiries off my credit. I was told I could cancel with no hassle but that was obviously a lie considering I spent half an hour on the phone trying to cancel while being badgered to continue service.

      When I made it clear I didn't want to continue service they tried to tell me I had a balance of $250 something dollars to pay and I said, "No I didn't because I had paid the first month $149 and nothing had been done and on the online portal it said I had no balance." So I knew they were just trying to squeeze me for more money. Why would I pay $400 in two separate payments for no results? It was made clear that I was going to get a hassle.

      I hung up and called my bank, explained what was going on, and was advised to come in to cancel my card they had on file as I wasn't the only person they had heard this happen to. I later received an email saying "sorry to see you leave" so my only conclusion was that they could cancel my service but wanted to see what they could get out of me first. Anyways my advice is learn from my $149 mistake and don't waste your time. You can do exactly what they do on your own to improve your credit without getting scammed.

      I believed their suggestions initially. But then, without my approval, they took the initiative to withdrawal 40.00 from my bank account. THEN, wanted me to extend an extra 6 mos. to payment plan.

      This has been the worst experience. I not only paid the initial 149 but tried to cancel 9 days later and got charged more to cancel when I was told I could cancel at anytime. What a joke. Keep looking. This is a scam.

      This is a Scam, don't convince yourself that it will work for you they tried to charge me $300 for 30 days of my account being active, told me they sent letters, that I can't see or access to know if they've actually sent them. Go on YouTube and figure out how to fix your credit for free yourself.

      This company is a scam. No such thing as having someone repairing your credit, hard inquiries take a bit to rebuild which can only be done personally with proper credit card usage and more. I would never advise to sign up with Credit Pros. It's a waste of money and a ripoff, nothing changes. They roped me into a scam when they said $149 a month. First you have to pay a sign up fee for $149 (which wasn't mentioned) then next month on billing date they will charge you again. I would never ever sign up for these so called Credit Pros.

      I was told that there was a money back guarantee. I have not even had them helping me for a month more like a week, and they refuse to give me my money back. I am not happy with them at all. I paid $149 then the next day they attempted to take another $149 out of my checking account again! And everyone I talk to acts like they can not understand what I am trying to say. They will not cancel my so called “membership“ and are making me stay enrolled!?! I’m going to make some calls to my attorney and see what I can do about this scamming company….PLEASE DO NOT FALL FOR THE FAST TALKING SALES PITCH. IT IS A LIE!!!!

      Scammers. I was a customer for about a year before deciding to cancel my account. My credit score has barely moved and I was ready to opt out of the service. The customer service representative gave me an extremely hard time canceling my account and demanded that I at least pay a fee of $32 to cancel. When I didn’t pay the $32 Credit pros withdrew $149 out of my account the next day. And then proceeded to send me a cancellation email after they withdrew the money out of my account. I repeatedly called and asked for a refund. Their team has gaslit me and refused to cooperate.

      I was with them for a few months. I at first was interested in the rent to own properties. Long story short moved without them. Now I'm paying 149.00 a month for so called credit repair. I make a couple payments no change to my credit. My score going in was 640. I tell them I can't afford it. Now after leaving my score dropped to 560. I can't believe it! I don't know what they did. Never deal with these people. I have more. I'll put it in another review.

      I have been with Credit Pros for almost 2 years. Every time I've reached out to them saying why is my credit score not getting improved I get a woman named Tori who is just customer service. She has refused to escalate this to the management team. She refuses to let me go beyond her scope and her pay grade which tells me very clearly she doesn't want her upper management to know the truth. They have made a lot of promises. As far as I'm concerned there are sales organization. They suck your money every single month. They have ripped my husband and I off severely thinking telling me you need a line of credit, you don't have positive credit. I have no other bills except the original ones. I have a very small file on the three credit bureaus. They have done very little for me and I've told them if they don't refund my money then I'm going to join the class action suit there's been several and there's an open one now.

      I encourage anyone who has been ripped off by credit pro to look on the internet and see there are at least two class action suits that are open right now against credit pros. I am definitely joining one of them and I'm very encouraged to right now go to the State of Florida as well as new stations against this company. They need to be exposed for the sales organization that they really are. They do not deliver what they promise

      This company is a total ripoff, I knew I didn’t have anything on my credit, 2 credit cards, both fairly knew, no money owed on either card, the guy even told me, there wasn’t a lot they could do for me except challenge that bill, so he said one time fee for the one bill, I was & am working on credit, I don’t make enough to pay a $149.00 a month even if my credit were bad. But trying to get ahold of someone to resolve absolute nightmare!!!! If you do businesses with them!! WATCH YOUR BANK ACCOUNT!!!!

      I'm having credit issues. I was creating an account with Experian Bureau. The link with experian, directed me to the Credit Pros. I called the number. The agent that answered the phone was Mr. **, I think that's how you spell his last name. He was very informative. He was also patient and, understanding. He took the time! To explain everything to me. He also made sure that I had a good understanding. I could have done the work myself. I did start some of the process on my own. Upon talking to the agent. I began to feel more comfortable about it. They are taking care of all three bureaus altogether. So, that was less stress for me. And, I was stressful!! I feel pretty confident that they are going to do what they said. They also offered me a letter of evidence that they are handling my situation for proof of renting. That's until everything is finalized. They said they will handle it. And I believe they will. So, we will see 👀.

      This is the first time I have written about a particular company like Credit Pros. Maybe my experience was the odd all in the group but I have nothing good to say about credit pros. I originally talked to someone named Carlos from credit repair at 973-233-4388 who then transferred me to credit pros. It was a bait and switch operation that I did not recognize as such. I paid $119 to utilize their services. I realized what it was AFTER I paid the $119.

      I have been trying to get my money back and I'm of the opinion that I SHOULD get my money back because I have NEVER used their services. I have paid money for something that I did not use because I thought there was something fishy about their operation. I have not used the services offered in any way. I have not sent any information to get started in the programs they offer.

      I have tried contacting credit pros asking for my money back and I am continually getting the runaround, being transferred to another person over and over again. I FINALLY got someone who had the authority to get my money back to me and that person flat out said I can't have my money back. I later tried again (because I couldn't believe a company would treat someone so harshly).

      After the same runaround and phone transfers and hangups, I again was in contact with someone who had the authority to get my money back to me. After arguing with this person for quite a while this person finally said ok, you'll get your money back. This was almost 3 months ago. I have been patiently waiting for way to long. I still have no money in my account that I used to pay the original $119. So not only is credit pros and bait and switch company, they are also a company that flat out lies to people. This company should be banned from doing any kind of business and forced to stop lying to people. Maybe with a jail term or two tossed in for good measure. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!! IT'S A SCAM OUTFIT STEALING MONEY FROM GOOD PEOPLE!!! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!

You may have been sent to our automated system to verify your account info. You enrolled in our service on 2/12/25 & signed the electronic agreement. Dispute letters were sent to the credit bureaus the following day. We’re unsure why the service felt misleading. We've reached out and left messages.       The setup and processing was not difficult at all. I was able to receive a discount and various options for documentation uploading. They have a secure texting and email line. This is very convenient for ones with limited devices or complications on their phones attempting to access the website.

      Friendly service! I literally asked a million questions and they were patient, kind, and they've been real life helping my credit and walking me through each and every step. Whenever I think back to other credit agencies I was always in the dark about how to handle things but not here!

      Generally pretty worthless service, they really didn’t fight strongly to dispute inaccuracies on my report. They will send out generalized letters which will absolutely be hit or miss, they won’t gather details or information from you at all to help support your dispute which means that your dispute will have a lower chance of success (all while you’re paying them a monthly fee for their help)

      Very difficult to log in to the website, constant issues with resetting my password successfully to login and the website producing errors (had to call customer service every time just to reset my password successfully and login to the point where it seemed like an intentional effort to limit services). Support staff entirely based in India. No one from the support staff was outright rude or anything, but at the same time they really don’t have any empathy or deep care in helping to resolve your situation being across an entire ocean away.

      I began services with The Credit Pros in an effort to improve my credit score. After the initial payment of $119 on May the 30th I realized I would a not be able to continue the monthly payments and my money would be better used trying to pat down my debt. I called on June 4th to cancel. However the company representative was so persistent that I agreed to one month free and the a "reduced" rate of $79 a month. I then called again on July 1st to cancel. This time receiving bo resistance from the representative.

      On July 18th I was billed $79. I did not find out about the charge until July 19th. I called the company again to complain and request a refund. My experience was very intense and is much to long to report in detail. Suffice it to say the I had to make 3 different phone calls, speak to 4 different people and resort to threats to report them to my State's Attorney General's office to get them to cancel my contract and promise to return my money. I wish I could go into detail regarding my experience as it was truly painful. By the way during the time I was a "member", there were only 3 letters sent out and those did not affect my credit score in any manner.

Improvements in the scores is based on a combination of factors on the reports. Our phone records don't show a cancel request on 7/1/25, which is why you were billed on 7/18/25.       Signed up 2 months ago and nothing positive has happened.. I got more things removed on my own than they have done.. More interested in inquiries than the few negative items they should be working on... After canceling still charged my card 149. We called refused to refund the card... so now have to fight them and cancel my credit card..

      This is a terrible company. They will take your money and make you promises and then deliver absolutely nothing. Then, as a bonus, after you’ve terminated your contract, they will continue to bill you and tell you they have no record of you terminating the contract. If this all sounds great to you, then you have found your match.

      Originally, when I started my credit score was very low and I had negative history on my credit. But as soon as I joined The Credit Pros between 4 to 6 months, my credit score started coming up and most of the negative history on my files are being cleared out. Thanks to the credit pros.
