What is Fisher Capital?
Fisher Capital is a California-based precious metals dealer. The company only sells government-minted coins and stores your metals in licensed depositories. This ensures your coins are pure and of the highest standard, that they're stored in quality facilities and that your IRA account meets all compliance standards.
Should you change your mind about your purchase or want to liquidate your precious metals assets, Fisher Capital will buy back all the products it sold to you.
It boasts a commitment to values like integrity and service and strives to be a company consumers can trust. Fisher Capital claims its company policies and procedures adhere to the USA Patriot Act, the Bank Secrecy Act and anti-money laundering programs.
Fisher Capital costs and fees
Fisher Capital doesn’t list prices online for its precious metals, but its catalog includes gold and silver items. It lists exclusive coins like several types of Canadian, British and bullion coins. The company’s website also mentions it sells gold and silver bars, but it doesn’t show these products on its site.
Fisher Capital does mention it sells its precious metals at market value, which may be more or less than Fisher Capital’s repurchase price if you were to sell back your items. The company doesn’t disclose shipping costs, since costs vary based on the contents of the shipment and which shipping carrier is used.

Fisher Capital called me and I talked to them then did some research. They called me again and I asked how it worked. I told them to take the money out of my 401(k) and put it in there. It was a four-week process. They called me up, said it was done, and told me the things that we talked about. I did a 70-30 on silver to gold percentage. Alex did a good job. He knew what he was talking about. I didn't feel like he was trying to sell me on anything. He was just trying to make sure that he could give me as much information for me to make a decision. But I haven't heard from them since two days after and would like to have them check in on me.

I was sick of losing money in my retirement fund. I researched online and talked to a few friends. I have another friend who went with a company and she was very happy with them. I decided to go with Fisher. They walked me through the process really nicely. They were very helpful and explained things to me. This was a move I had to make, so I made it. I was hoping that I made the right decision. It's a lot of risk to take everything and to put it into precious metals and not touch it for 10 years. I could lose everything. I've got to educate myself more on the things that I can do if I feel it's going up and I can turn some of that around into something different. All in all, I've recommended Fisher.

I am a semi-retired as a nurse and I didn't know what to do with what I had and it was going down. I've always wanted to invest in gold IRA or precious metals so I looked around and I liked what I read on Fisher Capital's website. I really like their mission statement. The actual process of buying was difficult and that was one of the issues I had. But I'm learning now and I'm looking up stuff and trying to find it out. I got a self-directed IRA done. My husband's really good with it, so he really helps me too.
The two guys that I talked to were also very helpful. I had to call them once or twice to ask questions again. But it's probably my age. I'm 69 now and this is new. I had to understand how it's processed and what it all entails. I had a really good talk this morning with another person there and I and my husband feel like everything's okay. They're honest. You can look up things online too. I'm pretty happy about Fisher Capital after I understood things better. It was a process for me because I was totally ignorant. I just wanted to do this. I'm learning a lot and I really did appreciate the conversations I had with customer service and their support.

The Fisher Capital guy that worked with me got all the different types for the amount that I had put in. He was really good,. He helped me try to get my money out of my everyday stock stuff over to them. That was a big issue. But he worked real hard with that, and finally got that done. My only concern is I don't understand the smelt value and exactly how the gold and silver actually work and where I can see my growth. I don't like that's on them. If I can see a line graph of it going up and down, I can understand. I like to see a progression. But overall, I have been very comfortable with my money there. My money is safe and I won't have to worry about what the market does.

I retired in 2021 and over the 30-some odd years, I had different mutual funds and savings and things in that regard. We came into a reckless and corrupt administration and I did not want to lose the value of what I had. It was amazing to me that I even answered Fisher's call when I was driving. The rep was talking to me about it and I said I would be interested in hearing more about it because that was in the back of my head. I could see a loss in some of the things that I already had and I thought it might only get worse. Rather than not gaining as much, at least staying steady with what I already have was my reason for going with Fisher. I would rather just not lose anything and to elevate slower depending on how things could go. This could go well and i could get more.
I had all of the different questions and concerns. I was most impressed with Fisher thoroughly explaining them. I wanted things to be explained as elementary as possible so that I could make an informed decision. Those representatives explained to me and assisted me in getting my transfer. It was a very arduous process. They were very helpful and they were paying attention to the customer. They were making sure that I was comfortable. There was assistance in helping me to track down funds that I had. I know how much money I should have had but I couldn't just not know where it is. It was all over the place in that regard. They explained to me how I would get a monthly statement. I would be able to see what was happening and it would be difficult for me to get my money out.

My experience with Fisher Capital was great. I'm retired and I wanted to put my money where it's safe. I liked the guy from Fisher Capital that was talking to me and explaining stuff to me. There was somebody else that I spoke to and he was also very knowledgeable. Then you send them a check. They overnight it. You get your metals within 28 days. They also have a lot of information to share. It was extremely easy.

I had a good experience with them so far. However, they may be a little slow in updating the information on my home page. It's updating, but it seems like it's slow to me a little bit. But their customer service has been great. They've sent me plenty of information and disclosures.

The process was long because I took my time and they explained everything. I asked them a lot of questions. I talked to the CEO and he walked me through the best investments to make. When I had some questions, and the next day it was Easter weekend, I left him a message and he got back to me during the weekend. He was on his way to catch a plane and he still called me. They did a really thorough job.

The people at Fisher Capital were really nice all the way and wonderful. The man I worked with helped me pick out the things, too, and I appreciate that because they have many pieces. One thing that they told me is to make sure that I'm going to be holding on to it for five or more years because it does have a markup on the gold. I didn’t know that and I appreciated them telling me that. Also, Fisher is a Christian organization and that meant a lot to me because I'm a Christian myself.

They were very nice and they followed up, which is one thing that's very important with sales. Also, the process was easy.
