Giving this place a 1 star is far too generous. Months ago I purchased three tickets online for the Culture Club. Shortly after the Culture Club cancelled their show Natural then I went back to ticketsnow and asked for a refund being shocked that I wasn't given a refund automatically. Their response was no refunds no matter what. They even for me when I tried to dispute the charge on my American Express card twice. I have heard so many negative reviews of this company. I can't believe they treat their customers this way. I will never use this company again

Every year for Bayou Country Superfest I buy my daughter a floor ticket to attend the concert with her friends. I purchase a 2 day pass that costs 200+ dollars. This year I went to Ticketmaster as I always do and I ended up on Ticketsnow where I thought I was buying the same 2 day pass as always and paid 239. When the day came to print the ticket, the price on the ticket says "49" and "general admission." Now my daughter cannot attend because she would be sitting by herself rather than with a group of friends. I contacted them numerous times and they just fake apologize and refuse to help.

I was searching for tickets to Aladdin as my mom wanted to buy tickets and take her four grandchildren and I was rerouted to TicketsNow website. Their site showed the seats on a chart and I selected five seats in the first row on the balcony at 119$ each, then it asked me to create an account and enter my credit card info. After that it said there was an additional charge of $4.95. I asked my mom if she still wanted the tickets with the additional amount and she said yes. There was another button that said add $40 of some kind of insurance, when I said no to that option it immediately went to a page that said that my transaction was complete and my total was $718.95.

I couldn't believe my eyes, there was a number to call and I did immediately and customer service said they didn't have any information about my "order". I called my credit card immediately and they said we had to call the merchant, they connected me on a three way call and when I started explaining to them that I was charged $119 more than I was supposed to and there were no seats (later it turned out they sent me an email and my seats were not the once I selected on the first row). The customer service representative just hang up the phone even though I was explaining everything in a very calm way. I was thinking that an error like this would be fixed but the bank said they had to call them again. This time the rep. said that the tickets were final sale and there was no refund of any kind.

I can't believe this is permitted, they are horrible predators. I will complain to the Office of the Attorney General. I filed a dispute with my credit card and they are still waiting to hear back from TicketsNow. After that I have read many complaints and this company is so powerful and know very well how to trick people "legally". This is very sad and I wish someone put an end to these thieves.

I can't believe this fraudulent website steals money from honest people. My mom wanted to take the kids to a Broadway show, I guess tickets now has so much money that they have bombarded the web with their false information. I had the same horrible experience as many of the reviews I read so I won't repeat every detail. But I called them immediately to tell them I didn't authorize them to charge my credit card for the amount they did, and they said I can sell my tickets on their website for any price I want, and this would be the only way to get my money back. But I didn't want to fall in their trap as this would be me accepting the tickets. This is a real nightmare and I wish someone could stop this scam.

Unbelievable! One of the worst transactions I've gone through. So I ordered my tickets on a Tuesday for a show that is held Friday. On the Ticketsnow website it showed my section and verified that the tickets would be sent ELECTRONICALLY (meaning via e-mail) prior to the concert. I specifically chose tickets with this option knowing that Friday was approaching fast and I would be leaving Thursday for a meeting.

About 20 min after purchasing and receiving my confirmed email, a customer service representative called me asking if they could be shipped because the seller had an issue uploading them. I let the rep know that the only way they could be shipped is if they arrive by Wed because I was leaving early Thursday for a meeting out of town. She agreed and told me to wait for a confirmation from UPS and a tracking number. After not receiving one I called back and the new rep says, "The tickets won't be shipped until Wednesday and will arrive Thursday." I explained what the previous rep confirmed and he apologized and put me on hold to try to contact the seller to see if they could try to upload them due to my time frame. After holding he returned and said, "Sorry, the seller's office is closed and to please call back in the AM."

So I called back today, and asked if they could find a way to upload them electronically like promised. The service rep said that they couldn't, unfortunately. I asked whether or not I'm going to need a signature for the tickets (knowing I wouldn't be home) and she told me she would check and put me on hold. 30 minutes later she returns and says, "Can we send your tickets to a different address?" WHAT? All I want to know is if a signature is required or if they would leave my tickets at my doorstep so I can commute back to pick them up!!! She put me back on hold to check. After returning she says, "Yes, a signature is optional."

After letting her know that I was dissatisfied that the website promised an electronic delivery and that I was bummed I had to commute 2 hours back home to pick up my tickets that should have been through email, she responds with, "Well Sir, you shouldn't have agreed to a delivery." WHAAAAAAT? Seriously? Did she not comprehend one thing I said? Your rep promised delivery by Wed! Wow! Long story short, if your tickets show electronic delivery, take it with a grain of salt!

Ticket Master's owns Ticketsnow. When I bought tickets from Ticketsnow.com for a show in March 2015, I was shown I was getting "seats 47-50 on Row GA." When I printed the seats, they said "General Admission Standing Floor." Tickets now charged me $460 for four tickets that cost them $49.00 a piece. I don't mind paying more for tickets if I'm getting the seats I think I'm getting. But this is outrageous! I thought Ticket Master was a reputable name. It is not. Watch out for bait and switch when you are buying from Ticket Masters or Ticketsnow.com.

This is a terrible website for anyone who tries to buy tickets. Like many, I bought the tickets from Ticketsnow.com thinking that it's an authorized website (by the performers/venue). Once I finished the purchase, I realized it's a BIG mistake so I called within minutes trying to cancel and get my refund (before they even confirmed the purchase). They said the purchase has already been confirmed and they had a no-return, no-refund, no-cancellation, no-everything policy. I argued that was just done a minutes ago, but they still didn't allow me to do anything. They not only sold me tickets that are almost $30 higher per picket than the face value, they also charged service charge like more than $10 per ticket. They would give you confusing information on their website to trick you to believe you are getting good seats. And the No-return, No-cancellation, etc. information is listed at the bottom in very tiny tiny unclear fonts. DO NOT BUY TICKETS FROM THEM. IT'S A GIGANTIC SCAM.

I went on the Ticketmaster website to purchase tickets for Five Finger Death Punch and after looking through the seating chart and finding suitable seats I went to check out. Unbeknownst to me at the time I was directed to a site Ticketsnow.com. I later learned that this is reseller site of Ticketmaster and not just Ticketmaster. When I saw that each ticket was $80 I figured that was the price but in all actuality the tickets were only $23. Ticketmaster is basically giving scalpers a perfect opportunity to get around the fact that scalping is illegal. I looked through the site and found that these scalpers are buying up tickets and turning right around and selling them up to 10 times the face value. It is really sad that you can't even go see a concert without being scammed.

I called their customer service number and there's just nothing there; it's as if they never existed! All they could say was that if they had sold they should be there; therefore, they must not have sold???

That's at least lousy service and very bad business practice in my opinion, as well as a lack of transparency - i.e. with no record who really knows what happened; they just choose not to say one way or the other? I'll not be back unless they get their act together... and leaves me with questions as to whether they really are interested in selling tickets for their clients… and whether they are trustworthy.

I tried to book an NFL PRE-SEASON game (Chiefs v Vikings game) and then ANY royals’ game. AGAIN cannot use the gift cards. Sooo.. I still am unable to use $100.00 of gift card purchases. I am truly trying to use my gift card, no luck yet. If you have a gift card and look on the back of it, there are very few exclusions. The card does not have an expiration date ... YOU CANNOT BOOK ANYTHING THROUGH USING THEIR WEBSITE. Do not try to book NFL, NHL, MLB, or anything having to do with concerts. I have tried and verified these processes. If you call the number on the back of the gift card, you will hear from them that there are many exclusions. I would not recommend purchasing anything from TicketsNow.com-- ever.

Ok, to begin with, I'm never ever one to take the time to create an account and post a review online but after this experience and price, I promised myself I would. I bought tickets from this site TicketsNow.com to take my girlfriend to a concert for her birthday. I was really really hesitant about buying them from this site and I even did a little research on them asking google is TicketsNow a legit site. I guess I was just being stubborn and anxious that after seeing all the bad reviews on other websites I still bought these overpriced tickets from them (My Mistake)! So I bought (2) good seats for such an incredible amount ($151.20) only because on their site it said: "VIP Area/Club/Lounge access included." Well guess what, everyone. ---IT DIDN'T--- !!!

It confirmed I did under the ORDER DETAILS - under PRODUCTION NOTES "VIP Area/Club/Lounge access included." As soon as we walked in the event, I spoke to the first staff member I seen which so happened to be a Verizon amphitheater venue supervisor as she stated. I showed her my tickets and asked, "At what point do I receive my VIP bracelets or necklaces?" She asked to see my tickets and immediately asked, "What site did you guys buy these tickets from?"

"TicketsNow.com" & I showed her some screenshots of the transactions and proof that it said "VIP Area/Club/Lounge access included" ON MY PHONE written on their site next to my price confirmation.

She found it funny and said that this site was a scam and a 3RD PARTY SELLER and unfortunately I had been RIPPED OFF and showed me where it SHOULD HAVE said I had " VIP Area/Club/Lounge access included" on my tickets. She continued to tell me that there was nothing she could do about the VIP offers and to get in touch with the website. AND THAT WAS THAT. I continued to ponder and give my tickets a blank stare and noticed TicketsNow bought these tickets from TICKETMASTER for $36.00 Each and TicketsNow turned around and sold it to me for $63.00 EACH PLUS A $25.20 SERVICE CHARGE. TOTAL = $151.20

with a promise that it had "VIP Area/Club/Lounge access included" which it DID NOT.

WHAT A RIPOFF. THE ONLY REASON I PAID THE EXTRA MONEY! I KNEW IT WAS TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE AND IT JUST GOES TO SHOW I HAD A GUT FEELING WHEN I CLICKED PURCHASE and now I know why. Everyone please do yourself a favor and don't be fooled with Their False Promises. Buy your tickets from TICKETMASTER or a main source. Don't go through these 3rd party sellers. I learned my lesson and am happy to share it with Everyone. TicketsNow, you can go ahead and keep the change, YOU FILTHY ANIMALS. IF ANYONE IS CURIOUS FOR PROOF, I'LL BE GLAD TO SHARE.

I told him Stubhub, Craigslist, or wherever I could find a good legit deal. HE THEN STATED THAT THE ONLY WAY TO BE SURE OF MY TICKET SOURCE WAS IF I BOUGHT THEM FROM THEM!!! If Ticketsnow is owned by Ticketmaster, then why don't they require people to sell directly from their Ticketmaster account??? It's a 3rd party (scalper) site right? Then how dare they require me to have bought my tickets from them or from Ticketmaster to GET MY MONEY... Example - if you buy a ticket for $100 on Ticketmaster and they charge $30 in fees - and then resell the ticket for a $100 on TicketsNow (Owned by Ticketmaster) - they collect $15 from the seller, $22.50 from the buyer in addition to the $30 they collected up front. $67.50 they add and collect on a $100 ticket. Ticketsnow gladly accepted my payment and said the tickets would arrive via UPS. On 17 Mar, I had yet to receive the tickets and called Ticketsnow. They said these tickets had been "double sold" and that I would not get them, but that their policy is to provide tickets of "equal or greater" value. However they could only offer inferior seats (while the tickets were more expensive, they forced the original seller to make up the difference, thus not impacting Ticketsnow revenues). When I complained, they said I could have my money back - no consolation given. I bought non-refundable airline tickets to see the game. Furthermore the representatives never apologized or simply said "sorry", that this sometimes happens, but that there is no way an unsuspecting consumer could determine valid versus unscrupulous sellers because Ticketsnow is simply "middleman". Reading other people's comments, I get the impression these people don't realize they are dealing with a scalper's services. The tickets are going to be a lot more expensive than the printed ticket's price. Ticketsnow.com is providing a link between some guy that has tickets he isn't going to use, and some guy that wants the tickets. Ticketsnow isn't actually sitting on a bunch of tickets they themselves are trying to sell. So when you, as a buyer, are using their site to purchase a ticket, Ticketsnow has to turn around and make sure a buyer is still offering tickets at the price they thought they could buy them for. When a buyer places their order, they are warned, if they bothered reading, that the order takes up to (I think) 48 hours to confirm the transaction.

You'd be a fool to expect to use this service the day of an event, and actually have the tickets in hand, or get the exact seats that you saw available. If you have some lead time, you'd want to use this service at least a few days in advance of the event. You can roll the dice the day of the event if you're desperate, but realize that you're probably going to get different rows/seats/sections etc.

I was very happy with my experience, even though yes, I did pay more than double the ticket price, I got the tickets mailed to me, and even though they were just black & white 8.5x11 sheets of paper with the Ticketmaster ticket printed out on them, they worked and I got to see the event.

The tickets I wanted were shown on sale for seats 3, 4, 5, and 6 at Philips arena on the ground level. I purchased 2 tickets assuming they would be the best seats. WRONG. Most know that the lower the seat numbers in this section, the better the seats. Tickets.com immediately took my $112.50 for a "service" fee and then emailed me seats 5 and 6. After calling customer no-service, I was told it clearly states in their fine print that tickets are sold from highest to lowest. After going up the food chain, a supervisor told me she would call the ticket owners and see if they would swap. A minute later she gets back on, says they won't do it - I seriously doubt she really called. She then refused to give me a refund (also in the fine print) or the company's name that sold the tickets because once again, "policy states" that they can't reveal their names.

So, because I purchased 2 of the 4 tickets first, I'm penalized with poorer seats than the guy who buys the next 2? EXCUSABLE! The supervisor (Ms. Deena) went on to say that this is the way their business has always been done for 20 years. So, I guess that makes it right! BEWARE - these people are out to get your money and care ABSOLUTELY NOTHING for you as a customer. Their business model is based on getting ticket owners to post their tickets, then scoop up their commission and zap the poor ticket buyer with a $50 per ticket fee. AVOID TICKETSNOW.COM! When we arrived at Will Call, our tickets were for a Saturday show that was, of course, passed. I called the emergency number and was told the wrong tickets were printed and to wait. I waited at the window and the agent said she would check it out.

We waited 25 minutes and when she returned, no word from TicketsNow and she helped us get box seats (not what I purchased) and I was glad to get them. I guess she saw my confirmation, knew I paid, saw my two little boys (ages 2 and 4) and helped us. We got in the show after it started because of the delay. My boys thought it was great. They didn't know the difference. I spent the first 30 minutes angry about the situation and the rest of the show thankful for the kindness of the agent at the Will Call window who worked out tickets for us in a nice box without us spending extra money. If you have a special event that is important to you, I would not recommend this service at all. In fact, unless you live for disappointment, look elsewhere.

When I called the ticket broker, they denied they ever received the order from Ticketsnow. I called my credit card company and they canceled their payment, so I was not charged. Ticketsnow sucks!

They called saying that for that event, it would be a will call, tickets should be available at the window one hour before the event. I got there, there were no tickets! I called and the customer service representative seemed not to care, and said that they did not have the tickets and they had been trying to call me. I never received their phone call. They did not return the money either. I was frustrated - I won't have the opportunity to see this show again, and I'm at the door with no tickets. At the window, they had other people with the same problem, same company. I was lucky to find find 2 seats available, and ended up paying $200 less for same quality tickets that I bought at the window. Now I wonder if I will ever see that money again. This is a scam, they don't care, and I will find a way to take them to court.

Beware of this fraudulent website. I found this TicketsNow through an ad on the Ticketmaster website. Thinking it was a legitimate business, I decided to purchase two tickets for Spider-Man Turn Off the Day on Sept. 25th, 2012. I paid with my credit card and later, I received what it looked authentic tickets for the show. Unfortunately, on the date of the show, I took my wife with me only to find out the tickets were fake and that admittance to the event was denied. They couldn’t let us in unless we had authentic tickets (which I had to re-purchase at entrance). The only advice was not to buy from this fraudulent/rip off business.

The next day, I contacted TicketsNow to demand full refund of my money. At first, they argued my tickets were legitimate tickets and that maybe we didn’t show up for the event. I explained I had evidence of being at the show (since I had to re-purchase the tickets). So, they used a different tactic. They requested copy of the evidence (which I have sent few times already) to issue the refund. It’s been over a month, I’ve called several times and repeatedly being told by customer service representatives that they’d get back to me. They just keep giving me the runaround. At this point, I should just consult legal advice, not only to recover my money but to prevent deceitful sham to others. This site is a complete scam. Never use this site!

I see many negative reviews on here about TicketsNow.com. I personally feel that everyone here that had a bad experience does not really understand or care to understand the secondary ticket market. Concerts, sporting events and any other events, especially popular ones, sell very quick. The secondary ticket market is there to supply tickets to these events. Of course, the tickets are going to be marked up, it's simple supply and demand. If the demand exceeds the supply, then the price will go up. Ticket brokers buy these tickets and risk that the tickets won't sell without any type of security that they will break even or make a profit.

We, as consumers, must be more informed about what we are buying and from whom. It seems to me that many of the complaints here are based on how much they paid for the tickets vs what the face value of the tickets are. As a rule of thumb, you should always check the primary market first (Box Office or Ticketmaster.com) and if the event is all sold or your are unsatisfied with the inventory, then you go to secondary market and buy "resold" tickets. TicketsNow does not own any actual inventory; they have many independent sellers as well as ticket broker companies that use the website as a means of selling their tickets. What TicketsNow does is connect the sellers with the buyers. Their website details everything you need to know in their terms and conditions link that you must click to acknowledge that you are aware that you have read these terms before you can buy the tickets.

Any story that says they were unaware of this or that is totally wrong. It's not a company's fault that the purchaser was in a hurry or didn't want to read the info. If you're spending a lot of money on something, the least you can do is know exactly what you're getting into. If you want to hold the company responsible for this, then that is just wrong. Just because it's in fine print doesn't mean it's a "trick" or a "scheme" to get your money. I have done business with TicketsNow on several occasions and have always had a good experience with them. I'm aware that I'm overpaying but sometimes, that is the price to pay for something that is sold out.

If you don't like the price, then simply don't buy the tickets. Sometimes the market price for tickets (like the Super Bowl) is not worth attending the event. I just think that if you're not doing your homework and you get caught by surprise after the fact, it should not be the companies' fault; that should fall on the consumer regardless of the situation. Unless the company broke their promise, then it always should fall on the consumer.

Please take a few minutes to read through this long story as it clearly points out many reasons why you should not do business with TicketsNow.com. I purchased four tickets on TicketsNow.com for game four of the Pacers and Heats series. Not utilizing this site prior, I called customer service prior to purchase to ensure that they would be able to honor the fact that they could guarantee tickets to me prior to the event, even though it was less than 24 hours before the game. Once obtaining confirmation that the tickets would be on time, I placed the order (including paying for the $14.95 shipment fee for them to be delivered to my house). Less than 24 hours later, I was called by TicketsNow.com and was informed that I was able to pick up my tickets (at a location that was 45 minutes away from my house). After inquiring if the $14.95 shipping fee was going to be waived due to having to pick them up, I was questioned as to why. After settling that issue, I went to pick up the tickets at the location they indicated (one hour prior to the event) only to find there were no tickets available under my name and no recollection of the order number that was provided by TicketsNow.

Finally, after waiting approximately 1.5 hours, TicketsNow obtained four tickets to the event, allowing us to miss nearly the entire first half of the game as well as losing our reservation to the stadium restaurant for the game. It gets better. As I was on the phone with TicketsNow.com as they were scrambling around trying to find tickets to replace the ones they had already sold but did not truly have, the supervisor (Colleen) was acting as if she was doing me some major favor by doing her job! When inquiring as to a refund of the charges that TicketsNow.com charged me for essentially missing half of the game, losing my reservation, and basically ruining the experience of both myself and my friends, I was told that I was being completely unreasonable. The final chapter of the story ended with my noticing that not only had TicketsNow charged me the full amount for the tickets, but they charged me twice! The bottom line is that in a business that should be based around customer service (especially when their business model is built upon a legalized version of ticket scalping), TicketsNow.com is the worst company in which I have ever done business. I would suggest that you look elsewhere when looking to purchase tickets!

I ordered tickets to a Vikings game on August 22, 2010. The next business day, the funds were deducted from my account. After a week of absolutely no response from Ticketsnow.com, I sent an email inquiry as to the status of my order. I received a canned "we will respond within 24 hours" reply. After another week of no response, I inquired again through their website with the same results. I also used their "what's the status of my order" link on their website, which promptly notified me that they had no record of an order under my e-mail address. In order to recoup my loss, I filed a fraud complaint with my bank.

We ordered two tickets to the Reds playoff game for October 10th. It was bad enough the service charges were not specified and high in addition to the Fedex charges, but we accepted that as the tickets were a special present to my 16-year-old daughter who is a big Reds fan. We spent more than we ever dreamed we would.

We were aware our purchase was final when we hit the last button and a nice little message pops up after you finalize the order with a link to Facebook saying you should let all your friends know you are going to the Reds game. I thought my daughter would like this. She was so excited. However, the next day, we got a message that the tickets were "no longer available" and they had nothing left in that section. Worse yet, the tickets they had were not as good for higher prices. Oh yeah, and the Facebook link button was a total advertisement for their website that went directly on my Facebook page. I could not get it deleted. I will never purchase from this company again.

I found their website online looking to buy 2 tickets for the Tom Petty concert in Oakland, CA on 6/5/10. They listed 2 tickets for $392.00 which would be shipped to me via FedEx. So I clicked to buy and was initially shocked to see that their listing Quantity 2 at $392.00 did not mean that was the total price but that is what they charge per ticket. Their website is deliberately, if not, criminally misleading. So, I wrote this off to being tricked and figuring I was just stuck.

Then I was doubly shocked when they contacted me about 15 minutes after placing my order and advised me they were not shipping me the tickets FedEx which they charged me $14.95 for shipping costs and I would have to wander around Oracle Arena an hour for show, call some phone number and hopefully meet some guys they were sending to deliver me the tickets in person. I advised them this was totally unacceptable and that I had been charged for FedEx shipping so that is what they should do. They refused to honor my request so I said cancel my order.

They refused to cancel my order and when I said they should at least send by the $14.95 for shipping since they were not providing that service, they refused to refund my shipping charge. In fact, they had the gall to tell me that they charge for shipping whether they actually ship tickets or you have to pick them up at the event.

I went on to tell them their website was misleading and dishonest by not clearly stating ticket prices, service charges and definitely not stating their shipping charges. At this point, I was told all charges would stand and whether I like it or not, I am stuck. Ticketnow's unethical and misleading business practices through their website caused me to pay $943 for 2 tickets that were supposed to be shipped to me instead of approximately $470. I will have to adjust my schedule and give at least another hour of my time to get to the venue early and wander around hunting for their so called contact person to get my tickets. Please take action against these people. Please penalize them for their sleazy actions and get them to correct their misleading website and practices or shut them down!

I wanted to purchase 2 tickets for Radio City Christmas Show. I found tickets on Tickets Now, found the date and seats I wanted and saw that 11 were available. I clicked "buy now" and was sent to the next page to fill out a form with my information and credit card. I never chose the number of tickets I wanted. It automatically populated a form with all 11 tickets, but this was off to the left side and not on the main area of the page where I completed all the information. At the end of the form, you are told to click "submit" and so I did. Having done many online orders, I have assumed that the next screen would be the confirmation screen where I confirmed that all my information was correct as well as the order amount. This is the standard practice in online ordering, especially when there is a "no refund" policy.

Imagine my surprise when the order was suddenly completed and my credit card was charged for over $1,600! I was in shock and immediately called but the offices were closed. I then found an email address online and asked for help. I also found an email address in the order confirmation email I received and emailed it. All this was within minutes of completing the order. The next day, I got an email from Tickets Now telling me that there was nothing I could do, that I was responsible for the tickets and the money. I called customer services and was told the same. I asked for a manager and was told the same. She said that she attempted to contact the owner of the tickets and they would not refund my money. They would not help me and offered no assistance.

Tickets Now should be held accountable for a website order form which is confusing and leads customers into purchasing unwanted tickets. I think a law suit should be filed on my behalf and of others who have been tricked. I cannot believe that they were unwilling to help me. This was an honest mistake. Even the airlines will honor a refund in cases like this. Clearly, there is an issue with their order process. Their only suggestion was I take possession of the tickets and attempt to resell them myself through Tickets Now. This is not reasonable because Tickets Now charged me an almost 20% fee per ticket for a total of over $200 and they would then charge a fee of 15% to sell them so even if by some miracle I could resell them, I would never recoup all the money.

She thought she was buying from Ticketmaster or a Ticketmaster outlet as it stated Ticketmaster on the website. In fact, they have nothing to do with Ticketmaster and state in small print that they buy from Ticketmaster and resell the tickets. She was not aware of this. In addition, she put that she wanted to but 2 tickets for the show. She was billed for $10! It showed $10 on the receipt, even though both of us knew (as she asked me to review the ticket information before she hit Submit) that she had put 2. There was obviously an error with the website or the computer. My guess is the website. But I will stick with facts.

When she called to tell them there was a mistake and would like to cancel the order, they simply refused. We then looked at the tickets she had ordered and the section. She had bought the $130 tickets as she knew those were good seats. Well, what they didn't list when she bought them was that these were $44.50 tickets in the very back with a partially obstructed view. The show is not sold out, so trying to resell these is next to impossible. I just can't believe they would be so deceiving. She meant to order 2 tickets in a good section and ended up spending $1500.00 for 10 seats in a horrible section. She is retired and living on Social Security and a part-time job, and this was a Christmas present to me (her son) to take me to this. I have a very unpleasant issue to solve related to U2 tickets bought for the concert in Giant Stadium/New York originally on Sept. 25th. I had purchased the tickets on June 28th through TicketsNow, since the event was sold out already. Since I really enjoy the band, my whole trip to the US was based on the Sept. 25th date; that means hotel, flights, insurance, everything. All these information can be checked as I have kept all originals with me.

Well, unfortunately only on Sept. 4th, I was notified by email that the date of the event was changed to Sept. 23rd. In such a short period, I was not able to reschedule the whole trip plan that was already paid. Anyway the cost of changing would make the trip impossible due to the fees charged by the flight and hotel operators to make changes.

To make a long story short, the whole plan collapsed. I called the Customer Service to inquire about reimbursement and I was told that this policy is not valid since the event was postponed (?). How can this be? I do not live in US. I'm a Brazilian citizen and the show was expected to take place on Sept. 25th and everything was done on that basis. It's impossible for me to change plans like this.

As a customer, I think this is a case where reimbursement may be applied, specially because I do not live in US. I tried all available channels as described above but this is a special matter and they're not prepared to deal with problems from foreign clients. Please, I need to solve this issue quickly. I'm a great U2 fan and never heard about any postponement of the band. It was very disappointing to miss the event which took me several days to plan and also 360 dollars for 2 tickets. As I wrote before, names, dates, flight, hotels, everything here can be easily verified as I have the originals with me. Hope to hear from you soon.

I got seats in Section 1, Row K (actually the 9th row) and was charged $188.00 for each ticket, plus service charges, shipping charges etc., totaling $447.35.

This was the first time I used TicketsNow. I usually use a provider where you can print your tickets instantly, so it didn't occur to me that I had not gotten my tickets until September 23rd. After about 6 hours, they called me back and said, "Sorry, those tickets are not available." I was in shock! I asked, "What do you mean not available?" They said there was an error and they were just not available.

I asked, "Well your receipt says the tickets are guaranteed. What’s the guarantee?" They said we could either offer you general admission tickets for $150.00 each or refund your money. I said are you crazy?! I will not pay $150.00 for general admission and refunding my money is a refund policy, not a guarantee! Made no difference, the fact was I was not getting tickets, and they didn't give a **! I demanded they credit back my card immediately. They tried to say it would take 30 - 60 days before I might see the credit on my card! I said no, you’re going to call my credit card right now and credit back the money because what you did to me is illegal! Never, never use this company!

I sent an email to their corporate office, no response. I also sent an email directly to the Average White Banks website. They responded that the tickets that TicketsNow tried to sell me were actually $65.00 each, not $188.00! Being the great band they are, they invited me to be their guest at the concert, so everything worked out good for me, but I know there are people out there not so lucky! I have just finished reading through the list of complaints about TicketsNow, which is apparently a subsidiary of TicketMaster. I also have no problem with companies making a reasonable profit, but TicketNow's business practices are downright deceitful, astoundingly so. I wanted to buy Gypsy King concert tickets for June 6, 2009. I was directed to the TicketNow site. I paid $124 each for four tickets. I thought the price was a bit steep, but it still seemed believable if the seats were as good as the note suggested. I was also confused by the info box that told me how many tickets were left. I thought this referred to tickets for the entire concert in general and that I had to purchase quickly before the concert sold out.

When I went to purchase, I saw a $14.95 charge for FedExing the tickets. That also seemed steep, but I accepted. It was not until after I purchased the tickets that I saw that I had been billed an $18.60 service charge for each ticket. Furious, I then did some research and found that I could have gotten the same tickets for $65 (and that there were still plenty of tickets left). So my total was $585.35 for something that could have cost as little as $267. I called TicketNow and was given the same line about reading the fine print, about the difference between the face and market value of the tickets. Market value? With the great number of tickets still unsold for this particular concert, TicketNow has nothing to do with actual market value. Totally deceptive, disgusting business practices. My wife and 11-old daughter went online to purchase tickets for a Canadian concert for the Jonas Brothers. They thought they were dealing with Ticketmaster. We ended up paying double the face value plus all funds in US Dollars - for a Canadian event that should be available in Canadian dollars. The customer service department refuses to reverse the charges. This is nothing less than ticket scalping. Where is the legislation to protect the consumer?

I bought 2 tickets, and this was supposed to be a presale. I am disgusted, totally broke, and very untrusting right now. This is a disgrace. I am very unhappy. I don't understand why Ticketmaster would redirect a consumer who is trying to buy tickets during a presale to their other company that charges double. Economically, these tickets are expensive and we really shouldn't be indulging ourselves; and now, it is costing us double.

I feel like I have been scammed. I bought two tickets for $730.25 for the Beatles. When I received the tickets, they were priced at $30 a ticket. Then I found out they were not for the concert I wanted. Their website was not clear that this was a cover band. I wanted to go and see Paul McCartney and Ringo Star. Why would I pay that much to go see a cover band? And why would I pay $730.25 through TicketsNow when I could have bought these tickets for $60 from the venue? There were still many tickets available. I called TicketsNow and explained to them the mistake and they laughed at me and said there are no refunds and that I would be surprised how many people do not research. They bank on people not researching these tickets so they can rip people off. They also said that they don't monitor the websites and they don't monitor what the tickets are selling for.

I am not usually a complainer, but this hurt. My only dream was to go see the rest of the Beatles in concert. I now will not be able to do so. And I will never buy anything else online. This taught me that it is legal to scam consumers. Plus with the economy and my company laying off people/cutting back hours, I could not afford just throwing $730.25 in the garbage.

I ended up paying $250 dollars for a show that should have cost me $50. I don't have a problem paying a reasonable price but this was absolute robbery. On Jan. 30, 2009, my son purchased 4 tickets from TICKETS NOW for a "Phish" concert occuring at the Jones Beach Theater on 6/5/09. The Ticketmaster website sent him directly to the Tickets Now website. As Ticketmaster sells tickets at face value plus service charges, he assumed the same would apply. He purchased 4 tickets for what he thought was a TOTAL of approximately $250 as he was aware the price of each ticket was to be ~$60. In fact, the price of ~ $250 was PER TICKET: a total purchase to $1,123.55! The Tickets Now website is intentionally misleading:the number of available tickets appears in a box with a price next to it which is easily misconstrued as the total price. Also, the information about the total cost of your purchase is off to the side, rather than in the customary location above your acceptance of the purchase. He immediately called Tickets Now and was informed that the tickets were non-refundable. I have made multiple phone calls, and spoken with managers who no longer return my calls. Of note, is the fact that these tickets were sold at this outrageous price at a time when the concert was NOT sold out. It is NO COINCIDENCE that Ticketmaster directed the request for tickets to Tickets Now since Tickets Now is a subsidiary of Ticketmaster; and LIVE NATION, (the primary distributor of tickets for this concert) is in negotiations with Ticketmaster to merge! Weeks AFTER I began disputing these charges, news came out that Bruce Springsteen concert tickets had been sold in the same way: Ticketmaster directed you to the Tickets Now website where tickets were sold at highly inflated prices. Those who disputed the prices of Springsteen tickets with Tickets Now HAVE been reimbursed the difference between the face value and the inflated price. I have not been able to get the same satisfaction. I would be happy with either a refund of the differential OR a full refund without the tickets. My Tickets Now confirmation # is 208937117. Incidentally, I have not received my tickets.

This complaint is two-fold. On 12/20/08 I placed an order for Bill Cosby show tickets to be a Christmas gift for my parents. After receiving a notice from TicketsNow that the tickets had shipped to FEDEX on 12/24/08, I expected my order to arrive shortly. When tickets didn't arrive by 12/27/08, I called. I was then informed that the event organizers had not shipped them yet, but that delivery was guaranteed 48 hours before the show date (2/14/09). Okay, now there's no timetable for actual delivery, but TicketsNow sends me a FEDEX tracking number. I checked back a few weeks later. No update on the FEDEX website. I called TicketsNow again and was assured the tickets would be shipped in time. Still no delivery by 2/11/09 so I called TicketsNow again. First they contact FEDEX and they said my tickets were delivered AND signed for! The address and signature for delivery happened across town somewhere, not even close to my address. Needless to say, that was a huge mistake on the part of FEDEX. TicketsNow then supposedly upgraded my seat location and said my tickets would be sent FEDEX NEXT DAY. So I'm home ALL DAY but according to FEDEX, an attempt was made @ 9:00 am. I found NO TAG or any other evidence that an attempt was made. I call FEDEX with the tracking number and ask for a driver to re-deliver that day. I wait ALL DAY and at 8pm I call FEDEX again. Now the story is that the driver may not have received the earlier message, but my package will be delivered by 10:30 am NEXT DAY. At 11:00 am, still no package. I call FEDEX and TicketsNow to at least get a refund on the $14.95 delivery charge. Both parties state to contact the other for a refund, with no results. Finally, at 12pm FEDEX arrives. I ask the driver what happened and his only response is that he wasn't the driver yesterday. Whatever. Then an unidentified FEDEX person calls me at 12:10pm stating a driver should be arriving in 20 minutes. Horrible. Isn't this some kind of fraud? TicketsNow did not get me the tickets I ordered, nor were they delivered within the 48 hours of the event.

I went on to the ticketmaster.com Web site on Saturday morning, Jan. 31 at 8:55 a.m. to purchase Jimmy Buffett tickets for a concert in Waikiki on Feb. 28. The tickets were to go on sale at 9 a.m. but I went on early just in case they opened for sale a little early.
They didn't. But at 9 a.m. on the button, I got through and clicked on best available for 2 tickets. At the venue here in Waikiki, there are seats and then there is lawn seating way in the back. And at 9:00 a.m. (the clock had not even clicked over to 9:01 yet) the only seats available were lawn seats. So I hit try again (or what ever the option is to try for better seats. and it came up with only lawn seats again, and again. Six or eight times. Then, instead of hitting best available, I decided to cue in specifically $125 seats the best ones. This time, while I was still only offered lawn seats, the web site gave me the option of clicking on Tickets Now for better seat options. (Some in the front seats sections.) So I clicked on that. The tickets here were very expensive twice the price of the most expensive ones on ticketmaster's face value seats. But because we really wanted to be in seats, not on the lawn, I purchased 2 tickets in Section C Row 3 for $239 each. It wasn't until I received an email confirmation later, that I was informed of the $35.85 EACH (so $70 plus dollars) service charge they were charging me PLUS shipping charges of $14.95 for a grand total of $564.65. (P.S. Ticketmaster's service charge is $11.70 each ... so again, this is more than triple the cost for service. Now, in spite of the fact that this was more than double the $250. I would have paid for 2 tickets face value, I was happy to be in the 3rd row. So, two days later, I came home to a voice mail message from Tickets Now. The call came in on Monday, Feb. 2 at 10:48 a.m. The person, Hector, asked me to call him at 866-441-8450 at ext. 50209 right away about my tickets. I called him back as soon as I returned home around 1:30 p.m. He informed me that the seller (who remained anonymous) had mistakenly sold my tickets 3 or 4 times and that he had already given the better replacement seats out to the other two damaged parties. So what he offered me was 2 seats in Section D Row 7 (three rows back from where my original seats were) OR in Section B Row 4 (more over to the side not straight in the center.) He told me that he'd of course give me a discount on the tickets because they weren't as good seats. So I asked how much of a discount, and how much each of the replacement options would cost, because that might affect which ones I picked. He said he couldn't tell me. He said that Tickets Now would give me a $25 discount (a 0.05% discount) and that he would try and get the seller to give me an additional discount as well, but he would have to call this seller. He said this was my only option. If I didn't like either of the seats, he could refund my money. So I picked the seats in section D, row 7. About 10 or 15 minutes later, he called back to say it was finalized and he'd gotten those seats. I asked about the discount and the seller had graciously offered to pay for the shipping of $14.95. So together with the $25 discount, I would get a $39.95 discount for getting worse seats and accepting their mistake of selling my tickets to someone else. I have to add here that I live in Hawaii and mail takes one day to get anywhere on the island, so why I was paying $14.95 to Fed Ex the tickets to me when it costs .47 cents postage to get here in one day was absurd. I could get in my car and drive to the ticket office which is 10 minutes away and pick them up for free. But this was the best the seller could do. I told Hector that that was about the most lame discount I had ever heard of. And insisted he do better. My option again. Get a refund and don't go to the concert. So I agreed to the measly discount. At 1:53 p.m. I received my second email with my second invoice number and my second set of seats but the cost was the same: $564.65. NO DISCOUNT. So I called Hector back and asked him about my discount and got his voice mail. When he called me back an hour later, he started double talking about how I shouldn't worry about anything the invoice said that I received, they only send that to me for some other reason and not to worry, I would get the discount. It sounded so fishy at that point that I asked him to please cancel the whole thing. That this started sounding fishy from the beginning and I should have just cancelled it then. He said no. I had missed my one and only opportunity to cancel. Tickets Now and Ticketmaster are obviously in this together. They are buying up all the tickets before the outlets open, so they can sell the best seats at a huge markup. And the customer never has the opportunity to buy these tickets at face value. The only way to get them is to buy them on the secondary market. Now, while I know this is done, always thought scalping tickets was illegal and never imagined that Ticketmaster would be a part of this. In the future, I plan to drive down to the ticket office and buy my tickets there. But I still think that this company, Tickets Now, and their practices need to be exposed. So that is my story. This just happened today. So as of today, Monday, Feb. 2, I don't have any tickets and I don't have any discount. But I am out $564.65. I'm hopeful that there is a class action lawsuit possibility here and urge others to tell their stories so that the lawyers reading this can make the call.

So I went back on the venue's website and was redirected to Ticketmaster and was then redirected to Tickets Now. I saw two orchestra seats for $149. I thought that it was around $75 each. 1/19/09-I purchased two tickets to a Chicago Blackhawks game in April. The web site said tickets for this event are eligible for TicketFast delivery. I did not know what this was, but for $4.95, I thought it was some type of deal they had with the U.S. Postal Service for mailing tickets to customers and getting them to them quickly, such as a discounted rate on Priority Mail, even though putting 5 tickets in a #10 envelope should cost less than a dollar to mail from IL to MD. I didn't Google the term "TicketFast" to see what it was because it had the registered trademark symbol after it, so I figured it was a service only this web site provided. I did click on the drop down menu for "Delivery Methods" on the order page and it showed TicketFast for $4.95, FedEx Standard Delivery for $14.95, and One Day Shipping for $24.95. Since the game isn't until April, I did not need the tickets in a hurry, so I chose TicketFast. Also, on this page, which is a different one than where I selected the tickets, there was no explanation as to what TicketsFast is.
Several days later I received an e-mail advising that my tickets were ready to be printed. I called Ticketsnow.com and complained about being charged $4.95 "Shipping" and then having to print the tickets. The invoice I printed when I ordered the tickets said $4.95 for "Shipping"; not delivery, delivery method, or something that might be construed as something other than they would be (physically) shipped to me. I have never seen the term "shipped" meaning something electronically transmitted to someone. I was denied a refund and the customer service rep. would not credit me for the $4.95 shipping charge, despite my pointing out how deceptive their use of the term is in this case. When I asked to speak with a supervisor, she said that any other customer service rep. or supervisor will tell me the same thing she had just told me. In essence, she refused to allow me to speak with a supervisor. After I got off the phone with her, I went back to the ticketsnow.com web site. I wanted to make sure I had not missed, or misread, something about the $4.95 meaning a link to being able to print the tickets would be e-mailed to me. While randomly moving the cursor around on the web page, it moved over where it said tickets for the event are eligible for TicketFast delivery and a pop up box appeared explaining what TicketFast is. There was NOTHING on the web site to indicate that additional information could be obtained about TicketFast by moving your cursor over the part of the web site. I had checked out ticketsnow.com on the Better Business Bureau (BBB) web site for the Chicago area before I ordered the tickets. They had a listing for them, and the parent company is listed as VIP Tours, Inc. It also said that it was an accredited business since 6/18/1996. This information was in a big blue box, almost right in the middle of the web page. It also said "BBB Rating - No Rating." This, to me, meant that they either had no complaints, or didn't have enough information to rate the company. I know I have previously read this interpretation of what "No Rating" means on other BBB web sites when I have researched companies. Therefore, as soon as I saw this, I did not scroll any further down on the BBB web page. I wish I had because when I did after receiving the e-mail, more than halfway down the page it indicated that they had received 483 complaints about ticketsnow.com in 36 months, and that 197 of these had been closed in the last year. It further indicated that 297 of the complaints had been resolved and 186 were closed administratively. I don't understand how the BBB can say they have no rating of a company with this many complaints. Many of the complaints were about being charged a higher price than the face value of tickets, like many posted here. From having purchased tickets in the past from other brokers, I know that this is standard practice, but sometimes it is also the only way you can get tickets to an event you really want to attend. The BBB web site indicates that they met with ticketsnow.com in October 2008 and advised them of the nature of the complaints filed with the BBB, and one of was allegations of misleading websites. The BBB web site says during this meeting, they were advised that issues involving websites have been addressed and modified.

On Day of ticket sales for the Dead The Dead .net site actually sent me to Ticketsnow.com. Either they hacked the dead site or the dead has lost their elegant nature concerning their fans. Before this I called Ticketmaster and they pretended that Ticketnow, com was just the division that was selling the tickets for this concert not divulging that it is their public resale site. I guess scalping is legal If you have a computer. Look for the laptop scalper at your next event.
After just wanting to get it over with and purchasing $35 tickets for $77 from ticketsnow ( I do not think the purchase went through) I spoke with a friend who reminded me that Live Nation was handling the ticket sales I figured I bought tickets and didn't try live nation. Come on Bobby Phil Mickey and Billy what has your scene turned into, don't we deserve a fair chance to get tickets ?

I purchased 2 adults and 2 child tickets online for the Monster Jam in Anaheim on Jan. 10th, 2009. I thought I was on Ticketmaster, but somehow (when or how) I was then on TicketsNow website. I thought I was purchasing a $33 ticket. Upon arrival at my home, I was sent $10 tickets (all 4) nosebleed seats - charged a $5 fee for each ticket plus the increase in ticket price. This is wrong. I am okay with the $5 service charge but I thought I was getting a $33 seat and the kids are selling for $10 each. They are charging too much, not only the increase in tickets that they did not tell me but the service charge. I thought I was getting lower seating and the increase in charges. There was a $23 increase in seats plus the $5 increase for service charge per ticket.

I purchased BCS championship tickets from TicketsNow at approx. 9-9:30 pm on 12/7/08, as soon as OU won and was heading to the BCS championship. On 12/10/08, we received an invoice stating our tickets will delivered approx. on 1/6/09. I immediately called and voiced a concern that if this date had been made aware to me prior to my purchase, i would have gone with one of the sellers who stated tickets were in hand. At no time was I aware that the vendor, TicketsNow, that is allowed to post their tickets for sale didn't even have their tickets in hand and ready for sale.

The TicketsNow agent called the vendor. The vendor assured the rep that they would have their tickets in hand and ready for shipping in the next two weeks and if they came in earlier, they would ship immediately. So I waited. Two weeks went by; I didn't hear anything. I called TicketsNow again, who in turned called the vendor... The vendor told the rep that I would receive the tickets in the middle of the following week. I asked the rep to call back the vendor again for I didn't believe they had the tickets yet. I'll be darned.

They didn't have the tickets yet. At the end of this call, the vendor guaranteed that they would ship my tickets on 1/2/09. Between the rep and I, we figured since UPS/FedEx were closed on 1/1, they had to have tickets in hand by 12/31. I called 12/31... There were no tickets in hand and they denied speaking with TicketsNow stating I would have my tickets shipped on 1/2/09. So as I continue with this back and forth issue, here it is 4 business days before the game and the vendor still doesn't have the tickets.

So we are expected to board an airplane for Florida with no tickets in hand. I told TicketsNow that they charged my cc for the tickets and it was only supposed to have been done when they secured by tickets. Since the vendor doesn't have the tickets, how did they secure them? I have requested that TicketsNow hook me with a vendor who has their tickets in hand... I am waiting to hear from a manager... it's not corporate for when you call the 815#, it goes right back to the call centers... I have a feeling I will be praying for my tickets to show up. I will let you know what happens next...

I placed an order for WWE tickets on Dec. 4th (event to take place Dec. 28th).
Once speaking with a TicketsNow representative, they confirmed receipt of my order. It was then explained to me that within 48 hrs I would receive an actual order / shipping confirmation via email, which I never received. 72 hrs after placing the order, I followed up a third time via phone with TicketsNow. The agent assured me that he was in contact with the ticket seller and that the order would be shipped the same date and to expect the order / shipping confirmation by email. Again I never received a shipping confirmation. In total, I followed up with TicketsNow with four phone calls over a period of four days in total spending over 2 hrs on hold. I ended up cancelling the order which seemed to be an issue as well. The TicketsNow agent would not automatically cancel the order, explaining that they are under a contractual obligation to first check with the seller whether they can proceed with a cancellation. Eventually the order was indeed cancelled.

I purchased 4 Concerts Tickets on 9/14/08 for a total of $1,983.75 and never received them. I started calling on 11/12 when they should have been delivered. TicketsNow kept telling me I would get them because I had time. The day of the event 12/1, I was told my tickets would be delivered to me at the Garden at Will Call. The tickets I received from a man named Michael, were not what I paid for. I received two sets of tickets that were from two other individuals; the seats were horrible. My original seats were Section 80 Row G Seats 1-4, the seats I got were Side Stage Section 71 Row K Seats 3-4 and Section 71 Row H Seats 3-4. All I could see was the back of the artist's head, no clear view of the stage or the other performers. Since they resold my tickets why didn't they have the decency to just refund my money and tell me that. I dealt with many individuals from 11/12 thru 12/1. Cheryl was the last person I dealt with.

Furthermore, the tickets have a person's name on them. So how can this not be scalping which is illegal in Michigan? Who can this be reported to legally? So that this company does not continue to take advantage in this way? DO NOT PURCHASE FORM TICKETNOW!

I went online to buy Hannah Montana tickets. Their website is very deceiving. I purchased 4 tickets that are face valued at $46 a ticket, thinking I was paying $295. The bill came for $1371. I called immediately to tell them there was a mistake. They told me no mistake, you bought them as is. I called back a second time and said this wasn't the initial price I was quoted. A woman said, "sir, you bought them, that's it." I said I would contact my credit card company and she said go ahead and try and you will lose. She then hung up the phone on me. I called my credit card company and am in dispute.

I have $1371 on my credit card now. I would never have bought these tickets had I known the real price. I'll be in debt for a long time if I don't sell them. I will never deal with ticketsnow again.

Purchased two tickets to the Neil Young concert at the Fabulous Fox in St louis. I paid $208.00 per ticket, when I received the tickets their face value was $99.00. The tickets came as photocopy of a ticket purchased from Metrotix, face value $99.00. I purchased these tickets in September, after more research these same section tickets are still available for $99.00 through Metrotix. Missouri has a law against Scalping sporting event tickets, I did not know they have failed the Missouri Citizen by ALLOWING concert ticket scalping! THIS NEEDS TO BE RE VOTED ON AND PASSED!

No specific business, just all ticket places who buy tickets and then sell them at incredibly higher prices. Example, I paid $178.00 for concert tickets to Bette Midler. These were the highest price offered. I have been to several web sites, only to find that tickets in surrounding seats are being offered for anywhere from $50.00 higher to $100's dollars more. This is true regarding several other concert and event tickets. I tried to get tickets to Bill Cosby thru the venue he is appearing at and was told they were sold out. But I can go to any of these ticket brokers, and pay extremely in flated prices. They purchased tickets I could have had and now they are turning around and selling for a HUGE profit. This is clearly scalping and I dont understand how they can do this legally. Could someone please explain it to me?? Thanks
