When you try to respond to your clients, you receive a message they have discontinued the service. What do I do to get refunded. This makes no sense, I was talking with a young lady and your service discontinued the communication, that she had discontinued your service. Unbelievable dating site!

Your site saying this person is a great prospect for a date in Ohio or New York and many other places very far away from Oregon! To me is stupid!!! I am not wanting to waste my time sorting out men from across the country!!! It is going to be a long frustrating 6 months dealing with this site!!! Very unhappy and I have only been on this site for a week! Hope it isn't all this stupid!

I cancelled and am waiting for a conformation that my account has been removed. Please stop sending me messages from First Met as I am not interested. Why is it so hard to get you to understand and delete my account and my profile from this site.

Actually, I've had fun on this site. I believe if you're open and honest you will get people that want to talk to you or avoid you like the Plague. At least you get like Minded responses. I realize there are Folks on here that are Charlatans but that's to be expected anywhere. I've been with two ladies from your site in person and found them to be Super.. If you're Trying to be Married next week then say so, If you just want a Good Pal to shop, lunch, go to the movies with etc. say so.. Most of it has to do with you and what you really want..

I was not a fan of the site, I was continually seeing the same members I had skipped and wasn't able to view the members that did message (small profile window in messaging). Inadvertently set up an ice breaker which led to about 50+ message responses. Too much to deal with and thread through. Wasn't for me.

I'm wondering why, when I've clearly stated I live on the central coast of CA, I keep getting messages from everywhere except near where I am? TX, NY, MN, MA, IA, AZ, etc?? Also, as I will be turning 70 tomorrow, I'm honestly not interested in getting to know men in their 50's. Surely you can do a better job geographically of "matching" people???

When I reply to messages from members I am asked to pay a second time for a 'trial' membership and cannot access their messages to me. I will cancel the current membership to avoid repeated drafts from my charge card.

You would not do as I asked. I never got on and in 20 minutes I asked for my $19.50 back. You didn't do it, so I did what I said I would do. I went to the Indiana Attorney General's office. I found out you are a FRAUD and a SCAM. I am putting it on the internet and Facebook. You will be hearing from them. You should have give me my money back.

So far my experience on First Met has been a bust. I have set filters with a maximum miles at 25 and seen women that live 50 up to out of the country. I have also set the ages between 55 and 65 receive questions from women in their 70s. On the whole not good so far. I hope things improve.

I don’t want to receive messages that were really not intended for me. The matches are not even close to my requirements. I request a distance radius of 25-50 miles and I get matches all over the U.S. I ask for an age range of 65-75 and get matches from 30 yr old and 80 year old. I ask for men only and I get women matches. Just don’t think it is very user friendly. Wish it was.

Met a few women who had really old pictures and looked nothing like their pictures. Not working for me. I feel that many women are not really presenting a true picture of themself. Just not enough response to my profile. I had to find someone special.

FirstMet has a different approach, nothing wrong with that. But it is too generalized so it is hard to find a connection to someone in agriculture or has an ag background. Nor are there very many if any from my area (state). So I will be canceling. Just wanted to give your site a try. Thank you.

It totally sucks the way it's set up. I like to know where person lives & age before I decide if I'm going to like or skip. EVERYONE should have to have an up to date picture. Broken communication with another party - Was talking with a lady. When I tried to reply to her within 30 seconds of her message it came up she was no longer available. Why? There was no reason given for the interruption, I do not want her to think I rudely did not answer her message.

Some of your Icebreaker questions are stupid. This means the person doesn't have to think. It's a different site than I'm used to. Most of these people from somewhere not close to me have no intention of meeting anybody, so why are they on there? I think some of the questions are made by young people. Like what do you do on your day off? What if you're retired or not working?

Accuracy on who viewed you and connections messages are always wrong. Messages don't delete or update. Connections are not accurate. Matches from states over 500 miles away are picked. Contemplated for months about subscribing. When I finally did I am extremely disappointed.

Found a great guy online and could not send him a message. It kept coming back. Probably a fake picture. Got 12 messages telling me he was my match and liked me but message to Christopher never was sent. Also pictures are too small to see. I’d like to cancel and get my money refunded.

Some pictures were not good, could see not the person, some missing and others were blurry and too dark and then there were some that had no picture. This makes it hard to be able to give that person any chance of even being considered for any interest.

I am not happy with this application site of FirstMet. It only gives me people out of my location range and older guys. I am looking to make friends with younger guys as well and it doesn't allow contact. This the second time I’m expressing the unsatisfactory way my account is being handled. 4 days later 12/28 I’m still being solicited to join & my premium membership doesn’t seem to be recognized by the Mobile app, which is usually how I access my account. I have unfortunately found 2 scammers on here. But since it ain't my first trip to town, I caught on very fast. LOL you can start with the photos that says, "Text me," with the number on the pic. Then when you do text them they send you nude photos of themselves. I don't have a problem with nudity, but the woman should at least look like their profile pic. And when the photos they do send most of them are well known porn stars. Also if you use google chrome if you right mouse the photo you can let google scan for their photo on the net. If they have ever posted that 1 pic on the net anywhere google will find it and give you the name of the woman who posted it. When you confront them and they know they have been busted, they stop talking and delete their first met account.

The several people that favored me or flirted with me and the ones that sent me messages before I subscribed most of them if not all did not respond to my messages after I subscribed. And every time I click to view a profile the system informs me that I sent a flirt to that person (even if I am not interested). Not very happy with the results.

I attempted to cancel my subscription within 24 hours of my purchase, as I thought was required by law. Your filters show that there were only one or 2 people in a 25 mile radius of my zip (about a half million population) and of the 2 or 3 people I attempted to contact, even with the premium trial, I don't even know if they read the message... On my profile I stated matches age much younger than the women you send. Plus I have low miles for match distances not from all over the United States. I also dislike having to skip through profiles from all over the country when I was specific on distance.

Your site too hard to navigate. Always got matches from out of state or too far away. Would not recommend to anyone. it would be to your interest to redesign the site to make it easy to follow. Get people off the street to be on the redesign team. That way you won't wind up with another piece of crap.

I all the sudden am getting post on Facebook from Firstmet. Never looked at it or signed up for it. Looked to see how to get rid of it and says delete app but that's not possible because I don't have the app so there is no way I can get rid of this pain in the ass.

I was not very please with the site. Many of the men are not in my local area. Even though I put in the distance etc. Also profiles were so incomplete on most of the men. Pictures were terrible. I do believe they should be screened before they are put up. Site was very disappointing.

The site is not bad. Plenty of what I was looking for, a few bad apples like any other site, but when it comes to charging $74 and some change for six months, that's all I need to find what I was looking for... One week after signing up I tried to cancel automatic renewal but could not find a way, I tried sending emails, no answer, several times, no options for cancellation was ever given. I tried PayPal. They could not help, so I waited to see if when renewal came up I could stop payment...but when PayPal made payment it was too late. I've been locked out of it and I've been sending FirstMet messages so they can get me back in but I'm not getting any messages from them to let me in. Getting too many women who indicate they are no longer a member and their membership has been deactivated. These same women ask for a text number or email address right before they are deactivated. Why are all these same women asking for a text number? Sounds like some type of scam or a way to get information. How are they becoming members?

The men on here that I have come in contact with are either married, "separated" (separated is still married) or looking for "a good time". Just not my kind of site. I was. I have had way too many scammers contacting me. You need to improve verification of members. Your email alerts are confusing. Just now I got an email that a Lewis had sent me a message. No Lewis when I went on your site. I will not renew unless things improve dramatically. Do not share my contact info or my name with anyone or anybody or anywhere.

I was on here for 3 months, over 100 hits a day. Problem is 1 out of every 50 was even close to what I wanted or liked. Some of the men were just nasty. I finished using the site because many women were fake and scammers were accessing the site. I raised this issue with FirstMet however they declined to respond. They need to have better security measures to stop international scams. I know they were scams because I investigated it on anti scam website.

I attempted on many occasions to cancel my auto renew, weeks before it was due, but was not provided the ability to do so. All of a sudden it renews and when I called I was told there was no way to reverse the charge and there was no one higher than the service rep that I could speak with. It had literally just renewed that day. I am sick and tired of these auto renewals and the company making it impossible to navigate the site to cancel it.

Too many people trying to scam you. You are there with good intentions and the other person is trying to get you to like them so they can get money from you. Need to do better job at checking people out before you let them in.

I found that this FirstMet was a rip off. There were no local contacts to be made or least none in my vicinity. I signed up local people and that sure wasn't the case, needless to say I am pissed off!!! Big waste of my time and money!! There will no further sign ups to this site for sure.

I joined the site initially to try it out and tried to cancel any ongoing charges because I did not want to continue with my membership but was told I was too late by one day. So my card on file was charged for a further 6 months. Just hope I do not get charged again otherwise I will be real cross. The site is really not a good site to be a part of. I only have regrets in not being able to cancel ongoing charges.

You don't screen your applicants very well. When I say that I only want to be connected with ** men, between 65 to 80 years of age, and within a 50 mile radius of where I live, that's what I expect to see. This is not what happens after you pay your money. I can't afford to pay for something which is not going to be of any benefit to me.

My only complaint with this site is so many fake profiles. You don't know who is real and who is a bot until they sent you a message saying please send me your email address and then the account is deleted 5 minutes after. I'm not a fan of that. That why I will never pay for this site no matter what perks you add.
