My daughter sent me a package, Priority Overnight, tracking # **, from Charleston S.C. on Friday July 30,2010 to be delivered Monday, August 02, 2010. When she called me to see if I had received the package Monday night, I had not! It was very important that I receive it. It contained my key with the electronic door opener for my vehicle, the only set I have. She called FedEx and was told that they delivered the package at 9:30 A.M. Monday morning and it was received by the recipient. That was not true! I had waited all day for the package, did not even vacuum for fear I would not hear them. My daughter continued to call to try and locate the package and then was told it was left by the mailbox, which is a half mile to a mile away! Left on a street well traveled at a group of about 6 (six) mailboxes at the end of my driveway. My driveway is a dirt road that the driver didn't want to drive on. We drive in and out of it each day.

The next day I walked to where the driver said he left the package. It was cloudy and raining and I slipped and fell and was not able to get up for a while. My driveway is a private drive with no other houses on it. I am 66 (sixty six) years old and a portion of my heart enlarged, also with other health problems. Not able to go that distance to get a package FedEx so carelessly left unattended. I will never use FedEx! It is not a company you can count on or trust to do the job they get paid to do. I was without keys to the only vehicle I had at my residence. I was stranded! Also walking the half mile - one mile to get the package I fell and had to lay in the dirt and rain until I could get back on my feet to make my way back to my house. It is uncomfortable to move. I'm thankful I was able to make it back home.

While traveling southbound on Illinois Tollway 294 (9:00 pm, 7/30/10), a FedEx ground truck tried to run me off the road. The truck was following me so closely that I could not see the front grill of the truck or the headlights. I tried to speed up to get away from him, but even at 70 mph, he stayed so close on my tail that I was sure he was touching my bumper! The lanes on either side of me were wide open, but he refused to go around me. As soon as I was able to speed up enough to get away from him and change lanes, he pulled up next to me swerving in and out of my lane and then flipped me off and was apparently yelling at me inside his truck. He then proceeded to do the same thing to several other drivers.

His license plate no was (IN) **, truck no. **, cab no. **. I called the police but never saw anyone stop him. I called FedEx and reported him and the operator told me that they don't take complaints about drivers. I went to their website and they don't take complaints either! Although we escaped injury we came very close to a very serious accident. The driver was obviously impaired and had no regard for the safety of those around him. No package is worth the life of another human being.

I called this morning at 8:40 AM to request that I pick up this package. CSR stated that truck was already loaded and they would make a redelivery to my home. Since they could not guaranty me the exact time, they said they would call the driver and took my phone number so they could call me. Then, I would have a window of approximate time for delivery so I could be sure to be home.

I went to the post office at 11:00AM and when I returned, there was another notice of attempted delivery at 11:52AM. I missed the delivery person because they did not do what they told me they would do. Now they are offering to deliver at 3pm and I have wasted my whole day for a delivery. This is not unacceptable. My time is more valuable than sitting and waiting for FedEx and them not following through. We own a small business in Dallas and sure don't conduct business in this manner.

My wife brought an accordion and went to Fed EX for packaging the day before to get an estimate for the price based on weight and approximate sans box size. It was about $30. When My wife brought the accordion in for packaging, they put it in the bottom of the largest box they had then filled it with paper for a total cost of $90 and change! What they did was to inflate the cost by irresponsibly packaging into a container that would cost more money based on size. The issue I have with this is that their website specifically states that they would customize their packaging for odd shaped packages. It is Fed Ex package ****.

I called the main office to complain, they sent me directly to the store. I contacted them by phone and followed up with a 9 page document fully explaining the issue and photos of their packaging. Chandra said they would respond immediately. I followed up by email several times over the next three weeks but they never responded. So, I'm going to complain about their packaging business model online as well as their lack of customer response. If anyone is interested in seeing the full 9 pages outlining my complaint, email me. They overcharged me by about $50 and apparently they don’t care enough about customer service to even respond to complaints in writing or over the phone. My recommendation is to don't let these guys pack anything for you. They will pack it so that it costs twice as much!

The FedEx driver delivered my package to someone, who as far as I am concerned does not exist, and insists that the package was delivered to the correct address when in fact it wasn't. No one was at the address when the driver delivered the package. My cell number was available and no one called me, apparently their tracing department is unable to have the driver come by my address and show me who the person is who signed for the package. There was no urgency to deal with my problem and the attitude was, "Well, the driver said he delivered it to the correct address".

Having the recipient say the package wasn't received is apparently not enough reason to question the driver more closely. I lost time, lost productivity. The package cost money-- a value of $999.99, and now I have to wait for the claims process to be completed by the shipper.

I bought some very expensive speakers, Atlantic Technology 8200 series, and had them shipped by FedEx from California to Texas. I had them insured for $6000, not enough for replacement but close, and FedEx damaged every speaker when they arrived. I called the FedEx office, explained what happened, and they stated they had to have the speakers picked up to be examined.

FedEx picked them up the next day, and first sent a letter explaining they saw no damage. I then sent pictures to them showing the damage, and asked where my speakers were. FedEx sent the speakers back to the person I bought them from, and have since not been able to get them back. FedEx reps have since told me I would have to make the person turn them over to them, and until I made this person comply, they were going to deny the claim. The sender used my FedEx account, and insured it with my money. The fact FedEx had stalled on this dilemma, and refused to act appropriately, I have no choice but to complain to every consumer group, and then take them to civil court to try to get relief on this.

The FedEx driver destroyed a section of our fence in September 2008. On April 13 2009, a laptop was shipped out of Rockville, MD. It was an NMDS, National Medical Disaster laptop. My son had sent it when he worked in the flooding in Fargo, ND. The driver became frustrated because he wanted to squeeze his truck through our double gate. He stepped out and shoved a gate back with such force that it bent the hinges. I witnessed this. He still had to walk up the driveway. He left the package without waiting for the required signature and noted that the release was authorized. The agent in Atlanta customer service refused to do anything. They did give me the name of the driver and I found him to live close by.

This is a company that has drivers subcontracted so they can escape any liability and they have collusion within their ranks protecting their criminal employees. You cannot even find an address of anyone higher than their inept employees to complain to. Someone called me a few days after my complaint and asked if my account was personal or business. When I told them that it is personal, they hung up. UPS has such a superior record with me and is operated so very well. I only use Big Brown now. Even Zappos knows the best shipper. The people that care about customer care. They destroyed the fence and double gate. There isn't even a complaint category for mine. It is just absolutely unbelievable. I build G Scale (1/24) model train bridges of aluminum and steel. I had sold a bridge to a gentleman in Wisconsin for around $162.00 which I also listed as the declared value. The bridge which was 6 feet long and disassembled for shipping at 4" thick of aluminum, cardboard and padding arrived bent in half and every piece of aluminum was broken in half! The box was also in shambles. The box was clearly marked "Fragile" and "Do Not Bend" which was obviously ignored. My customer called his local FedEx who arranged for pickup and inspection of the package about 6-8-2010.

The package (bridge) was then shipped back to me. I went to my local FedEx office where I dropped off my packages to file a claim. The lady behind the counter said that she couldn't help me because that was an Express location but gave me a 1-800 number. I called the number and the lady emailed me my claim form which had the wrong declared value listed--$1.62! Infuriated, I called the number back and spoke to Joseph who said it was a typo and that he could clearly see that the declared value was $162.00. I was told to just scratch it out and put the correct amount above it. I did so and mailed the claim form with a copy of my customer's receipt to Pittsburgh about 6-16-2010.

This morning, I checked my website's email and my customer informs me that he received a letter from FedEx stating that they denied the claim because "the item was not packaged properly for safe shipment." It's a metal bridge--boxed, padded and clearly marked! I printed off the email and immediately called the claims department again and spoke to Joyce, who informed me that only the shipper can file a claim. What? I spent 15 minutes on hold while she tried to get the claim history using the tracking number. She came back on telling me that she couldn't get through to that department but left a message to call me on my cell phone.

Very simply, I have used FedEx for 15+ years and my company has shipped thousands of packages flawlessly! My errors were sending, no signature required and forgetting to add apartment "H" for a recent package I shipped to, let’s call it 1018 E Whatever Street. You guessed it, FedEx. The driver delivered to 1018 E Whatever Street and decided to drop at apartment "E" even though no apartment was listed on the air bill! What is lost is my personnel check and unregistered gift cards. Everybody denies everything at Apt E, and FedEx blames me and gives me and the recipient the run-around. $35 to cancel my check and lost gift cards later, I get the invoice from FedEx for my priority delivery and all FedEx can say is, "It’s not FedEx’s fault, we delivered to the address you wrote, sir." But I never wrote Apartment "E" for better or for worse, I will switch to UPS based on principle!

I won a statue on eBay and paid $848.40 on April 13. On April 20, we received a FedEx door tag that said that we weren't home and they would try again tomorrow. I called to explain that we work until 5 pm. The rep said that since it was FedEx Ground, we couldn't schedule a delivery time but we could have the package re-routed. I agreed and gave them my work address. After typing all of that into the ticket, the rep paused and then simply said that my address wouldn't work since my name wasn't the one on the package. My husband was the listed recipient. I asked if I could provide my driver's license to verify the same address but she said no. I had to call back with my husband's work address.

The next day, April 21, we had another door tag on our house. I called and asked why the package wasn't re-routed to my husband and they said that a signature-required package couldn't be re-routed at all. I asked why I had spent 45 minutes on the phone the day before if it wasn't possible. I was then placed on hold. When the guy finally came back, he apologized that I was misinformed and said they'd stick to their word and re-route the package to my husband. My husband received the statue the next day, April 22, and dropped it off at his parent's house on his way home. When his parents opened it, the statue was missing part of its head and hand. They were shattered. I emailed the eBay seller and received the FedEx claim #852410010059410 and was told to call to schedule pickup.

I called FedEx on April 26 to have the package picked up. The guy on the other end of the phone walked me through all the info they needed including my in-law's address and then asked me how we were going to pay for the pickup! I asked why we'd need to pay since the package was insured and they told the seller that they'd pick it up. He responded that all pickups required payment. I asked what our free option would be and he gave me an address close to my in-law's home.

On April 27, my in-laws took the package to the address we were given and were told that the FedEx office could not take a FedEx Ground package. My mother in-law asked why the rep gave us this address and she responded that she didn't know. She then pointed to a phone on the wall and told my MIL to call and ask. After talking to another guy, my MIL was told that the package would have been picked up for free and asked why we didn't do that. She told them what I was told and they apologized and arranged a pick up time. The package was finally picked up on April 28. eBay refunded my $848.40 on May 18 after the seller refused for several weeks. He wanted to wait for his FedEx reimbursement.

To summarize, I ordered this statue on April 13 and didn't receive my refund until May 18. I spent at least two hours on the phone with FedEx and my mother in-law spent at least 20 minutes. FedEx reps "misinformed" me about package re-routing policy, the package pickup policy and even the address for the location they wanted us to go to instead.

Although a customer, using a drop box, enters a credit card number on the air bill, FedEx will not charge the credit card, instead sends the customer an invoice with an additional $10 'non-account billing charge". The customer service person informed that their credit card machine does not read credit card numbers well. They refused to reverse the extra charge. This has not happened once or twice, but it happens all the time. This is routine. FedEx wrongfully nets an extra $10 per package dropped in their drop box with a credit card number. If they cannot process credit card numbers, they should not ostensibly offer that service only to take an extra $10 from an unsuspecting customer.

This is the short version. There were lots of telephone conversations, the contents of which leads me to believe that my action of reporting a non-delivery, was unacceptable. A package was reported to have been delivered, but it was not. As luck would have it, at the time of the alleged delivery, I was at home. I tracked the package later that day, wondering it's status. At that time, I realized it had been claimed to be delivered. I immediately reported that it was not to FedEx. I received a call the next day, asking if I found the package, and then heard nothing further. The next week, I called FedEx and was told the driver said it was delivered: Case Closed. Details of the alleged delivery changed. The local supervisor determined I was lying. Unfortunately, I could not stop orders made also to be delivered FedEx after the fact. As a result, I had to stay home from work to constantly track and wait. I am supposed to trust that the driver, who did not leave a package, and who subsequently changed the delivery story, will in fact leave a package while at the same time, FedEx says that it can not trust that without a signature, on packages that don't require a signature, that I will acknowledge receipt. Golly, if they didn't have a problem not delivering when I was here, I don't see the problem in actually delivering when I am not here! They did it for years!

There is apparently a single driver in my area. And she is not pleased: Last Friday, there was a delivery. The truck was seen in the immediate vicinity (we are rural, there is only 1 truck out here) early in the day. If she had delivered then, I could have gone back to work. Instead, she left, then came back late in the day for the delivery. Maybe hoping I would leave? The vendor whose package was lost was supposed to re-ship using USPS. Instead they shipped FedEx again. FedEx was apparently here today, but would not leave the package.

We have received countless FedEx in the past and have never had a problem. When a problem did occur, rather than solve it, FedEx instead is going out of its way to make sure I understand that to report a problem is unacceptable. This is the short version here. More detail, including changing delivery notes, etc. can be provided if it will help other victims. I am self employed. On the day I knew delivery might be made (it had already been held up by the driver once), I went to work at 2.30 a.m. to be home by 8.30. I did not finish all of my jobs. If she had delivered when she was here earlier in the day, I would not have had to work Sunday to catch up!

I live in a block of flats with a security exterior door - very common for central London. If the delivery person cannot get to your postbox, they will try two very unreliable methods to leave you the card:

    a) Push it under the outside door and hope that you will find it before someone moves it,

    b) Push it under the number plate of your flat, outside the building at the mercy of anyone walking past the flat, or the wind (!).

You parcel will then be returned to the sender as you don't know it has arrived. Oh, they'll also crush items and damage them. Rubbish service. I am really angry. Crushed Nespresso capsules that won't fit into the machine!

In February, I purchased a Ramsa mixer off eBay. It was shipped in a heavy duty case with foam packaging on all sides, and marked topside and fragile. Pictures were taken prior to handing it over to FedEx showing now damage. When it arrived, two corners were shattered and the steel arm rest bent. It had obviously been dropped on edge from many feet in the air.

It took FedEx a month to get an inspector to look at it. They denied the claim. I appealed and it was sent "upstairs". Only after I contacted the BBB did I find out from the BBB that "upstairs" had again denied the claim. FedEx will not release the damage report and will not give any information out on who has denied the claim. Lesson learned. Don't use FedEx.

I called FedEx after missing their second attempted delivery to schedule a pick up time last Friday. Knowing that now they would deliver on Saturday, I changed my mind quickly and the customer representative felt annoyed yet lied to me that she cancelled the pick up and would get the last attempt of delivery the day after. Alright, the package did not deliver on Saturday and I thought they did not really make any delivery on Saturday so I waited over the weekend patiently. Not until the coming Monday (today), I tracked my package online and the package is on hold at a local office! How dishonest of their customer representative.

I had to call once again and another representative said that I had called to cancel the last delivery service and would pick up by myself. I asked her to check the complete record then. Though she found out it was their mistake, she kind of said that I had cancelled the order at first so what has happened is I deserved. I was so disappointed at how they bent the truth.

From my past experiences, if I ever decided to pick up the package by yourself, I got to leave a phone number for them to call back regarding the available pick up time. Now, the package has been scheduled for pick-up with me not knowing about anything it. I remembered that last Friday I asked the customer representative five times to make sure that she put back my package to a normal scheduled delivery status and she guaranteed that it was back to normal.

FedEx is an epic fail. This package is sent via ground service and had taken over six days to make the first attempt of delivery. UPS would have made the first one on the third if not the fourth day. If I got to choose, I will not send anything via FedEx; I will simply go to UPS because of their credibility and reputation that FedEx does not have. I am hoping that I won't have to call FedEx tomorrow.

This is a very important package and must be recovered immediately.

The contents of the package was a certified check which must be returned to the bank of origin. The bank representative has told me that to place a stop payment on the check will take 90 days, which will cause great financial hardship.

We started looking in the neighborhood and found it at house number 400; ours is 404. We still have not received a response from our complaint. About a month ago, we were getting a convection oven delivered by FedEx and it was on the truck to be delivered again. We were tracking the package, it rode on the truck all day and then was returned to the FedEx facility at the end of the day, to be delivered the next day. There was no satisfactory response from that complaint either.

Then in the afternoon around 5pm, I checked online again, it said 4:41 PM, "Customer not available or business closed". I was at home for the whole day. Plus, that package didn't require signature at all!

I called FedEx right away and when I finally spoke to a real person, I was told that the station was closed and they couldn't do anything and had no explanation. They could only try to get it re-delivered on Tuesday, 4/6/2010, which is three days later and they still cannot guarantee the delivery. Didn't we pay to get the package delivered? What I got is "maybe","we'll try" and "we cannot guarantee". The next day I started to track online and noticed no movement of the package.

I heard a vehicle coming up the road, looked out the window and watched the delivery driver drove up my road, turned around in the circle and drove right past me, no stopping.

I called customer service concerned that this may have been the driver with my package. The agent said not to worry, it should arrive shortly. I checked the tracking online multiple times and ended up seeing the driver said I was not home. So I called back. The customer service agent was polite and did everything she could. She ended up transferring me to the local office where I spoke with another woman who said she knows the driver and he is not that kind of a person. So I guess that makes me a liar. Apparently, the driver called in saying that he stopped and has a door tag number and cannot come back. A door tag number says nothing about the driver's activity, only that he scanned a piece of paper. So, basically, I paid FedEx to deliver a package to me, I lost an entire day's pay, approximately $150, (and wasted hours watching for him) and ended up just being frustrated and upset.

When I arrived home from work at 5:30, I checked the tracking status and FedEx claims to have delivered the package at 11:48AM. I was home for lunch at noon and there was no package at my house or any notification on my front door. I called the FedEx 800 number and spoke to a rep explaining the situation. The same next door neighbor was also working outside his house all day and only saw one FedEx truck, the lamp shade delivery.

There was no 100lbs box sitting outside my front door or anywhere on the premises of my property. He said they would need to contact the driver and have him retrace his route as to where he left the package. I got a call back about 1 hour later. Can anyone else for that matter without a dolly? I was told that I would receive an update this morning. I had to call at 10:00AM as there was no call. I was told by this rep to be patient, they were working on it and there were no new updates. It would be Monday at the earliest before I would receive any communication. He also added that if I had not heard from FedEx in 5 days, I should file a claim!

My conclusion on this situation is that the package was delivered to the wrong address. I checked the order confirmation I received from Amazon.com and the address is correct. We inquired on how the package will be released and FedEx Alaska required me certain forms. I have not filled out, nor signed here. These forms were supposedly supplied to me by the FedEx Tagaytay, when I made a contract with them to ship my goods. However, the same was not provided, nor was I informed the need to fill out the same.

So, FedEx Alaska asked me to write them a request to release the package, and send it back to the Philippines. I did not. This letter will imply that I have waived whatever liability FedEx has. I contacted the call center of FedEx, and called them everyday, sometimes more than once a day. I incurred telephone expenses, and have not focused on my work. All they can offer is "sorry for the inconvenience" excuse. By the last week of December, I was extremely worried that my package has not yet returned to me. I kept calling the call center. They informed me that the package was already returned to FedEx Tagaytay, and at the disposal of one Solano. I inquired about it, but I was unsuccessful, and still they have not returned the package to me. I even sent messages to one Solano, who is manning the FedEx Tagaytay branch, but to no avail.

It was December 30, 2009, when an officer of the "barangay" went to our house, with the mother of one Solano, bringing the package to my house. To my horror, it was the first time I faced with authorities. Why did it have to happen? Am I a criminal, and this mother of Solano needed escort from this official? Was this to scare me? I did not sign any receipt, because to me, FedEx did not only made a breach of contract, but rather committed a crime of negligence, and in our law, swindling is punishable. FedEx cannot explain to me what and why this happened. I have consulted and hired the services of lawyer to protect my rights. I feel violated, not only my property, but as a person. I deserve more than an explanation. FedEx has to pay for this. The photos and negatives have sentimental value to me and my sister. They made a breach of contract, and cause great irreparable damage to us.

The consequences include the photos/ negatives, which were supposed to be used in a presentation for November 10 (in a birthday party) that were not delivered, also, the cost of shipment, long distance and mobile calls to the call center of FedEx. Not to mention the time I spent for updating and following up, my blood pressure and stress level went up, and almost had a seizure from my epilepsy, and the cost of lawyer's fees.,

I sent my computer to a friend to do some repairs and we used FedEx ground. The trip there was uneventful. The return trip however has been ridiculous. It shipped early Monday, Jan. 11th and was to arrive Tuesday, Jan. 12th. According to the FedEx tracker, it arrived in the Burlington, WA hub (which is 1/2 hour away from where I live) at 6:39AM and supposedly went out for delivery at 9:25 on Tuesday Jan. 12th. It never arrived and I continually checked the tracker until about 11:30PM to see if there was any info, but found none. The next morning when I checked, somebody had made a note that at 8:27AM on Monday the 12th, "Customer not available or Business Closed" delivery exception. Three things wrong with that: I was home all day, the time noted was almost an hour before the package was put on the delivery truck and the package did not require a signature to be delivered.

I called 1-800 GO FED EX three times over the course of the day. The first two times, they assured me it would arrive today (now Wed Jan. 13th). Well, 7:30PM rolled around and still, no computer. So when I called the third time, the person told me we need to do a trace on it because there were no notes made for that day that it was on the truck and so it may be lost. He also told me that when notes are posted, sometimes it may take 11 hours for them to update and show on the tracker. Now, it's after midnight. It's Jan. 14th and I checked the tracker once again. There is a note posted as Jan. 13th, 9:40PM for delivery exception saying "Unable to locate address-street number". What a joke. I live on a dead end street that has a whopping total of 5 houses. My house sits close to the street, I have numbers on my house and numbers on my mailbox which is right in front of the house.

On the same day, this delivery was due to arrive (Jan. 12th) we received a package from UPS without incident. Over the Christmas holidays, we received numerous packages without incidence from UPS and USPS. Over the past couple years, I've received many, many packages without incidence. I even had a note on my front door all day today telling the driver I was here and where to leave the package. It's all very fishy and doesn't add up, I don't know what's going on but none of the tracker info is truthful. The notes they're making are completely bogus and this is the last time I will ever use FedEx. My fears revolve around what kind of condition my computer will arrive in.

On Jan. 11, 2010, I shipped a package priority overnight from Spokane, WA to Carson City, NV and advised the receiver of the shipment. At 15:30 on the 12th of January, I was contacted by the receiver that the package had not yet been received. Tracking the package, I found that the package had been sent to the hub in Memphis, TN. I see no way that the package would ever arrive the next day due to circuitous route FedEx chose to send my package. It was a time-sensitive package which contained important documents which still at this time have not reached their destination. All this and a hefty rate to achieve a delivery time comparable to a USPS delivery. Time will tell if their claims office lives up to their promise to pledge of making restitution for not honoring their delivery promises.

I was expecting a package delivery by FedEx that never made it to my home. I received only one final door tag notifying me that the delivery guy came and didn't find me. I am pretty sure that the delivery guy never came for the two past delivery attempts. I never found those door tags. More frustrating is when I checked online that FedEx will attempt that final delivery. I left my work early to make sure I get the package. I was at home between 3:30 pm and 7 pm and never heard any door bell ringing at any moment. Not even a knock on the door. When I left home in the evening I found the famous door tag stating that they came at 3:48pm. I was at home waiting for it at that time.

Finally, I had to drive 25 miles to pick up the package myself. I did that on my personal time, loosing 1 hour and 30 minutes of my week-end driving instead of enjoying the company of my family. How on earth FedEx ground come to Boston (where I live), don't deliver the package (for some reason), and still end-up storing it 25 miles away from my residence? I am sure it makes some great economical sense for FedEx to do that, but this is absolutely ridiculous from a customer point of view. They own hundreds of FedEx centers closer to my home but they still make me drive 50 mile on a week end. I lost time that I could have spent with my family on a week end. Driving for 1 hour and 30 minutes in a snowy weather is never a pleasant moment.

I went to the TracFone site online, ordered two promotional TracFones, one for me and one for my daughter. I had TracFone deduct the cost of one of the phones from my bank account, and the cost of the other phone from my daughter's bank account. I have the order numbers, tracking numbers from TracFone and their carrier FedEx, for the orders that were placed in October and shipped out on Oct. 16, 2009. I was following the tracking and since I was off from work sick, I was available at my apartment to sign for the phones. However, the phones were shipped but were not delivered to me. I did not authorize FedEx to leave my order with anyone else and did not give them permission to let anyone else sign for the phones. We are new to the area and do not know our neighbors. The phones were delivered to the wrong apartment, signed by someone that I do not know.

The TracFone people said it was FedEx's responsibility. FedEx said that they talked to their driver and he said that he remembered distinctly leaving the phones with a tall, light-skinned black woman who signed for the phones. Her name and signature are on the FedEx sign/box. I do not know this person. The apartment manager said that the apartment that it was apparently delivered to, one of the residents is an older man in a wheel chair.

Again, I do not know these people. After much hassling with calls and being transferred to many different people at FedEx and TracFone, and many days of dealing with this and being put on hold, promises of being call back, and no follow through, FedEx said that they sent a refund for the phones to TracFone and that they would have to issue me the refund, the approximately $87+ that they deducted from our bank accounts.

When I contacted TracFone again, same big run-around with no resolve, even contacting corporate that promised follow-up. I have not, as of yet, heard anything back from them, and all of this has been going on now for three months now. I am still out $87+, do not have the two phones I ordered from TracFone. I was told by TracFone that because they have a record that the phones were delivered and received, and activated, that they probably wouldn't issue a refund (that was in the beginning), at that time they deactivated the phones. But since then, the people that stole (signed for the phones) have reactivated the phones and they are actively being used. I even called the local police telling them about someone receiving our property and claiming it as their own. The police declined to get involved. TracFone led me to believe that this would be taken care of, but it has been three months.

I really don't think they plan on doing anything about it, or it would have been taken care of by now. We actually have two other TracFones with a different area code. We wanted these new phones for the new area code we are living in. So, unfortunately, both TracFone and FedEx failed us. So buyers, beware, when ordering online. If you are contemplating ordering from TracFone and items that may be delivered by FedEx, stress to them that you don't want anyone else signing for your ordered merchandise, or you may be out money, and merchandise, with no one to help you to resolve your problems.

I moved one house over in September 2008 and changed my address with all businesses at that time because I worked from home and receive packages all the time. Since that time, I have received several packages always delivered to my correct address until recently. On December 21, 2009, my friend in Massachusetts shipped a laptop computer to me for Christmas because I am also an online student. The address he gave the shipper was my correct address, but the label that the shipper printed was incorrect. My friend informed him that my address was incorrect. The shipper told him just to scribble it out on the waybill, make the correction and it will get to the right place.

I was given the tracking number to monitor the shipment and watched for the package. During that time, I also received several UPS packages that were delivered on time. On December 26, since I had not received the package yet, I checked the tracking number and it indicated that the package had been delivered (on December 24) and was placed on the porch in front of the door. I did not realize that my friend had not requested a signature on the package, but we had shipped and received several packages between us with no issues. The package did not arrive at my house and I contacted FedEx customer support to inquire. They placed an inquiry for a driver follow-up and informed me that the package was delivered to my old address, which is an empty house! She also said that if no one called me back by Tuesday, they would proceed with a claim.

Bear in mind that I receive, on average, 4-6 FedEx packages a month at my correct address so there is no reason this package should have been delivered to the old address. On the 25th, I received a call from Bob at FedEx to confirm that I had requested a driver follow-up and gave me details on the circumstances. He was very rude and acted as if I was at fault for the package missing because my address was incorrect. I told him that I had changed my address with FedEx long ago and receive packages all the time at my correct address. He then proceeded to tell me that it is highly unlikely that I will receive the package because the sender did not request a signature.

I told him I was aware of the lack of a signature requirement, however, I have still received a lot of packages at the correct address with no signature requirement and never had a problem. He said he was delivering according to the address on the package and it was the wrong address (liar). I know it was correct because my friend scribbled out the wrong one and wrote the correct address on the package! Instead of looking on the package, he looked at the manifest that is printed out for each driver prior to deliveries being made and went strictly by that. I have to wonder how many other wrong addresses they have delivered to since they obviously can't read package labels.

His response was that FedEx is not liable for misdelivery of packages and there is nothing they can do about this. I was livid with this guy's attitude and the manner in which he spoke to me. I contacted my friend to let him know what Bob said. He said he would check with the shipper he used to ship the package and see what he could do from his end. There were no packages on the doorstep of the empty house when I checked and it's clear that the package was gone. The following morning I again called customer support to see if any further progress had been made on the investigation. The lady told me that the case had been closed! I then filed another claim for a misdelivered package to generate some type of attention since I was getting nowhere with the driver or the guy who called me. He was not the actual driver, but made me think he was.

This morning I received another call from the "driver," but it was a different person from whom I had spoken to before. He said that the package is gone and that they cannot change my address in their system, and that it has to be done at the shipper's end. My friend checked with the shipper and he was told they cannot change the address in the system either. Needless to say, the guy I talked to this morning was a bit more pleasant, but no more helpful than the other one. Still I was told there is nothing that can be done since the package has been delivered and is not located there anymore, but that I should just have my friend send a replacement.

Now I don't know about most of the people in this economy, but not everyone can afford to go out and buy a replacement laptop for one that was lost by FedEx! In this city, there have been a number of fraudulent practices by mail carriers and delivery people so, of course, I have a sneaking suspicion that the package was not even placed on the porch at the empty house because it was so obvious that no one lived there. Perhaps I'm wrong to judge, but the way this was handled seemed incredibly suspicious. I am not going to rule out the possibility of shipment fraud because this is a well-known business.

Anyway, I have since contacted another representative (who was very nice by the way) to verify that my address is correct in their system and it was. I don't understand how the package could have been delivered to the wrong address then. I have concluded that the laptop is gone and that FedEx will not honor any claims that are made, but you can bet that my friend will pursue it to the top if necessary because he has "people." My message to others is do not use FedEx for shipping. They are dishonest, rude and their business ethics suck! They don't care about customers or the losses that are experienced as a result of their carelessness. Meeting their delivery quota each day is what their goal is because that is what determines their pay. The almighty dollar rules again!

I live in Niagara and it's 3 days before Christmas. My daughter will not have her presents to open up for Christmas. The parcel tracking number is **.

I repeatedly advised FedEx that I do not know, nor did I authorize this individual or another designee to sign for the shipment.

I am a hardworking, honest, law-abiding citizen who was victimized by a dishonest person who signed for the shipment, seemingly without any questions from the FedEx courier who was at the wrong delivery address. On 3/12/09, I shipped a package from an approved FedEx shipper in Nampa, Idaho on 12th Ave. I actually took the package in twice for pricing. I received the following prices for the first quotes. To ship the small parcel to Belgium, I was quoted: $41.83 by 1st Class International Parcel; $63.93 by Priority International Parcel; $71.67 by Fed Ex with normal delivery; $76.32 by Fed Ex Priority; $92.79 by UPS Express; $94.87 by UPS Priority. These quotes were obtained by the shipper a few days before the actual shipping occurred.

On the day of shipping, the box was re-weighed and measured and I was quoted $65.67 by the clerk. Since I had a FedEx account, she suggested just using my own account for billing. I was told it might be a little less because I had an account with FedEx. Note, the cost quoted is written on the enclosed Waybill.

The bill from FedEx came in March and was for $131.04. Obviously, I was unhappy. This was not the rate I was quoted twice and it would have been far less expensive to ship by any other source. I contacted FedEx and attempted to explain what had occurred. I offered to pay the $65.67 I was quoted, but there was no response until I got a collection letter from NCO. I will pay $65.67 as quoted, no more and I want this removed from collection status on my credit report.

I will never do business with FedEx again. I will send this letter to all the credit reporting agencies for their files. FedEx has a great way of fostering customer relationships.

I followed the instructions to the letter, signed the tag where the driver left a hand written note to "please sign here" and returned the tag to the door. The next morning, I saw the FedEx truck drive past my house but did not stop to deliver my package. The door tag was still on my door. I called Customer Service and they informed me my package was left at my neighbor's house! I do not know my neighbors, but proceeded to walk down and across the street within 3 minutes of delivery. I knocked, rang the bell, but they refused to answer the door. The FedEx package was picked up by the FedEx representative on September 20, 2009 and was lost by the FedEx service in the Paris (France) airport on October 1, 2009. To begin with, FedEx never informed me about the loss of the package. When I discovered that the package was never delivered, I contacted the FedEx service - and this is when the nightmare started. The FedEx representatives were rude and misleading, always lying to me about the case's status. Several times I was told that I do not have to do anything since they have their regular procedure of dealing with similar cases. I was told that the complaint was filed on my behalf and that the Claims Department will be in touch with me due in time. However, since nobody called me, few weeks later I made an attempt to communicate with the mentioned Claims Department. To my surprise, I found that the FedEx representatives were not willing to connect me with the Claims Department. Even when placing a phone call through an automatic service and asking for the Claims Department, my call was always going somewhere else but not to the Claims Department. Whenever calling FedEx, I was always connected to a representative who was then passing my call to another person and so on and so forth, endlessly. I was often placed on hold with the longest waiting time of 25 minutes. Each time I was connected to the next FedEx representative, I was asked to repeat what exactly was in the lost package. Each time the FedEx representative was telling me that s/he has no record of the package's content, although I was specifying it during each of my phone calls to FedEx. Finally, after many days of torture and humiliation, one of FedEx employees told me that my complaint was never filed "on my behalf" and therefore nothing was transferred to the Claims Department. I personally filled out the complaint form (Claim No 33387919) and submitted it by Fax to the FedEx office. At the same time, I filed my complaint with the Better Business Bureau. The BBB received several bureaucratic and formal letters from the FedEx representative. Later, I received a check for $100 from FedEx. I did not accept this check. It was sent back to Madame Sheila Flatt. I consider this pathetic check for $100 as yet another insult coming from the monster-business. Better Business Bureau failed to assist me with my effort to receive complete compensation from FedEx.

While Verizon clearly understands that I did not keep broken equiptment, they will not credit me without the merchandise. I am in this situtation because I did not write down a tracking number which was just a number over a barcode, who knew. Today I received a check from FedEx covering all damages and the total shipping cost. I am confident that the key to this successful damage claim (after the claim was initially denied for "inadequate packing") is: 1. having photographs of the package documenting its condition as it was delivered to the customer (for future shipments, I'll also take photos before shipping) 2. having receipts for the (new) packing materials that I used, thus avoiding the accusation of having packed with a "used" box 3. consistently pointing out the specific factual errors in FedEx's original claim rejection letter (these all had to do with the condition of the package on delivery) 4. being polite, factual, and firm.

I was supposed to receive a FedEx Express package by 10:30am today. It's 1pm and I am still waiting for this package. I don't live in a building with a doorman and the package contains personal confidential information that I need to receive myself.
Their customer website states the following..."Our Tracking page provides timely package status information, but we cannot predict the exact delivery time for a particular package along our courier's route. However, you can expect it to arrive by the scheduled delivery commitment for the service chosen." Obviously this is false as my package is 2 1/2 hour behind. I called their customer service department at 11am and was informed that they'll look into this ASAP. However, they couldn't get in touch with the driver to find out an estimated delivery time for me. She's put out an urgent request and that a trace agent will be in touch. When it was 12:30pm, no one has called me. I have no updated information and my boss is wondering when I'm coming into the office. So, I tried their online customer chat and the representative promised me that they're "doing everything they can" to make sure that I get the package ASAP. However, she couldn't get a hold of the driver either. All in all, where is the driver? Can't FedEx keep track of the status on all their deliveries? Why do they have a customer service department if it's pretty much useless?

I bundled my item in up to 5 inches on all sides with bubble wrap, extra cardboard, and packing peanuts. I put fragile labels on all sides of the external box, and sealed it with both plastic tape and strapping tape on all axis. My amplifier was double-boxed (amplifier size = 8x17x21 inches @105#, inner box size 12x19x25 inches, outer box size 18x30x30 inches)
I shipped FedEx ground. Despite my packing, FedEx managed to drop the package hard enough to drive the front knobs of the amplifier into the sheet metal of the chassis (they HAD to have dropped it five feet or more to achieve that IF the packing had been intact). They also tore the corner off of the outside box, thus dumping all the packing peanuts out. The customer reported that when the package arrived, there were packing peanuts all over his front yard. The amplifier was damaged to the tune of $617 of repairs. FedEx denied the claim saying that the amplifier was not properly packed. Their inspection report said that the outer box was used, and that there was no visible damage to the package. Fortunately, the customer took photos showing the torn off corner, the dumped packing peanuts, and the worn condition of the box on delivery. Also fortunately, I saved the receipt for the brand new outer box that FedEx claimed was "used."

I shipped a used computer and monitor to my mother, whose system had been knocked out by a lightning strike. I have been shipping truck loads of items for the film industry for 21 years, so I know what it takes to pack a parcel for safe transport. When my mother received the box, she opened it to find the base of the monitor had been broken, and while it worked, it was useless, because it couldn't even stand up anymore. I filed a claim for 150.00. I included ads for the same monitor on sale for 149.99 to 169.99. FedEx came and took the box, packing, and broken monitor (she kept the computer, which worked fine). A couple of weeks later, the broken monitor arrived back to me in the original box. A letter came from FedEx too, which denied my claim, saying, "no visible damage to the outer carton or it's contents." I immediately wrote an email to FedEx, including photographs detailing the creases in the box, indicating that something heavy had been set on the top of it. The creases showed it had been crushed down nearly five inches. After four weeks or so, I got another letter declining my claim stating, "According to the pictures submitted regarding this shipment, we have determined that it was not adequately prepared or packed for safe transportation." Now that I'd shot down their first reason, they had moved on to another one. The packing might have looked SOMEWHAT less, since the computer had been removed and kept by my mother. I had used styro peanuts, shredded paper, and hundreds of wadded plastic shopping bags.

I very securely packaged these items (most in their original styro containers and boxes - circa 1985) in a 2ftX2ftX2ft box. I overturned the box before closing the lid...not a bit of noise or movement. Satisfied, I marked all 4 sides and top of the package in big, bold, red lettering "CAUTION FRAGILE Porcelain Figurines with Moving Parts"; and included the word UP with arrows pointing to the top. The package weighed 38.4 lbs on FedEx's scale. When asked about insurance, I declined, for the simple reason that damage could ONLY be done purposely. The clerk indicated that since the contents were irreplaceable, I had to declare a value of at least $500. I agreed. Three days later, I received an e-mail from the recipient. He sent me a picture showing damage to 2 of the pieces. I called his business; and he related to me that he saw the Fedex truck pull up, the driver exited the vehicle with a large package prominently marked CAUTION FRAGILE, etc, walked up the 1st 2 steps, TOSSED the package on the porch, got back in the truck, took off before he could even walk out to greet him. Now, if this happened right in front of the business owner, can you imagine what happened while no one was watching? He also related that, being in business 49 yrs, he knew better than to mark "fragile" on anything - it just makes them throw it harder. He currently has claim forms for damage from USPS, UPS, and now my FedEx shipment sitting on his desk. FedEx claims dept insisted on picking-up the entire shipment for inspection - not just the 2 damaged pieces. Is it because they feel like failures for not destroying the entire shipment the 1st time? The business owner didn't like the idea of giving them a 2nd shot at this merchandise. According to him, that's not the way the others do it. Now, Melody in Motion has ceased production. Even if they hadn't, all 9 of these figurines were "retired" for 15-20 yrs or more. The only price list I have is dated July 14, 1999. The combined total value of the 9 at that time was $3400.

We receive and deliver FedEx packages a few times each week. Our office never have problems with UPS or post office. However we frequetly have problems in receiving packages from FedEx. Because there are scaffoldings outside the building, the drive would not even stop at the door to check. They will just log in "incorrect address" or "business closed" and then they just don't deliver the packages. This didn't happen one time but constantly. I think the drivers working for that office are lazy and tried to minimize their work as much as they can. For the past 6 months, we had this problem. In between, sometimes the packages were delivered and the delivery guy said he was the alternate guy not the regular guy. He didn't have problem delivering the package at all. I complained to 800 cusotmer service and I complained at their office at 149 Madison Avenue, but nothing changes. At this FedEx office, there is always a line and you can hear other customers have the same complaint. It seems many customers have to go themselves to pick up the package. Why do we have to pay that much money if we have to pick up the package ourselves?! I am more than happy to use UPS, unfortunately, the client in California likes to use FedEx. So I am pushing my client to switch service to UPS. My recommendation to everyone is NOT to use FedEx. Their web tracking and 800# service is good but ground delivery service sucks. the Madson Avenue office is particularly bad. The service is underpar and the office is running very inefficiently. UPS is doing a much better job in NYC. Also, we should consider using post office and they have a great price. Any other mail delivery company is better then FedEx. FedEx enjoyed their monopoly for too long and they took their customers for granted. Particularly at 149 Madison FedEx, they do not care of their customers at all! They worked like a government bureaucracy.

I waited for an overnight delivery all day on Friday. This was software required to complete a promised job on the weekend when nobody would be in the corporate headquarters. I watched the FedEx tracking page online all day while looking out the window for the delivery person. I have a doorbell, a door knocker, a dog that barks at anything louder than insects outside. Later, I see that my package has been returned to the "cartage agent’s facility" 50 miles away and noted "signature required".

Calls to FedEx repeatedly tell me that an attempt was made, but nobody was home. I asked them about a door tag and if they had the number. Nope. Another attempt will be made on Monday or I can drive 100 miles round-trip to retrieve it myself. I would not be so upset about this if it did not happen repeatedly. I have seen the FedEx delivery agent just stop and drop all his packages at the community office here because he is late, lazy, whatever, without even attempting delivery to an individual residence. I understand that this is not the way that FedEx does business, but they are sub-contracting agents who should be held to the same standards. After all, it all reflects on FedEx and all I want is what I paid for.

Maybe, sometime this week, he might feel like delivering a package that was paid to be shipped and delivered overnight. It's so sick. You call them and they tell you it's coming. I don't even think they know where my phone is. They are so lazy. At least, UPS delivers stuff on time. There was construction at one end of my road; however, my road is a through road, so it comes out on another route at the other end. Anyone with a delivery service should have a GPS, a map, or mapping program. They called me on 8/13, telling me they "tried" to deliver but my road is closed and noted on the package tracking that my address was incorrect. Not true. I gave the driver directions to access my street from the other end. Again, is this not 2009. I know they, at the minimum, have a mapping program at their pick-up point.

The following day, I heard my dog outside barking. I went outside and saw a "Penske" rental van in my driveway with a guy with a FedEx uniform on in it who closed his door. I called my dog in and asked the guy if everything was ok, and he just drove off. On the package tracking, it noted that the homeowner was not home or available. What a crock. The guy said "We'll put a trace on it and someone would call the next day.” Next day no one called and the package was still "in transit". I called and the girl was absolutely no help. She informed me that they are required to call me back within 24 hours and that it technically had not been 24 hours.

She goes on to say that she has no idea what happened to my package, but they will run the "trace" for 10 days. Not knowing their definition of a "trace," but assuming it is helping somehow, I asked her what happens at the end of 10 days. She says at the time that I can file a claim. In other words, they lose it and they make me wait three weeks. Then, when it doesn't get here, it’s my responsibility to take the next step. Wow, what great customer service. This is absolutely the worst shipping experience I have ever had. The USPS is a lot better than these yahoos. I won't ever use them again. This battery was promised to a client. I totally agree. I had a package arriving from US to Egypt. It arrived in Egypt after 3 days, which is good but I had to wait 2 extra days before seeing the status changing to clearance delay. I was just waiting after until I decided to search for FedEx number in Egypt, which was wrong on the FedEx's website. It seems that they don't update their page and I received a notice by mail that my package was held at the customs. I checked the number to call them to understand why they were sending me such notice. Is there something required from me?! The phone number on the notice is also wrong! Well, I finally managed to get a number for FedEx Egypt. After 3 days of waiting, when I called, I was told that it was held on customs. I asked if anything is required from me, the answer was "no". I told the guy, "So why did I receive a notice?!" He asked me to hold, then came back advising that I should make a delegation for FedEx to clear the package (Why did no one told me that before?).

I did and faxed it to them. The next day, I received a second warning notice from FedEx that my package will be returned to the sender or destroyed! I contacted the FedEx number again and explained the whole story again, that I provided a delegation yesterday (it seems that they don't keep record of customers calling or able to track anything). He advised that this second notice is for telling me that it is held in the customs. The next day, I received another papers from FedEx, which is a copy of the request done by FedEx for the customs and customs feedback. I can tell you that I have spent almost 3 hours trying to understand what those papers were about and what should I do with them.

As usual, I contacted FedEx and as usual, they told me that it is pending clearance from customs, so I have to repeat the whole story with my contacts with FedEx. After that, she told me that if something is needed from me, they will contact me. I asked her, "Why did I receive papers from FedEx?" She hung a little bit before asking me to hold. After some long time, she came back and told me that she will put me in contact with their guy in the airport who advised me that those papers need to be signed by some government party to allow my goods to get into the country (like I was supposed to know that by my own!) and I have to do it by myself as it is outside the airport!

He advised that once I have the approval, I should contact him so he sent me someone to collect the approval (thank God). I managed to get the approval two hours after (good thing when dealing with government entity). I called the same number and asked again what was going on, adding what I am requesting now. As I was leading the whole process, I know what is going on more than them. She advised me to call the call center (I didn't know that the number I got was the customs department within FedEx). I called the call center and explained what was going on and what I am requesting. He advised me my details so he can send someone to pick up the approval (He seemed a new starter as there was someone beside him telling him what to ask me. It was surprising that they didn't get my info by themselves specially that I provided them the tracking number where my info is listed.).

Well the courier got and took the approval. Two days later, it is still the same status. No one is contacting me to let me know what is happening and the call center doesn't know anything (I believe the only tool they have is the tracking tool that I can check from the net, which is not very clear to understand on what is going on.). I decided to write this complaint on FedEx as I'm still not getting any concrete step nor do they keep me updated. I forgot to mention that it is currently delayed from the initial expected date by 5 days and that I chose "international priority service" to get it soon, but for sure I regret to have chosen FedEx for this shipment and I regret more that I have chosen "international priority service". It is really slow and I still don't know how much will they surcharge me.

On June 30th, 2009, my fiance sent a package through FedEx containing a 14K, three-stone diamond engagement ring and two lipsticks from Montreal, QC. The package was picked up from Anjou, QC, brought to Mirabel, QC, where it arrived at the FedEx Memphis, TN facility. After a two day clearance delay in Memphis, I received the package in Kenner, LA on Friday, July 3rd, 2009, at 8:42am.

When I opened package, the ring was not in the package, but the two lipsticks were. I immediately contacted FedEx about my missing ring. I was put in contact with a FedEx customer relations representative who began a search for my missing ring. Since it was a holiday weekend, I did not receive any updates about the status of my missing ring until Monday, July 6th, 2009. At 5:00pm EST, I was told by the FedEx representative that my ring could not be located and gave me the option of beginning the claim process. I was reluctant to stop searching for the ring, so I left that decision up to my fiance, since he is the one who bought and shipped the ring. My fiance told FedEx that he would like their organization to search a little while longer for the ring.

After searching the rest of that week, FedEx told my fiance that the ring could not be located and was offered to begin the claim process. My fiance started the claim process on Tuesday, July 14th, 2009 and concluded the claim process on Thursday, July 16th, 2009. My fiance insured the package for $500. Although the ring’s actual worth was more than $500, my fiance was told by FedEx that this was the maximum amount the package could be insured for. My fiance received a check on Friday, July 24th, 2009 for $564.00, the $500 insurance amount plus the shipping costs.

The official story is that FedEx lost my ring. But obviously, one of FedEx's employees stole the ring since it was the only item that was missing from the package. Because of FedEx's predatory insurance and claim policies and their organization "misplacing" (stealing) my ring in the first place, my fiance lost a great deal of money by not receiving the full amount of the ring.

After this entire experience, I have to say that I feel doubly victimized by FedEx. Not only was our merchandise (the ring) stolen from us, but we were also cheated out of our money by only receiving a small portion of the ring’s worth. Receiving an engagement ring is a dream for many women. Unfortunately, FedEx has destroyed that dream for me, has stolen from me and my fiance. Needless to say, I will not be using FedEx ever again and will actively try to avoid ordering from companies that use their delivery service.

I ordered an item and it was shipped FedEx ground. I waited and watched the FedEx website but was at work. FedEx website stated the item would be delivered on Saturday, May 15, 2009, so I had my wife wait for the package. Well, I continued to watch the website and saw the "delivery" was at 10:30 PM at night and "left on doorstep". Well the wife never got the package and the video camera on the front door never recorded anyone coming to the house on Saturday.

Sunday morning, I reviewed the video and then contacted the Fremont Police to "report the theft" because FedEx swears the item was "scanned as delivered". Fast forward to numerous calls to customer service, nothing happens until I tell them I have video of the house and no one delivered a package.

Fast forward to Tuesday night, while I am at work, my wife calls and states a FedEx driver just dropped off my package. The only problem is the item delivered is not the one I wanted. I had 72 hours to return the item, but the shipper reviewed the "delivery status" which states the item was delivered Saturday and the "72 hours" is now over and I am stuck with the wrong item that can’t be returned. No one at FedEx will even say "I'm sorry, our driver messed up."

Now, FedEx is closing the claim and blames me for not demanding the shipper use delivery conformation. How did I know the shipper would not request a signature conformation? I am stuck with an item I did not want and due to FedEx driver stealing the package and delivering it late after getting caught in a lie; I cannot return the item because they refused to update the "true delivery date". FedEx is a sham and steals packages after they state they delivered the item on time.

For two weeks now I've been at war with FedEx ground. I ordered a 4lbs hard drive via 3-day service. The day of delivery, I checked FedEx website and it stated that there was a security exception. That was a lie. I was at the office all day, no one showed. I didn't receive the package until the following Tuesday and it was damaged. I sent it back. The company sent it back through FedEx. Same problems as the first delivery attempt. Estimated arrival, June 5. The driver never showed but FedEx website says they did. Security exception. That's a lie, I waited all day for the package. Calls to FedEx is useless. I was scheduled for June 6. I waited from 9AM to 8PM, no package. I checked the website and it says that the driver attempted, business closed. That was a lie also. Major waste of time. Money lost.

Delivery person who came to pick up package became angry when asked for larger package to ship paperwork. He told manager of business for him not to tell him what packages FedEx offered and then stormed off. When manager called FedEx to complain about driver, he was told he was the only driver and nothing could be done about driver's attitude and only offered drop off location. The manager of location told them he didn't want the disrespectful driver to return to location and was told again that he was only option and they could not offer any other option. The company spends between $150,000-$350,000 a year using FedEx. Company checks and order forms for 12 Florida stores were needed to be sent out today. Post office was already closed or this would be a non-issue.

On April 29th, 2009, I had arrived home from my daily activities (errands and so on) to find that just outside my building (on the ground) was a DoorTag from Federal Express that was supposed to have deliver me a package. I was upset because first, why would they leave a DoorTag outside (then falling onto the ground and getting stepped on by almost every passerby). What had caught my attention was that it had my Apt number in huge BOLD lettering ( Apt # 3 B ) on the front portion of the DoorTag. That evening I had called Federal Express to complain upon the fact that whom ever was the driver had done something that was unacceptable. How could someone NOT want to do there job correctly by just throwing the DoorTag in the front of my building for it to be destroyed. (not stuck nor placed in a location where it won't happen to fall) Imagine what my package is being treated like. The representative have said her sorry(s) and I had requested for the package to stay at the location when it arrives so that I could pick it up the next day. It was done... so I thought.
The next day I had awoken early to continue running my errands and also travel to the Federal Express (Location above) to find out that when I had arrived, the agent (by the name of Thomas) had told me that it DOES show that you requested your package to be held and for some weird reason, it was sent out. I explained to him that I had requested the package to stay at the location so that I could attain the package promptly while I run my errands. (Second Mistake on there end) Thomas had requested that the driver (at the time) would be contacted to make the delivery during the hours of two thirty and three o'clock in the afternoon (the time was approximately eleven fifteen'ish) I had told them if they are going to do so, I am going to go shopping and should be back home around twelve thirty. I was informed that I will get my package A.S.A.P just around that time frame. I had arrived to my house and noticed that ANOTHER DoorTag was posted outside, but this time on a metal fence just outside my building (which has no fences surrounding the entrance)... Now, I am upset... frustrated at the fact that I was lied to, deceived and God knows what has come upon the where-about's of my package. Please help me. I had filed two complaints to them and they seem like it's just a joke. It's Federal mail that they are dealing with, please have this matter corrected for me and / or if not help me with this matter please. I don't know what else to do. Thank you very much and God Bless.

Hi, My name is Petal Dopson. I recently purchased a $65 stroller on Ebay. Never having any problems with my shipments before I didn't purchase the insurance which was probably two dollars more because I didn't expect anything to go wrong. But something did go wrong. The stroller was sent out via FedEx on march 31st, and was to be delivered by April 2nd. I left a note on my apartment door for the driver in case I missed him, to take the box to the manager's office. At work, I checked the status of the delivery only to find out that it was delivered. Later that night when I got home, the door tag the driver left for me stated that he took the package to the office. I never received my package. I've been calling FedEx none stop and they've pretty much given me the run-around.At first, according to the driver, the told me a blonde girl by the name of D. Sullivan signed for my package at the office. They also said that this person claimed to be my niece. A few more days, a few more calls, and they told me that the driver spoke with her again and she said that she took the package to my door. I still didn't receive the package. I called FedEx today to find out if there were any updates for me and this time they told me that the claim my shipper filed was denied because the package was delivered, yet I never received it. I am still very young and inexperienced in dealing with situations such as this and I feel completely bullied not only by my shipper who refuses to render his support in any way but by FedEx. I will no longer be doing business with FedEx because they took their dishonest driver's word over mine after I gave them the real manager's number to call and verify that I did not receive the shipment. Please, if you have any advice for me regarding this situation I would highly appreciate it. Thanks, a disappointed consumer.

I ordered a set of rims and it was shipped via Fedx the driver delivered the rims which was in 4 separate boxes, to my home and left them in my driveway without any notice my wife was going to the store and opened the garage door and saw one package on the floor in our driveway. Apparently someone took the other three packages. I called and spoke to the shipping manager Frank Martin at 336-659-4356 and he informed me that the package was delivered and the driver lied about where he placed them he indicated the packages was left at the front door but admitted leaving them in my drive way. After starting a clime which took me up the chain because no one cares to the corporate office where I got a hold of Silvia Black who is not worth much and cannot do anything but is the only contact. The first agent I spoke to was Jonathan Dugan he was very condescending and rude stating they show the package as delivered and once the driver places the packages somewhere on your property it counts as being delivered. He did not care where the packages were placed or that the driver lied about not leaving them at the front door which was what he noted. After our conversation he took it upon himself to not go further and send the case to executive claims where Hope Iverson 412-631-9159 was then assigned to it; I tried many times to contact Hope without success. I called Silvia Black and she contacted Hope and placed several voice mails and even sent her emails still no response. This is truly scary one of the largest shipping companies in the world and this is the way it is being operated? No one knows what the other is doing and there is no control the last resort is Silvia Black and she is no help I asked to go higher but the CEO do not speak to little people "the customer" how shameful.
