It has been a unique experience for me. It's a complicated process that requires time to read and understand before signing up for the agreement. I made the mistake of not doing that. This resulted in my attempt to cancel the agreement by filling a notice of cancellation. However, the Contract manager, Reece; was able to help me review different options that alleviated my misgivings. He restructured the agreement to fit my financial situation and helped me understand the process so much better. I appreciate his expert help and would recommend him to anyone needing valuble advice on financial matters.

I enrolled with National Debt Relief in July 2022 with approximately $35,600 in unsecured debt (mainly Upstart and Synchrony/PayPal). I was in a difficult financial situation after a period of unemployment and was desperately looking for a way to reduce my debt burden without filing bankruptcy at that time. During the initial sales call, which was recorded, the representative was very reassuring. She specifically told me that my credit score “will organically improve” and “will start to report back to the credit report with a zero balance” as the debts were settled. This statement was a major factor in my decision to sign the contract, even though the written agreement disclaimed credit repair services.
I began making monthly deposits into the dedicated settlement account as required. In February 2023, NDR negotiated one partial settlement on the Upstart debt. After a token $50 payment was made to the creditor, NDR immediately withdrew the majority of their fee ($4,085.59), leaving the account almost empty. Subsequent smaller fee withdrawals continued. The Synchrony debt was never settled. My settlement account was repeatedly drained, leading to overdraft fees from my bank.
I stayed in the program for over two years, continuing to make payments even as my credit score deteriorated due to the required stoppage of payments to creditors. By November 2024, I finally withdrew from the program after realizing the fees had consumed roughly half of what I had paid toward settlements. The program left me in worse shape than when I started, with serious delinquencies, charge-offs, and a denied credit card application specifically citing the “serious delinquency” caused by this process.
I paid a total of $5,551.73 in fees to NDR and received almost nothing in return. I am now forced to file Chapter 7 bankruptcy to get a fresh start. This experience has been extremely stressful and financially damaging. This company preys on desperate people with misleading sales promises while delivering very little actual debt relief for the high fees charged. I have filed complaints with the BBB, CFPB, and California Attorney General. I strongly advise others in financial trouble to avoid National Debt Relief and seriously consider other options, including going straight to bankruptcy counseling or filing if the numbers don’t work.
Thank you for reaching out about your concerns. We see that you spoke with us today but will be doing a deeper dive into your program to be able to better assist you. A member of our team will be giving you a call as soon as possible.
Sincerely,
National Debt Relief

I was looking online for a loan, I came across NDR, Gregg R., sent me an email showing my debts and creditors. He showed me how he could help. It got me thinking overnight. I spoke to my wife and here we are! I think he was Heaven sent.

NDR had better reviews compared to others, and they seemed more accredited. I didn't wanna get myself into a predicament where somebody was stealing money and not paying it. The enrollment process was super easy. They do most of the work for you, aside from you giving them access to your accounts. Everything was good and super simple.

I was trying to get a loan on Google but I couldn't get one. I learned that I could do the debt relief with NDR for a couple of years to help me pay off my debt quickly. So I signed up with them. They were good. I didn't know that working on the program would mess up your credit but besides that, everything fell in place.

Steve was great with answering and explaining the answers to all of my questions. Even when I would ask for further clarification. Answering them with more than one example. Even explaining those examples which he used to answer.

I was in over my head and I was, "How can I get out of this?" I looked on Google and National Debt Relief was the most reputable and everything else. They were super simple to work with. They explained everything along the way. I had three different things to pay off. NDR was great about letting me track each of those and my credit score and some of their financial classes. Also, I had no problem getting ahold of someone and getting an answer for the few questions I had. It was great. If I ever had to recommend them, I will.

I had a great experience today with Jeff from National Debt Relief. He made me feel so comfortable during a difficult time. Admitting debt problems is never easy and he walked me through every step and did a great job of educating me through the process. He is very knowledgeable and really puts you at ease through the whole process. Thank you Jeff for everything!!

Jeffrey was absolutely wonderful. He explained the program at length and answered all our questions in a patient and professional manner. He was very clear and professionally knowledgeable of the program. He gave us an air of relief and confidence we did the right thing. He took the time reviewing the documents we would receive, and that all the information was correct and in-order. Everything laid out the order of what will happen, and what to look for in our email. Again, Jeffery was so professional, friendly and helpful. Thanks so much! Thanks so very much!

Everything went well, but I'm not happy about the end result. National Debt Relief has lied to me twice. I asked them for paperwork after the completion of my account. They have told me twice, "We'll send you copies of all the companies that were in your consolidation." We're almost in the sixth month of the year. I still have not said received one piece of paper showing me what was paid off while I paid them $480 every month for however many years. I'm not happy about that. I've asked them for it three times. I was told every time that it takes time to look up all of the accounts that were settled. It doesn't take five or three months to do it. My account was closed out this past March. I still have no confirmation of the business transaction that I did with them. That's not right. That makes them look bad. Are they hiding something or what?

I heard about National Debt Relief online and I chose them because they were the first company I found. The enrollment process was cool and fair, and everything went was good. The rep who assisted me always helped me get things straight every time. The program ended a little faster than I expected, and I had some cash left over from the whole program as well.

I've had a great experience with NDR. They've been right upfront with me all the way. I make my payments on time every month. And everything's going really well. I'm almost out of debt now. We've already paid off three credit cards. I've got one left and that's it.
They gave me a break for five months. I don't have to pay them the monthly payment for five months, because I graduated to a point where they could give me a break while they're settling the last credit card. Then my payments will start back up in August for this last credit card. Then that'll be it. I'll be done. I’ll be out of debt.
I've had nothing but a positive experience with them on there. Everybody I've talked to has been great. The whole process has been good. The only negative thing I didn't like about the process was that they were collecting 30% interest on me, which I thought was pretty steep. But that's what I would have paid any other way anyway, ‘cause all the credit cards I'm getting in the mail now, they want 30% or more.

I had a really great experience with NDR. Things went very smoothly. I never had any issues. I had one call where we got everything together. And then it was just an automatic payment that came out of my account every month. It was great. I loved it. I finished the program last month. It was a quick process. And I enjoyed the steps. I would definitely recommend them.

Finding this organization is such a relief. It is a burden that they are willing to handle for me. If this all works out, I recommend them wholeheartedly!!! I am so tired of credit card companies promising the world and then kicking you when you hit rough times. Thank you.

National Debt Relief helped me get out of debt. I had a lot of credit card debt and they did a debt consolidation. I gave them all my information and they told me how long that was gonna take, how much it was going to be every month and that I would have to pay every month, which worked out good. The program ran for three years and I completed it last February. We had expected it to take longer but it ended about six months earlier than we had originally planned. What had been around $3,000 ended up being reduced to about $1,700. They negotiated with the creditors to bring it down to something more manageable. When I talk to people and find out that they're in debt, I recommend National Debt Relief.

I had a couple of co-workers who used National Debt Relief and I decided to do it, too. I saw the commercial. The application process was super easy and they made it stress-free. It was a little time-consuming but it was expected. Any time I needed help or needed to ask a question, the reps helped immediately. I like how you don't have to call and wait forever to talk to somebody. You get assistance right away. Overall, I'm extremely thankful for the opportunity with NDR.

I had a really good experience with National Debt Relief. They really helped me, and they met my needs. I'm really thankful for them. I got a bunch of calls from them, too. I kept asking questions. And they sent me their credentials, showing me how they work. I didn't realize they were legit until I used them. They said they would lock me in at a specific rate, and that's what I would pay until it was paid off. I was like, “That's awesome.” I did that. And it was better than I expected. Sure enough, my credit card debt’s gone. I'm thankful for that. I ended up finishing it, and I needed that ‘cause my credit card was weighing me down. A couple of months after I paid it off, my credit score went right back up to where it was. I highly recommend them.

I have credit card debt. I saw the commercial for NDR. I heard that they could also cut the interest payments in half and get out of debt faster than I could do it on my own. I went with them, and the enrollment process was quick and easy. Everything was handled really well. Everybody I talked to was very nice and helpful. They were really easy to work with and they did exactly what they said they were gonna do. Overall, the experience was great. And it really cut down on my debt. I was looking at 15 years on my own, and they got it down to less than three. They're really good at what they do. It wasn't overly expensive like most people would think, as well.

National Debt Relief is great. I love them. They helped me consolidate and set up a payment plan. I just stuck to that and then paid it off. I didn't have to call them or talk to them for anything. I would recommend them to anybody. They were professional. I had to talk to them because the last credit card had finally settled and they were very helpful on that call.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! They didn't settle my accounts just shy of 6 months even though I had over $4000 in the savings account with them. I contacted them every which way and nothing. I would get these ridiculous emails back but nothing progressed. I will tell you what you do as I have now done it for the rest of my accounts. You wait until you start getting settlement offers after 4-6 months of the account being overdue. Contact before 120 days as that is when they charge off the bad debt which is a huge hit on your credit rating. Then call and ask if there are any settlement offers for your account. They will go through your options. That's it! Don't pay for this - you can do it! When I left the program, NDR charged me over $600 in fees. Horrid experience.
Thank you for taking the time to reach out to us about your program concerns. Unfortunately, we are unable to locate any record matching your provided information in our system. Should you wish to discuss debt settlement services with us, please do not hesitate to reach out.
