It’s been a good experience with Events & Adventures - not fully what I was expecting but a lot of fun. The main thing is most of the events during the week start before I get off of work and are not as close to my area but the events I’ve gone to have been a lot of fun. There have been periods where I’ve gone to a lot of things all at once and then I don’t go for two or three weeks. Mostly it’s my scheduling that makes it hard to get to have anything.

Joining Events & Adventure is my best decision ever. It's simple, and I just have a good time and can get out of my comfort zone. I've had a really good time and I found some really good friends. I've done a lot with them but I haven't done as much as I want to since I'm working and going to school but the events are really great.

I'm currently having an issue with Events & Adventures because I purchased in a few events I joined in November, and this past weekend, Saturday, I had a bicycle accident and I have a fracture to my pelvis so I called them to freeze my membership because obviously I can't do anything. They declared to freeze it but they'll still gonna take the money out of my account, so I'm not very pleased. I said, "Well, I'll bring a doctor's note." I'm obviously not in any kind of shape to go do anything and I was really upset. So, they said, "Well, the best we can do is just extend your membership like six months beyond the contract." That's well and good but why should I have to pay for something that I cannot participate in. They don't really have a policy in their contract for anything if a circumstance like mine came up where you're ill or unable to participate in events, and that's not a good thing because things like that happens.

I really like my experience with Events & Adventures primarily with Seattle. The event host and everybody are really good. We always know what’s going on and what to expect. They do variety events and they ask for input. And I like that they schedule different things and I just show up to what I want. It’s fun while it gives me an opportunity to go out and do things with other people.

What interested me most about Events and Adventures was that they had events everyday and being able to get out with similar people that had a similar schedule. When I originally moved here, I started working in the service industry. And then I went to a normal 9 to 5, Monday through Friday job. So when I moved, all the people that I'd met and my friends were servers, bartenders, and managers within the service industry. Whenever I wanted to do something, they were always busy, and when they wanted to do something, I was busy...There was a scheduling conflict. That's originally what drew me to Events and Adventures. It was like, "Okay, I'm meeting people having the same availability."

It's really exciting going with Events & Adventures. I have attended a lot and the activities are pretty interesting from hiking to just getting together and going to art things. They're all pretty fun. And I remember everyone being very nice and welcoming on my first time joining an event so I had a good time.

I was a little nervous when I attended my first event because I wasn't sure what to expect, but I enjoyed the event and I think it was a positive experience. I've been a member for 18 months and I attended probably around 120 events and trips, and made friends on those events.

I joined Events and Adventures on a whim, I didn't do enough research before entering into a contract. I went to an event and the host was kind of flaky and socially awkward and so was everybody else there. I didn't enjoy it and the event was expensive. It wasn't what I was expecting. There wasn't a discount on the ticket. I didn't really feel like going back and investing this time into it. Although I had sunk $1,300. I tried to see if I could get some of that back and they said I couldn't.

I love Events & Adventures. I had a good time and everything has worked for me every time. Every event I’ve gone, I enjoyed.

Events & Adventures is very expensive for a program if you're not able to use it. I did a zipline event with Events & Adventures and it went really well. I really enjoyed that. But in about a six-month period, I only went to three events just because the events were not at a time that worked for me or did not really speak to me. So to spend $1,000 on three events seems a little outrageous, not to mention you have to pay for the event. You know you're paying for the opportunity to participate, but then you're actually paying for the event. So if you can look at the calendar and really be sure that you can participate then it might be worth it.

I was new in Houston and didn't know any places. I think by Events & Adventures I could experience new things, new places, and find some friends. I had a good time with nice people.

I've had a great experience with Events & Adventures and would recommend it. Meeting people is what got me interested so by my latest count I've done 15 events. My favorite ones were all the water activities including soft river tubing. All that stuff was all fun! I also have baseball games planned out for March.

Everything I've done with them has been good. The events are always well-planned. The members are all fantastic individuals. No issues whatsoever. I recommend them every chance I get.

E&A has very friendly people and they care about each other. Their New Year's party was really nice. We've gone to Topgolf and it was fun. It's also fun going out to dinner together. Everything we do at Events and Adventures is fun. This Sunday we're planning to go to the Renaissance Fair here in Arizona.

Going to my first event, I was like "oh I'm gonna meet some new people and have some fun, and make friends." Then I was able to do two events in one night. The first was pretty crazy and really fun. Winner got a big old, life-size, gorilla-type teddy bear. The other event was an icebreaker. It's quite an experience. You keep meeting more and more interesting people to every event you go. You get to do fun things, whether you're enjoying yourself or embarrassing yourself in the process.

I joined Events and Adventures because singles can get together and hang out. I started out a little bit nervous but excited at the first event I went to but I eventually became more relaxed. I enjoyed the soccer event -- we went and played indoor soccer and I loved it. I'd recommend!

Having just moved from Arizona to Texas, I was looking for a way to meet new people. This made me try Events and Adventures. So far, I've been to 10 events and 1 weekend camp out, which was my favorite. I have another campout at the end of this month and whitewater rafting in August. I have definitely made new friends and built my social network here. I have people to hangout with and talk to. It's been a fantastic environment and organization. I really liked the flexibility because there's more or less something to do almost everyday. And even if you do have to cancel last minute, there's no penalty. They understand that things happen. It's freaking awesome.

I've been enjoying Events and Adventures. I grew up in Houston all my life and thought I knew what Houston was. When I moved back after college, I realized my high school friends are gone and what I expected to come back to was not the same. So I need to make some really great new friends and find a lot of great new places to go hang out at. It's been really awesome.

I've made a couple of new friends through Events & Adventures. There's a bunch of new people there, I had a drink, relaxed and just had fun. I've gone to four events now and I've got a bunch more planned for the rest of next month. They're all fun and I’m looking forward going on a swimming trip. I also participated in volleyball every Tuesday, which is a good workout for me.

My friend said joining Events & Adventures would be a good way for me to meet people after I was married for a long time, for 27 years. I don't have any single friends so I'm not quite sure how to interact and socialize with people. It was a way to get out and to not just sit at home. I'm interested with the trip and I'm hoping I would be able to take some of them. As of now I usually attend two activities a week. I like bowling but I've not gone with some of the meetings. I'm not big into the bar scene but I go to the game days and the movies. I've made friends, met some people and saw each other and hang out -- it's nice that way. I've recommended Events & Adventures to some people that I've met who were single, or just got divorced. It helps a lot trying to get back out in the world.

Events and Adventures provides good service. I really like when they have events. I know Houston is one of the only ones that has a clubhouse so they have a central place and we can go there to have a game night and stuff. That's a good thing to meet a lot of people.

Right now I'm dating and trying to get to a point of marriage. I'm 45 now so I'm not a young buck anymore but I like to have fun. I've been a member of Events and Adventures since January of 07. I like the variety of activities and the fact that I could go out and do things with people that would enjoy the same activities and have opportunities to meet potential mates or more. I attend about four, five events a month – certainly more in earlier years. My favorite so far is the camping in Wisconsin at Spring Green Campground on Labor Day weekend. I also like a certain event on Valentines weekend a couple of years ago that I went to which was very good up in Saint Paul. There was a good turnout – like 80, 90 people there and they had a DJ. It was a good event and I like the variety.

I'm new in town and looking to meet new people. My first event with Events and Adventures turned out to be fun. They did a good night introduction. After that, I have done the game night, where I did a football game, and Galveston for New Year's Eve. I have made some friends in joining those activities. I, however, haven't done a ton recently due to my work as I've been on the road. I am looking forward to doing some of the travelling later on this year when things slow down with work. Also, the location of the events is inconvenient for me so it is hard for me to get to some of them. Nevertheless, I recommend Events and Adventures to other people who are single and are struggling with their social life.

I joined Events & Adventures because I felt it would allow me to be with people to do things with. I live in Arizona and I don't have any relatives close by and I was coming out of a 17-year relationship too. When I got myself online, they said that they check everybody out before they find anybody up, which I don't think they do - they simply ask questions and tap in on your emotions. I also never knew at the time that it was gonna cost me anything and I didn’t know things were gonna be so far because I’m not close and they said everything is gonna be mostly in this area... So far though, I've attended four events and I’ve gotten to have fun in all four times. However, I haven't exchanged numbers with anybody yet; I just talk with them at events.

I've attended probably 30 events and definitely liked a lot of the sports activities like volleyball. It's been terrific overall. I've had a lot of fun and made some friends. It helps me push myself out because I’m not going to just sit by when I paid a certain amount for it.

I joined Events and Adventures last year and I try to go to about two or three activities per week. There have been a couple of weeks that there wasn't anything that interests me or just couldn't make it one way or another. The activities I joined include Tuesday night volleyball until I hurt my knee, an art tour event, went to several dance lesson events, dinner and went to the Valentine party.

I want to go out but I don't have anyone to go out with. When I heard about Events & Adventures as a singles club, I was attracted to it. I try to do at least five to ten activities a month depending on what's going on for the month. I've done scuba diving, a lot of pool events, sports events, etc. This past weekend, Saturday, we went to the hungry room where the zombies are chained up. The evaluator figured we were all working together because we saved each other--we are of different nationalities and sizes of people but we've become friends, which is wonderful about being in this club.

I can't get into all the things that Events and Adventures does but I've enjoyed my experience with them. Sometimes I just wish I can do more but I'm so busy with work. I've joined some events but not nearly as much as what I've invested in. I'm still very pleased because it was an experience for me. It was me experimenting with something new, so I take it one step at a time. Once, I wanted to do the evening bicycle ride but it skipped my mind and I didn't get around to doing that. I haven't had a chance to really explore it.

I've attended Memorial Day, and the camping trip which I like and was fun. The members met at the location and enjoyed some good music. My goal is to attend events twice a month. It was fun to learn new things. There was a knitting class and I still knit to this day. I like a lot of classes. I definitely recommend Events and Adventures.

I've only been to one event with Events and Adventure and...I'm not really impressed. There were lots of events when I joined since it was Christmas but they're just not very exciting. They're like "movie night", "movie night", "more movie nights"... Not much of an adventure.

I'm a newcomer and I've only done a few group activities and they were all great. I've made new friends. We went out to the Mystery Theater, a Japanese restaurant, a small burlesque show, and to Shedd Aquarium. The first event I went to was very well organized with signs put out where I can meet people so I was satisfied with it.

Since joining Events and Adventures, I've met some nice people. Everyone's nice and sweet. A friend who used to work at this place called The Melting Pot told me about Events and Adventures years ago when she saw a group of people who were involved with them come in. And recently, I've been hearing about it on the radio which is one of the reasons why I went in and joined the group. I went to the dance night where we went out to a club. I also went to the mixer, like a game night at the Events & Adventure house and also to the Museum of Fine Arts. But my favorite event was a tie between the dodge ball that we did at sky zone or wally ball which we did at a rec center - the more active events. I also went to a Rockets game this past weekend. Those were pretty good events.

Events and Adventures has been fun and interesting. I've had around fifteen events and trips with them. The best I've been to was when we went to this bingo hall in the heights. There were only ten people but we all sat there, hung out, chit-chatted and got to know each other. But I actually have a big, giant complaint from the last event that I went to. It was the Rockets game on Saturday. Me and two other people were seated separately - like really far away - from the rest of the group. We really couldn't talk to them and it was really kind of awkward. I pay a lot of money monthly and for that ticket for the lower level seat, but we were sat in a completely different area. If you can't get all of the seats together then just don't say you have X amount of seats. I thought that was kind of horrible. And I feel like there needs to be a little more communication on the website as to what the event is. But for the most part, it's been good.

The idea of getting married again made me join Events & Adventures. I've been to eight or nine events/trips already and my favorite so far was the volleyball. I'm very outdoorsy and I'm really not that into dancing so I'd love if they have more outdoor events like hiking - like their previous one in Cupertino. If they can have more hiking events in South Bay that'd be perfect. Unfortunately, I haven't made new friends yet. Maybe because I'm new and people are a little apprehensive. But still I enjoy and have a good time.

On my arrival to my first event with Events and Adventures, I wasn't sure if it's going to be a good fit since I've never done anything like this before and I've only been single a short period of time - I'm a widow. I much rather be able to meet people and let the rest just fall naturally. But I tried it anyway because it seemed like it was a good concept of getting out there and meeting people. Now that I've attended some events, I'm enjoying it a lot. There's just one event at the Perot Museum that ended up not being good but it was my fault - my plane was delayed, there were a lot of people that I didn't know, and so I was never able to hook up with anybody there.

I've been attending about 4 events a month and have been on about 20 events in 7 months. I’ve done volleyball, bowling, karaoke, Halloween party, football watching, and been at the bar and dancing. And I met my boyfriend through Events & Adventures about 6 months ago. I think it would be great if they could make the online side of things better, like an app. That would make things a lot easier to know what’s going on, to connect with events and just actually read it on your mobile phone.

My work buddies were talking about how I was going to meet someone as I am single and only go to church and don't do the bar scene. One of them suggested Events & Adventures and I looked them up online. I attended one of their events and I noticed that the other participants were either 10 years older or 10 years younger than me so I haven't made any friends there. I would recommend Events and Adventures and have been talking to everybody about them.

I was feeling some loneliness in my life lately. I'm a Venezuelan who came here four years ago. I have been living alone for four years so I wanted a new, fresh start. I've been to a couple of groups these four years, but I wanted to meet new people. Events and Adventures got my interest when I heard about them on the radio.

I felt I was going to meet some people in Events and Adventures that were to my same likes and dislikes - meet valid people that were datable. I did the new member meet and the gang night. I did a hike. I have done the pub crawl. I did the museum last night. But after I've attended these events, that feeling has changed. I haven't made new friends or found any significant others. I'm not offended by gay people whatsoever, but it seems to me that most of the men that are in this club are gay. I'm going to another one tonight, a pool and darts event. I hope it turns out better.

I've written my story below, but here's the bottom-line: DO NOT SIGN-UP WITH EVENTS AND ADVENTURES unless you can afford to pay the costs right up front. If you are willing to toss in a couple grand to this company and can afford the monthly dues as well as the costs for the events themselves on top of the dues, go for it. I'm sure you'll enjoy yourself and meet lots of nice people. If you live on any kind of a budget, I would steer clear and visit other social groups offering truly free events. My other piece of advice before launching into my story, don't trust their sales people or their backroom deals.

My first event with Events and Adventures was the 20th anniversary of the Houston Clubhouse. I still needed to get my parents from the airport so it was a little weird because I was there but I wasn’t really there. Thankfully for my future events, I was much more comfortable and got the vibe of the group. I was going to these events about four times a week. We've done dinner and a movie, going to an arcade, happy hours, bowling, parties at the clubhouse as well, Halloween parties. I really enjoy the group and think it's a lot of fun. To be honest, the cost is a bit high but I do enjoy being a part of it. I haven't gone to any events for a little bit now so I’m trying to get my schedule organized so I can start going again. It's a really good concept. The people are very friendly and welcoming, but I do think the cost is a bit much.

I've done four or five events so far with Events and Adventures - Trivia Night, Valentine's Day group activity, and New Year's. You meet a lot of new people in an open setting and have a good time. It's a great way to meet new people for new ideas. But I think choosing an event that isn’t so close to an actual holiday where people are traveling would be a better idea for most of it overall for future reference because of several cancellations and it turns into a couple of last people that are there.

I've been with Event and Adventures for two years and since November, I've been in eight or nine events or trips. I have participated in group activities such as indoor sky diving, trampoline, dodge ball, trivia nights, trapped in a room with a zombie. Trivia night was my favorite. I haven't had any romantic connection but it was fun and I made friends. I had a good time, and it's a good reason to get out of the house more.

I was nervous and very skeptical upon arriving to my first Events and Adventures event. It was a bowling event. I was a little bit apprehensive to go up to anybody and start talking to them, but then after a while everybody just seemed really friendly. We started talking and getting to know each other. Now, those people became my friends. It really kicked off everything that I have been doing over at events. Since then, I've had around ten events and trips with them. My favorite is the bubble soccer - we're put into a huge bubble and played soccer. It was amazing! It seriously is awesome!

It's easy to meet with people. Events and Adventures organizes the events and I just have to show up. I'm doing my first trip this weekend, but I've been to 30 events. They've all been pretty good. I wish, though, they would reduce the price because that's what's killing me. The price of $200 a month is what's breaking my bank right now. But I've got friends of mine that have already signed up.

My first event with Events & Adventures was pretty low key and I was made to feel very welcome even though I was anxious before arriving there. The host, Keith, helped me through everything and it was great. The group activities I've participated in were Flag Football, several mingles, game nights, dinners, fencing and movies. I also went to the Halloween party and New Year’s party. I really enjoyed going to the Pub Olympics and the Valentines party was really nice. I have attended two dozen trips and events and I really enjoyed being a member.

I can imagine some people would be a little bit apprehensive and nervous. But it depends on the personality of the person. Not for me...I was optimistic and excited when I attended my first event with Events and Adventures. I'm pretty confident so I went to this event and met new people, and socialized. This past Valentine's Day, we had our own private party and had our own impromptu kind of performance and it was exclusive to the club, and that was great. And later on, it opened up to the public. In the middle of December there was an ugly sort of party and it was again private, so just the club. The indoor skydiving was pretty fun.

I've joined two of their events and I've got a third coming up Saturday. The first event was a get-together at a local sports bar. We were gonna play a game but that didn't really work out because they had changed the timing there due to a Blackhawks game. But that was fine because the event gave me more time to talk to people. I've joined the same sort of events for many years. I try to get to know other persons and let them know a little bit about me. I didn't get to know everybody, but it was good -- it was a very nice crowd and I was glad that I went.

This company lied about the terms of my membership then treated me like I had no right to challenge them. I was signed up back in September and now it is January and I have not been going to any events. Here's why. I was told that the price breakdown of my membership every month was put towards the events that "cost" money and when I asked why I needed to put in a credit card number, she told me it was simply to confirm my identity. When I saw that this was in fact, not true after checking my credit card statement and seeing I had been charged, that was when I stopped signing up for things and started trying to get some answers.

This entity is a scam to the Nth degree. My situation: I expressed interest online because I was interested in joining. They almost immediately sent me a follow up email and then call to set up an in person interview. I went in and had the interview. There was a lot of talk, HARD SELLING, and pomp and circumstance. When we went over the contract, I asked about cancellation. I was told I could cancel at anytime. I even tried to write this in. She said, "look there it's already there." Based on her verbal statement, I thought she wouldn't lie to me. She knew explicitly that I wanted to write in her statement about cancellation within 2 months (same time frame as time frame for changing my membership type) but she assured me that the written agreement left room for that agreement. The buy in was steep, in the THOUSANDS. I paid a sum up front by giving a credit card authorization for a future date certain. The rest of the payment was to be taken via monthly credit card transactions.

I joined Events and Adventure because of the opportunity to go out and meet new people and do social stuff. I have attended 20 events and my favorite activity is the wally ball, indoor volleyball. I've joined in the dinner and a movie, Christmas lights walk and many different events. All the hosts and everybody in the group seems really friendly and really great. It's been a huge pleasure just going out, meeting and talking with people.

Experience with Events & Adventures has been fun. What interested me most about the club was meeting new people. With Events & Adventures, I have made new friends. I have attended two trips or events a month. I went bowling, I went to both singles mixers, both party buses, movies. But my favorite was the Halloween haunted house party bus.

Events and Adventures is a casual way to meet people without a lot of pressure or awkwardness, unlike online dating. Since February I've attended quite a few activities and generally like the active ones, the sports, when they play football or Frisbee or volleyball. The one feedback that I would give, not necessarily positive but not negative either, is that the financial aspect of it is a little bit high even after you join because some of the events that you go to are more expensive than if you just went by yourself. There are free events and that's good but I get irritated when I'm paying more for a ticket than the face value. I feel like I'm ripped off. I'm not saying I'm super unhappy. I'm just saying that kind of gives me a bad feeling whenever that happens. It doesn't give me an overall awesome impression.

Just seeing all the fun everybody had got me interested in Events & Adventures. I was a little bit optimistic arriving at my first event. And I've been to around ten events so far. They've all been great but my favorite is the Halloween bus tour. I also went to bubble soccer. I also like the volleyball and I try do it every Tuesday. I have no regrets. My experience with them has been fantastic.

I first heard about Events and Adventures in the radio. I was interested at how I can get out and go on planned events that were really fun. I’m always nervous meeting new people. On attending my first 4 events, I was a little bit nervous at first and then I was fine. I have attended 5 trips and events and my favorite is the swing dance. I have no coordination and no rhythm but I still had fun. I’ve made new friends and they're old people. Normally, I’d just stay at home watching TV or babysitting my niece and nephew but this experience has been a good opportunity for me to branch out and have fun. So, being able to get out and say “Oh yeah, I’m going dancing or I’m going to concert!" It has given me a new outlook and I’m excited. I’ve recommended it to several people.

I signed up with Events and Adventures in July of this year and my first event was the icebreaker. I signed up on a Friday and got the icebreaker on a Saturday, so it was fun. I got to meet a lot of people on my first day. It wasn't that awkward because there's a lot of new members at that time. Since then I have signed up in 90% to 95% of the events so I have known a lot of people, especially the ones who've attended often.

I anted to go out and joined Events & Adventures. I've been to at least 20 events. I like the water ball. The volleyball and the tempering dodge ball are pretty fun, too as well as Game Night. I've met a few friends.

I first heard about Events and Adventures from a friend. I'm recently single, and most of my friends are married so I was just looking to meet single people that I could be friends with. I was a little nervous during my first event but it was an activity that I was comfortable doing so that helped. I've now attended around ten events and my favorite was the whirlyball that was really fun. I also liked the wine tasting. The rock climbing was also fun. I'm at a point now where I go to an event and would know at least several people. My experience has been very positive.

There were some changes that had happened in my personal life that caused me to want to join. I don't really have a problem meeting new people but because I'm from the suburb and it was more of eastern looking in the city, that was more of my concern. I've been to about four or five of events since I joined. My first one was new members' mixer thing at a local bar and then I have been to a Zoo night. They got winter lighting thing that was the most recent one that I went to. I also went and saw a band, which was probably one of my favorites because they were really good. I've made some acquaintances and I've seen some of the same people every time I've gone which makes it more comfortable every time I'm in an event. Nobody's there that I've actually like seeing outside of Events and Adventures. But I've enjoyed everything that I've gone to.

I heard about Events and Adventures on the radio. It would give me something to do. Since joining I have attended 20 or so events or trips and I liked all of them so far. I've done some painting classes, an adventure park and also volleyball and have made new friends.

The level of activities that Events & Adventures has and doing something nearly every day is very appealing to me. During the first event, I was anxious. But it was so cool because I recognized the regional director from my past dealings. Immediately she was like “Oh James, it’s you. Come on over here. Let me introduce you to everybody.” That changed it. I also did a couple dozen events and trips since I’ve been in. I like the Cinco de Mayo cruise. We did a couple houseboats over the summertime too. Last night’s event was a lot of fun. There’s been a nice mix of stuff at the ballpark, restaurants, to outings and camping. Everything has been so fun. I’ve already referred others to Events & Adventures. I really have enjoyed the experience and I'm looking forward to my next event real soon.

My experience with Events & Adventures has been positive. I'm a single guy and pretty busy with work and school a lot of the time so E&A seems like a different change of pace than what I normally missed out. I like the fact that even though I work and go to school, I could still go out and meet other single individuals on a pretty regular basis. I was excited arriving at the first event. The river tubing trip was my first one and it was fun. I've been to twelve events/trip but out of everything my favorite has to be when we have to be on the double-decker party bus on the way. I also went to moonlight kayaking, bowling and golden art mini-golf and have made friends.

It was on a radio spot with Mark the owner, giving his “hi-how-you-doing?” that I first heard about Events & Adventures. I liked the idea that they stated in the beginning it is for singles just to get out and have fun and meet others and it isn’t necessarily a “hey this is a big dating hook-up deal.” I like that it is open, honest, and approachable. I was nervous during the first event. But I travel and have had an opportunity to work in a whole lot of different environments, so I’m not afraid of meeting new people. I was anxious to meet new people. Period. Someone that I could hang out with, let's go bowling or let’s do this or let’s do that. I was looking forward to it. But again, there’s always that nervous “oh am I gonna make a good first impression?”

My experience with Events & Adventures has been wonderful so far. I first heard about them on the radio. I was new to Texas and wanted to have things to do and to make some new friends. I was a little nervous arriving on my first event because I’m a shy person and I like staying behind the crowd. So I wasn’t sure how it was going to go but it was so much fun and I enjoyed it very much. I haven’t made any trips yet but have done 12 to 20 events and my favorite is the Scarborough fair and the pocket theater. The pocket sandwich theater was when you got to go throw popcorn at the actors and that was cool. I have made male and female friends through Events & Adventures. I haven’t found a significant other yet but I’m not really looking for it. Right now I’m just enjoying it and looking forward to the next adventure.

I have really enjoyed Events & Adventures. They offer different types of events that you can go through the club. It just seemed to me like a good way to meet people without having to be worrying about going to just a bar. I like all the different types of events that you could be involved in and attend at least one to two events a week, sometimes more if I don't have my daughter. I have signed up for every event from the 19th all the way to the 27th. I've joined Flag football, Pocket Sandwich Theater (it's a popcorn-brewing theater melodrama), overnight campouts. I just did a limo light tour on Saturday. I also went to a Dallas Stars game. I've only been with the group for four months so I'm not too concerned about meeting my significant other but have met a lot of new people. On Sunday, I did go to one of the members housewarming party so I have been interacting with people outside of the group. It's one of those things that you got to meet lots of different people. And even if I don't meet with them outside the club, I'm still getting to have good conversations with people.

I joined Events and Adventures because they have activity days. I've attended events twice a month since December last year so that totals 20 events or so I attended. I did the Australian trip, I watched the Blue Angels thing, I did the whale watching, the Tuli Garden one which I liked, and I've been to their New Year's Eve party. I've made friends through Events and Adventures.

I like the house parties, the party boats and volleyball with Events & Adventures. I've attended about 25 events in 5 months. The Halloween Party was my favorite. I met my girlfriend there. Events & Adventures is new and spontaneous.

I joined Events and Adventures because it wasn't really a dating service but that a way to meet people. I had no idea how does it worked so I was a little apprehensive during my first event with them. But I started to understand how the club worked. So far I have attended two events. I talked to a few other people during one of the events. I wouldn't call them friends but would recognize them again if I saw them. I exchanged phone numbers with the event coordinator at the one I went to on Wednesday and had a long talk with her.

Events & Adventures were all over the radio. I was interested in the opportunity to get out and meet people. I was a little apprehensive before arriving to my first event but everybody was very friendly. I went to a comedy night and I’ve gone to the premier club event. I did a movie night. But bowling was a lot of fun. It was my favorite. I’ve met new friends but still in a getting-to-know-people mode.

I heard about Events and Adventures on the radio. It is what I’m looking for, a bunch of singles doing what they like to do. I was going to their event almost every night for the first several months. I participated in nighttime kayaking, bike rides, wine tasting, beer pong, going out to eat for different events, movies, almost all. I like the hiking trips the most. I have made lots of friends and I am dating someone that I met there. Events and Adventures is something I could recommend. I don’t know if there’s anything else like it. It is great and exceeds expectations.

I first heard about Events & Adventures from a friend. I didn’t know what to expect before arriving at my first event. It’s great and I usually go to one at least once a week. My favorite is the Conroe party boat. It was during summertime. I also participated in the Game Night. I’m having a good time. I have not found a significant other on there yet. I signed up for a year at first and then I signed up for another year so I’ve been happy for it.

I was out of the Navy and all of my friends either moved away or got married, and I just didn’t have anywhere to go and then heard about Events and Adventures. I figured I’d roll the dice and do a three year program. When I first started, I was doing about two or three a week and now I’m doing two a month. My favorite is the mingles, the outdoor activities where it involves people doing something, like a movie in downtown San Jose and we’d all get together and hang out.

I'm a single dad in an area where I have no other family, and I was just interested in getting involved with people of similar age, just to do fun activities so I joined Events & Adventures. I've been close to 50 events and pretty much enjoyed every one of them. Volleyball is great. It's a little cold now to play volleyball but we did have a great championship. Games night is a great night. There's something different for everybody every day. Compared to some of the other groups, the cost may be a little bit higher; however, they do give people a variety of things to do and there is a pretty large age group and gender that participate in all activities. They give you the opportunity to get out and do things that you haven't done before.

I first heard about Events & Adventures from a co-worker. I haven't done any of the trips but I like the sporting events - volleyball, soccer and kickball events. The experience has been very positive.

I was looking for a group of people that are in my same age bracket and stage in life so I joined Events and Adventures. I felt a little nervous but mostly excited before arriving at my first event and ended up having a wonderful time. I've been with them two months and attended an average of two to three events a week. My favorite so far has been volleyball night because it’s so highly attended and there are a lot of the same people, so I started learning names. I've also attended Trivia nights. I have made a couple of new friends attending those events. So far it’s been very positive and all of the people have been extremely friendly. Overall, it’s an enjoyable experience.

I moved to Houston from Columbus, Ohio and I needed a hangout with a friend. I wanted to make new friends so when I heard about Events and Adventures on the radio, I signed up. I like meeting friends so I'm a little bit excited meeting new people. I've gone to 10 events already, at least twice a week and most of the events 5 times a week. Sometimes I go even on a Monday off. Like on Tuesdays, we have a volleyball so I try to go every Tuesday. Even if the weather was cold last week, I even went there and I played volleyball. My favorite event is dancing, like country dancing. Through Events and Adventures, I had a chance to meet with all kinds of people, people from all over the world. It's more interesting and I would like to go to more in the future. It's more exciting and it's enjoyable. It's worth it.

Fantastic. I really like the sleepover at the Monterey Bay Aquarium. The big parties are fun. I was just at the Halloween party and I'm looking forward to the New Year's Eve party. I like the fact that I'm making so many friends and meet a lot of people.

I was interested in the activities that I can do around the city, the opportunity to know places and people around the city. So far I have attended about five events. There was a game site and I went to a dinner event. I've also been to a Halloween party. I was supposed to go to a Croquet thing but there was no one there. I haven't been thoroughly impressed with Events & Adventures and it's been slightly disappointing. The main reason that I'm not really pleased with their service is that I expected a higher quality of clientele in the group. I expected more professionals and educated people. They said that they're selective but I've been very disappointed at the other clientele in the group.

I was nervous and unsure before arriving at the first event (which wasn't really an odd event but odd people lol). But everybody was friendly and welcoming and made an effort to talk to you and bring you into the fold, so it wasn't all that uncomfortable. On my second event, I met a friend who brought me into her circle a little bit. She has three other friends from Events & Adventures that she hangs out with. Before joining E&A I only talked to one or two of my high school friends back here because I had just moved back home after being away for about six years. Now I generally go out and hang out with those four or five people. That's my social network ever since... On Sunday, we're going to the place called "Take Your Plate." It's like a pottery kind of thing, and then there will be Trivia Night on Monday.

I heard about Events & Adventures in an advertisement. I wanted to get out more, do more events and socialize so I joined the club. I like the activities where we do sports and the events where there's an opportunity to socialize, where there’s a chance to do something new. This upcoming weekend I'm going to several group activities, one is the beach and walk/hike, and another one with some kind of social component into it.

Events and Adventures is a no-pressure way to meet new people. I was a little nervous arriving at the first event but it changed after as it was a very relaxing environment. I've been with them for a long time. I like the 4th of July party and the Halloween party. I also did the trampoline dodgeball, numerous different bar events, and bowling. I have made some really good friends. E&A is a lot of fun, and they have good people. Everybody involved in the club is just good, solid people. You don't have to worry about the weirdo factor. They do an excellent job of screening people and that’s a big key. It’s extremely fun.

Events & Adventures is a great group. I gained a lot of experience, had a lot of fun with them and their events. I've done a couple of beer runs and Ultimate Frisbees. I'm about to do a Skateroom in about December. They have great parties. It's fun and enjoyable.

I joined the club because I was finishing school. I've spent five years going to school part time, working full time and raising two kids. It was time for me to have a social life. I was nervous before I arrived in my first event. It was a little uncomfortable, but the 4th of July Cruise and the Halloween party were fun. I don't go for major trips because they are too expensive. I go to events like bowling, party, game nights and the football games. We had coin dancing that was super fun. I like the people, but none of them I would consider a friend. But I am happy with Events & Adventures so far.

My lifestyle needed changing and Events & Adventures was the first thing I heard about. I kept hearing it on the radio for months and finally decided to try it. I was quite nervous before arriving at the first event. It was a house party and there were lots of people and but overall it was good. After I arrived, I got more comfortable and started talking to people. I just kept coming to more events and it has gotten easier. I'm 6 months into it and have been going to about 5 events each month. I signed up right before summer, so we did the salt river. I've done the salt river about 5 times this year and it's my favorite so far. I've also done fencing, happy hour, pool, trivia nights, and volleyball. It's a great way to go out and meet people. I would suggest it for my friends too. I'm absolutely sure getting out there and doing things is the way to meet people. I love it - good time.

I've only been to four events so far. One event was like a mingle at one of the local bars here in Minneapolis area. Events & Adventures has been all right. I've met interesting people and have had a couple of good times.

I joined Events & Adventures because I wanted to meet singles. It's so hard without going to the bars by yourself. I felt good after talking to the people and knowing what to expect during my first event. My favorites so far are the moonlight kayaking and the bonfire. I also participated in an event where they had bruschetta at one of the places. I did not care for the place called The Yard - parking is horrible, its arcade and bar mixed together, it's just so hard to talk to anybody with everybody crammed in a small space. The volleyball is okay. I've done the water jet board and I really enjoyed the Halloween party. E&A beats going out to any of the events by yourself.

Someone brought Events & Adventures to my attention back in April. I just got a divorce back then and I needed something to do so I decided to join. So far I have attended 20 events and my favorite was the horse ride by the beach. Would of been romantic if I had a date lol but that was pretty cool. You would do it again with a group or with a date. Obviously I haven't met a significant other yet but I’ve made a lot of friends. The only problem that I noticed is that it was getting to be too many repetitional things and I’m not speaking of events, I’m speaking of people. Just about everything I go to, they’re there. I’m wondering, are we getting anybody else or that’s it? But other than that I think it's been great... a new beginning for those of us who have been there. For those who have not it's equally as fun. Just take your time, enjoy what's available, get to know people or you might find someone or something you will enjoy. In time, it gets better. Like when I arrived at my first event, it was awkward at the beginning because most people who were there were in their 20's, I'm 52 years old. It was like being with my teenage daughters. But little by little, people started showing up, better positive thinking, you get your group age-wise or interest-wise.

Having a chance to try new activities that I normally wouldn't, and meeting new people at Events and Adventures has been great. I moved to Chicago and part of the reason I joined was to meet new people. It made it much easier. Some of the events are random things like trampoline dodge ball and trapeze classes, that I never would have thought about doing but they're a ton of fun. The only thing is I feel like Chicago is such a new office. There's a little bit more turnover in the office so that doesn't create super consistency. But other than that, I love it and I do recommend it to friends.

I've had an awesome experience with Events and Adventures. I absolutely have loved making friends. I'm a host now, so I must like it coz I wanna host them. I would do it all over again. It was probably one of the best decisions I ever made. I recommend it to people all the time.

I'm kind of secluded at work and it was nice to think that there was an opportunity for me to get out and go. Events and Adventures looked like the type of group that you can do activities so the activity part of it appealed to me. My first event was volleyball and it was a great experience. I joined at the end of August and I've been to about 15 events. I liked the horseback riding but it was short; I would have loved a longer session, but it was memorable. The Games Night was a lot of fun. It made me feel involved in something and there wasn't a whole lot of pressure to find someone to talk to, to just kind of wander around. Volleyball is always a great activity, not just sitting around and drinking; you're getting out there and moving around.

What drew me to Events & Adventures are their activities. I was a bit anxious arriving at the first event but it went pretty good. I have now attended around 20 events. My favorite activities are football and soccer, movies, and the Monday Mingles. I've made a few friends. I'm not much of an outgoing person but it is good. I really like Events & Adventures. They give equal opportunity to everyone. It's exciting.

After a very long marriage I’m just getting out of, I got bored and wanted to meet new people and have fun, instead of sitting in my apartment so joined Events and Adventures. At my first event, I was excited to meet new people, see if we'd have fun and go from there. I’ve been to 7 events and my favorite so far is the Halloween party. I’ve also participated in the cosmic bowling that was fun and Postinos, which is a wine and bruschetta bar that was nice and volleyball, which I usually do on Tuesdays. I have made a lot of new friends and I’m looking for a significant other. The people are really great, the hosts are varied, and everybody seemed upbeat and all on the same page. It was an awesome good time.

Some people told me about Events and Adventures and I looked into it. I’m going through some difficult times right now. I’m separated from my husband, so I’m for meeting some new friends and do some activities and go back to my old me. My first event was a camping trip and it was great. I have attended about ten events and so far my favorite is whitewater rafting. I have made new friends, but I’m quite surprised that not most people show up at the event. I see on the website how many people are supposedly on Events & Adventure. I’m wondering why most people don’t attend the events. But if somebody is looking for fun and going to some events, their planning is nice.

I have attended 30 events, and I’ve participated in volleyball, pocket theater, and party boat things. The pocket theater is my favorite. I have made new friends, and Events & Adventures is good for meeting new people.

So far, I like Events and Adventures. I like getting out there and doing things that I wouldn't normally do.

I had been on a lot of dating sites and there was one that I paid for but then I thought I’d rather pay to have some fun and go out and meet some people instead of this virtual dating. It was just pointless to me. The experience with Events & Adventures has been great. I’ve enjoyed the club. I haven’t really been able to go out and experience it, but the four that I’ve been to so far, I’ve had a total blast every time I’ve gone. It’s a matter of getting some of these other family issues out of the way and then I can start going wherever.

What really interested me about the club is the opportunity to learn more about the city, the state and meet new people. I've attended about 4 or 5 events with them. I’ve done bingos and theater showing. My favorite so far was the hockey game. One thing that’s showing up: it started to turn to more like a clique party, so a lot of events where there are some new people. The “veterans” to events just kind of group up and do their own thing.

I didn't have a lot of single friends and signed up with Events & Adventures because I wanted things to do and to meet people. I did not want to worry about feeling awkward going out. My first event was not bad because I had gone to their office and met a couple of people and they're in the club. They were so nice, so I was pretty excited about it. So far I've attended 50 events and trips. Their New Year's Eve event was a really fun one. It was an overnight at a hotel. I've done volleyball, whirlyball, going out to dances and clubs on weekends, sleigh ride, and skydiving which was my favorite. I've actually not been to as many events in the last two months because I've been skydiving too much, but two of my friends from Events & Adventures also are now skydiving a lot and we're getting our licenses. Events & Adventures is one of the best things I have done. They offer amazing opportunities, great friendships and great people.

Events and Adventures is something different. I have attended only one event and we had a good time. I have made new friends and have an upcoming event tonight.

I was talking about doing some new things with a friend and he brought Events & Adventures up to me, so I went and checked it out, and gave it a try. What interested me most about it is that it's a singles club. The more you got out of high school, the harder it is to meet new people. During my first event, I felt excited, more curious than anything else, to see what it's gonna be like. I have attended six events now. My favorite one was the first one I went to - the Corn Maze. I've done a couple of the Happy Hours. This past Sunday, I did the Archery Shooting. There are a couple of Happy Hours coming up, and I'm signing up for those.

Going out and doing stuff seemed pretty interesting so I joined Events and Adventures. I have attended one or two events a month, and the Halloween party was okay. We went to lunch, county clubs and a lot of bars. I only go to stuff when my schedule fits it. But if you work 9 to 5, you might like it.

I was living in Saint Louis and Events & Adventures had radio ads going. And then when I moved here to the Virginia area, they had similar radio ads and I didn't know anybody. I was drawn to joining them because of the word adventure and after doing a little bit of digging on the organization, that was like the sort of thing that I would have fun doing. I was terrified before arriving to the first event. I'm introvert by nature but ultimately, it worked out really quite well.

I'm not happy with the club. For me it's a complete rip off for the amount of money they charge us because there is no event that we go to that we don't have to pay money for. And we pay all this money out of pocket. It's outrageous how much we pay to be in the group and if we're going to pay all this money for an event or for the group mainly, then there should be these plans that are covered completely by our money that we pay for the group. We also have a new director of events and she is not a people person. I don’t feel she should be in that position at all.

What interested me most in joining the Events & Adventures club is the fact that it's events put together monthly. I don't have to do any research other than what they have. I've been to a dozen of them and a few of the group activities I've participated in are hiking, bar events and trivia nights. And I've made new friends.

I've been a member of Events & Adventures since September 2012. I was looking for some events and adventures with people, just random people because you can’t always get a collective group of people to do things that you like. I've had been on five trips and due to go on round trip in a couple months. The E & A team, especially when Lauren was there, aligned with Alpine is just a winning combination. They just make every single international trip great. Its well-planned out, well thought out and we have a wonderful time with each other. I spent two weeks in New York and I think I did two or three events with the New York group while I was there on vacation. I've done brunches and hockey games and taste fine wine so it’s been a few events. Not as many as I probably would have liked but enough that I've had a great time. I've already recommended Events & Adventure to other people. Everybody’s impressed with what I do and they ask about it and when they ask about it, I’m like "yeah, Events & Adventures."

My experience with Events and Adventure has been horrible. We have attended some trips between Florida and Texas. We participated in dinner, movies and beach trips. In general, it's a very cliquey, exclusionary type group. Its a big sham and I don't have any use for it. They misrepresent what they are.

I heard about Events & Adventures through the radio ad, that they did exciting adventures and events. I’ve been a member for five years. I definitely liked the cruise that they did over the New Year’s Eve to the Caribbean. You could choose a haunted house versus an insane asylum that we went to in West Virginia. That was pretty fun. Also some ski trips, they were awesome. I have made new friends and found a significant other in the events. I’ve been pleased with the club, and have met my boyfriend through the club and other friends. Also, I’ve had a best friend join up because I got them into the events.

I learned about Events & Adventures through a colleague in my company. What interested me about the company is meeting new people. I felt hesitant arriving at my first event but this quickly changed. It’s easy to meet people when there’s such an event but I expected more. I’ve only done 3 events since I started which I’m disappointed in and I just had to cancel two because of business. I went to a meditation, a comedy club and one other event. I'm just disappointed in the selection of what there is. I want to do more so I need to get on there and get going.

Friends told me about Events & Adventures. I got interested because I liked the diversity of people of an age group that seemed to be similar to mine. I went to the horse-riding weekend in Virginia and a comedy show at the Kennedy Center. E&A is a great idea, I just haven't found the time that I thought I would.

I joined Events & Adventures because there is a lot of other single people in the area and I was tired of doing things on my own. I've been to around 50 events. I really enjoy the hikes and also when I went to a dinner or two which was really fun. It was like wine tasting so we had a good time. I had found a significant other at E&A but then we broke up and ended up - literally my subscription was up to it. Also, I fallen apart with the friends that I had started with because I go to grad school, at the same time I was working full time and so having a social life on top of that is pretty much nearly impossible.

I joined Events & Adventures so that I can do different activities I don't really get a chance to do and meet new people. I've joined quite a few events. I've joined the painting activity, trips to different restaurants and mostly bars. I liked a couple of the restaurant trips because I met some really great people and made some new friends.

I liked what I heard about Events & Adventures over the past few years through radio and occasionally TV. What interested me most about the club is that it's about getting to know people rather than dating purpose. I have attended about 30 events so far. There was a boat trip that was really fun and a couple other events that I really like. I met new people.

I joined Events & Adventures because I wanted to meet people, just to have a social life. I've joined random events whenever I can go. Some months I'll be proactive and some months I won't have time. I've been to different events in bars or restaurants. I only attend the low key activities, such as concerts. I don't do the strenuous type activities. I'm starting to meet people now because I'm starting to go to more events. But I'm not too impressed because just recently there hasn't been variety, and I'm not the kind of person that can always go to bar and drinking events. But I look forward to the diversity that it used to have before. I've been sending emails to ask them to do more diverse things.

I joined Events & Adventures because it was supposedly activities geared towards single people. I was curious at first as to how it was going to play out. I have attended around 15 events. I did a Fourth of July fireworks thing, a harbor cruise which was fun and really stands out. The other ones are just like regular get together with friends. They were all meet for drinks or meet for dinner.

I'm new to the area in Maryland. I learned about Events & Adventures just through Google search. I just wanted to find events in the area and it came up. There was a sample calendar of the various events and it seemed interesting. I've been here almost few years now so I wanted different things to do. So far I attended just two events. I did the hiking one that was in September and the wine and cheese pairings class. This month has been a little bit more busy for me, but there are a couple that I will sign up for this weekend, then I got a couple more for next month. I met a couple of good people, interesting people, at the events, but haven’t made friends or significant other.

I heard about Events & Adventures on the radio. It sounded like something that I would like to do because it's not a dating thing and it got me out of the house. I've been to about 20 events. One of my favorites is the wine tasting. I also did paint balling which I didn't like because that hurt. I've been to a cornstalk maze and it was fun. I've also gone to a lot of dinners, those were all nice. I went on a 10 mile hike and it was okay but I was exhausted.

Events and Adventures is terrible. It was deceptive. When I met people who also were first joining, they thought it was very deceptive as well. I understand it's for singles and everything, but maybe their ad shouldn't say the words, "It's better than a service." They promote the dating service, but then when people get upset about it, they said they're not a dating service. I spent a lot of money. I really wish I did get money back. I put it on hold, I never went back. I went to all the events cause my friend told me to go try at least six of them, and it was awful. I snuck out of two of them and it was the same people. They were very cliquish. I told people who were excited because they wanted to try it too, not to do it. It's not what you're looking for. It's false advertising. Take the dating part out of your advertisements; if that's not what it's about, take it out.

My experience with Events and Adventures is good so far. I first heard about them from someone at work. I got interested with the club because there are a lot of stuff in there that I thought were cool and I want to be a part of, and it was a good way of making new friends. I felt nervous before arriving to my first event. It changed a bit after I arrived. It changed more as I started going to different events. I’ve been a member for three months now and attended 20 events. Out of them all, I liked the icebreaker. I also enjoyed the Jazz Blue Festival and I liked the comedy. There was a stand-up comedy once. I’ve met a couple of people. Making friends isn’t an overnight thing but things are moving in a decent direction. And no, I haven’t met a significant other. They should try to schedule another skydiving event. I signed up for that but not many people signed up for it so it got canceled.

I joined Events & Adventures because I was new to the area, so I wanted to meet single people. My favorite trip with them was to Italy. I had a good experience from travel to the hotel. Everything was great. They did a great job. I also often attend dinners at E&A and I've made lots of new friends.

The events they organize are good. I met few people but in general, I'm having a hard time. I've been a member of Events & Adventures for two months now and I only went on two events. I did one brunch, and the other one was the comedy club. My biggest issue is that everything that's interesting that I want to go to are usually on days when I work. Really, really sad about it because first of all I'm spending money but not joining the events. This weekend the event was cancelled. I feel like I wasted two months already for nothing. But I would recommend it for people who have more time.

It's been two and a half years since I started attending events. I mostly like the ones where we go to sporting events or anything sports related. I wanted to try the zip lining but a lot of the times when I sign up they kept cancelling due to weather - that was the only bad thing about that. Anyway, I went to a lot of events, made lots of friends and met my boyfriend through E&A, which what got me interested in the first place - the prospect of meeting new people, because most of the people I've met were from work and I wanted to have a relationship with somebody that wasn't one of my co-workers.

I wanted to meet new people and do new things so I joined Events and Adventures. I was a little nervous during my first event but had a great time. Actually, I wound up going to two events on my first day. I joined nearly two years ago and have joined maybe 60 events. I like the casual dinners or performances. I went zip lining which was fun but terrifying. I just like hanging out and talking to people. I've made some friends but I only moved recently from the New York club to DC and just haven't been as active since I'd gotten to DC but I definitely had some friends that I would like to get together with in New York.

I joined Events & Adventures because it was like a social group and they didn't have like a big emphasis on the whole dating aspect of it. I've only been to two events so far, since this past month and October has been really crazy, family coming in, out of town and workdays (but I plan on getting back involved in November when things calm down). So the only comment I have is for events where you go to places that are a little more crowded, if it’s not in a restaurant or where they have reservations, maybe there should be a set area / designated area where people meet instead of trying to go in there and search for people, walking around trying to figure out who’s who.

I figured Events & Adventures would be a good way to meet people without the regular partying and all that. All my friends are married and having kids, so I figured I'd try it out. I was very nervous going to the first event but they have good ways of introducing people, getting you to know people right away to ease you into it a little bit. There's usually a lot of other new members that makes it a little easier just cause you all have something in common, that you're new. All the events I've been to were all pretty fun. But I haven't gotten to do anything of the stuff I wanted yet because of my work schedule. I joined the 20s and 30s mingles, went on the Arlington cemetery tour, one of the icebreakers and the Murder Mystery dinner which was fun. I've made some new friends and met some nice people. Most of the people seemed to be a little older than the range I thought it would be but it's still a lot of fun. It's been fun to meet new people, go and do things that you wanna do that you might not do by yourselves.

I liked the idea of Events & Adventures. It seemed to work with my schedule. I work crazy hours, 6 days a week so finding time and having something scheduled for me really made sense to me. Plus, since I travel a lot, I had the option of attending with different clubs in different areas around the country. That really appealed to me as well. During my first event with them, I was a little nervous, but after meeting with everybody and seeing how everything went, my nervousness went away.

I've been a member of the Tampa, FL Events and Adventures group for almost 3 years. It was outstanding and I met a lot of really nice people. The events were varied and interesting, always organized and fun, until about 3 months ago when the Event Coordinator left. Now we have multiple days each month when there are no scheduled events. The events that are scheduled are unorganized. For example when attending a new member mixer, we had no reserved area and no wait staff assigned to our group. Name tags were left on the table for the members to use and the host (who is also the event coordinator) was sitting in a booth far away from the rest of us. She did not mingle or even bother to introduce new members to anyone. This is not the kind of service I had come to expect from E&A.

I've been to approx 15 events/trips. My favorite was the Busch Gardens Howl-O-Scream last year. I've made some new friends and I got to go to places in a new area, learn stuff about a new area that I just moved to. However I wasn’t really terribly impressed with everything. I was expecting to meet mostly people my age and most of the events that I ended up going to, with the exception of the first (probably the first half of the events that I ended up going to) were all people that were way older than me. I did end up going to a few later on that were more my age, but I paid almost $2000 for the service and I ended up having to pay for other stuff on top of that. So I was kind of wondering why I paid them $2000. I could have joined meetup.com and got the same thing out of it.

I was new to the area and joining Events and Adventures was a good way to meet not necessarily significant others but other people with similar interests. It was something different other than online dating. I'm a young professional and trying to be active. It's a good way to do some fun events with not a lot of strings attached or no pressure.

I stopped attending events early on. I was disappointed in it. There was nobody my age. I met a handful people my age, but other than that, everybody else is significantly older than me. The activity that really irritated me was the one for 30 and under. Nobody there except for me and I think one other person were under 30.

I joined Events & Adventures because they had no pressure on the dating front and they allow me to do activities along with other people. They told me what to expect during my first event. They're very welcoming. I've been joining their trips and events for over three years now. I've probably joined a hundred or more. My favorites were the ziplining and the white water rafting. We also went for airplane rides. We've done sailboat racing in Annapolis and been to outdoor music at National Harbor. We also did a tour of the National cathedral. Through them, I've definitely made a number of friends. Joining the club was a great way to get out of the house and do something without any pressure. I'd recommend them to a friend.

A friend of mine told me about Events & Adventures. I was interested about socializing, like finding people in my area. I've probably been to six events. Of all the events, I like going to bars. I also went and got ice cream, and went to dinner. I have made new friends. However, from a social networking perspective, it's very expensive, which I'm okay with and comfortable with. However, I was under the impression that the money that we were spending would go towards reducing- or at least there would be an effort in reducing the cost of activities and they would try to get us specials for when we got there. None of that is happening.

Events and Adventures was recommended by a family member. When I first went to my meeting, I didn't know anything about it. I hadn't done much research. I didn't even know it was something I had to pay for. I thought it was more like a meet up type group so I went along to learn some information. And then I ended up signing up. I haven't had any experience with it yet. My job is so incredibly busy right now that I haven't actually gone to a single event which is frustrating because I've signed up and I'm paying for it and I don't have time to go to the event. I felt like the woman who was talking to me about the program was extremely pushy and I told her, "I don't really feel comfortable signing up for this right now. I'd like to go back home and think about it because I need to look at my work schedule and see how I could commit to make it worthwhile." And she said to me, "In my experience, you will walk out of here and never come back so if you don't sign up for it now, don't bother." And I found that was a very, very unpleasant experience and I ended up signing up because of the pressure she was putting on me, which is my fault, not exactly her fault.

I heard Events and Adventures from one of my friends. I went to about 20 trips and I wasn't very impressed with it.

Myself and my friend went to this group with the intentions of meeting new single people in our age group (40+). We had to go to an interview. Upon arrival we were separated and taken into two different rooms. We had two diff. females 20-30 y/o interviewing us. I was asked why I wanted to join. I was asked what did I do for entertainment, and what was I hoping to get out of this membership. I was also asked about what I did for a living and how much did I make a year.

I heard about Events & Adventures from an advertisement on the radio. What interested me the most about the club is to just go out to meet new people and do stuff. I remember I was nervous before arriving at my first event. But after that I probably attended about 20 to 25 events. I’ve done boxing, hikes, the mingles, and the premier nights. The best trip that I've done was the fly fishing. In the process I've made some new friends. Overall, I would say it’s been fun, being able to do stuff that I’d like to do with other people.

A friend of mine who lived in this area introduced me to Events and Adventures. I remember I was new to the things in the area, and I wanted to get out and meet people and learn about the area. I was nervous before my first event, but it changed considerably after getting there. Since I joined Events and Adventures I’ve attended probably close to a hundred events like pottery painting... so many different events. I had a great time at the Extreme Adventure Course up in Flagstaff. We've done a couple of events at the Improv Comedy Club - that was a lot of fun. And we’re going to the movies on Sunday.

I’m very pleased with Events and Adventures. I first heard about them on the radio. I was single and had just relocated from out of state. I was looking to meet people that wanted to do more of the same thing that I wanted to do and have the financial means to be able to do those things. Before my first event, I was curious to see what it was all about. I had done a lot of meet-ups before where you don’t know anybody and you have to make new friends and talk to people, so I wasn’t really apprehensive.

It's been a good experience with Events & Adventures so far. I wanted to get together with other people to do different activities, different from the usual dating site. I was a little bit nervous going to my first event but it was not too bad. That changed after the first few events when I got to know people. I've been to a couple dozen events. I really like the rope climbing and Flagstaff and we're doing the kayaking tonight. I've been going out to dinner in different places. We went to the burlesque and hot air ballooning. I wanted to go sky diving. I haven't gone to that yet but it's definitely on the list. A lot of the events are a lot of fun. There's always something to do at least a couple nights of the week that I'm interested in. And I've made new friends and found a significant other.

I was new to town and I needed somebody to get out and do stuff with so I joined Events and Adventures. They have a lot of activities and they usually have activities about every night. I've probably been to at least 40 or more events. This past weekend, we went to the Texas game. They had brunch and an open bar and a band. We went to the Astro game, the Dynamo game. We've had a New Year's Eve Party in Galveston. I went on a couple of trips with them. One was to Las Vegas. And then I went on another trip with them to Whistler, Canada. They have parties at the house once a month. They usually have get together and groups that do go out to eat or meet at bars or just do different things throughout the week. They do a lot of neat things. They always have something going so it's a good thing. I haven't had any problem with them. I will recommend it to a friend.

It's been 2 and a half months now since I joined Events & Adventures. The different events have been nice and I've been to 12 to 15 events so far - games nights, the new members' ice breaker meeting, and bowling, volleyball. My favorite was beach day. I made a lot of friends and I'm having a good time.

I was interested with all the different activities and events that they do, so I decided to join and felt excited attending my first event. Since then been on a lot of events and trips. They've all been FUN! I've done the Hike in Huntsville, Trampoline Dodgeball, Gang Night. I've done a lot of stuff... volleyball game, soccer game (that was last weekend). I would recommend Events and Adventures. I'm making new friends!

I got interested in the different events that Events & Adventures do. I had a good time at my first event and since then, I've been to around eight - sunset sailing, comedy night and river rafting. My favorite is the sunset sailing. If I can afford it, I'm going to try to do the river rafting. I've really liked the experience and made a few friends too.

I was single. I don’t like being single. That's why I decided to join Events and Adventures. Since joining the club I have made new friends and that's about as close it has come to finding a significant other.

Being single and being able to have a group of people to do things with is what got me interested about the club. Since joining, I've attended 5-10 events and out of the ones I've been on, the paddle boarding was my favorite. So far I've made 2 friends, 2 girlfriends. The only thing is that I feel like the age group is nowhere near where my age is. It's either really old or very young.

I try to do one or two events a month and found new friends. But I try to do things just once so that I am not always around the same people.

My experience with Events & Adventures was very good. I've been to a hike, sailing (my favorite), a horseback ride, and a trip to the zoo. The hosts have been excellent at helping people to mingle and to bring out the best in each other.

I met somebody who was a member of Events & Adventures and I joined because of him. I was very excited to go to my first event. In fact, Monday when I joined, I asked what event was at that night. But I was so excited for my first event Tuesday which was kickball. I've been a member for 9 weeks and been to about 40 events. Minus the big trips, I go to everything and Wednesday night volleyball is my favorite. I made dozens and dozens of actual friends and have added a hundred new people to Facebook. Jackie is our coordinator here in Dallas and does an amazing job at picking events that suit every age range. We have the happy hours that are more geared towards older members and events like volleyball or Tipsy Tuesday at the Quaker Steak for the younger people. There's a good mix of events for people of all ages and all fun levels.

I’ve been attending between 5 and 10 events a month. I especially like the cooking events - I would do that at least once a week if I could. Since I joined the club, I have made new friends, guy friends, girlfriends, and the guys are chasing me :) but have no significant other, not yet. The quality of the people is great. I can usually talk and hold a conversation so I love meeting all the different professionals. They're great people. What they do and where they are at in life, it's great. We also do stuff outside of the club, a little bit with the others.

During my interviewer I was deceived about how things are run, what their cost was, and through talking with people there we find that everybody has paid something different. Not to mention the aggressive salesperson relentless in getting a down payment when asking to think about it first. I understand the goal here but I can only think the binding contract is due to a large turnover. First off you pay ($30) a membership fee every month in addition to a monthly “member fee” ($100+) which all in all can end up costing you over $1500+ a year.
