I keep getting emails about a loan that is past due and I never recall ever having anything to do with Progressive Leasing. When I called the first time about it the guy I spoke to to said he was putting a request in to the supervisor stating that this was not mine and disputing it. And now I keep getting emails saying that my balance is past due. When I called again I asked that documentation needed to be sent to me supporting this loan and what it was for. The lady on the phone continued to tell me over the phone what it was for and that I bought an iPhone 12 in Georgia when I have never been to Georgia. Then she told me I had to go file a police report and send that to them. After I demanded that the documents and proof of this purchase she said that she would email over the documents.
After a week I still have not received the documents. And when I went to the police and told them about having to file a police report they said that that was the incorrect information. If I want to file a police report for fraud or anything that I would be filing the report against Progressive Leasing for fraud. I believe that these emails with no information except to call from Progressive Leasing is a scam. I will not pay anything to Progressive Leasing until they can provide me with the proper documentation I have the right to see. I will be speaking to the police further about filing a report of fraud against Progressive Leasing.

If I could give this place a negative rating I would. Their customer service sucks! They owe me a refund and I haven't received it yet. it's been almost a month since they so called processed it. All they keep saying is they have refunded it and it's on my bank. I sent bank statements showing I haven't received anything they still are telling me to contact my bank. I will never deal with this place again regardless of the retailer. It's not worth the headache. I reported them to BBB.

I have used PROGRESSIVE LEASING on several occasions. However, lately they keep saying all my debit cards aren't valid and only doing direct withdrawals from my checking account works when making payments online. However when I call and they run any of the cards, it ALWAYS works. They do this for a couple of reasons. A, on your payment due date, your payment is rejected and is now late incurring a hefty fee. B, They have to pay a small fee on ALL card transactions. This hurts their profit margin and they want every single penny they can get. Direct Withdrawal Payments cost absolutely nothing.

Progressive Leasing is full of baloney, this new overseas takeover, they have they're scamming us out of our money. You're being tax double for whatever items you purchase from the store, so your initial amount is way different. Once you leave the store where you made the purchase at. My experience was I made a payment. They told me I had 230 to pay the 90 days. Well, they took a lot more than what was due when I called. They gave me excuse about, they broke the payments down, and it was a bunch of bologna, but I got scammed, do not use them.

So, the Progressive Leasing application from start to finish was quick and easy. I have used them three times. I always do the 90-day lease; otherwise, you pay more than double the total value of your items within 1 year. Their customer service has always been professional, easy to talk to, and friendly and respectful. I highly recommend them to everyone.

I had a Progressive leasing account for years, went away for a while trying to come back to them, but they denied my application. Well, this leasing company from another country can go to hell. Never been denied before, so they must of made a change. I'll find somebody else then. 😡😡😡😡🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬😖

I don’t usually had a problem with Progressive but that fact that I made a mistake when I was purchasing an item at Lowe’s with how the payment was taken. I was told to use them since I was getting a washer and dryer that I really needed at the time, I agreed but then less than 24 hours I changed my mind due to getting the money the next day. I called and tried to pay off the amount asap thinking I would just end up paying the amount of the contact, but the added extra charges and taxes saying that the amount on the contract was before all this. I was very upset and will never be using them ever again, I understand charging me all that if I used the lease to 90 days or even past a few days but it was less than 1 day and they want to take advantage and add 10% interest to everything to get their money. I am really upset and this will be the last time I use them. I am deleting everything and making sure I never get talked into using them again.

Terrible company to lease anything from. The representatives are misinformed and tell you what you want to hear just to get you off the phone. I was lied to about my lease and paid more than the contract showed.

This company is a fraud and a scam. I chose to pay the amount for 90 days same as cash and it bounced because they also tried to pull put my monthly payment - which my payoff was placed BEFORE and it should have been included and bounced my bank account in the process. They said it wasn't and charged me hundreds of dollars in fees on top of it. Customer service is terrible - they can barely speak English or understand it and will leave you on hold for 15-20 minutes. I am still fighting to get my account closed after paying it off. Buyer beware - they will scam you out of every penny they can!

I had not a problem with Progressive Leasing. I needed laptop and had no money to get one and Progressive helped me. I knew going in that I was going to be paying way more than just buying one outright. Sometimes in life you need to do what you have to do. Everything went smoothly. Picked my laptop from Best Buy signed my papers and my computer showed up in a couple of days. I bad the option to go pick it up but I chose not to. I have seen reviews about people complaining about how much more you pay by using them but they are in the business to make money. Don't use them then. You know what you are getting in to when you sign the lease.
For me they were a huge help. I needed something and they were there to help me. The payments were manageable. I had bad credit and it sure beat trying to borrow money from someone. I would use them again and as a matter of fact, I am in the process of buying something else through them. I had a good experience with them. Also understand that people that are mad are more than likely going to blow off steam and write a bad review. People that had not an issue don't take the time to write good reviews.

2025 Progressive would be at least a 4 star review, but since they've taken away the ability to extend the 90 day purchase option for a month, forcing customers into an "early buyout" option instead (just to get more money from customers), It is now worth only 1 star. It also seems they have moved the customer service to an out of country company now as well, looks like they are selling out big time and becoming another big corporation here to suck up all our money instead of helping.

I bought an engagement ring using their services. I paid the ring off within one month. Three months later they emailed me and called me saying I didn't pay the ring off. I provided bank statements proving I paid them off, and they are still saying I didn't pay it off. Well now they are saying I owe them additional 700 plus. This is all about interest scam. They will ruin my credit because I will not let them scam me for more money. Don't use these guys!!!!!

At first I was grateful that someone was willing to help when my refrigerator went out. An $1,000 refrigerator will cost $3,000 when I'm done. The same as cash offer you better be ready to do. My early payout is more than the refrigerator itself. Lowes refrigerator which is not good, and no one wants to fix it. Really bad, my customer service is better than the Agency itself. Loan sharks are what they are and this will be the last time I use them.

If I could leave no stars I so would. I went into Best Buy and needed a phone. The phone was $750. They directed us so quickly, signing things through and got signed up for Progressive Leasing. This was a terrible decision. They constantly take random payments days in a row. Somehow charging me for late fees when I'm never late, they are automatic payments. When you try and adress these issues they basically brush it off and try and explain it as an accident. Or they don't see these payments. Their website is very misleading showing updates late. And somehow I'm ending up paying 2,000 for a $750 phone. No one is any help and I am conflicted on what to do at this point...

If I could they would get no stars, customer service is very poor and rude and you get people you can't understand and while dealing with you they have three other people and you have jump though fire.

I bought a pair of JVC clip-on headphones from Best Buy using a lease-to-own option through a third-party leasing company. The headphones were very uncomfortable, hurt my ears, and felt heavy. I had them for less than 24 hours. I returned them the next day and attempted to exchange them for a more comfortable JVC earbud version that was the same price ($32). Even though the item was returned within the return window, I was told I could not do a simple exchange because the purchase was made through a leasing company.
I was then told I would need to pay $85 to exchange or resolve the lease—despite the original headphones being returned and the replacement costing the same. This cost was not clearly explained at the time of purchase and appears to be related to lease fees, not the product itself. This experience was extremely frustrating and confusing. If you’re buying low-cost items, do not use this leasing company. Returns and exchanges are far more complicated, and you may still be charged even if you return the item quickly. None of this was clearly explained upfront. Best Buy needs to do a better job informing customers that leasing significantly changes return and exchange rights. Buyers deserve full transparency before agreeing to a lease.

I paid off my lease within 30 days and they will not remove my bank or card info. This is not legal to do. There is no way it can be. I want my information removed asap. They are telling me within 10 days, no way this is right

Hello, my name is Tracy and in September 2025 I walked into Best Buy needing a refrigerator and a stove. I didn’t know what was gonna happen but I was able to find a beautiful stainless steel refrigerator and stove. I did not have the money upfront to purchase it so they suggested that I go to Progressive Leasing for my payments it was extremely affordable. I met the 90 day pay off option, thank you Progressive for helping me in my new home purchase needs. When I tell you progressive was so professional, every step of the way they were there to guide me to help me and it was a wonderful wonderful experience and if I ever ever need anything again, Progressive will be the first leasing option that I will think of above the rest and I recommend it to all my family and friends. Thank you progressive for meeting my new home purchase needs.

Progressive Leasing gets zero stars from me. My husband and I went into Zales on 11/20/25 to update my ring for our 10-year anniversary coming up on 12/31/25. Talking about horrible experience, especially for my husband. Found the ring we wanted, there was a Black Friday sale going on so the ring was 30% off from the original price which brought the amount to 5 thousand something dollars, we trade in my ring and it was brought down to $3,911.50. My husband did go with Progressive Leasing because told him I went through it and it was a great option. Oh, I was wrong.
My husband got approved for 3,911.50 amount and had to put down $161 and some changes, but Progressive system would not let him. Progressive system kept saying he had option to put $161 or some other amount $1,100. I’m not sure exactly but it was messing up. The Zales employee Tiara called Progressive Leasing and stated basically what’s going with my husband account and explain the issue. Progressive stated it was messed up on their end and it will be fixed in 1-2 business days. I called Tiara from Zales to ask her if the issue was fixed because we didn’t see it on our end. She said no. We came back on Black Friday 11/28/25 the the issue was still going on.
This is the day my husband had to work and met me at the store Zales. Zales employee Tiara called Progressive Leasing to ask about the same issue. The employee from Progressive Leasing stated she can see the issue was fixed in the issue. Tiara asked why is it still trying to make Mr ** (my husband) pay $1,100. Progressive Leasing stated it shouldn’t and placed us on hold. This issue took an hour or more. Finally, she stated the issue was fixed and Mr. ** should be able to pay $161.00 today. I said what will be the payment every two weeks. Tiara from Zales asked the employee from Progressive Leasing, she said $245.56. My husband said, "Ok, I’m fine with that." Tiara hung with Progressive Leasing and processed the purchase.
After that, it was hell ever since. My husband received his contract through email which everything was finalized stated my husband have to pay $374 every two weeks, which was not correct payments was supposed to be $245.56. I called Progressive Leasing on 12/4/25, spoke with the supervisor, Crimson, explaining the issue.
She stated she will call Zales because they paid 5 thousand something dollars for the ring and they don’t see $3,911.50. I said how my husband wasn’t even approved for 5 thousand anything. It doesn’t make sense. She put me on hold to call Tiara from Zales, got the information from her, came back to me and said that Zales will have to make the changes. I said what?? Zales doesn’t have to make changes to anything changes are on your guys end. Crimson from Progressive Leasing told me not to worry, the changes will take 1-2 business days and please send the receipt you have with Zales. I said, "Ok" and sent the email to Progressive Leasing.
Tiara from Zales called and informed me that Crimson from Progressive Leasing was acting like she wanted me to tell her a different price. Tiara said, "I told her you guys did a trade in so that’s why the prices should be $3,911.50, not $5 thousand nothing." Tiara stated to me she is so sorry this is happening. I told her, "It’s not your fault." My husband waited; no changes was made. Called Monday morning, 8th of December 2025, spoke with Santiago, the supervisor. I explained to him what happened, he said the issue is supposed to be fixed on 12/10/25. I pissed off by this time because I feel like we are getting the runaround. I said ok, but if it’s not fixed, I’m going to be very upset. I’m just going to say the issue was never fixed.
I had to end up getting the manager from Zales on the phone Brandon. By this time, I have already have spoken to 3rd supervisors from Progressive Leasing about time I got to Jeff, which would be the 4th supervisor. Brandon from Zales and I spent over an hour with Jeff, the supervisor from Progressive Leasing for him to tell me the issue will be fixed tonight and I should get a call from Progressive Leasing. I stated to him that you guys always say that and it never happens and if it does, it’s a ongoing issue. Brandon even stated to "Can we speak with the resolution department." Jeff said, "No, they don’t take calls." Brandon stated, "Can we get this issue taken care of today because my customer has called you guys and there’s no resolution." Jeff stated, "We will definitely call Mr. ** about this issue." You think we got a call, absolutely NOT!
I’m beyond done with Progressive Leasing! I even called today 12/12/25 asking about the issue and this supervisor told me that they have $3,911.50 in the system, so the payment is the payment. He definitely got an earful from me. I told my husband we can just take this ring back. I told Brandon from Zales tell Tiara I’m so sorry but we will have to return the ring. Brandon stated, "We really don’t want you to since you're happy and he will reach out to the district manager about this matter." I told Brandon if wasn’t for us wanting to buy a house, my husband and I would get a Zales card because Tiara was patient and had amazing customer service with us. I have used Progressive Leasing before in the past and because my husband used them and this was his first time experience. They will NEVER gets business from me.

Progressive Leasing has allowed me to make large purchases that otherwise I would not have been able to make. I have used it to purchase furniture, electronics, even a hot water heater for the house. The process is easy and affordable payments are appreciated.

I became acquainted with this company because I ordered some furniture from American Signature/Value City Furniture. American Signature informed me that they filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy and would not fulfill my order and that I needed to call Progressive Leasing to cancel. (I have never received any furniture or a delivery date. I ordered 11/19 and they filed 11/22 and never told me until now). So I contacted PL via phone call. I spoke with "Joy" who would only ID herself as that refusing to give me an ID number and refusing to email me in writing. Joy told me to contact AS/VCF to cancel. So I asked if she would. She asked me for their number. A company they are partnered with. She came back on after about ten minutes and told me she couldn't help me and to call the furniture company again. Between these two companies, I have spent three hours trying to cancel a lease that is for furniture that will never arrive.

Progressive Leasing sucks. I was approved for a loan and canceled it because it wouldn't work out. I later tried to rebuy something different and they wouldn't put the money that I had originally was gonna get. They was saying I never received it acting like I didn't know what I was talking about. Do not use them.

Customer service is not good at all. I have used Progressive Leasing multiple times in the past, and never needed to contact customer service. Today I did regarding them all of a sudden needing extra verification, and it was a terrible experience. They requested 3 months of bank statements, a picture of my ID, picture of my social, and paystubs, and only by email. The won't allow me to present these documents in the store to a representative. I'm not comfortable sending all of this info via email.

They're a disaster. To apply, they ask for ten different things, and when you send them, they have so many problems: they can't see it, or you sent something expired, or it had to be written differently, or it didn't reach them, or a million other things. They seem to be laughing in your face, wasting your time. I spent a whole week sending information, and they were always missing something. It's a disgrace.

Company will not Issue a refund on canceled order. Every time I contact them I’m given a new reason as to why I have not been issued a refund. This company is a scam and a I would not recommend making a purchase through them.

I have a loan through Progressive Leasing that I’m currently paying on. I paid a few days before my loan was due with my bank account because their piece of crap system wasn’t taking my debit card, and they deducted twice— once on October 29 and another on November 4. I put a stop payment on the second payment with my bank, and it originally went through, but they deducted anyways. As a result, I am in the negative and not able to feed my family! I called to ask for a refund and they told me it would be 5 to 7 business days.
Fast forward to the eighth business day, still no refund! I called them again and they told me it’s actually 8 to 10 days, but 5 to 7 days for processing. Also, customer service is slower than the second coming of Christ! I have been on hold for an average of 10 minutes each time while they sort this out! Thankfully, I have a buyout option of a little over $400. I think I will borrow from my savings and pay it off and never do business with these people ever again.

I hope they shut down. They steal your information. Took all my information to “approve me” and then terminate the lease agreement while I was in the middle of signing it. Could not offer any explanation as to why they could no longer honor the lease and refused to provide more information.

Worst company ever. They want me to proof to them with my bank, Social Security, driver's license information because they don't think is me, they approved me before but now they need more information. I am very upset/ forget it. I will buy with my own money.
