I paid off my lease within 30 days and they will not remove my bank or card info. This is not legal to do. There is no way it can be. I want my information removed asap. They are telling me within 10 days, no way this is right

Progressive Leasing gets zero stars from me. My husband and I went into Zales on 11/20/25 to update my ring for our 10-year anniversary coming up on 12/31/25. Talking about horrible experience, especially for my husband. Found the ring we wanted, there was a Black Friday sale going on so the ring was 30% off from the original price which brought the amount to 5 thousand something dollars, we trade in my ring and it was brought down to $3,911.50. My husband did go with Progressive Leasing because told him I went through it and it was a great option. Oh, I was wrong.
My husband got approved for 3,911.50 amount and had to put down $161 and some changes, but Progressive system would not let him. Progressive system kept saying he had option to put $161 or some other amount $1,100. I’m not sure exactly but it was messing up. The Zales employee Tiara called Progressive Leasing and stated basically what’s going with my husband account and explain the issue. Progressive stated it was messed up on their end and it will be fixed in 1-2 business days. I called Tiara from Zales to ask her if the issue was fixed because we didn’t see it on our end. She said no. We came back on Black Friday 11/28/25 the the issue was still going on.
This is the day my husband had to work and met me at the store Zales. Zales employee Tiara called Progressive Leasing to ask about the same issue. The employee from Progressive Leasing stated she can see the issue was fixed in the issue. Tiara asked why is it still trying to make Mr ** (my husband) pay $1,100. Progressive Leasing stated it shouldn’t and placed us on hold. This issue took an hour or more. Finally, she stated the issue was fixed and Mr. ** should be able to pay $161.00 today. I said what will be the payment every two weeks. Tiara from Zales asked the employee from Progressive Leasing, she said $245.56. My husband said, "Ok, I’m fine with that." Tiara hung with Progressive Leasing and processed the purchase.
After that, it was hell ever since. My husband received his contract through email which everything was finalized stated my husband have to pay $374 every two weeks, which was not correct payments was supposed to be $245.56. I called Progressive Leasing on 12/4/25, spoke with the supervisor, Crimson, explaining the issue.
She stated she will call Zales because they paid 5 thousand something dollars for the ring and they don’t see $3,911.50. I said how my husband wasn’t even approved for 5 thousand anything. It doesn’t make sense. She put me on hold to call Tiara from Zales, got the information from her, came back to me and said that Zales will have to make the changes. I said what?? Zales doesn’t have to make changes to anything changes are on your guys end. Crimson from Progressive Leasing told me not to worry, the changes will take 1-2 business days and please send the receipt you have with Zales. I said, "Ok" and sent the email to Progressive Leasing.
Tiara from Zales called and informed me that Crimson from Progressive Leasing was acting like she wanted me to tell her a different price. Tiara said, "I told her you guys did a trade in so that’s why the prices should be $3,911.50, not $5 thousand nothing." Tiara stated to me she is so sorry this is happening. I told her, "It’s not your fault." My husband waited; no changes was made. Called Monday morning, 8th of December 2025, spoke with Santiago, the supervisor. I explained to him what happened, he said the issue is supposed to be fixed on 12/10/25. I pissed off by this time because I feel like we are getting the runaround. I said ok, but if it’s not fixed, I’m going to be very upset. I’m just going to say the issue was never fixed.
I had to end up getting the manager from Zales on the phone Brandon. By this time, I have already have spoken to 3rd supervisors from Progressive Leasing about time I got to Jeff, which would be the 4th supervisor. Brandon from Zales and I spent over an hour with Jeff, the supervisor from Progressive Leasing for him to tell me the issue will be fixed tonight and I should get a call from Progressive Leasing. I stated to him that you guys always say that and it never happens and if it does, it’s a ongoing issue. Brandon even stated to "Can we speak with the resolution department." Jeff said, "No, they don’t take calls." Brandon stated, "Can we get this issue taken care of today because my customer has called you guys and there’s no resolution." Jeff stated, "We will definitely call Mr. ** about this issue." You think we got a call, absolutely NOT!
I’m beyond done with Progressive Leasing! I even called today 12/12/25 asking about the issue and this supervisor told me that they have $3,911.50 in the system, so the payment is the payment. He definitely got an earful from me. I told my husband we can just take this ring back. I told Brandon from Zales tell Tiara I’m so sorry but we will have to return the ring. Brandon stated, "We really don’t want you to since you're happy and he will reach out to the district manager about this matter." I told Brandon if wasn’t for us wanting to buy a house, my husband and I would get a Zales card because Tiara was patient and had amazing customer service with us. I have used Progressive Leasing before in the past and because my husband used them and this was his first time experience. They will NEVER gets business from me.

I became acquainted with this company because I ordered some furniture from American Signature/Value City Furniture. American Signature informed me that they filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy and would not fulfill my order and that I needed to call Progressive Leasing to cancel. (I have never received any furniture or a delivery date. I ordered 11/19 and they filed 11/22 and never told me until now). So I contacted PL via phone call. I spoke with "Joy" who would only ID herself as that refusing to give me an ID number and refusing to email me in writing. Joy told me to contact AS/VCF to cancel. So I asked if she would. She asked me for their number. A company they are partnered with. She came back on after about ten minutes and told me she couldn't help me and to call the furniture company again. Between these two companies, I have spent three hours trying to cancel a lease that is for furniture that will never arrive.

The worst! Told me I was approved then denied me. I’ve been sending them documents for over 4 months saying they just need one more thing one more thing. Smh. Then to just deny me. Keep sending me to different people just to not help me.

Progressive Leasing sucks. I was approved for a loan and canceled it because it wouldn't work out. I later tried to rebuy something different and they wouldn't put the money that I had originally was gonna get. They was saying I never received it acting like I didn't know what I was talking about. Do not use them.

Customer service is not good at all. I have used Progressive Leasing multiple times in the past, and never needed to contact customer service. Today I did regarding them all of a sudden needing extra verification, and it was a terrible experience. They requested 3 months of bank statements, a picture of my ID, picture of my social, and paystubs, and only by email. The won't allow me to present these documents in the store to a representative. I'm not comfortable sending all of this info via email.

They're a disaster. To apply, they ask for ten different things, and when you send them, they have so many problems: they can't see it, or you sent something expired, or it had to be written differently, or it didn't reach them, or a million other things. They seem to be laughing in your face, wasting your time. I spent a whole week sending information, and they were always missing something. It's a disgrace.

Company will not Issue a refund on canceled order. Every time I contact them I’m given a new reason as to why I have not been issued a refund. This company is a scam and a I would not recommend making a purchase through them.

I have a loan through Progressive Leasing that I’m currently paying on. I paid a few days before my loan was due with my bank account because their piece of crap system wasn’t taking my debit card, and they deducted twice— once on October 29 and another on November 4. I put a stop payment on the second payment with my bank, and it originally went through, but they deducted anyways. As a result, I am in the negative and not able to feed my family! I called to ask for a refund and they told me it would be 5 to 7 business days.
Fast forward to the eighth business day, still no refund! I called them again and they told me it’s actually 8 to 10 days, but 5 to 7 days for processing. Also, customer service is slower than the second coming of Christ! I have been on hold for an average of 10 minutes each time while they sort this out! Thankfully, I have a buyout option of a little over $400. I think I will borrow from my savings and pay it off and never do business with these people ever again.

I hope they shut down. They steal your information. Took all my information to “approve me” and then terminate the lease agreement while I was in the middle of signing it. Could not offer any explanation as to why they could no longer honor the lease and refused to provide more information.

Worst company ever. They want me to proof to them with my bank, Social Security, driver's license information because they don't think is me, they approved me before but now they need more information. I am very upset/ forget it. I will buy with my own money.

This is the worst company ever! I was approved for 3000 dollars for Raymour and Flanigan upon looking on the site things were too expensive I applied for Ashley’s and I was approved for 3200! The very next day I went to Raymour and Flanigan to look around. I saw something I liked, which was a table. I was about to purchase it when I got on one from the company to help me. He said it had additional comments that I needed to contact Progressive Leasing. When I contacted them they said it expired after one day because I applied for another company.
It does not state anywhere that you cannot apply for multiple companies, but when I try to talk to some of them, customer service, she told me it was expired, and I would have to reapply, but this time I would have to provide a copy of my Social Security and three months of bank statements which I had already provided do not use this company. They also said at Raymour and Flanigan that for a purchase of $3500 I would have to pay $275 a week before the three months is up to pay off the product or else there would be additional charges. Don’t use them. I give them a 0 overall

Someone used my ACH number and I can’t get help to get my money back. It’s been 3 months. I’ve called several times and was promised a check. The check never came. Each time I call I get different information. They said they were going to mail check and it’s been 3 months. Still no refund. And it was 1025 dollars. I don’t have that money. They need to return my money.

The relationship with Progressive Leasing and I started off good in 2018. Here we are today 9/19/25, when I have one more payment to pay on my purchase that I got in June 2025. As I have one more payment to pay Progressive Leasing, I WILL NOT be given anymore of my money to them. In August 2025, I was approved for a certain amount, and attempted to proceed to make the down payment, BOOM- I was flagged for verification. No problem!!! I sent all the information in the first time and got denied after I was approved from Walmart, and apply for an amount lower than what I had applied for in the past. So, I applied again to get denied the second time.
Attempted to call requesting to speak with a supervisor, it was told to me. Just apply in 30 days, they’re not able to let me know why I was denied both times. I requested an email explaining the reason for the denial, and I get a generic email from their mystery Verification Department. When you call to request to speak with Verification Department, it's off limits. PLEASE take your money somewhere else, where you’re appreciated. Progressive Leasing doesn’t value someone that’s making payments on time without any issue. They want to deal with the ones that are defaulting on their payments so they can have a reason to harass the customers.

Progressive Leasing is the most fraudulent company ever! I’ve been making payments for some phones we got and the total to pay is 1800 with payments of 84$ a week. Turns out all the payments I have made are are not going to my 90 day plan but instead for a 12 month plan for 4000 dollars! Now they want me to pay the amount in full with the 800$ I’ve made not getting discounted from the 1800 so the money I’ve gave is in complete loss. Mind you I still have 45 more days for my 90 day plan so I’ve been giving money to who? And the answer is “it’s on the contract” when clearly it’s not if I’m complaining. Worst company ever.

I have spent over a year trying to apply with this company and they are still having technical issues. Sad company. Terrible service. Every time I call it’s the same excuse. “Please call back after 48 hours and you could reapply.”

Terrible Company. I would give 0 stars. I opened a account in late May 2025. I opted to pay off the account before the 90 day period. They sent me a Email with the payoff receipt but they still took out a payment the following Day. How can you take a additional payment on a account with a ZERO BALANCE??? Stay away from this company!!! THEY JUST PAID A LAWSUIT FOR 175 MILLION.

I actually love Progressive Leasing. I’ve been with them for over two years now and paid off about 9 Leases. I’m just finding out that today that none of those payment histories are being reported to the credit bureaus. Which totally not fair to the customers who make regular payments and it doesn’t improve our credit score, yet they make you submit your social security number during the application process. I also found out this week that the 90 day pay off option actually starts from the day your lease is approved. That’s not how it was initially explained to me from my very first. I was told you can sign up for the 90 early purchase option before the first payment comes out or by the expiration date of the 90 option expires.
Every time I sign up for it each representative tell me something different. This option should start when the First Payment Comes out! If a Customer doesn’t know that the 90 option is only available when you begin the lease they literally miss a month before the know! This will only leave them two months to pay it off when they could have made the payment when the lease opens up! And since you’re not reporting our payments to all three credit bureaus at least you can make the 90 day early pay off available to the customers whenever they want to use that service Any Time During their lease!
“Affirm” reports to all three credit bureaus. It’s time for Progressive Leasing to upgrade your customer service and treat your customers better where it’s beneficial to both you and your customers! I literally feel sad to learn these things about you after paying off multiple leases! I appreciate your concept of your business structure, however don’t be so greedy that it only benefits you in the end! Care about your customers! Don’t just give us products but give us an opportunity to improve our credit score too! This needs to change or you’ll lose customers when they learn that you’re not reporting our payment history to the credit bureaus.

I been done wrong by lot people but this company Lies through it all, it’s a different of not knowing what wrong you done but saying sorry to me and then turning around acting like you didn’t do anything then making feel like it’s normal, I can see why they used to messing up customers they steal and rip off customers, God will always allow someone to get them you take from one someone else get you harder.

Progressive Leasing will approve you for an application, request verification documents with personal information. The process takes a week to be denied with no explanation as to why you were denied. The customer service supervisors are advised they have no details as to why. Applying for a credit card you are provided the reasoning. I have used Progressive Leasing for many years, unfortunately they have lost my business due to a small error of their customer service. There is nothing in their guidelines that shows the information needed and why.

0 stars if I could. They are completely misleading. This is a leasing company and you will pay double if not paid in full by 3 months and you must ask for the early pay off option upfront. We knew all of this yet there were still hidden fees and charges. Split loans for things such as a 39 dollar installation kit for our dishwasher... Ended up paying 100 dollars for some hoses we would have paid cash for had we of known it was being split to get more fees and charges added on is. Insane. Never told about an initial 66 dollar charge to start the loan either. 526 dollars. Our loan is for almost 700 on one and a second loan for the install kit THAT'S ON THIS RECEIPT... FOR AN EXTRA 66 DOLLAR START UP FEE THAT WAS DRAFTED WITHOUT MY CONSENT and 40 dollars that we just had to pay off early to prevent being charged 80 (double) for it. This should be illegal.

Had Lowe's refund 10% back, showed on Lowe's side. They upped my pay off and won't give me back $90 dollars. Not fair. Report to Consumer Affairs. I paid off within 1 month time. Not fair. Will not do this again.

Progressive Leasing is a terrible company with unclear terms/conditions, poor customer service, a lack of accountability, poor processing, lack of transparency, and an obnoxious disregard for the value of its customers. This company should definitely be reported to the BBB (Better Business Bureau). My fiancé and I went to Value City Furniture to apply for a couch, mattress, and rug. We were approved for a lease with no problem and have made payments. We recently went back VCF to make a change on a Furniture item we didn't want. We making another payment on their mobile app (which is not user-friendly) when we had issues submitting payment. We tried submitting the payment three times without success.
The VCF salesman was even confused as to why thus happened, so he called Progressive Leasing and they asked to speak to us. We gave them the lease contract number and they told us we had to resubmit - get this... pic of driver's license, pic of us holding the DL, bank statements, pay stub payments. I'm surprised they didn't ask for a drop of blood. Anyway, we submitting everything the same day. It took these morons three days to respond telling us we don't qualify for a lease when we originally had one already established. Do Not Do Business with Progressive Leasing; they're a terrible company with zero accountability and customer value.

Well let me start off this way I've been using Progressive leasing for over 5 to 7 years and somehow sets Progressive Leasing is using offshore account as they say due to fraud and a new system that they have they declined me. Now I've been a progressive leasing for years as I said before and I went from $800 to $3,000 and now the offshore accounts that are dealing with Progressive dumb people. Don't know anything on what they're doing. They want you to send all the info copy of your driver's license. Bank statements. My bank statements does not have anything to do with Progressive Leasing and also they want a copy of all kinds of stuff and they want to talk about fraud. You would think that this is a scam. You can go buy a car and rent something and you don't have to pay all that they're asking for so I recommend if I can do a zero I would do it three times.
Will not recommend Progressive leasing to anyone. Even the people used to use I'm quite sure they know what I'm talking about so I wonder if Progressive leasing is losing a lot of customers. I did see that they're going through a lot of lawsuits due to whatever reasons but I will say I will not recommend Progressive Leasing until they stop dealing with offshore people that wants all your information to approve a loan to lease something for you. So hope you can read this and take note but I will tell you again it's not worth sending your information over the web and trying to contact them is a no no and also when you ask for somebody in the US is very hard to get so stay away from this company. I will say they used to be great until they start dealing with all sure offshore people. Hope everyone be blessed. Find someone else to lease your purchases. Thank you.

I have been using Progressive Leasing for years and have satisfied several leases with them. For my most recent lease, my final $50 payment bounced because I had to close the card due to fraud. I thought the payment cleared, I even got my congratulations email. They refused to honor the 90-day terms. Now they want to lock me in for another $1000, no way! I’ve escalated and escalated, if an exception should be made, this would be the reason - fraud! All too common these days and beyond my control! I was just about to get another lease with them but now I have to find a new leasing partner. I’ll continue to dispute and will never give another dime. I’ll never use Progressive again!

In an age of data breaches and concerns over cyber issues I would avoid this company. The requested information to establish my identity that ranged from account numbers, to forms filled out by my bank, to a PHOTO of my social security card.. all to be sent via email. Steer clear of this. You can secure a mortgage with less invasive information…. Absolutely insane.

Stay away, they will charge you extra $1000 to use their business. I only paid $1000 for my phone and they were charging extra $1000 to use their business. I spoke to a manager and she wouldn't waive it. NEVER EVER WILL I GO THROUGH THEM. I rather use someone that doesn't charge for their business.

In times of need, this service has been helpful. However, when I needed to move a payment from the beginning of month-to the end of the same month, this came with a additional 18% cost increase. So my payment started at $247 and because I moved the date- it's now $318. I shouldn't be penalized for having to change my pay date.

I regret ever getting roped in with progressive leasing. I needed a mattress because I was long overdue for one. The way they were represented was easy, online access, and able to either pay in advance or online. However, every time I go to make a payment it gives the same message either there is an issue with the system processing the payment or my card isn’t accepted. Mind you it’s the same card I set up for the payments when I applied. Every time I call it’s always a 30-60min wait time and there is no payment option over the phone it’s frustrated if I could report them to the credit bureaus I would because if I don’t make the payment you will report me but if I try to make the payment early you won’t take it. They are legit the worst to deal with.
