However, none of the confirmation emails came through, and when I tried to make an account or reset the password, it failed and didn't give me a reset link, but did lock me out of resetting again for 24 hours.     When I found olive, it seemed a lot better. There was a lot more that was covered, and it was a lot more affordable. I put in a quote just to see what would happen.     I spoke to Olive's representative because I wanted to understand how this whole process works, how long it provides the insurance coverage, and how many miles are required, before making a decision. The person that I talked to was able to explain what this process is, how it works, and what is covered as well as what is not. I asked if it also covers the services, but I was told that they do not cover services. For example, every 10,000 miles we have to get the car serviced. When I take it to a dealer, the dealer charges almost $800 for a service. They used to offer packages until 90,000 to service, but it's charging almost $1,100 now for that whole package.

    Other than that, olive has met my expectations from a premium perspective. But the main test of finding about a company is when something happens. Their customer support closes early but besides that, I have no complaints. I would also tell a friend that the ease of use is amazing. Signing up with them was so quick and everything was smooth.

    After receiving numerous emails and shopping for a policy, I signed up with Olive. I really like what you offered and thought it would be smart to get a warranty for my 2014 Volkswagen CC. Unfortunately, the day my policy became effective, my water pump went out and my car overheated. I am aware that it would look dubious or coincidental, I was equally surprised. But your adjustor, Kyle, was clearly not going to ever approve my claim, no matter what he was told. As my car overheated, I pulled into Discount Tires (a very trusted place where I bring my car for oil changes, and tires). They diagnosed my problem to be the water pump. The shop made a claim, and I am told Kyle was rude to the service people who contacted Olive.

    When I contacted Kyle, he asked me questions with a clear air of suspicion. I even joked with him saying "if I would have tried to pull a scam, why would I choose a $500 deductible?” You can listen to the recorded calls I am sure. He thanked me for my time and told me he asked the mechanic to send some pictures and videos. After viewing the video and pics, Kyle told my mechanic that my car must have had an issue before it was brought in because he saw antifreeze dripping and on the engine. Duh! The car was overheating and had a severe leak due to a malfunctioning water pump. Of course, the engine would look a mess. He told the mechanic he was denying the claim.

    My mechanic explained that the car was recently in for an oil change and there was no history of an issue. Kyle remained adamant – he was denying the claim. The mechanic asked if Kyle would contact me to tell me the news and he said, "No, you can tell him." Wow! I still have not received a declination from Olive or Kyle. I am still considering legal action, as your policy states very clearly, the policy is effective on the very first day. The customer service was less than impressive and caused me great consternation. I wonder how often your customers, who have the unfortunate experience of needing your insurance on their very first day, are treated so poorly?

    Olive's customer service was really good. They provided the information I needed upfront, and everything was clear. They also followed up with me because I talked to them back in August and they kept sending reminders. My factory warranty was coming towards the end, so I made a decision to go ahead and cover the car. I got an email from them prior to my final decision, telling me that if I signed up within a certain month, I would get one month free of charges. But then, there was a note on the bottom that said it excludes California, and I live in California. Initially, they made it sound like it covers California, but then I had to tell the rep, "Hey, were you going to give this to me because I live in California?" He said, "Well, I have to talk to the manager," and it seems like they made an exception for me to sign up.

    I purchased a car for my daughter and I was trying to get her a third-party warranty. A friend of mine suggested Olive and another company, but he said he preferred Olive because the other company wanted all the money upfront for the whole year. So, I contacted them and I was communicating by email with a gentleman named Saeed. He was very helpful and he sent me all the info I needed to know. It took me a while to make sure and decide I wanted to buy this warranty but I have a friend who works for BMW who heard about Olive as well and he said that they were a good company.

    Also, the car has low miles and even though we bought it from a BMW dealer, their warranty was really expensive. So that made us decide to go cheaper. We took the next middle type of policy from Olive and it's very fair and reasonable. It's a good coverage and she's happy with it. We also talked to a couple of friends about having that and we told them how much we're paying. So, Olive might get a lot of referrals from us.

    I got a service contract from Olive because I had an incident with my previous car and I was trying to be cautious this time. They did everything, like the motor oil, and then we were getting ready to go for a trip. On the way, we had an issue with the car and I filed a claim. They sent someone to inspect it and that person told the mechanic right away that our claim will not go through. The guy said that the oil was dirty. But they changed the oil so he was lying. And oil will not come out clear because it's going through the engine. Also, they were saying I did the claim too soon. But when I called about their package, the rep told me that 24 hours after I purchase, I would be fully covered. It just says it can't be pre-existing. Olive hasn't called me to get my side to ask me anything. How did they get to number one on the Better Business Bureau?

    Olive is very helpful. They are the cheapest and mainly covered the parts of the engine. Other people wanted the whole car. I didn't see the whole point of the whole car when I had insurance for that. The only time I did contact them was when I was trying to fix the engine issue and the person who was speaking to me was telling me that no one was picking up. So I called and got through really quickly. I told them, "Hey, this person is trying to call you. You guys aren't picking up." And they're telling me, "We're not doing anything. If he's calling us for something, it's probably on his end.". They fixed the issue.

    The young man from Olive followed up and got a hold of me and answered my questions. I purchased a contract with them, and it seems fine. However, one thing that I didn't find out until after the fact was that the extended coverage repair facilities are generally mom-and-pop type of garages. They don't have any brand names or dealerships, and it surprised me. If I'd known that, I may not have gone that direction. Because not that I think they're bad, but at times, one just wants to have the security that the people doing work on one's car really know what they're doing. Very few shops are full service, full automotive care facilities, at least in my area here in Southern California.

    The rep from Olive took a long time to answer my questions. We went back and forth a lot with emails and phone calls, so it took a little while. Then, the bad thing was I never got the actual coverage. The policy was never sent to me and I never got a confirmation that everything was okay because I never received anything in my email until I went to look up on my credit card. I called them and said that I never got a warranty but they surcharged my credit card. I never even got an email confirmation saying that I was accepted and my coverage begins at this date and time. On top of that, the only email I got was saying they were having trouble processing my credit card. It was because I put a stop payment to it. For the initial sign-up when I began this, it was the worst experience. But I signed up for a policy at a later date once I went through everything and had a conversation with one of their supervisors.

    I asked Olive about a couple of things and they were able to answer well. With Endurance, at first it was pretty good but I asked a couple of questions where the rep indicated that she was hands off of that. So, I didn’t feel that they were paying too much attention to helping me out in terms of understanding some stuff about their service.

    Overall, my experience with Olive was good. Their website is really helpful and informative. It has all the things that I would be looking for. The only thing is that after I connected with them, I kept getting lots of calls from them and from Endurance. I preferred handling everything online but the week that I looked Olive up, I must have gotten 30 calls. They could do with a little less calling as they were a bit too persistent. At one point, I considered even blocking Olive, but I realized it’s probably not a good idea.

    All was clear and fine up until I finished the checkout. There was a final page that said it was complete but there was nowhere to go after that. It basically just says "thanks" and doesn't say what to do or what to expect next. There is no prompt to create a login or ablility to view an order status anywhere. No emails came in for over an hour. It left me feeling unsure enough that I went and checked my bank account records. I saw the pending charge so I just waited. Eventually an email came in. The final page should at minimum tell you what to expect next. If a delay in the final welcome email is normal, then the system should immediately send a thank-you email as well and tell the customer the order is processing. All the reviews say how great the sign-up process is, but the few negative reviews talk about getting denied claims. I'm more worried about the claims part and this first experience is leaving me with a sinking feeling.

    About a month and a half after purchasing the vehicle, I had trouble starting it. Trying to figure out how to make a claim was a little difficult. It took me a while to figure out that I have to call and I can't do it online. I was told to find an ASE authorized repair place, which happened to be the car dealership right up the street for me, and I took it there. When I called to make the claim, the rep sounded very doubtful about me taking it to a car dealer and told me I have to go to a repair place that has aftermarket parts.     I couldn't get into the provider that I originally wanted because my car was past their mileage requirement but Olive was able to cover it. Signing up with Olive was straightforward. As long as your car is not having any existing conditions, they go with it. I went to take my car for an inspection and it turns out that there are three things wrong with it. Olive is only covering two. I was talking to the mechanics for the two things that Olive is covering, they recommended for it to be replaced as an OEM but Olive only does an OE. I’m probably gonna pay the difference to replace those two parts. One of the things that Olive doesn’t cover are the struts for the suspension so I’m paying that out of pocket too. I’m still waiting on the call back to see how much I may end up paying. Hopefully, it’s not a lot. But for the most part, Olive seems pretty good.

    I selected Olive Auto Warranty because they gave me a good offer. I could have got it a lot lower. But their sales rep was good. She explained herself well, did everything she told me she would do, sent over quotes. We talked on and on. So, we weren't phone tagging each other. She wasn't pushy. Also, I like the idea that I can stop the coverage at any time. Something I don't like and hate, I could stop it. And the coverage that I got was everything covered up on my truck. It was $56 and something for three years.

    Olive gave me some time to think, and the rep sent me an email with some quotes listed. They had three years, this amount of money and another at 56, powertrain, a 36 and one for 50,000. The breakdown was good to me. Seemed I was getting more bang for my buck when I did that powertrain warranty with everything covered. I was offered three of them but for lower amounts. I was comparing all three of them and the one that I got covered overall was my better option. I wish I can just have a six or five-year plan rather than three. Three is okay but sometimes I would have my car for six years, sometimes five. But I can't renew.

I called them today to inquire as to why when I looked into my account, it says that my second month is due on November 2nd. I asked them, “Shouldn't the second month be due on you guys?” But they told me no, and that I have to prove that I saw that promotion. So they're calling me a liar and I'm not enjoying that at all. So I'm not sure about them because I shouldn't have to prove that. It’s their company and their promotion. They're the ones that should honor it.

    Looking online, everybody said that Olive was the best. I did everything online when I signed up. There was one thing at the end that I didn't realize in the beginning. They said that if anything happens that was a preexisting condition, even if you didn't know, they won't cover it. I didn't really appreciate that. That's the one thing that would probably cause me not to continue with them because that's unfair. If I don't know, how can you say it was preexisting? I did not see that until I already paid. If I had seen that, I probably would not have paid. I would have never gone with them. The purpose of the insurance is to cover you for things that might crop up. If you were telling me that you're not going to pay because it was preexisting, and I didn't know it was preexisting, that doesn't make sense to me.

    I liked the idea that it's not a contract with Olive. I can stop it ad quit paying anytime I want. The other place wanted me to pay for a contract where I was stuck in it for five years. The reps at Olive also took the time to explain the coverage. I did take the 500 deductible which is about right for a car. The way it was explained to me was that it covers everything except wear and tear. They were very respectful. I asked them dumb questions, but they answered all my questions. The only complaint I had was they didn't send me the welcome package right away. I looked at my credit card and that was how I saw the charge. But when I called them, they were very polite and I had the policy within five minutes in my email. I was very happy with it. I don't know how the service actually is but it makes me feel better to know that I got something there. My major concern was to have the electronics covered because there's no way I can fix it. I just replaced a motor in my wife's truck and having the engine replaced was $7,000.

    I was gonna look at at least two different warranty companies and while I was pending my decision, Olive was very responsive. I told the rep my primary concern was the electronics in the car and I wanted to make sure that that was covered. I told him I wanted bumper-to-bumper coverage and he said yes. I asked if he could send me a hardcopy and he did. But when I got the policy, under exclusions it says electrical. I’ve called twice and left a message for him. The follow-through is iffy. He has not responded so I called the third time and all I got for an answer is Olive has the best coverage available. That doesn't tell me why is electrical under exclusions. If electrical isn't covered, then I’m on to someone else.

    I filed two claims with Olive. The first experience was awful and it had me really stressed out to the point that I had to just borrow some money to get my Hyundai 2017 fixed. Olive took the claim and looked into it. They approved me then they didn't approve me. A man said he was going to get me approved again. The last time, Olive denied the claim because my mileage had little numbers off. I didn't even have my car with me to give Olive the mileage because it was in the shop. I called customer service and changed the mileage but they still didn't approve the claim. With the exception of the claims department, Olive's other department was fine. Now, I have my X6 BMW in the shop and I have to wait and see what's going on with this.

Olive has a lot of places that you could go to and I liked that. So far, I have used the policy. When I braked, I would hear noise in the back. It was something that was new and I had it checked out. It turned out the caliper was messed up. I would recommend Olive. You get peace of mind and you get to choose the different deductible amounts.     I bought a diesel truck, and a lot of the extended warranties that I found didn't cover all the things that go with it like the depth system and the particulate filter. The representative at Olive told me that they have ones that are more tailored to my needs, whether or not I drive a regular car or unleaded one. He had all the answers. He took the time to where we both got on the website. He walked me through the website on things that weren't covered and helped me make that decision based on my own researching. The customer service that he did, and what was covered, made me go with that direction.

    What I really like about it is it wasn't one of those warranties that's like, "You got to go six years, 185,000 miles. It's going to cost you $4,800." With this particular one, they will warranty my truck up to 185,000 miles, but it'll only be three years, and I have the chance to extend it. For example, on the 2019 one-ton Ram, I paid $1,400 for a three-year extended warranty, up to 185,000 miles. Three years from now is going to be a little costlier because there's going to be more wear and tear on the engine, but just to have that peace of mind, 1,400 bucks, why not? That's a no brainer to me because a fuel filter in an oil change is roughly around $400 to $500.

    Olive offered me packages and told me what I needed online. They allowed me to buy the poly by myself without having to deal with somebody who would try to annoy me. Olive marked out my deductibles and according to their deductibles, how much the policy would cost. There were three packages. There was one with the powertrain and there was the combined one. It was really simple and exactly what I needed. Having an extended warranty is very important. I make good money but not to where I could just go out and buy a new vehicle or replace a transmission.     I went on YouTube and a lot of people did a lot of reviews. I decided to go with olive and everybody was pretty decent. They got everything done and answered the questions I needed to be answered. I got the basic contract where the deductible is $500 and everything was straightforward with my application. It’s also a good deal overall. But 9 times out of 10, nothing's going to really happen to it. I had my truck go out and it cost $309 to get it fixed, so I paid out of pocket for that. It was cheaper than the deductible, so there was no point of paying $500. But the warranty is important because I got a factory warranty up to 60,000 miles and my bumper-to-bumper just went out 3,000 miles ago. It's a fairly new truck but the unexpected stuff could happen.

    I was looking for an affordable warranty. I dealt with an Olive representative and that was fine. I called yesterday and I asked the guy if the policy covers a part of the engine, like if some part of the engine was leaking oil, and he said they didn't cover that. But the engine is one engine. We thought the policy was going to help us. We paid a good amount of money so we didn't have to pay a big deductible. Now we have to pay out of pocket and yet Olive still kept the money. We're not satisfied at all. Olive didn't cover what I needed it to cover. I cancelled the policy.

    I had a warranty on my older Saturn Vue and it was a godsend at times. Last year purchased a pre-owned Audi convertible and I didn't want to take any chances.
