Warning light goes off... No manual to find problem, Called Triple A for road side assistance- did not know infiniti provided this service and i have paid for it(found out from tow truck guy) Now tow truck guy does not know what warning light means..so i call a friend who has the same car but has a manual and we identified the problem as low tire pressure. Now Triple A guy tries to remove tire can do it, not key to unlock rim lock.

Called dealership did not get anywhere and requested sales manager and he hung up on me MIke Vianna...Called customer Infiniti national customer serivce and did not receive resolution and was told by customer service agent my issue does not qualify for a supervisor. That was the last straw...now after explaining to National Customer Service my issue with now only having 4 nuts on my car not 5 ...was told you dont need all 5. At that point I have parked the car.

On 9/03 I took my '98 Infiniti Q45 to INFINITI SOUTH BAY 3035 PCH Torrance, CA 90505. The airbag light was flashing. At that time they said I needed to replace the left drivers side unit assembly. On 12/04 I went to CERRITOS INFINITI for service and because the airbag light was again flashing and was told the same airbag unit need to be replaced - I declined the service. On 4/05 when I took my car in for service at CERRITOS INFINITI the subject came up again about the airbag. I asked the service representative, Irwin, if it was the same bag that had been replaced 9/03. He verified that it was the same assembly unit.

I asked how could the unit go out and has never been deployed? His only response was that the first one was replaced at about 142,000 miles and that I now have 178,000. But that is unacceptable. I dont understand my I have to continouly replace an airbag that has never been deployed. I have never had a problem with airbags before. And this is the same unit - so there must be a defect or it was never installed right (in 9/03) in the first place.

I have been trying to find some solultion with Cerritos Infiniti. Who in turn referred me to Infiniti Consumer Affairs. They said that the warranty is for 12-months and its financially my responsiblity. Or I could just disconnect the airbag. Which is not a solution as far as I am concerned.

Infiniti G35 2003 model - purchased with 5000 miles on odometer in October 2003. In 2004 received a message that the brakes/rotor design for these models were defective and that Infiniti would replace in 3 years or 36000 miles whichever came first. My car's brakes started speaking at 36600 miles. When I called my dealer (above) they told me no way - already past the time limit, even though I bought the care with 5000 miles on it (which can be substantiated on my purchase papers). They then told me to call the Infiniti 1-800 number to see if they would extend for me.

Called the 1-800-662-6200 number and spoke to Jamie. She told me absolutely no extensions on the program (not a recall). After much talking back and forth (Jamie was not very courteous) I asked to speak to the supervisor. She said there was no one but her there. i finally heard her manager in the background tell her to take my complaint on file.

After the above with no recourse with Infiniti, I went and had my brakes done at a local vendor. $528.36 later, I got my car back. If Infiniti is so concerned with customer satisfaction, they should extend this free replacement to all owners with a reasonable amount of mileage on their odometers. I have made recommendations to others that the Infiniti model is not something I would buy again.

I recently purchased a brand new 2005 G35. When it reached its 4k miles my first incident was the srs air light that lit up on my dashboard. I took to the dealer to get it looked at. They replaced first the driver's side airbag module. A few days later then light came back on. I then took it back were this time they had the vehicle for over a week because they had to send an Infiniti specialist. The fixed the problem and replaced body combo switch (spider cable behind airbag). Well I was promised after this that I will have no more problems.

Well it’s been more than three months and once again the light came back on. They have had my car since April 17, 2005 and now they are telling me that they will not have the car fixed till the end of May. I am very upset and furious. I am still making my car payments on a vehicle which I don’t have. I also have navigation for business use and I can’t even utilize it because I don’t have my vehicle. The most important thing is that I don’t feel safe in that car anymore. I don't know what else to do.

I have a 2003 Infiniti G35 sedan, with automatic transmission. At 20,000 miles, the front brake pads had to be replaced. I was contacted by Infiniti, and told that they recognized there was inordinate wear on the braking system, so they would reimburse any repairs that had already been made, and would extend the warranty to 36,000 miles for brakes and rotors. When I took the car in for its next service, the dealership replaced the brake pads all around (although I had pads with only a few thousand miles on them), and machined the front rotors.

Now, at 46,000 miles, the car needs new front pads and rotors, at a cost of $500. The fact that Infiniti reimbursed me for the first repair and extended the brake warranty does not negate the fact that the car has an obvious break wear problem, and this will significantly impact the cost of maintaining the car over the years. They need to retrofit the brakes on 2003 and 2004 models, as they have changed the brake system on the 2005 models.

I am faced with an immediate $500 cost, and face approximately $300 in approximately 20,000 miles, and the cycle will repeat for as long as I own the vehicle. In addition, my resale value will be impacted, I fear.

I recently leased a 2004 I35 Infiniti. Two weeks after I got the car it was vandalized in a sports arena parking lot. The window was smashed so the halogen headlights could be removed. The front end of the car was totally destroyed, the leather seats were damaged, the electrical system was destroyed and there was glass everywhere. As the parking lot cleared and we were waiting for the police to arrive we saw five other I35s had been vandalized as well for the cars headlights. No other type of car had been vandalized.

Upon investigation I found out that this is a MAJOR problem with the I35s and is a problem that Infiniti is well aware of. Infiniti did not disclose to us when we purchased the vehicle that there is a serious problem with the car. The NJ State Police told us that there are several I35s a night in that parking lot alone that this happens to and that it has been going on for over a year now. Infiniti is aware of this and yet they are selling the I35s to loyal customers and denying that they know there is a problem.

On top of the cost to insurance companies and consumers Infiniti is knowingly putting their customers in a dangerous situation. If Ford will recall over a million cars because of a faulty door lock wouldn't you think Infiniti would want to protect its customers from the dangers of this very violent situation that they are fully aware of.

My husband and I purchased a used Infiniti QX4 from Infiniti of South Atlanta September 2003. Since that time the raditor has been replaced three times - three times in less than 14 months. After the third raditor malfunctioned (second replacement), I met with the Service Manager who attributed the problems we had with the radiator to a manufacturing fault. I then contacted Infiniti Consumer Affairs to request an extended warranty of the radiator considering the problems we experienced and the manufacturing defect identified by the Service Manager. That request was denied.

When the radiator goes bad there are no warning signs. It continually puts myself, my husband, and our passengers at risk. For the first replacement, we had to pay a $100 deductible for it to be covered under the extended warranty. Additionally the time off work to take our car is an additional inconvenience.

I purchased a new 2004 g35. At 2,000 miles my brakes needed to be replaced.. both pads and rotors. (covered in waranty) (this is a known problem, as documented on your site) now at 4,500 miles my transmission and clutch went out. i did research online, and found a very very large amount of people with the same problem.. the experienced the same symptoms as i did with the transmission, and then they also were in need of a new transmission and clutch.

The dealer said that this is not a waranty issue, and that i need to pay 4,500 to get my car fixed. while doing research i found that about 1/2 the people were able to get the transmission covered by the waranty and the other half were not. one individual has 20,000 miles on his car and is on his FOURTH transmission, and clutch. It is obvious infiniti has a defect in both the g35 and 350z transmission. yet they are refusing to admit it. I refuse to pay 5 grand to fix a transmission on my BRAND NEW 40,000 car. does the lemon law come into effect here?

My xenon headlights have now been stolen twice in a period of two weeks (12 days of which the car was secure at Infiniti having damages fixed). I got into the lease on Seot 24, 2004. On October 15th, my car was broken into and my headlights were stolen. The thieves got into the car with little effort through the driver door handle. They then cut the electric system so the alarm never went off. The next morning the car was towed away for service. On October 29th, I got my car back from service. On the 31st in broad daylight (and with an additional alarm the service people at Infiniti recommended) the headlights were stolen again, this time without even having to open the car - in less than a minute with a crowbar.

I have had to pay my $500 auto insurance deductible twice now and fear being dropped from my insurance. I have been paying for car I can't even use b/c it spends most of its time at the dealer for service. I also had thousands of dollars of personal property stolen from my car (CDs, IPod, purses, etc) because of the lure of the headlights. AND it will happen again!

My 2003 Infiniti I35 was vandalized recently; the headlights were stolen and the driver's window was smased in while parked on a street in Glen Ridge. I was told by the dealer that this is becoming a problem for a number of customers. I noticed on your site that you filed a complaint against Nissan for a similar problem with the Maxima. When I called Infiniti Consumer Affairs I was told that there is no program in place to address this situation. When I asked whether I had to file a complaint with my state Consumer Affairs Division the woman practically hung up on me.

I am more concerned about avoiding this issue in the future than about recovering my deductible. Had I known that this was an issue I would not have leased this vehicle. Is there a way: 1) to get reimbursed for my costs 2) to have the manufacturer repair the problem so that it won't happen again or.... 3) to terminate the lease early under the Lemon Law so that I don't have to spend the next thirty one months worried that this will happen again?

We own a new G35 and the brakes need to be replaced at 13000 miles they tell me this is normal. I dont know about you but that is not normal from my 54 yrs of experience. I am told we will have to replace brakes every 12000 miles or so.
