I recently reached out to Caring.com to help me find an at home caregiving agency in Miami for my mother who had been recently diagnosed with Alzheimer's. We used an agency we originally found on our own and it was a total debacle. We had to stop using them and were in immediate need of assistance for my mother. It was all so overwhelming, and I honestly didn't know where to turn.

After seeing your ad on TV, I called Caring.com who put me in contact with 2 local agencies. Both reached out to me within minutes. I chose Advancare which has been phenomenal from the moment I spoke and met with them to now. They sent over a caregiver who has been phenomenal. She has extensive experience with Alzheimer's patients and my mother loves her! We are all thrilled, as this diagnosis has not been easy on our mother and our family. Thank you, Caring.com, for connecting us to a reliable, professional and honest agency. They are going above and beyond to make this transition easier while keeping our mother at home, which has been her wish since day one. Beyond grateful!

When I was referred to tour Adobe Country Gables, I was not sure what a shared living area would be like. Interesting to say the least. I found warmth in this home's atmosphere. I was greeted by the owner. This home is comfortably welcoming. As the others sat finishing their meal. They were introduced to me and were kind. The tour was nice, every area was clean and fresh thought out. I found the home very comfortable but personally, I don't think sharing a single bathroom is not for me.

Have you heard stories where senior citizens get scammed for the life savings that they will need to use for the remainder of their life by some foreign emails or call centers? You can thank websites like Caring.com for those. A Big Shout Out to them for selling senior citizens' information to scammers. I recently created an account for my father on Caring.com using my email address, as he isn't too good about reading emails. This is the only time I used my email address for my father. Within days, I stated getting emails from scammers trying to reach my father with False Information and baits in my email address. They know much of the information I had given to caring.com. People running this website are affiliated with or own organizations they contribute to billions of dollar of scams in the US every year. I big thank you for hurting the senior citizens.

I contacted Caring.com to ask for a few options of independent senior living facilities nearby. The first question was, "is this for yourself?" Next was "What is your income? How much money do you have?" I was shocked. I told their representative that I did not have a figure yet as I haven't sold my house, etc. I asked that he please give me a few options and then I could figure out which place fits into my budget and/or what I am willing to pay. He then told me there was only one nearby(?) I asked for the name and he wouldn't tell me(?) He then said he would email it and never did(?) Absolutely not helpful and utterly unprofessional. Maybe contacting a realtor in my area of interest will be a lot more helpful.

Hi Doris, Thanks for reaching out about this matter (posted on this reviews website and another). We offer a wide range of info about senior living communities on Caring.com (that is publicly available and doesn't require a free referral consult to access). We'd like to investigate further the call you referenced, but need you to contact us directly (so that we can collect privately the full name and phone number matched to the referral recording). We hope to hear from you ASAP.

Caring.com. If they can senior advisors or certain employees if they can take advantage of you they will. Sounds good at 1st but will disregard your best efforts if they can & will try to if given the opportunity. Do your best efforts to find a good place. They're not doing the best homework and won't. They have no regard for your loved one. Any reviews saying the opposite are lucky or are an employees.

I provided a review about The Harrison at Heritage in Fort Worth, TX, who was documented by ** as having only 63.3% of their staff vaccinated, and only 64.9% of residents vaccinated, specifying that I had PHOTOGRAPHIC EVIDENCE from a "nanny cam" that staff was coming into my father's room WITHOUT A MASK during a GLOBAL PANDEMIC- before he was admitted there, he repeatedly tested negative for COVID and was doing fine- then he & 9 other residents tested positive for COVID, and 10 nurses were out with COVID. This morning, HE DIED DUE TO THEIR EXTREME NEGLIGENCE. Apparently Caring.com doesn't think this is pertinent information to share with others advocating for loved ones.
