Customer service was worthless... Quick to get back to you but worthless. I had a simple question about how to make a pair of shorts not scratch my child anymore and wanted advice from the ACTUAL COMPANY that made the shorts but because I bought the shorts off Amazon I got turned away. Glad to know that companies won't help with a simple fix question... That is a real turn away.

I was going to purchase over 100 dollars worth of clothing in store today as I usually do when I shop there, but was told they no longer match online prices even if it does not state price is online only which it did not. I called customer service which is in India where no one understood what the issue was because they only read off cards. Another company sold out so I will no longer be shopping there.

My Order says it was delivered. I never received. THEY used the USPS which does NOT provide a picture of delivery. Philup/Abdul (manager) from The Children's Place support said they don't issue credits for goods not received and that I had to contact the postal office myself to start a service request for a refund for my order. Any other store would have replaced the order or given me a refund and THEY would deal with the carrier they chose themselves.

They keep canceling my order. I don’t even have enough available credit on my card that I specifically got to buy clothes for school for my grandchild that lives out of town. I was going to ship them there. It was $600 worth of stuff a couple extra things for my house, too. They said I had the wrong billing address and I didn’t. So they said I had to wait and it never dropped off so they upped my limit and then the second try checked the address it was right, they cancelled it again!!! Mind you, I had to go through the website again, find everything I ordered. This has wasted hours out of the past few days!
Phone calls, reorder and no one can tell me what I am doing wrong. Bo even out a order in for a couple shirts for $30 tonseebifbit would go through after they said the first order has to be small or they will think it’s fraud ???? But you're gonna cancel and not even call and verify my identity before canceling my order!!! I have to drive 3 hours one way to go buy them in person!! On top of all of it, everyone of my discounts are used and not available now, so what is wrong with this company? Their customer service sucks but the clothes are good quality, what a pain in the ass!! If I can find somewhere comparable to shop, I will. I am over this place.

Ordered a first day of school shirt for my daughter. Says it was delivered and never was. I have my camera showing it was not delivered. Was transferred to India for customer service. They were 0 help and told me to call my credit card to dispute the charge if I wanted. They offered 0 compensation and would not send a new one. The worst!! I will never buy from them ever!

I have recently had issue with rectifying a shipping address that was not the same as my default address. I always send to my son's address in another state. First I called customer service right after I made my order. It was 2:30 eastern standard time. It kept saying they were closed. I called the next day at 9:30 and they said I would have to change the address with the carrier when I received a email that it was shipped.
I call usps and they said this is commercial shipping and has to be changed within Children's Place shipping & receiving. So around and around I went. I called customer service and talked to Hamis and his manager Mohammad. Both refused to help me! They kept saying, "Sorry. We can't do anything." The product hasn't even left the Alabama children's place service center. I will never order from this company again! As far as customer service there isn't any!!!! So they are paying their people to do nothing. Maybe I can get a job there! Who would love to get paid for nothing!!!! Errrr!!! To say this experience has been so aggravating is an understatement!!! If you buy anything do it in the store!

I ordered items online! They are supposed to be here today, still haven't received a tracking number! I called them and they told me they haven't shipped them out and they don't know when they will ship and I can't get a refund! So unprofessional! I will not order here again

Missing Order, No Help – Stay Away. I ordered from The Children’s Place () in March and never received my items. While tracking says it was delivered, I never got it. I’ve sent eight emails to customer service with only one unhelpful reply. Klarna denied my case based on tracking, but I still never got what I paid for. The lack of response and accountability is outrageous. I’ve now had to escalate to their corporate office. Avoid ordering unless you’re okay losing money with no customer support.

Absolutely loved the atmosphere. Was able to buy what needed plus more for awesome prices. The staff were so helpful and friendly Shyanne and Sandra are truly amazing. I will definitely be back. Thank you.

I placed an order on 5/2/25 and received shipment confirmation for 5/6/25. By 5/16/25 the order was showing as awaiting carrier pick-up still. That typically means it is lost. I called customer service and was told they would expedite shipment. I received no confirmation of this. I called again on 5/19/25 and was told I would need to wait 5 days for the shipping confirmation from the 16th. On the 22nd I still had not received confirmation and was told I would not see anything until 5/30. I asked to speak to a manager and was told by the manager "I would received information sometime soon," with no other specifics. I asked to just cancel my order and was told no one within customer service could do that. I would not waste my money here ever again.

Terrible customer service. Don’t get a credit card here. They love to take on extra charges. Hardly can understand anyone on the phone. They are not clear with what is happening. I don’t know what happened to Children’s Place but they went downhill

My first time ordering from them and I purchased a straw hat for my nephew. They shipped it without the gift note and the hat which was a bear had one of the ears crushed in because they did not package it well. When I let them know what happened all they did was send a 30% coupon for my next purchase (which won’t be happening ever) instead of offering to replace the damaged item!

Ordered stuff on April 4th for Easter baskets. Paid $6.99 for shipping. Track my package, shows it didn't move since April 8th. Called and sent multiple emails stating these were for Easter and was told on the phone not to worry about it lol. When I said I'd never order from this company again, the guy laughed. Worst company I've ever dealt with!! They said, "Expect your new order within 7-10 business days and consider the original package lost." A new package being sent before Easter would have been the professional thing to do!! Sad company.

Ordered over $100 in merchandise only to receive a label in the mail in a USPS envelope. Contacted vendor and was instructed if I wanted my items replaced that it would be faster to reorder and request a refund for these items missing items, so I did that. I got my second order no problem. I was then denied a refund for these items first order because they are insisting it was delivered in spite of multiple attempts to resolve with them. I’ve had packages get lost in transit before with other merchants and have never had this issue. I’d stay away from this untrustworthy company that doesn’t care about its consumers.

I went to the mall and purchased three tees for my cousin baby girl. Everything was correct. I even took a picture of the screen with the correct address. They put an incorrect address to cause a return. I never received my refund. I called and they were so nasty. I hope they close this scamming store down. They are thieves. I would never ever buy anything else from here. And the third tee came and return and not refunds. So sad.

Children’s Place use to be a good place to shop for kids. The prices are ridiculous now and the customer service at this store is not good and they stare and watch you if you're **. It’s sad and to know be charging for bags 15 cents is crazy. Spent a hundred dollars and get told bags are 15 cents. Now that’s is ridiculous. I will not give no more of my money. Ain’t no way I should be haven’t to pay for a bag and I’m spending my hard earn money so I either have the choice to buy a bag or walk out without one with my clothes in my hand looking like I ain’t pay for the items. That’s sad. Yall started that when your clothes are already overpriced now and when a ** person already feel like they being followed or watched in the store. Every ** person don’t steal. It’s sad. Get it together. Walmart way cheaper for the same items.

I was in the store in Macon Georgia and the lady ringing up my merchandise and she told me it was going to a 15-cent charge for a bag, I said, "You mean to tell me I have to pay for a bag for the merchandise I am paying for?" She states yes, I call my children they were looking at T-shirt, I told the lady, "You done lost your mind so I don't get a bag?" She said "NO." I told my kids let go, I left the merchandise on the counter. Both the worker look stun, the ** girl said it only 15 cent, I told the girl I don't give a flip, ask her what I look like walking around this mall with merchandise in my hands, so I were park in front of their store, went over to H&M and got the items I wants. The 2 ladies standing in the doorway looking, so I point to the bag.

The store itself was clean everything was organized and easy to find. I ended up buying way more than I planned. Natasha hooked me up with some good recommendations and was chill about answering all my questions. You could tell she wanted to help me find the best outfits for the my kids. Overall, my trip to The Children's Place in Brockton was a total win. If you’re looking for dope kids’ clothes, definitely check out the store. Shoutout to Natasha for making my shopping experience one to remember! 💯

I made a purchase of 3 items. I decided to keep one and return the other 2. When I went to return the item it was told that one of the items was not on the receipt. Apparently the cashier rang up one of the items twice leaving one of the items off the receipt and charging me twice for the other. I explained that to the SM but she had no interest in helping me.

I placed an order over a month before Christmas, an email was sent to cancel the order on Dec 3, no respond from customer service, yet my package arrived late, after Christmas and is now unusable for next year. Despite multiple follow-ups, I keep getting the runaround instead of a refund. The delay was beyond my control, so why am I being penalized? This lack of accountability is unacceptable. I had a credit card with them for some time now. The last two month they have not taken my payment out of my account. Then add late fees as if I didn’t try to pay my account! Customer service was rude and manager Destiny did not care and wanted me to three way call my bank so she could speak with them regarding my account. I continued to tell her I will be calling a lawyer and closing my account. She didn’t care about that either and was told, "Have a nice day." I will be contacting lawyer for this after I was told I was being recorded but I couldn’t record them for giving me false information on my account!!

Terrible customer service, We ordered a package back on Dec 05, 2024 for Christmas and paid for expedited parcel due to the Canada post strike, we were assure that the package would be delivered in 3 - 5 business days. On Dec 13th I spoke with a rep from Children's Place and was told that the package was still in transition and would be delivered shortly...On Dec 18th I called again as package was not shipped yet and asked for them to cancel as it would not arrive in time for Christmas, the rep advised the package would be cancelled and I would not be charged. Fast forward to Jan 3rd package has now arrived at my house and I was charged. Requested a refund and sent the package back on Jan 05, 2025. It's now Jan 23rd and I have still not received my refund even though they have had the package back for 1 week. So annoyed I will NEVER order anything from children's place ever again!

Unresponsive, incompetent, and useless customer service. Every time I have a promo code issue online, I can never get anyone with any knowledge to assist me and their so-called "help center" doesn't have the answer I'm looking for. I end up having the code expire. Absolutely frustrating.

The customer service in the Crossiron Mall location was terrible...I arrived at the store 5 minutes before closing and my daughter was inside with my sister. They wouldn't open the door and ignored me completely. Need better workers. Thanks.

This is the last time I will order through them. Got someone else's order but I had to do the footwork to get the refund and then reorder the items that my child wanted. Go in to the city, have them hopefully, I haven't gone yet, to do the refund. Then come back online to reorder the stuff in hopes it's still there and maybe get product again. I am to call them back if I can't get a refund though so they can proceed with something else. I would wait till the end but I am ticked off. This is not the first time there has been a problem but it was taken care of right away. Guessing it's happening more frequently and due to losses have put stricter protocols in place.

I am extremely disappointed with The Children’s Place and their terrible customer service. I ordered toddler Christmas outfits in November, but they didn’t even prepare the order for shipping until after Christmas, and it finally arrived on December 31, 2024. While the Canada Post strike had ended just over a week before, that doesn’t explain why they waited so long to even process my order. The worst part was their response to my concerns. I reached out multiple times to escalate the issue, only to receive automated replies saying, “Your package was delivered, so you’re good now.” They made no effort to address the fact that the items were useless by the time they arrived or take any responsibility for the delay.
Judging by recent reviews, this seems to be a recurring issue. It’s clear they prioritize excuses over customer satisfaction. The fact that they waited until after Christmas to process an order placed in November is unacceptable. I will never shop here again. This experience has completely destroyed my trust in the brand. If you’re looking for reliable service and customer care, look elsewhere—The Children’s Place won’t deliver.

An item was missing from my order. There is no phone # to call, so I sent an email. A month later I get a response that they will replace the item, and then I haven’t heard anything since (order placed in Oct 2024). I sent a second email and have not heard anything back. Absolutely unconscionable to take someone’s money without giving them what was paid for, and then ignoring requests to make it right.

Dec 2nd I ordered 2 sets of PJs for Xmas gifts to give at family party out of town on Dec 22nd. Dec 9th the status was still processing so I called to see when the order would be shipped. I was told there was a delay in updates but it had been shipped and I would receive the parcel on the Monday (lie #1). Wednesday still no parcel and my acct still said processing so a 2nd call was made. This time I was told there was a delay in shipping. I asked for a refund at this time but was told that was not possible. I told the woman that the policy stated a refund was not possible if it was confirmed and complete but my order was processing and she had already confirmed not shipped. She asked then if I would accept a store voucher and I said no, a full refund only. She said she would process and I would see the funds credited in 5-7 business days (lie #2).
Dec 20th I received an email to say order had been shipped and on its way. Call made to a very noisy call centre to ask what was going on. I demanded to speak to a manager but was assured that I would get a refund and to ignore the email as it was the system updating and my order had indeed been cancelled and it was noted refund processing (lie #3). Dec 24th parcel arrived, phone call made to call centre and was reassured all calls had been documented and that I was to receive refund 5-7 days (lie #4) but if I could kindly take the parcel to my local The Children’s Place. Not a problem as full refund included the shipping costs I had paid so was prepared to return the parcel to store.
Jan 6th no refund received so yet another call made. This time I was told that there was no refund because I had received the parcel! (3 weeks after order and 2 days later than when needed.) At this point it’s not about saving the $7 shipping cost which I will now lose by returning the order to the store but it’s about principle and the organization's lack of trustworthy customer service reps. This is a complete gong show! The frustration I have endured with this company and the Indian based call centre is unacceptable and absolutely disgraceful. Not only does this company not follow through on their promise but also their own refund policy. If you can buy children’s clothes from other stores I highly advise!!

We ordered 6 sets of Christmas PJs for our family on Dec 7th. When it hadn't shipped more than a week later, we called to follow up our order and were assured it would arrive by Dec 23rd. When it didn't arrive on the stated date, we called back to say cancel our order, it hasn't shipped and we want a refund as it wouldn't arrive before Christmas. We were told someone would get back to us within 24 hours...of course when they didn't, so we called back again on Christmas Eve and were told it's now shipped and arriving Dec 27th. No solution offered other than wait for it to arrive after Christmas then return it by mail or in store if no longer wanted.
Well it's a New Year and our order still hasn't arrived....maybe it'll get here for Christmas 2025. They'll blame it on the Canada Post strike, but reality is they didn't ship our order for over 2 weeks during the holiday season when every other business used alternate carriers to ship goods and their customer service wasted our time, on all 3 calls the information we were told was inaccurate and incorrect. Never again.
