I made a very big purchase for my daughters here and they sent in multiple packages. I didn't receive any of my toddlers clothing because shipping company claimed to deliver even though they did not and Children's Place is refusing to reship or refund!
I don't know how the jacket fit or looked, because I ordered it along with other items and never received my order I called and spoke to 2 different supervisors and they both told me there was nothing they can do, I told them I didn’t want my money back I just wanted the clothes I purchased, and they said there was nothing they can do, so now I'm out $80 something bucks which was for Christmas. I have never experienced this treatment with a company before, I have been a rewards member and customer for 8 years, I will never shop there again!!!
Have not received my order. Says it is in transit waiting to be picked up by carrier. Emailed them and no response. Website says I should get in touch with carrier. Unacceptable. It should be their responsibility. I was a good customer but will now be ripping up my credit card and shop elsewhere.
Purchased uniform pants and uniform jumpers for my grandkids. They fit them with room to grow when tried on. However, they wore them once and were then washed but HUNG UP TO DRY - they were NOT dried in a dryer. Both the pants and the jumper shrunk RIDICULOUSLY. The store will not replace the item for a bigger size because they've been worn and washed. They will not return them even though they shrunk crazily or even exchange them for a larger size. I will NEVER shop this store again.
I have placed an online order, after a few days I received the delivered package email, but I wasn't able to find it, sent an inquiry through the app and they give a case number and said someone will contact you soon, which never happened. After four days while I called them, they gave me two options 1 to check with delivery company.
I ordered matching pajamas for all my grandchildren but one set did not arrive in the package. When I went to get that taken care of, the instructions said it was faster to request a refund then reorder. But now that size is not available!!!! So because they messed up and did not fill my order correctly, one of my grandchildren will not have the matching pajamas unless I start over and try a whole different style or a whole different company etc. It is late in the game now and a lot of places are sold out of various sizes. I am a very dissatisfied customer.
They sent my package that was full price worth over $250 with no insurance, so when it did not get delivered to my home (lost or stolen) they said they aren't responsible for refunding my money. So I'm out the money because they decided to not have insurance on my package. Ended in me filing a police report and never seeing my money back, of course. The Children's Place should take some type of responsibility!
I purchased some clothes for my grandchildren from this seller on Black Friday, 11.25.22. I didn't read the reviews because I was told that this would be a great place to shop for children. So like other customers, I knew that they would have awesome deals for the holiday. The store would not allow me the option to pick up my order at either location which honestly should have been a reason to not continue with this order. The first red flag was the company that they contract with to ship out their merchandise (Lasership) is based out of Charlotte, NC and has pending lawsuits against the management for stealing the customer products that were sent to the customer via text and e-mail as delivered but the customers never received the packages.
The second red flag was that it took too long for the merchandise to ship. I believe that the seller or someone working in the seller's warehouse is working one on one with Lasership and stating that the merchandise has been shipped from the seller's warehouse but never ships from the warehouse to the buyer. I don't have money to throw away and I will never ever shop with this company again or recommend to others. The third-party shipping company fraudulently signed my name and did not deliver the package to my home.
I ordered Christmas Pajamas for my children. The package claimed it was delivered on November 22nd. I never received it. I checked with my neighbors as well just to make sure. I ran it back on my security camera and NOTHING was delivered to my home on this day. They use a 3rd party shipping company LaserShip who is also awful. They offered no refund or replacement. Told me to contact my financial institution. Worst customer service ever! Fraud is what it is called!
I give them one star because this system doesn’t let me give less. I buy a pants and received the opposite of that and is been month and a half and they never send me a labor for return the merchancy and my money back. They always apologize the inconvenience but don't do anything for me and even when they are the one to make a mistake with the purchase. Never again!!
I placed an order for some snow boots for my daughters online. The whole reason I even placed my order with The Children's Place was because they were one of the only places I could find a snow boot small enough for my toddler, and that they had a quick delivery date. By the time my delivery date came and went, my order was sitting in "transit" mode with a delay.
I reached out a handful of times wondering where my order was because I NEEDED them for a trip. I was continuously told that I needed to wait longer and reach back out in a few days. Each time I reached out I was told this. Until I was finally told by the SHIPPING COMPANY, not even The Children's Place, that my order had been lost. My daughters are now out snow boots because of this and I can not get a replacement on time. Maybe if I was informed my order was lost in the mail WEEKS ago, this would and should have been resolved. The Children's Place has not responded back to me and I am now out $80. AWFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE!
I paid my account off with them in April 22 only to get a random email in November 22 saying I had a balance of 54$ in late fees on a zero balance. Not a single bill or any kind of alert and no purchases had been made on the card since 2021. I will be filing a complaint with my state's Atty general as well.
I placed an order and noticed the website auto populated my old address from another city. Moments after placing it, I cancelled the order by phone. I was assured the order would be cancelled. It was not, and the money still taken out of my account. This feels kind of dishonest in my opinion. It's not what I have come to expect from Childrens Place. So now I'm left with clothes I have to return and money out I did not budget for, That is assuming the clothing arrives to my new address and I can even return it.
I ordered 5 items online. They claimed the order was delivered but it never was. I checked my security camera and checked with the neighbors and there was nothing. I contacted The Children's Place customer service twice and they said that they couldn't anything that the carrier was the one responsible for it. I contacted UPS and they said that the package was passed to the local post office USPS. I called them as well and tried to open a claim but they claimed that it was delivered. Unfortunately, I lost my money, there wasn't any help offered from The Children's Place.
I ordered a coat for my daughter on OCT 4th. Item claimed it was delivered the 18th. I never received it, I was home, checked with my neighbors as well. They use a 3rd party shipping company LaserShip who is also awful. They offered no refund or replacement. Told me to contact my financial institution. Worst customer service ever. Thieves who don't care about their customers.
I recently ordered my baby girl a Cookie dough Thankful For My Family Shirt And a pair of Faux Denim Leggings (True Indigo). I also ordered a Pink Shrug: Sweet Nothing That I absolutely love and looks good on my baby girl!
I guess I don't learn from my mistakes because this is the 2nd time it happens to me with the Children's Place. They sent me entirely the wrong item, I ordered boots and they sent me baby pajamas. Customer service never replied to the message I left so I called them and they refused to fix THEIR OWN MISTAKE. Told me I would have to ship the pajamas I never ordered back to them (and would provide a label) and refund me for the boots. Well I never received the label nor the refund. I can't believe they don't stand behind their own company. How can you ship the wrong item and then dare telling me that you cannot fix your own mistake?!? I would never treat a customer like that. Well, it is the 2nd time this exact situation happens to me so they've lost me as a customer forever. I will shop somewhere else!
Originally I asked if I use this card for gas, etc? And if I could pay off immediately after purchase? After being approved I asked how know my address because it didn't ask for it. They used an address I have never put on MY driver's license, luckily it was my sister's home which I have never lived. I couldn't pay off because I code was wrong. The cashier called 5 times and I called 5 times over the course of 2 months. They sent my credit card to the wrong address but luckily that person sent it to me. The address was completely off. It costs $9 to pay over the phone and online.
I go into the store and they said I couldn't pay with my debit card. I had to pay online phone or cash. I went to ATM in mall and spent $5 to get CASH!!! Then when it was time to pay I asked if I could use my card for clothing purchase and then immediately pay entire thing off to close credit card? Wrong!!! I used for second purchase and she told me my credit card balance. I asked why my new amount wasn't showing, she said it was! She then asked if I was a club member. I assumed so since I had their credit card!!! They are 2 different things!! Okay!
I then wait lo ger for a manager to fix the amount so I could pay the entire thing off and cancel my credit card! I was irritated at this point, because before this second purchase she said I could pay it off, and the amount was correct (apparently you have to go in and attach receipt to credit card to pay it off!! EVEN IF YOU USED THE CREDIT CARD TO PAY FOR IT!!). So if you never asked for them to fix it my amount would be idolling sitting secretly on my card without my knowledge and ruining my credit all because they didn't attach the credit card receipt to the credit card itself!! 0/10.
I called to activate my card and they started trying to sell me assure protection and I had one question and the lady yelled and snapped at me and hung up on me. Needless to say I will be canceling my card and never doing business with them again. I've never had someone be so rude while I'm just activating a card and had a question. I couldn't believe it.
I ordered a coat for my toddler from The Children's Place on 09/09/22, it is now 09/22/22. I check the status and it's lost. I report this information to Children's Place. They refuse to refund or replace. I'm highly agitated with them. They give you different answers, once they take your money that's it. DON'T SHOP HERE.
Updated on 9/16/2022: Opened a claim for a shipment never received and shipped to the wrong address, and everytime I would call they would say it was still in process and then out of nowhere they said it was resolved, when they never even called. And now they keep sending me back and forth and now USPS nor the store are resolving the issue, and it's been 2 months and I haven't received the nor the package or my money back.
Original review: Made ordered and they delivered to wrong address and when they delivered and I called, they didn't even try to help and find a solution to my situation immediately and washed their hands with, "Oh just call the carrier and go from there." No kind of options, no kind of help, NOTHING. Very disappointed.
I ordered my son's school uniform pants from here on July 29, 2022. Bad mistake. My package was stolen out of my building's mailroom on Aug 2nd, 2022. The shipper (LaserShip) never put the package in the mail locker. Just threw it in the mailroom on some boxes. And now I'm out of the merchandise and my money. Because The Children's Place would not reimburse or replace the merchandise. I've read some similar reviews. I filed a complaint with the FTC and my local division of Consumer Affairs. I will be filing with the NY Attorney General Office as well.
My point is just don't write a review. Report them. With enough complaints we as consumers can stop this practice that they are doing. And the only way to do that is to report their behavior to the right agencies. This is what they're there for. We as the little people can't make but so much noise on our own. But together with our complaints can bring awareness to the right people. That can fight on our behalf. Most complaint filing is done online or you can call. Just don't write a review and then not report them. We have to let them know that it's not ok that you think you can just keep people's money. And the merchandise was never received. So numbers is power. Complain people. Complain to these agencies to stop The Children's Place online unfair practices against everyday hard working consumers.
I ordered a big order from them and they separated it into 3 deliveries. They sent 2 packages to the wrong address and refuse to fix it. I contacted the carriers which wasn’t easy because they had the wrong carrier. The carrier said that if Children's place gave the ok they could put the right address and reship it but children's place wouldn’t give permission. They have horrible customer service and don’t care what happens to the package after they get your money.
I ordered 3 pairs of sunglasses for my daughter which shipped on 5/13/22 and the package did not arrive until 5/28/22, 15 days later. That was not my issue. Children's Place packed 3 tiny pairs of sunglasses in a large box without packing material. It was a big box filled mostly with air. The box got crushed and the tiny glasses which were not secure in the box slipped out. I did not receive 2 out of 3 pairs of the glasses and Children's place refuses to replace them. They point the blame at the delivery carrier. My transaction was not with the carrier. My transaction was with Children's place. Until those items are in my possession, they are not mine. I paid Children’s place $9.65 for items not received due to their poor packing. I would like a replacement OR credit of $9.65. It’s not a large sum, but a large corporation should be able to make it right with a longtime customer. I paid them and they didn’t fulfill transaction.
Horrible experience with this company. I ordered some clothes for my boys and it was shipped to the wrong address. When I tried to call customer service but to my surprise they were closed. When I did finally get in contact with somebody I was informed that the package was already shipped and delivered and the only resolution I was offered was to try and contact the carrier to see if the carrier can go back and retrieve the package. When I asked why I wasn't given the information of who was delivering the package he couldn't answer that question. So now I'm out of money trying to dispute this with my bank and The Children's Place is blocking it claiming that there's no fraud. Well yes it is fraud. First off wrong billing address, wrong shipping address and the wrong individual received the package. I will never, never purchase from the store again and it's sad because they have really decent prices.
I would give them 0 if I could. Placed an order and it said, "Apply for a credit card and you will automatically receive 30% off at checkout." Applied. It said, "Congratulations. You were approved. Your discount will automatically be applied at checkout." Showed me what my new balance would be but when I checked out the 30% was not taken off. I emailed them immediately because their customer service center is closed on weekends. Gave them 5 days to respond.... No answer. Called and they refuse to credit me back the difference. Told me they will give me a coupon for next time. There won't be a next time.
I sent everything to my son directly because they live 2 hours away. Bought everything my grandson needs now because I was supposed to get 30% off. This is false advertising, they do not stand by their own advertisement. They told me to go return everything and repurchase it. I will return everything and never purchase anything from them again. Buyer beware!!!!
Place an order (#**) in March, apparently delivered on April 1st by Canada post, with nothing in the mailbox, contact customer service was told I was going to get a refund, placed a second order: Order Number **. Order Date April 7, 2022 at 3:49pm #**. F. D. ** to replace the one I never got (one item was already out of stock). Got it delivered straight to Canada post for me to pick it up. After over a month and countless phone calls and excuses still no refund. Used to buy my kid's uniforms from them either directly online or from Amazon, NEVER AGAIN.
Ordered from The Children's Place and ordered a pack of shirts size 5/6. They sent me size 4. Went to the store to return and they refused to return them due to no tags on the shirts. They came in a multi pack and had no tags when I received them. Customer service is a joke. They said no returns without tags and no exceptions. How can I return them with tags when they sent them with no tags. When I called back and disputed it they said I need to return to the store and speak to a manager. I spoke to the manager when I was there and she refused to return them. Customer service service said there is nothing they can do. No refund, no exchange, nothing. Awful service. I have never had a problem with customer service before but everything has changed now. Beware.
So I made 3 purchases, spent my last dollars on summer clothes for my son. They charged a second 'ret rev' transactions for each transaction. Basically return reversals without a return! I called and they acted like I was overreacting and said their authorization holds and will be returned within 3- 5 business days. First of all, I cannot afford to have this money pending, I'm a single mom on disability and I now have 90$ in limbo, my account is -62$, I've been charged a 10$ overdraft fee for my account being in the negative, not my fault because this is not a normal nor legitimate transaction! It's not an authorization hold, the money was taken and then a ' return reversal' yet no refund!
It's very Shady that they're doing this and I'm stressed because the money I'm supposed to get April 5th for my son's birthday cake and water table (birthday April 8) will not cover those things if my money is not returned to my bank account! I made an online purchase, I paid and now I feel deceived due to them using a deceitful way to take more money from my account. This is not acceptable. I would like my money returned immediately! Plus an extra ten dollars for the overdraft fee I incurred. I was not informed that any more than what I paid would be taken from my bank account and I did not authorize it. Very unprofessional of them. Who does this? I would suggest to not purchase things online with your own bank account and to use a prepaid Visa debit as to avoid this. I do not want to be stressed out as a customer. That's not the kind of experience I should be getting.
This is the second time that I ordered online but unfortunately, the customer support let you wait for 10 days more to get an update with your order. The last time I ordered, they said my package was lost but in the tracking Purolator didn't pick up my package from the warehouse. So after 2 wks of waiting they refunded my money. So right now, I tried it again and still there's no update, I don't know how they manage their business like this. It's so frustrating because I will use that order for my niece's coming bday.
