In September I took my 36 disposable cameras to Walgreens on flat Shoals and Wesley Chapel. The LBGQT young man that was working at the front of the photo department. Put my number in wrong to pick up my photos. I return to pick up my photos three weeks later and was told to come back because I left so many cameras, I waited till November when I return back, they threw all my pictures away. I spoke with management who said they will get someone to call me back. I’ve never gotten a phone call. I am going through depression because these pictures were pictures of me from 30 years ago and they all print it out because I kept them safe, they told me they were going to try to look at the photo department and see if they can pull up my pictures. They couldn’t. No one even tried to compensate me for my loss. I am still going through depression at this moment for losing my childhood pictures.
I ordered photos as a gift. Due to it being an 11x14 size, shipping was required (rather than picking up in store). When they arrived, they were in a flimsy envelope & all bent up. There was nothing in the envelope to keep them straight. They were supposed to be a gift for someone but they were not in any shape to even be used by myself yet alone gifting to someone else.

I placed an online order of 161 prints. I received 2 emails that my order was ready for pickup. When I got there they couldn't find my prints. They said they would reprint my order and it would take 20 to 30 minutes. While I was waiting for my order to print, another woman came in to pick up an order. They couldn't find her order either. She said she had come in yesterday in response to an email saying it was ready and the order wasn't there. She received another email saying it was ready today but again it wasn't there. I remembered that they had lost my order last year too. After 40 minutes my order was printed. I won't be going back there again.
We been a loyal user of same-day Walgreens Photo and finally decided to ordered some ship-in prints to pick up at the store. The order estimated to arrive on March 3rd. On March 4th it's status is ready for pick up, we waited until March 11th to visit the store but still no luck. We came back on March 16th to be told that they cannot help us so we have to call the customer service.
The helping person was not only very unhelpful but they were also very dismissive. They did not listen to any of our explanations and only checked our order number only when we asked specifically. When there are clear signs of something is wrong with the order, they refuse to help us any further as the order was "fulfilled" and it is our responsibility to call the carrier, which was impossible to reach. We have left voicemails but at this point I not expecting to ever receive my order. I love Walgreens photo for their options and flexibility but after this experience I will rethink if want to deal with their rude customer service ever again.
I ordered a mail it for me card for my anniversary on January 11th. To date this card has not been received. I called over a week ago. I was told it would be reordered. I’m glad my first time using was sent to my home otherwise I may have thought the card was received. I would not recommend this service.
I used the Walgreens same day photo pick up which I needed for a funeral collage that I was doing. I ordered the size 4 by fours. When I picked them up they are on 4 by 6 photo sheets and they did not even trim them so now IA 108 photos and trim the big white portion off the photo so they are actually 4x4. This is very time consuming and I'm on a time limit. If I wanted 4x6 size sheets I would have ordered 4x6. I ordered 4x4 for a reason.
I use Walgreens Photo all the time. Normally they are good. This time several of my of my prints were not the right size. I use the photos in a school setting and need them to be correct. From now on I will open and I spent the photo orders before I pay. I should have been doing that but never had a problem.
I ordered magnetic frames online. By mistake chose the Walgreens a half hour walk away. They refused to change it so I took a car service. Over a half hour after they said it would be ready it wasn't. Came two days later. They said the system broke down the day before and they did not have my frames. I asked them if they can transfer to a different Walgreens. They refused till I said I was going to write a review. They finally agreed to switch it. Got to the other store. They said they don't have magnetic frames I'll get a different item at a discount. They then changed their mind a half hour later.
I recently wanted to get some customized return address labels since I’m about to send out a bunch of baby shower thank you cards. I placed an order, card got charged and then my order was cancelled. I called the customer service # to figure out what happened to the order. They said the shipping address was invalid and to pick up at store, then informed me there was no pick up option currently available and to replace the order. So I redid the order, card got charged AGAIN, and then again my order was cancelled.
I called customer service a second time, explained that I’ve already been through this and wanted to know what was going on. At one point I even said if they were unable to fulfill my order, it was fine I just needed to be refunded and told honestly because this was time sensitive. This rep told me it wasn’t actually an invalid shipping address issue, but that the particular store fulfilling my order had a broken machine. So she was going to reroute my order to a different store using the already pending charge on my card. I have just received a third notification that my order cannot be fulfilled and that it’s been cancelled. I have 3 pending transactions on my card now with them.
Luckily, I had a feeling something was sketchy so I ordered labels from Shutterfly instead - no issues. But I am appalled by how Walgreens Photo has handled this affair. Every rep I’ve talked to has beaten around the bush with me - no straight answers. Just for reference, these are stores in Swansboro, Cape Carteret, New Bern and Wilmington, North Carolina. I find it very unsettling that each location claims a “shipping issue” which at one store turned out to be a lie because the machine was actually broken. I’d recommend avoiding doing photo business with these locations. I just hope I get refunded for all the transactions.
I ordered a canvas of my proposal photos. I picked the product up and when I returned home, noticed that the product was completely defective (photo off-kilter, awful coloring). Looks like it was done for a Kindergarten arts & crafts class. That's just the start of it. I called Walgreens where I met a lady that said she would process my refund and I should see it in the next 5-7 business days. Great. I monitored my account, noticed it was never refunded, so I reached out to Customer Service via email. They told me I needed to return it to the store. I went to the store and they told me it could no longer be returned because it was past 30 days. It was past 30 days, mind you, because I was waiting for weeks for the refund to be deposited like they told me it would.
I called the help desk, I was transferred 7 (SEVEN) times to different groups, and I sit here, at the 65 minute mark, continuing to be transferred because "there isn't anything we can do to process your refund online, so let me transfer you to another group." Doesn't matter that the product was **; doesn't matter that they are the reason it's past 30 days by telling me inaccurate information. A complete clown show at Walgreens, from the canvas product to the "consumer relations" team. Do not buy from here.
