I've been waiting a month to get my photos back and they still don't know when they will arrive. They gave me an expected day of 1 week. It's now been 5. They keep telling me they will call me which they haven't. I call every week and I get the same story. They're still in processing.

In following up on my final try to get Walgreens to acknowledge their failure relating to my Christmas gift order, I came across the review by "Robert". I had to post that a similar thing happened to me. I ordered a photo book that took me days to prepare, for "same day delivery", a week before Christmas. Unfortunately, I got the runaround as well.

After five days, and several contacts with the store where they assured me that my book was in the queue, they cancelled my order. I then placed it with several other Walgreens stores in the area in a desperate attempt to get it printed anywhere. All but one cancelled the order on me. I was able to get it for gifting on December 23, but the quality was lousy with lines throughout the pages. I have called the 800 number for Photo Customer Service, with promises to reply, only to be left with no response. I then mailed a letter to their corporate office and received no reply. Their equipment can't handle the orders that they promise for prompt delivery, and they really don't care if they ruin your holiday or event. I agree with Robert, save yourself the hassle and go somewhere else.

Programmers at Walgreens Photo changed how you can upload - you can now upload from your phone. But when you choose to upload from your computer and go to the next screen, it asks you AGAIN if you want to upload from your phone and to scan a QR code. I just selected from my computer so no need to ask again. And now, unfortunately, programmers have put a bar at the bottom of the page where this QR code is and covered "select photos". Obviously, they did not test their product. No need to ask again if a customer wants to upload from their phone when they selected to upload from their computer. It's not possible to upload from your computer with this bar covering the words "select photos". Programmers need to fix it fast.

I placed an order for Christmas photo cards using the Mail-for-Me service on December 2, 2025, hoping to get them sent out in plenty of time for the holidays. As of December 22, 2025, the order still shows as "not processed" – nothing has been printed or mailed. Christmas is in three days, and these cards will never arrive on time. Over the past few weeks, I have called customer service multiple times (866-264-2910) and called this store to check on the status. Every single time, the representative assured me that someone would contact me soon or that my order would be processed and shipped "that day." None of those promises were kept – no follow-up calls, no emails, and no movement on the order. By the last few calls, I actually told them I felt like they were just saying whatever it took to get me off the phone. Sadly, that appears to be exactly what was happening.

This has ruined our family’s holiday card tradition and caused a lot of unnecessary stress during an already busy season. I trusted Walgreens Photo because it’s a big, established company, but this experience has been incredibly disappointing – poor communication, broken promises, and zero accountability. I’m now requesting a full refund and some kind of compensation for the inconvenience, but based on everything so far, I’m not holding my breath. If you’re thinking about ordering holiday cards from Walgreens Photo, especially with the Mail-for-Me option, I strongly recommend looking elsewhere. Save yourself the frustration.

      Order placed: December 2, 2025
      Order number: **

Current status: Still not processed as of December 22, 2025.

I went to the Walgreens branch at 2001 O'Neal Ln, Baton Rouge, LA 70816 for the green card, and they said they could take pictures for me. I took pictures with my family, and when I got the photos home, they were too bright and unnatural, and I don't think they meet the standards on the green card page. How can I get these photos in the requested format?

I arrived at Walgreens at 4:35 to pickup business cards and when I got there, the card weren’t cut properly. I explained that I didn’t want the order if I was paying for something I didn’t receive correctly. As I proceeded to leave the store, I turned back around to ask if they could maybe print the business cards for me and I’ll cut them at home. So two of the reps did just that. After standing in the store for about an 25 mins. Mr **, the manager who cut the cards asked, "How can I help." I told him I was having the cards printed again since the first batch didn’t come out right and I’ll just cut them at home. He got frustrated with me telling him this and walked away. After another 25 mins, I noticed the machine kept stopping and I asked the Manager Mr. ** if the cards were ready. He said he didn’t know since he wasn’t the one helping me and I needed to ask the person who was helping me since he had already printed off “700 cards.”

He stated wasn’t helping me anymore since I just wasted his time. I then turn to the young rep and asked, "Are the cards ready?" Mr ** continued to talk at me as I ignored him and worked with the employee who did have a “I can help you” attitude. He said the printer kept stopping so it still had a few more cards to go. Mr ** the manager then proceeded to reprimand his employee and tell him not to do that again. The young employee stated, “it wasn’t me”. I continue to sit at the register and by this time, it was 6:30. I then asked the young employee again…"Brother are they ready?” Mr ** then proceeded to jump in and say I messed up their printer and I’m “a photographer anyway, why would I be ordering cards from Walgreens.” I ignored him and addressed the young red head employee and stated I’ll just buy those because I only order 200 business cards in one order, and 120 in the other.

Mr ** told the young employee, "We’re not selling those to him because y'all (they) weren’t suppose to print them off this way anyway" and begin to get irate. I proceeded to tell the young employee I only order 200 cards but he had a stack in his hand as big as a text book. I asked him how many did he have since there should’ve only been 25 sheets of paper. (Each sheet printed 8 cards) Mr. ** then said, “it don’t matter you’re not getting them, get out.” I continued to talk to the young red head employee who wanted to help, but at this point Mr. ** made it a point to set a example and told me to get out or I’m calling Sandy Springs. I asked for him to call them.

As I was looking at him, his eyes were wide and he was shaking. I asked him if he was ok because he was shaking and he stated I was provoking him. I asked him, provoking you to do what, with my eyes now wide. I’ve been shopping at Walgreens for years and have never experience such disrespect and rudeness. He did call the police and gave them my tag number as he taunted me on my way out the store. I recorded the whole incident on my glasses and will be sending it to management as high as I can go because it’s obvious that people like Mr. ** aren’t a good representation of the company.

Photo department is awful or the people that work in photo lab. Ordered a photo book online same day, got delayed message, called was told material was needed and was ordered, got message it was ready. Stop by store to find it was not. She told me she would call me. Truck arrives Saturday after the holiday. Called on Saturday afternoon, girl put me on hold, rang back no answer. Call back get young man, told me it did not come in. I asked if I could transfer to another store or change the book. He said I could change stores and he could cancel my order.

After I hung up I was concerned I would lose my work so I call back. He told me I would have to start over. I thought I would lose all my work and asking what to do he hung up on me. I Called for manager, talked to Kevin, he explained photo making changes to the dept did not know if that material would come in. I have worked in customer service and this store does not care about customers, my advice to you is don't choose this store. It is horrible! There is more to this story but I am sick of it. I always liked Walgreens. But they are not the same as they used to be. I plan to post more reviews on this store..

I had a horrible customer service experience at Walgreens Elmwood Park Illinois! I went to drop off my VHS tape to transfer into a DVD on October 6, 2024 and it’s February 15th 2025 still don’t have it. They claim it got lost through FedEx, plus they can’t find it because they don’t have a tracking number for it, so it’s lost the only memories I had of my late father! I trusted Walgreens with something so precious as my family and my late father, and they were so careless to lose it through FedEx! I can’t understand how they can’t go into their own Computer and look up exactly who came in from FedEx to pick up my package to have it sent to I memories! I’ve spoke with the manager she said she done her best and don’t know where my VHS tape is! This is so unprofessional and so wrong how can they lose a customer’s belonging! How can they send a package out without a tracking number? Something just doesn’t add up!

I asked her if she could get a hold of fedex and she said when she called they can’t do anything without a tracking number! It’s just hard to believe they don’t have any access to their own information on tracking numbers for FedEx! When I asked the manager if she could look up in their system to try and track where the package might be she said she doesn’t have any access to that information that corporate office only has it! This is so upsetting! I hope this doesn’t happen to anyone else! I didn’t ask for any of this all I wanted to do was get my VHS converted into a dvd and this is what I get! I’m sure Walgreens doesn’t care because it’s not happening to them and their family memories! Nobody doesn’t understand how much this hurts losing the only Memory I had left of my late father until it happens to them!!

We ordered Christmas cards from Walgreens this year. My wife started loading the cards into the envelopes and discovered that the cards were not all quite trimmed the same and even the smallest would not fit in the envelopes. She went back to walgreens to see if the cards were either trimmed wrong or there was a bad batch of envelopes. They basically told her "too bad, so sad" and said that is just how it is. We will NOT be using Walgreens for Christmas cards in the future.
