I had a horrible customer service experience at Walgreens Elmwood Park Illinois! I went to drop off my VHS tape to transfer into a DVD on October 6, 2024 and it’s February 15th 2025 still don’t have it. They claim it got lost through FedEx, plus they can’t find it because they don’t have a tracking number for it, so it’s lost the only memories I had of my late father! I trusted Walgreens with something so precious as my family and my late father, and they were so careless to lose it through FedEx! I can’t understand how they can’t go into their own Computer and look up exactly who came in from FedEx to pick up my package to have it sent to I memories! I’ve spoke with the manager she said she done her best and don’t know where my VHS tape is! This is so unprofessional and so wrong how can they lose a customer’s belonging! How can they send a package out without a tracking number? Something just doesn’t add up!

I asked her if she could get a hold of fedex and she said when she called they can’t do anything without a tracking number! It’s just hard to believe they don’t have any access to their own information on tracking numbers for FedEx! When I asked the manager if she could look up in their system to try and track where the package might be she said she doesn’t have any access to that information that corporate office only has it! This is so upsetting! I hope this doesn’t happen to anyone else! I didn’t ask for any of this all I wanted to do was get my VHS converted into a dvd and this is what I get! I’m sure Walgreens doesn’t care because it’s not happening to them and their family memories! Nobody doesn’t understand how much this hurts losing the only Memory I had left of my late father until it happens to them!!

We ordered Christmas cards from Walgreens this year. My wife started loading the cards into the envelopes and discovered that the cards were not all quite trimmed the same and even the smallest would not fit in the envelopes. She went back to walgreens to see if the cards were either trimmed wrong or there was a bad batch of envelopes. They basically told her "too bad, so sad" and said that is just how it is. We will NOT be using Walgreens for Christmas cards in the future.

Don't waste your time & money. I made custom photo cards for Christmas and Walgreens messed up both times. Text cut off first time. Random blue line through text second time. The Walgreens employee said I should have them printed a 3rd time at another Walgreens. I'd already wasted 5 days. I also showed the employee (different one each time) and asked if these were their cards, would they pay $44.00 for them. Both employees said "no".

The price for 4 x 6 prints has skyrocketed. Switching to Walmart. The service slow with overworked staff. Company's financial model exploding. Should have never expanded to Great Britain. Expensive poor business model.

I found a 35mm roll of film and decided to get it developed. They had film trouble shooting/no exposures. But they went ahead and charged me $9.65. Why? I guess for the trouble they went through. Shouldn't have made me pay for something that wasn't on that film! It's not the money, it's the thought of it.. Oh on top of things my new computer does not have a Disk player in it. How was I going to see those photos.. Just plain Stupid!!

Went to Prominence Point in Canton, Ga. 5x7s and photos were curved [bent] when I picked them up. They blamed a new ribbon on the machine. No offer to fix. Half the 4x6 photos had thick white borders. For that, they blamed me and the "way [I] put it in". Um, I just chose the standard size 4x6 photo. My 5x7 enlargements were curved as well. Their suggestion was place a book on top of the photos to flatten. Again, no offer to fix. Definitely NOT Gift-Giving condition.

I twice attempted to order a 2' x 8' banner. The first time I selected a local store for pickup. This order was cancelled the next day: "We're sorry, your order didn't process properly and had to be cancelled. The good news is you can send this order to a different Walgreens store. Just click here..." Not wanting to make the same mistake twice, I chose to have the banner mailed to my house when I placed the second order. This order was also cancelled the next day: "We couldn’t process your photo order right now and have canceled it. Your credit card ending in **** will be automatically refunded. Still want to purchase? Simply create a new order and verify your shipping address." In each case no explanation for the cancellation was given. Very frustrating.

I ordered 30 postcards from Walgreens online. They confirmed the order. This was a business order so I needed the postcards within a week, which they confirmed. 3 days later, they CANCELED THE ORDER. No explanation. I called them and still no explanation. They said I should call the local store even though there was no local store in the online order. They also said I needed to resubmit the order and try again. Keep in mind this order was already late at this point and it would take me about an hour to upload everything again as there were 30 separate files. SO BAD! HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! DO NOT USE THEM IF YOU CARE ABOUT YOUR TIME AND MONEY, especially if you are a small business like me. It's a disaster.

The service I've had for quite a lot of photos over the last year (and tiles and canvas) has been phenomenal at the Manassas City location here on Centreville Rd and 234. The girl called me about an issue one time about a poster and their paper cutter went out and gave me the poster for free just because of the inconvenience. Also, I've gotten calls about any questions and never any issues. Very impressive.

I should have checked their poor rating before I used them and wasting my $16.99 + 7% tax. Got two passport size (2”x2”) photos. It suppose to come with an e-copy in my email. Email came after few hours but only can get the photo after a passcode in my phone message. The passcode never came. Funny is the inactive “resend” button. Tried several times in 24 hours, but it did not work. Completely worthless!
