I’ve been to Tuesday Morning many times and have NEVER gotten the sales from the ad! Every time I go ... which is at opening!, they are already sold out! Hmmm... No wonder all the store are slowly closing down! Orange County, California.

The store is billed as a discount store, carrying overstock and discontinued items, with some readily available items. We have been to several of these stores and have found in most cases, the exact same items can be found for much, much less. They are great on the "smalls" but other items are priced at full retail when comparison shopping.

I returned a set of sheets to Charlotte store #0147 2 weeks ago. I was refunded cash. I then bought another set of sheets that were more expensive for $39.99. I had no intentions of returning these sheets under any circumstances. I had been in line for ages and the girl had issues with how to do the transaction. I was so frustrated I walked out the door without the receipt for the new set. Imagine my surprise when I received the credit card bill with a $67.35 charge at Tuesday Morning. This was a $27.47 overcharge! I went back to the manager and he would not even talk to me. He told me that I had to get a breakdown of all the charges from the credit card company. He insisted they would do this. Now the credit card company tells me that there is NO such thing as a breakdown. I will never set foot in any Tuesday Morning again!

I went to Tuesday Morning to purchase several items in their sale brochure, the sale started today. I was told everything I wanted was sold out even though I got there at the opening time, how does that happen? Very frustrating! Janelle **.

I purchased $217 worth of decor items. I returned all items except 1 (cost 3.64) the very next day. The store only refunded me $180. The manager of the store was as rude as I have ever encountered. She 1) blamed her computer, 2) said it was ME that didn’t understand, 3) refused to acknowledge that 217 minus 4 is $213, 4) repeatedly rolled her eyes at me, 5) said it was not an IT issue, 6) told me there was nothing she could do - I would have to call corporate. After repeated calls to corporate I still had no answer 4 days later (they did say they had shorted me but the district manager would have to fix it as they saw fit). I discovered. An additional credit back to my card but STILL no explanation despite 2 more calls to corporate.
The store manager called the 4th day and said it was indeed store error - that they had missed scanning 1 of the returned items. I again called corporate asking for the DM. Corporate now had a note saying the DM had called me and offered a store discount - a BLATANT LIE. I would NOT recommend this store - they both lie and treat customers poorly.

Clerk was rude to me even before I purchased anything. He came out from behind the cash drawer to Yell down the aisle at me. He wanted me to know he was watching. He was rude when I checked out. I was buying a stamp set, he noticed that there were 2 packages of the stamps in the same marked envelope. Told me he was going to take out one of them so I would not get 2 for the price of 1. I said; " I only want 1 set anyway." He then said "Yea, sure". End of story, end of shopping here.

I got my ad in the Sunday paper for Tuesday Morning. I went to the 29th St. store in Pueblo, CO, right away to buy two of the Ott Lamps. First off, the store opened an hour early but this was not mentioned in the ad. When I got there one hour after the posted opening time, and was told that someone had come in at 10 AM and bought out ALL the Ott lamps, leaving no one else a chance to purchase any. This is unfair to the rest of us. I bet anything that whoever bought them all is going to resell them. I think there should be a limit on how many can be purchased at a time. I will NEVER go back to Tuesday Morning again.

I returned a Weber BBQ grill cover but my receipt was faded and not readable. When I purchased the product it was 20% off but they only reimbursed me 60% (they assumed it was 40% off). Right after I received my refund I decided to shop and discovered the same item was only 20% off, so they undercut my refund! I brought this up to the manager and she would not refund the difference. You know they are going to put the item back up on the shelf and charge the 20% more. The product was never opened. I have spent a good deal of money at Tuesday Morning and have brought several friends to the store. They lost a great customer! Melbourne, FL. store on Washington.

Sale paper had a George Foreman grill on sale on Sunday July 29, got there at 11 am the time they open up and only one person got one. They took everybody else name and phone number and said she would get them next week. It has been a week and nobody has called. This is no way to do this to customers.

The Tuesday Morning in Tallahassee, FL is a wonderful place to shop for gifts or household items. I bought a beautiful thick white bathroom rug that is absolutely gorgeous! The toys I bought for my daughter for Christmas were the same as you'd find in any other department store for about half the price! I got a Sonicare toothbrush for about 2/3 the price that I've seen them in other stores! Their selection of jigsaw puzzles is awesome for all ages, kids through adults. The store is very clean and well organized. The store manager, Andrea ** is so friendly and helpful. She was very knowledgeable. I will definitely be returning to buy more!

I've shopped in 4 different States for the past 10 years at Tuesday Morning. This is by far the best discounted store to shop if you are lucky to have one in your area or within reasonable driving distance. I highly recommend this store to anyone who has great taste looking for a great deal. Please know, if the item is 90% off it is not free, and I can assure you the music is not loud, and if it was it would never deter me from entering this amazing store who have dressed my beds in Italian lines, have given me beautiful holiday decor, outside comforts, gorgeous lighting, and some furniture accents that are still perfect after 10 years. Happy Shopping!!!

We "discovered" Tuesday Morning" through our daughter and daughter-in-law in October, found 3 reasonably local stores, and did much of our Christmas shopping at the Quakertown store. In sales ourselves, we have found service to be exemplary, treated as valued people, not just as customers. Granted, we are now Premier Club Regulars, and shop their sales diligently, but for $10-$20 gift items, small appliances, and holiday wares, they are next to impossible to beat in price and quality (I compare pricing online in the store on larger items. "Suggested Retail" is always suspect, but Bottom Line Pricing is generally well below Amazon, etc).
The customer service - for us - matches their quality of merchandise. Nobody beats 1000, but so far, they are doing very well (no strikeouts to date!), and I attribute that to good management (Sinclair manages the store) and sales staff that knows what they are doing, and aim to please. That may be set at corporate, but it's still up to local management to support it, and up to sales staff to implement it. No names for staff shared here, although we know many of them on a first name basis, but turnover seems very low, and interaction between the employees and customer is excellent.
We shop at Quakertown because it's close, AND the service keeps us loyal, but we have also had good experiences at the Chalfont store, and the Allentown-South Whitehall store, which is located next to a recently-closed K-Mart store. Merchandise quality varies from store to store, and we find Quakertown and Chalfont to have the best quality merchandise. No commercial intended here, but good retailers earn our business. If they don't, we move on.

Every TM I have gone to in North Texas offers different experiences. I just wish TM Corp. could make it a policy across the board at all store locations that if an item rings up $0.00 that is what the customer pays, $0.00. I went to the TM in Rockwall, TX, and they had a shopping cart with items labeled for 90% off. The yarn that wanted rang up at the register for $0.00, the clerk never had that happen to her before. (I did explain to her that at all of the other TM I have shopped at, they would give it to me for that price $0.00). But she insisted that it wasn't right that I had to pay for it anyway.
I did pay $0.49 for it, but for me it was the principle of the matter. That at other TM stores I had never had this issue. Just thought you guys should figure something out. You will see that on the receipt they labeled it as "other" which is incorrect, because when it rang up it rang up the right way as it was on the price label. I do wish to get my money back, $0.53 (0.49 x 8.25% tax = 0.53).

Since when does it need to be stated that someone is over 65? I am over 65 but certainly feel as though I could be a customer service rep. I shop at Tuesday Morning a lot and even travel to the Dallas area from Sherman Texas to shop. I am very satisfied with the service. Yes, over 65 and can drive 65 miles to shop. Does this surprise you?

Recently visited the store in Tallahassee, Florida and I received the absolute best customer service from a young lady named Raven who worked there. I came in on a Sunday and it was very busy that day. She was patient with me and helped me with all of my questions and concerns. She even helped my mom who is 88 years old around the store in a wheelchair. Her outstanding service and gratitude is the main reason we will continue to shop at Tuesday Morning. When I visit this store again I hope to receive her help once again.

I am so surprised by the number of critical comments about Tuesday Morning. The one in Mentor, Ohio is great. Customer service is very nice. I have never had to return anything yet. The selection of craft items is super and the price is very nice. I have bought a few pillows in the past and they were very nice. To the person who commented about having to give an ID when using a debit card, shame on you. This is why prices have skyrocketed because of people who steal. This is one way to prevent card fraud. I have always shown my ID when using a credit card and or debit card without having to be asked and have chastised Dillards for not asking for my license. Matter of fact I am off the TM now. I am going to pluck a few bills from the money tree out back!!!

Went in to return a ruana shawl given to me last weekend for my birthday. Manager was called to counter as I didn't have a receipt. TM's corporate return policy for all stores is to offer exchange or store credit for returns without a receipt. Manager named Carol was inept at even working the register. Examined the shawl as if looking for fleas. And... in a word... Was utterly incompetent as a manager. Behaved as if I was about to steal bread from her grandchildren's mouths (Yes. She was way over 65). And then began blasting me AS IF she were the customer who was just offended by my behavior! Do NOT frequent this store at Ford and Sheldon if you can at all avoid it. Manager Carol is seriously ill... And I don't mean with the flu!

CAN'T BELIEVE I'VE BEEN DISCRIMINATED AGAINST AND MY CHARACTER DEFAMED! I went in and shopped at Tuesday morning on Briarcliff Rd. location and as I was completing my transaction more employees started to come to the register. By the time that I completed my transaction there were 3 employees at the register. One took my check and license and wrote my info on the check while another one told the other to make a copy of my receipt and asked the young lady if she got everything off my license. He said ** people don't spend money like that! WHAT! He proceeded to reprint my receipt and get the check and went to the back room with it. I felt super uncomfortable and was offended by the treatment of my transaction. It was so bad that one employee asked if I needed help to my car and he even said he see why I felt that way because he would've felt that way too.
I found some items cheaper online and went the next day to return those items and was declined to do so. I spoke with the assistant manager all the way to corporate and all one would do is call that store and come back to tell me the same thing. I was returning $250 in merchandise and the store policy states that I can but they told me I had to do a corporate check which could take 2 weeks! WHAT THE **! They were so rude and disrespectful to me until it was unbelievable. I was told when I contacted another store that my transaction had been discussed throughout all the area stores and everyone was advised not to do a return for me because they believe my check was bad! If that was the case why would I attempt to bring the merchandise back? That would be very dumb but you best believe that I have something for that.

The Tuesday Morning store located at 4490 Chamblee Dunwoody Road, Dunwoody, GA 30338. Usually the staff at this store location is pleasant, helpful, courteous, and competent. I was just there and had three items to purchase. What I assume was the store manager or assistant manager finally came upfront to help the one cashier ring up customers. She acted as if my existence was a personal inconvenience for her.
After ringing up the purchase she told me the chip reader in the credit card machine did not work and to swipe the card. I did... but because the card was chipped it naturally would not accept the strip reading and she informed me I would need to punch in the # and information... I then explained if the store was not equipped to do business then they should not be open and that the customers should not have to do cashier duty. I told her there were plenty of other retail sores equipped to actually do business without making it a tedious experience for shoppers and that I did not need the items and I would go elsewhere and walked out without the merchandise. I suggest Tuesday Morning either get their act together and have functional equipment and pleasant staff or be prepared to go out of business...

An employee was so rude in her response when I suggested the Lindt Candy display was in the window and would melt with the heat coming through the glass. Her response was that they had many intelligent employees that would figure out the best way to display items. I had no response to that remark. Her name was Patricia and she was at the Cypresswood Parkway and Champions location in Houston, TX.

This store in Tucson AZ on Ina Rd and Shannon is horrible. The manager's name is Liz and she is a worthless piece of space. She never returned any of my phone calls and when I called her she was plain stupid. Has no idea how to do her job. Then I went in to shop and that was a mistake. I stood at the counter for over 10 minutes before anyone noticed I was even there to check out. And even then the associate answered the phone with me standing there and didn't even thank me for my business. Just handed me a receipt and went on with the call. This manager Liz is ridiculous. Doesn't know a thing about customer service.
Oh and when I called the district manager Laura to complain she basically blew me off too. Said she would call me by Friday and here it is Wed of next week I had to call her. Then she didn't even know why I was calling. She took no responsibility for anything. She said it was up to me. And I did follow up but this is where it got me. SCREW YOU TUESDAY MORNING. YOUR COMPANY AND THE PEOPLE WHO WORK FOR YOU SUCK!!!

I was surprised to see the reviews about rudeness of staff at some of the stores. I am "new" to Tuesday Morning, having been there maybe only three times. However, the employees have always been friendly and welcoming there. They ask if I need help finding something, offer to get items down from a high shelf, etc. Maybe the staff in other areas, if indeed they are that "rude", need to take lessons from the people who work at the Stow, Ohio store!

Returned my items that were purchased by debit card 3 weeks prior. Was not informed by the clerk that it could take 5 to 7 business days before my credit would be posted to my bank account. This information was received by calling Tuesday Morning's Customer Service Center @800-457-0099. Upon speaking with a representative there, she stated the return is dependent upon your bank releasing the funds back to me. Ha, it's when Tuesday Morning sends the ACH to my bank. Clearly this needs to be changed. I feel cheated as a customer because not only do you have your merchandise back, by now I have to wait for Tuesday Morning to decide when they want to refund my money. Buyer Beware!! If you shop here, use cash only!!! Tuesday Morning can't hesitate returning that!!!

Yesterday morning I shopped at the Tuesday Morning store located in the Brighton Park Shopping Center, Frankfort, Kentucky. I have been in this same store NUMEROUS times, but yesterday will probably be my LAST visit! The employees have NEVER been very friendly, to say the least, but one in particular tops this list! Like some of the other posts/reviews, they must be trained to be very COLD and NON-FRIENDLY to their CUSTOMERS (the people SPENDING their HARD EARNED MONEY -- isn't that why you are in business?)! And like in previous posts, the employees always seem to be more interested in talking to each other instead of being focused on the needs of their customers!
But yesterday I was treated VERY RUDELY by **. I have NEVER been asked to show my ID when using my debit card in the past, but this time she demanded that I do, and when I asked if it was a new policy, she said "no, because the back of the card was not signed." Well, it was signed (was worn due to frequent swipes, I suppose) but when I pointed it out, she very RUDELY said "I can't read that." She made me feel like a criminal. I called the store after I got home, but am not satisfied with the result! ** needs to work on her people skills IF she plans to stay in this line of work.

I have been in most of the stores in the Kansas City area for a couple specific items that they put on sale and are not available on the first day or anytime during the sales. After getting rude management remarks, it ends up that they are trained to be that way by their district manager Kim. I talked with her and wow--she represents the worst of people in retail. Just because of Kim, I will never enter another Tuesday Morning and will pass on my feelings to as many people as possible through Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.

Arrived at store on Sunday Nov. 29th at 9:40 am 20 minutes before store opened. For a specific sale item. Which she had no idea where the throws were, the ones on sale for 4.99. She said that it was not on the chart, which shows where the items are located. After an hour of waiting to locate the throws with no luck, she takes my name and phone number, the number of throws I wanted and colors. Promises she will locate them and call me to pick them up. Well no call came! I call the store today thinking it's a busy time of the year. Everyone is busy, she just had no time to call. No Worries she'll have them for me. The women who picks up the phone said they have sold out. And YOUR sales person has not set any aside for me.
There was No! I'm sorry! No! explanation for this mishap. Just "we have none!" I'm outraged over this. I was the first person at the store for this SALE! Thanks! Just for the record Prescott is a small town of mostly retirees and you can bet that word travels quickly here! This is just poor business. Don't say you will do something that you had no intention of following through on! Oh! I was not the only customer that she took name and phone number from. Also! I called your customer service I have typed this entire letter and created an account. Guess what I'm still on hold 51:00 minutes later. Your office closed at 5:00pm that was 14:00 minutes ago. Still on HOLD. Someone explain that! Hanging up phone now. Merry Christmas!

I have read all these complaints, mostly by those who do not have even a rudimentary grasp of the English language, and I wonder how my experience can be so different from those described. I shop in both the Granite Bay, CA., and Citrus Heights, CA stores. Sometimes I visit the Rocklin store, and I must say that in all three places, I have had great service by friendly people. I always find something to buy. I like the products, and have never regretted a single purchase. The employees have never been rude to me, and if I must make a return, things have always gone well. I think that in many parts of the country, it may be difficult to find educated, hard-working people to work for close to minimum wage. And we can all thank Obama for the cutting of hours to part-time: that is happening all across the country in every industry. Employers cannot afford the required benefits to be paid to full-time employees. I wish everyone well.
