Bought a computer - went to blue screen in first month. Office Depot will not honor warranty or replacement. Made 14 phone calls and no call backs. Supervisors lied in call. Having to file small claims.

I bought an HP 6000 inkjet printer from Home Depot three years ago. There was no one to help me, and no one wanted to check me out. I asked about ink and they said I could always buy ink cartridges from them, but there were none in stock. When I set up my printer, I was offered a six month FREE subscription to HP Instant Ink. It was free and I was guaranteed to be able to change or cancel my subscription at any time.
I don't use the printer that often and in three years was only sent one black and one RGB ink cartridge, despite a monthly charge. I cancelled the subscription. Now I find I can't use the printer because software was installed preventing any printer use without being connected to the internet and the HP subscription service, even though I am using the cartridges sent through the subscription. Customer service at OD doesn't exist unless you want to buy something. HP has no means of leaving a review without a subscription.

I bought the ink online, and then I want to return it in store. But they cannot take care of it, they said something wrong with the system. Also waste my time almost a hour. I'm never ever buy anything from Office Depot again

Bought an HP laptop online. Would not return the item in store for a refund. When I finally gave up and just had them send me a shipping label, they did not clear my refund. They posted it at my bank and did not release it. So now I'm calling back AGAIN… trying to find my refund.
B: brought the unit to office depot to see if they could repair, they refused and said they did not know how.
C: refund times take a really long time so just be prepared to wait WEEKS and call multiple times to follow up because lord knows they aren’t.

I called customer service due to needing help with an online order. The first man I spoke with hung up on me because I asked for help with my order. I called back and spoke with another man. He tried to help but put me on hold for 38 min. Then a woman came on and asked if she could help. I explained that I was on hold and waiting for Jim to get back to me. She told me there was no one named Jim and hung up on me. I have never had a worse experience contacting customer service for help.

I am so displeased with Office Depot Customer Service. I purchased a Laptop in 8/28/2023. Got got the year tech support for $79.99, which I really didn't need and I never used. When it came around for renewal in 7/2024 I got a reminder from Office Depot stating that the tech support will renew on 8/28/2024 and the price will be $129.99. Immediately I went to my acct on Office Depot to cancel the subscription and could not, did not find no subscription nor payment card info on my profile, so I called Office Depot and spoke to CS rep and from there my subscription was canceled, but would still be active until 8/28/2024.
Then on 8/27/2024 I get an alert Text from my bank about a transaction asking do I authorize $129.99 from Office Depot? Of course I text No and my bank acct was mark as FRAUD and I could not use it. I immediately called Office Depot and got to the bottom of the matter and they stated that it is canceled and does not know why that happen sent me another cancelation letter VIA email. HERE is the FRAUD part!! Office Depot again tried taking $129.99 out of my Acct a total of 5 times 8/29/24, 9/5/24, 9/19/24, and 9/26/24 and every time I got an alert from my bank I said no I did not authorize this. I again called Office Depot and they acted like there wasn't no attempted and I kept getting hung up on. My bank acct was locked. I could not withdraw from the ATM acct.
Finally I gave up and filled a fraud claim and closed my acct I had for yrs because this was what my bank suggested. This is unacceptable and I wish I knew what more could be done to stop this. I was without a debit card for 10 days. I had to change all my information that had anything to deal with that bank acct number, my daughter got married and I was traveling and had to change acct info because of this acct closure... Please do not trust OFFICE DEPOT with you banking information. Their customer service did not help at all. See attachments below...

I have (and am still having) a terrible time working with Office Depot. I ordered bulletin boards online and they arrived damaged. Managed to get that refunded. Ordered more but cancelled the order within 24 hours. Somehow, that order was already out the door (despite being told I could not expect delivery earlier than a month from then) and could not be stopped. I returned it. I was only refunded half the amount I should have been and am still fighting with OD for the second half. I have now spent 2.5 hours on the phone (and counting) without resolution. This has been an AWFUL experience and the product was completely disappointing, as well (which is why I returned it). I will literally never do business with OD again.

Office Depot is the worst store to purchase anything, their prices are outrageous, and lord forbid you return anything because if you pay with a debit card they tell you in the store that your refund will be on your card by the next day, that's a lie, it takes 7 days before it's on your card, so I will never shop at office depot again, it's ridiculously overpriced, and the customer service is a joke. Don't pay for anything with a card cause you won't have your money back until a week later. I rate them a zero if I could.

Upon ordering a laptop online for in-store pickup, I encountered a double charge that has placed me in a financial predicament. My attempts to reach customer service resulted in conversations with multiple agents, each providing inconsistent responses.

When I finally was able to communicate with customer service, they initially offered me the "rewards" back, rather than an actual refund. (It turns out that when I purchased two items at once, they had applied my "rewards" to the item they canceled and did not deliver). They subsequently agreed to refund me most of the purchase price, with a few extra "rewards" for my headache. I'm raising my star rating to 3; I have previously had no problems with Office Depot and am hoping this is a one-time glitch.

Normally Office Depot has been good about online ordering, but yesterday, I ordered an item. The website offered next day-delivery for a $4.99 fee. Today I received a text saying my delivery had been canceled, and I needed to contact a local store (which after 20 minutes never answered the phone). I had to try several different times and eventually reached a person who said I would be refunded in 5 to 7 business days, though the website still shows the order as pending and being shipped.

I visited the Office Depot at 281/Henderson Pass and the help I received was amazing! I needed to print some pictures urgently as gifts and both Tobby and Maika were extremely helpful and professional! They were able to get my photography needs enlarged and printed quickly and beautifully! If I ever need any business or personal items in a pinch, I would absolutely used their services again! Great experience by people who know what customer service looks like…Thanks, ladies!!!

Been trying to return a laptop purchased online for 15 days now, truck suppose to come pick it up, laptop was outside on porch for days, no truck. I asked for return label so I could send it. UPS haven't received label in email for days. Was told supervisor will call me back in 30 minutes, 3 different times never happened, called closest store 2 hours away, they send email to customer service and have not gotten reply yet. I still have laptop, still haven't gotten my money back, worst customer service in my life

Yesterday I went to your establishment and the ** lady at the counter very tall was very rude, disrespectful and act like she didn’t want to be there. If she don’t wanna be there she don’t need to be working there. This was on 8/26/2024 at 11:15. Me and another woman we were talking about how rude she is. Don’t make no sense how you gonna be rude to me when I’m spending my money in your establishment. She didn’t give me no receipt. My fault. I should’ve got one.

I had an Office Depot reward certificate that’s expiring on Aug 31st, 2024. I tried to use it in the beginning of August and found out it’s been fraudulently used by someone at a store in the state of Illinois. I chatted with customer service twice on their website and explained the situation. They either just pretended they didn’t understand what I was talking about or they don’t know what to do in that situation. I just feel unsafe being an Office Depot customer when anyone could use my reward at any time without any consequences. Customer service is a joke. I have been shopping at Office Depot since the opening of my business 17 years ago and I will shop somewhere else from now on.

He always gives me outstanding customer service and if it wasn’t for ** helping me today I could not have finished my task. This guys is very knowledge in what he does. I would like to give 0.5 stars to Office Depot/Iron Mountain. I ordered empty shredding bins from them, they charged me and never delivered the bins. Iron Mountain states that they never received an order from Office Depot and when I was cancelling the order Office Depot wanted to charge me again for the same product that was never delivered!

I purchased a tablet online and realized just after I purchased the tablet it would not work for with my phone carrier. I called to cancel it 15 mins after I purchased the tablet and was told I could not cancel it because it was already in progress. I was told it would ship, to refuse the shipment which I could not be. I work and would not be there to refuse it. Once I received the tablet I called to get a return. Because it was from a 3rd party supplier they would have to request a return. That took almost 2 weeks to get all I kept getting was the run around. Finally got a supervisor after 3 weeks to get this return picked up. I was told be one of the representatives that I would receive my refund once the tablet got picked up which was not the case. I had to wait 7 to 10 more business days to get my money back.
This has been almost a month of dealing with this return, you have to product back but I have yet to get my $300 return back. This is the most ridiculous way to run a business or customer service. All because it is from a 3rd party vendor. But I bought from Office Depot gave my money to office depot, not the 3rd party vendor. You have had my money for almost a month! I do not recommend buying anything offline from home depot because if you need to return it, it is the worst experience ever! I am still waiting on my refund that I am sure I will have to call back the customer service number yet again about for the 10th time. You need a better process for items purchased online, they should be able to be returned to the store and you ship it back to your 3rd party vendor. It is not the consumer's problem to have this excuse given.

Ordered copy paper online for $49. Later message from Office Depot stopped the order. I needed paper now and bought elsewhere and wrote return my $49. Instead office depot shipped the order they would not ship. Paper arrived in bad not useable shape, ripped. We will not do business with them again. I have to buy another printer and laptop for my firm. Will buy it elsewhere. No receipt was delivered.

I ordered a poster to be made from a picture I had. I ordered it in the Merritt Island store but had to do the order online because apparently, Office Depot doesn't accept walk-in orders anymore. It's was to be a gift for my daughter-in-law while she is here visiting. This is usually a 1 to 2-hour job (not difficult at all) some how Office Depot completely screwed it up, then they misplaced the order. This is a time-sensitive order because my daughter-in-law is leaving on Sunday so I need it today or yesterday when I placed the order!
Office Depot doesn't have the order even when I supply them with the order number. It sad that this business, in less than a years time has become so incompetent; in November of 2022 I could walk in, place an order with the printing area and get my posters or whatever and walk out within an hours time. Now they are too incompetent to even start the order let alone complete the order. So I will have to start a refund process and find a place that can complete this simple job and if you live in this area you'd know that there aren't many businesses that do this type of work.
I should have known that it was going to be a hassle because I had so many problems placing the order with them online. It seemed that when they had real people doing the work instead of computers, it was easier to get things done and there were fewer mistakes. Office Depot like so many other businesses are replacing people with machines that obviously can't think so they screw up continuously!

Do not fall for the next day delivery. Ordered 4 days ago and order still not received. I did not receive any contact as to why the order has not been processed. Finally got in touch with customer service and was told it would not be until one day next week before it could be delivered. I requested that the order be cancelled but was told since the order had been sent to the warehouse it could not be cancelled. NEVER again.

Every time I go to conduct my business there, I am always greeted with a smile and his professionalism. When I have a question or need assistance, he is always available. Order # **. Brother Printer MFC-L5915DW to be delivered on by June 18, 2024 was not received until June 20, 2024. Toner ordered with it was received. Called customer service to ask status. The 1st person hangup. 2nd person was not even listening. Finally, she understood my order was not received. After checking stated there is a 3-day delay and that I would receive the order June 21, 2024, and I should receive an email with delivery information which after checking has not been received. Beware before ordering online with Office Depot. This will be my first and last online order with Office Depot. Very bad communication concerning order.

I bought an electric sit/stand desk in 2020, two months before the pandemic was declared. The control panel lasted 4 years, for which I started looking for the replacement, when I found out the electric box was on recall. They sold the desks without telling the customers that. Now, I'm trying to at least buy the spare part and the only way I have to ask for information without getting the call hung up, which is the Chat, tells me I have to but a whole desk because they don't sell parts. I really hope not having to buy anything else from this company, the customer service is the worst I have experienced.

Do not expect a smooth return. I ordered a headset that was not compatible and immediately requested a return. It went well and 2 weeks later I received a check. This was for $17.02 to reimburse the cost of the postage. I called. The agent agreed they received the merchandise 2 weeks earlier and that my card had not been credited but she could not help me. She could "escalate" it to the "back end" and someone would email me in 24 hours. Yes, I got an email. I was promised by a 3rd party company "Veyer" that my card refund takes 21 days for the "financial institution" to process. Scammers. Office Depot should be ashamed of allowing their contracted vendor to force consumers to hound them for the proper refund in a timely manner.

They FALSELY advertise "Next Day Delivery" and NEVER DELIVER! Talking company depending copy paper that was completely out of. HAD ME ON CHAT FOR OVER AN HOUR AND TRANSFERRED ME 5 TIMES, forcing me to constantly reply to their copy-paste comments of "Hi" Sorry for the issue, I'll be glad to help"... etc etc etc. If you do NOT reply to each agent on the same 50 comments, they DISCONNECT YOU... NEVER giving you any resolution.

I took a wheelchair van there for a FedEx Priority mailing. I have multiple sclerosis. The documents were for a senior living property. They needed them as soon as possible. You cannot put a price on it. The Office Depot clerk tried to talk me into a regular USPS mailing. I finally got ushered into a base FedEx mailing and then out the door. The delivery ended up being scheduled on a day the the place is closed.

This place is amazing! I’m very happy to be connected to a place where I can get pc products for a great price from printer in to paper and printers!! Got my mom a Mother’s Day gift from here. I had a problem with printer ink, I sent it back and they sent me a new one in a fast and easy process! Thank you! This place has made things much easier for me! Huge sigh of relief.

I ordered two book covers and the bags were delivered the next day. However, one of the bags was empty. These bags were not closed, and one was probably upended in the truck. I would recommend stapling your bags shut before sending them out.

I had a horrible experience with my OfficeDepot delivery. We have been getting deliveries to our business for years, include large amounts of paper. Usually, they bring the paper into the office, as instructed. Today however, the delivery person dropped the delivery and boxes of paper on wet concrete, rang the doorbell and ran. I rushed after him (maybe 15 seconds later) made eye contact, waving him down while repeatedly asking him to stop/wait... And instead he got back in the truck, turned on the gas and he sped off. I was in shock, still am. When I contacted customer service they said "I'll let my supervisor know" and only after I told them they would lose our business if they didn't reach out to me, did she ask for my contact information. Absolutely shameful.

TERRIBLE. I hope you see this before buying from Office Depot. They only delivered a tabletop, no legs for the table and no hardware. It has been a month, after reaching out twice each week, they still have not A) picked up the tabletop that is 90 lbs and is a liability in my office space and B) they still have not reimbursed me for $232. A complete scam. Seriously- do not buy from here. This is the first time I've ever written a poor review for a company. I hope this helps someone.

Hi, I am a frequent customer, I am in sales and frequently go to Office Depot to print and or bound proposals. I went on 04/23/2024 at 11:45am to Schaumburg, IL store #3360, I needed a proposal just to be bounded, usually 3-5 minutes, I walked up to the print desk and there were 3 employees conversing, small talk not office depot related, I asked if I can get the proposal bounded, the one gentleman said I can drop it off and pick up at 6pm, I said I'm not from this area and live over one our away, I asked if he can just do it quickly for me, He proceeded to say say he can for a rush fee of $25.00, I said seriously, none of you are working on anything at that time, they just laughed so I walked out. I will never return to this store again. Whatever happened to customer service?

The return policy is terrible. Office Depot states that their stores accept online returns, but when a return of an online order was attempted, we were turned away and advised that the stores do not accept the return of online orders. Additionally, their website does not accurately provide a description of their items as the item that arrived was not as expected, therefore they falsely advertised the product. I also called their customer service line and was given the run around. The customer service representative was not very helpful and only provided me with a claim number and then abruptly ended the call thereafter.

If you are going to buy office supplies stay away from Office Depot. Order two toner cartridges from Office Depot when I went to use them found out I order the wrong ones. No problem right? Only a week since deliver. So I go to their website to get a return label. No such thing. I called they said a third party shipped the item and would contact me with 24 hours. Three days later nothing. Call back and they said they would contact the third party. Then they want pictures. I sent the pictures. Three more days go by and I call again. This time they ask for UPC label and part number. They should be able to know this from my order. Never again, buy from Amazon, Staples, Walmart, anywhere returns are easy. Would give zero for stars if they would let you.

I signed up for a 30-day free trial of the Business Select Program and was told I could cancel during that period without a fee. I went to the website and cancelled a week or so later, but was still charged $49.99 at the end of the 30 days. I called the phone number on the emailed receipt and was put on hold for 32 minutes, then told by a recording to enter a "mailbox number". When I couldn't enter one, the line was disconnected. I found a different phone number online and have now been on the line for 46 minutes trying to get this resolved. This seems to be a SCAM. By purposely making it this difficult to cancel, people give up and Office Depot/Office Max keeps the money. Stay away from this program and this company!

I wanted to share the HORRIBLE experience I had with Officedepot.com! I order ink cartridges to be delivered because it's a busy time, tax season. The package had my address on it but inside were a pair of sheers. I called expecting an apology and promise to expedite my ink. Not what happened, the call center supervisor, Poda said policy is we will cancel your order AFTER the sheers have been picked up, which soonest was in 6 days. THEN, I would have to replace the order. Terrible experience! I called Amazon had the ink delivered SAME day!!!! Never use officedepot.com. Note: Store mgr was empathic, but I still have to go to the location.

I was looking a self adhesive laminating sheets package. I asked Theresa who was at the print section and introduced herself as the manager, where I can find them? She said on the wall. I asked her if she could show me please? She raised her voice on me and said "I told you on the wall." I am a doctor and do not need any one who probably do not even have a high school diploma to raise her voice on me, the customer. SHE NEEDS To GET FIRED. Do yourself a favor and do not shop here. Thank you.

Port Richey location US 19. Supposed to have FedEx inside for drop off shipping and picking up. I generated a digital code for dropping off my Walmart online return. The self-proclaimed manager told me they do not accept this type of return at the store. Huge FedEx signs on the outdoor windows, the internet has this FedEx location option, as well as Walmart.com allowing digital returns or printed labels at all FedEx locations. Female manager during the day was rude, immature and completely disrespectful, unprofessional to senior customer with sight issues. Was told I would be charged for printing my label, then later was told I would be charged for shipping my package. All of this is supposed to be done free through Walmart.com using FedEx.
When I got on my phone and tried to call Walmart to maybe have them send an email so we could print the label. I asked the manager for assistance helping me read some numbers and letters that I could not see. I chose this office so I could have a printed label so they could help me as I was told they were supposed to do. I asked her three times and she refused. The manager also got upset when I said, "Oh my God" in Spanish, rolled her eyes, got huffy and puffy and said forget it and walked away from me. Apparently you are not allowed to speak Spanish even if you're born in America at this Port Richey location. After speaking with the people at customer service on the phone, they told me that I could drop off my package here for FedEx and did not have to pay for a label to be printed and should not have to pay for shipping.
They couldn't understand why this Office Depot didn't take my package with the code that was digital. Neither could the Walmart employee on the telephone. Again as they were supposed to do all of the above. The cynical Office Depot manager's behavior towards me. The entire 40 minutes I was in the store was baffling. So I left without sending back my package to Walmart through this Office Depot with FedEx. Feeling very discriminated at Office Depot in Port Richey. I did find another employee in shipping who took over for the manager who did help me read those letters and numbers that I could not see and he did say I did not have to pay for dropping a package off at FedEx. I did not have to pay for printing a label but he did say they did not accept the QR code that Walmart was having everyone set up for FedEx locations. August 22, 2023, ordered two cases of bathroom cleaner from ODP online via Amazon. They advertised 3 - 1gal bottles to a case for $59.58 per case. I received the order, but only 1 bottle was in the box. I contact ODP asking where the other two bottles were. They said they mistakenly advertised it wrong and would give me a full refund and I could keep the product. I thought this was great and how a true company would respond. Since then, I have repeatedly reached out asking where is our credit. They keep apologizing and saying they reissued it and will hit the card within 3 to 7 business days, then claim they won't give the full credit but only half and I have to return to the product.
The product has been used, as this has been going on for months and I was first promised a full credit and to keep the product. They then said ok - a full credit. Still waiting! They continue to spew this nonsense now for almost six months. And, Amazon does nothing about it. I have repeatedly let Amazon know and all they do is send an auto reply saying they received my complaint. Amazon also declined to post my complaint, which only stated the facts, so I wonder what is going on with the relationship between ODP and Amazon. Both companies should reevaluate how they treat and respond to their customers. I will continue to ask for our credit. ODP seems to have thousands of complaints online. Amazon should step up and make this right or remove ODP as one of their third-party sellers.

We bought our HP printer from Office Depot. We always buy our ink cartridges from them as well. Lately, the printer cartridges fail with very little use with an error that the printer has detected a counterfeit ink cartridge. In the past, when I have had this problem, I have taken the cartridge back to Office Depot and they have allowed me to get a new cartridge or have refunded my money. Yesterday, I got the worst manager possible. She informed me that I had one month to bring the ink cartridge back. Never mind the fact that I do not print that much, and the cartridge showed that there was 3/4 of the ink supply left and would no longer print. She was adamant that it was store policy to only allow returns within a month.
When I explained that I had spent over $50 for this cartridge and had got minimal use out of it and I expected a refund, she had a very condescending attitude and looked up my rewards account. She told me that since I had only made three purchases in the last year, she could not do anything. We used to spend a lot of money with Office Depot for school projects and school supplies for my kids, but they are now in college, so our expenditures have tapered off. Nevertheless, we have been good Office Depot customers in the past. She finally begrudgingly agreed to refund my money, but she did not refund me for the full amount of the purchase. She refunded my credit card for $34.63 only when the initial purchase was $53.14. I am not happy with her handling of the situation nor with how she treated me. I will not be going back to Office Depot for anything, even though it is the most convenient office supply store in my area.

In the last 6 months I have had poor experience with our local (Amarillo TX) store. I ordered a file cabinet (2 file drawers plus 1 utility drawer). Ordered online. It was delivered later that day, but the wrong item was delivered. (only two drawers) I then had to return it and get the right cabinet. They had the proper cabinet in stock. They gave me the cabinet and charged me for it. They then had to process the return. It took three months to get the refund. Whenever I went in, no one knew how to follow up on this. (No manager) was ever available and the clerks probably had trouble getting to work.
A couple of months later I ordered a desk chair. It was delivered to the wrong address. I had to drive across town to get it because they couldn't figure out the procedure for picking it up and delivering to the correct address. Last week I went into the store for lable maker tape. It would not scan at the register. They then scanned the wrong item (larger tape and more expense). They then had to clear that out and start all over. After I got home I found that not only did I get the tape I wanted and the price was correct, they put the wrong larger tape in my bag as well.... And didn't charge for it. I wonder how these people find their way to work each morning

I ordered Turbo Tax software from Office Depot and have done so for the past 5 plus years. I ordered online and the option on my purchase was cd or download. I paid and was not given an option for download and received an email that my cd would arrive in 2 days. I called customer service and waited for 25 minutes. A representative came on the line and asked for my customer number and my name, then asked what they could help me with. I gave her the information and began telling her my issue after about a minute the phone just cut off. I have not had an issue with dropped calls on my end and none before this one. I called back and had to wait about 15 minutes and after explaining to the next customer rep my issue she informed me that the download was discontinued and cancelled my order. I then ordered a version that was download only and it was supposed to be for a mac or a pc.
When I received my link there was only an option for PC not Mac. I called customer service again and held for 31 minutes before a customer service rep came on the line. They asked me the information again which I gave them and I was less than a minute into my explanation when the phone call dropped again. I called back and waited another 16 minutes before someone came on the line. She got the information again and I gave her my phone number and asked that she call me back if the call dropped. I was able this time to get my full explanation and she apologized and sent me an email that I could not download from. She said that I would receive an email within an hour with a link that worked.
I have not received the email yet but whether it works or not this experience was totally unacceptable. It should not be this difficult to download a software purchase and you should not have to spend that amount of time waiting to speak to customer service. Also, they had my account information and never attempted to call me back either time the call dropped. I will never purchase software from Office Depot again.

I purchased this desk for a new office. The day of delivery they falsely stated it was delivered. When I called they promised to redeliver. Never showed up. When I called again, they "refunded" the order and charged me again for a new order. Tracking stated they "could not find" the business. Contacted again and was promised everything was straightened out and delivery would be made on 1/3. I called the morning of 1/3 to confirm delivery because tracking stated it had not shipped yet. They confirmed. Couple hours later they send an email stating they attempted delivery. FRAUD!! I HAVE WAITED ALL DAY FOR THEM. They are costing me and my business money because I trusted they would deliver the products purchased. DON'T WASTE YOUR BUSINESS' TIME!

I ordered coffee K-Cups online. I texted to ask if it was too late to add an item. The person without asking me modified my order and made it so the $54.15 I already paid did not show. It was taken from my account. They said to order again and wait for a refund. I don’t have enough $ left to do so and my bank is still not showing it refunded. 3 calls and no one could find a supervisor. 4th call, after waiting 45 minutes for supervisor they disconnected the call.

Placed an order online order on Friday, get confirmation that it is ready a hour later. Show up 3 days later to pick it up and they don't have part of it. Tried to substitute a smaller sized item for the one I purchased. The Customer Service by the manager on duty was horrible. This is not the first time I've placed an order online for it not to be available when I arrived at the store. No one pulls orders as they come in apparently. Order cancelled since they didn't have it. Website showed the return was processed on Tuesday. Thursday my account is still not credited. As I am on the phone with the On-Line customer service and she tells me it was processed... that's when I get a message from them that the return is being processed. Coincidence? I think not. I'm betting that there would be no return of funds if I didn't ask.

Office Depot advertises $30 Instant Savings on an HP printer with any printer trade-in, but fails to reveal there is a $28 cost for a recycle box. This is learned after the trade-in is brought into the store and brought to store check out with a new printer. Reality: The Instant Savings is only $2. I wish zero star was available.

I called The Mesa location at Southern ave June 16, 2023 at around 11am wanting help with my order to place online on their website and the manager hang up on me as a client very rudely, refused to help me since "She has no tendency to work with me over the phone." WORST SERVICE EVER. Office depot should not be appreciated hiring such employees to deal with their clients. I vote with my money and no matter how urgent, I will not use their franchise again.

I made an online order for some medical supplies that I needed for my disabled wife in early March 2023. To date I have received 15 different emails stating that my product has been received and they are working on getting it shipped out to me. In addition, the 15 different emails all keep pushing the expected delivery date out another week. I have called customer service 4 different times and sent them an email. I received a response to my email that stated that my issue would be elevated to the next level, yet have not received any explanation or help from the next level. I replied back to the original email twice and have not gotten a response back from the person who contacted me.
I am very disappointed with this company right now. They sure were quick enough about taking my money, but have not bothered to address any of my concerns. Before I forget, their customer service number and employees are horrible. They are in a room with other agents with lots of background noise, making it difficult to understand what they are saying ad they will put you on hold with no warning, making it seem like the call got dropped. My last experience on the phone lasted 45 minutes with no resolution. All I got was that my issue would be forwarded upon to the next level. Apparently this is what they tell you so they can end the call. I will probably not ever order from them again.

I placed 2 orders, each for a color laser printer. For both orders, I received a toner instead! How can they make a mistake on both orders? I've contacted them about the issue, and even uploaded pictures of the wrong items received. I've requested for them to send the correct product (laser printer) to me as a replacement and I will return the toners. Office Depot directed me to not mail back the toners directly. Instead, they said they will schedule a truck to pick up the items. I was hoping that they will also drop off the correct printer at the same time.
I followed the instructions and waited for the truck to come. No one came. It is now past the scheduled time frame, and still no one showed up to pick up. I have reached out to Office Depot again, requesting for them to please send me the printers to replace the toners, but haven't heard back from anyone yet. The lack of timely follow-ups and wrong instructions are very frustrating and unprofessional. My family need the printers for projects, and this delay have caused us a lot of inconveniences.

Never again. I went to my local store for foam backed photos for a trade show. I was told a 24 to 48 hour lead time then when I came in I was told I had to order online. Once I ordered online I found out that it was a much longer lead time as soon as I place the order. The next day I called to follow up to make sure they received it and to find out when it would ship and also to tell them how important it was, at that time I was told that it would be put in the system right then so it could be expedited. A few days later I received an email that said it shipped but no tracking number. A few days after that I called to follow up and it had been put on hold. I was told it would ship that day. The problem is, I may not make the trade show. I have all my small business money invested in this tradeshow, and the photos are the show. Office Depot can literally put me out of business because of gross incompetence. Never, never, never again. If I don’t receive my product, I will never forgive this company.

I call Direct Billing several times a week and they tell me that they will email or call me. They do Neither. I have been waiting on a refund. They tell me that the services have been approved and that the money will be in my account 7-10 days. Those days have went on for weeks. They act like they don’t even know what they are doing. Refund my money and let’s move on. This is RIDICULOUS.

Do not buy from this company. They are the absolute worst company to ever deal with. I placed an order back in December. Never received the item. Called a month later about 10 times and kept getting transferred to different departments. Was told that someone would return my call with information. Never received a call back. Called several more times and the customer service person issued a credit for the item and then I placed a new order with the credit. That was 12 days ago.
I called today and was hung up on by several customer service people. They have no answer as to why my order is showing processing after 12 days and told me they don't see where the order was assigned for delivery. This company is literally the worst company I have ever dealt with hands down!!! We buy a lot of products from them for our business usually but after going through this nightmare and several other incidents with no resolve we will take our business elsewhere!!! Horrible customer service. Nothing but issues with this company on every single order I have placed.

Office Depot is the worst Company I have ever bought from. Their Customer Service is horrible as well. I purchased items in December which has a 2 two delivery. The items never came after 5 days so I canceled the order and bought what I needed from a better Company. Lo and behold I was then charged for the items that were never delivered. I called Customer Service and was told I would be related 3 to 5 business days later. That day came and went and I was never rebated. Four days later my neighbor said my items were delivered at their house. But remember I canceled those items more than 10 days prior. I return the items to the store and are now being told they can't take them because they don't carry them in store. And was told to call customer service again. Ridiculous and Horrible Customer Service and Company.

I ordered an office desk from Office Depot. I would have just picked it up, but the only desk of my chosen model in the store said "Delivery Only." So, I left the location and placed the order online. I was promised a delivery date. The desk did not arrive. I called customer service which was a multi-hour commitment of time. I was given a second delivery date. The desk did not come. I devoted several more hours to calling customer service. I was given a new delivery date. They delivered an item on the date as promised. However, the item was a toner cartridge for a laser printer with a shipping sticker that identified it as a desk. That's right, they charged me for a nice executive desk, sent a printer cartridge that was labeled as a desk, and called it a day.
Again, I devoted several hours to their customer service system. They proposed that I wait for them to come pick up the printer cartridge. When they could verify that the printer cartridge was in their warehouse, then they would ship my desk. Oh, by the way, the desk is actually out of stock. Even though I went to one of their stores and saw the desk in stock, they maintain that there are none available. I suggested that they had stolen my money. At a minimum, they have committed fraud via incompetence. The customer service supervisor told me that I was overreacting. They charged me for a desk (10 days ago) and delivered a printer cartridge labeled as a desk. How is that not fraud? Booooo, Office Depot! Do better!
I have reported the transaction as fraud to my credit card company and ordered the desk from Amazon. I told Office Depot that their printer cartridge will be leaned up against my garage door where they left it, and they can come and get it whenever they want. If Office Depot is paying anyone to train their employees, they are getting ripped off. They should hire whoever trains the employees at Amazon or Capital One. The Capital One representative was spectacular! If you currently work for Office Depot, then you should quit and pursue a job with Amazon. There is no way that Office Depot can survive as a company with their current business practices. If you are in the market for office furniture, then do yourself a favor and order from Amazon. If you are dumb enough to order anything from Office Depot, then you will likely get what you deserve.

In October of 2022 I ordered a Mr. Coffee 3 piece mug set. The product arrived in a timely fashion, but contents were poorly packed and were chipped or broken completely. After contacting Office Depot customer service, I explained the poor packaging and asked for quality review before sending out the cups I was sent a second order at no charge. Again, everything inside was too damaged to use. I contacted customer service again, and again expressed the need for better packaging. Again, they sent me a box of broken cup pieces.
Upon requesting replacements, I discovered that they no longer had the product. I requested a refund, but the order had been sent at no charge, so no refund. After negotiations, I was promised a different cup set, and agreed to accept it. But at last they no longer carry that item either. They said they would credit me and I could order something else. The credit was for $0.00 because that replacement order was sent at no cost. What part of this is good service??? I called customer service again. Had to leave a message. No one has called me back! No one has responded to an email I sent! No one at Office Depot gives a hoot about my dilemma. Don't shop Office Depot if you expect them to care.

Placed an order. The promised delivery arrival date was Tuesday Dec.13, it never arrived. I checked status/tracking. It showed delivery was attempted but no one was there. A blatant lie as I sat home all day, no one came near my house or rang my bell. I contacted customer service via chat, after wasting 35 minutes with a clueless rep and numerous requests I was transferred to a supervisor who promised personal responsibility that I'll have it next day, Wed Dec 14. Of course it never arrived. I contacted customer service via the phone, was promised a supervisor will call me within 10 minutes, when still waiting for that call a lot later I called again. Was promised again that a supervisor will call me within 10 minutes, it's many hours later and still waiting for that call.

Ordered ink online on Dec 3rd, 2022. December 6th they claimed it was shipped and would be delivered. No delivery, no ink. Delivery just said it was at a shipping center, delivery pending. I called on 12/8/2022 and spoke to "Leslie" who said I would get an email from customer care department. No email received. I called back and asked to return it - I needed the ink - get a refund. The return was processed or so I thought on 12/8/2022. Leslie said it would take 3-5 days. Ok. On the 5th day, no refund in Paypal. I called again, spoke with someone else who said it would now take 7-10 business days.
I called Paypal and opened a dispute / case. Next day I get a call from customer care team who says the ink will be delivered today. I told them I already purchased it elsewhere, do not bother to ship, I want the refund this week. Now the order status is changed to "return processing" and today's date - 12/14/2022. It is unbelievable how badly they lie, all the mis-directed communication- you're talking to either Bots or outsourced people in Malaysia who are reading from a manual. You can barely understand them. I've ordered with Office Depot before and never any problem. Not sure what changed but they have lost my business. I don't recommend them at all.

I received a 20% discount coupon on FedEx Ground shipping. When I went to the Jordan Landing store (OfficeMax) in West Jordan, Utah to send an item to my daughter in Texas, there was another individual in line ahead of me. There were two cashiers manning the front store registers, but nobody came to help us. After five minutes the individual ahead of me left, and someone else entered the store to have some copy or print work done. I mentioned (loud enough for the cashiers to hear) that I'd been waiting for some time, but nobody seemed interested in helping me.
One cashier, in response to my comment said, "Oh, the print counter is closed. There should be someone here to help you in about 30 minutes or so!" I've heard this particular store is on the chopping block for closure, and after waiting for someone to help me for 20-30 minutes I can see why. Worst customer service I've ever had from Office Depot. Their online service isn't much better. Thankfully, there was a FedEx store a couple minutes away who helped me the moment I walked in. Of course, I didn't get the 20% discount, but nobody wasted my time, either.

I placed an order on 8/29 and expected it by 8/31. Was told it was out for delivery on 8/30 only to be returned because they ran out of time. Wasn't to be delivered again on 9/1. No package. Chatted and was told that if it didn't deliver on 9/1, they would refund me my money and get me the item free of charge. On 9/2 when asked about it they denied it. So I just cancelled the order. Was told the CC refund would take 3 to 7 business days and the check would take 3 to 4 weeks. Package arrived on 9/8. Being honest, I told office depot it had arrived and I wanted them to come pick it up. Was at that time told my refund was on hold because the refund was approved prior to the item being delivered. Now wouldn't you think if the order was cancelled they would contact the shipper? Also, what if the item was never delivered, when would I get my refund.
Very stupid statement by a supervisor if you ask me. I was then told that they would have to cancel the original refund and submit another one to get it faster. Of course then I was told that the refund would only be initiated once the item is received back at the warehouse and they would not be able to pick up the item for another 5 days. They also told me it could take up to 7 to 10 business days now to get the refund on my CC. While chatting, I was switched to several different agents as they professed it was a technical issue. I could have just not let them know the package was delivered and denied ever seeing it, but did that get me any a refund any faster? No. Will never shop there again. Worst customer service policies around. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this retailer.

Do not get delivery! On August 3rd, we bought a desk from Home Depot. Customer Service was very good. We left Happy. When placing the order we were told the delivery date was estimated to be Aug 8th. On Aug 10th we called to ask where the desk was. They stated that the order was accidentally cancelled (even though the tracking stated it was still en route). I told them fine they need to refund our card and we would purchase elsewhere, because they could not tell me when or if we would get it.?? They sent a confirmation number for our refund and said it would be 5-7 days to have it returned on card. On August 23rd we called and asked why our card had not been refunded and they said, "Oh it was cancelled." The refund was cancelled?
I asked by whom and they could not give me an answer. They reinstated a new confirmation number. Today I called, on Aug 29th to see where my refund is. They told me it was approved yesterday and would be 7-10 days. So, with this information, I would not buy any large purchases from them that you are not 100% confident you will keep or will be leaving with. Do not get any delivery from them. They cancel without telling you then they don't want to give your money back. I did get a new confirmation number but I'm not feeling confident that it will be refunded. I asked to speak to a supervisor but was told they are too busy and would call back. Still waiting. Not sure how to get my money back.

Purchased a laser jet black & white printer having 12 month warranty and purchased a two year Allstate Protection Plan. At 13 months, the printer gave a printout error message that the printer would soon not work, check your HP account. The account told me to take the printer to MicroCenter for repair. Having purchased the Allstate Protection Plan, I looked up APP, the search led to Square Trade. After six virtual & chat agents, and 1.5 hours, the Plan registration was located, and a copy of the full original receipt was requested via email. I believe HP obsoleted this printer, that Allstate aka Square Trade is a very poor investment.

The tool's user interface is easy to use and intuitive. Also, it provides reports such as utilization in real-time. This is something we have found very useful. And it is the best tool I have ever used. It's light and doesn't have a lot of systems behind it, so it is easy to operate. Unlike other resource scheduling software, it is a highly user-friendly tool and doesn't have any cumbersome functionalities.

I ordered moving boxes in early June, they were to be delivered the last week of June but then were delayed thru UPS. A month later they are still delayed and when I reached out to the online chat they couldn't help me at all so they had someone email me-all they did was give me the status that I'd already seen on UPS tracking. They have now ignored 3 email replies from me. If these boxes ever show up it will be at an address I have moved from and I will not even be able to return them to a local store to get a refund. The 800# offers no solution and no one returns emails or phone calls. I used to spend thousands a year for work and personal supplies but that will end because of a $112 order they refuse to refund.

I bought a computer chair as a gift for my father and they either sent me a return or just a broken chair. Every metal piece was rusted and both arms were different sizes. I called and it has been the worst experience trying to get a refund and trying to send it back to them. I am not even sure if I will get my $631 refund or if I will ever be able to send this chair back. Trying to get a return label has been such a run around. I originally waited 9 hours for a truck that never showed up to then be told "Oh we can give you a return label but we will just refund you".
It's been a week and no refund and I have no use for this broken chair. I'm still trying to get a return label to give them their chair back and 6 phone calls and 4 different text conversations later and I still can't get a label and I'm told different things like "We are waiting on UPS" or I'm just simply hung up on. I've never dealt with such horrible customer service. I will never shop at Office Depot in the future, they have lost my business after this experience.

I placed an order for some simple envelopes with our logo printed. There was no mention of them being out of stock nor did I get an email explaining that when I placed the order. Instead, I received an invoice and an estimated arrival date of July 5th, 2022. When the product did not arrive by the 6th and my order was still marked shipping I ask what the delay was. The agent on the chat told me it was a printing issue and they'll be rushing it. Today, July 7th, I received an email from a different agent telling me the product is back-ordered and it won't be shipping until late August. All that was needed was any type of communication or an alternative envelope option. Terrible business ethics and customer service. There is no chance I'll be using this company or would I advise anyone else to.

New patrons PLEASE BEWARE...If I could give less than 1 star I would love to. DO NOT purchase essential electronics equipment from this company! I received a defective computer that I never got the chance to use! Upon trying to get help for a replacement I was passed around in person, on the phone and email. I have been left to feel helpless as well as ripped off and ignored despite all attempts to communicate this includes reaching out to the corporate offices.

I was contacted today by the executive response team. I have been offered a refund and a gift card. Although I am satisfied with their response post-review, I wish that it did not take posting a review to get a response other than “Sorry. Not my problem” after hours on the phone. I do wish that they would supply their local stores with direct customer service lines. The local store reps stayed with me and tried to be a helpful as possible. Robert at the local store was awesome. I would also like to have been assured that we’re working on quality control to prevent this from happening in the future. I am thankful for Ana at Saia who did take the time to send all of the documents pertaining to the order to demonstrate to Office Depot that they had made a mistake. At this point it may take more than a gift card to restore my trust.

After patiently waiting for 2 weeks to receive furniture purchased from Office Depot, I decided to try to track down my order. After at least an hour on hold this morning, no one ever responded. This afternoon we tried to track down the furniture at the local Office Depot. Richard, the sales associate, did his best to help us to no avail. After sitting in the office furniture section for nearly two hours on hold (and couple from me in the store), we discovered that @Officedepot never shipped the order. The carrier says they never received it and OfficeDepot says it’s been delivered. All in all basically OfficeDepot said they are doing nothing about the situation. If we are still unsatisfied we are welcome to call back and be placed on hold for two more hours. Stay far, far, far away from OfficeDepot.

I made an $800 purchase to include a desk, wireless keyboard and mouse, calculator, pens and a desk pad. The calculator and desk pad were the only items to be shipped to me, the others I picked up from the store. I received the calculator, but did not receive the desk pad. Originally, since the desk pad was coming from a third party, I was given an expected ship date of 5/2/22. I received the calculator only on 4/23/22 but customer service is insisting that I received both items. I never received the desk pad. I have been calling for nearly two weeks speaking with various customer service people who escalate the call. Next day, I receive a copy and paste email saying it was delivered. No matter how many times I tell them I never received the item, I’m told it was delivered. At this point, I will dispute with my credit card company. But, I have never had such a terrible experience in my life with a retailer. Never again will I do business with this “company”. Terrible.

Wanted to take a moment to let you know why I will no longer order from the company you have invested in. I am a small buyer, not a lot of dollar value in me. I run my own small business that depended on yours to live up to its promises. You were unable to do so. I sell a lot of very fragile stemware and china. I need quality, environmentally friendly packing peanuts which I have been, mostly successfully, ordering through you. I would have preferred to do a store pickup for this order but this item was out of stock locally. Your website told me I could have this delivered, with a minimum dollar amount ordered, in two days. I placed an order for six bags (more than I wanted, but I had to meet that minimum) of Office Depot brand packing peanuts. I placed an order on 25 April 2022 with Next Business Day Delivery.
I have included a PDF with screenshots of my order confirmation and my delivery confirmation. Neither state anywhere that I must reach out to the carrier to arrange delivery. I have received no email from the carrier, Saia, stating that I need to coordinate with them to arrange delivery. I did not receive my order on the 27th. When I checked tracking it looked like it had never even shipped. I reached out to customer service on the morning of the 28th about this issue. After getting past the 'bot' and reaching a real person I was told this was my fault because I did not arrange delivery with the carrier. This was all the agent was capable of telling me. They could not tell me where I should have found those instructions, only that I should have done so.
"Your order has shipped" in bold across the top of the shipping confirmation email I received is untrue. The exact reply I received was, "my order shipped on time but carrier advised they would need you to call for the delivery schedule." But the agent could not tell me where, when or how I was informed of this. The next reply from said agent was a copy of "Per carrier info: DELIVERY APPOINTMENT REQUIRED. FOR APPOINTMENTS CALL 18004567296." I did not appreciate being shouted at by text. Your agents are quite rude. Again, that agent could not tell me where that was included in ANY communication from Office Depot.
I requested a manager with authority to resolve this quickly and competently reach out to me. Twenty five minutes later Ronnett reached out to me and this was the initial reply I received. "I did manage to review your query and I am seeing that your order was not delivered to you since you did not make contact with Saia to schedule a pickup date." I asked your supervisor to tell me where I was informed that I needed to arrange this. I was told this should have been communicated by email (It was not) and they weren't' sure I received the email. I was not informed who the email should have come from but I have no such email from Office Depot or Saia. I also do not appreciate your agents trying to make this issue my fault as it clearly is not.
I, again, asked to be connected with someone who could resolve this as I do not have time to waste. I needed my order delivered today. Ronnett informed me that they had reached out to Saia but the earliest they can deliver is tomorrow. This is unacceptable. I have reached out to ULIINE. They can guarantee next day delivery for orders placed before 6pm. This is from Los Angeles to Tucson. You only had to ship Phoenix to Tucson.

I purchased an $1,800 laptop online that this company made available fraudulently online. Took my funds from my bank account then did it return those funds back to me. I am writing to every Office Depot resource available with this company. I'm sure if consumer documents were subpoenaed there could be a great lawsuit here, I have a feeling that I'm not the only one. This is poor unethical businesses using a scam technique to obtain the consumer's funds and freezing those funds when they are needed by not returning them.

I ordered a 3-hole punch online but their website went down before I could complete my purchase. I logged in again, checked that my cart was empty and re-ordered the item. The first time I used $15+ in my rewards against my order, I wasn't able to do this the 2nd time I tried to purchase the punch. I RECEIVED 2 3-HOLE PUNCHES. I returned the extra punch after getting a return UPS shipping label. My credit should be for the higher invoice so I'm able to use my rewards, but after 4 contacts with Office Depot, Customer "Service" keeps giving me credit for the lower invoice, effectively stealing my rewards. There's no phone number to call that I can find, and their chat keeps wanting to cut me off while I'm still typing. It's not the dollar amount, it's the dishonesty. Oh! Office Depot first told me to to pay the total amount due with both invoices, more than I legally owe, and they'd mail me a check "in 2-3 weeks" for my refund. Right.

I had a problem with ink purchases and rewards. After 4 calls to the rewards number I gave up and went to talk to Store Manager Mike **. He investigated the issue, explained everything and took care of the problem quickly. Mike was very professional, knowledgeable and eager to help me with the solution. Excellent customer service from him that I really appreciate. Halle and Andrew also were there to help, and they have helped me in the past. This store is very well-managed. The staff is always friendly and able to answer questions, find what I'm looking for, provide tech support, and advise which items would best suit my needs. I would give ten stars if I could!

Found exactly what I had been looking for. Bought a matching desk, small file cabinet, leather desk chair, and a bookcase. Zach, the store employee was very helpful and polite and courteous. The lady at the register was just as nice, and remembered me by name when I returned the next day to pick up the merchandise. Chris loaded every item by hand, and did it with a smile and kind words. The entire experience was awesome, and I’m very pleased with my office furniture and the way I was treated!

I requested cancellation of my Business Select membership and received an email 02/14/22. Since then, I've had to call every day inquiring about the credit I was told I would see on my account by 02/16/22. Every time that I've called, I'm told someone in management would reach out to me within 24 hours, but of course 24 hours comes & goes and, I hear nothing. I was told last week that it was escalated on the 17th of February and, I should give it until at least yesterday 02/28/22. I checked my account today and, still nothing. I called again this morning only to be told once again that someone would reach out which I don't expect to happen, but I was also told that it was escalated on the 18th of February. With each call, I was informed of the 5-7 business days policy, but that policy no longer applies based off the initial email from the 14th.
I think it's unprofessional that Office Depot doesn't stick to their own policy, but has their reps constantly reminding customers of the policy. I'm frustrated about the run around that I keep getting regarding the matter and, I keep questioning why someone would need to reach out if the credit was supposedly sent to my account. I don't want to talk to anyone, I just wanted & expected the policy to be honored. If it was supposedly done there is no need for any conversation to be had. It was no problem at all to withdraw the funds, but having them returned is unnecessary fight. I have purchased a few items from Office Max in the form of office furniture as well as stationery and I was happy with all of my purchases, but after this I don't see myself ever doing business with them again. I'm highly aggravated and disappointed with them & this whole situation.

We received a used desk from them sold as new. When we gave an honest review on their website about the product, they refused to publish it. So, do not trust reviews on officedepot.com. They only accept good or decent reviews. The desk we received had children's marker drawn all over it and obvious wear and tear. I am disappointed to know that Office Depot doctors their reviews. Nothing about the review was inappropriate and we were actually kind about how they handled the return. I would deduct at least 1 star from every product on their site to get an idea of the real review.
I emailed Mr. John as there isn't any phone #. The customer was fully credited for the defective desk and told to discard it as we will not require him to return the desk. Office Depot does reserve the right to reject any review as it's in the terms and conditions online. I've emailed IT and attempting to get an answer why review was deleted. However Office Depot does reserve the right to reject an online review for any reason.

I ordered the HP OfficeJet Pro 8025e Wireless All-in-one Color Printer with HP+. It was to be delivered on 2/14/2022. Today, 2/16/2022, two add'l days my office is functioning without print services, a delivery was made which consisted of a tiny box containing an EPSON Scanner only. When I called customer service, first of all, the number shows up as Walmart Distribution Center even though the number is 1-800-GO-DEPOT. The rep apologized and set up a pickup of the wrong item and a replacement for the order I was supposed to get. She additionally offered me a $15 discount for the inconvenience, and I was initially satisfied. Until she asked me for my credit card to process the order! They wanted me to pay another $230 while I wait 2-3 business days for a refund. I told her not to process it as a refund, that it should be an exchange because I'm not paying twice and this wasn't my mistake.
Alexis told me my two options were to either pay again, or I could wait for the first one to be returned, which isn't scheduled for pickup until 2/22/22022!! I'm already without a printer for my business. I insisted it be done as an exchange and she said my only other option is to go to the store and buy it and process my own exchange by bringing the scanner with me. I told her that I don't have a store here, hence the reason I ordered online for delivery to begin with! She told me those are my only options, and I reminded her that she forgot an option, and that was to return the whole order and not process the replacement because I can buy it at Staples.

I would give a minus 2 if I could. I purchased a monitor from Office Depot and received the monitor on 12/28/2021. Here we are 43 days later and now the monitor just died. It will not turn on at all. I have never had an allegedly new or even used monitor die much less in 43 days. I contact customer no service at Office Depot only to be informed their policy prohibits the return of monitors! Say what? That is something that should flash across the screen so that customers can beware. Clearly they are aware they are selling junk and will not honor their damaged goods. Don't buy any electronics from this retailer because you will be tossing money down a hole.

Purchased a desk that came in a MILLION pieces. Very cheaply made. Once assembled the drawers do not line up. They fall off the tracks. I called them. They told me to take apart the whole thing and it had to fit back in the box to return...OK right or go through the book and circle every piece that does not work. Prob. 200 pieces to get replacements. Not a good experience. I hope they go out of business.

I purchased an item for the first time from Office Depot online. I did a screenshot of the order with the order number and all the details. I never received confirmation, and I never received notice of cancelation either. I only received email advertisements. My order never came, and it turned out that my order number was attached to somebody else's order. Finally, the customer service representative offered to reorder the item and found that the item was on backorder. The first time TRYING to order from Office Depot was the last. There's no excuse for not alerting me before canceling my order when they had no problem with loading my email with advertisements.

This has been a miserable experience for me. In my seventy two years I have never experienced such terrible customer service. Office Depot should be ashamed of the way they treat their customers. I have not been able to speak to anyone, everything has been done through email. It is so much easier for the employees of Office Depot not to have a phone conversation, then they would have to acknowledge they are speaking to another human being that would like to be treated fairly.
I ordered a red oriental console cabinet and I was sent the black cabinet. I am not physically able to get the cabinet in a box to return it. Office Depot will not accept it other than boxed so I have no choice other than to keep it. The only compensation they would give me is $40 to keep the wrong cabinet. The two employees I dealt with should be ashamed that a more reasonable solution could not have been found. It is disgraceful what they have put me through. My sympathy goes out to other Office Depot customers with problems. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!

I purchased a Surface Pro 8 from their online store for what I thought was a good deal for a model with 16GB of Ram and a 512GB SSD. I was purchasing the device for work and specifically needed a model with 16GB of RAM. Despite every email confirming the configuration specs, they instead sent me a model with 8GB of RAM and a 256GB SSD. I contacted customer service to exchange this incorrect model for the configuration I ordered, and for over a week, all I got was the runaround. They then had the nerve to lie and tell and tell me that configuration I ordered was discontinued, which is clearly a lie. So now I'm returning the incorrect model, and once I get the refund, I will shop elsewhere. Office Depots pricing cannot be trusted and all they've done was waste my time and inconvenienced me for work.

I ordered 3 l shaped desks via business platform. I was told they were backordered after 10 days or so they got it in stock and used a cheap third party company called Courier Express. They kept the items in their warehouse for 4 plus days and did not even try to deliver. They seem to care least and I was made to call Office Depot and courier express with no accountability from either side. Not sure why office depot uses a cheap unreliable company like courier express.

This is a store in which the clerk on register will immediately expel any customer wanting to make a serious purchase, add the Clerk's expelling of a novice group of customers. The Novice Customers WERE NOT WEARING MASKS, vs ME Wearing a Mask. In which there being an isolated argument between the Customers, because (Me) the Serious Customer was made PHYSICAL CONTACT (during the passing-by) from 1 of the group. As that that 1, from the group COUGHED (without covering his mouth) at (Me) the Serious Customer who was reviewing the store product, in decision to purchase.
I, BEING THE "SERIOUS CUSTOMER", ORDERED THE "CLERK", as I was standing outside the Office Depot, to "LOOK AT THE CAMERA." As the Clerk chose to respond; respond in the context, that he REFUSED to do such. Reponded that he only had concern to "kick out." These Novice Customers looked as if they only went in there to look around and waste time, and the Clerk KNEW THAT --- as he chose to put that against ME. I already noted when I originally entered store, that the Clerk glared at me and never greeted Me, as if he not had as good as day as other days. He remembers Me from my previous visit there. Maybe he feels insecure about his current job, and chooses to put it against the customers. Office Depot is more a phone-related customer service, rather than added to being an email customer service, as why I chose to make this review.

I had an extended one year service plan ($129.99) with Office Depot and the plan was up for renewal. Office Depot sent me an email informing me that it would automatically renew unless I cancelled. I cancelled it immediately, as I didn't use it except for the original repairs. Well, Office Depot not only charged me for the service but the following day, charged me again! $260.00 taken out of my account AFTER I canceled! I called their customer support, and 4 hrs. and 4 customer support people later, they agreed I had canceled and verified it was canceled correctly but they refused to credit my account! I was told it had to go to a customer review board for their approval before my bank account would be credited.
Plain and simple, do you want to do business with a company who has your credit card number, takes a large amount out of your account without approval, and then refuse to admit their mistake or refund your money? I'll never do business with Office Depot again. I strongly recommend you don't either. Money grab by a large corporation who seems to not be able to compete against their competitors.

I ordered a Dell laptop. I was sent email that the order was received and then that it was shipped and would arrive in two business days. When I looked into tracking the package on the expected day of delivery I saw that it was being shipped by a "third party" but it gave no name. It was not delivered that day. OK it was noted as "expected" delivery. Next day... No delivery. I tried calling Office Depot customer service and was in the loop of "sorry all our agents are busy". Having experienced this before by some companies who never intend to pick up I hung up and called back choosing the "order product" choice. And what do you know someone picked up very quickly. After getting nowhere with the person I could not understand I asked for the carrier's name.
As I waited for a supervisor to pick up (who never did and has yet to call me back as promised) my husband found a number for the carrier Laser Ship. Supposedly they tried to deliver twice but was unable to. Funny... We were home all day both days. Even funnier is that the item was put on the truck at 11:09 a.m. in a city an hour away and then was not able to be delivered at 11:10 a.m. I would advise not to buy from Office Depot and to always ask during any online purchase who the shipper will be. If it is to be Laser Ship run away from ordering.

Charged $156.99 for one TN750 toner with no promised $20.00 credit for the three cores returned. Web site advertised same toner for $97.99. Had to drive back to store which did refund the purchase price hence the 2 stars. Contacted them to discuss and text came back "we are facing some technical issues .... Kindly I request you to please contact us some other time." Obvious management is out of touch with their past good customer service, no surprise stores are closing.

First off, the website is user friendly! I just feel DEFEATED. Paid $182 for a product that I have not yet received. Sat 04/17 - Used their print service online and was told that the product would be delivered Wed 04/21. Thu 04/22 - Called and was told that it was still processing and would be shipped out Fri 04/23 for delivery 04/26. Mon 04/26 (morning around 9AM) - called and was told that they would escalate and I would get a call/email back in 24 hours. Also messaged via Facebook (didn't want to post to put them on blast - no response on this either). Tue 04/27 - called again, job is still processing, no update, and they would reach out in 24 hours.

For about 8 years I have been using the same Office Depot to print a form that I use in my business. They always do a great job, there polices change but that is with every business. My issue is today 04/16/21 I was called by one of the printing personal informing me that my forms was ready. It took me 15 minutes to get there, however when arriving both printing personal was busy. I waited my time and Carla if I have the name right she had Red hair. She stated how can I help in a very sarcastic way. I stated my name and the name of my business, and she stated we do not do cell phone repairs here and I stated that is not what I ask. I stated my name again and that I was there to pick up some forms, stated that there was no forms for my company.
I informed her that someone called my and informed me that they were ready. She went over and ask the other person and she informed her of the forms. She did not say, "I am sorry," or anything. She just started checking me out and gave me the amount. She walked away and ask the other person to finish the transaction. I informed the other person that I felt like I did something wrong, because she was so rude and walked away without saying anything. I would have given Office Depot a 5 star rating but when you experience something like that it makes you think twice about going again if she is there.

I ordered an office chair from Office Depot. The chair was delivered to someone else (a stranger). The recipient called to tell me he had a chair delivered to him with my name and phone number. He called Office Depot to report the error, and the chair was picked up by UPS and delivered on 3/25/21 to Office Depot in Columbus, OH. I have been told by the store manager and customer service that it takes 24 hours to get the refund. It's been 72 hours, and I'm still waiting. The store manager (#6069 Farmington Hills, MI) **, has given me the run around. He should be reprimanded for such horrible customer service. He gave me the 800 customer service number, who says he should have handled it, and that it was out of their hands.

She initiated a case resolution, followed up with all departments involved, and provided constant update status to us. Then concluded in with Home Nations furnishing a new (replacement) desk top. WARNING! Do not purchase any office or any other furniture from Office Depot or Office Max. I purchased an Office Manager Desk and a File case, and the PAPER (THAT’S RIGHT PAPER) laminate is peeling off of both items. I sent a request to HOME NATIONS (Manufacturer of their furniture and outfit that supposedly warrants their products for 5 years) to replace the top of the Managers Desk, which is peeling. Home Nations refused to honor their warranty and said it was normal wear and tear. They indicated the damaged area was from laying my sleeves or hands on the desk not a product defect. AS IF ONE SHOULD NEVER LAY THEIR ARMS ON A DESK OR ANY FURNITURE FOR THAT MATTER.
The problem is they lay a paper laminate on their products and stop at the top edge of the furniture edge, then there is a 1/32 to 1/64 gap at the top. Then they proceed to place the laminate after that gap and wrap around the lip to the bottom of the top. This is peeling waiting to happen. This is not wear and tear. In fact, it’s a major product defect.
What should have been done is to continue from the top of the desk or furniture, wrapping around the curve or straight edge and ending at the bottom of the lip. This would result in no gap to allow for peeling. If one looks on close up pictures on some products on their website, you can see the gap I am addressing. Of course, they do not show many close-up pics of items on their website which would reveal this separation.
I am having the same problem on the file case, purchased at the same time, that has a printer on top of it. Why then is it starting to also peel in the same area? We are certainly not laying our sleeves on hands on it! Recommend not purchasing from either Office Depot or Office Max as THEY DO NOT STAND BEHIND THEIR PRODUCTS. IT’S EASY TO BOGUSLY OFFER A 5 YEAR WARRANTY AND NOT STAND BEHIND IT. What a poor excuse for a customer responsive company.

This is not a full service chain -- they just want to sell products, and if they don't work, that's tough 'stuff' for the customer. I'm an older man -- 68 -- and I don't know tech. Some help would be nice. Stores are also understaffed.

I’ve been trying to get a whiteboard for the past 40 days through Office Depot. I placed order for a dry erase whiteboard which arrived in a super damaged box as if things will fall off if I even lift it. I accepted it considering that boxes tend to get damaged during shipping yet the product is usually in an acceptable condition. I opened the box and most of the crucial parts were missing. I contacted the customer support and got a replacement order placed which arrived super late and to my surprise, it arrived in the same condition as the first package and the parts are missing AGAIN! Also, there is no sign of merchant credit on my payment account and their customer resolution team is never available and responds back after 2-3 days. This is a highly unreliable brand and should probably do all the customers a favor by closing their business because there’s no point in running a business if quality cannot be maintained and customers are not satisfied.

Do I have to give it any star since they obviously don't care. Order not arriving. I cancelled and it arrives 5 days later. I called to return it and for two weeks and daily calls and emails still waiting for the promised pick up that never comes. They have the nerve to say I'll get my refund when it gets to their warehouse, like that will ever happen. Asked if I can bring it to the store and they say no. Asked for a shipping label and I'll send it, no response. They are quick to charge your credit card though. This has to be illegal.

Purchased a graphics card from Office Depot. Shipping time went from 5 days to 33 days once I clicked purchase. My CC was charged at the time of purchase. The item remained available online for another 1 1/2 weeks. 33 days came and went, no card. Office Depot customer service swore to me that they took care of it, the card existed (I asked several times if it ever existed) they gave me a priority # and said they would rush the card.
36 hrs later I was sent a email stating the order was canceled and that I would get my money back (still waiting). In those 33 plus days waiting for a card that didn’t exist, graphic cards have all but doubled in price. How many others fell for this scam I wonder? They held my money until they couldn’t anymore? I also bought a hdmi-mini DisplayPort adapter for that video card the day after online purchase from my local Office Depot and am now stuck with it because of return policy. I normally shop Newegg, Amazon for tech and learned a lesson from this... Do Not Trust Office Depot!

I purchased a 4K Fire Stick for my TV so I could use the Alexa features to view my Ring doorbell and Lorex security cameras. The purchase price was on sale for $39.99 plus I had $45 in reward points so I used that to pay for the entire purchase with the warranty. It said it was on backorder until Jan 6 which was fine. They emailed a few times between Dec 13 when I ordered and Jan 6th just saying it's backordered even though their website frequently showed it in stock.
Jan 9th they emailed me saying the order was canceled which was annoying because the item was listed in stock with next day or 2 day delivery several times but "whatever" I thought, I'll just reorder. Except when I went to reorder they raised the price $10 to $49.99 plus $9.99 shipping and the warranty was $6 instead of $3 so it went from a $47 order to a $70 just like that plus a month wasted time. I coulda ordered it for $40 from AMZ during Christmas time directly and had it next day but I wanted to use my reward points before they expired in a week. I was ready to let go on them but kept calm to give them a chance to rectify the issue.
I contacted customer support explaining how messed up it is to string me along for a month then cancel my order after jacking the price up $25. They responded back apologizing and said they would honor the original price + shipping as long as I called their support line within 48 hours to approve and complete the transaction as they cannot do it via email support. I called the next morning before work and the wait time was only a couple minutes. I had the matter settled in no more than 10 minutes and the agent even expedited the order for the inconvenience and it arrived the next day.
Even though the issue could've been avoided in the first place, I appreciate their effort and willingness to honor my order price. I leave reviews for products all the time because I always reference them for every purchase I make but don't usually go out of my way to leave a review for a company as a whole but in this case, I felt Office Depot's customer service was definitely worthy of acknowledgement. Thank You Office Depot.

In the past month I have ordered two things from Office Depot. They have the worst customer service that I have ever experienced and I have been using online shopping for many years. One item was extremely late and it took several days for them to even bother to reply to my inquiries. It finally showed up and was damaged but usable.
The second item was a chair. Two days after the date it was to be delivered I contacted them to get an update. It took them 3 days to bother to reply and the reply was just to tell me someone would be in touch within 48 hours. 5 days later I got an email claiming the chair was no longer available and saying my order would be canceled. The exact same chair (identical including color) is still being sold on their website and is listed as in stock for immediate shipment.

Went online on Office Depot. Saw Logitech mouse for $12.95. No shipping costs listed, now I see my PayPal account has a $10 shipping charge, this was not shown on my invoice. Why don't they show the shipping charge, this is dishonest.

I just had the worst experience in purchasing anything in my entire adult life and I'm 69 years old. I was told my order was out for delivery on 12/30/2020 and I was told it would arrive by 5 pm and later I was told it would still arrive by 9 pm. The furniture never arrived. I was told it would arrive the next day & it did not arrive. I then was told it would arrive on 01/04/2021 and it still did not arrive. It did arrive on 01/05/2021 at 3:40 pm. I was told by the contractor the boxes could only be left on the front porch or garage, but the contractor that assembles the furniture for Office Depot wants them in the room where they will be assembled. These boxes were too heavy for me to move on my own.
If I had known I would receive the absolute worst service I could imagine, I would not have purchased your furniture, and being told that I had to move the boxes was more than I could tolerate. Fortunately for me, the delivery person was kind enough to put them in the room where they are to be assembled. Please do not use the corona-virus as an excuse. The communication has been horrific with the vendor used for customer service except for the supervisor, May, that took over my delivery issue and got it handled. Previous to her, I had been lied to by a front line person and hung up on by what was told to me to be a supervisor. This model of business is not sustainable in my opinion and to be sure, I will NEVER order anything from Office Depot again. Extremely, disappointed!!!!

I purchased a computer online, great deal with 2 day delivery. The day it was suppose to arrive I get an email stating it was on the delivery vehicle and a new ETA would be emailed to me (This is a week and a half before Christmas). 3 days I called and got the run around and was assured it would arrive on the Monday before Christmas. Monday came and still nothing so I called. They told me it was out of stock (nearly 5 hours of calls and 1 line of supervision). After demanding a solution we looked at other computers and when I saw one I liked I went to see what the final price was and it looked like I purchased it.... In a panic I asked the people on the other line and they assured me I was not charged that $750... I did notice that it stated that the item was out of stock and received an email stating my card would not be charged... I was though...
Not knowing at that time that I was charged now for an additional computer that would not never arrive, I was continued to argue with them to release my funds back to me for the other computer (cost me $593). They said it was processed as a refund and would take 7 to 10 days to hit my account despite me never getting the item.... 3 days at this point before Christmas.... I explained I needed that money to purchase another one, they were unable to do anything for me.
Now I have two charges ($593 and $755) in which my funds are being held from me until Office Depot releases them back... I have been on the phone with my bank all morning (the day after Christmas) and been hung up on twice now by Office Depot... DO NOT BUY ANYTHING ONLINE FROM THESE PEOPLE. VERY DISHONEST AND GOOD LUCK RECEIVING ANY HELP. Reviews are awful and I believe I read (after purchasing) something like this online... Fortune 500 retailer Office Depot Inc. has lost its accreditation with the Better Business Bureau and its rating has dropped to a C- minus. The bureau on June 16 revoked the company's membership. Run away.

Two days I have been on with their customer service reps trying to get it done and solved, but they were trying to charge me way more than the original price. Ordered a computer on the 13th (Friday) (next day delivery). On the 16th, I get an email stating "driver says no box"!?! Then they say my new delivery estimate is the 16th!?! So after many attempts at trying to squeeze an iota of information from them, I finally gave up and asked them to cancel my order and refund my money. They still refuse to do what's right and I'm writing this on the 20th.

I bought this filing cabinet and by time I had some time to deal with it, the return window of 14 day was up. I put it together and it is so bad, I cannot use it. I am a licensed CPA and needed a good filing cabinet for my business. I called and they refused to refund, I told them that what they sell is bad quality. I wrote a bad review and they did not allow it. They silenced me. Unbelievable. They hide bad reviews. Do not buy. It used to be a good company but I am not sure what is going on. May be someone purchased it? I used to buy there but now I will avoid it. This is just scary. I could not believe. They sent me an email stating that my review will not be published and I tried to respond to their email but it was undeliverable. Why am I dealing with? Fly by night company? Looks like. I came into the Office Depot on and Street in Montgomery Alabama. I have spent over $2000 in the store over the last week and a half. Every time I came in here I was always assisted with taking my purchases to my car because they were too big and heavy for me by myself. I came in here today, and Trevonne, supposedly a manager, refused to help me or allow any of the other employees help me carry my bookcase To my car, citing company policy. So company policy apparently only applies to him because everyone else always helped me take my purchases to the car. I am very disappointed, and particularly with the amount of money I just spent in this store. This is inexcusable and unacceptable for any customer regardless of any circumstance.

I placed an order online on 10/9, the payment went through, I received order shipping info a few hours later. At the end of the day I receive an email stating the order was cancelled due to no inventory. Monday was a holiday so putting that aside I gave them an extra day to reverse the transaction (Tuesday) and when still nothing Wednesday, spent hours on the phone with them. Their customer service agents did everything they could to delay, stall and avoid me progressing through the chain of command. They went as far as to say my bank declined it, I got my bank on the phone to confirm this to be false.
My bank also said there is no reason they (Office Depot) shouldn't be able to reach out to their merchant institution and have the hold (of over 2k) dropped as I need to order a replacement elsewhere. I was assured someone from the customer relations team would reach out to me and still nothing. This is terrible customer service and never again will I shop with them based on their inability to take care of a customer in a timely manner and many other large companies can and will do. I am sure I will be spending hours a day for the next how ever many days to resolve this at the rate it has gone.

Unsatisfactory Service and Products. I ordered two wireless headsets. Both headsets were delivered without the docking station or power cord. Office Depot does not enable online returns. I contacted customer support and only received a service number saying that they would contact me to issue a return. No return call. Our company will not use Office Deport in the future. I purchased Inval Merlin L-Shaped Corner Desk, Washed Oak. Quantity Ordered: 1. Item # 8022285 on September 07 2020. The website shows me the delivery date September 17, 2020. I tracked the item online on September 13,14,15. It still shows that processing. I talked to customer service. They assured me that the item will reach to me on time. Now it is September 16, I called them again, the representative told me that they do not have this item and their website is not accurate and it mislead the people. This is totally unacceptable. This Morning I drove a friend of mine (He wanted to buy some stationery) to the Office Max store on Hayden and Frank Lloyd Write Blvd. in Scottsdale, Arizona. As my friends went his way into the store I too wandered in to see if I may need something. I lady walked over to me, looked seriously at me as I, a 70+ year old man walking with a walker, who was dressed in a poor man's short and a tee shirt (it was around 112F) she asked me how can she help. I said, "I am looking to for a small HP printer". Her immediate response, pointing to an isle, was "here are a few Brother and other less expensive ones". I said again, "I am looking for a HP". Her immediate response was "oh we don't have cheap ones in HP". I got a shock of my life.
I moved closer to her and asked "what made you to say that, is it because I Look poor, short and ugly"? She then said, "no most come here looking for cheap products". That was another slap on my face. She simply and pridefully walked away. I went to a lady in the printing department and asked if I could speak to the Manager. She said that "You just was talking to her, the manager". "Hmm", I said. I bought the printer at Walmart and presented to its intended recipient, a new Medical student at Northwestern University. Of course I walked away from that Office Depot in dismay. "Is this the America I lived all my adult life, to which I contributed heavily to its progress? Hmmm."

I received the package less than 15 minutes ago and I'm already working on the return/refund process. Three of the four corners are damaged. There are various nicks and gouges along the sides. There is a sticky substance covering an area by one of the corners. The biggest problem, however, is that the board is visibly bent. This product needs bubble wrap or some other kind of padding to ensure safe delivery. As much as I would like to have a whiteboard, it is not worth hanging this product on my wall. Extremely dissatisfied with my Office Depot experience.
As a side note, I tried to submit this review (with photos) to Office Depot. I was notified via email that this review could not be posted because it "mentions shipping complaints". A vendor should be responsible for ensuring safe delivery of an order. A separate email also informed me that they cannot pick up the item or issue me a refund until they contact the shipping vendor and work something out with them.

Office Depot outsources its delivery to another horrible company, TForce which are legendary at just not showing up for delivery or pickup. They have a call center in Dallas. Don't believe them -- they'll say anything to leave you with the perception of happiness. As long TForce (Dynamex) is the carrier for Office Depot, I'll go to Staples.

I would give zero stars if I could. I will be filing a complaint with my attorney general as soon as I am done with this review. I placed one order, office depot created two orders and charged me for both. I returned the second order in days. THEY ACTUALLY CAME AND PICKED IT UP! Three weeks later and I am still waiting on a refund. I have called numerous times and am always promised that they will take care of it this time! The previous person didn't do something correctly! I have sent emails. I have been promised I would hear back in 4-24 hours. NO! Don't believe it! I will never again support this company.

I was unable to update my earlier post about Office Depot, so I am writing this update. After our frustrating interaction with Office Depot's help desk or parts department, which turns out to be the same entity in the Philippines, we went back to the store of purchase in Clarksville, Tennessee. We shared with the manager, Tony, our frustrations with this whole issue. He was flabbergasted by the response we received from the help desk and for the charge of a second desk. Simply put, he said the local stores have very little control of missing pieces and such, however they have full control of making things right for their customers. Long story short, Tony assisted us in getting a refund on the 2nd desk they were sending us for parts. He is also assisting us with getting the missing pieces and the replacements for the damaged items. 5 stars to Tony and the Clarksville, Tennessee Office Depot.

I bought an office desk from Home Depot in Clarksville, Tennessee. Of course the desk comes in parts consisting of 2 heavy boxes and lo behold we found out it was missing 2 pieces for the side drawers and 2 pieces were damaged. The boxes did not show any damage, and the parts were well packaged so my guess is the damaged parts were packaged in their damaged state.
We called the store and explained the issue. The employee said “Let me guess, the parts missing are??? And???” And guess what, he was right. He further said they have had numerous calls from other customers for the same missing parts in the past few weeks. So, in short, they sold me a desk that they knew had missing parts. They then transferred us to Office Depot's parts department which turned out to be in the Philippines. Well, to make matters worse, we were unable to understand each other so we asked to be transferred to the US. The next person we talked with said the parts are on back order for 3 to 4 months.
So, we bought a desk that the store knew had missing parts and we have a partially completed desk that can’t be used without the missing parts and the damaged parts. So, after we made the above statement, the parts person said he will send us a new complete desk, and for us to replace the missing pieces and the damaged pieces with it and then to send back all the remaining unused pieces back to them. We agreed.
A few days later, we called back as we realized that they did not give us a date for delivery. Well, back to the parts department we were sent and this time they indicated they have no records indicating they talked with us or that they agreed to send us another desk for parts. How frustrating can one get? Well, now their only fix was for us to buy another desk and have it shipped to us. Then we are supposed to replace the missing and damaged pieces once we receive this new desk and then send back the remaining pieces and get a refund for this new desk. How shady can it get? Right??? Well, we opted to go for it and paid for the new desk that they said we “should” receive an email in 7 to 10 days to tell us when we can expect the package. Well, we sure won’t be doing any future business with a company with such shady practices.

What happened to me at Office Depot is absolutely criminal. They sold me a flawed computer for a lot of money, and when it broke within one year, they would not fix it, and they told me I was better off buying a new computer. I am thoroughly disgusted and disappointed at the incompetent and unethical practices of this organization! I purchased a Laptop 7/16 from Office Depot online. Per the store’s website this laptop, was available as next day delivery or I hour picked up in the store. I selected the option for next day delivery. I waited all day on Friday 7/17 for the laptop to be delivered. When I didn't receive it around 5:00 p.m., I contacted the store on Quebec St. to check on the status of my order. I was informed this computer was scheduled for delivery on 7/29. I told the person I spoke to; the website and my confirmation stated this purchase was scheduled for deliver 7//17. I let them know I had a snapshot of the item with this information and a receipt that included a 7/17 delivery date. I then asked to speak to a manager. After being on hold 5 minutes, the person told me her manager was in a meeting and would call me back.
As of today, 7/20, I haven't heard from anyone from Office Depot so I called Office Depot’s headquarters office. When a representative answered, I explained that I ordered a laptop from Office Depot that was available for pickup in the store or next day delivery that was never delivered. The representative then asked me for the order number and came back and apologized because he said I was correct; the delivery date was 7/17 however the website had not been updated and this information on this site was incorrect. I told him that was false advertisement. The representative then asked me to hold, when he returned, he said he would try to expedite this laptop to me and I should receive it 7/21.
As of today, 7/23, I haven’t heard from anyone from Office Depot and I still haven’t received this laptop. If I can find another laptop before 7/29, I will return this laptop to the store when or if it is delivered. According to my bank the amount of this purchase has been deducted from my account. I have purchased numerous computers, printers and fax machines from Office Depot in the store and this online purchase with them has been a disaster. This experience has been not worth the headache! Beware! Oh yes, I received a survey from Office Depot and I added the above information in the survey. I have heard nothing from them!!!

Purchase a desk online on 06/03 arrived severely damaged. Called on 06/08 was offered a Refund and a credit of 40.00 for the "inconvenience" They fraudulently induced me into ordering a replacement and assured me that my credit would be issued immediately. Here we are on 06/27. Still no refund. They are telling me I have to call my bank. The scam is, you call your bank, the bank gives you your money back and the bank does not pursue getting the money back from Office Depot. Bank just writes it off. Bank is then the victim so there's nothing you can do. Well I am not going to help Office Depot rip off my bank. I want my money back from Office Depot, not my bank. I asked for a Fed ID # proving they transfered the funds. They lied and said they can't provide that because it shows info about their bank. That is an out and out lie.
After reading on here that they have pulled this same crap with several others, I will be contacting the Florida AG and filing a complaint. Also filing a complaint with the Securities and Exchange Commission because they are fraudulently representing their earnings by not giving refunds and basically charging people twice for the same product.

Customer service is null and void at the Wauwatosa WI Office Depot. My business, our church nor our family do business with them any longer- I Would rather shop at Walmart.... Before shopping there again! I placed an order for curbside pick up. Was notified my order was ready went to pick it up set in parking lot for 15 minutes come up then went inside for the so she to tell me that they didn't a get an alert. I was so a laptop that was a display item without being told it was such. Paying full price for an item that has been on display should be the consumer's decision and not made by the store associates. When trying to log in to the laptop, there was personal information of another individual already logged in, it was asking me for a password that of course I could not give because I was not the person who was logged in.
I spent 3 hours on the phone been transferred disconnected and then transferred again only to be told that they could Walk me through clearing the information. They could not guarantee that my personal information would not or could not be compromised. THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE, as this is where I conduct my business transactions! I have tried and tried to reach corporate office and all I could get is "ma'am you have to call 1 800 go depot..." After 3 hours on the phone they transferred me to the local store to a sales associate,not a manager, Who could give me no advice except tell me to bring it in or he could walk me through wiping it clean. Who in the right mind would pay full price for an item that was on display. Do not Go to office depot in Wauwatosa WI. Frustrated and Disappointed!

I purchased an adapter cord online for my new PC. Due to COVID, I had a hard time getting someone willing to come to my house and assist me with setting up my PC. Once I was able to get someone willing to come and assist me, it was discovered that the cable adapter I had ordered had the wrong fitting. For this reason, I had a delay in my return request. I have had no issues from any other store with returns for online purchases, as we have been forced to make online purchases due to exposure risks, during this trying time except for Office Max/Office Depot. I will not be making any future purchases from Office Depot/Office Max. I am highly disappointed in their customer service or lack of.

I ordered a 27" ViewSonic computer monitor online on 4/27/20 for $158.00 but did not like it so I requested to return the item back on 5/6/20. It was approved, so I shipped the monitor back via UPS on 5/12/20. The tracking number showed Office Depot received it on 5/19/20. I have contacted Office Depot several times regarding my return and my refund. They kept telling me 7 business days upon receipt of the item. It has been over 11 business days now, and going to be 3 weeks since they received my item. It still shows as "Processing Return" on their website.
I called them so many times. They have been holding on to my money and just giving me generic answers when I call them. It is not this hard to return an item at Best Buy and Target, or at Amazon. It is so frustrating and I felt like they have been ignoring my return. They were so quick to take my money when I purchased it, but I still have yet to see my refund after almost 3 weeks. Beware to all the people that shop online at Office Depot. You will get a hard time getting your money back if you try to return it. This is a scam. Give back my money. You have the item back for almost 3 weeks now! This is not right!

My job has become a work from home job due to the COVID 19 pandemic. I ordered a desk for my home office on 5/20/20. It arrived to my home on 5/26/20 heavily damaged. I did not accept delivery. I heard nothing in the following days from Home Depot. I called customer service on 5/29/20 and was told my replacement desk had a delivery date of 6/1/20, I doubted this because this was the original order delivery date, so my husband stopped by our local Office Depot to check and was told the same thing. The desk didn't arrive on June 1. I live chatted customer service late in the day on 6/1/20 and after 1/2 hour on chat was told that there was no replacement coming I would be refunded. I still have not been refunded for the damaged desk. Customer service is nonexistent, I had to contact them several times, and still, the situation is unresolved.

I purchased a desk from Office Depot and the next day the desk went on sale. I contacted customer service through online chat and after 45 minutes I was offered a refund for the difference in the sale price. I was told 7 to 10 business days. After 21 days and no refund I made an attempt to contact them again. No response by email. I contacted the BBB and received a reply in 2 days. They assured me that there was a issue with the transaction but they were issuing my refund that day. I waited until the refund showed in my account before closing the bbb complaint. After closing the complaint, the next day office depot had taken the refund from my account. What kind of business does this type of obvious theft? I was also promised an e gift card which I never received but don't care about now because I will never use this business again! I just want my refund and they stole it from my account with no explanation! Beware of these crooks.

I found a beautiful desk on their site. I ordered it April 18th and was given an expected delivery date for early May due to shipping delays. This was to be expected given the pandemic and I was fine with that. A few days before the desk was due to arrive I contacted customer service and asked if the desk was still going to arrive on the expected date. The man on the phone was incredibly rude in tone and words. Acted like I was some annoying ** and was stupid and couldn't read an expected delivery date. I kept trying to explain I know the date says May X, but I wanted to check as these estimates can change. Mr. Rude emphasized it again like I was dumb and assured me the desk would be on its way shortly.
I waited until the expected date came before I contacted again as I wondered if a shipping email failed to send which can happen. No desk. I reach out to customer service again and speak to a polite person this time who tells me the desk has not been in a stock for a while and there is no expected restock date and the desk may not be restocked. Mr. Rude straight up lied to me and was a mean person to boot. I then asked if they could get any answers for a desk that I already gave payment info for. I was forwarded to the resolutions team and finally got an email from them.
The resolutions team said they reached out to the manufacturer and the manufacturer requested 24 hours. I waited FOUR days. Nothing. Emailed again. Manufacturer needs another 24 hours. Another WEEK passes. Nothing. Finally I decided to cancel my order because this whole process has been completely ridiculous and I was as patient as I could be. So much time wasted. And I had to deal with a very mean customer service rep too. I worked customer service, it's not that hard to not act horrible to customers. Also, don't lie, not hard.
I think Office Depot's practice of selling an item with no known restocking date is fraudulent. Wayfair will say an item is due to restock X month, X day but won't let you even buy it unless they know they'll have it. Office Depot should not sell products they do not actually have and have no idea if they will ever get again. They also should work with customer service reps so that they're not horrible to customers. I don't know if it's because I'm a woman (which is a thing for some men), but I have never had such a terrible customer service experience as I had this time trying to get a desk that literally does not exist. The overall experience with this company has been terrible. I took my business elsewhere – to a company that is actually reliable and treats customers well.

I hope this reviews helps other people to make a better choice before shopping at Office Depot. I recently bought an active pen for my computer and when I received it, it was damaged. I called Office Depot to ask about the return steps but every time I called (I called 4 times!!!), they made me hold for over an hour! The first time I called, I received an email from someone saying I had to reorder the item again because the vendor did not accept returns!? So far, I've been calling all week and still no solution! When I decided to write a review, I thought I was just unlucky but after checking some online reviews, it seems like it is more common than it should be!! It's time to improve your customer service!

Customer service at the Office Depot/Max store on Willamette in Eugene, Oregon: Texted me that my order was ready to pick up in their store. When I got there, only half of order was there & other half was going to be delivered the next day. However, I ordered both items at the same time & specified to be picked up in store. The missing item was priced at $14.99 plus $11.95 delivery charge! NO WAY would I pay that much for delivery! They offered to swap out the item in store & credit the delivery which would have been fine but they had to do paperwork & I had an appointment & had to leave.
The clerk that helped me wanted to see my order confirmation, when I showed him on the screen, he put his UNGLOVED FINGERS ON MY PHONE SCREEN to make it bigger & when I yelled at him to stop he got offended. I came back after my appointment & got the item & supposedly a credit for the prior order & delivery although I haven't seen the credit yet & that store will not answer their phone! I will never do business with that store again & will try the other office depot store in town but if they are as incompetent, I will find another office supply vendor after over 30 years with Office depot!

Buyer beware: I placed an order online on 4-12-2020 with a delivery date of 4-14-2020. I went to track my order and it says that it was delivered even though I never received my items. I called customer service and after being on hold for 18 minutes, I was told that contrary to what the order tracker says my order has not even been delivered. Turns out the item is on backorder and I am on a wait list. None of this was even communicated to me at any point. There is no ETA as to when the items will be in stock, though they have no problem charging my debit card for them. I was assured by the customer service agent that I would be notified when the items are back in stock and shipped to me. I take this with a grain of salt because I was never told that the items were out of stock and not going to be shipped. Poor communication and customer service.

I ordered toilet paper online. Their site said they it in stock. I received an email it was delivered, but it never arrived. I called and was told it was actually out of stock and I’d have to wait. I wrote a negative but polite review and got an email they declined to add to their reviews. I guess they only want positive reviews. It makes no sense to send me an email they’ve delivered a product along with a supply chain timeline when it was all false. I was worried the pkg was stolen and their customer service line seemed to have a script to read and not deviate from. Absolute lack any care. I’ll take my business elsewhere. Considering the issues with the economy, one would think they’d at least focus on excelling at what is in their control. Everyone understands shortages of supplies. What I don’t understand is their deceitfulness.

I never write reviews. This is the first time I am writing a review since I dont expect to get yelled by your store manager when you guys gonna mess up. On 3-24-20 I place an order that had 2 item and it was showing you guys had it and on 3-25-20 when I was going to pick up only one item was ready to pick up. So I was called the store. They said they dont have the other item. So I asl the person what should I do. He said to see if any other store has it. So I saw there is another store close to my house. That one has the item. So placed another order from that store and I call customer service so I can get refund. She said she will refund me.
After one more hour I got another email that saying they don't have the same item too. So I had to call the store to cancel the order. So after wasting all my day I brought the item from BestBuy. I was needed the converter that's why I ordered. So I forgot everything and I was like, "It's fine. You guys can run out of stuff. That's understandable." So today is 4-5-20. 10 days passed. I still didn't get the refund yet. So I called the store to check in and after waiting 5 min waiting on your customer service line they said you guys customer service close.
Still I was okay but little upset because it's not my fault you guys dont have any stuff that showing you have it in the store on website. I am the one who is suffer and guess what when I call the store where I placed the order to pick up and the manager she said her name is Akimi. She yelled at me because I was upset not to get my refund and guess what. She hunged up on me just wow. So I called back and I asked her, "Ma'am you just hunged on me?"
I asked her name and told me proudly because she know you guys not gonna take any action and she gonna keep doing this will all other customer. All the best providing great customer service having this kind of manager on the team who doesn't give a damn about the customer. Please kindly help me a get my refund or unless I will dispute my money. So it was 2 orders I had charged. **

Today 4/2/2020 while visiting the location on Shady Grove Rd In Rockville, MD between 4:30pm - 5:30pm. I ran into Jordan, the shift manager, who was completely apathetic to me as a customer. I asked for assistance in purchasing an office chair upon my arrival. Jordan responded that he would check the inventory and come back to me, however he never returned and but remained in my line of sight helping other new customers who had entered the store after me. He continued to ignore me. He ultimately spent the next 10 min talking to a co-worker. He had promised to get back to me, meanwhile there were 3 other employees in the store who were not helping anyone else at that time.
Finally I asked one of them for the manager and to my dismay, I was alerted that it was actually Jordan who was the manager!! Upon approaching him again he literally rolled his eyes at me and acted as if I were a nuisance and went back to communicating with a co-worker and took another phone call. I waited patiently and then informed him I’d been waiting all this time for the update on the desk chair. He replied “what’s your problem, I wasn’t trying to do anything to you, I was just busy”. I informed Jordan that I wasn’t trying to compete with his priorities but was interested in why he didn’t inform another co-worker to assist me. To that he had no reply.
I found his behavior, attitude, demeanor and leadership to that team of people he is responsible to lead; deplorable. He is setting a terrible example for everyone that reports to him by virtue of his apathy toward customers...especially when there are fewer customers during this COVID-19 environment. Finally, it’s not surprising to me that the Best Buy store in the same complex outperforms this store in customer service and sales volume.

Last week a delivery person from Office Depot attempted to deliver an order to a commercial office building. The building closes at 6pm. The delivery guy showed up at 7:20pm and after finding the doors locked, proceeded to attempt to Break into the building. YES. Break In. He also tried repeatedly to pull open the door, bending the door handle and causing the locking mechanism to be sloppy and loose. He pounded on the glass of the doors so hard, he set off an alarm in one of suites inside. THIS IS ALL CAPTURED ON VIDEO.
I contacted Office Depot. The supervisor that I spoke with indicated that someone will be in touch with me and assured me this matter would be addressed. A week later and two phone calls and I have been ignored. The damage to the door is over $500.00. Apparently, this is how Office Depot does business. They hire thieves and lowlifes who destroy private property and then ignore their customers. In a couple days, this video will go viral on every social media platform to illustrate just how professional, respectful and responsible Office Depot and their employees are. Lastly, the customer Office Depot attempted to deliver in the office building are Attorneys. They will be filing a lawsuit against Office Depot and the employee will soon be arrested for felony Attempted Breaking & Entering as well as Felony Damage to Property. Use Staples or WB Mason. Stay away from Office Depot. They simply are a bunch of thieves.

Today February 25 and My HP Elite Desktop stop working an 18 February. So sad after just year and two month. So they said call Microsoft which I did and learn a lot. Firstly this desktop is 9 years old and 3rd party did Refurbish Not Windows as the claim, second they trying to escape they own warranty of 3 years! Scumbag people with Bad services will lie and sell you something damaged or without warranty. I'm stopping shop there from now on! DON'T buy there, Don't Waste your money!!!

I had three Office Depot gift cards sitting in my drawer for a long time. When I tried to use them today, the balances all became 0. I kept track of the balances by writing them on the cards. Obviously there was something wrong. I called Office Depot gift card support, trying to find out what transactions caused it. I was transferred from one department to another. Every representative just told me the current balance is zero (yes, sounded like I didn't know it!) and kept asking me the order numbers associated with the gift cards. In the end, I spent about 3 hours on the phone with Office Depot and got no useful information.

I did place an order with Office Depot. As per they advertised next day delivery. That didn’t happened which I understand sometimes some stuff not ready to deliver. First of all they send my stuff delivery without any notice on 4th February which is 8 days earlier. That guy was by himself. He can’t put my stuff where supposed to go. After reporting that to customer service they promise next time delivery will be two people. After all this conversation on 11th February I received email saying that they canceled my order which is really wasted my time. I will never buy any stuff from them again. I hope this will help others to buying stuff from them.

Went to the Office Depot located at 910 East Expressway 83, McAllen, TX. Located at the La Tienda Plaza. The cashier asked for my phone number, name, and email. I thought it was just for the receipt. I even said "oh okay so you email the receipt? He said; "yeah". I walked out. Two hours later I start getting emails saying I opened some kind of rewards account!! I click the link to the Office Depot website and see that I have a rewards program account I NEVER ASKED FOR!!! I get upset and immediately file a report on the website. I call the customer service phone number that says it's 24 hours, guess what, IT'S NOT 24 HOURS! They say call back during normal hours and never say what normal call center hours are.
I call the actual store. I start telling the little punk who answered the phone about my problem. He starts coming up with some run around excuse. I explain to him that it is against the law to open an account in someone else's name without their consent. Then I asked; what is it? Rewards point's credit card? I then say I want a manager. He starts to argue with me, calling me "Man". I say, "Don't call me "Man". call me "Sir" and get the manager now." So the little punk hangs up on me. I call back and speak to the manager. He says he will delete the account. I'm still going to call customer service tomorrow morning. That is completely unfair, nontransparent business. Just signing people up to show they have members. I don't shop at Office Depot regularly. This was my first visit to an Office Depot in over a year.

I ordered a desk that ended up not being quite what I wanted so I called to have someone from Office Depot pick it up because I was returning it. Setting up the original appointment was fine but trying to change the date afterwards was useless. The reality in life is that things can happen that require you to change your schedule around and office depot is clearly unaware of that fact. I called to try to change the date of the pick up and the representative told me that she was going to send a request for the date to be changed. About two hours later I received an email saying "Your order is already in process and we will make every attempt to contact the carrier and provide them with an update." I then called the customer service again and asked what exactly this meant. The representative told me that it takes about 48 hours for them to contact the carrier. This seems absolutely ridiculous to me because in 48 hours, it will be the original pickup date.
It shouldn't be that hard to get in contact with the carrier. The representative then proceeded to tell me that if I knew the original date wasn't good then I should have changed it at the time that I made the original pick up appointment. I then explained to him that that mindset of setting things up in a way where the possibility of changing it is out of the question is not conducive to how life works. Something came up in my life that requires me to change the original date. Office Depot needs to work on this because I've never experienced this level ridiculousness when trying to change a date from any other company.

I bought a printer from Office Depot online. It arrived without a power cord. So since I could not plug it in, it was useless. I call about the problem and was told how to return it. I returned it as specified on January 6, 2020. I was told it would take ten day to get my refund. On January 22, 2020, after three more emails asking where the refund was, I was told the refund has been issued. I have responded that the refund is not in my account. More than ten days, as promised, I have no refund. They sent me a credit slip stating that the refund has been issued but it is not in my account. I am so less than happy.

I purchased two storage bins on December 26th, 2019. On Jan 2nd, 2020 I noticed that they were too small and I would have to purchase a bigger size. Unfortunately, I lost my original receipt. I called customer service and was told that I would need to wait 24-48 hours to receive it by email. I was fine with that. By Jan 6th, I received nothing. I called again and was told that the original request was input incorrectly and that they would fix it and put a priority on my request. I asked to speak with a supervisor and was told they were all busy and that they would call me back. I received no communication. It is not Jan 10th, 2020 and I still have received nothing.
Again, I called today and after being on hold for a total amount of 20-22 minutes, I got to speak with a supervisor and was told that they can not communicate with the receipts department other than through email so I could not call them. I asked for a corporate number so I could submit a complaint because being strung along for a ridiculous amount of days for such a minuscule request is a terrible practice.
I called the corporate number and when I indicated I would like to speak with a customer service rep, I was then transferred to the non-corporate number... I should indicate that during my conversation with the first rep today, I was finally told that I could return the items and to just present the card I used and I would not need a receipt. That's great information but this review is for the entire situation that Office Depot has and still is putting me through. I can not even get a hold of corporate. What type of company keeps this information hidden? I have done business with Office Depot for 10 years now, and I can honestly say that they have lost a customer. Long story short, to those who read this, save yourself the hassle and go to any other office supplies store. The risk of anyone needing any type of customer service from this place should be enough to keep them away.

I placed an online order for KIND bars, the advertisement was for 12 bars Dark Chocolate & Nut bars. I received the notification that my order was ready for pick up at my local store (over 15 miles away.) I drive to the store, notify store personnel that I am here for an online order, he hands me a bag with 10 individual KIND bars, I tell him that is not correct, it was advertised as boxes of 12. I show him the order as well as showing him the ad on officemax.com, where it clearly states it is a box of 12 bars. He replies that they do not carry them in boxes, only individual bars. So to sum up my experience with Office Max, I wasted an hour of my life, drove a 30+ miles round trip, to have someone tell me all he can do is issue me a refund.

I ordered items online but was not able to pick them up at the store as I hurt my back. I was refunded after 8 days but I didn’t receive the full amount that I was charged. I called customer service about it and while the agent was very helpful, her supervisor didn’t allow her to refund me the rest of my money. She was instructed to tell me to talk to the store or my bank about it. Seriously?!
When I spoke to the store supervisor, he said that I need to come in to get the refund - that they don’t have the capacity to do the refund directly to my card without me going to the store. He also said that customer service should have done it themselves so I don’t need to go to the store anymore, especially with my back situation. I agree! He allowed for me to send someone else to pick up my refund on my behalf. But that is still so inconvenient though. Whoever the supervisor is at customer service is definitely not doing his/her job! Why didn’t they refund the whole amount in the first place?! Why can’t customer service issue the refund?!

I tried to buy a chair in store but they were out of stock. They ordered me one to be delivered a couple of days later. I never received it. Customer service kept asking me to give it time. Finally after 20 days I asked for my money back but customer service said they would just order me another one and put a priority on it. It is now past the delivery date and I called customer service and they ask me to give them more time. I am sure I will never see the chair or my money again.

First off, I have to ask for all of our community, Is the Local Office Depot going out of business? Secondly, we have to assume that Office Depot, at least locally is going out of business. There are no facilitators to assist customers as they enter, and what is worse is that all of the so-called "self Help equipment" has not been maintained over the last year, and so far, this year there's no improvement. I have never had such a bad experience with returning an item online. I requested a return on 12/22 for 12/30. So I took a day off to wait for their employee to pick my return up. No one showed up. Contacted CS and was told that my return will be put on "high priority" and I will be contacted regarding the return soon. No one contacted me. Today I logged in and found out that my return is now scheduled for 01/07/20. Really? Almost 3 weeks waiting for somebody to pick up a return item. For some unknown reason CS didn't want to provide me a return shipping label so I could ship it myself. Now I have to wait whole day (again) hoping that someone will pick up my return.

I am very dissatisfied with the level of customer service at Office Depot. I have spoken to on-site managers, and the General Manager about customer service, friendliness of staff, and quality service in hopes things would change. The General Manager finally returned my call the other day to follow up with me on concerns from months ago, and when I called him back, I was on hold so long the phone finally disconnected. To date, no return call, or email, and we have not connected. I would think customers would matter greatly to management. However, their actions says something completely different.

I ordered two boxes of copy paper and 2 boxes of folders on 12-2 - stated delivery 12-4. 12-4 came and went - no delivery. Each business day I received email stating "delivery delayed one day - anticipated delivery on 12-4". How they can email a customer stating delivery will be 6 days in the past is beyond me. Several emails, phone calls and live chats later, as of 12-20, still no refund. The folders were delivered (several days late), but no refund for the copy paper. Was told I had to wait for the paper to be delivered and then refuse it in order to get a refund!!! Called local store - Manager said he'd make some calls and get back with me. That was a week ago and no return call. Needless to say, I'm looking for another supplier for our business. It's fine to shop there if you are going to a store, but if you order online, the delivery service is horrible!

I was miss-led while buying a smart lock for my door at Office Depot online store. I wasn't happy about that so I went to nearest office depot store to return it. They said that's not possible since the purchase was done online. It took 20 minutes to initiate a return. The worker there told me I will get a call following day by resolution department as a follow up. What a hack. At that point it looked like it's year 2000 when purchases and returns were done over the phone.

I spent days scanning my mother's recipes onto a flash drive so that I could get them professionally printed. The guy behind the counter told me he could have them done by the end of the night. He was busy, but I was happy about getting them done quickly. He copied them and the recipes came out very small. For some reason he put them on a PDF and didn't resize them appropriately. They are a gift for my 3 siblings for Christmas and my time is extremely limited. I bought these beautiful recipe boxes personally engraved to put the recipes into. Now my project is ruined!!! I was going to get the recipes back, laminate and cut them by Monday. There are 90 pages to do. Now I have to bring them back and they will have to re-do them. They charged 48.00 to do this and I am very disappointed in this store.

I must admit I was expecting to hear I needed to use the coupon at the time of order, but was pleasantly surprised to have my request easily handled and my order revised to reflect the coupon amount. That is the way to keep customers happy and coming back. Staples could learn something from this!

I ordered an inkjet cartridge on October 10th with one day delivery. The 11th came and went with no delivery. On the 12th I received an email that my item had shipped and would be delivered on the 11th... Not sure how that was going to happen. I needed the cartridge on the 11th to complete a project and had to go to Staples and buy one. When it finally arrived on the 15th I was very dissatisfied. I put it in my car planning to take it to a store for the return. That is when I discovered there is not an Office Depot in Hilton Head or Bluffton.
I went online and input the information for the return and received notice that a return label would be sent to me and I would be able to return it through a delivery service. I waited a week...no label. Called Customer Service and was advised it was "in process". As the CS team is apparently abroad, I had a difficult time getting them to explain why this takes a week?? I called again a few days later and was told it was being escalated. I then received an email that they had checked with the carrier and the item had been picked up. This is not possible as I have the cartridge, still in the package on my desk at work!!
Sent an email back that it had not been picked up, no response. Sent another email 4 days later, still no response! We are now past the "30 day" return period so I can't even take it back to a store in Savannah (25 miles away). I called Customer Service again on 11/20, still difficult to understand or be understood, put on hold 4 times and finally told someone would be calling me as it had been escalated. No Call, no email, no label. The service I have received has been horrible. I used to purchase from OD all the time and the hotel I work at gets supplies. I have advised my team to get us set up with another vendor as this is not an acceptable situation.

After ordering through Officedepot.com my credit card was charged but the order was not shipped. After waiting a week I went online to chat with a customer representative and I was told they had to get back to me. I did not know that I bought an item that was from a 3rd party. Customer service couldn’t help me because the 3rd party didn’t and couldn’t ship the item and was going to refund me the money. Office Depot could not help me without charging me for another white board because of the 3rd party. I feel that I was misled in believing I was shopping at Office Depot!

I went to an Office Depot near me and was not planning on buying any furniture. The associate that took care of me listened to what I was searching for and provided me with the best solution. I cannot say enough great things about this establishment (Lake Worth Rd & Military Trail - Palm Beach County, FL). Every time I've been to this particular store I was treated with respect and professionalism. I know everyone's experience is different, however, I have no complaints!! The worst customer service I have ever experienced in all my years of dealing with business establishments. Office Depot had the most incompetent, unprofessional and untrained manager ever. I went into Office Depot to take advantage of a clearance sale and everything was going fine until I was forced to complain about a sales person's rudeness. I made the mistake of requesting to speak to a manager only to encounter what I would describe as the manager from you know where. Instead of deescalating the situation she became verbally abusive and threw me out of the store after she unloaded a slew of false accusations. I thought for sure that she must have confused me with someone else. I didn't realize that managers could stoop to such unprofessional levels.
When I tried to defend myself by telling her that she must be confusing me with someone else. She threw me out of her store and instructed her subordinates not to serve me. To add insult to injury this manager called the local police on me after throwing me out of the store and lied to the police stating that I was being rude, loud and disorderly, and banned me from the store. I was not even allowed to remove my $860. purchase from the premises without being risk with being charged with trespassing. I am shocked that in this day and age a manager could model such poor behavior for her staff. Luckily for me I have the whole incident captured on video. Thank God for cell phones. When I reported it to her District Manager, I was not given an apology and merely got a mediocre response that she would talk to her. Wow!! I should have follow my first choice and gotten my items from Amazon!

I ordered some duplicated copies from Office Depot/Max printing center. They did Bad and unprofessional work. After asking for redo, which they should, still unprofessional looking, I was talking to them and gave the reason for why they were not good. Rather self checking why couldn't come out a good job, they said was my original copy had problem. I said my original copy is professional looking. I was asked to pay the new computer work in order to come out a better copies, which I did. After 2, 3 weeks, I went into the store quite few times. The copies was ready and nobody called me, because had prior problem. I was cautious about their printing work, so I went though and found some bad ones. The lady offered to redo them, and I picked the rest of them.
Today, few months later, I went in to try to pick up the rest of copies. The different lady at printing center asked few questions. As soon as I told her what I need, she immediately told me they no longer had any duplicated copies. I was surprised she could respond that quick and sure. I asked the question again and explained the process, and she was so sure without even looking at me or went to checked. When I try to make sure again, she ignored me and didn't hear me anymore. I was standing there very awkward. Never thought I was such unwelcome customer after more than 20yrs working with office depot. She was cold, disrespectful, and I was such unwelcome customer. After leaving the store, I knew I would not go into there anymore.

I ordered QuickBooks Desktop Pro online and received QuickBooks Desktop Pro Plus. Called Office Depot to complain about receiving the wrong product. Spoke with multiple representatives, was promised that I would receive a call back within 24 hours. I called the next day and was promised a call back within 24 hours. I called again the third day and was promised a call back within 24 hours. It has now been 7 days and I have not received any calls from office depot. Very disappointed in their customer service. I would not recommend buying anything from office depot online.

I brought three of my (YourCreativeChord.com) original photo nature calendar designs to Michelle of Office Depot on New Circle Rd, Lexington, KY. She was meticulous, thorough, called and emailed several times to correct and confirm changes with me. She went above and beyond to help me with my questions, helping me find the best bargain with top quality options. She and her manager also offered an additional discount due to the bulk volume I purchased.
Considering I'd left a competing store (Staples on War Admiral Way, Lexington) prior to arriving at this store, where a male worker and his manager offered zero customer service or expertise, and in fact were rude and dismissive of me and offered incorrect information (hence I left and came to Office Depot), I am completely satisfied, over the moon proud of the meticulous customer service Michelle at Office Depot concluded. My calendars turned out stunningly beautiful, with every detail I'd requested. I will from now on use Office Depot and recommend it highly to anyone--especially over that lesser, competing store.

Updated on 09/13/2019: On August 20, 2019, I noticed a fraudulent charge on my Office Depot credit card. I immediately contacted Office Depot by telephone, which I was on hold for over an hour without any response. I then went online to my account and sent a secure message that I did not authorize this charge. My email was sent to Citi Retail Services who is part of Citibank. I received a letter in the mail on September 4, 2019 stating I was responsible for this charge. After reviewing the description of the purchase, it stated it was made in Rosedale, MD and they accepted a LINE as a signature. I live and work in Florida full time and was nowhere near Maryland at the time of this purchase.
I quickly contacted Office Depot letting them know this and I thought it was unacceptable that they would accept a line as a signature. I was told by a Customer Advocate in Customer Relations that they apologized and were investigating further. Have now received an email that Office Depot/Citibank has put a derogatory comment on my credit report. I believe this is unacceptable and there is no security in place for their valued customers. I'm beyond myself that I am being treated this way, as now I am fighting a second fraudulent charge on my Office Depot credit card from September 3, 2019. I would never recommend anyone applying for any type of Office Depot card or Citibank card.

I bought a calculator online because it showed it was IN STOCK at my local Office Depot. The next day, when I was going to pick it up, I received a TEXT that said "there is a problem with my order and that a manager would contact me." After about 6 hours of not hearing from a manager, I finally called myself and was told that they don't have it in stock (even though I paid for it online and it said it was in stock). So... Ok, it happens I guess... But, the employee did not offer ANY TYPE of help or apology whatsoever. So, I asked if he could tell me where to find this particular calculator and he told me to call other stores. I asked him since it was already paid for, could he locate one for me. He put me on hold and another employee picked up and said it showed there was one at another local store.
I asked him if he could call to verify because obviously the computer isn't always right considering what happened. He did call for me and put one on hold. So, I travelled farther to the next store and they did have it on hold for me (the ONE THING they got right). I purchased it AGAIN using a credit card and I specifically asked the clerk for a refund for the one that I had purchased online. He said the charge would not go through and I would not be charged twice. Well... 3 weeks later and the charge is still showing on my PayPal account as "pending" and over an hour on the phone with customer service and they said there is nothing they can do to get that pending charge to go away.
They suggested I call PayPal. So, I did and guess what PayPal said? They said they can't help me because Office Depot is the only one that can cancel the charge. I could not be more frustrated. So, I guess Office Depot will forever have this money for an item that I was now charged for twice because I'm stuck in the middle of Office Depot and PayPal both saying they can't cancel the charge. I will NEVER buy another product from this company.

I ordered a set of cubicles for my office. The order came with the option to have it installed. The product said it would need an electrician to wire it and recommended having them install it for you. So first the product was delivered a month after promised. Then when the product came they couldn't get an installer out. The set a date that was about 90 days after the order date. About a week before it was supposed to be installed they called and said they had changed the install date to the next day.
When the guy came and opened the package there were several parts missing and one piece damaged. He put it together but apparently was not an electrician and could not do that part. Going back and looking at the install description I can see that it is vague enough that it might not include the electrician but since it was over $1000 we assumed it included that. We have attempted to contact the installation company multiple times and have received no response from either them or Office Depot regarding issues. To top it off every time I try to give the product a review on the Office Depot website they reject it for being "too vague." Either way I would absolutely not buy this at Office Depot.

I placed an Office Depot order with 2 day delivery. After not hearing anything for 8 days, I contacted them, first via email (twice) then phone. Ultimately they said that they were having difficulty locating my address and cancelled my order. They urged me to re-order, but why would I do that when they couldn't find my address? This was the second time in a row that this has happened after years of excellent delivery service. I was offered an apology, told that they had replaced my order in their system and I could log on and give them my credit information. I get packages here every day from UPS, FedEx, and the postal service. Customer service is poor and obviously, they can't find their way out of a paper bag.

Have had a run-in with a rude manager, have seen insane high prices for garbage, have noticed no one around when you have a question, high employee turnover. When Office Depot first opened they were tripping over themselves trying to help everybody and now since they have run all the family stores out of business they have jacked up prices and hired low paid people that hate their jobs. They put a virus on my computer and then had no idea how to take it off. The company is being run by corporate elitists - the likes of which may be found hiding in the cracks and crevices of cyberspace and in offices far far away.

I was shopping online for school supplies and chose Office Depot because of the percent back they give to my children's school and for some really good prices on some supplies. I would have been extremely happy with my buying experience given the great deals and pick-up in store option had it not been for their failure to abide by their price match guarantee. They guarantee to price match from Target when it is the identical product, however, they wouldn't price match markers which were identical and it took 5-10 minutes for the customer service representative to get back to me about this. The reason they gave me was bogus as it was the exact same product. A company ought to stick by their own policies. I ended up buying the item from Target and then some I would have bought from Office Depot.

Tried to place an online order for office furniture. Credit Card flagged it as fraudulent. Office Depot stated they were unable to process order. I placed the order later, after it was cleared by credit card company and it processed. Got an email confirming order. Everything was good until I looked at my credit card transactions online. Office Depot continued to try to process the first order that they had been Unable to Process until it went through. I did not receive an email or any notification. Now I have two order of over $1200.00. I called customer service to cancel. They informed it had not been shipped and it should not be a problem to cancel, I even got a confirmation number. I was very relieved.
I then got an email that both orders have shipped and when I called again I spoke with a supervisor who said she contacted the carrier and asked them to not ship this order! Both orders have shipped and I was told to refuse one order and once it got back to the warehouse they would credit my credit card! But I see from other reviews that this may not happen so easily. This whole experience is ridiculous. I will not be shopping at Office Depot again. I feel like I was scammed.

Basically, twice I have shopped online for school supplies this year and Office Depot has either double charged or added additional fraudulent charges to my account. I gave them an amazing survey review because of their great prices and speedy shipping then wake up the next morning to having my credit card held hostage for a bunch of fraudulent charges from them. I contacted customer service and they were such a waste of time, they are so corporate and have no customer consideration or desire to hear you out. Gave them opportunity to rectify the situation and keep me as a promoter of their business but they did not want it. If you come across a deal you cannot pass up, shop in person not online for this company. I probably would not shop here again.

Purchased an office chair in January 2019. Purchased a protection plan. I now have a torn seat cushion and armrest. Tried to file claim online-website did not work. Called number given. Long story short I had to call customer service 4 separate times and transferred 3 times on each call. Over 2 hours spent on the phone getting transferred. Each rep said that since I am in the first year, I had to contact the manufacturer and run it under the manufacturer's warranty. Each person gave me a different phone number for the manufacturer-none of which were correct. On 4th call was told I needed to give the zip code of the store so they could call the store I purchased it at. Then said they could not reach the store and would call me back. No one has called back.
At this point I have the impression that the reps are instructed to give the runaround so that they will not have to honor the protection plan that was purchased. Can't help but think they are selling protection plans that they have NO intention of honoring which is fraudulent. No one can give me a good number to the manufacturer and there is NO manufacturer's website. At this point I just want my money back for the protection plan since it was charged fraudulently. I will be contacting the State and the Better Business Bureau.

I bought my daughter a laptop for her high school graduation on 5/15/19. We gifted her the laptop on 5/24. When she went to set it up, she continually received booting errors saying it couldn't find the hard drive. I called Office Depot on 5/30 to return the laptop which they agreed to return under warranty. They stated they would have Accurate Carriers pick up our laptop on 6/4/19. We had our daughter stay at the house from then until 6/10 and no one came to pick it up. On 6/10 I called saying they have not showed up. They conferenced me in with the courier and scheduled another pickup for 6/11. On 6/11, I called again and asked for a return label since no one picked the laptop up.
We receive an email on 6/12 saying they were not going to send us a UPS label since we didn't "need" one and that we were "welcome" to return it to the store which was an hour and a half away. Finally, Accurate Couriers picked up on 6/13. We verified with Accurate Couriers that they did receive it and OfficeMax picked it up from them on 6/17 to take it to their warehouse in Pennsylvania. It is now 6/25/19 and even on my order detail Office Depot still doesn't have the laptop as "received". It's almost been a month since I've called about this return and I can't get a refund on a $549.99 purchase plus tax. This is ridiculous. I've never had a worse experience with a company in my life. Maybe ONE DAY I'll receive my refund. Not holding my breath.

Office Depot Credit Card offer isn’t being honored. It clearly states $50.00 of your first purchase of $150.00. However, this isn’t the case, because they split the online order into two. I called customer service to confirm that this wouldn’t be an issue. They advised I would see a $50 credit on my next statement or two. Just long enough for the promotion to expire and then customer services advised that they couldn’t do anything to help.

I purchased a chair from the Store located at Nova Rd. and Beville Rd. in Daytona Beach FL and found when I returned home that an insurance policy had been added without my knowledge or consent. In an attempt to recover the money I was told I would need to return to the store. So to get back $7.50 I would need to use $3.00 in gas and my time to salvage $4.50. Plus my time. Calling the online company had no effect and no help. Amazing the money could not be put back on my credit card without my travel time to the store. My fault I guess for trusting their integrity.

In March 2019 I contacted Office Depot regarding a warranty on a chair that did not work. Now in June the warranty has not been fulfilled. In March I called Office Depot regarding my office chair. The gas lift no longer worked and the chair seat would not stay up. The rep I spoke with in March told me she was sending a new gas lift that can be replaced just like "opening a can of pickles." Well the gas lift arrived and I followed exact instructions on how to remove it but the gas lift would not come out.
I called again on April 25th and spoke to another agent. She was incredibly rude and told me that she was going to send me a star since based on my responses it seems that the star was also broken. Today I attempted to fix the broken chair and came into the same issue. I called Office Depot and the rep I spoke to told me to figure it out and have a nice day then proceeded to hang up on me. I find it absolutely absurd that a "customer service rep" handles warranty claims by hanging up on customers. So here I am, 3 months later with a broken chair and plenty of time wasted on the phone resolving nothing! I need a functional office chair and that is the only acceptable resolution or my business will be sent to Amazon from now on.

This is the second time in the past two weeks that I use the Office Depot in Apex to print posters. The first time, the young girl took a long to figure out how to set up the printer to the poster size, printed at least 3 posters that were lengthwise, larger or not adjusted then at last when she got it right, while she cut one of the posters around she chopped a part of the writing. Did the same things with the flyers and took a while to figure out the correct size after printing a couple in error.
Then today, I was served by another person, supposedly a manager, her name was Jenny. She was very loud and right away informed me that they don't print on the spot. I have to pick it up the following day, despite the fact that I have printed on the spot before many times. When I told her that she got aggressive, repeated in a loud voice in a manner as if I don't understand. I gave her the flash drive, she pulled it up, and when I asked about the price of the poster size I chose, she starting singing in a loud voice that everyone around can clearly hear, the kept making tunes with where are the prices, the size of the poster...on and on until she got the information.
Then she continued the process of filling the order form, then she said I come the following day. Then when I expressed that I didn't want to leave my flash drive behind, she started acting more weird. I asked her if I can email it from home, she gave me the flash drive, pointed to the email address printed on the counter and kept repeating the I will have to take it tomorrow still although I understood this part a while ago.
Then she turned to another employee and started explaining to him my order and saying that it will be done at least by tomorrow and when I told her you said tomorrow, she turned and told me that it depends on when I send the email. Then made a point to make me uncomfortable and said, "Do you still need anything else", and when I walked she started laughing frantically while still holding the order and talking to her colleague. The organization I work for always uses this office but I think that should be the end of it.

STEER CLEAR!!!! Everyone I have dealt with is bothered by presence in the store and are completely unwilling to be helpful. My info was entered incorrectly for a rewards program and they CAN NOT fix it???? What???? Print services are outrageously expensive, I spent $140.00 for 100 2 sided color flyers. I tried to get my due discount by being a member of a group that offers significant savings but because of their error I did not get it. I was in such a hurry I asked if I could back to resolve the issue. When I returned the old man who runs the print center was flippant and VERY unhelpful. I let it go and returned a third time to this store for a new project. This time they still could not/would not fix their previous error and give me my full discount and lo and behold were even ruder than before.
Now I tried to log in and do what I needed online, then just pick up in the store. Well that resulted in me getting kicked out of their system twice, because my information does not match AS THEY ENTERED IT WRONG IN THE STORE!!!! I am soooo done. I will buy construction paper and markers and make business cards etc before I EVER do business with these people again!!!!

Didn't happen and I've had to do follow up calls with customer service which has been a complete waste of time. With each call, it is always the verbal reply that they will send an urgent request to the warehouse team. I'm assuming Office Depot's warehouse is non-existent because no one has replied to us 7 days (and counting) after the initial scheduled pick up. Worst yet, we have another order that's late shipped with no updates whatsoever as to what's happening with it. PLEASE REFUND AND CANCEL OUR ORDER. Recently I saw an online special on copy paper. It was a good buy. I placed the order and was told it would be delivered to my office within 3 days. In the past, I could order online and the local store made the delivery. I assumed this was still the procedure. When it did not arrive, I dropped by the store and showed them the purchase receipt. I was told that they no longer deliver items purchased through the website. They use regular shipping services.
After a week, I hadn't received the shipment and made an inquiry. I was told that there was no record of my order. I advised them that I had printed the order, gave them the order number. Still no record of order. I told them to cancel the order. Well you can't cancel an order that they have no record of, so I called my Credit Card company, told them what happened and they reversed the charges.
A few days later the charge reappeared on my credit card, but this time there were three identical charges (for an order there was no record of.) My credit card company then reversed the charges, canceled my card and reissued me a new card and number. I then decided to not buy from OD/OM again. It's Amazon for me. Better prices, with Amazon Prime, free shipping and quicker accurate delivery. I'm saving money. Thank you Office Depot for steering me toward competent people, savings and quicker delivery.

They lost me as a customer for life today. I should have known better because I had previously had a bad experience where I canceled an order, redid an order to fix it, and it took almost 90 days to get the money back from them while I couldn't use it in the meantime. This time, I bought a laptop and it showed there were none on backorder so it was an original fulfillment and they charged my card immediately. Then this morning I wake up to find that they charged me an even greater price to fulfill the back order that did not exist.
They gave me the same spiel that the money will be back in my account in 7 to 10 days but I'm not holding my breath. What I know is I'm out over $2,000 because their tracking system isn't up-to-date, they automatically charge you without contacting you to fulfill the original order, and there is "nothing" they can do because they "haven't received the money." I will see if I ever get my money back or access to it while it pends. They tried to reform my missing money by less-than-doubling the rewards they did not apply. It is fancy money laundering. I'm done.

For the first time I purchased remanufactured ink cartridges (Office Depot - Canon CLI-221) for a color ink jet printer instead of the Canon product. And for the first time, the cartridge leaked (and ruined a shirt) when I installed the ink cartridge in the printer. I recommend that you avoid the remanufactured ink cartridges from Office Depot and purchase the manufacturer's product. The nominal savings are not worth the clearly inferior product.

I purchased a small office refrigerator, that was broken upon delivery, to this day it is still sitting on my porch for pick up, that has been 10 days now, they will not process my refund for 7-10 days after it gets to their warehouse. Carrier refused to take back. Said it was too heavy although it was same one that delivered (UPS). I have been on the phone every day and emailed, I have been lied to about being picked up next day, and getting refund processed and being compensated for this nightmarish purchase. DO NOT BUY from this store unless you want them to keep your money for a month or longer to get a refund. NOT acceptable, had to call credit card company and dispute this charge. Beware of Office Depot!!!

I usually purchase my printer paper from Office Depot/Max for my business and always consider their advertisements that they send keeping in mind my office supply needs. Today I needed printer paper for my facility and decided to avail the 30% coupon that was offered along with a Free gift (Cotton Tote Set). I was very happy with my purchase as is always the case when doing business with Office Depot/Max.
When it came time to avail my offers the website did not accept my coupon code for the Tote offer. I needed the paper and so I submitted the offer and felt that once I called customer service things would be resolved. I decided to go online to chat and try to resolve my issue this way. To my dismay the representative pressed on about how only one coupon would be honored and gave me a scenario of how $20 off a $100 order would have accepted the Free Gift coupon but how my 30% coupon would not accept the Free gift coupon to go along with it even though, my purchase was well over the $75 total purchase order that they required before taxes. I feel that they should have honored the coupon for the free gift and saved themselves a customer. Their $24.99 free gift cost them a customer and future orders. BTW my personal account will not be used either.

I went in the store at 362 East Capitol Drive, To Buy a laptop, I found the one I loved. It was a Dell Inspiron 14 2 in 1. The technician offered to set up all the programs. I was like fine. Came back later that night. Picked up my laptop. A week in It started blinking, one night I heard it ring twice & asked for a passcode. I tried to shake it off like no, how can my computer ring. One day my adapter stop working & the speakers, I called Dell. They told me the serial numbers or specs don’t match and that was one of their old computers shipped out earlier in 2018. I called the store I bought it from, the manager asked me for the service code number & she said, "Oh." Y’all she right. This was one of the Black Friday computers.
I contacted the district manager. Comes to find out my whole transaction was fraudulent on his part to get commission! But wait. This ** was remotely in my computer from his house & Office Depot has my crashed computer with all my information & job information with customers information! I talked to the Federal Trade Commission today. They told me to call the police to get my personal data & get the computer to have it investigated! I spoke with another office manager at the store & she stated she can not tell me exactly what happened to him or all the specifics of the case but he’s under investigation! Also he did a tax override on many items on the receipt! He had my laptop listed as a open box item meaning he sold me a used computer that he put a remote desk top app on to invade my privacy!
Someone please help. I suffer from anxiety & panic attacks. This is humiliating. Look at the receipts & the evidence I pulled up, I even have screenshots of talking to the district manager claiming, "Oh please. Let us take care of you, did you go to the store on South 27th & pick out another laptop!" Yeah but why is my personal information all through Wisconsin Office Depot! Look at the pictures.

We needed black toner, I found the best price with next day delivery at OfficeMax and ordered it. The next day it wasn't delivered, I checked the tracking and they "shipped" it the next day, which was going to be ok. I checked tracking again and it said it was in transit to us, that day ended and no toner. I checked tracking again and it said "delayed" and didn't make it to us for 4 more days. The excuse was that the truck broke down, I know they need to make a profit but they are shipping products via "independent" FedEx delivery drivers and not actually FedEx. It's a shame that since getting bought out by Office Depot, customer service has gone down the tube. Will no longer be buying products from them.

Their ad said if I bought 2 reams of paper, I'd get $10 towards a future purchase put on my rewards card. I bought the 2 reams, but when I went back in to use the $10, they didn’t put it on my rewards card. I now purchase office supplies anywhere else I can, but not at Office Depot.

We ordered an entire furniture set on February 27th, when the delivery came a few days later - 1 piece was missing - and 1 piece was incorrect. Since then, and for the past almost 3 weeks we have made call after call to Office Depot. We were told it was shipped, yet never received phone calls. They put it on the freight delivery company, so I made constant calls to them and they never received our order. Finally Office Depot admitted they lost our furniture and would refund us the amount of the 2 pieces and reorder the items. We were charged again for those 2 items and only offered a $20 credit as consolation. We have called every day - this company has the worst customer service I've ever experienced. Our office build out is on hold and I can't get my agents set into their offices with these things happening. Will never order from them again.

I placed an order online on Feb, 27, 2019 for a box of cookies that were to be an 85 ct box, a box of Keebler cookies that were an 8 count box and added 4 clearance packets of Puff pockets tissues to make the order free shipping. I received an order confirmation of the order as all was in stock almost immediately after I placed the order. The order was split into 2 separate order with 2 different order numbers. One for the big 85 count box of Cookies and One for the Keebler 8 ct and the Puff tissues. The cost of the 85 count cookies were $34.99 which was reduced to $27.99 via a code I had added being a first time customer. The Keebler cookies on sale were 7.90 the tissues .39 ea. I received an email confirmation of shipment and my credit card was charged for all the items in both orders.
Within a few days I did receive the supposedly 85 count box of cookies but they were not 85 packets of cookies in the box. There were only 75 and they were squished into the box. I opened a pack and most of the cookies were crumbs. These were not what I had expected to receive, I called Office Depot and spoke to an agent whom I could not understand but he did give me a reference number and stated someone would contact me asap. No one did. I sent an email and called again, I was told that I would have to wait until they contacted their dealer/seller as the product was from a third party "seller". I said If I'd known I was buying from a SELLER I would have ordered for eBay! I had never heard of such a thing - Office Depot could not do anything before they spoke to the seller of the Cookies?? This makes no sense.
Now I am waiting for my other cookies still and I get a phone call that they are not available and won't be shipped. How can that be when I have already received a shipping confirmation on that order and a tracking number - I checked the tracking number and it was for the cookies I already received! The other tracking number for the cookies I did receive showed it was never shipped. Office Depot charged my credit card for both orders and both were not shipped and how could they have stated they were shipped when they were out of stock/unavailable as they told me on the phone. I went back and forth too many times to keep track and all I wanted was my money credited back for items that I didn't receive and to return the defective cookies asking for a prepaid label.
It became so discouraging it literally began to make me sick. I go to church if I feel up to it but that's it other than doctors. I do all online shopping even to my groceries. This is the first time I have ever been so infuriated with a company as I am Office Depot as they do not stand by the products they sell and they have the worst customer service I have ever encountered.
Office Depot has no clue as to what they are doing, they had tracking numbers mixed up and I was charged for orders that were not shipped. I finally did see a credit on my credit card for the cost amount of $27.99 and I had spoke to an agent that asked if I wanted to order the Keebler cookies and I said, "NO, they are not available anyway," and she said she did not know why I was told that because they were available and so were the Puff tissues. If I still wanted them she would order them for me at the cost of only $4.00 for the cookies and .13 for the tissues and she would also credit my account right at that time for the original cost that was charged. I said I would do it, I'm a fool, or blame it on the TBI and other multiple health issues or the point that I trusted this girl.
I don't know if I received the original order Keebler cookies or the ones she said she ordered but I was charged the full amount, not what she had told me and I had the email she sent confirming the amount. I don't care anymore, Office Depot did credit my credit card for the $27.99 and took off the amount of the cookies only to add it back on twice. I can live with it but this whole ordeal has made me physically ill and I don't want anymore to do with Office Depot. They have called my home and I'm not able to get to the phone at times. They called today March 9, 2019 and I don't want anymore to do with them. I told the last person not to call me anymore. If they need to contact me do it via email.
They are scammers, sell products they don't have available but charge you for them and say they have shipped. I just want to make other consumers aware of Office Depot so they will never have to go through what I did. Do not order from this company, they have "Sellers" and can't made decisions without the seller's consent. That is ridiculous! I have started a BAN on Office Depot and it is already went from NY to VA. Most of the stores have shut down, wonder why? None near me.
