She was extremely knowledgeable and professional. She was patient with me, and it’s good to have a place to go back to when I need things done the right way. Absolutely flawless execution and communication.

This particular review is for Veyer, which is a third party that office max and Office Depot use to print their business cards. So I've given these guys two goes. The first time they confuse the glossy side with the matte side of a business card. That's not huge, but when you're dealing with a photography business and your photos are exported according to the type of paper that they're going to be printed on, that makes pretty big difference. In other words the glossy side was actually supposed to be the matte side.

Second time around, absolute nightmare. I designed the image I already knew about the safe zones, I downloaded the proof as evidence, yet 1250 business cards showed up with white spaces at the bottom or side. Some of them were the bottom end this side. So apparently Veyer doesn't have an actual human being checking cards before they box them, and they don't take care of their printers because they're way off calibration. Sadly, there's no way to really contact office Depot higher echelon, to inform them that the third party is not doing their job correctly.

OfficeMax, on the other hand, has done an excellent job at rectifying the situation. They're hand trimming them using a rotary trimmer. How is a bit surprised that the lady would so willingly take on the task, that I will be rewarding her with a free print of one of my photos. My rounded corners on my cards won't be perfect, but I needed them for tomorrow, so it will work.

Reordered checks and when received the printing on the checks was faint and partially missing text on all the checks. I called customer service to get new checks reprinted since the others cannot be used but they told me the printer would email me. I received email from Veyer stating a custom order cannot be returned. The issue had nothing to do with the custom text and a return was not needed. The print quality should be legible and acceptable to banks.

Don't even know where to start. Went on line looking for a new multi-function machine and decided on a XeroxC325. Worked once and then had nothing but issues. Reached out to Xerox and they have not been able to help. Took it back to OD and they couldn't complete the return. Got an email a short time ago telling me that because it was beyond their 14 day window they would not take it back. Not only will they not help me solve my problem they refuse to take it back. Useless unacceptable service. I will never spend another dime at Office Depot. So I spent $750 on a machine that is useless. They can take their return policy and shove it.

I found a desk and hutch I liked at office Depot and kept thinking about it. I decided to look online for a better price which I did find. I went to their website and saw that they price match so I headed to their website store to collect my office furniture. The gentleman helping us said they do price match but only from certain companies. Of course the one I found wasn’t one they matched, however that store is only about 20 minutes away. So for a $300 savings we decided to make the trip! From a business standpoint I do not understand the limited price matching. We have visited this store several times and each time there are few if any customers there. They lost a sale today but they didn’t seem bothered by it. Guess they do a lot of company business and aren’t interested in consumer sales.

I had a $45 digital gift card and tried to place an online order. There was a $5 and change difference. I got a confirmation email with this listed. I then got a notice that my credit card was charged the full amount. I called customer service and was assured it would come off when the gift card was applied. THEN my credit card showed 2 pending transactions, one for the $5 one for the full amount. I got a notice it was backordered so I just went ahead and cancelled it.

My credit card pending charge disappeared but they took the gift card balance. It is now $0. I have been on several phone lines, multiple texts, multiple chats from multiple sources, transfers etc for HOURS and for multiple days. I am even getting cut off repeatedly and having to re explain this every time. They all insist my account is showing that it all went to my credit card. I honestly think they tried to charge me twice but regardless, I have gotten the biggest runaround on the planet with everyone insisting it didn't happen.

When I call the gift card line I can pull it up on my transaction history, the transaction is $45 on that day for Office Depot (and it is an OD only gift card). I do not know why they cannot look this up. The gift card hotline just says "cannot be completed" when I ask for a human. I've tried it for three days now. As of right now, I still haven't gotten anyone to admit they did it, much less fix this issue. 🤬

I placed an order for a printer on 8/20/25 using gift cards. Initially it said my order was shipped. Then I received an email stating the printer was on back order and the order number was modified. When I did not receive the order for weeks, I contacted customer support. There have since been numerous contacts and I am now being told my gift cards were not charged, however, of a $240 balance I now have $4.61. Any calls to the gift card department are disconnect “due to technical difficulties.” My problem has been “escalated” and the initial response time of 24-48 hours has been further extended 3-5 business days. My hope for resolution is dwindling and I am meanwhile out of a printer that I rely upon for work. I guess the bright side is that since I cannot work, I have more time to stay in the line trying to get help. DO NOT purchase gift cards for this company. If I had used my credit card, at least I could have disputed with them.

WORSE COMPANY! I placed an order on 9/3 for an A frame. They immediately call me because of a credit card issue. we get that fixed over the phone and the agent assures me that my order will be delivered on Monday, as planned. The order doesn’t show up Monday, Tuesday and then at end of day Wednesday I get an email saying my order never went through and to call in. I called in and speak with Office Depot's Sri Lanka call center, which is A HORRIBLE experience. People BARELY speaking English and most of the time you can’t understand them so they apologize over and over and over and over. It seems like that’s the ONLY thing their call center is capable of doing, apologizing non stop.

I was transferred to 4 different people and had to explain my situation every single time with them apologizing and telling me that they can’t help me. I asked the first phone agent to speak to a supervisor or manager to which he said there are none there right now but management should be available in a few hours. He kept wanting to disconnect the call and have someone call me back when management gets in the office. I instantly knew he was a LIAR! Why would a USA company who is outsourcing their phone center to India, not have management during USA business hours. (I called in at 9.45am)

I was VERY adamant that I was not getting off the phone until I spoke with a supervisor or manager. After 3 minutes the agent said a manager is available now. So he transferred me to another phone agent so I got the chance to explain my situation yet AGAIN!!! After 40 minutes I finally got a ”manager” on the phone. To wish she began to tell me how it’s my fault the order didn’t go through because I should have called my bank to confirm the payment when through. That it’s not up to Office Depot to confirm payment was received. Which is REALLY weird because when I initially made the order there was an issue and someone called me immediately and said the problem was “fixed”! This “manager” kept cutting me off and trying to talk over me as I was explaining and asking questions.

I finally asked the “manager” to stop talking over me and listen to me. This didn’t sit well for ”Ms. Manager“ because the next thing I know I was disconnected after being on the phone for 45 minutes. Oh, on top of all that.… The “manager” said that I could get my delivered on 9/16 now. Sssssssssooooooooooo… Office Depot screws up this whole situation and then tells me I can pay full price for the stuff that was supposed to be delivered 3 days but I’ll get it in another 7 days. 🤡 🤡 DO. NOT. DO. BUSINESS. WITH. THIS. SHITTY. COMPANY. USA company, Outsourcing to India 🤮🤮🤢🤢

I’m extremely disappointed with the online return process. My scheduled pickup was completely missed, and despite multiple calls throughout the evening, no one resolved the issue. The item—four bottles of Dial hand soap—is heavy and difficult to move in and out of the main door, yet I was left to deal with it alone. To make matters worse, someone mistakenly processed the return for an order I haven’t even received yet. This level of disorganization is unacceptable. The department handling returns seems chaotic and unresponsive. If I could give a rating of -10, I would. Please fix this process. Customers deserve better.

I have been a customer of Office Depot for over 20 years. In that time the service has been dependable. Since the store in Houma Louisiana was closed our supplies are shipped from other cities. That is when the service that we had come to know began to decline. Most recently we received an incorrect item 2 months ago. We were given instructions on how to process a return. It would appear the return has been placed on ignore. We have spoken to company representatives that have told us that it is in progress. The company website has been useless and when you mention returns on the toll free number the system hangs up. It would appear that we are witnessing the decline of Office Depot. Although my company will be taking our business elsewhere I hope that Office Depot can make some positive changes in customer service. In this competitive market you rarely get second chances. I wish you well.

I ordered a vehicle owner's manual to be printed through their website. It was basic print job with a plastic comb binding. The PDF file had the pages in landscape orientation with the binding at the top, so you could flip through it (like a wall calendar.) I confirmed that the proof was correct before approving the sale. It was fairly expensive-costing over $100 for the final B&W print. When the package was delivered, I noticed that the comb binding was on the bottom side so when reading, you would need to read the opposite page first. This was not acceptable, so I called customer service to see if I could get it corrected. I went through several "automated option trees" before finally speaking with someone. She confirmed that the proof that I approved was correct but the error was on their end. She said I needed to speak with someone else and when she transferred me, the call was dropped.

I tried calling again, and this time the person I was supposed to speak with was not available. I was told she would call or email me back when she was free. That was an hour spent on the phone by this time. Three days later, I had not heard anything, so I went into the store to see if they could fix it. I was told they do not do comb binding there, and they would be happy to return it, but I would be on my own to reorder the whole thing online again. I asked if they could reorder it while I was there since I've already spent way too much time on this manual, and reluctantly, the nice employee said he would.

I left the store with a refund for the original job, a receipt for the re-ordered job (and it wound up costing more this time), and they kept my original manual (that I had gotten the refund for). This was another hour and a half getting to the store, waiting for service and driving home. This morning I see an email that they were unable to complete my order without any explanation why and cancelled it. So now I am back at the start with nothing...with no manual and several hours of my time wasted that I will never get back. My recommendation is to avoid using Office Depot for print jobs as they seem to be unable to correct their mistakes and it will wind up costing you time and money.

Office Depot clearly needs to overhaul its internal processes to manage returns and refunds. I received a damaged file cabinet six weeks ago, and returned it promptly. Rather than issuing a credit, Office Depot required that I return the item and arranged for it to be picked up. It was confirmed as received back in the warehouse over a month ago but despite 4 phone calls to customer service, I have yet to see the refund, which appears to have been "approved" by the credit team, but no refund has yet been issued. Each time I call, this is the status, but no actual refund is issued back to my credit card. There is no excuse for this protracted and convoluted process. I will not order from Office Depot again.

My experience in Office Depot in Orange City, Fl. will have me never returning. My purchase was one copy of any enlargement of a quilting pattern. The policy is anything performed behind the counter at the print department has a minimum charge of $2.50. A very pleasant ** guy enlarged my pattern. He may have been a new employee and had a little problem getting the sizing but eventually got it right. My problem came when it came to ring up my order. Another gentleman appeared to make sure my salesman knew what he was doing. Apparently, another policy is in order to pay out. They need your name, address, phone number, and email before they can take your money.

It is my policy to protect my personal information, so I declined. The manager said it was the only way to complete the sale. It was necessary for the next time I came in. I almost left, there's no telling what Office Depot really does with this information especially over a $2.50 cash sale. But the kid had worked hard, a line was forming because they are understaffed, and I needed the pattern, so I gave them some of the info they were demanding. I won't be back, even though they are the only big box office store in a 20-mile radius. There are lots of businesses that request personal info, and when you decline, they say ok and finish the sale. Office Depot should follow that business model.

They all have a big attitude problem and all of them including the manager Jennifer at the Viera store are extremely rude. Try Staples or any other office store if you want cheaper prices and quick service without an attitude. I tried to place a print job at Office Depot and was told he could have the the order done in an hour and it would be $137.00. When I questioned why it was so high, I was told to do the order on line it would be cheaper. So I went home to place the order online, it was $20.00 cheaper, but I was going to have to wait 3 - 5 days to have the print job completed.

I couldn't wait 3-5 days, so I went back to the store and the guy I was dealing with in the print shop was gone. When I explained everything to the girl behind the counter, she said; (without even looking up to see how many orders they had) it's going to take that long even if I ordered it in the store. When the manager came out I explained the situation to her and also (without even looking to see how many orders they had), she said the same thing, her attitude was we don't need your business, take it or leave it. I asked her for her name and she said, Jennifer. When I asked for her last name she said, "I'm not giving you that information." Thankfully, I ended up at Staples in Melbourne. The same print job at Staples was $25.04 and it will be ready the next day. The attached receipt is for paper that was purchase to do the print job.

I patiently waited the two days, but my pictures still weren't ready. So, I decided to go to Office Depot and asked the photo center lady, who had a nose piercing, politely if she could help me with my order. She immediately gave me attitude and said she hadn't gotten my photos ready because she was "busy." There weren't many people there, so I asked nicely if she could help me now since I was there. She responded, "I cannot help you. You will have to wait until I get to them or I can refund you."

I was very embarrassed and ashamed of how rude she was, so I asked for a refund. She turned around and left me talking without giving proper guidance on how my refund would be processed. I waited, and she ignored me for quite some time. After she got tired of ignoring me, she said, "I will cancel your order via email." I was shocked and upset. She couldn't even resolve my refund right there. I understand any job can be stressful and hectic, but you always need to provide decent customer service and be a little more respectful to people. She is definitely not a problem solver. Thanks for nothing, Office Depot. I guess I will be waiting for my refund via email?

So I did join, and then ordered about $300 in toner, but no discount. I went to help, opened a chat, and about a half hour later, I had received assurances that I would receive a $30 refund in 4-7 days.

A day later, I got an email asking why I thought I was entitled to this refund, which I answered, and the following day I got another email telling me that my toner purchases weren't include in the program (and I still don't know why -- they were HP cartridges, not some sketchy unknown brand). Okay, I asked if I could cancel my membership, and since I had it for less than a week and received no benefit (they weren't out any money for discounts), I expected a refund for the membership fee. Nope!

So I told the rep that I would keep the membership alive until I recouped my $49 loss and then cancel and never shop there again. I find it remarkable that they're willing to lose a customer over $30, particularly since I was only asking for the benefit I had been promised. This negative experience has really soured me on Office Depot/Max. I am a small business owner, and I know that losing my $1-2K annual expenditures won't hurt them, but these losses do add up.

I needed cases of copy paper and found a good price at Office Depot online. A bonus was free delivery. The problem with the transaction came on the delivery day. OD uses VEYER as their delivery service. The driver arrived on the promised day - so far, so good. I met him at the curb to direct the delivery. In his van were about 60 cases of copy paper and I was to receive 10. As he began to unload the cases onto his dolly, I noticed that several of the cases were quite damaged - boxes crushed, torn and in awful condition. Since I was standing there, I wrongfully assumed he would choose the cases of paper that were in better shape.

Of the 10 cases, three he gave me looked like they had been run over by a truck. He loaded all 10 cases onto his dolly and when he attempted to move the dolly, all 10 cases collapsed onto the street. Many of the cases broke open and reams of paper spilled in the street and were torn open, as well. I told the driver that this was unacceptable and I wanted him to replace the damaged items from the supply of cases still on his truck. He said "No." He further explained that the cases I was to receive were the ones he selected from the truck and if I had a concern, I could call OD. He further stated that this botched delivery was not his problem. He picked up the mess and stuffed the paper into the torn boxes and left. I blame OD for their poor choice of delivery services and regardless of price, will never purchase from them again.

Worst website I've ever been on. Fix and simplify the way business cards are made and cut. Your examples don't make any sense. Every time we make cards with you we waste money because they come out bad. Also we've been double charged many times and customer service does nothing. At this point just close all of these stores. They are overpriced.
