    I bought $11,036 worth of maple cabinets from this Menards one year ago. Menards made one man, alone, deliver these large units. The cabinets, unsurprising, fell and broke off the truck. Not the delivery man's fault, one man cannot handle them. They were left with me anyway. I have been calling/emailing/texting with menards customer service on and off for 12 months, and Menards has not settled this. One unit was replaced. Menards has not paid for the repairs of the damage or replaced the other cabinets. They have not discounted for the gauges and scratches of the remaining cabinets. Beyond a delivery issue, this is a failure of product management, warranty fulfillment, and quality assurance. Spare yourself the time, money, and headache.

    The inventory is ALWAYS wrong. You can never trust the inventory status on the website and if you call, the employees will lie to you and tell you that they have products in stock that they do not actually have. Menards' primary function is to maintain inventory so that people can GIVE THEM MONEY. I know Menards focuses on TAKE THE MONEY, but they first have to provide the customer with a product to purchase!

    I ordered 2 basement windows for my house and was told 2 months! Got message from Menards that they were in so wife and I drove the 26 miles to get them! Went to pickup desk and these guys kept looking at computer and finally said that maybe 1 window was here but come other didn’t get ordered! Well after further looking neither window was ordered and assured me they would be ordered on Monday by dept manager! Got a letter from Menards with new order and receipt with order date 7/9/2025 and estimated delivery 8/20/2025.

    Decided to check on them on 9/5/2025 on their website and to my surprise it was cancelled on 15th of July so I call to check with store and sure enough they’ve been canceled. I tell them I want my money back and they say I will have to come into store to do this with the CC so again drive the 26 miles and they give me my money back and as I’m walking out I look at receipt and it’s only for one window and I tell the guy it was 2 windows so he tries to do another credit and finally says it’s over 90 days and all they can give me is store credit. I say no and he tells me the the credit works for anything in store and I say I have to buy the windows again but not from you and that doesn’t help! Much to my dismay I take the credit! The manager was there and really showed me no remorse so I won’t be ordering anything again from Menards!

    The advertisement was clear in it's mention that the pillow was made of "cotton and memory". The problem was the pillow was not cotton and was not memory. The tag although in Chinese was clearly marked polyester fabric and filling. This is not just about returning the pillow for a refund. It’s about my time, energy and gas. It is also about misinformation, obvious error in product, and allergy to polyesters. The pillow is worthless at any price. I wanted to talk to someone from corporate and no response.

    Updated on 09/08/2025: This is a follow up to the response to the review I filed with the West Wichita, KS Menards on August 22, 2025. They finally chose to reply two weeks later on Sept. 5, 2025. The reply from 'Kacie' and the Menards Team of the West Wichita KS store gave an email address to ask what can they do better?

    First: They can reply to my original issues noted above, which neither the West Wichita store or their corporate offices have yet to respond to me. I asked for the detail of what they initiated and perpetuated claiming that I made 'racist statements'. Again, unless Menards can provide the detail, this is demeaning and defamatory.

    Second: To the unsuspecting and trusting public, should you encounter and endure the same violation of respect and trust from Menards please contact: The Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection at: 2811 Agriculture Drive, P.O. Box 8911, Madison WI 53708-8911. Even though the transaction and defamation (unless they can provide the requested evidence to the contrary) occurred in Kansas, because they are domiciled in Wisconsin, any cases such as this should be filed with them. I received a timely response from that office. They forwarded me a copy of a letter sent to the Menards corporate office asking them to review my concerns and to contact me directly. WI DATCP #**.

    Original Review: I purchased countertop material and a kitchen sink from Menards West Wichita, Ks. I used as an installer referenced and displayed at that store of and by a Jarom **, dba JRConstruction. After he quit working at my residence, I tried on multiple occasions in contacting him for a receipt of the work he had done and answers to issues I had regarding his installation work, he was not responding. I also approached the Menards store in person on multiple trips since they still were in contact with him and continued and continue to display him as a referenced installer in their cabinet/appliance department (as of July 30, 2025).

    Finally, I received an email from that Menards store claiming 'you (implying me) made racist statements.... that we wasn't responding to you due to this' (Menards use of improper English noted). This was a general statement of claims of 'racist statements' on the Menards electronic domain (email), and by a Menards employee apparently on their time clock at the time of the dissemination of that email. I immediately, the next day, asked them in detail what exactly I said were 'racist statements'? I have also asked their corporate office in Wisconsin specifically in detail what I said were these statements. As of today, there has been no response to my request of the accused claims against me.

    On July 30, 2025, I went to that Menards store to ask in person, the manager of what in 'detail' I said were 'racist statements'. The acting manager at that time was a 'Darrell', as Justin ** (the current manager) was apparently not there. 'Darrell' used the same excuse that ** made in his email to me, that it was made by a person no longer at Menards. 'Darrell' said he would have to end the conversation, that it was a legal issue. He wrote down my email and phone number. Either he did not pursue (probably not surprisingly, as indicated by his demeanor to me) or their legal department is refusing to reply, as I have not received the requested detail to date of what I was accused of making.

    Since Menards still has (as of July 30, 2025) a business relationship (i.e. has him displayed as a reference installer in their cabinet/appliance area) with ** (dba JR Construction Co), it is presumed they are currently in contact with him (as the email indicated he is presumed to have been the one making the general claim that I made racist statements). And, Menards is/was an accomplice by delaying the response/no response to me, as they indicated in their email (in the attached) 'that we wasn't responding to you due to this'.

    Their reasoning for no reply for my request of the detail of racist statements they claimed I made is that the manager that initiated that email is no longer with Menards. Regardless of which Menards employee spread claims accusing me of making racist statements, it was a Menards employee, not on his or her personal time. The burden is on Menards to produce the detail I am requesting as they initiated this general claim of me making 'racist statements', otherwise Menards is making (via that email to me) false claims that is defamatory towards me.

    It is also important to note I took the installer, Jarom ** (dba JR Construction) to Sedgwick County, KS small claims court in January 2025 regarding his defective installation work. I was awarded a summary judgement against **. The judgement became delinquent. I had to seek garnishment, it was paid I am presuming by him and not received by me until June 2025.

    I write this with regret, as I had put trust in Menards and their business relationship(s) in spending my hard earned money. I now will only visit them and buy only their sale items (minimal margins, if any). I hope other members of the public will take heed to my disappointment and not be victims of disrespect and defamatory treatment by this Menards store and now as evidenced by no response from their corporate legal department, Menards in general.

    Before buying cabinets from Menards find out the amount of assembly required. They leave out when selling them how much assembly is required. I found out when they delivered a massive amount of small boxes (I ordered 9 cabinets and 84 boxes showed up). According to the delivery guys it happens all the time. Not one person at Menards cared about it when I called. I was told they wouldn’t send anyone to pick them up and guess what’s in the fine print. 25% restocking fee if you return them. I really liked my sales girl, I am so disappointed now with her. She also lied about the interior of the cabinets that I thought I was upgrading. The upgrade was only on drawers. So now the drawers and cabinets have different insides. Trying to find a corporate number is impossible! Such a disappointing experience!

    I purchased a new Ariens Razor 21" push mower 6 weeks ago, used it 6 times to mow my yard and the mechanism to control the height of the front wheels broke off. I took it back to the store and they refused to refund the price. It was almost $650 and they told me I would have to take it to a repair shop. The closest one is 15 miles away and their repair tech is out on medical leave for at least another month or longer. The Manager, Vance, wouldn't even look at me or answer any questions I had. Just gave me an 800 # and said I had to call them and take it in for repair. So I have a brand new mower that should last for years and it lasted 6 weeks and now I'm stuck finding a repair center when there are none in our area. It was the worst customer service experience I've had in years and unbelievable they do not stand behind their products. They also need new management as Vance has no clue how to treat their customers!!!

    Menards.com. Aug 19, 2025. I will NEVER buy lumber from them again! I built a large deck, ordered all the lumber online. I had some unused material left over and when returning it, this is where it all went bad. I loaded the lumber up and went to the Springfield, MO store where I bought it. Waited in line at the service desk and they filled out a big form of the items, then someone had to go to my truck and inventory the items, then I went to the lumber yard gate where the gate attendant inventoried it again. I was told to put the lumber back in its spot and come back to the gate for more paperwork.

    I got the paperwork the service desk wanted, waited in line again and when I got up there, they told me I did not have all the correct paperwork and they also needed to see my receipts again. So I walked back out to my truck, got the receipts, went back in and guess what ... waited in line again. She processed the returns and told me a portion was going to be store credit. Let's say I "strongly objected," so she called a manager to the desk. After about 5 minutes, a manager showed up and "educated" her on that this refund did not require store credit. I finally received the refund. All of this took 45 minutes; it felt like they threw any and all obstacles in my path to not return the lumber. This will not be an issue as like I began this with, I will NEVER buy lumber from them again.

    BUYER BEWARE - NEVER order something from Menards that is not in stock! The Rhinelander, Wis store was out of the 10,300 BTU portable A/C, thus they brought one to the store for us from the fulfillment center in Eau Claire. The cost of the unit was $469. Once we got to our cottage, we realized the unit was too big to fit the space, and I called to cancel the order. After 5 attempts on 2 days to speak with someone, I finally got through with someone answering the phone. I was told there is a 25% restocking fee. We're paying $117 "restocking" fee. Seriously?? 😐 We're done. Good bye Menards - we will be shopping elsewhere from now on. Ridiculous!!!

    My husband has been a carpenter for over 38 years, and we are the owners of our business. We purchased lumber from Menards a month ago to build a deck around our pool. I placed the order online, and the process was straightforward. When the delivery arrived, we received a batch of lumber that was of poor quality. The boards had holes, warping, and appeared to be damaged or defective. This was quite disappointing and frustrating.

    I contacted a manager to request a replacement for approximately 12 pieces of lumber. Unfortunately, the response was not very accommodating. We have spent thousands of dollars at Menards, and as homeowners who have made significant improvements to our property, we expected better quality. I also shared photos of the damaged lumber, which appeared to be in poor condition.

    While we could have chosen other suppliers, we opted to do business with Menards because we value your offerings and also shop there regularly for our business needs. We also refer our customers to you. We encourage Menards to be more diligent in selecting quality lumber to meet customer expectations and ensure satisfaction. Picking out Lumber from your company, like it is coming to your house!

    I placed a delivery order and received what I thought was the correct things. I ordered a canopy umbrella and it was 2 boxes. I received the 2 boxes and when I went to set up my canopy umbrella, it was 2 boxes of the same thing instead of all the pieces needed to build the umbrella. When I contact the store and customer service they were useless. They told me I'd have to get the boxes back to the store to get a refund. I explained the reason I had them delivered was because the boxes would not fit in my car. They basically told me I was shit out of luck. This umbrella was $200. SO Now I have a useless canopy umbrella. They were not willing to offer a credit for their error or come back and pick up the pieces. I will never shop their store again. I am beyond disappointed in their customer service and will not shop there again.

    I ordered Bailey straw for my pond. Waited four days and I got these black pipe things. Can't get ahold of customer service and Menards is going to charge me a percentage to put back on the Shelf after I paid $25. Are you serious. I'll go somewhere else and pay more to make sure the product is right and I won't be charged to put it back on the Shelf. I'm disappointed. This wasn't my mistake. This was your mistake and you're going to charge me a percentage to put it back on the Shelf.

    I'm not sure about ALL Menards stores, but MINE is awesome! Never a problem with returns. It's a retail operation so sometimes I have to hunt for someone on the floor. I Love their APP. But my FAVORITE thing is that the rebate program is better than S&H Green stamps. Even when I make purchases with my rebates and my credits from using my Menards card, I get the 11% rebate if it's in effect! Too Cool!

    Menards needs to have a way to upload rebates receipts instead of having to mail them in. I never mail anything and don’t keep stamps. Who does anymore? It’s 2025, customers should be able to upload receipts to their rewards or membership accounts for rebates. I went to the website to contact customer service and their “customer service bot” refused to assist me without first giving an email address saying they needed it in case we were disconnected. This is ridiculous. Then when I asked the question regarding uploading rebate receipts I could tell it didn’t actually read my questions because it kept giving me an automated response asking what order they could help me with… Uggh, so frustrating!!!!

    For the everyday homeowner Menards might suffice, however, if you don't want to be defrauded or are a contractor/professional or homeowner doing a large project this is the last place that you want to shop. On February 27th and in March I made about $183k in purchases in about 4 transactions for the construction of a custom home in Colorado that included practically everything to build a home like nails/glue/icf/doors/rebar/electrical/tools/plumbing/floor joists/lumber/trusses and much more.

    The process to make those 4 transactions took about 11hrs in store because of Menard's archaic payment system and employees that are very poorly trained and lack experience...this includes store management. Their website does not have the ability to share built carts with themselves/employees so the employees where forced to have me email the pdf of the cart to them so they could print it out to paper so they could transfer it to the store system by using pencil to mark off progress on a cart that was about 18 pages long, so that I could make the large payment in store with cashiers check as they do not offer wiring or electronic options that are typical in this industry.

    I discovered mistakes by Menard's employees on the first large $137,834.55 order (see pic of 7' receipt) the day after it was made in-store, such as ordering 10 ceiling fans even though I handed them a list with 1 ceiling fan or ordering 1 garage door when I had listed 3 to be ordered. I contacted an employee immediately and requested to return the items that totaled about $13,465 but was told that I needed to wait 10 days so that my CASHIERS CHECK could clear. I waited the 10 days and then was told that I could only make the return in store, which I did. Then I was informed that the return needed to be reviewed by corporate because it was over $10k.

    One would assume that this review might take a week at the most, however, in my case I only heard of an answer 3 weeks ago that my return was denied after I called Mike the store manager and was only told it is denied because of video evidence, even though I never received these items. I requested an accounting of why my return was denied, however, Mike did not have anything and told me that he could do no more and to call Menard's general customer service number and leave a message then someone would write me back via snail mail. I have left 2 messages requesting an accounting or explanation why my money is unjustly being held by Menard's, however, I have yet to receive any response...shady.

    Menard's employees told me that my purchase broke store records, which is kinda cool, however, I am a small fish at Home Depot where a problem like this would never occur. I do not have the funds my company desperately needs to operate because of Menard's actions and incompetency....Do not make the same mistake that I did.

    I recently worked on a deck project, and unfortunately, most of the products I received from Menards were completely subpar. I always aimed to get the best quality, including lumber and other materials, but I’m extremely disappointed. Compared to our local Lowe’s and Home Depot, the quality of the products at Menards is much worse, yet priced the same. There’s a rebate going on right now, which makes some items cheaper, but honestly, the rebate process is another hassle. Why not just offer a direct discount instead of making customers fill out forms and mail them like it’s still the 1980s?

    I was buying a toy for my grandson and the price did not match when it was rang up in register, so the lady in customer service check it and it says $7.99 and it was all the toys was stock up on the shelves with that price and the customer service said she can not give that price. She said it was $14.99. She was very rude.

    I am completely disappointed with Menards in general but especially the Mentor OH location. I have been a dedicated customer for 10+ years and have always paid my account on time. I have never had a problem with Home Depot being able to look up and use my account for purchases with my photo ID if I had accidentally forgotten or misplaced my card. I had an emergency purchase I needed to make today for an air conditioner for my elderly mother that her's broke and it is over 100 degrees in her small home.

    I have misplaced my card but had more than enough to cover the purchase and Menards had one in stock that would work for the square footage needed. I gave the cashier my ID, enter my full social security number and all my personal information as well as showed my account statement. They still declined my purchase because something about, until I received my new card in the mail it will not allow purchases with just my ID. Menards has now lost a dedicated customer who spent a lot of my hard earned money there. I have canceled my account with them and will never shop there again.

    Menards 4400 Town Ctr Blvd. Jeffersonville, IN 47130. I ordered 6 (Six) quantity of 12" x 20' Corrugated Dual-Wall Solid Belled End Culvert to be delivered on 10/09/2024 to my home. All was delivered except one had a defect. I originally reported this incident to Menards on November 21st 2024 with no response as of November 26, 2024 so I acted to write this review. And still today, there is still no resolution as of 7/8/2025. One is damaged with a hole in the tubing as noted by the three pictures as delivered to my home site. I am at a disadvantage to return the damage pipe since the drainage pipe is 20 feet long and I had to pay $244.51 extra shipping charges for a Menards truck to deliver them to me. Details below: Again, the drainage pipe is useless to me because of the hole in it as shown in pictures attached.

    Please advise of next steps.
    1) I requested a refund on the damage item, $199.99 plus tax for 12" x 20' Corrugated Dual-Wall Solid Belled End Culvert. I have no way to return since item is oversize and I paid Menards $244.51 Order# 75818 to ship to home address.
    OR

    2) Replace item with same price ordered at $199.99 and delivered to home address with no extra charges since it was damaged.

    We purchased 5 - 5 gallons of stain, ordered on line, cost $984.90. My son picked it up drove 2 hours, started to paint, not one of the cans/pails was mixed, drove 2 hours again to take it back, stood around for one hour so they could mix it, the paint manager handed me a piece of paper to send to the main office and they should reimburse me drive time/gas, took the day off to paint, couldn't because of the drive. I sent my complaint in and my response was this seldom happens, we have dedicated young employees who rarely make mistakes. I asked for $200 to reimburse for my time and gas, received nothing!!! I will not step foot in a Menards again, I will shop local and pay more but the service at Menards is absolutely horrible, I wasn't asking for a lot, just my gas money. Very disgusted!

    I placed an order and was told I would be contacted before it was delivered. Apparently, the delivery company called from a blocked number and my phone does not accept blocked numbers. I called Menards and the manager basically told me that they would do absolutely nothing about it that it was not their problem because a call was placed and it was my fault that I didn't get it and that they would not do anything about it and that I could just deal with it. This is the worst service ever. I guess Home Depot and Lowe's would prefer my money over them because at least I can get customer service there.

    This is the SECOND Time that I have Issues with This Paint Department. It had been 6 months, since last issue. I requested my order--he ignored me!!! I DEMANDED the request again, no apology, I walked away, when I returned the ** was hand shaking MY PAINT!!! If I didn't need it today I would have left it!!! SO STUPID!! So much for CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! No MORE!

    I bought an Earthquake® 8" 33cc Front Tine Gas Tiller/Cultivator at the St. Peters, MO location. After using in 2 times, it won't run when you press the throttle... It just died. Menards won't take back gas powered eqmt. If it's been used. What a joke! How do you know if it works if you don't use it?! The company who makes the tiller won't respond to any correspondence... Calls, emails, texts. How can eqmt. Under warranty be serviced if there is no one to contact? Menards does not stand behind what they sell.

    It was our first time ordering special order countertops. The manager of the department was very helpful and suggested we buy the template that would assure no mistakes before ordering, so we did. The template came in with a mistake, so I took back to store and the manager corrected the mistake before placing the final order for the countertop. She gave me copies of what she had sent to the manufacturer stating the mistake and how it needed to be corrected. We were on a very thin timeline for a potential buyer of the property. After all of that, the counter came in wrong. The manufacturer had not made the corrections she had asked for. We had to return the piece and reorder asking for a rush to be put on it since we were already behind schedule, which they assured us they would ask for. It didn't happen.

    I contacted the manufacturer myself and they refused to give me any guarantees that they could ship any sooner. We are still waiting and have lost our buyer. I would go elsewhere next time to purchase a special order countertop. This was a huge error on the manufacturer, not the store itself.. Lastly, we didn't get the style of edge that I had chosen when ordering but we are not starting over at this point.

    There's never staff when you need help, help doesn't care because they aren't paid properly and everyone hates John Menard. I bought items to redo two bathrooms and sent in my rebates and no one could ever find them. Thousands of dollars and no rebate. You know John tells staff to do that. I will drive an hour away so I never step foot in a Menards again. The items are trash, the boards are warped, broken and full of knots. I hate this store and will never go back.

    I recently purchased almost $7,000 in granite and there was supposed to be a 11% Rebate offer. I submitted all the paper work and only received a rebate for $119. I called Menards to ask if I could return to a closer store to get a exchanged, I was informed that Menards does not exchange has lawnmower because of the liquids on them, now I am so confused because you have to put the liquids on to see if it works, then I was informed that I could take it to get it repaired, and pay for it out of my own pocket… I was so irritated you would give me a nonworking lawnmower, you won’t exchange and I have to take it to get repaired.

    We recently visited Menards to look at area rugs. We found one we liked but they didn’t have the size we needed. The sales associate that was assisting us suggested we go online and order it. This seemed like a good idea since we all order items on line these days. Upon receiving the rug we unrolled it and realized it was the wrong color. We returned the rug today and we were informed that they would have to charge us $67 to carry it back to the rug department. What a great way to say thank you for your business.     I purchased 30 mosaic tiles on March 15, 2025 for $362.69 from Menards. Thereafter, I found a better deal at Home Depot. So, I returned the 30 mosaic tiles on March 31, 2025, but received a refund of only $322.79. When I question the rep. I was told that Menards was processing my rebate and therefore I could not be refunded the full amount. However, since I was returning the tiles, I was told that I may not receive the rebate. I don't understand this policy. So, essentially, I paid Menards $39.90 for nothing. What a scam. Don't ever fall for the Menards Rebate Scam. And, Menards - YOU just lost a customer for life!

    WORST customer service I've had in a long time. Do any of their employees enjoy working there? 80% of the people I engaged with just stared at me until I spoke to start the conversation, and NONE of them appeared to be having a nice day. I purchased a stepladder before I drove home to empty my vehicle and make room, and was told it would be waiting at the front entrance. When I returned to the front entrance, they told me it would now be waiting at door 15. When I drove all the way around to door 15... they told me to go to door 3. And when I drove over to door 3... I find that it's about 20 FEET from where the ladders were inside! That means even the employee working the area with the ladders had no idea there was the option for me to pick it up just outside.

    I didn't have far to drive home, so I rolled my back windows down, put the ladder in the back seat, and let it stick out the side. On my way out of the yard, I presented my receipt to the guy at the gate, and got a VERY snarky and disrespectful "Um... doesn't your back seat fold down!?!?" I already knew that the angle would be too shallow, but didn't feel the need to explain that to this snide assclown. Instead, I simply asked him "Well, should I hop out of the car, and rearrange it right now?" He said "Uh... I don't know, but that's not how I would have done it." Horrible service, piss-poor attitudes from employees, and a level of disrespect I have not received as a paying customer (spent over $200) in a long, long time. I'll be going to Home Depot, or ANYPLACE else from now on.

    Went to the Menards Buffalo and our carpet guy decided to multitask when we walked away and help others which took quite a bit of time to get our product. The cashier was short and definitely the yard person that opens the gate was having a bad day. He was texting on his phone and when he walked over after we honked and had waited five minutes He ripped the receipt out of her hands to scan it when we came in and didn’t say one single word just an angry look.     Rebate program is a scam. They lure you in to making a purchase by promising an 11% rebate on an online purchase, make you follow several steps to fill out and 'qualify' for mail-in rebate, then send you a postcard for the amount that has to be used in a retail location. NOT A REBATE, it is a worthless coupon (that they have decided to call a 'Merchandise Credit Check', as if renaming it somehow makes it legal) for a store that is across the country and requires an additional purchase in order to be used. Better Business Bureau and Attorney General claims are easy to file for deceptive marketing practices, and should be.

    Menards made a mistake in our special order for our entrance door to or home. When we picked up the order and got home we noticed it was wrong. When calling to talk to them they told us we should have checked their paper work so it’s our fault. When disagreeing very strongly and talking to the manager and general manager. They said, "Sorry you have to pay the 25% restocking fee." Then they told me that there is nothing that will or should be done and hung up on me.

    We stood there choosing every detail about our special order door then handed us the paper the paper that was printed and that their employee gave us was wrong. We turned it in but it was claimed that we should have double checked their employee mistake to make sure what they printed to us was correct. I don’t work for Menards I trusted what they gave us was correct. They said they was done. They won’t admit it was their mistake. We lost 700.00 They then hung up on me.

    Menards falsely advertises unless you read the very "fine print"---you have to option to purchase online, since the stores only exist physically in a few states, with promoted rebates---BUT when you finally receive the rebate in the mail, it is only valid if spent in the store! It is obvious Menards does not have a concern for customer service--and is basically fine with the money you will lose through their false advertisements indicating you will get a rebate. My one and only purchase at Menards is all they will get from me as a customer.

    We purchased an exterior door for a remodel of a cottage home 100 miles away. We were diligent to look over the door because we have observed many dented and damaged doors like it when we purchased one like it in the past. After taking the door to the project site 100 miles away and removing the original door, we removed the packaging of the new door and discovered a 4 inch long, 1/2 deep "chip" in the framing. Clearly damage during handling, likely by careless Menards employees.

    Having a huge project to manage with limited time and such a great distance, we were upset to have a damaged product and considered returning the door. That would have delayed the project and meant hours of work to re-install the old door then a 200 mile round trip to return the door. Since we have some experience in wood finishing, we decided to try to repair it ourselves, though it would always be visible, we felt we could make it at least acceptable.

    We were confident Menards would stand behind its products, never expect a loyal and valuable customer to accept damaged goods at full price, so at a later visit, we asked about a partial refund or at least a store credit of some amount. Even as little as 10% of the purchase price would have satisfied us. It was to everyone's benefit. We would be made whole after purchasing a damaged product at full price, and avoided many hours of work and delay to our project.

    Menards would have displayed appropriate customer service and avoided a lengthy process that involved many employees time and expense. No one would be stuck dealing with a damaged door, but most valuable, that would have inspired our confidence and customer loyalty. But instead, after MULTIPLE requests for reasonable customer service, the only resolution was to insist that Mid-West Manufacturing supply a new door frame/jam, requiring that we remove the old door, deconstruct it and re-install it, risking more damage and costing us too much in terms of time and work. Both companies spent MUCH more effort to deny appropriate customer service than a simple $50 store credit would have cost and destroyed our confidence in Menards as an ethical, responsible corporation in the process.

    We have over $1000 in Menard's "11% rebates" to use (which should give an idea of the amount of money we have spent at Menards alone with this project). Then we will certainly be shopping elsewhere. As a side note, how Menards continues the false advertising of its 11% rebate is beyond me. Constantly advertising the price of a product that will NEVER be that price even if you jump through all the hoops to get the rebate should be illegal. A $10 product is NEVER going to cost me $ 8.90. Even after I remember to fill out the rebate slips, trust Menards calculated everything correctly and wait for the rebate credit to arrive, none of which I can track or prove, the $10 item still cost me $10. The BEST I can hope for is to purchase another product $1.10 cheaper, but NEVER the product advertised as 11% off. It's not a discount or a rebate at all and requires future purchases at FULL price to get any benefit at all.

    Placed online order on September 6th. When I ordered it stated September 11th estimated delivery. The 11th came and went. Order tracking said order being processed. 5 days to process an order, really? I contacted customer service and they told me they would follow up. Next day it shows it was staged. Day later in the afternoon it showed in transit to Iron ridge (a 3 hour drive). Later the next day it showed staged at Iron ridge. 3 days later still shows staged at Iron ridge. I had contacted customer service and explained my situation. They told me delivery would be the 17th at latest. As stated earlier, today is the 16th and still shows staged at Iron ridge.     We are long time Menards Shoppers and never had a problem until we made the mistake of trusting Menards with a Whirlpool Refrigerator. During the 4th of July sale in 2024, we saw a Whirlpool refrigerator advertised for SALE PRICE at $ 1,678. Menards claimed the Everyday Low Price is $ 2,599. We bought it on July 6, 2024 thinking we got a good deal. It was delivered on July 19, 2024. However, we found out that no dealer, not even Whirlpool.com was selling that model for $ 2,599 ever! A representative at Whirlpool told me that $ 1,678 was the Suggested Retail Price. Anyway, on August 2, 2024, I was in my Antigo, WI Menards and was shocked to see that the Sale Price was $ 1,598. and that the List Price was the $ 1,678 that we paid for it. Well, I tried 5 times to get Menards to give me store credit for $ 80 and got nowhere. The assistant manager, the store manager refused to help.

    I sent 2 Complaint letters to Menards Guest Services, in which I got 2 form letters from a Manager named Brenda G. in which she ignores and trivializes my complaint. Just a flat denial both times with her making untrue statements. I even wrote a letter to the owner, John Menard, and neither he nor his staff replied. My husband and I spent a lot of money at Menards and I believe we are owed $80 here for leading us to believe we were getting the best price, when we clearly were not. To add insult to injury, a lower level store manager, was extremely rude to me, hanging up on me 3 times, other unprofessional actions.

    In closing I wish to say that Menards does NOT have a District Manager to complain to and You Cannot Speak to Anyone in Guest Services and the Corporate Office. There is only a number with a recording telling you to mail in your complaint and another phone number to Fax in your complaint. In my opinion, Menards Corporate does NOT want to speak to any of its customers, as my own experience surely proves. Good thing there is an Ace Hardware Opening Up Soon. Too bad we do not have Lowe's or Home Depot.

    I would not recommend shopping at Menards! If they make a mistake it is not handled at the store level it is handled at corporate. Corporate does not investigate they blame the customer! Horrible policy!! I purchased 4 rolls of carpet and the salesman gave us the wrong dye. You can't tell you have the wrong dye until you try and install it because they are close. The salesman admitted it was his error and tried to help but you get referred to corporate and they don't investigate they just say you should have checked. Well you can't check because it's in plastic and a similar dye. Bad policy!! I'm not shopping there any more and I'm telling all of my contractors not too as well! I would attach my receipt but I submitted it with the complaint I mailed in....

    I called the west Springfield store before driving 20 miles. I was told yes to my question. She even told me where to go when I got there. When I got to the store I was told no. I talked to the front desk manager and he said I have to go by what I was just told, he couldn’t do anything about it even if I was told yes on the phone. Then he just looked at me. No apologies or getting on the phone to try and get me someone to help. I walked out and it was like no one cared. I never treated my customers like that when I worked.     I bought an electric on demand water heater. Two of them. They failed to tell me that they were commercial grade consumers power. Wanted to put a meter for each one of them on my house and charge me an extra $17,000 to update the transformer for the entire neighborhood. So I took them back to Menards and explain my situation where in Menards informed me they were keeping $800 of the $2,800 I spent there. These were special items regardless of the fact that it was their mistake! The day I get my rebate and spend them there is the last day I ever walk through the door of Menards...

    We ordered an Electric Range and… We ordered an Electric Range and Refrigerator to be delivered between 11-2. So a 3 hr window. After waiting 3.5 hours and wondering how much longer it would be, I called the Waterloo Iowa. The person in charge of delivery drivers got snotty. So after having words with her, I was given the driver's cell phone. When I called him, I was told it would be closer to 4. When I asked him if it was inappropriate for him not to contact his customers on his route to let them know he was being delayed, he claimed it was because his truck broke down. Which of course I believed that to be a lie. I told him I had another call and would have to call him back.

    I called back to the store and asked the manager about his truck being broke down. He had no knowledge of that. I called the driver back and told him that if his truck was broke down, the manager had no information about that so called issue. Instead of acknowledging that he lied, he said “there are plenty of people overseas that would love to have their appliances delivered." I asked him what the hell that even means? I ended up canceling the order and getting my money back. I have since ordered the appliances from Home Depot. It also saved me a 115.00. Menards are held hostage because they contract with individuals for their deliveries. They will allow their drivers to walk over their customers because they just can’t get decent people to do that service. Menards suck **

    Menards is a JOKE. Brought my new 30lb propane tank to get filled. BIG SIGN on the fence, No Cell Phones. Girl filling the tank was on the cell phone the whole time talking to someone who could tell her how to fill the tank! Then she says, "The tank is faulty because it won't fill." I said, "It's brand new." She checks around and says "oops" a valve is wrong. Turns a valve and like magic the tank starts to fill. Then on top of all this, I weight the tank when I get home and it's 52 lbs, a full tank is 55lbs! Short Fill from a Clown (Dangerous) operator. I have the videos but it won't let me upload them.

    We ordered a patio set from Menards.com with free shipping to the Appleton store. The Appleton store was out of stock of the color we wanted but did have another color in stock. However, the item was in stock at Menards distribution center in Eau Claire. The order arrived at Menards and my wife tried another patio chair while at the store and found the one we ordered was not the one she thought it was. The other patio set at Menards in Appleton was more money so we were going to return the set we had not picked up yet and purchase the more expensive set. NOPE! The Appleton store claims the online order from Menards.com was a "special order" and therefore subject to a 25% restocking fee! There was no way we would pay a $225 restocking fee for something that was a stock item on Menards.com.

    Long story short; the Appleton general manager Mr. ** was hard-fast that this was a special order (even though it is not stated as such in store or online) and would not back down from the 25% restocking fee. Mr. ** was very rude trying to prove his point which just dug himself a deeper hole. The patio furniture was made by Backyard Creations which is a registered trademark of Menards so trying to convince me that anything coming from an outside vendor is a special order. I will never, ever, order anything again from Menards.com and will have to think long and hard before stepping foot in that store again. The top two national hardware stores exist in the same city so why would I want to return to Menards again to feel that berated by the GM.

    Very poor products. Chain saw broke down from first use, chain came off easily. Lawn mowers used for one season, stopped working. Poor management, 3 people waiting in line and the rude cashier Closed the register and said "you have to go to another register, we are counting cash here" because a customer was paying a large amount of cash and she had to call a supervisor or manager. One of the garden sections and in the 2 times I stopped there was playing music on her phones speaker and barely want to answer customers questions.

    When I went shopping for this item I had choices. Delivery date was my primary concern. Menards website said the item was on hand but needed to be shipped to store and would arrive at the local store in 5 days. I placed the order on the Menards website on the 25th of the month and the delivery date of the 30th was confirmed. A tracking check I made on the 26th said the item was at in Wisconsin. I received the same update on the 27th, 28th, 29th, 30th. I called the receiving store, but they were unable to provide any information. They recommended placing an inquiry on the website. That inquiry was answered, but it appears that the item did not leave the DC in Wisconsin until after my promised delivery date had already passed. It provided a vague prediction of “the next 2 to 4 days”.

    I finally received an email early on the 4th the following month stating that my delivery date had been changed. (Duh!) The new date was that same day of the notice. I found this unhelpful. I try to assume good intentions but if I assume that the predicted delivery date was not intentionally deceptive, I have to assume that Menards is incompetent. I found the following by doing a Google search for Menards complaint dept. "Is Menards reliable?" - "Menards has an average rating of 2.5 from 4529 reviews. The rating indicates that most customers are generally dissatisfied." I wish I had found this first.

    I ordered a counter top from Menards went through the process going through the drawings and special order process. The counter came in. It was glued in the shop and delivered to the job site only to find out they had shipped the wrong size. I contacted the store they confirmed it was wrong but because I had glue it it couldn't be returned. I elevated the complaint to the manager who also confirmed it was the wrong size counter top. He offered to retrieve it from the job site I called the customer who informed me the dumpster had been picked up.

    Now after I was told it couldn't be returned I was told they would not return the money. I was told if I wanted the elevate this further I needed to submit it through the customer complaint form I filed it out only to find out I had to purchase a pdf app. I called the 888-9-636-2737 customer complaint department only to be redirected to spam sale calls. Menards works very hard to deter any complaints by making it as complicated as possible to file or reach anyone. On the good news my credit card makes it very easy to deny the charge

    I just want to let people know not to get straw netting there for seeding. Worst roll I have ever had and went there cause it was close. It had holes in it like whoever drove the fork lift didn't care they ruined it. Had to pay full price too. I'll go to the local FS store like I have always in the past even if it cost more time and fuel. The headache wasn't worth it.

    Menards displayed one version of crabgrass killer online, once purchased using the app, they shipped me a completely different brand name, version and a product that was 10 years old. Menards customer service refuse to send me the correct product, citing a SKU number. Look at the photos. The maker of this product states its shelf life is 5 years. Disappointed and no longer a customer of Menards. Deceptive and fraudulent business practices is not a good model. I’ve filed formal written complaints to Menards HQ, BBB and my states Attorney General’s, consumer protection office.

    I'm a contractor and was using Menards to buy all the windows and doors for a large project we were working on. Big mistake. One large, expensive window was wrapped so tightly that it bent the entire frame so badly that the metal lock cracked in half. So, I ordered another one. The next one showed up in the wrong color. So, I ordered another one. I picked that one up myself and realized immediately when I arrived to the jobsite that half of it was cracked. I brought it right back to the store and their manager, Brock **, claimed zero responsibility, would not take a return, blamed me for having broken it and tried to convince me that they had done me a huge service for taking the first two returns. This was just one small examples of all the issues we have ordering windows through Menards.... never again!

    Purchased mulch and after first rain, my black mulch was brown. Menards rep was extremely rude and laughed at me when I asked why mulch immediately turned brown. They said, “mulch is mulch and rain is rain. You should read the fine lines on the terms”. Basically, they know they are selling a poor product. I have mulched my yard for 15 years and never had this happen. Plus the rude behavior of the staff was unbelievable.

    Project was scheduled for 2 weeks to complete the job by our contractor who gutted the shower and when he went to install the back wall and the dry wall of the shower was when it was realized the product was defective. The walls had a "bow" in them and the grout lines would never line up. Of course, we included those pictures we sent the letter to the home office. We had to order all 3 pieces of the surround shower product which was Utile by Maxx. So, this pushed back to 6 wks cause of the defective product sold by them. I sent a letter to the so called corporate office and requested a refund of 1350.00 cause we still had to pay our contractor. Of course, they refused with their lame excuses.

    I included emails from the store employees stating that corporate continues to sell this product because it makes money but, that they are very well aware of all the defects. WT heck people? Our contractor has done work in our home for 3 years worth of remodeling, he knows what he is doing and will never give up quality of work. Our contractor has always respected our budgets and timeframe to get jobs done. I asked Menards if they would also respect our budget and that it went over 1350.00, well there ya go folks. They have NO respect. They don't even have phone numbers to call, you can only complain via snail mail.

    Oh, and the store claimed that we agree to the "special order" contract. Um, what contract? We never got one, they could not supply one but, sent one with another customer's information on it to us. LOL - so stupid. This company has no morals, and careless about the consumers. We got a token of a 300.00 Menards gift card LOL. I would rather hand it to a homeless person because at least they sell food. Shameful shameful company. I would rather buy from a company outside the United States of America than ever deal with these thieves again.

    Worst customer service experience ever! I ordered a sofa and love seat online so it was shipped from out of state. One had a hole and one is not working and they are refusing to compensate for the issues. I paid 2400 dollars and I was told the store don’t want to eat the cost to ship a new one so they want me to deliver the sofa to a local Menards (mind you I paid 350 dollars to have it shipped to my home). They want me to exchange for a floor model. So they don’t want to eat the cost for sending broken furniture but it’s ok for me to pay for the broken furniture. This is the South Dakota Pierre store. Also online customer service was not helpful either with the situation. It’s unbelievable I have to waste time and money to return furniture because they don’t want to eat a shipping cost. Worst customer service! Makes me never want to shop at Menards ever again!

    My most recent visit was searching for mortise screws and power equipment. I waited at a station where two employees were locked into conversation with each other and I was ignored. Seeing another worker, I walked towards her. When she saw me, she put a phone to her ear. When I walked away, she put her phone away. Menards is a great place for professionals who know what they want and where it is located. For us DIY homeowners, don’t expect to be valued, serviced or assisted.     I made an online purchase at Menards.com for a purchase from a local store (Mount Pleasant, MI). I verified that the product was actually in stock at the local store before purchase. After paying, and subsequently scheduling a delivery, I was contacted by the local Menards (Mount Pleasant, Mi) and told there was a mistake and they didn't actually have what I ordered. I'll skip the rude and obnoxious behavior of staff, but after cancelling my order, because it wasn't available, I was told that the processing fee, that I was charged at purchasing, will not be refunded. Apparently, this is a charge to restock the items, that they admitted to not having, back into their fake inventory.

    I wonder how many times this scam has swindled money from people that had to cancel orders because the "in stock" label on Menards.com website is false. Would make a great class action lawsuit. Congressional elected officials should really make this scam charge illegal. And I'll spend some time calling attention to this scam. This should be John Menards' legacy.

    Buyers beware on online orders! I ordered 2 things for my dad March 2024. His delivery address is in a different state than mine. I filled in that his address was the shipping address and my address was the billing address. When the items were shipped, they shipped a package to my house and one to his house. Now I have to ship the item that they shipped to me to his address, which is where I asked for everything to be shipped when I placed the order. I emailed Menards and did not receive an answer the first time. I waited a few days and emailed them again. I did receive an answer. She replied and said that the order was split into 2 orders and that it said so when I ordered it. It absolutely did not.

    I order things all the time. That's how I do my shopping. If I order something for someone else, I put their shipping address and I put my billing address. I've never had one problem before. Since it was their mistake, I asked for a shipping label and I would just ship it to my dad from my house. If they would rather, I would ship it back to them. She replied on the email that it was not their fault because it went to 2 different places and that I should have put that it went to his address. I did! That's how I ordered. I placed one order. I paid one time. Then they split the order. It was still charged one fee. I'm dissatisfied with the way that happened and I'm dissatisfied with their reply.

    On March 14, 2024, I entered the Menards store. There is a block of items advertised, as you walk through the turnstiles. Cereal was marked $2.50. I picked up three boxes. Checked out, they rang up at $3.98. I told customer service. The store manager, who I know and don't like (horrible personality - former employees say the same thing) grabbed the receipt, went to the entrance location, called the customer service desk, told them the price is $3.98 regardless of what the sign said. So, they refunded my money.

    This has happened previously with the manager digging in his heels and refusing to be "customer decent." He's not a likable personality, based on what I've been told. This may be why more contractor types have gone back to Home Depot, which I prefer, but Menards is much closer, but, more and more, for my small business, I go to Home Depot - much friendlier employees, etc... Some at Menards, who know me, are friendly, but a lot just ignore you - sometimes have to wait and wait for someone to show up to help, i.e. load a toilet, heavy item. Just more and more leaving Menards, driving the extra miles to Home Depot...

    First, how come no telephone number for customer service? Every inquiry/question has been answered by email and days before I receive an answer. Not good customer service when you want to speak to a person. On 2/20/24, I ordered 2 cabinet drawer pulls from Menards.com at $7.49 each which I had to return. I was informed that they would have to be returned via FedEx and Menards would send me the prepaid label. I asked how much the label would cost, and was told $12.41. Menards can ship to me for $5.15 and then turn around and charge me $12.41 for return shipping for the same exact item! Rip off but that’s more money in their pockets.

    After spending a total of $24.76 (including processing fee of $2.80, shipping $5.15 and sales tax of $1.83), my refund is $2.76. I understand that shipping and processing fees are not refundable. I've asked that the sales tax of $1.83 be refunded, which by law they can not keep the sales tax on a returned item. Thank God I wasn't charged a restocking fee, in which case, I would have owed Menards money for my return, so I should be very happy to be getting something back. Amazon for me all the way! All returns FREE OF CHARGE! I only wish I had looked at Menards reviews before ordering….282 (1 Star) negative reviews compared to 21 (5 Star) positive reviews. I would give NO star review, but that's not an option. So many, many unhappy customers, including me!!!

    We have ordered online with delivery to the store several times over the past year. Each time we have had issues with picking up our order. We received emails saying the orders were ready only to be told they could not find it when we went to get it. The worst time was for a very large drainage culvert. They could not find it and actually suggested that we picked it up and were trying to get an additional one! However, they could not find any paperwork showing it was picked up, after numerous trips back and forth, they found it was there the whole time.

    Last week we picked up an oven. The employee dumped it near our pickup and took off without helping us load it. Today we went to pick up another order and were told it wasn't ready and was still in a delivery truck. I went back in and got a different person to help me. He found it after looking for about 15 minutes and it was sitting on a pallet in the pickup area. We are not ordering online again. We never went to pick anything up until we received a notice that it was ready to be picked up.

    I ordered a Larson storm door from Menards. It was the wrong size. I didn’t even take possession of it. It was in the store and they tried to charge me at $75 restocking fee. I spoke with the person I originally ordered the door from, and he agreed that there was a mistake, and it wasn’t my fault. However, the manager of the department seem to see it differently.     Mailed in 2 receipts in December 2023. One receipt had the attached rebate attachment and one did not. I didn't realize it until I got home. I mailed both of them in the same envelope with an explanation about the one without the attachment. According to their website one voucher check was mailed on 2/6/24. Today it 2/22/24 and received yet (slow mail service is not unusual). I tried to access their "contact" portal but it seems to lock up whenever it hit "submit". This is an insignifigant matter but irritating. The 11% mail in rebate program keeps me shopping at Lowe's and Home Depot. Poor business model as far as I am concerned.

    First, we are blessed that there are no Menard's down South. However, I needed a specific paint and the ONLY can I discovered in the entire USA was at a Menard's in Missouri. This meant if I wanted the paint, I would have to order from them. The cost of the paint was reasonable - the shipping & handling was outrageous - but I needed the paint - so I ordered it. At this point, everything is fine - I know what the cost is. Menard's handed the paint off to their shipper (keyword "THEIR") the day after I order it - shipper of course was FedEx. However, Menard's KNEW the guy was in a FedEx truck with a FedEx uniform on - they also know from their reviews that FedEx has a 3% positive customer rating and a 93% NEGATIVE rating. True to form, FedEx took 8 days to send the paint 140 miles to Memphis - there it sat for another 5 days before being sent South toward me.

    Two days later the incompetent in another FedEx truck left the package at a random house 1/4 of a mile from my house. Fortunately, the shipping label had my phone number on it. So, I ended up waiting 2 weeks and having to go pick the package up myself. Menard's, of course, WILL NOT refund shipping charges even when it is entirely their fault. On the positive side:

    * I got my paint.
    * I made some new friends.
    * I learned never to do business with Menard's unless it was a must have/no choice thing.

    * That Menard's has garbage customer satisfaction, high cost, slow shipping, and (from the reviews) poor quality goods.

    I ordered 4 oscillating fans on online October 16, 2023 and I paid $1319.96. They advertised a rebate amounting to $145.20. They shipped the fans on November 29 2023. The rebate (attached) was shipped to me on December 13, 2023. When I received the rebate it states it can only be redeemed in the store. Nowhere I saw when I placed my order "online", said the rebate was only redeemable in the store. One of the decisions I made selecting Menards for my purchase was the rebate offered. I could have selected many other vendors for my purchase. I found this to be very deceptive and deceitful, not to mention just bad business.

    I live over 1000 miles from the nearest Menards, so the rebate is useless to me. I contacted Menards and the rebate people they sent me an email saying it could only be redeemed in-store. I could see it if I purchased them in-store but I did not. So again the rebate is absolutely worthless to me. I either want them to issue me a rebate check, or I would take in-store credit that can be redeemed online with free shipping.

    I purchased a vanity top from Menards online. I spent a lot of time on the website to decide on my purchase and after I did, went back to the website again to look at it, installation instructions, etc. Upon looking further, I came to question whether the sink and backsplash was included. The sink was in all pictures and backsplash looked to be. Even in the technical specs and installation instructions it was vague but in some of what I read it hinted that they might not be, So I contacted online customer service immediately to confirm. It took a day for them to get back to me, then another day for them to have to contact their product team to see, as they weren’t even sure. They came back finally to say they weren’t included. So I took responsibility that it was my mistake and I would just have to suck it up and buy the sink and backsplash separately.

    The sink was around $90, which was more than what I intended to pay for this project, but I reluctantly was going to do it. Then I looked for the matching backsplash and found that it didn’t exist. There were some universal ones that wouldn’t match and were $200. So all and all I was going to have to pay an additional $300 on this project that was almost twice my original order amount. This I couldn’t stomach so I replied back to customer service that I wanted to cancel the order.

    Again I waited another day for a response that it was too late cause it it had already shipped and if I wanted to return it, it would be a 25% restocking fee which would have been about $100. So even though I had purchased a product with no matching backsplash available which rendered the product unusable unless I was ok with it looking awful, they refused to work with me and maybe waive the restocking fee because I attempted to cancel on time or spend the additional money to get the needed items, which I would have if they were available.

    I went to the Menards store, hoping that they would possibly make an exception because of the unique circumstances, but they said it was policy and their hands were tied. I was told this by 4 people - the customer service rep and manager, the plumbing department manager, and the assistant GM. Are hands ever really tied when trying to provide good customer service and appreciation for loyal customers?

    I have been loyal to Menards for all my home needs for over 20 years. I have spent an obscene amount of money with them because I am often updating and am a frequent DIY person. This is the only time in all the years that I’ve had any type of request to them that was unusual and required an exception to policy that would have gone a long way in continuing my loyalty and praise of the store. This is so disappointing to me that I will no longer be a customer of theirs.

    I have worked in different aspects of customer service my whole life, and can recognize that this is horrible customer service and undeserving of further patronage of their store. I wish I had read these mostly 1 star reviews before, because I would have stopped going here long ago. Awful customer service like this does not deserve loyal business. I will be sure to pass along this experience with everyone I know. If they were smart, they would know that negative experiences go a whole lot further than positive ones.

    I bought a generator as a Christmas gift and waited till after Christmas to assemble it (it's mostly assembled). Put the oil and gas in and I have another generator but this one was to run the whole house. Well something is wrong with it and it is faulty. I was told by the rude store manager I should of read my receipt and only had 7 days to return or exchange. I have never heard of such a horrible return policy and one you wouldn't warn your customers of. The check out person told me about the rebate which I will get rid of as I'll never step foot in a Menards again. Worst customer service EVER. I was then told I could take it and pay the bill to have it looked at and fixed and if they couldn't I would have to bring the bill in and exchange. Laughable. Brand new 1000 machine is junk now. Shop Lowe's or Home Depot or Costco (who let you return years later).

    My truck rental experience was horrible. I rental truck for 70 minutes was charged $18.95 and $6 for mileage=$24.95 plus tax =$1.87. Total $26.82 +$300 deposit =$326.82. I was charged $342 and only getting $287 credit back to credit card which has been 7 days STILL NOT ISSUED BACK! The math doesn't add up and I will NEVER DO BUSINESS THERE AGAIN!

    A specific model of American Standard (AS) toilet with features we needed was sold exclusively through Menard’s, a home improvement business with hundreds of stores throughout the Midwest. We ordered two from the Westover, West Virginia store which was closest to our home but still about 500 miles away because we figured it would be the cheapest shipping. The white toilet was a Menards stock item; the linen color was a special order from AS. When we asked about shipping charges we were given an estimate of about $25 dollars each but we were told that the exact shipping could not be determined until the special order arrived. Looking back, this made no sense since the packages differed in color only, dimensions were otherwise identical.

    The two toilets were shipped out on July 22nd with FedEx but they never arrived. En route, both toilets were so severely damaged they were deemed undeliverable. We and Menards agreed to have the order reshipped. We were told the boxes would be reinforced and that FedEx would give us white glove service, neither of which turned out to be true! After a couple of weeks without having received a tracking number, a call to Menard’s provided one. Upon checking the progress we learned both toilets were due in THAT SAME DAY, September 9th! It was fortunate we were home to receive the first toilet. (The second one was to be a separate delivery.) The FedEx driver remained on hand to see that when the box was opened, that toilet was destroyed! Because the box was opened, the driver would not take the toilet back.

    We immediately called the Westover store to report the damage. All agreed that it was better to cancel the order and, when the second toilet showed up, we were to refuse it. During conversation 1) a refund would be made for both and 2) a return ticket was supposedly generated and we were told to expect a call from FedEx when they were coming to retrieve the broken toilet. The second toilet never showed up. Two days later FedEx tracking indicated the package was undeliverable as it was too damaged.

    Absolutely confounding were the terms Menard’s offered for restitution: 1) another reshipping, 2) a store credit or 3) in order to have a electronic refund we had to SHOW UP AT THE WESTOVER, WEST VIRGINIA store IN PERSON!!! One of the reasons for this was given as “customer security”! All options were totally absurd and many calls to both the West Virginia store and Menards Wisconsin corporate customer service resulted in the same intransigent response! We filed a claim with our credit card company but also the Wisconsin Better Business Bureau and the Wisconsin Attorney General’s office. This took many, many hours on the phone and trading emails plus weeks of sleepless nights.

    We’re not sure which source of pressure got Menard corporate to refund the cost of the toilets to our credit card, but they continued to staunchly refuse to refund the cost of shipping, at one point someone on their side insisted they were not responsible for the condition of the toilets once they left their loading dock and that we should demand a shipping refund from FedEx! The shipping contract is between retailer and shipper not shipper and buyer!

    Pressured by numerous complaints from us, the Wisconsin Attorney General’s office and our credit card company it took from August 18 when we cancelled our order to November 13 for us to receive the total refund, nearly three months all because of Menard’s ridiculous and totally unreasonable insistence we drive 1000 miles round trip to present our credit card to the store from where the toilets were ordered for an electronic refund! By-the-way, FedEx never called us or showed up to retrieve the broken toilet. On September 27th, two-and-a-half weeks after Menard’s supposedly creating the FedEx pick up ticket, we got written permission to dispose of the 102 pound smashed toilet, not exactly a safe or easy thing for us to do.

    Bottom line: caveat emptor; especially if you are making a long distance purchase and expect to be treated honestly and fairly if you need a refund. After the horrific way they treated us hell would freeze over before we would do business with them even if there was a Menard’s around the corner from us. Caveat emptor indeed!

    So I recently had to order 30 pieces of foam board insulation and had to have it delivered cuz I don't own a truck. It was delivered and I seen it on the truck so I know it wasn't the delivery driver at least 6 or 7 sheets were damaged and it wasn't bundled properly. So I sent pictures and emailed the address they gave me for that department and explained my situation and told them that I had no way of bringing the damaged items back to get new ones and asked about maybe a credit and all's the guy messaged me back was you can return them for replacement ones so he pretty much just blew me off .     ****BUYERS BEWARE**** Menards is not a responsible company! My mom purchased a door from them, they provided her with a BAD, DISHONEST AND DISRESPECTFUL contractor who did a horrible job of installing the door...BUT, before the install he had to return to Menards to exchange the door due to his inaccurate measurements. He exchanged the door, was given the difference in cash (without a receipt), a Menards employee marked the exchange receipt as "even exchange," the contractor kept the money...never said a word to my mom (as we later discovered). We went back to the Menards on Hanley, the manager was able to prove, via video footage, that the contractor should not have received my mom's MONEY. Instead of being responsible and giving her a refund and dealing with their contractor, the manager provided her with a form to address this with their head office. So she has...2x without recourse!

    Brenda ** has responded 2x refusing to give her money back claiming she needs to get it back from the contractor...EXTREMELY PETTY ON MENARDS PART! Please do not provide contractors you have not vetted to steal from innocent elderly women. Do not allow your employees to aid in the contractors' theft, without a receipt, this transaction should never have taken place. We're going as far as this needs to go Menards!!! I realize you could care less, based on your BBB ratings, here, Google, and Yelp. As a property investor who regularly shops at Menards***WE WILL NEVER SHOP HERE AGAIN.***

    I purchased some roofing metal from Menards and used my debit card for the purchase. (Funds were removed immediately from my account.) Part of the shipping process requires a pallet for the metal to be secured to during shipment. Menards charges a refundable deposit for this pallet. I installed the metal and returned the pallet to the store. I had to use my debit card for the return to get my deposit back. Now, my bank won't release my refund money until well over 24 hours after my return. They say they have possession of my money (on "paper") but can't release them to me until Menards sends authorization for them to be released.

    So why is Menards keeping my money from being refunded? Who gains the interest on the massive amounts of money being held daily by Menards for all of their customers nationwide? Is it that it's profitable to Menards to make their customers wait for their own money while the interest piles up? How is this legal for Menards to take your money immediately upon a transaction but they hold your money when it's time to go back to the customer? Someone needs to answer questions here! I just want my deposit money back and to use cash from now on at Lowe's or Home Depot! It's a shame too... I used to like Menards when I thought being family owned meant they weren't one of the usual greedy corporate thieves out there!!

    1st understanding order on Menards.com to your desire address, will be charge for Processing Fees & Delivery or Shipping Charge, which are not refundable in any circumstances, even it’s not your fault at all. Ordering special orders deliver to store for free is different, pay only for merchandise only, also can be return for full refund.

    Recently, I ordered 4 different charging cables on Menards.com. They are coming from 4 different stores in different packages on different day & time thru different shippers. 1st package came as damaged. All contents boxes were smashed in package. I took it to nearby store. Manager said he can refund me only merchandise’s cost, not the Processing fees or shipping charge. I said even this is not my fault, so I am entitled to receive full refund. But manager refused. Menard’s do all communication online only, no phone calls. So I left message online. I got same response as manager in store said.

    2nd package came ok. In 3rd package, there was short in quantity. It should be in quantity of 2, also billed for 2, but there was only 1 in package. I left message online. This store is nothing but gimmick. Just realize that ordering on Menards.com, Processing Fees & Shipping Charges are not refundable in any circumstances. Also, there is customer service at all. Only thing you can return to nearby store for merchandise’s cost only. I am about to call my credit card company to dispute the charges with Menards.

    Back at the end of August we placed an order for a pole barn kit which I very specifically told the people I was working with that this was being done solely by my husband and I and made sure we’d have no issues with time constraints when it came to needed returns (crates items came in) or running into issues with stuff missing. Everything was officially either delivered or picked up from the store by the second week of October. Now at the end of November we’re finally finishing up and made it a point to get the wood crates back to the store to get the refund for them.

    When my husband went to return them he was met with rude staff and a general manager named Evan. Evan was unwilling to give us our $180ish refund for the refundable crates because we were 4 DAYS past a return date on November 25th, 2023 that was not mentioned once to us during the process of pick up. Dave at the building counter told my husband and I several times we’d be good to return when able to. Additionally we have ran into several items missing or being wrong within this kit that made us return to the store and get corrected and waste more time. We spent over $22,000 on this whole kit. The fact that Evan was unwilling to issue a measly $180 refund because we were 4 days late which was absolutely never explained to us is absolutely disgusting and sickening. I highly recommend looking elsewhere for your diy barn kits. I can almost guarantee things will be wrong and they won’t work with you. Shame on Menards and the General Manager Evan.

    I wish there was no star option because that's what they deserve. I wanted to write about their 11% rebate and their store staff. I always shop at Lockport, IL store near my town. Extremely rude customer service people. Absolutely avoid helping you. God forbid if you have a question, then you in for a treat. I did updating of my kitchen and this is the first time I bought my supplies from this God forsaken store. After buying everything I sent them their so called rebate department all the info they needed with my receipt and rebate from. IT HAS BEEN OVER TWO YEARS... I am still waiting for my checks. I recently sent them few more rebates and those are been few months already. What can I say? I have bad habits to test my luck again.

    Upon asking in store I was very rudely told to contact rebates department via email because they have nothing to do with rebates. It's like those guys at customer service are giving me a favor by being there and earning their paycheck by my business. But no I can't ask for any help from them. Their attitudes are like why are you even talking to them. Extremely rude customer service and absolutely utterly ridiculous 11% rebates sale. Absolutely scam just to get customers in and get their business. But when it comes to rebates they will make you wait forever and hope that you will just forget about it.     I called before I drove to Menards to purchase some wire. Lady stated they had 155 feet of wire. When I drove there 20 minutes away, I went to the electrical department to get a pick ticket for 105 feet of the wire. When I went back through security in the yard, they found out there was only 63 feet left. I sat and waited while Menards employees searched for the wire. I was told the count was off from what was in their system by 60 feet. General Manager apologized and the inconvenience was at my cost. I wasted a whole hour and gas because they stated to have the wire on hand when physically they didn't. The Manager could have made it right with customer satisfaction but chose the "We don't care road." Very disappointed in Menards. They do not care about customer satisfaction or service at all. This Menards is in Dundas, MN.

    Prefinished MasterCraft interior door units. Five of six completed started peeling off and failing on all surfaces of the door frames and jambs. Doors are made in China and Mexico and assembly in WI with zero quality control. Even only installed for 6 weeks... Professionally installed by a carpenter...They still insisted that the same limited warranty that covers someone who had them for 6 years applies and will not pay for anything related to having to rip them out, get rid of the old ones, and have someone put new ones in. They don't give a ** if it's been 6 weeks or that 85% of the purchased products failed.

    The one door unit out of six which has not failed...We had to replace that one before it was installed for same reason. They will not admit manufacturer failure, Poor inspections or bad quality. They just rehash the same statement in email over and over and over again and that's quoting the limited warranty. Zero empathy and zero care for the customer. I wonder how they sleep at night knowing that they absolutely failed yet another person. My assumption is that they get bonused for it. I guess if I had let them sit in my garage for 6 weeks they would have all failed and then they would have charged me a 25% restocking fee.

    Menards owns Mastercraft and the customer service people sit down the row from the other customer service people at the same address in eau Claire, Wisconsin. They try to make you feel better saying they will mail a complaint to the manufacturer, not even giving a ** that you can see that it's going to and coming from the same address. It's like they're laughing when they stick them in the mail. Don't be fooled into thinking that you are buying a quality product. It is minimally acceptable by any standards and stating that they take pride in their craftsmanship is a huge fallacy. No one takes pride in something that they will not stand behind. My advice is to not ever consider Mastercraft products from Menards in any home remodeling project and to steer far far away. I have never been treated so poorly and lied to so much.

    They are so bad with timely deliveries and no communication. They react to everything, and I had to wait three weeks for an order that was supposed to take less than a week because the delivery manager didn't plan effectively for an order, he knew was on its way in. When it arrived, he already booked his drive and was completely inflexible to my needs, and I absolutely needed this as soon as possible. This is the first time I used Menards because of fellow colleagues that advised me to buy somewhere else, and so I gave them the benefit of the doubt only to prove them right. Never again.     I went to Menard, Johnson Creek, WI last Friday. I was in need of 8 bags of concrete. I am a female all of 113 lbs and knew I would not be able to load it. I called in advance to make sure there would be someone who could. Once I arrived I spoke to a very pleasant young lady at the garden desk. I told her what I needed and she call over a young man by the name of Jeff. I had seen him running across the parking lot with carts when I drove up. He was busy doing another task and came immediately to help me. He said he would get the person who was supposed to help me load the concrete onto the cart. That person was nowhere to be found. Jeff loaded the concrete, brought it to the desk, then my vehicle. All while seeming happy to do it. Rarely do I have this type of excellent service. Thank you Jeff the loader!

    I ordered 6 jars of old world quality foods traditional German salad. 6 jars was their minimum for shipping. There was a 12 dollar shipping charge.     I purchased composite decking boards online to be delivered. As I was pulling them off of the skid and installing them, I found some damaged boards. Due to time constraints for the project, I proceeded to install the boards that were salvageable. All in all, I received about 30 percent of boards that were damaged to some degree. I contacted the store and requested a representative to come out and look at the product that they delivered. They refused and offered a 10 percent discount, which I have yet to receive. I contacted corporate to make the same request and was instructed that I could return the boards for a refund. Well, I had them delivered due to the fact that I don't have the means to pick them up myself. Very disappointed in their customer service and merchandise quality.     I ordered a Waterpik PowerPulse Massage® Magnetic 7-Spray Setting Chrome Handheld Showerhead. It was delivered on time and the Waterpik is a great product. What I finally received in the mail as a rebate was a $9.90 credit for a future purchase. Menards online is big disappointment and I don't plan to ever order from them again. The rebate process is just so yesterday - complete forms, make copies, pay for the postage, and then wait for a long delay. Only later did I discover that the rebate is only a credit for a future purchase. It seems that they are trying to discourage people from requesting the rebate by making the process so difficult, then not even returning a check which is what most people would define as a rebate. Their small print does state that their definition of a rebate is a credit, but I was fooled in assuming a Minard's rebate is an actual cash rebate. It really galls me to be tricked by a business.

    Never in my life have I been to a store where you can spend over 10000 dollars and still be treated like a thief but that happened here at Menards in Moline Illinois. The general manager chased me outside. He accused a lot but never could back up anything with actual facts or proof. He then accused my children of stealing as well. Took pictures of me and my car and acted like a lunatic but this wasn’t the first time. He did the same thing about three months ago to my fiancé. Even yelled, "** is bad" in front of God and everyone. I have reported and reported this guy and I have employees to even back up what I am saying and nothing has been done. We have hired an attorney after today's event and will be suing for not only humiliating myself in public but my fiancé as well.

    We have proof of all of our purchases. We have about $10,000 worth of receipts. Just take caution when shopping there because nobody knows what you’ll be accused of. We were accused of being on **, stealing a Christmas tree that we have a receipt for and some sort of knife or something they said. I have no idea but beyond disrespectful. I am beyond appalled. I have never been anywhere where a general manager can act that way and I am actually a manager of my own company. However that would not be allowed there. So Menards be ready.

    DO NOT PURCHASE FLOORING FROM MENARDS. It’s a trap. We purchased floating flooring from them and in less than 30 days the flooring started to break apart in the tongue and grooves and break apart. Their scam is that you have to send a claim to them by mail, there is no customer service numbers to contact them of any kind. They will mail you a letter saying they involve their supplier to handle the issues. The supplier sends out an inspection company that is hire by them and is in their back pocket to provide an inspection that favors the supplier.

    Next your claim is denied and you are stuck with an expensive bunch of **materials that you can not do anything with. I will still contact my attorney for advice in this matter, but then I see it I’m am totally ** by Menards and I will never see any satisfaction for being a loyal customer to them. The inspector that came to my home behaved in a matter that made me feel that he was as serving the retailer well, I even asked him if the inspection he does is only to be benefit Menards, he didn’t like that question and answered NO. If you decide to purchase from them you will get every form of consumer punishment you deserve. Good luck!!!

    Ordered ceiling box Oct 25th 2022. Received damaged unusable product and sent it back for a full refund. They signed for the returned Item and claimed they refunded to my credit card. 7 days later (keep in mind it's now Dec 5th) I had to have my credit card issuer credit my account and they went after Menards for their money.     First and only purchase. 2 years ago we bought siding for a house. It's been in storage. Spent over 2400, didn't get our 11% rebate. Traverse City manager blew it off.     I bought a 20x22 garage with delivery. About $13,000. Siding for garage was missing the 4 corners , they took a month to replace. When it came to putting the garage door in, the garage door people noticed Menards sent me a door that was 12 years old from 2010. It was bent, banged, and couldn’t fit together correctly. Now I need to file a claim with them. I had to return a bunch of wood that was also twisted and bent. I couldn’t get $ back only in-store credit. Total scam! Total headache!

    I purchased the Poulan PL3816 chainsaw to cut down some trees and limbs after a storm. After having this chainsaw for 10 days and using it a few times, it behind to overheat and smoke causing it to die within minutes of trying to start it. I used the proper gas mix, bar oil etc. Don't waste your money here. I tried to returning or exchanging this chainsaw at Menards (on Illinois RD in Fort Wayne IN, where I purchased it) but Menards would not allow me to exchange or return it since I used it and I did not return within 7 days of purchase. This is the last time I shop at Menards. Their product lines are poor quality and don't last. Probably why they only stand behind their products for 7 days.

    Menards does not stand behind their products or their warranties, do not buy from them. Purchased $4300 in flooring from menards, that had a warranty. It lasted 4 months, menards sent an inspector and I was told it was installed wrong. I had someone install it who knows how to do flooring. Menards does not stand behind their products or their warranty. Now I have ruined flooring in half my house and 44 boxes unopened that I don't want to use, because it's junk. Do not trust Menards or their warranties.

    I purchased plumbing products from Menards for some remodeling of my restaurant. I am a General Contractor with several hundred dollars in purchases from Menards over the years. I had leftover components from the job so gathered them up and returned them the the Golden Valley MN Store. It was not a large return. Just a few items such as PVC Pipe fittings, boiler valves, Bath vent etc. My corporate card was lost a few months back so a new one was issued. This is where the system breaks down. Without your card they nor you can find your purchase. This puts you in a bucket of lowest sale price in the last 90 days. Ok, sure give me the sale price I understand. After the return was issued the customer service person gave me my paper check, yes so Corporate hopes I run it thru the washing machine and poof my cash is gone forever. They then threw away my return receipt so I could not review the prices of items returned.

    I demanded the slip be given to me so she did. I carried on and went to pick my order for the day. In the plumbing department I started noticing numbers that were far from my return values. In fact some items were 75% more than I was given. $14 boiler valve returned value 4.89. PVC fittings at 4.36 were returned at .37 each. Infuriated I returned to customer service for an explanation. Manager gets involved and says blah blah lowest sale price in the last 90 days. I said, "You can't keep the products in stock but you are having sales of 75% off!" Manager then said, "Well Corporate makes up prices" and there is nothing they can do since they have no data to go on. So Corporate is scamming hard working Americans out of their money.

    I told them to get all of my stuff and give it back. It was a 20 minute circus act but I did get my belongings back. I am going to find a good class action lawyer and see what can be done. Menard family are the most corrupt crooked family in America if you ask me. So crooked they lost a lawsuit against Donald Trump. They lost me as a customer today.

    Besides the problems with canceled deliveries and waiting on a truck that never shows, the Ultra Deck composite decking they offer is useless. They claim the hidden fasteners will leave a 3/8 inch gap between boards. Because of variances in manufacturing the gap may vary from 3/8 to 3/4. Everything about this product is cheap and poorly made.

    Menards.com has given me the worse online shopping experience I have ever had. I ordered $2500.00 worth of items from them 36 days ago and never received the items. It is impossible to reach a person at Menards.com and actually talk to them. Customer service is awful. When I filed for a refund, I only got a partial refund and cannot get a hold of anyone to look into this. I spent hours on the phone with the shipper and vendor and this should have all been taken care of by Menards.com. Worse company ever to order from, Beware and do your homework. There ratings are 1 out of 5 stars. Wish I would have looked into this before ordering.

    Bought $4,000+ of kitchen cabinets & a granite countertop. Delivery was a fiasco - way outside the promised timeframe, and at the last minute I’m told they can’t carry in the countertop for liability reasons (I’d paid an extra delivery charge for that very service). After wrestling the countertop off its pallet the delivery guy offers to return the pallet to Menard’s & gives me a receipt for me to collect the $20 deposit. First wall cabinet comes with a broken foot.

    The 2nd disintegrated coming out of its carton: they dry-fit the thing without gluing it. Oh, and when I tried to redeem the pallet receipt the “service” gal treats me like a criminal like I’m trying to scam twenty bucks off John Menard… and although I followed the procedure I was told, she goes on to scold me to “show proof” next time. Bottomline: poor quality and none of the various departments are on the same page.

    I've had issues with Menards 3 out of the 4 times I've shopped there. First time ever shopping with the company, I ordered a MasterCraft exterior door online through Menards. I received the door and had it installed. My boyfriend and I went on a weekend float trip which it had stormed one night. When we came home the next day, my brand new floors were soaked with water that had came through the window on the door. The process to replace the door alone was annoying and difficult. They only sent a window replacement and didn't cover charges for installation, the water damage, and flooring that had to be replaced. When the replacement was received, it had different sealing material and was still very poorly manufactured. Since this was already a frustrating process, I had the installer seal around the window himself.

    The second time shopping at Menards I purchased a glass globe light fixture, which had to be returned because the barcode removed the frost. For the door and another trip I had made to Menards, I sent in rebate forms and receipts. I followed directions and sent in what I was given for the rebates. I was never reached out to by the company and so when I followed up I was informed that I didn't have the proper paperwork. Seeing that this has been months ago, the email was automatically deleted and there's no way to retrieve the rebate receipts again. Therefore, I am not getting any money back like they so loudly advertise for this company.

    I've had others tell me the rebate process is complicated. I see this as a way for the company to avoid giving customers the money back that they owe them. I've sent off for Lowe's rebates multiple times and had no issues, the process was so easy, and I actually got my money! I have filed a complaint directly to Menards. We'll see what comes of that. I am making my frustrations known here and will be reviewing the company elsewhere. I will not be shopping there anymore unless this is made right. Seeing how everything else has went with them, I don't see them doing much, if anything. I do not recommend shopping with this company to anyone.

    Purchased a brand new front door for $3500. It delivered to our home and our installer installed it. 2 issues: a noticeable round indentation on door when sunlight hits it and trim around one of the satellite windows does not fit but bulges out. Unacceptable. Menards will not cover costs to fix our issue. We can get a new door or the parts to fix but who is paying for the labor??? We have already paid for 1 install. This issue started with a defective product. MENARDS needs to step up and fix the issue by covering the few hundred dollars it will take to make it right.

    Menards had a customer service guy named Ray from corporate office that responded to one of our communications. The only way Menards deals with its valued customers is by email only - so ridiculous!!!! Ray is sassy, unprofessional and not a good representative of Menards! They should be ashamed to have Ray working there!!! Menards will be losing our business and so much more over a few hundred dollars, the amount on labor to fix our door issue. They are not a good company and no one should have to deal with a corporate company's lack of professionalism. Unbelievable!!!

    My 80 year old mother purchased a refrigerator from this company and when she turned it on it did not work!! I called the store and they were rude, disrespectful and nasty. They told me she would have to return and they could replace it 10 days later!!! Did I mention she is 80 years old.. We return it on our own and went to Lowe’s!!     If I could give this store negative stars I would. I designed a bathroom around what this store had to offer. I ordered a specialty counter top for my vanity and it took longer for it to arrive than the other pieces. I asked for the store to hold my order until it was all together to deliver. They have made 2 separate deliveries and now are holding my counter top unless I pick it up or pay yet another delivery fee. Meanwhile before this even happened I was told that I hadn't ordered it and was called several times while at work out of town with their sales people trying to bully me into buying another one over the phone, after they had my money for the first. Do yourself a favor and just go to Lowe's.

    On Dec 6th, 2021 I went to Menards in Oakdale, Mn store to look for wood chrome moldings, I made it to the cashier intact. When the cashier saw me arriving she already started to give me an ugly look and giving a bad attitude. She held her scanner and acted like me gently moving my piece of wood was too slow and not good enough for her to scan it. The look on her face was definitely showing how lazy and loosie her attitude was.

    When one of my wood piece felt to hiding the ground instead of helping me she acted like nothing bad had happened and immediately said "it wasn't me" with her mocking voice. I politely asked her for a discount and she yield out loud: "she wants a discount." Everyone in the store by the checkout lines looked at me. How embarrassing was it to add the manager's bad attitude and denial on discount not permitted even louder. Now making the story short he sent me out with a " Have a nice day and a better attitude". I regretted instantly walking in Menards and felt humiliated in front of 40+ customers. I should have bought what I needed from Home depot. At least I get help from kind and honest people there who care about their customers. I don't know if that helps but I understood the say: "you get what you paid for" very well today.

    About the first of September, I ordered a 16x24 garage kit from the NW Menards in Wichita, KS. From the day of delivery the nightmare began. We began to realize that some of what was on the order weren't delivered and some items delivered weren't on the order! After much frustration, I asked for someone to come out and look the situation over and bring what was supposed to be delivered, and take back the stuff that wasn't on the order! Of course, they couldn't do that!!

    The first real major problem was that we were short two rafters. When I called I was told it would take 4-6 weeks to have them ready!! We ended up making our own. Later on, when it was time to place them and deck the roof, we discovered that they were made with the worst lumber they could find on location, I guess. They were extremely crooked and it was a battle to get them lined up correctly. I could go on and on about the extra trips, the worthless apologies, and an attitude that we just don't freaking care!!

    Today, I just returned over $1,300 dollars of unused material. Some items were like the gutters. I decided to go seamless. I also returned the two walk-in doors I had ordered. I had been told by two other contractors that they have had nothing but trouble with doors from Menards. Once the assistant manager started going through all the junk, he began to realize the true extent of the screwups! The doors I just mentioned were supposed to be identical. It turned out that one of them was a special order door. I can't really say what I was supposed to get, but they were to be the same door. There was a $70 difference between the two. At least the manager accepted the return on the special order one.

    Then, they delivered 1x6 metal facia trim, but the kit called for 2x6. There were supposed to be only 9 of them, but when they counted what I brought back there were 12! There were other smaller discrepancies, but this assistant manager was beginning to get the picture that I had a legitimate beef with Menards. But each time he started to utter an apology I verbally slapped him down by saying your apologies just don't cut it!! As I was waiting through the whole process, people were walking by and seeing all that was going on. I kept telling people that they should never buy a building kit from Menards!!! I will never enter another Menards the rest of my life!!

    So store did not have fans needed. Sales said use online ordering. Found four hunter fans ordered. Received them but not the same as pictured. Called hunter they could not help but rep said you could order direct. Took fans back to Menards since they screwed up the order. Got nailed with a restocking fee for so called special order fans. Guess you have to dig through specifications to see if they are not normal stock. So instead of seating special order customer has to go digging and finding that term. So in retrospect if you need hunter fans just order directly from them. They even gave discounts. Menards honestly should be embarrassed with their website. Will never use them for anything.

    I ordered (3) Hunter ceiling fans online on 08/21/2021. I received the fans 10/15/2021 after I had ordered them elsewhere for a 20% less cost and delivered before Menards could get them to me. I returned the fans to Menards the same day I got them and they had an extreme difficulty finding them on the return slip. Then, they claimed this was a "special" order? and said there was a 25% restocking fee! What? These are Hunter fans, sold in the store, but they were out of them! Ordering them online becomes a special order, un-be-knowing to the person ordering them, and what a surprise when you try to return them. Cripes, what a beating! I'm certainly not ordering "ANYTHING" from Menards online again...Real disgusted with this.

    The store has amg that lie through their nose. Bought a washer/dryer combo. It does not work properly and is also too small. I told them this right after it was delivered. They sent me from one person to another to get this returned until the time limit was up. Mike the amg called me a liar on a recorded line. I spent 30+ k with them this year but they are not getting one more business transaction from me. Their rebate system is a scam as we’ll never received my full 11% back but what do you expect from a company whose owner is backer of Trump two criminals.

    It matters not what item I search Menards online to purchase. If the Menards website says there are 14 of whatever in stock at your preferred Menards store, when you get there you can count on there being NONE in stock! This happens every single time I use Menards website! EVERY SINGLE TIME! I'm so done with Menards! Home Depot and Lowe's both have the common sense to state the aisle and bin number where you can find the item. Menards chooses instead to rearrange their entire store every few years in order to confuse and stymie every attempt to find not only the item you're looking for, but the very department itself! From now on, I'll drive the extra 3 miles to Home Depot or I'll drive the extra 13 miles to Lowe's. Buh bye, Menards... rest in peace.

I cancelled an order because the ship date was pushed back over 2 weeks. They issued a refund minus the rebate amount. The rebate has not been issued and clearly states that it will be reduced by the amount of any returns. They cheated me out of $106.

    I wish there is a zero star for this rating. Very bad service. People in the store bring you incorrect items, which you get stuck with. I bought a bathtub and wall set the other day. The employee brought me the wrong items and wrong size, different from the displayed ones I asked for. This cost me a lot renting a truck to return the bulky wall set to the store.

    Further, we noticed that the bathtub is not the right model I chose after it has been installed. You typically don't expect that the employee is careless that he brings you a different item. When I contacted customer service complaining about this poor service, they told me it's my responsibility to check the items at the store and make sure they are the correct ones you asked for. Instead of taking the responsibility, they asked me next time to stand in the middle of the store opening the huge bathtub and wall set boxes and getting items out of the boxes piece by piece to make sure that the careless employee got me the right stuff I asked for. That is it. NO MORE MENARDS. Competitive stores have much better customer service from my previous experience and BTW they also give you 11% rebate if you ask for it.

When you check your rebate it says they mail already with numbers. Since I was buying in Menard and fill-up the form and mail to them, I have not received any rebate check.     June 2021. I bought a item online. The box was torn open and taped with clear box tape the entire box. When I opened it up the battery tender which I bought never did charge. They knew it was damaged goods yet they still send the product. Beware when buying online. I read their policy. They said you may not get your refund back by returning items to the store in person.

    Purchased some rock tile they advertised in the store at the Elkhart Menards. Of course only one box in store. So they ordered it in and told me would arrive on June 8th.     Do not purchase the extended protection plans, they are a total scam. They cover nothing. I specifically asked when purchasing the two chairs about damage caused by dogs and was assured that the chairs would be replaced. When I tried to file a claim, I was told that damage by dogs is not covered, only stains. If the chair is stained by the animal, they will send you a cleaning product. The chairs are squeaking terribly when they rock. That is also not covered. In fact, nothing is covered. I was purposefully lied to in order to get me to purchase the two plans for $300. Never again. Lowes and Home Depot here I come!

    I was excited to see a new hardware store competing with Home Depot and Lowe's when it arrived in our area. I have now done business with this location and am disgusted by the true lack of service I receive when doing business with this location. Example: Online order for 6 x 12 x 8 pressure-treated lumber. The lumber was terrible quality, and because I wasn't taking that item, your staff thought it was appropriate to tell me to take my car already loaded with lumber to customer service on the other side of the store to correct the order. Really? No, that is the staff's job to do.

    Example: I purchased an exterior 1/2 light door with window that opens that should have a screen in it. Picked up on 6/6/21, installed on 6/15/21. Discovered after the installation by my contractor that the screen is missing. So, how does Menards staff handle this? They tell me to run after the manufacturer to get the screen that should have been with the door to begin with. No, that is the staff's job. Not the customer who spent over $360 for that door. This company's service is infinitely worse than Home Depot. They should be ashamed of this store.

    I placed an order on for a gift card for my father's birthday. I contacted customer service within 7 minutes of placing this order, because I missed a number off on the address and Menards changed the city without my knowledge. I asked them if they could correct the address.. I contacted 30 minutes later stating they would attempt to cancel, but could not change the address. I contacted them back 2 hours later and no response. A hour later, I contacted the main office, only to be told they will look into it. I signed back into my account and it showed shipped. 10 hours later, I have contacted the company 3 times, no response, no actions. I am out $50. However they are out a loyal customer. Lowe's will now have all my business.

    Menards offers an 11% rebate on its ONLINE site that in the fine print turns out only able to be used IN-STORE. How stupid! So I'm supposed to drive from Texas to Missouri to use an 11% discount. So what they are doing is using a rebate as a tool to gain sales knowing that the vast majority of their nationwide customers will never be able to use their rebate. Blatantly dishonest. I reached out to Menards to ask if they would honor the rebate for a new order of $200 but they declined to do the right thing. So they will not be getting my business.

    This is by far the worst company I've ever purchased anything from and I've purchased from China and third world countries. Story goes as follows: I bought some items from them, I received a tracking number and a few days later my items showed up. I figured okay, I can buy more items from them so I did. Received my tracking number xyz for my new purchased and it came a few days later but it was missing 2 rollers. No big deal right? Wrong. I sent them an email on 04/11 because of course they don't have a phone number you can call (should've been my first sign). I received a reply on the 15th that they were going to resend me the whole track system again and that tracking number will soon follow. I immediately replied and told them that there was no need to send the whole order, just send me the missing rollers.

    On the 20th I received my tracking number but guess what? It was again xyz (second sign) but I didn't noticed that trick until 05/05 so I again emailed them to let them know that I hadn't received my missing pieces and that they have me the same tracking number once again. On the 6th they replied with the "correct shipping information" but again it was xyz (third sign) but I once again trusted that it was a new number... wrong... 05/20 I emailed them once I realized that I still don't have my missing pieces and that they again gave tracking number xyz. This time I wasn't as nice but they were quick to reply so I was happy about the quick reply only to find out that the tracking number was once again... you guessed it, xyz.

    I brought an item to return for a credit check that I bought and paid for and they took the item and said it was a high theft item and since I didn't have a receipt they were going to keep it unless I could come up with the receipt. This is nothing short of criminal theft by taking an item that I bought in the store out of my hands. I was able to prove I bought it and received my credit slip with much to do.     Placed a good size online order and paid a premium for delivery. Delivery date was changed three times. Dates came and went with no communications from store. Each time I called there was no accountability for why delivery didn't happen and I was placed back on the end of the line. Finally had to cancelled order. EXTREMELY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE.     I'm reviewing Menard's online ordering. We ordered a part about a month ago and the website indicated the part was in stock and would be shipped soon. After a few days we received an email stating the part was backordered and we'd receive shipping information as soon as the part shipped. Several weeks later, with no indication the part was being shipped we purchased a replacement at another store. The email arrived a day later saying the part was being shipped. Now, when trying to return the part. We’ve been notified by Customer Service "Please note that a 25% restocking fee and a return shipping charge of 11.53 are applied to returns." No other online retailer would even think about changing 25% to return merchandise. This is the first I've dealt with Menards and will be the last. Menards seems to be the Frontier Airlines of home improvement stores.

    I went to Menards Saturday morning April 3 2021 at about 9:30 AM in the morning to purchase lumber to build a garden box everything was fine until I was getting ready to leave I had the lumber in my car and the attendant that was opening and closing the gate Said and I quote did you steal anything intentionally or accidentally?

    I found that to be extremely insulting to be accused of stealing when I went there to buy something with my hard earned money. I do not appreciate being asked a question like that when I am not a thief, never have been and never will be! Most likely the next time I buy lumber will be at Home Depot or some other big box where I'm not accused of stealing For absolutely no reason other than simply going there and paying for something. This is not a good business practice and certainly not the best way to treat your paying customers Menards.

    Purchased vinyl fencing from Menards and were told the store had 60 panels in stock. We bought 20 panels and paid over $2000 only to find out, once we went around to pick it up in the lumber yard, they DID NOT have the fencing. We had to go back inside and get refunded only to be told the refund would take 3-5 business days to be put back on our credit card!! All around awful experience. Not all people have that kind of money sitting around and not one employee was concerned with the issue. Menards needs to get a grip on the inventory and get people to actually help in the lumber yard. Will be sticking with Lowe's from now on.

    Ordered something by mistake. I immediately wanted to reach out to them, but they list no customer service number. I submitted a request through their customer service email. I subsequently reached out several times for 3 days while the order processed to get someone to change, and then eventually cancel the order. NOTHING! Now the order has shipped and I'm going to have to deal with the return provided they will even get back to me on that! WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER and I buy A LOT of stuff online.

    I called Menards in Mt. Pleasant MI to double check. At first I was given incorrect information, the guy answering the phone just made up an answer. I asked if there was a charge for curbside pick up if a person was disabled and couldn't wear a mask. First he said that they no longer have curbside pick up, you have to go around back to the lumber yard, then he said, "yes, there is a small fee". So that's when I asked him to check with his manager. THERE IS A $1.40 PER ITEM FEE to pick up merchandise if you are disabled and cannot wear a mask! The orders plainly state that you have to wear a mask unless you are medically unable to. Also, when you check out, if your mask moves ever so slightly, the cashiers stop what they are doing and ask you to adjust it, they refuse to continue unless it's perfect!

    Wow! I'm surprised they let employees stand around but when you ask for help to load big heavy loads, no one shows up! Literally 4-5 men around but this isn't their job! The liability is huge I would guess as every customer has to go up on high shelves, etc. and no one wants to help you. And they won't secure anything for you! We literally had to honk and honk to get 1 person to help us! Wow! An experience I will never want to repeat! Service man wasn't too helpful, almost hostile my first visit but when I came back with a man, he was much nicer. Not sure what that was about.

    I will Never buy anything counting on getting a rebate here. If they can send me the rebate receipt via e-mail, then why can't I submit the rebate via email. Simple right? They do Not Want it to be simple in hopes people will not submit for the rebate. There is an expiration for submitting for the rebate as well so if you do not print it off and mail it within a month do not plan on getting a rebate. I have Several rebates that are expired because my printer was broke. Have spent thousands of dollars there. Kitchen cabinets, carpeting, numerous building supplies, Paint, etc. I have submitted receipts for which I never received the rebate.

    My printer broke so I cannot print off the Email they sent to submit for the rebate. It is required to print off the email and then mail it in. The Only reason I Ever shop here is if I cannot get it elsewhere. The whole rebate thing is a scam. Make sure you have a printer and time to print off every rebate and go to the post office to mail it. Even then you might not ever get it.

    I purchased a Backyards Creation fire table last year that has a top that has now disintegrated. The rock style top has began flaking off rendering the product unusable. If children and pets were to ingest this flaking material it may cause choking. After reaching out to the store I was told that there was a one-year warranty. As this was the floor model with only a price tag on the top, I was not made aware of this. The manager even recommended "painting" it. This is not my first fire table like this. Our other one with a similar style from another vendor has been perfect for years. While I am horrified at their service, I am more concerned about the safety issues this can cause. My hope is that bringing attention to this will cause Menards and their vendors to change the product to become safer. It only takes one incident to become a tragic accident.

    We ordered and paid $11,000-$12,000 upfront to order all plywood Medallion cabinets through Menards on Nov. 26. The invoice gives an expected delivery date of Jan. 6. While we understand COVID makes operating a business challenging these days, in no way were we prepared to wait an extra two months. Our scheduled delivery is March 8. Things happen, we get that. But what didn't happen was neither Menards nor Medallion did anything to see how we were doing or to warn us the order was running significantly late. Worst is the Menards salesperson who in response to our question about where's our cabinets in late February threw up his hands in defense, basically saying once they take our money (payment was made to Menards) they have nothing to do with the order and we the customer must word directly with the manufacturer. So disappointing. The manager apologized yet the issue is the same.

    Menards sells cabinets but does not provide continued customer service. One cabinet arrived by surprise a few days ago. After days of waiting, we finally received a call Feb. 26 to schedule the March 8 delivery. I was pushed into making some important decisions on the cabinet purchase which meant redoing the order later in the day. I think the quality will be good based on the display and that we paid extra for all plywood, yet I can't recommend people go there. Small cabinet stores will provide better followup on orders, and when it comes to kitchens and baths, it's so important to communicate so people aren't inconvenienced longer than necessary. I feel there was no concern nor sympathy that our order is arriving TWO MONTHS LATE.

    I bought a forced air wood furnace in feb and had it installed late October and after the second day of using it, it started overheating and I contacted the manufacturer to try to help me. In after five months of a malfunctioning woodstove and all the emails and pictures related to my issue they finally decide to give me my money back. But they did not give me my money back. They give me an in-store credit that I cannot use to purchase new stove. The second time I got crappy help from this store. Don’t even get me started on the rebates. I feel this company doesn’t care about helping its customers.

    I ordered this propane heater. I received the heater with all components just thrown into a box and shipped. It was obvious that the heater was used and had been returned to Menards. I contacted the online customer service and was told to take pictures of all of this. I am a senior citizen and do not have the capability to provide them with the pictures they wanted. They informed me that since I could not take the pictures they wanted there was nothing they would do about me receiving a used heater. If this is the way Menards treats their customers this will be my last purchase.

    I was a loyal customer for many years. Even though their prices and selections aren't always the best, the rebate program helped balance it out with other competitors. However, Menards has owed me more that $300 in promised rebates for more than two months. They won't even acknowledge my emails or customer service inquiries. They expect me to write a letter and send (again) copies of receipts and certificates, then wait another 8-10 weeks. It is an unnecessary hassle, making it seem they are intentionally avoiding paying me. Don't do it! Go to Home Depot or Lowes where they communicate with their customers and honor their commitments!

    Menards shipped these Christmas decoration pieces with no outside packaging to protect the manufactures display box and they looked like they were pulled from a trash bin. Ordered two Christmas village decoration items for Christmas gifts for a relative that collects them. They are not cheap and as stated the relative collects them so they put them back into the boxes after displaying them.

    Both items were shipped only in the thin manufactures packaging they use to display them on the shelf in stores. Both display packages were beaten up badly and the shipping labels and tracking stickers were stuck to the packaging. These were ordered at the holidays as gifts but no way I can wrap them and give them now. Menards' customer service only asked if the items inside the packaging was damaged. I told them I did not know because they were gifts so I had not taken the items out because it’s sometimes very hard for me to get them back into the styrofoam. With that they told me they would not do anything.

    Total incompetence. Ordered a vanity and card was charged. Told take 2 weeks. Then 2 days was added. Then a week was added. Then was told that was a tentative date. Was lied to just to make a sale then was told I could get it sooner if I'd pay 100$ and have it shipped from another store. Was going buy a showerhead for 100$. 89$ with rebate. Went to Home Depot and it was 85 regular price. Don't see how they stay in business the way they treat their customers.

    We recently attempted to purchase a Maytag dishwasher using Menards' online site. We were initially led to believe that the item would be delivered and installed about a month after purchase. While we considered this a long wait, we were willing to do so because we were planning to be gone from the home for a good portion of that time anyway. After returning to the residence and checking in with Menards a month and a half later on the as yet undelivered merchandise, we were told it would be another two months before they could deliver because they were waiting on component parts from China to actually manufacture the dishwasher. We attempted to cancel at that time and have been in limbo ever since awaiting our refund. I would recommend never using Menards online for any purchases, a very low-rent operation.

    We ordered a pole barn. The wood in the pallet was to be used for purlins, over half the boards were damaged. I ordered a roll up door to save on head room and 2 months later have still not received the door. They keep moving the ship date back. Had I have known this to begin with I could have had one locally in 3 weeks. Absolutely horrible customer service and I will never use them for anything again.

    I have been shopping at Menards for years for projects I've done around our home and cabin. Often there are rebates on the products purchased. These are usually for small amounts like $20.00 to $40.00. However, I recently made a larger purchase for our cabin and was to get a $246.00 rebate. I have not received this rebate. Now mysteriously they aren't getting back to me. I will never shop at Menards again. Their rebate system is a complete joke. If I could give them no stars I would!

    Visited Menards in New Philadelphia, & because my face mask wasn't covering my nose I was harassed by several employees. They even followed me in the restroom, unbelievable! Company policy or not, being harassed like that is unacceptable. It was so bad that I left the store & my merchandise (160.00). Menards lost that money over harassment. I will take my business to Lowe's. After getting to my car outside. I was then harassed by another employee while trying to get in my car. And I will mention she did not have a face covering on. Get a grip Menards. You are running business away.

    I received a Kawasaki power washer for father's day, back in 2019. Used it once in 2019 and it worked well. Then in 2020, went to use it again, and the metal pipe in the wand had cracked. Took me almost two months to find a replacement wand, even Menards didn't sell the correct size. I had to be put in contact with a rep from All Trade Tools, the supplier for Menards, for the correct size products, which cost me an additional $40. He admitted to me that for a couple dollars more, Menards could have had these power washers made with better piping, that wouldn't crack in the winter months, but some account nixed the added cost. When I got the new wand from All Trade, and put it on, then a pipe in the motor unit broke, spewing water everywhere. I felt bad for my kids. Menards sells cheap power tools, and I would not recommend to anyone to buy these type of items.

    Basically, the same as e few other disabled vets who were treated terribly by Menards for not being able to were a mask. My problem happened at the Green Bay store when I was confronted by a female employee and told I needed to wear a mask. I informed her that for medical reasons I could not and was told to leave. Rather rudely, I might add. I asked to see the manager and was told by her that SHE was the manager. On my way out, I asked another employee who the manager was, and was directed to a completely different person who confirmed that the female was NOT actually the manager, that HE was. Once again I explained my issue to him and was told to leave, again, rather rudely. I even tried to show my documentation for my disability, but was told that it's private property and I had to leave.

    This is actually my second time having a problem at that store. A few years ago I was injured by a piece of steel in their yard. It took over an hour before anyone found any kind of first aid kit, and then it was only a band aid. I ended up wrapping my sock around my leg to stop the bleeding and drove myself to the hospital. But first they wanted me to sign some paperwork. Then, their lawyer gave me a bunch of grief about the bill. Menards is certainly NOT disabled friendly and will never get another dime from me.

    My name is Luke W, and today I visited the Menards location at 1301 Sand Lake Road, Onalaska, WI 54650. I served my country in the United States Marine Corps from 2003 to 2007. I have been in treatment within the Veterans Affairs system for various psychological health conditions. I have significant issues with restricting airflow or obstructing my ability to breathe. My health is something I do not feel I should have to share because of my rights to privacy. But because of how I was treated at Menards today, I am compelled to explain my conditions.

    As I was shopping, I was approached and told I had to wear a mask. When I explained I had various health conditions, the employee responded that Menards had no exceptions to their mask policy, and I had to wear a mask. I continued to refuse and explained my conditions yet again. I was told I didn't have any health conditions, which, as you are probably aware, is discriminatory and offensive to anyone who suffers every day with mental and physical difficulties brought about from service to this nation. This disgusting treatment by the Menards staff was my tipping point and the reason for this letter. I was accosted three additional times by various employees whom all parroted the same discriminator language as the first. I am offended and appalled by Menards' practices and plan to tell anyone who listens to how I was treated. I will never again spend money at Menards.

    Menards does not enforce employees wearing masks correctly. I was just at the Menards at 2700 LAKE COOK RD, LONG GROVE 60047 and I noticed a good percentage of their employees were only wearing their masks over their mouths. This is the same as not wearing a mask at all. So, you need to take extra precaution and stay clear of these people or do not go to this Menards. When people only wear masks over their mouths, they are breathing through their nose. This is how people breathe normally. One of these people was operating one of the registers where people check out. We happened to be in this line and did not notice this until we got up to this person. I immediately asked the person to put the mask over their nose. They would not comply with this request.

    I asked several times. Then I finally told them I would go speak to the manager of the store. I did this and pointed out the person that was not wearing their mask correctly. The manager seemed oblivious. I then told him that a good percentage of their employees were not complying with wearing their masks correctly. It was like talking to a wall. I did let him know that I would be putting this incident online. Again he seemed oblivious. My advice to people is, if you want to stay safe then you should avoid this Menards.

    Just witnessed the store kick out a disabled veteran with one lung for not wearing a mask. He tried to show them his disability papers but they treated him like horribly. I tried to take up for him and was told to leave too. I told the manager That man lost his lung fighting for our freedom and she clearly said she didn’t care what he did. This store is definitely anti veterans and anti American.

    Wow, what an experience I've had shopping online at Menards. This is my 1st time going through their website and getting goods delivered to my residence, via UPS. That there should have been my first red flag. UPS says that it delivered my package on Tuesday, July 21st at 3:04PM. Well guess what, I was at home sitting & anticipating the delivery of said package all day. No one, with the exception of the mailman, had rang my bell, or knocked on my front door. I also hadn't received a notification informing me that the delivery had been made, as I usually have with all other previous online deliveries.

    I've made several attempts now to contact Menards through their online email & have not heard back. I've submitted a missing package claim on the UPS website as advised by their upper management team. I've reached on Menards Facebook Messenger page, still ignored. There's no 800# that a customer can reach them on. I've run out of ideas in how I can someone to look into this matter. I will never ship Menards again. I don't need the headache. Guess it's back to Amazon I go.

    Relatively new to our area, this place is amazing. Great deals, selection and rebates! Excellent source for hard-to-find woods, like maple & ash. If they were closer, we wouldn't shop anywhere else! Their tool and paint areas are especially noteworthy. They are also requiring masks, which I believe to be appropriate (other home improvement stores do not).

    I shop frequently at Menards because they often have sale items I want in addition to rebates on certain items as well as your overall purchase. They also carry grocery items that I cannot find anywhere else. When doing repairs and simple home fixes I don’t hesitate to shop Menards.     Purchased item on 06/14/2020 paid for two day delivery for 6/17/2020. It showed up on my porch on 06/18/2020. It was in 1000 pieces and glass coming out of box. It was not packaged for shipping, label just placed on box with no additional padding for shipping for glass. The box was tapped up from UPS and placed on porch. I have emailed the customer service everyday since 06/18/2020 to let them know it was damaged and still as of today(6/25/2020) no return email since that is the only way to get in touch with them. They have not responded to any emails from me. I was full refund including shipping since it as paid to be delivered a day earlier and then damaged beyond repair. Will suggest look at reviews first. Their Customer Service is awful!
